Agricultural production in the Almeria region of Spain is only possible thanks to the work of immigrants from Morocco, sub-Saharan Africa and Eastern Europe. They represent 90% of the 120,000 personnel working in the greenhouses. Low wages, intermittent employment and precariousness mean that many agricultural workers cannot find housing that is commensurate with their financial means and must live in the “chabolas”, shanty towns made of plastic pallets and tarpaulins where several thousand people live in total. This figure is constantly rising, as is the value of exports from the agricultural companies in which these people work: over 3 billion euros worth of produce was exported from Almeria last year.
El Wallili is the biggest chabola in the municipality of Níjar, with more than 500 people living there. Most residents are migrant farmworkers. It was established 15 years ago and is located in a strategic site between the greenhouses where they work. The local government provides El Wallili with no means of transportation, no water, no electricity, and no garbage collection. An agreement signed in 2000 between the local authorities, unions, and agribusinesses which committed these bodies to the construction of decent housing has never been fulfilled.
In November 2022, the municipal government of Nijar began the administrative process of demolition the El Wallili chabola, with no alternative accommodation being offered. This was escalated on Thursday 19th January with notice of demolition being given by the council, and delivered by the Local Police, for 30th January. In public statement, the Mayor of Nijar Esperenza Perez has stated this demolition is due to the terrible living conditions for residents. But in other statements, she has echoed the fruit and vegetable and tourism employers, who allege that the chabolas harm the brand of their products and services, as a reason for the demolition.
To resist this act, 9 unions and social movements have formed the Derecho a Techo (Right to a Roof) coalition. Right to a Roof demands that no demolition take place without the construction of decent alternative accommodation first, and have supporting the residents’ struggle against the eviction through demonstrations, strike actions, and road blockades.
The Landworkers Alliance, together with other organisations of La Via Campesina, supports the struggle of the inhabitants of the settlement “El Wallili” and the Right to a Roof Platform. The Landworkers’ Alliance asks the authorities of Níjar and Andalusia, the agribusinesses, and Coexphal, the representative of the exporters, to respect the workers who make it possible to produce and export the agricultural products that enrich the entrepreneurs of the region of Níjar and to renounce the demolition – as long as there is no alternative accommodation – and to agree to negotiate with the Platform on this matter.
The Landworkers’ Alliance will inform the people in the UK about the situation in El Wallili as long as no solution has been found to provide decent housing for all inhabitants. As residents of a country which imports vast quantities of produce from Almeria, it is important that we communicate to the authorities in Nijar that their attempt to prettify the image of agroindustry by disappearing its social consequences will not work.
If you can, please send this model email to the authorities in Nijar. A model text can be found here.

sharing those WIP snippets just now is making me feel guilty about not actually sitting down and finishing any of the shorter fics I've got on deck when I KNOW I could finish them if I would just stop being so stupidly dedicated to my Jason fic that I've been working on for the better part of a year now and keeps frustrating the hell out of me

i need you.
paige bueckers x fem!reader
warnings? not beta read we die like men, smut (minors dni), angst and fluff
summary - you and paige are friends until you aren’t 🤭🤭
enjoy!!! (please?) even if u don’t pls don’t tell me i’m sensitive.
you couldnt identify the point at which your friendship with paige grew into something more. meeting her in one of your soc classes when she showed up late and sat next to you, you two became friends almost instantly.
you knew who she was of course, had gone to many of the uconn women’s basketball game. and you would never tell her, but you were definitely a fan from the start, her game and personality being a major draw, and maybe also the fact that she was beautiful, like really really beautiful (a fact you would also never tell her).
you two started hanging out pretty much everyday, whether you were doing work, going out to eat, or hanging out with her and the rest of the team at a bar after games, the two of you had become quite comfortable in each others company.
but one day, things started to change. when your shoulders would touch watching your favorite show with her next to you, it sent electricity throughout your entire body, you felt yourself looking forward to the times when your hand would brush hers while walking side by side with her to class, your mood would lighten when she would text you to hangout or simply tell you about her day, and the time you spent together felt more and more intimate as your fondness for the blonde grew.
sometimes, it felt like paige was feeling the same thing you were. her eyes would linger for longer than you felt a friend’s eyes should, her touches felt more intentional, her compliments more frequent, and her words gentler. there were times when you both were alone where it seemed like the two of you were so close to crossing that line. like the first time she asked you to spend the night, and you woke up the next morning in her arms. or when she asked you to wear her jersey to her game the next day, and of course you obliged. she asked you afterwards if you would wear her jersey for every one, justifying her request by saying you’re her “good luck charm” and of course her good luck charm needs to rep her jersey, and of course, you obliged. when you were out with her at the bar and the two of you had been drinking she would constantly be touching you, hugging you, and telling you how much you meant to her. you couldn’t tell if this was paige being paige, or if she was truthful in her words and actions.
these moments were always left unspoken, as neither you nor her felt confident enough to ever cross that line. but your heart yearned for her. her touch, her voice, her laugh, her beautiful mind. and it was getting harder and harder everyday to hide your feelings.
now, with her returning to campus after the uconn women’s basketball team lost to iowa in the final four, you feel those inhibitions being lifted. your phone screen lit up as her contact appeared on your lock screen.
p: need u rn. can u come over?
you: of course, i’m on my way
as you walk out of your apartment to make your way to your friend you realize now the extent to which you feel for her and you want nothing more than to hold her in your arms and comfort her.
“hey,” she says, opening the door for you, her face betraying her overwhelming grief. you don’t say anything, you just pull her into a hug as she lets out her first of many tears.
“i know. i’m so sorry paige. you deserved the win, you all did” you say, comforting her while also holding back tears of your own.
“can we go to my room, just wanna be with you right now,” her tear stained eyes meet yours, and your heart swells at the urge to kiss her tears away.
“of course, i’m here for whatever you need, always” you say, grabbing her hand as the two of you make your way towards her room.
“i wish you’d been there, missed you so much it’s crazy,” she admits as you both lay down side by side in her bed. her eyes never breaking away from yours.
“i missed you too paige, im so sorry i couldn’t be there for you. i hope you know how much i wish i could’ve” you pull her into your arms and embrace her as her tears begin to fall again.
“i think,” she starts, but stops herself and pauses for a long time. you are about to ask her about it before she continues, “i think i realized something about myself this weekend”
another pause. your heart beats faster, you curse yourself knowing paige could feel it too. “what’s that,” your voice is barely audible as you struggle to get the words out.
“i need you, like i really really need you. ever since i met you i just wanna be by you all the time. when we lost i just wanted you to be there and,” she propped herself up to look at you before pulling you in to a tight embrace “i’m scared that you don’t need me too” her voice breaks at the end, shattering any hope of disguising her emotions.
“oh paige, you have no idea,” you say, feeling yourself breaking at her words. you pull away from her embrace and stare into her eyes, searching for a reason not to let your walls fall. you don’t see one, “i need you like i need oxygen to breathe. the world feels muffled when you’re not next to me, i admire everything about you and i’ve never felt this way about another person before. i’ve been so scared these past few weeks that i’ll lose you if you find out how much i want you, but i can’t go on pretending i think of you as my friend when you are so much more than that.” there it is. there’s no going back now. your eyes move away from hers as you await her response.
“baby,” she whispers, hand moving to caress your cheek as she gently pulls your face in her direction, “you’ll never lose me,”
suddenly, the space between you feels so small, and in a swift motion she closes the gap between you and kisses you. the world around you begins to spin as all of your senses become heightened. you feel yourself kiss back, not too hard, not too soft, and suddenly the emotions brimming for the past months come flooding to you all at once.
her hands meet your waist as she shifts her weight to be positioned on top of you, your legs opening as she places herself in between them, never breaking your kiss.
she eventually breaks it to look down on you, a million emotions displayed on her face. she reconnects your lips with hers and you feel yourself giving in completely, desire for the blonde blooming as her kisses grow hungrier. “i want you so bad” she says breathlessly in between kisses. her tongue grazes your bottom lip, requesting entrance, and as with all of her requests, you oblige.
“please, paige,” you let out, suppressing the moans threatening to slip out as her tongue explores your mouth. you tug on her shirt, needing to feel her body closer. she takes it off and removes your shirt as well. leaving you in only your bra on top. she smiles as she looks at your now exposed body.
“god, your tits are fucking amazing,” she remarks, staring at them lustfully. you blush, suddenly feeling so exposed. her hands reach your back as she unclasps the final layer, removing your bra and revealing your bare chest. she fondles your tits and the sudden touch elicits a moan you didn’t have the restraint to hold back. her hands feel so good, and you desperately need them somewhere else, “i wanna fuck you so bad babe”
“god paige please i need you so badly” you whine, so far gone at this point to even try to hide your burning desire.
“yeah?” she grins, biting her lip and licking her lips, “where do you need me, my sweet girl, show me”
you pull yourself up and remove your bottoms, leaving you in nothing but your underwear. you grow increasingly aware of how wet you are, and embarrassed at how obvious it is. her hands roam your body and she grips both of your thighs, her gaze lowering to your heat. “you’re so wet, all because of me?” she asks like she doesn’t know the answer and lets her finger graze over your clothed pussy. you moan as she touches your clit, grinding your hips desperate for more. “so needy baby, i’m gonna take these off now alright?” you nod as she removes your panties, leaving you completely exposed and at her expense.
her hand meets your bare pussy, rubbing in between your folds and onto your clit, eliciting a loud moan from you as your body reacts to her touch. you move your head to the side and close your eyes, letting the pleasure take over. but you are quickly brought back to reality when she stops touching you and takes your face into her hand, bringing it back to face her, “i want you to look at me when i fuck you, do you understand baby?” she plants a kiss on your lips and you nod in response, unable to say a thing.
her fingers move back towards your heat and she slides one into you, “how’s that sweet girl, does that feel good?”
“yes. please. more.” you whine, your body burning at her touch, desperately needing more.
“oh yeah?” she teased as she slipped another finger in you, slowly pumping them in and out of you, curling them so she could feel them stretching against your walls.
you were done for. your body twisting and rutting against her, only causing her to quicken her pace inside you, never breaking your gaze for a second. “god you’re so fucking gorgeous like this, all mine”
your senses overloaded by her hungry words and quickening pace, you felt yourself nearing your climax “paige, please don’t stop. i’m so close” you beg, causing her to fuck you harder and faster.
“yeah? come for me baby, you’ve done so well, my pretty girl,” that was all it took to force you over the edge. you come hard, screaming out her name as the pleasure enveloped your entire body. she fucks you through your orgasm, whispering in your ear the entire time telling you how pretty you look and how good you are.
the wave of pleasure subsiding and your senses gradual coming back to you, she slides her fingers out of you, licking your wetness off of them and falling back onto your smaller figure.
“holy shit” you breathe out, panting. suddenly feeling very sleepy.
“yeah, holy shit.” she laughs, “you’re so fucking hot, you know that?” you blush at her compliment, burying your face in her chest.
“do you still think i don’t need you?” you ask, looking up at her with a shy smile. she grins, giving you a sweet kiss and looking at you with so much endearment it makes your heart swell.
“no, i’m pretty sure you made yourself clear” she laughs, pulling you closer.

