There’s a lot coming up this June: Pride Month, Juneteenth, and FIVE YEARS OF TRANSPLANAR RPG! That’s right, it’s our channelversary — and we’re ready to celebrate.
Join us every Wednesday and Saturday in June to kick-off HALF A DECADE of our super gay, super trans, very noncolonial show! ✨
Each week of June, we’ll be celebrating one of the four main shows we’ve released:
🌟 The Second Stranger
🗡️ GODKILLER: First Blood
❌ The Chaos Protocol
and 🩸 GODKILLER: Last Hope
… with a series of special director’s cuts, reruns, and streams! A full schedule is in the works.
We’ll also share THEMED PROMPTS for the show in question. We’re inviting the space at large to make fan-works, games, or even Actual Plays based on these prompts!
At the end of the month, we'll compile all submitted works into a TRANSPLANAR ANNIVERSARY ZINE to print and/or release digitally.
While we are celebrating Transplanar, it’s important to us to take this time to raise funds for causes that we resonate with.
To that end, each week we’ll be raising funds for a different charity supporting Palestinian Aid, Black Liberation, ICE & Prison Abolition, and Protections for Trans Folks. Our stories are not just fiction!
And as though this thread wasn't long enough, we're also pushing for PARTNER on Twitch this summer! We have five years of streaming on the books, and we know our community is strong, robust, and deeply necessary in online spaces.
Make some noise and help us hit some new heights each Wednesday and Saturday of June, Transplanerds! 💫
We can’t wait to celebrate HALF A DECADE (‼️) of our all-transgender, POC-led Actual Play series set in an noncolonial anti-orientalist world.
Thank you so much to everyone who's supported, tuned in, made fanworks, bonked Connie, and enjoyed our stories over the years. We'll see you in June! 🏳️⚧️

W A K E U P O M E N
This place used to be Houston, now it’s something else, something dying. Titans, lords of industry and everything else left are the ones keeping it in a half-life. There’s a rot that runs so deep there’s no saving it anymore, not as it is. There’s salvation and devastation down this path, but you already knew that, Omen. Free the Hue, free yourselves, and free the future - the Titans must fall.
Titanomachy: DREAMS OF THE HUE / Demo Edition is now live, a fully playable version of the full release entering Kickstarter in late Spring of 2025. It contains the full rules, 19 classes, an example Titan and plenty 00's sensibility but-make-it-nightmare art from the incredible Jonatan Anjos and Minerva McJanda.

Built on The Wildsea's mechanical engine, TDotH is a fast and furious queer blitz of a tabletop roleplaying game, shrouded with furious revolutionary anger but cored through with hope for a better future.
Fans of Cyberpunk 2077, Spire, NorCo, Jeff VanderMeer, Neil Stephenson, Metropolis, and the work of Tom Bloom (Kill Six Billion Demons) and Wildbow (Worm, Twig, Pact) will find parallels in the broken world we've built for you to tell incredible stories in.
We hope you join us Omen, there's work to be done.

combining all the various stat increases and bonus effects from my various imbued tattoos, home-shave butch haircut, my +3 cloak of dykenkind and my masterwork boots of stomping i project an approximately 30 feet wide and 6 feet tall conical area effect of ward against bigotry that i can additionally boost by half my class level (3, therefore 1.5 rounded up to 2) feet by casting Dyke Shout (i yell "fuck off shit-cunt" real loud)
dyke shout is a mind-effecting spell effect that can be resisted with a DC 15 Will Save, Ward Against Bigotry is a universal effect that cannot be resisted but can be dispelled as if it were a 4th level Spell (i made those rules up and they're bullshit, fuck you)

Haven’t talked about it in a while, but my TTRPG Mystwork Heart is nearing its first round of playtesting with friends. Still need to make the train mechanics, but the core of the game is in working form.
So here are two “Character IDs” filled out for my main characters of Date Bite, Annie and Bea. Doesn’t mean much out of context of the mechanics, but I’m proud.

