#Pro Life Advocate

The Biden administration is under fire for selectively prosecuting pro-life advocates who protested abortion inside abortion centers while ignoring hundreds of pro-abortion attacks on churches, pro-life groups and pregnancy centers.
Heather Idoni is one of the dozen pro-life advocates who have been charged or convicted of violating the bogus FACE law that denies free speech rights to pro-life Americans. As LifeNews reported, the pro-life advocates have been found guilty of violating a federal law protecting abortion centers and now face the possibility of 11 years in prison.
That political persecution is bad enough, but recent reports indicated Idoni was placed in solitary confinement for 22 days for sharing food with fellow prisoners. After that, a second report indicated Idoni suffered a stroke as a result of the cruel and unusual punishment.
Now, a further update on her situation indicates Idoni has been denied the essential heart medication she needs. Here’s more about what happened when reporter Louis Knuffke interviewed Idoni.
Knuffke learned ” that she had had 3 stents placed above her heart two weeks ago and was told to take daily doses of heart medicine. However, prison officials have not given her a single dose, she told Knuffke, and DC Jail personnel have told her that their records say she has been given them every day.”
Idoni, who said she was suffering from fluttering of the heart, terminated the interview after saying she would request a trip to the hospital. Knuffke then called both Idoni’s lawyer and the emergency dispatch. Please follow LifeNews on Rumble for the latest pro-life videos. “I ended up calling 911 to get a dispatch sent to the jail to make sure they didn’t ignore her,” Knuffke told this reporter. “Her lawyer said that if the doctor declares her condition was due to negligence in medical care, the marshals at the jail would be civilly liable.” Idoni told Knuffke that she was frightened that she might die, as doctors told her not to miss a dose. Idoni, who is now a prisoner at DC Jail at 1901 D Street in Washington DC, suffered a stroke two weeks ago.
Sentencing hearings for nine pro-life advocates that Biden is attempting to put in prison for a decade are set to commence Tuesday.

Sometimes I think I have run across all the types of nihilistic despair that exist in the world.
And then someone new tries to argue on one of my pro-life posts.

at this point i am simply uninterested in any opinion on a hot-button political topic that treats human beings as a mass of meaningless hypotheticals

Any thoughts on the Ozempic weight loss discourse? Seems like it might be a "cure" for obesity, although obviously there have been previous Miracle Drugs that amounted to nothing. If anything, it might make being a feedist even more deviant if the US obesity rate actually meaningfully declines from this
cw: disordered eating, medical fatphobia
my doctor offered to put me on ozempic for my pcos but the packet of potential side effects was insane, especially for ppl who already struggle with weight related illnesses 😰 it makes me so sad that ppl are using diabetes medication to synthetically reduce their appetites, several of the women in my family took fen phen in the nineties and one nearly died 😥 depending on the long term efficacy, safety, and accessibility, i wouldn't be surprised if it made being visibly overweight more frowned upon though :/

For every Snow haters that go with the "Snow is evil from the start, no one and nothing can save him, something will ever be wrong with him!"... Do you... Do you realize you are using dr Gaul arguments? That someone can be born as evil, that there is no "cure"?
Do you realize that is the exactly worldview that leads to the Hunger Games, right? The dehumanisation of people? If they are savages, if they are beasts, if they are "born evil", then of course they can not be children that we are murdering. They are rabid creature and nothing can save them, best to let them kill each other and use this as a lesson.
That's it. You are not Snow haters, you are dr Gaul supporter.

you know sometimes people ask me why I'm pro self diagnosis and there's a couple reasons
Knowing that I had anxiety and depression as a child protected me from gaslighting because I knew I wasn't "just overreacting." I got diagnosed a few years later and was told I should've received treatment much sooner.
The first psychologist I saw told me that I didn't have ADHD, just really intense anxiety. I disagreed and followed up with a psychiatrist. He diagnosed me, my sister, and my dad with ADHD, and all of us got medication that made life far more manageable. None of us would have that aid if I hadn't done research and pressed doctors for actual help
Having a name for what I was experiencing let me research resources for self help, and my mother has done the same thing to treat her anxiety when seeing a doctor wasn't viable. Since then she's attended mental health sessions at public community centers and has been able to work on her anxiety
Psychologists and psychiatrists see a lot of people every day for relatively brief sessions, and they don't know everything about your brain after talking for an hour once a month. Of course, trust experts, but your lived experiences are also very important sources and it's important to seek second opinions if you feel you need help.