𝐒𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐩
• It's mid-day when he stumbles in from a long morning of working on cars down at the DX with Steve. Grease is all along the skin of his hands, and a different kind can be seen slicking back his hair, but that's nothing a hot shower can't fix
• He was on his way to do just that, enjoying the for once empty house as he did so, only to stop dead in his tracks when he saw you splayed out on the couch
• You were so still his first thought was that you were taking a nap. But once Soda looked closer, he quickly realized you were doing anything but sleeping
• "Hey there Soda." You slurred with a careless grin, elevating your head the best you could to keep blood from dripping into your eye; the likes of which was already beginning to swell an angry red color
• It was clear to Soda what had happened. Everyone in the gang had been jumped once or twice, the more minor ones resulting in a fist fight or two while the bigger fights ended up with scars like Johnny had, and he could tell this was one of the latter
• "Good glory."
• Soda immediately dropped everything to take care of you. Or, when you wouldn't let him fuss over you, insisting you were fine (you were not), he goes out of his way to keep an eye on you. The only times he leaves your side on the couch is to bring you some rubbing alcohol and a bandage for the open wounds
• Turns into such a mother hen. Even after getting a closer look at your injuries, which turned out to be less troubling than he had expected, he still refuses to leave you alone
• "What were you doing walking in that part of town?" He throws his hands in the air as you finally explained where you'd gotten jumped. "You know we ain't liked much there, man."
• You grunted with a mix of pain and annoyance as you sat yourself up more. "Yeah, well I wasn't exactly expecting to get jumped in broad daylight on a public street now, was I?"
• He supposes that's a fair point, but won't admit it. Especially not while your skin is turning various shades of the rainbow
• After that day he always makes sure to remind you not to walk anywhere soc's are known to hang. It even goes as far as him suggesting he could draw you a map, to which you respond by reminding him that you'd lived here just as long as he had and could walk by yourself thank you very much
• "At least make sure you carry a blade or something, yeah?" He practically begs you, all the while staring at the small scar that swiped across the beginning of your hairline. A memory of when you had been stupid enough to get into a fight you knew you wouldn't win
• "Yeah yeah whatever Soda." You puff, promising him that if anything like that ever happens again you won't hesitate to call him or one of the other guys
• He might be a bit overbearing, but by god does Soda love you, so don't you go getting beat up on now
𝐏𝐨𝐧𝐲𝐛𝐨𝐲
• This was before he had gotten tag teamed on the way back from the movies, so frankly, when Ponyboy finds you leaning against a brick wall downtown with your head all but limp against it, he thinks he's found a dead body
• Pony is just about to nervously pass it when he notices your shoes—the exact same type he'd seen you wearing the last time you'd met up with him
• Has no idea what to do at first. He'd never seen anyone other than Johnny look like this after getting jumped, and the other boy had been crying. You were just laying there. He supposed that if he had been you, he would have been hollering for his brothers by now
• Doesn't freak out. That's not in his nature. Instead, Pony kind of just stares at you for a moment before walking over and shaking you. Perhaps with a bit more force than nessicary
• Despite his gift with words, Pony couldn't describe the relief that washed over him when he opened his eyes even if he wanted to
• "What happened?" He says your name with an underlying quiver to it, eyes darting around your shoulders as he looks at bruises and cuts. Nothing serious he hopes, but it's hard to tell in the moonlight. If he squints his eyes hard enough, he thinks he sees purple marks in the shape of fingers around your neck
• Sure enough, when you speak your voice is a little wheezey
• "What does it look like?" You cough, throwing your head back against the wall with enough effort that Pony hears a crack. "Owch. Forgot that was there."
• He isn't sure if your asking him about your face, or talking about the brick wall. Either way he wouldn't know what to say, so he just responds by standing up and bringing you with him
• Ponyboy feels about as young as he looks when the two of you first start walking down the dimly lit streets, but by the time he's close enough to see the lights of his house, he swears to himself that his muscles would've given out if the walk had been another block longer
• His brothers, and whoever else happens to be over at the house at the time, mostly take over once he manages to pry the screen door open with his free hand and toss you inside. Pony stands by as they make sure you'll be okay, occasionally making use of his hands by bringing you water or disinfectant
• He tries to skip school the next day to stay home with you and make sure you sleep alright, but is sent off anyways when Darry vetos that idea before he could even fully suggest it
• He's real eager to get home all through the school day, and is glad when he walks in on you sitting in his kitchen that afternoon, rubbing at the spots on your neck as you eat a meal Darry managed to scrounge up for you
• Let's just say Pony is always the first to ask you to be safe when you go out alone after that
𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧𝐧𝐲
• If this is Johnny before he himself gets jumped, then you're getting a very concerned friend questioning you in a soft voice as he tries not to look at your injuries too much. He knows that he hates it when people stare at him after his dad hits him, so he attempts to offer you the curtosy he never got
• Post beaten Johnny though? He's a nervous wreck
• It's even worse if he finds you before you find him. His first thought is that the people that did this to you might still be around, and he's ashamed of himself for wanting to run away. Later when he confesses that train of thought to you, you reassure him he's fine and that anyone would have done the same thing, but he still gets an icky feeling in his gut anytime he thinks about it
• Assuming that you manage to stumble upon him first though, Johnny knows what to do and how to do it. It's almost sad that he knows the exact way to deal with a situation with this, but seeing as it happened to him not too long ago, it's not exactly a surprise
• He can't stop himself for looking for signs of ring indents on your face as he wipes blood off your face with shakey hands. His gaze is so intense that even through the pounding in your head you can tell what Johnny's thinking
• "It wasn't the same guys." You croak out. Johnny is momentarily startled at your words and turns as if to move away before hesitantly returning to the task at hand
• "Oh." His voice cracks. "Good."
• After making sure you're no longer bleeding, or at the very least hurting with every breath you take, he calls Ponyboy up first thing. It's the only other person he immediately thought of in the moment, and can't remember a time that he was more greatful then when Pony shows up to help him
• The two boys eventually tell everyone else, but that night Johnny relived every bad moment he's ever experienced all in one, and doesn't know that he'd have been able to deal with that if Pony or you hadn't been there; even if you were beaten black and blue
• Sometime later Johnny realizes that he'd been jumping at little things less and less, and a small part of him wonders if going through that with you that one night helped him to overcome some of his own fears. Even if by a little bit
• The thought it is comforting
𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐬
• Red light filtered through the bar windows as you stumbled up rickety steps to knock on an equally as rickety door
• Your teeth chattered in the night despite it being in the middle of summer, mustering the most genuine smile you could as the entrance eventually opened
• "Dallas here?" You asked the man in the door with a poorly disguised groan
• Whatever would have happened next was promptly cut short at you felt your throat tighten. With a lurch in both your stoumach and your body, you leaned forward to vomit straight on Buck Merril's boots
• "Urgh. Oops."
• Buck didn't even bother to growl at you or go look for Dallas before snatching you inside. If it had been a busier night, or if he had liked those boots more, he might have done either of those things. Or just straight up left you to sit on that doorstep until morning
• But Buck knew just by looking at you that you were in no condition to be left alone, and that Dallas would kill him if one of his friends died on his doorstep
• The bartender forwent knocking on Dallas' door before busting it open. He only had time to hope that his friend wasn't hooking up with anyone before stomping in, your dazed figure trailing behind him
• Thankfully it was just Dallas in the room. Just a pissed, shirtless looking Dallas. The way he shot up from in his bed made Buck think he had been trying to get some sleep and failing
• "They showed up looking for you. Let me know if you need to phone the hospital." He mummbled before slamming the door on the way out. Dallas barely had time to ask what in the fuck he was talking about before you planted face first on the foot of his bed
• Later he would be annoyed that you got bloodstains all over his sheets, but in the moment he was more focused on your ripped clothes and skin littered with flecks of glass and gravel
• "Got any bandaids Dally?" You ask with a dry tone, the joke falling flat at he threw the covers off of himself. Part of them landed on your head over at the other end of the bed, and he rushed to move then away
• "Shit— uh, hold on." Was all he could manage. You took it upon yourself to cautiously crawl up against the wall, mindful of the way your body screamed at you to stop as you did so
• Dallas finished russeling through one of his dresser drawers— the very same one that he would later go through to give Ponyboy and Johnny his gun after their late night misshap —coming back to you with a sunbleached cloth in hand and some pills
• "Hold that wherever its bleeding the most." He said gruffly. "And take these."
• "What are they?" You swallowed them without waiting for his answer
• "Hangover pills. The only sort of medicine Buck has here that isn't white and powdery." Dally leaned far back from you for a moment to scan your available skin, eyes lingering on the way you winced everytime your stoumach moved in the slightest
• "Got me there the worst." You noticed his looks and chose to talk through your urge to hurl again. "Still feels like the winds been kicked out of me."
• "Soc's?" Is all he asks
• You shake your head. "No. Some other greasers. Picked a fight with them last week. I won and forgot all about it. Didn't realize that they were that ticked off about it."
• Dallas resisted the urge to scoff at you, and it must have shown on his face; if the way you laughed said anything
• "Glory Dallas Winston, can you judge me later when I'm not bleeding all across your buddies floor?"
• "Sure sure." He waved, eyebrows furrowing
• He finds himself wishing later that you had gone to Darry or even Steve for help with this stuff. He isn't the best at dressing wounds, even if he's had lots of practice on himself, and knows better than most that his bedside manner isn't exactly the best. When you're not wincing or dry heaving in a bout of pain, the two of you are bickering
• "Anymore tighter, and my fingers will be likely to fall off, Dal." You gripe at him as he wraps a bandage around your knuckles with an air of carelessness, even if he was feeling anything but that
• "Shut up."
• For the love of everything good don't ever do this to him again. Dallas has no idea how to be soft with people, and he isn't sure offering you a cigarette right after disinfecting your wounds is the best way to go about it
• You accept the unusual gift anyways, shaking your head with a smile as you do so

I WAS WORRIED
PAIRING- JOHNNY CADE X FEM!READER
WARNINGS- MENTIONS OF MURDER, P IN V, LOVING SMUT, WRITTEN BADLY
Smut starts at paragraph 14
Tumblr media
Hearing that your boyfriend had gotten into trouble wasn't nice to hear. Especially when it involved a murder in self defence of a well known Soc boy. When Y/n heard about it, she felt many different things. The first was shock, then anger at how someone could try and hurt her baby, and then sadness because he had to go into hiding to avoid the mess.
That's what brought her to her current situation, demanding that Dallas Winston take her to him. "No, with that big mouth of yours, everybody would know."
That was absolute bullshit, they both knew it. Sure, she likes to gossip, but never at the stakes of her friends, definitely not at the stake of her lover. "Yes! Now get in this car and take me to see Johnny!"
He stood still for a moment, eyes narrowed, jaw clenching and unclenching. She grew nervous, but only for a moment before he scoffed and got into the driver's seat. As much as he didn't want to take the chance of his best friend getting caught, he knew Y/n was a good girl. She'd never rat. Plus, it would keep Johnny's mouth shut about her for a minute.
They didn't speak throughout the whole ride. There was nothing to say. Y/n wasn't shy about showing her anxiety through the tapping of a foot or the silent mumble from her lips as she thought about all of the things that could go wrong. While Dallas tried to hide what he was feeling, he didn't do it well. He touched his face too much, looked away from the road too much. He was stressed and it was clear to her, but they said nothing to comfort each other.