Yazeba’s Bed & Breakfast by Possum Creek Games

Our story begins in a sprawling old house outside time and space, where it’s always September 15th and there’s always room for a new visitor. A teen girl sits on the windowsill, reading a well-worn paperback and listening to the splashy-crashy rain come down. She's alone in the world, but soon enough the strangers who reside here will become her closest friends, family, and mentors.
If you love slice-of-life fantasy, queer found family, and cutting-edge game mechanics, then read on!
Yazeba’s Bed & Breakfast is many things. It’s a bed and breakfast, of course, but it’s also this book. And this book is a book, of course, but it’s also a role-playing game—the sort of game we can play with our friends around a table, or on a voice call while hanging out, or even very, very slowly by mail.
Yazeba’s Bed & Breakfast is played over the course of 48 chapters, each of which is a 1 to 2-hour scenario with its own unique but quick-to-learn rules. Players can take control of one of the 7 long-term residents of the B&B or choose from a cast of 50 quirky guests, each of whom has their own ongoing storylines.
The adventures contained within each chapter include lazy afternoons, frightful nights, insurmountable chores, and zany competitions, so every play session is full of surprises. There are bespoke game rules for overcoming mountains of laundry, picking berries, surviving a trip to the scary basement, naming constellations, and everything else that matters in a slice-of-life story. These mechanics are simple and modular, meaning you only need to know the rules for the chapter in front of you. It can take as little as 15 minutes to start playing.
After each chapter, we’ll be able to make changes to our characters and to the book—unlocking new guests and chapters and advancing the individual storylines of each character who played. Whether they've traded their heart away for magic powers or are just doing the everyday business of growing up, everything about a character can change through play, including their core identities. Over time, your copy of Yazeba’s Bed & Breakfast will become a unique artifact of your group's play experience, a treasure that you can revisit and replay for decades.
Yazeba's unusual blend of premade characters, modular rules, and legacy mechanics makes it a perfect game for pick-up play: busy players can drop in and out without ever feeling lost, and anyone who wants to jump in can make a long-term impact without a long-term commitment. We’ve spent months playtesting and working with our developmental consultant Avery Alder to make sure the game is as easy as possible for new players to step into, while still offering incredible depth for the more experienced player.
#not a book#well technically it is a book#but it's also a ttrpg#yazeba's bed & breakfast#possum creek games#trans ttrpg#queer ttrpg#ttrpg#trans book of the day

Here's a cute story about selling our TTRPG at conventions
My brother Nick and I did 3 cons in a row this month, selling our TTRPG The Magical Land of Yeld. We're an indie publisher and do a bunch of cons each year, but normally not back to back like this. Last weekend we were at a small nerd themed holiday show called geek the Halls in Portland, OR (our hometown). Lots of really nice nerdy people, a good DJ and free admission. (my brother Nick in the photo at our booth)

A girl and her dad come up to the booth, super interested. The dad has all kinds of questions about our game, which is an all-ages fantasy adventure. Its great for kids and its great for adults, but the sweet spot is parents and kids who want to play together. The dad is super interested, and keeps trying to get his daughter interested. And she is just... not having it. To be clear, she SEEMS interested. And the dad certainly expects her to be. He says several times that it seems to be exactly her kind of thing. But she keeps shaking her head and trying to pull him away. And when that doesn't work, she keeps making excuses. "Dad, you already have so many games. When will you even play this one?" She also keeps giving my brother and I this weird look, like she's expecting us to tell her dad he can't buy her game. I couldn't figure out what was going on. So we're standing there like idiots as her dad is trying so hard to buy the game and she is trying so hard not to let him. I'm on the verge of giving them permission to walk away from our booth, telling them we'll be there all weekend and they can talk about it and decide if they want to come back later. Which is code for "We know we're never going to see you again, but thanks at least for looking." You hate to lose a sale like that, especially to an enthusiastic gamers, but you don't want to make anyone uncomfortable either. Finally it all comes out. My brother realized it before the girl actually had to say it. We had met her two weeks ago at a different convention and told her about our game, and she had bought it for her dad as a Christmas present! The weird insistent looks she was giving me was her desperately trying to get me to remember that and not ruin the surprise. I don't know how I didn't' remember her. I had talked to her for about a half hour, and she had specifically told me she was buying the game for her dad. She was even wearing the exact same Invader Zim hat! Everyone laughed and the dad was excited for his Christmas gift. I felt a little bit like an idiot, but it had been a long month. I'd probably spoken to about 2000 customers about our game, so I guess I was just burned out. Anyway. Teen Girl with Invader Zim Hat? Enthusiastic Gamer Dad? If you read this, I hope you really have fun with our game. We made it for you.