Tfw you make a whole new love interest for Athy because you dislike both of the canon ones
#both of them have similar flaws at different levels#no hobbies#no interests#no meaningful relationships nor the desire for any outside of her#they care but only at surface level and don’t care at a deeper empathetic level#like hey I like you but I actually don’t think I know what I like about you#and my care for you is explicitly more like I care for your attention#and I don’t really care about what you love#I only care about what you love if it affects you because if something happens to you your attention is also gone#I also don’t actually know that much about you#even though they’ve both spent different amounts of time with her#they don’t actually know nor understand Athy emotionally nor has Athy actually opened up about a lot of things#like the closest she’s opened up in her whole third life was to Jennette and that’s depressing#Ijekiel has seen a lot of her lonely and sad side but doesn’t know her internally or at a deeper level#Lucas has spent the most time with her but doesn’t understand her feelings completely at all nor does he understand her reasons and drive#nor does he really care about them as long as she’s alive#which applies to them both#also both would kinda suck politically and foreign affairs-wise speaking#Lucas would suck at foreign affairs because I physically cannot see him understanding or caring enough about others#he can fake kindness but he can’t fake understanding#and understanding is key for foreign affairs#Ijekiel would be better and his foreign Arlanta knowledge would help#but also#his social skills aren’t that much better than Lucas’#there are too many cons for both of them that could outweigh the pros#and plus the pros Athy can easily access as friends anyway#I am a strong advocate for single Empress Athy or marrying a completely different and qualified person she meets in adulthood#like what happened to the flowery boy and lone wolf or literally any other noble in Obelia that’s around her age#or even foreign nobles#syl tea

tf? you’re literally progressive in every way but then you have pro-choice as DNI??
Oh my god that was an accident, I meant anti choice I feel so stupid how did I let that go unchecked. Please understand I completely support pro choice, no one should be forced to carry a baby they don’t want. It was very late when I was making that and there were so many pros and antis I was going through and my brain got mixed up. I myself and tokophobic and would do drastic shit to get rid of it

So many pro-abortion or pro-choice people are so disgusting. No regard for human life whatever. Someone breaks a goose egg, causing the mother goose to die from heartbreak, and there is massive outrage. But disdain and dismissal when parents miss their premature baby.

Sometimes, as much as I love internet communities and spaces, I really think a lot of people have spent so much time in sanitized, morally pure echo chambers that they lose sight of realism and life outside the internet.
I live in Alabama. My fiancée and I cannot hold hands down the street without fear of homophobic assholes. We have an abortion ban with no exceptions for rape or incest. We are one of the poorest states in the US with some of the lowest scores on metrics related to quality of life, including maternal mortality, healthcare, education, and violence. It’s not a coincidence that we are also one of the most red, one of the most Republican states in the Union. In 2017 the UN said the conditions in Alabama are similar to those in a third-world country.
Trump gave a voice to the most violently racist, sexist, xenophobic groups of people who, unfortunately for most of us in the Southern U.S., run our states and have only grown more powerful since his rise to power. The Deep South powers MAGA, and we all suffer for it.
We have no protections if they don’t come from the federal government.
I know people are suffering internationally and my heart is with them. However, this election is not just about foreign policy - we have millions of Americans right here at home living in danger, living in areas where they have been completely abandoned by their local leaders. We need this win.
No candidate is perfect, but for the first time in my voting lifetime I’m excited to vote. I’m excited for the Kamala Harris/Tim Walz ticket because they are addressing the issues close to home. They’re advocating for education as the ticket to a better life, but without the crippling student debt. They’re advocating for the right to love who you love without fear and with pride. Kamala has always been pro-LGBT+ and so has Tim. Again, if you’re queer in the South, we don’t have support unless it comes from the federal government, and we absolutely will not have support if the Republicans regain the White House.
Kamala speaks in length about re-entry programs to reduce recidivism and help people who have been arrested and imprisoned regain their lives. Tim Walz supported restoring voting rights to felons. In the South, you know who comprise the majority of felons? Members of minorities. It’s one of the major tools of systemic racism and mass disenfranchisement, and arguably the modern face of slavery (there are some fantastic documentaries and books that explain the connection between the post-Reconstruction South and the disproportionate rates of imprisonment for BIPOC). Having candidates who recognize this and want to restore the freedom and rights to people who have come into contact with the criminal justice system? And keep them from having to go to prison in the first place? That’s refreshing. That’s exciting.
I would *love* to live in a country where women’s rights are respected, where LGBT+ rights and protections are a given, where we treat former criminals and individuals experiencing mental health crises with respect and dignity. I would *love* to live in a country where education is free of religious interference and each and every citizen is entitled to a fair start and equal opportunities.
But I don’t live in that country. Millions and millions of Americans find their rights and freedoms up for debate and on the ballot.
Project 2025 poses the largest threat to the future of our democracy as we know it. We are being called to fight for the future of our country.
We have to put on our oxygen masks first before we can help others.
You don’t have moral purity when you wash your hands of the millions of us who are still fighting for own freedoms right here.
The reality is that a presidential candidate is a best fit, and not a perfect fit. But comparatively speaking? Kamala is pretty damn close.

If pro-lifers knew that amniocentesis (the test that takes amniotic fluid through a needle in the stomach) is extremely similar to what's required for a late-term abortion, would they still do it to find out if they have a potentially disabled fetus they want to kill?