As soon as the thunderbird was parked in front of an old church, Y/n was off. Dallas only shook his head as he watched her run straight into the building and give the two of them a near heart attack. Ponyboy, once he realised who she was, just gave a soft smile and breathed in relief. Johnny on the other hand, wasted no time jumping up to pull her into him. There were no words to describe how refreshing it was for the boys to see a new face.
The two held each other for a while, ignoring Dallas and Ponyboy's teases and laughs. She was the one who broke the hug, much to his dismay, and headed over to the other criminal to give him a hug. He gladly accepted it and even showed disappointment when she ended it. She understood though, going so long without any sort of comforting affection like that must have been brutal.
After the tension of the arrival proved short-lived, the four all began conversing in whatever they could think of. This went on until Dallas abruptly stood up and had Ponyboy take him outside to their food supply as he was getting hungry.
When the two boys were gone, Johnny and Y/n sat in a comforting silence, eyes moving between contact and lips. There was an unspoken thought lingering between them, something that neither of them had built up the courage to say. It wasn't until she acted on an impulse and smashed her lips into his did he realise that she was very real and very much there. This was happening.
The kiss was filled with so much hunger and passion that he felt light headed. The love which was ignited between them was so foreign to him. She gave him everything she had and more. Johnny Cade was only eighteen years old, as was she, and his life was at risk. He could be thrown into prison, killed for revenge, or be driven mad by the constant danger he was in. That was too real. More than their love or their kiss. More than the hand that slid down his torso, and more than his actions of pulling away from her. "Not here,"
Y/n's only thoughts as she was being taken to a loft in the back of the abandoned church was how she was going to show her boyfriend how much she cared for him.
Johnny was laying on his back in no time, his girl slowly pressing kisses all over his face. Every one of them brought him happiness. At one point she stopped, pressing one last kiss to his jaw before she met his eyes again. Her legs moved to straddle his hips and her hands held his face. "I was so worried about you," she breathed. "So worried."
"Let me make it up to you." These words surprised both of them. She didn't think he would be so forward, and he thought the exact same thing.
In one swift, careful motion, he was on top. His hand was behind her head and his lips were on her neck. She closed her eyes and took in his warmth. Her lips parted in silent ecstasy as his hand roamed down her side, pulling her shirt up to be even with her waist. That was his next portrait. Kisses were trailed down her middle, stopping just above her pants before he pulled away.
A pathetic complaint left her mouth incoherently, but it was short lived as she saw his hands trail to his hips. She followed in suit by removing her shirt and her own pants. The look in his eyes was unreadable before it changed to hunger. Something that she's never seen before. And, fuck, was it hot.
Their lips met again and his hips grinded down into hers, creating a shameless moan from both of them. But he didn't stop there, every bit of contact made only encouraged the dirty passion.
It was his turn to pull away from her then, meet her eyes and speak so softly that she could hardly hear him. "Are you sure? Are you ready?"
"I want you." That was all he needed to hear before he tore away her underwear and lined up with her entrance. The anticipation got to her and made her close her eyes, preparing for what was about to come.
Seeing this, he pressed his forehead to hers. "I love you."
Every inch of him that was thrust into her was savored by each of them. Every inch of skin that they could think of was flooded with warmth. Her leg swung up over his hip, his hand gripping her thigh, moving up slowly to wrap around her waist and keep her impossibly close to him.
A tear of pure euphoria slipped down one of their faces, they didn't know which of them was crying but the salty taste that joined their lips confirmed that it was happening. Whatever discomfort there was for either lover couldn't even be remotely matched by the amount of love and pleasure they were engulfed in.
It was nearly impossible to keep quiet. Dallas and Ponyboy were not far from them, just outside the church. They could hear so easily. The risk, however, was not very present in their minds. Many other thoughts were taking over. For example, how fucking good they both felt.
His hips grinded into hers at a quick pace, pelvis hitting her clit with every motion. Her back arched and her torso met his. The arm that wasn't wrapped around her was used to slide down her arm as their fingers intertwined. Light, feathery kisses were pressed against her breasts.
She spoke in slow, breathy words. "You're so. . . Good."
For a brief moment, Y/n opened her eyes to look at Johnny. His face was twisted into an expression that could only be described as heavenly. A small, emotional smile graced her lips as she let her eyes close once more.
"You're beautiful." He was so quiet. His face hurried into her neck, mouth opened as he neared his high. The hot breath on her neck was something she never thought she'd enjoy so much. There was a tightness that grew in her core, then, building up so much that she struggled to keep from crying out.
As if nature was on their side that day, they reached their climax together. A fire ignited between them and spread through their most connected points all the way to the tips of their fingers, still laced together tight. The intimacy was crushing them in the most pleasurable way.
Her empty hand went to tangle in his hair, gripping tight. The arm that he had wrapped around her middle moved downward so that his hand could squeeze the fat of her ass.
He had pulled out and released on the ground between her thighs. There wasn't much time to allow his body to calm down before his attention was back on the girl in front of him. Her eyes were still closed as she attempted to calm down from her own high. He crawled back up beside her and laid down. She was quickly pulled into an embrace, neither party caring about how sweaty the other was.
"You're coming back again next week." It wasn't much of a question as it was a statement.
She breathed a laugh and nodded against his chest. "Yeah, I am."

"Watch it, Steve!" You exclaimed, giving the boy a quick kick to the ankle as you rolled out from under the car you were working on.
He let out a dramatic howl, jumping and clutching his foot like a cartoon.
"Keep goofin' around like that and this car's gon' take my head clean off."
"Ow, (y/n/n)! Watchu got stones in your shoe or somethin'?" Steve smiled, a flicker of pain in his eye.
"Now, c'mon, you two, let's finish this up. I don't know about y'all but I'm tryna get home tonight," Sodapop sighed, rolling out from his side with a tired look.
You, Steve, and Soda all worked at the DX together, and were working on your last car of the day, before Steve started up his usual shenanigans.
"Home? All the things to do on a Friday night and y'all wanna go home? S'enough to make a grown man cry..." Steve gasped dramatically, wiping away some fake tears.
"Not me. I got somewhere I gotta be. So if you would kindly shut your trap, maybe we could get this done," you glared, giving him another kick to the foot before rolling back to your spot.
Steve let out another loud whine, and Soda rolled his eyes, going back to his spot as well.
"You keep that up and you'll cripple 'im," he chuckled.
"Yeah, and maybe then he'll finally sit himself down."
"You said you got somewhere to be..." Steve smirked, his pain seemingly gone as he sat down next to you.
"Got a hot date?"
You scoffed, "Yeah, right. I'm meetin' Johnny at the Dingo."
At the mere mention of Johnny, the two boys let out loud coos, Steve making obnoxious kissing noises.
"Will you two cut it out?!" You exclaimed, embarrassed as you rolled out from your spot again, the flush on your cheeks clear as day, just like the grease on them, too.
"Johnnycake, you can stay at my house if you like. Johnnycake, could you walk me home?" Steve impersonated in your voice, tossing a rag on his head to make his hair look like yours.
"Johnnycake, it's freezing! Lemme get you a jacket," Soda chimed with a smile, throwing on your voice as well.
"I don't know what y'all are talkin' about," you rolled your eyes, standing up and grabbing the rag off Steve's head, using it to clean off your hands.
"You should. Poor Johnnycake's the only person in the world you're nice to," Steve gave you a playful poke in the side as you wiped your face.
"I'm nice to plenty. Pony, Darry, the man at the drugstore-." "Then why ain't you nice to me?" Steve gasped, offended.
"'Cause you don't deserve my kindness," you smirked, dropping the dirty rag bag on his head, which earned you his childish pout.
Soda rolled out with a groan, stretching his arms, "(y/n/n), we're pretty much finished here so you can head out after we close up."
"S'all right if I go on ahead? I really don't wanna be late," you asked, clasping your hands together and giving him your best pleading eyes.
"I don't know..." he shook his head, "I don't wantchu walkin' out there by yourself. You know the Socs have been real wild lately..."
"Relax, Soda," Steve smiled, throwing an arm around your shoulder. "(y/n/n)'s meaner than a wildcat, and can hold 'er own just fine."
Sodapop groaned, wiping his face before looking back to you, "You got your switchblade on ya?"
You nodded, whipping it out your pocket and flicking it open, "Never leave home without it."
Steve smiled, "See?"
"...I guess it wouldn't hurt none. So long as you're careful," Soda caved.
"YES!" You cheered, running over to grab your jacket off the hook.
"Your brother's gonna skin me when he finds out..." he sighed, shaking his head.
"Oh, now that's a hood. Guy's so grease he glides when he walks," Steve chuckled.
Your brother was a little bit older than Darry but they used to buddy around in school all the time.
Your parents were never in the picture much so he took up the mantle of breadwinner in junior high, and works the same job as Darry, and a couple others here and there.
"If he finds out," you grinned, turning to walk out, "I'll see y'all tomorrow. You two have a goodnight, ya hear."
"Yeah, yeah, just go on an' git," Soda rolled his eyes with a smile, waving you off.
"Do 'er one lil' favor and all a sudden she's all smiles," Steve scoffed, also smiling.
"That girl's a head case."
𝒋 𝒐 𝒉 𝒏 𝒏 𝒚 𝒄 𝒂 𝒌 𝒆
'Damn idiots. Don't know what the hell they talkin' 'bout.'
You'd started your trek to the Dingo about 20 minutes ago, and despite leaving the DX early, you were horribly late.
You sighed, roughly rubbing your hands in your pockets to try and gather some warmth in the cold, September air.
Although you were nearly there, the temperatures were beginning to get to you.
'Shoulda known not to take this flimsy jacket. Damn thing's thinner than Dally's patience.'
Letting out a shivering breath, your mind flashed to the image of Johnny, sitting in the drive-in all by his lonesome.
His sad, pleading baby browns staring up at the screen, open and empty seat next to him, collecting dust while waiting for your arrival.
'Dammit!'
Deciding your brisk walking pace wasn't enough, you kicked it into a jog, which slowly, but surely, turned into a full on sprint.
And with the Dingo's sign in sight, you smiled, speeding up even more.
That is, until you were suddenly grabbed by a set of hands.
A ringed set of hands.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Where you goin' in a hurry, grease?" The Soc boy known as Bob sneered, holding you tightly against his sweatered-chest.
"Away from your slimy paws, that's where," you spat, slamming your foot down on his, making him let go of you with a yowl of pain.
But sadly, Socs never travel alone.
In an instead, you were grabbed up by about three other Socs, two grabbing your arms and one taking your switchblade out your pocket.
"You gimme that back or I swear I'll knock in your teeth!" You shouted, your tone venomous and probably flammable if such a thing was possible.
You sharply threw your head to the side, knocking into the nose of the boy holding your right arm.
"Goddammit! The bitch broke my nose!" He shrieked, the boy that took your blade taking his place as the other nursed his poor, bloody sniffer. "This on got a mouth on 'er, don't she? Well, I'm sure we can fix that..." Bob gave you a lidded smirk, his words slurring in a way that made it clear as day that the boy was drunk.
Cracking up his knuckles and winding for a punch, you hardened your look, already prepped and braced for the oncoming beating.
'If this guy don't beat me to death, then (b/n/n) sure will...or even Soda.'
"DON'T YOU TOUCH 'ER!" A familiar voice shouted, that greasy mop of hair you liked so much sprinting out the Dingo and towards you.