TITANOMACHY: Dreams of the Hue | Omens 01 & 07
Art credit to the incredible Jonatan Anjos
RORY | background: WESTERN TRANSPLANT | hustle: AUGMENTATION REPOSESSION SPECIALIST | specialty: ORGANIST (L)
YESENIA | background: CONGLOMATON | hustle: DATALIST | specialty: OSTRAKON (R)
An Omen can't be too afraid to get their hands wet, and some callings end up with much, much wetter hands than others. Here we revisit an old friend, (our Repo, Rory), and meet a new friend dealing in the nightmarish realm of wetworks - Yesenia.
The Ostrakon deals in the realm of Dreams and the unconcious minds, even the whispers of it that remain after death. Using latent augmentations, Ostrakons can take control of recently deceased, plunge into memory, and discover exactly how far the mind can go before it breaks.
We've been very, very busy these past few months! Two successful con showings at both Big Bad Con and PAX Unplugged have led to now dozens of playtests and 4 ongoing campaigns! We couldn't be more excited to barrel towards crowdfunding in April, and to start to see the end phases of TDotH campaigns.
That being said, we need more! Please join us in our community Discord, and check out our free Demo Edition on itch. Thanks as always!

Alongside the Paint The Town Red core book, we’re creating six unique adventures, each one shining a red-tinted spotlight on a new city’s undead nightlife. Three of these are included in the core book, one in the quickstart, while the other two are delivered as a stylish prop pack, perfect for unveiling at your table.
The centrepiece of each adventure is a map produced by vampiric cartographer Aloysius King, detailing the lurks, haunts and key locations for each faction. The map itself is printed on a folding sheet of A2, large enough for everyone to see in play. The details of each city and the undead creatures that stalk them are set out in a bifold A4 pamphlet, lavishly illustrated to match Al King’s spectacular work. A set of 18 tarot cards contains more detail on the Contacts you can meet and the Locations and Factions you can visit in each city. All these elements are contained within a tactile C4 manilla envelope.
The six adventures are as follows:
Party of the Century: 82AD in the Eternal City. Written by Zachary Cox.
Hair of the Dog: 802 AD in Aachen. Written by Zachary Cox.
Party Crashing in Splendid Ghazni: 1016 AD in Ghazni. Written byBasheer Ghouse.
Sleeping Dead World: 1857 AD in Edo. Written by Hipólita.
A Modern Babylon: London in 1862 AD. Written by Zachary Cox.
It Never Sleeps: New York in 1920 AD. Written by Brian Flaherty and Elliot Davis.
Paint the Town Red is a joyful thrill ride through history, taking players on a tour of the high (and low) points of undead society. As a sad gay vampire, they’ll do anything to indulge their passions, causing untold chaos in their wake. When everything around them is drenched in blood (or on fire) they’ll have to move on and find somewhere else to trash.
Our gore-drenched crowdfunding campaign launches next week, and features a whole coterie of add-ons and stretch goals suited to any taste. These include things like blood-soaked dice (keep your mortal eyes peeled for pictures of these later) and more content for this, the greatest vampire party ever thrown.
