The Flashback shows us Chosen and Dark being destructive across the web, but it doesn’t really give any indication of why they did this. This leaves us to come up with probable reasons that might fit. It also leaves us to come up with probable reasons why Chosen changed his tune before Dark.
And there are a lot of those XD but while so many of us talk about why Chosen stopped, and what might’ve changed to motivate his shift, I haven’t seen as many suggesting that…maybe, from the start, they were being destructive for different reasons.

ahhh finally FINALLY get to start work on this frame!
well...starting tomorrow, actually, to be precise. but this has been one of my favorite frames so far and im sooooo excited to finish it!
this scene was originally going to be a random made up city/planet, but then I started watching clone wars after I already drew this frame's lineart and saw christophisis and loved it! I thought the sharp angles could look enough like crystals, especialy after the coloring.
I...actually have never colored crystals, not to mention even digitally, sooo wish me luck and lets hope I dont fuck it up!
and yes, theres an N1 omage in the sky, no idea why it would be there because its not Naboo (maybe some random reason its there, who cares!), but I like to referance canon season 2/3 show details that we wouldnt end up seeing in the comic because its an AU.

there’s something so heartbreaking about andrew going to the roof to remind himself how to feel. because the only feeling he can voluntarily access is fear, and that’s something he finds comfort in. you could argue the comfort stems from the reminder that is capable of feeling despite what people say - and despite his genuine apathy to most things - but what if the comfort comes from the familiarity of the feeling? it’s common for people with trauma to find comfort in anxiety-inducing environments (which is why a lot of people with ptsd enjoy horror - it creates an environment where panic can be digested and compartmentalised) - so what if he’s invoking fear in himself because he experienced so much of it in his childhood, but now it’s something he’s in control of, it’s something he dictates when and when he can feel it by choosing when or when not to go to the roof. which is something he never had as a kid - control. maybe that’s why he seems more outwardly affected by flying (though it could be that flying is WAY higher than the roof, with more chance for error) - it takes the control back out of the feeling.
and then, of course, neil goes missing. and he feels that fear deep down to his core. and the feeling washes over him so completely and suddenly and uncontrollably that for a moment he’s 12 years old again wondering if someone’s going to be going to his room at night. but no, it’s not him at risk this time, he’s feeling fear for someone else. someone out of his sight, someone he can’t get his hands on. it’s something he can’t control, again. considering that, it’s not really surprising he puts his hands on kevin when he realises kevin knows something: he’s so desperate for a way to control the situation, control his fear, that it comes out as anger against kevin.

Sulfur Hexafluoride in Magnesium Production
Though it is far from the main use of sulfur hexafluoride (SF6), the production of magnesium typically uses this gas as a cover to prevent oxidation. As a result, the production of magnesium results in SF6 emissions. Non-toxic, stable, and odorless, SF6 is nevertheless a strong greenhouse gas with a significant impact on the environment. Many governments and organizations have thus banned the use of this gas, with an estimated 50% reduction between the years 2000 and 2010 but it is still in use across the globe in a variety of industries beyond magnesium production.