"Johnnycake..." you sighed with a smile, relieved.
"Y'all Socs want a fight?! You got one!" Two-Bit added, donning his favorite Mickey Mouse shirt as he ran up right behind Johnny, breaking a beer bottle on the fence next to him.
But suddenly, you were hit with a full force, four ringed punch straight to the mouth, the metal on his hands nearly knocking your jaw off its hinges.
The two holding you let you fall to the floor before they sprinted away from the oncoming crazed dog that was a mad Two-Bit.
And with his running start, Johnny landed his own punch on Bob, with about three times the kick, and sent the Soc tumbling to the ground.
Though the catch was Bob got him as well.
A small gash on his left cheek.
Quickly, Bob scrambled up and scurried away, hopping into the safety of his Mustang and driving away.
With your vision getting clear, you could clearly see Johnny and Two-Bit fussing over you like mothers to an injured baby.
And it didn't help none when you coughed up a bit of blood you swallowed.
"Aw, shit! It looks like it slashed 'er lip real bad! We gotta get 'er to Darry's, quick!" Two exclaimed, throwing one of your arms over his shoulder
"Right," Johnny quickly agreed, grabbing your other arm.
"Don't you worry, (y/n/n). We're gonna get you fixed up just right. Just you hang in there."
Seemed like he was saying that more for his sake than yours.
"Broke one a their noses, y'know," you smirked, looking up at the boys with a bloody grin as hey started running down the street.
You let out a hardy laugh, "Damn thing looks like a bendy straw."
Johnny smiled, giving a quiet chuckle.
Two scoffed, letting a smile crack out the side of his mouth.
"You still got your sense a humor. Glad to see the Socs ain't knock you loopy."
𝒋 𝒐 𝒉 𝒏 𝒏 𝒚 𝒄 𝒂 𝒌 𝒆
"Darry! Soda! It's (y/n/n)! She's hurt bad!" Johnny exclaimed as he and Two-Bit burst into the Curtis house.
A crowd of eyes snapped over to you, and you cursed under your breath as you realized nearly the entire gang was there.
"The hell happened to you, Nails?!" Dallas asked as he caught sight of your face, eyebrows furrowed with concern as he slammed his beer bottle down on the table.
He always called you Nails because you were just like a bag of 'em when you were young.
Still are.
"Same ol', same ol'," you shrugged with a smirk, your head resting on Johnny's shoulder.
"Jesus, get 'er on the couch, quick!" Darry quickly ordered, jumping up from his recliner.
"Soda, go get the medical kit from under the sink!"
"Right!" Soda nodded, hopping off the couch and jogging into the kitchen.
Darry started keeping an emergency kit in the house after a rumble went bad and Steve wouldn't stop bleeding out his arm.
Steve and Dally got up and sat down on the table to give you some room, and Johnny and Two-Bit placed you down on the couch.
"The Socs caught 'er on the way to the Dingo. 'Bout four of 'em," Two panted, placing his hands on his knees to catch his breath.
"The guy with all the rings socked 'er good, cut up her lip real bad."
"Ooo, right in the kisser," Steve winced, Darry giving him a rough elbow.
"I got the kit," Soda announced, moving quickly back into the living room and opening it up.
"I told you to wait for me an' Steve to drop you off. But you ain't wanna listen to me. I though you had your blade witchu?" he scolded, his face trying to be angry
But Soda was never an angry guy, and was truly blaming himself for this happening.
"They all grabbed me an' took it, the bastards," you groaned, sleepily plopping your head down on Johnny's lap.
"I can take on a Soc or two, but four was just too many. I'm not Wonder Woman. Though I did break one of their noses, an' Johnnycake knocked Bob silly after he hit me."
You looked up at the boy above you with a thankful nod, Johnny turning away with a shy smile, "It was nothin'."
"Here," Darry handed Johnny a clean rag from the bathroom, "Use that to get up the blood."
The boy nodded, carefully dabbing the cloth on your face as if you were a porcelain doll, subject to crack with even the slightest hint of force.
"I shoulda never let you go by yourself," Soda sighed, raking a guilty hand through his hair.
"Socs think they're so tough jumpin' one of ours with four in their corner. I say we teach 'em a lesson now before they start gettin' too comfortable," Dally firmly stated, standing up as if he was ready to hunt them down right that second.
"I'm with Dally! We're lucky it was just 'er lip. What happens when it's 'er eye? Or 'er arm? Or there are more of 'em? We gotta nip this in the bud!" Steve agreed, standing up as well and crossing his arms.
"I'm sure 'er brother would join us. (b/n/n) would pound 'em into ground beef," Two chimed, his breath now caught and standing upright.
"No way," you shut down, sitting up. "Don't none of y'all dare bring him into this. He's already got enough on his plate with his jobs."
The whole room got quiet at your tone, even Dally tensing slightly.
"We're not wagin' war on the Socs just 'cause I got a lil' split lip," you turned to the Curtis boys, "If y'all an' my brother get caught in the middle of a rumble, him an' Darry are goin' to jail, an' me, Soda, an' Pony are gettin' put in a home."
The quiet turned to silence as the boys realized the weight your words held.
If the three of you got put in a home, there would be no guarantee that you'd stay together, or that you'd ever see the gang again.
"So, just play it cool. No jazz unless they start it, understand?" You cocked a brow.
A couple of grumbles and sucked teeth echoed around the room, but you figured that was about as much as you were gonna get.
"If that's what (y/n/n) wants, then we respect it. No jazz," Darry crossed his arms, further pushing them.
"Whatever," Dally scoffed, roughly tucking his hands into his jacket pockets.
"Fine," Steve sighed, stuffing a fistful of chocolate cake into his mouth as he sat back down on the table.
You turned to Johnny, about to check on him since he'd been so quiet, only to notice the small gash on his cheek.
"Oh, Johnny, you got cut real bad! I'm sorry I didn't notice," you apologized, placing a hand on his cheek and carefully gliding your thumb over the wound.
"It's fine. ...It don't hurt none, honest," he managed to putter out, red as a beet.
But you didn't seem to notice.
"Nonsense. Lemme getchu a rag," you got up, going straight for the bathroom, not noticing the looks that the boys were giving you and Johnny.
"They're in my room, (y/n/n)," Darry smirked, nodding over to the hallway.
"Thanks," you nodded back, going into the hallway and out of earshot.
And once you were, the teasing ensued.
Quiet whoops and coos slipped from the boys as each one gave Johnny their own little nudge.
"You see 'er? She jumped at the chance to take care of poor, ol' Johnnycake," Steve grinned, chocolate all over his teeth.
"Got 'er hook, line, and sinker, man," Dally took a swig of his beer, giving the boy a rough pat on the back.
"Y'all, cut it out, would ya? Don't know what you're talkin' about," Johnny rolled his eyes, pushing their hands off him with a sigh.
"She's crazy about you, kid. You see how she was all caressing' your face? Was like we weren't even here," Two chuckled, gliding his hand over Johnny's cheek just like you did, though Johnny tore his cheek away with a wince.
"Hush up, I think she's comin' back," Darry whispered, the whole group staging themselves as if they were going about business as usual.
"Hey, Johnnycake, come over to the bathroom! I found the rag," you called from the bathroom.
"Comin'!" Johnny called back, standing up to more coos and kissing noises.
"Go get 'em, tiger," Soda smirked.
"Use protection," Dally loudly whispered, turning around on the couch.
Johnny shot them a sharp side eye, turning the corner to be met with your beautiful smile, which immediately washed away everything else.
"Here," you started, wetting the rag as you motioned for him to sit at the edge of the bath tub. "Imma clean out the cut."
He complied, quietly sitting down and turning to leave his cheek open.
As you started tending his wound, pangs of guilt began to bang in your chest at the sight of it.
A part of you felt responsible. If you had just paid more attention like Darry, or had been more capable like Dally, he would've never gotten roped up in your mess.
Him getting hurt was your fault.
"I'm real sorry, Johnnycake," you admitted, a sullen look replacing the smile he loved so much.
"For what? You ain't do nothin' to me," he asked, turning to you.
"I was late, I got jumped, and I gotchu hurt. I ruined our night," you listed, hanging your head.
"None of them things was your fault. Four Socs is a lot for anyone to take on all alone," he assured, placing a comforting hand on yours and giving you his signature doe eyed look, nearly making you melt right there.
"This cut looks a lot worse than it feels, trust me. I'm just glad you're all right."
You smiled up at him through your beautiful lashes, making him flush as you two locked eyes for a quick moment.
"It was funny seein' you pounce on Bob like that," you grinned, folding up the rag and placing it back on the sink.
"Funny?" He scrunched his nose.
"Yeah! The way you jumped you looked like an angry tabby cat, claws an' all," you snickered.
He smiled, looking down at the bathroom floor with that familiar warm feeling buzzing in his chest, "Yeah, I guess I did."
Little did you two know, there was a crowd of boys right outside the door, a glass to the door as they tried to listen in on your conversation.
"Don't understand why he won't just tell 'er how he feels. They've been like this since grade school," Soda sighed, shaking his head
"A packs of cigs says they break before the year's over," Two smirked.
"I'll take that action," Dally smirked back.
"Two says that (y/n/n) breaks first," Soda chimed.
"With their pace they'll break in the next 30 years," Steve scoffed.
"Alright, to bed all of you. Let's give 'em some privacy," Darry smiled, pushing the boys away from the door.
"I think we've had enough excitement for one night."

DARRY CURTIS
PROMPT: THE GREASERS CALL YOU AND DARRY “MOM AND DAD”
PRONOUNS: SHE / HER FOR THIS ONE
Greasers. Everybody despised the greasers of Tulas. Y/N was one of them. Having the dislike of Soc’s, it was natural for her to have a distaste to them. After finding Johnny Cade, the friend of her boyfriend’s brother all bruised up and hurt from a soc, her hatred for the nice-dressed had grown stronger.
Here she sat in the living room of the Curtis household, waiting for the greasers to come back from a fight. Well, not exactly a fight but they had to go and make sure Pony was safe. Walking home from the movies in between Social and Greaser’s territories weren’t exactly safe. Especially for a fourteen year old who never carried around a switchblade like the rest of them.
On the sides of the armchair y/n sat in were a first aid kit and a bunch of bandages. On the floor consisted of more medical supplies. A sigh of relief escaped when she heard the cheering of each boy. Though… she assumed they would be tired after a fight like that. When the door opened, the first one in was Pony, who had a cut just below his jawline, directly on his neck.
“Pony! Sit down, let me clean your cut.” She spoke, almost like a mother as she stood from the arm chair and grabbed the first aid kit. Pony, being afraid to anger the (h/c)’d female, sat himself on the couch with Soda plopping himself down right after. Y/N stood in front of the boy, carefully holding his face in order to work on the cut without injuring him anymore.
Darry watched the situation, helping Steve with his bleeding nose as everything happened. Johnny was quiet, but he watched Y/N rather closely. Standing to his feet and slightly tugging her jacket, he spoke with a soft tone. “Mom-“ He froze. Soon as he said that single word, he froze.
This led the greaser group to look over to Johnny with a confused look on their faces. Except Pony. He didn’t look towards his friend, and rather looked back at Y/N. Whose eyes were widened for a moment. For a couple seconds, Y/N felt her heart begin to grow bigger. She smiled warmly at the black haired boy before speaking softly.
“Yes, Johnny?” She tilted her head as she spoke, but her warm and soft tone never faltered or disappeared. “When you’re done can you help me with my..?” He motioned towards his scar, frowning slightly. Y/N nodded in response, having gone back to working on Pony.
That was only a couple weeks ago. About two or three. Now Y/N stood in the kitchen, preparing food for every boy that would come around. Darry was out with Soda working, Dally had been off doing whatever(probably getting in trouble with the fuzz), Steve and Two-Bit had been hangin out, and Johnny and Pony were walking home from a movie together.
The Curtis house smelt like a whole restaurant, a buffet if you’d think. Y/N hummed as she cooked and placed everything out. It wasn’t until she heard the bickering between two boys, and two others trying to stop them. “C’mon, let me at him!” It was Two-Bit and Steve bickering like children. Per usual. But that’s what friends do sometimes.
Y/N hummed in response to hearing the bickering, taking off the gloves she wore and smiling when the boys had come through the house’s front door. Though… they paused. Soda was the first to speak through everything. “Why’s it smell good? Someone cook?” He questioned aloud, only giving a quick Look into the kitchen.
“Well, welcome home boys. Take showers then get yourselves down here for dinner, yeah?” Y/N spoke warmly to each of the boys. Soda stared with a look of confusion for a couple seconds. Darry was rather surprised. He wasn’t annoyed, no. He was genuinely surprised. Steve and Two-bit’s bickering had came to a stop before they shouted in unison. “I CALL DIBS ON THE SHOWER FIRST!”
And there it was. The bickering again. The two pushed each other out of the way, trying to go and reach the shower first. Though Y/N was not having it. “HEY! Quit your fightin’ or nobody’s getting dessert!” She shouted to the boys, only as Soda began to laugh. The sudden shout made Two and Steve grow quiet real quick. They were on the ground by this point, wrestling. “Sorry mom..” They spoke, standing to their feet and looking at the ground.
This led a confused shout to escape another boy who’d finally gotten here. Dally, who stood in the doorway, stared with confusion. “MOM!? The hell are you two on about!?” He asked quickly, going over to Y/N. Dally didn’t have a good family life, just like Johnny. For a couple seconds, there was bickering before Y/N felt herself get picked up. Dally was glaring daggers to Soda, Two-bit and Steve.
“Y/N’s me and Johnny’s mom, back up!” Dally shouted, holding Y/N close to him in a hug. Darry only watched. “Guys… she’s my girlfriend. And I’m not your dad.” He spoke sternly to the four boys. Though Dally stared at him with a blank face. “Sure, dad. Sure.” Maybe Soda and Pony would be the only two to not call Darry their dad. Though at this point, the oldest Curtis brother did act like their dad.
When everyone was home, finishing dinner and heading off to sleep wherever, Y/N and Darry cleaned the kitchen up. The soft humming of the female and the deeper harmonies of the male. “Hey sweetheart?” Darry spoke after the humming had came to an end by both of them. Y/N let out a soft “hm?” in response to the other. She felt a pair of arms wrap around her, and Darry’s chin going on her shoulder.
“We make good parents to this idiots, don’t we?” He then asked, earning a soft laugh. “That we do. That we do… they’re idiots, but we love them.” She whispered, closing her eyes and leaning her head on Darry’s chest.

I will always protect you.
Summary: One promise, and three times Kaz kept it.
Warnings: Mentions of child abuse, mentions of alcoholism, mention of alcoholic tendencies, underage drinking. Bruises, blood, stabbing, violence. Usual SOC stuff. And a little bit of ooc kaz.
Notes: Their ages go; first, 4 and 5, then, 13 and 14, after that, 15 and 16, and lastly 18 and 19. With Kaz being the oldest of the two. Also, I don’t know how little kids talk, so I tried to express their age more with actions.
THE PROMISE:
Kaz Brekker, a mischievous five-year-old boy with jet-black hair and sharp blue eyes, found himself running through the bustling streets of Lij. He was on his way to buy candy from his favorite stall when, by chance, he collided with a four-year-old girl. She had bright, curious eyes and a mischievous grin of her own.
"Oof! Sorry," Kaz muttered, rubbing his arm where he bumped into Y/N. The girl giggled and brushed herself off. "It's okay. Are you hurt?"
"Nah, I'm tough," Kaz replied, puffing out his chest. "What's your name?"
"I'm Y/N," she replied with a small curtsy. "What's yours?"
"Kaz," he answered, a sly smile forming on his lips. "You wanna come with me? I'm going to buy some candy." Y/N's eyes widened with excitement. "Yes, please! I love candy!"
Hand in hand, they ventured through the vibrant market, their laughter echoing through the air. They marveled at the colorful stalls, the fragrant spices, and the musicians playing lively tunes.
"Look, Y/N, that stall has lollipops!" Kaz pointed, pulling her toward a display of rainbow-colored sweets.
Y/N's eyes sparkled as she picked a blue lolly. "You think we can eat them all?" To the question, Kaz grinned mischievously. "Duh!"
They spent the day running from one stall to another, devouring candy and experiencing the wonders of Lij. They laughed, spun in circles, and created their own little adventures.
As the sun began to set, Kaz and Y/N found themselves sitting on a park bench, exhausted and with a tummy ache but happy.
"Y/N, I think you're my best friend," Kaz said, leaning against her shoulder. Y/N smiled warmly. "And you mine, Kaz. Forever."
After their delightful day in Lij, Kaz and Y/N couldn't bear the thought of being apart. They made a pact to meet at the same spot where they had bumped into each other every single day. And true to their word, they showed up without fail, ready for more adventures.
Their daily escapades were filled with laughter and endless games. They chased each other through the winding streets, played hide-and-seek among the market stalls, and invented new imaginary worlds where they were heroes saving the day.
Sometimes, Kaz would take Y/N to his family's farm on the outskirts of town. With excitement bubbling inside, Y/N met Kaz's older brother, Jordie, who always had a playful smirk on his face. And there was Kaz's father, a strong and kind man who welcomed Y/N with open arms.
Together, the duo explored the vast fields, chasing butterflies, and picking wildflowers. Kaz and Y/N would compete to see who could climb the tallest tree, giggling with delight at their friendly rivalry. They would visit the animals, feeding the chickens and petting the gentle horses.
As time passed, their bond grew stronger, and their adventures became even more extraordinary. They braved make-believe battles against fearsome dragons, crafted secret hideouts with blankets and pillows, and dreamed of grand expeditions to faraway lands.
One sunny afternoon, as Kaz and Y/N sat on their favorite park bench with nothing better to do, Kaz turned to her with a curious expression. "Y/N, can I come to your house today? I want to see where you live."
Y/N hesitated for a moment before shaking her head gently. "I'm sorry, Kaz. Maybe another time."
Kaz furrowed his brow, not entirely understanding why Y/N didn't want him to visit her home. "Awe, but why not?"
Y/N glanced down, her voice softening. "It's just- my da... he can be a little mean sometimes."
Kaz tilted his head, still not comprehending the depth of the situation. "What do you mean, mean? Like he doesn't let you have candy?"
Y/N's eyes filled with a mix of sadness and fear. "Sort of, yeah- it's hard to explain."
Kaz could sense Y/N's discomfort, and he didn't want to press her further if it made her uneasy. He reached out and squeezed her hand gently. "It's okay, maybe some other day?"
Y/N's expression softened, grateful for Kaz's understanding. She gave him a small smile and leaned against his shoulder. "Maybe."
Kaz smiled back, reassuring her with his presence. He knew that sometimes people had difficulties, and what mattered most was supporting each other through it all, even if Y/N's home remained a mystery to Kaz for the time being.
After a while of some more talking, y/n glanced at her old pocket watch, eye’s widening when she saw the time. “Uh oh. I need to go Kaz.” hurriedly, she stood up from her previous spot, putting her watch back in its place. While she ran as fast as her little legs could, she heard her name being called by Kaz “See you tomorrow?” Without stopping or looking back she yelled “Duh!” and just like that, she was out of Kaz’s sight.
The following day, Kaz waited in their usual meeting spot for hours, but Y/N never showed up. Feeling a mix of disappointment, he eventually headed home to find his older brother Jordie.
“Jordie, something’s wrong,” Kaz exclaimed as he entered the house. “Y/N didn’t come today. I think she doesn’t want to be friends anymore.”
Jordie chuckled softly, trying to ease Kaz’s concerns. “Come on, Kaz. Y/N wouldn’t just ditch you like that. Maybe she had something important to do.”
Kaz sighed, still uncertain. “But she always keeps her promises. I think it’s because I asked to go to her house. Maybe I pushed too much.”
Jordie’s expression shifted, a hint of unease crossing his face. “What did she say, Kaz? Why couldn’t you go to her house?”
Kaz shrugged, oblivious to Jordie’s uneasiness. “Y/N just said her da is not very nice sometimes.” Jordie’s eyes narrowed slightly, concern deepening. “She even mentioned he doesn’t let her have candy! Can you believe that?” Jordie listened attentively to Kaz’s concerns, his worry growing with each word. He understood the weight of Kaz’s words about Y/N’s father but decided not to mention it directly to Kaz, wanting to shield him from unnecessary distress.
“Kaz, I understand that you’re worried,” Jordie said with a reassuring smile. “But trust me, Y/N is still your best friend. Sometimes things come up, and she might have had something important to take care of. Don’t jump to conclusions just yet.”
Kaz nodded, albeit still a bit unconvinced. “I guess you’re right, Jordie. I just miss her, that’s all.” Jordie gave Kaz a kind smile and patted his back lovingly “Also, you’re not supposed to be eating candy either, mister.”
One day turned into three, and although Jordie kept his worries about Y/N’s situation to himself, he couldn’t shake off the unease. He watched Kaz’s hopeful eyes and felt a sense of responsibility to protect his little brother’s innocence.
Days after, as Kaz sat at their usual meeting spot, the weight of worry had settled upon him. But this time, his anticipation shifted into sheer surprise as Y/N appeared, offering an apologetic smile.
Kaz’s eyes widened as he saw Y/N approaching, and he jumped up with excitement. “Y/N! You’re here! I missed you so much! Where have you been?”
Y/N’s smile flickered, and she looked down sheepishly. “Sorry, Kaz. I had important stuff to do. But I’m done now and I brought you a lolly!”
Kaz’s joy quickly turned to concern as he noticed the bruises on Y/N’s face and body. He furrowed his brow and asked, “What happened? You fall down?”
Y/N’s eyes filled with tears, and she shook her head. “I’m not really allowed to talk about it.”
Kaz’s protective instincts kicked in, and he thought for a moment. “Well, my da is really good at fixing things. Maybe he can help you. Would you like that?” Y/N hesitated but nodded.
Hand in hand, Kaz and Y/N made their way to Kaz’s farm, a sense of determination guiding Kaz’s steps. They arrived at the farm, and Kaz’s father greeted them warmly.
“Da, Y/N has some little cuts and bruises,” Kaz explained, concern evident in his voice. “Can you help?”
Kaz’s father knelt down, examining Y/N’s injuries with a gentle touch. “What happened?” he questioned hoping for an answer, sadly, he got the same response as Kaz. “I’m not allowed to talk about it.”
Once Kaz’s father finished cleaning up Y/N’s wounds, he sat down with a concerned expression on his face. “Honey, I understand that you can’t talk about it, but I want you to know that you’re safe here. No one will find out, and Kaz and I will keep this as our secret. Won’t we, Kaz?” The boy eagerly nodded.
Y/N hesitated, looking at Kaz’s dad with a mix of uncertainty and vulnerability. Slowly, she mustered the courage to speak. “My ma and da are both sick.”
Kaz’s dad nodded, encouraging her to continue. “Can you tell me more about it, Y/N?”
Y/N took a deep breath, her voice trembling. “Sometimes… sometimes they talk really weird, and they walk funny.” She paused for a second to look at Kaz’s confused face. “They sleep a lot too.”
Kaz’s dad’s face softened with understanding. “They’re alcoholics?”
Y/N looked puzzled, not fully comprehending the question being made. Kaz’s dad continued, trying his best to explain in a way that a young child could understand. “Sometimes, some people enjoy something that’s not good for them, like drinking too much alcohol. It can make them act differently and cause them to hurt themselves and others.”
Y/N’s eyes widened, realizing that Kaz’s dad understood the situation better than she expected. Encouraged by his empathy, she opened up a little more. “My da is really mean to me sometimes.”
Kaz’s dad’s expression turned solemn, and he pulled Y/N into a comforting hug. “I’m so sorry to hear that, Y/N. No one should ever be mean to you. You’re a kind and wonderful girl.”
Y/N fought back tears, feeling the warmth of Kaz’s dad’s embrace and the reassurance in his words. As he wiped away her tears, he gently asked, “Would you like to have a sleepover here tonight?”
At first, Y/N hesitated, worried about the potential consequences. “I should be on my way home before my dad gets angry at me.” she whispered.
Kaz’s dad gently took her hand and looked into her eyes with kindness. “You don’t have to worry about that here. I’ll talk to him, how’s that sound?”
Slowly, she nodded, finally letting herself accept the care and compassion offered to her. “Okay, I’ll stay.”
Kaz was thrilled to have Y/N stay for a sleepover, knowing they would get to spend more time together than ever before. He took her hand and led her up to his room, eager to show her all his new toys.
Hours passed as they laughed, played, and let their imaginations run wild. Kaz's room became a world of adventure, filled with shared stories and cherished moments.
But as the evening grew late, Kaz remembered he needed to say goodnight to his dad and Jordie. He quietly made his way downstairs, hoping to bid them farewell before returning to his room with Y/N. Just as he was about to reach the main living area, he overheard his father and Jordie having a conversation in hushed tones.
Curiosity got the better of him, and Kaz leaned closer, eavesdropping on their words. His heart sinking as he heard his da say, "Her father hits her."
Shock and anger coursed through Kaz's young veins. He couldn't fathom why someone would hurt Y/N, his dear friend. Without hesitation, he quickly said goodnight to his father and Jordie, a mix of determination and concern etched on his face.
Hurrying back to his room, he found Y/N, already lying down in her makeshift bed, waiting for him. He approached her gently, placing a tender kiss on her forehead. “I will always protect you, Y/n.”
FIRST TIME:
Recently, Kaz had suffered a broken leg, rendering him immobile and dependent on Y/N’s support. Determined to alleviate their hunger, Y/N made a solemn promise. “Don’t worry, Kaz. I’ll find us food. Your job is to rest and heal.”
With a sense of purpose, Y/N embarked on a risky endeavor to steal from those they deemed as “rich assholes.” It was a desperate act born out of necessity, driven by the dire circumstances they found themselves in. Little did Y/N know that Kaz, the restless boy he always was, had decided to secretly follow her.
Kaz hobbled along with a mixture of determination and worry. He understood the risks involved, but his loyalty and protective nature urged him to be by Y/N’s side. He remained hidden, his eyes fixed on his friend’s movements, marveling at her agility and resourcefulness.
Y/N, driven by desperation, resorted to pickpocketing in an attempt to secure food for both her and Kaz. If she was lucky, she could get more money than she would by working for the dregs for a week. She managed to successfully lift money from three unsuspecting individuals, but on her fourth attempt, her lack of experience betrayed her. The merchant she targeted noticed her actions and seized her wrist forcefully, yanking her forward while unleashing a torrent of anger.
“You little thief! Trying to steal from me, huh?” Y/N struggled to break free, her heart pounding in her chest. However, the merchant’s grip only tightened, preventing her escape. “I won’t let you get away with it!” Fear gripped her, and tears welled up in her eyes as she braced herself for the consequences of her actions.
Just as the merchant leaned in, ready to strike, Kaz, fueled by a surge of protective instinct, launched himself at the man, tackling him to the ground even though the pain in his leg was killing him.
“Leave her alone! Don’t you dare touch her!” The sudden attack caught the merchant off guard, giving Y/N a precious moment to pull away from his grasp. She stumbled backward, tears streaming down her face, but relief washed over her as Kaz shielded her from harm.
Kaz stood defiantly, his eyes blazing with determination. He wouldn’t allow anyone to harm Y/N, not while he was there to protect her. “You better stay away from us, or else you’ll regret it!” With that warning, Kaz extended a hand to Y/N, offering her support. She grasped his hand, her fingers trembling, and together they quickly retreated from the scene, their hearts pounding with a mix of fear and relief.
With their stomachs growling, Kaz and Y/N made their way to the bakery. Y/N’s heart raced, but luck was on their side for what seemed to be the first time in a long while. The stolen money she had managed to gather before getting caught was just enough to buy a loaf of bread, some meat, and cheese for Kaz.
As they walked back to their dilapidated “home,” a sense of relief washed over them. Amidst the worn-down buildings and bustling streets, Y/N’s eyes caught sight of a discarded cane. Acting swiftly, she snatched it, ensuring no one would notice its absence.
As Y/N handed the cane to Kaz, a mischievous glint danced in her eyes. Kaz accepted it with gratitude, but when he instinctively positioned it on the wrong side, Y/N couldn’t help but giggle.
“No, silly,” Y/N chuckled, gently correcting him. “The cane goes on the hand opposite the side that needs support.”
Kaz’s brows furrowed, momentarily perplexed, but he quickly adjusted the cane to the correct side, a sheepish smile forming on his face. “Oh yeah, that’s way better.”
“Thanks for saving my ass back there, Kaz” Struggling to match his steps with the cane, Kaz looked at her, “I will always protect you, Y/N,” he replied, his voice filled with sincerity.
SECOND TIME:
As Y/N turned 15 and Kaz reached 16, their lives continued to be a challenging dance with fate. However, a troubling change began to surface in Y/N’s behavior. Kaz noticed that she was increasingly reliant on alcohol, far beyond their occasional shared glass after a long day at Fifth Harbor.
It became apparent to Kaz that he rarely saw Y/N completely sober. Though she fluctuated between tipsy and heavily intoxicated, the presence of sobriety seemed to elude her. Concern etched across Kaz’s face as he observed the toll alcohol was taking on his dear friend.
He approached her room, where y/n was nursing a drink, and gently voiced his concerns. “You’ve been drinking a lot lately.” Y/n, defensive and caught off guard, shrugged it off with a dismissive tone. “Pff, come on, Kaz, ‘m just having fun. What’s the big deal?”
Kaz’s expression grew serious as he responded, “It’s not just about having fun anymore, y/n. It’s becoming a problem. Both your parents were alcoholics, and that makes it more likely for you to become one too.” He didn’t intend to bring back ugly memories, he just wanted Y/n back. His Y/n.
“Oh, so now you think ‘m like the asshole of a father I had? ‘s that what you’re saying?” But alas, luck was never really on his side, was it? Kaz hurried to explain, “No, y/n, that’s not what I meant. I’m just worried-“ But y/n was too defensive to listen. Her voice rose, and she interrupted him, “Just leave me alone, Kaz!”
Frustration built up within Kaz as he struggled to make his point. “I’m trying to help you, y/n! Can’t you see that?“
“I don’t need your help!
Their voices grew louder as the argument intensified. Hurtful words were exchanged, both knowing deep down that they didn’t mean them. In the heat of the moment, y/n’s drunken state led to a physical outburst - a push against Kaz. Stunned by the shove, Kaz felt a mix of anger and disappointment. He looked y/n in the eyes, his voice laced with bitterness. “Maybe you’re more like your father than you think.”
With those words hanging in the air, Kaz turned and walked out of y/n’s room, slamming the door behind him. The silence that followed was heavy with regret and realization.
Y/n, now alone, gradually started to comprehend the gravity of her actions. She felt a rush of memories flooding back - memories of her father’s destructive behavior and the pain it caused. The weight of her actions settled in, “Saints!”
Seeking clarity, y/n decided to take a cold shower, hoping it would sober her up both physically and mentally. As the cold water washed away the haze, she reflected on the hurtful things she had said and done. A couple of hours later, feeling completely sober, y/n mustered the courage to approach Kaz’s door.
Kaz opened the door, his face still wearing a frown, unsure of what to expect. Y/n took a deep breath and asked, “Can I come in?”
Hesitant, Kaz nodded and let y/n into his room. The atmosphere was tense, but y/n was determined to make amends. With a shaky voice, she spoke, “I’m completely sober now, Kaz.”
Kaz’s expression softened, a glimmer of hope in his eyes. He nodded and replied, “Good.” Feeling the weight of her actions, y/n continued, “I never intended for it to go that far, Kaz” her voice filled with remorse. Kaz sighed and took a seat on his bed, ready to lend a listening ear. He understood that y/n needed to talk, to find a way to make sense of the chaos that had unfolded.
With a deep breath, y/n continued, “I don’t even know when it started or how it got to this point. The need for a drink just became so overwhelming, and I couldn’t seem to stop myself.”
Kaz listened attentively, his eyes fixed on y/n, offering support without judgment. They spent hours talking, unraveling the underlying reasons for y/n’s struggle with alcohol and exploring the pain and insecurities that fueled it.
As y/n poured out her heart, Kaz remained by her side, offering guidance and understanding. He didn’t have all the answers, but he knew the importance of being there for y/n during this difficult time. He could see the genuine remorse and determination in her eyes.
With a sense of gratitude, y/n said, “Thanks for always being there, Kaz.” Kaz’s gaze softened, and he replied sincerely, “I will always protect you, y/n.” He reached a shaky hand out to her, “Even if it is from yourself.”
THIRD TIME:
The crows and their stupid heists. Y/N and Kaz sat together in Kaz's office, surrounded by the other members of the crows. The air was filled with anticipation as they discussed their latest heist to steal a valuable pocket watch, rumored to be worth a fortune in Kruge. The details of how Kaz had stumbled upon this job remained a mystery to the crows, except for Y/N, who knew it came from a whisper Kaz had overheard in the bustling streets of Ketterdam.
The heist was no easy task, but it also didn't compare to the complexity of their other endeavors- like breaking Matthias out of the notorious Ice Court. This realization brought a sense of confidence to the group, as they knew they had faced greater challenges and emerged victorious. As the planning session drew to a close, the crows dispersed, leaving Y/N alone with Kaz.
Y/N took a seat opposite Kaz, her expression filled with concern. Kaz, ever the enigma, raised an eyebrow and prompted her to share what troubled her. With a deep breath, Y/N spoke up, voicing her worry about the people of Ketterdam and their reliability. She confessed her doubts about trusting anyone in this city, especially considering the clandestine nature of the whisper that led them to the heist.
Kaz couldn't help but let out an amused laugh, breaking the tension in the room. He understood Y/N's concerns all too well. After all, his experiences had taught him that trust was a rare and precious commodity in Ketterdam. But he also recognized the inherent irony in the situation—that the whisper, despite its uncertain source, had provided them with a valuable opportunity.
"You're right, Y/N," Kaz replied, a hint of amusement lacing his words. "People in Ketterdam are not worth trusting, or at least not easily. But this whisper most likely came from some drunk idiot who couldn't keep his mouth shut. We'll tread carefully, as always."
Y/N nodded, a sense of relief washing over her. She trusted Kaz. She always has. Knowing that his keen intuition and meticulous planning would guide them through the heist. “Are you sure you are ok with taking the pocket watch with you for a couple days until I figure out what to do with it?” With renewed assurance she nodded and they set their sights on the task at hand.
As the day turned into night, the crows meticulously executed their plan. Each member played their part flawlessly, their individual skills and unique abilities synergizing to overcome the obstacles in their path. Their heist was a masterclass in cunning and precision, culminating in the successful acquisition of the pocket watch. Little did they know, however, that their triumph held a secret yet to be discovered.
Unbeknownst to Kaz and Y/N, the whisper did not come from just any drunk idiot, it came from y/n’s father and the pocket watch they proudly took, concealed a hidden tracker. It had been planted there by Y/N's own father—a revelation that would soon shake their world.
After the celebration ended, Y/N bid her comrades farewell and made her way back to her apartment, yearning for a well-deserved rest. Fatigue hung heavily upon her, demanding solace in the form of warmth and comfort. She set about preparing herself a cup of tea, the steam from the kettle rising lazily in the air. While waiting she decided that she had enough time for a much needed quick shower.
Unbeknownst to Y/N, her father, driven by a sinister agenda, had stealthily infiltrated her sanctuary. Hidden in the shadows, he seized the opportunity presented by the teapot, meticulously applying a deadly poison to the water within. Satisfied with his clandestine act, he retreated to a darkened corner, waiting for his daughter to return.
Blissfully unaware of the peril lurking within her own abode, Y/N continued her routine, seeking solace in the embrace of a soothing shower. The cascading water served as a respite, washing away the weariness of the day. Refreshed and unaware of the impending danger, Y/N emerged from the bathroom and made her way to the small kitchen, intending to savor the warmth of her tea.
With unquestioning trust, Y/N raised the cup to her lips and drained its contents in a single gulp. A moment later, a chilling voice pierced the silence, causing her to startle. "You know, you ruined my life," the intruder uttered, the words dripping with venom. Y/N's heart pounded in her chest as she realized she was not alone.
Reacting swiftly, a mixture of fear and determination coursed through her veins. She instinctively reached for a kitchen knife, her trembling hand clutching the handle tightly. Slowly and cautiously, she advanced toward the shadowy figure, her senses heightened.
As the figure laughed, the sinister sound echoing in the confined space, they taunted Y/N with words that struck like daggers. "Kill me if you'd like. It won't make a difference, by the end of the night, we both will be dead, dear daughter," they proclaimed, their voice seeping with a sinister resolve.
Y/N's mind raced, grappling with a flood of emotions. Fear mingled with confusion, but beneath it all, a fierce determination flickered. With every step, she steeled herself, ready to confront the threat that now loomed before her. The room became a battlefield, a clash of wills between a daughter seeking to protect herself and the malevolent force that sought to extinguish her existence.
As Y/N launched herself forward, driven by a potent mix of rage and self-preservation, her hand gripped the kitchen knife with a determination that bordered on desperation. With a swift and deliberate motion, she aimed for her father's abdomen, piercing his flesh and eliciting a pained gasp. Yet, even in his moment of agony, he mustered a twisted laugh, taunting her with the knowledge that her own life was destined to be cut short because of him.
The realization of her impending fate weighed heavily upon Y/N as she watched her father's life slip away. With each fading breath, he served as a macabre reminder of the torment he had inflicted upon her. But despite the finality of his demise, Y/N's heart remained heavy, burdened by the understanding that her own days were now numbered.
Her eyes fell upon her father's lifeless form, his body growing cold as the minutes ticked away. In a hurried gesture, Y/N searched his pockets, her hands moving with urgency. Her search led her to an empty glass, bearing the traces of the poison that had claimed so many lives before. She knew its deadly effects all too well, having witnessed its aftermath firsthand. There was no salvation for her now, only a slim chance of surviving until morning.
Driven by a sense of urgency, Y/N hurriedly descended to the dimly lit streets of Ketterdam. Amid the shadows, she spotted Rotty, a trusted member of the crew. With a sense of urgency, she thrust a note into his hands, her voice filled with a mix of desperation and determination as she implored him to deliver it to Kaz.
"Rotty," she called out, her voice laced with urgency. "Take this note. Deliver it to Kaz. Please hurry."
Rotty, recognizing the gravity of the situation, nodded solemnly, his loyalty unwavering. Without wasting another moment, he set off on his assigned task, the note clutched tightly in his grasp. Y/N watched his retreating figure, her heart pounding with anticipation and a glimmer of hope, praying that Kaz would receive her message in time.
In the midst of uncertainty, with the poison coursing through her veins, Y/N was acutely aware that the sands of time were slipping away, but she knew what she needed to do.
Rotty’s hurried footsteps echoed through the halls of Kaz’s office as he approached the door. He knocked, alerting Kaz to his presence, and without waiting for an invitation, he entered, his expression grave. Kaz’s sharp gaze locked onto Rotty, ready to inquire about the urgency that fueled his arrival. However, before a single word could leave Kaz’s lips, Rotty handed him the note and swiftly departed, leaving Kaz alone with the cryptic message.
Kaz’s eyes widened as he unfolded the note, revealing a simple white paper with a solitary lollipop drawn on it. To an outsider, this might have seemed perplexing, but to Kaz Brekker, it held a hidden significance. A sense of urgency surged through him as he recognized the unspoken message encoded within.
Kaz’s heart pounded in his chest as he raced to Y/N’s apartment, his mind racing with a million possibilities. The gravity of the situation only grew stronger with every step he took. When he finally arrived, he wasted no time and barged into the apartment, his senses on high alert.
The sight that greeted him was chilling—a man sprawled on the floor, surrounded by a pool of his own blood. Kaz’s breath caught in his throat as he took in the scene, the implications of what had transpired sinking in. Before he could utter a single word, Y/N emerged from her room, her face pale with a mixture of relief and anguish.
“My father,” Y/N whispered, her voice laced with a complex blend of emotions.
Kaz approached Y/N cautiously, his gaze locked onto her. He could see the fear and exhaustion etched across her features, the toll of the night’s events visible in her eyes. Her face drained of the color it usually had, hands and body slightly trembling. “What happened.”
Kaz listened intently as Y/N recounted the events, her voice filled with a mix of exhaustion and raw emotion. He could sense the weight of her words, the pain that laced every syllable. As she spoke, he noticed the omission—the crucial pieces of information she chose not to share.
“Y/N,” Kaz began gently, his voice laced with concern, “How did he find you.” Y/N hesitated for a moment, she knew. Of course she knew the stupid watch had a tracker, she knew the whisper wasn’t just any drunk asshole, but she couldn’t tell him. “I don’t know Kaz. Maybe I wasn’t careful enough.”
Y/n’s hand extended towards Kaz, holding out the bottle she had found in her father’s jacket. Kaz took the empty bottle from Y/N’s trembling hand, his gloved finger slowly swiping over it. Realization hit him and he knew, he knew he was about to loose his best friend. “I can’t die like this, Kaz. Not because of him.” Kaz’s face pales as he comprehends the gravity of the situation. He knows all too well that this poison means certain death, and he knew what y/n was asking, but the mere thought of being the one to take her life was unbearable.
“I can’t,” Kaz says, his voice filled with desperation. “I can’t do that y/n. Please.” Please. He was begging his brain to think of something else. To find a solution that wouldn’t take her away, not now, not ever.
She understands the pain it causes him, but she needs him, needs his strength and protection more than ever. With a flicker of determination in her eyes, she implores, “Please, Kaz, protect me one last time.”
Her words strike deep into Kaz’s heart, shattering it into pieces. He made a vow years ago to safeguard Y/N, and he never intended to break it, not now, not ever. With a shaky hand, she hands Kaz a dagger, its blade sharp enough to tear through her heart.
Kaz’s mind races, desperately seeking a way to keep her safe, to find an alternative. But the reality of the situation crashes down on him as y/n crumples to her knees, clutching her chest tightly. In that moment, he understands that there are no potions, no saint, no saving her from this fate.
Gently, Kaz sits on the cold floor of the apartment and scoots closer to y/n, carefully cradling her against his chest. He knows she doesn’t want to die at the hands of the man who tormented her for years.
With a heavy heart, he takes the dagger, holding it as delicately as he can, his hands trembling as he positions it on top of her heart. He wishes there was another way, a way to spare her this pain, but in this moment, protecting her means granting her final wish.
“I will always protect you, y/n.” And with a final kiss to her sweaty forehead, the dagger went right through her heart, forever stopping it.

The gang

Side note; y’all y/n isn’t a pick-me I swear, she doesn’t get enough love at home so the gang is her only hope 😭😭
Warnings; , small angst, hurt & comfort, cussing, Fem reader.
Tumblr media
“Hey Johnny, Ponyboy!” You smiled happily at your best friends.
“Hey Y/n.” They both said in sync, nonchalantly.
Your smile faded, before you forced yourself to smile again. “I’m heading down to the nightly double tonight. Any of y’all wanna tag along?” You asked, looking at the whole gang.
They all looked at you. “Sorry, Y/n. me and Johnny are going on a double date with our girls.” Ponyboy smirked proudly, punching Johnny’s shoulder lightly making him smirk as well.
“Us as well.” Soda said, pointing to himself, dally, two-bit, and Steve.
“Darry?” You looked at him with pleading eyes.
“I’ve got a broad too, Y/n. I’ll be busy.” He furrowed his brows.
“Y’all go off and get yourselves girls and then suddenly don’t got time for me??” You frowned. “We’re family, man. That just ain’t fair.”
“We’re sorry Y/n but our girls are important” soda started.
“And I’m not??” Tears welled up. “Whatever. I’m outta here. Let me know when I’m suddenly important to y’all again.” A tear fell, and you ran out of the house.
“She’s alright Ponyboy, Johnny, leave it alone. She’s just being dramatic.” Was the last thing you heard from Dally, making more tears fall.
You ran to the park. It was your comfort place.
You sat on the ground, next to the fountain. You wrapped your arms around your legs and sobbed into your knees.
This has been going on for weeks. Do they just not care about me anymore??
You sat at the fountain crying for hours. Then you realized it was getting dark.
Oh shit the movies gonna start soon.
You got up and wiped your tears. You started walking to the nightly double.
It was cold, so you were shivering.
Once you arrived at the nightly double, you hopped over the fence.
Oh god I really am a greaser.
You picked an empty chair, and sat in it to watch the movie.
You felt eyes on you, so your looked around. You caught a few socs staring at you, and you shifted uncomfortably.
I shouldn’tve come here alone.
You focused back on the movie, still on edge. You decided to keep your guard up just in case.
A little later, and the movie was about to end. You thought of just sneaking off early, and decided to do it.
You started off by walking, corner eyeing the group of drunk socs that kept eyeing you.
Once you hopped over the fence, you started running as fast as you could to the Curtis house, only going faster when you heard the socs running after you.
“Grease!!” You heard, before you were pushed against the wall of a near by building.
Fucking great. Because I really needed this right now.
One blonde soc pulled out a blade, whilst the others held you against the wall.
“Get off of me!!” You yelled, trying to wiggle out of there grip.
“No mercy for greasers, especially when they’re alone.” The blonde soc smirked.
Your eyes welled up with tears, not just because you were sad but because you were angry. Angry at the gang for letting you go out by yourself and replacing you.
“Please…” you whispered, as tears fell.
You started screaming as loud as you could, in hopes for someone to hear you.
“Shut her the fuck up!” The blonde soc whisper yelled.
A brunette soc shoved a cloth in your mouth.
The blonde soc lifted up your shirt so the side of your stomach was out.
He placed a blade against it, the cold contact making you shiver.
“Greasers deserve to be hurt. Greasers don’t even deserve to be alive.” The blonde soc widened his eyes, making him look insane as he slashed the side of your stomach. Blood immediately started pouring out of it.
You screamed into the cloth as loud as you can.
He pulled your shirt down, making you cry out from the uncomfortable injury being irritated.
He put the blade against your neck, accidentally slicing it in the process. He pulled it back, so it wasn’t in contact of your skin, and mimicked the motion you’d use to slit someone’s throat.
You shook your head furiously, trying to get everyone away from you.
The blonde soc nodded at the others, and they threw you to the ground.
They all took turns, kicking you.
You curled up into yourself and blocked your head for safety.
One last kick— it was definitely the hardest.
You sobbed out, and held that spot. There would be bruises all over you, but this one would definitely be the biggest. You’re probably gonna be so sore tomorrow.
The socs scattered once they were done with you, and you got up.
You were so weak that you could hardly stand, but you managed to start walk— limping to the Curtis house.
As soon as you saw the familiar fence, you tried to go faster. You realized your nose was leaking, and quickly figured out it was blood.
Probably from when they threw me across the fucking ground.
You opened the fence door and walked up to the front door, quickly realized the gang just got back home.
You opened the door, and invited yourself in. You took a deep breath and wiped the blood off your face, most of it just smudging.
“Hey guys.” You smiled, the smile not reaching your eyes.
“Y/n… what the fuck happened??” Dally asked, anger clear in his tone.
“I dunno. Ask the socs that beat my ass. Oh wait. I’m probably just being dramatic, right?” You shrugged, sarcasm present in your sentence as you hinted at the earlier conversation. Dally’s eyes widened in realization.
Tears welled up in your eyes, as you clutched your side. The one where you got sliced with a blade. It was still bleeding, and you were getting lightheaded.
You pulled your hands back, and they were now coated with crimson red.
You looked at the gang, and they all looked serious.
“Yknow what?” You said, about to pass out, “This is all your fault. If you weren’t all so occupied with excluding me in everything, I never would’ve went out by myself. And you can’t say I should’ve asked you to come with, because I did! This is all your guys’ fault!!” You started crying, collapsing on the floor in embarrassment. You felt so defeated.
“Y/n…” Johnny started. “We’re really really sorry.” He frowned.
“It’s fine, Johnny. I guess I’m just being sensitive. I get you guys have girls and I appreciate you treating them well. I guess I just felt a little replaced, because nobody even wanted to hang out with me anymore. And you wouldn’t even bring me along when you were all going out.” You sighed, wrapping your arms around your knees.
“No, Y/n. You’re our girl. We’re family, and we’d never wanna purposefully make you feel upset.” Dally frowned. “And I’m sorry ‘bout what I said. I didn’t think you’d hear it.”
“Oh it’s alright, Dally I know you didn’t mean it.” You wiped your tears, and took a deep breath. You got up slowly, groaning and bending over when you felt a sharp pain in your side.
“Y/n? Are you alright??” Johnny asked, concern plastered on his features.
“I-I don’t know…” you got light headed.
You felt your wound become wet, and realized it started bleeding again.
You touched it, and pulled you hand back. It was covered in blood.
“Did they pull a blade out on ya’, y/n?” Soda asked. You nodded gingerly, slowly lifting up your shirt to show the gash located on your side.
The gangs eyes widened. “That’s really bad, Y/n. Let’s treat it.” Ponyboy frowned, while soda lead you to the bathroom, the rest of the gang following to watch, or hand out outside of the bathroom waiting for you.
You sat on the counter, wincing while soda cleaned your wound.
“Hey, y/n?” Johnny spoke up.
“Yes, Johnny?” You looked at him.
“Im really sorry. Im sorry for not going with you. This wouldn’t have happened if I went with you..” Johnny looked at the floor.
“Johnny, it’s alright. I forgive you all. It’s not your fault anyways, I was being stupid. I shoulda just waited till’ you all got back.” You shrugged, smiling at all the boys. They smiled back.
“I love you guys.”
“We love you too, y/n”

Tumblr media
“Red, Hey Red I’m talking to ya” Dallas called out to the redhead Soc who had previously acted as if the brunette hadn’t existed before she made a sharp turn to face his direction
They were all at the drive-in which Dally had invited you to after telling you blatantly that if you had paid a quarter to get in instead of hopping the fence like a ‘normal person’ he’d gut you like a fish which you had responded with a roll of your eyes and hanging up in the delinquents face
“What do you want hood?” Cherry harshly questioned while Dally barely cracked a smirk it was something about getting under people’s skin that just made him feel content but getting under yours to see you eyebrows scrunched and your nose shoot up made him feel absolute euphoria
“I need a favor” He responded his NewYork accent running deep with a mischievous gleam in his eye and he couldn’t figure out if the redness from the girls face was from the fact she couldn’t stand him or she couldn’t hate him but he could care less either way
“What makes you think I would help you” She scoffed shaking her head at the Greaser who looked down at the girl in pure amusement
“Because.. I’ll leave you alone if you do” Dally began to pull a cigarette from out his pocket closing the box as soon as he opened it cursing to himself at his sparking lighter
“We both know that’s not true Winston” The red head scoffed in anything but amusement rolling her eyes for the seemingly the hundredth time In a ten minute time frame the two teen’s stared at each other for a moment before Dally shrugged his shoulders he was stubborn Darry always said that’s mostly why you two bumped heads so much but in the end you couldn’t stay away from each other
“Fine, You’re real lucky I feel nice today… Now what do you want”
☆☆☆☆☆
“Hey Pone, What’s up JohnnyCakes” You greeted the two greasers who greeted you softly Pony giving you a wave while Johnny gave you a small smile that you had felt special to see
You had sat unknowingly where the delinquent previously had closest to the isle way hands fiddling with the extra fabric in the inside of your pockets while you subconsciously looked around for the six foot leather wearing hood
“So, Where’s Winston?” Johnny and Ponyboy both shot each other knowing looks before looking at the empty seat In front of them next to brunette Soc Marcia
“Think he ran of to the bathroom” Ponyboy answered while you nodded your head in acknowledgment leaning back in Dally’s your seat not noticing the brunette less than five feet away pointing at you with a red head practically attached to his hip
You were all laughing at something stupid one of the main characters said that caused a bud light to get thrown in his face by a offended teen before you could hear low chuckles and heavy foot steps approaching taking a small glance back you were expecting to see a couple who had a little too much to drink or started to forget they were in a public area
What you didn’t expect to see was Dallas Winston with the sociest’ of soc Cherry Valance with her hands resting on his clothed chest while staring up at him with the most dreamy look she could muster while he looked down at her with a small smirk on his face
When Johnny and Pony were no longer getting any reaction from you they couldn’t help but turn to your direction following your eyes that eventually trailed to Dallas and Cheryl. Johnny shifted in seat while Pony softly grimaced at the sight
You had rolled your eyes so hard that if Darry were here he would fuss about them getting caught in the back of your head before you fixed your eyes back on the projector screen
Pony noticed how your leg started to bounce up and down and he remembered his mother saying something along the lines of ‘once that leg gets to bouncing you can’t keep her still for long’ He didn’t know what she meant at first but now he couldn’t understand it any better than he already did
“Hope we didn’t miss too much” Dally and Cherry walked hand in hand up to you all her head leaning on his shoulder while his arm wrapped around her waist while she giggled turning her face into the crook of the hoods neck at his underlying tone the both of you shared glances Dally giving you a fixed nod while you ignored his existence completely
Eventually the pair sat directly behind You, Pony, and Johnny and in less than five minutes they decided to make out seemingly as over obnoxious as possible you started to fiddle with your pockets again your finger tips brushed against the cool metal of your switch blade
Soc’s. That’s one of the main reasons you had the sharp thing it made up at least 70% of the reason and here Dally was after he swore up and down to whoever he could get to listen that he would rather die than go with a Soc his statement seemed invalid, especially with his tongue down her throat
The more you thought about the more you got upset, angry even why would Dally even invite you if he was going to make out with some broad in front of your face and not spare you the time of day You could’ve sat at home in your most comfortable attire and watched your own damn movie but you were here. With the constant sound of sharing saliva in your ear
“You like that hmm?” It was more like a statement than a question while Cherry giggled in a high pitched tone that could make your ears ring before you abruptly stood from your seat the back of your knees pushing your chair back while grabbing your bag and throwing it over your shoulder
“I’ll see you around Pone, Johnnycake” You muttered while the two younger boys gave you an apologetic look or wave before turning around giving the meanest stare they could muster watching Dally’s eyes following your storming steps before he began to follow you while Pony whispered shouted to leave you alone
You were exiting the gate as you felt a presence behind you and you weren’t dumb you knew it was either Dallas or Soc but there were a handful of the West side rich kids and you weren’t looking to get jumped and Dally was to busy with his tongue down some broads throat to even notice your absence
Turning your body abruptly with your switchblade that you pointed directly at the jugular of the Person you’ve came to recognize as Dally mocking fear with his hands up in fake surrender
“What are you gonna cut me Y/l/n” He questioned when you didn’t bring retrieve your knife from his neck while you couldn’t help but roll your eyes before clipping the knife back in its place as you began to walk away
“You know man, you should really stop with silent treatment thing gettin’ kinda old” He followed behind you he knew he was testing your nerves testing how long it would be before you snapped
Dally has at least seen everyone in his life snap at him once and you had been running with him since you nine and you haven’t yet it was almost like he was making it his life’s mission to make you loose it, to make you loose your shit at him at least one time
“Leave me alone Winston” You muttered picking up the pace in your step the DX lit up sign kissing your face along with the occasional street light
“Cmon’ Y/l/n just stay another ho-”
“No Dallas I won’t stay another hour! I’m not going to sit here and watch you shove your tongue down some broads throat CHERRY VALANCE NO LESS! I’m going home.”
Dally’s eyes went wide for a split second he were surprised but how surprised could you be when you finally woke the sleeping bear it was still processing in his brain but Dallas wasn’t new when it came to the topic of jealousy and right now he’d say that’s where you were
This time when you began to start walking Dally grabbed your arm softly putting himself in front of your view of the empty streets while the two of your stared at each other you felt tears pricking at your waterline before you stubbornly wiped them away and then the brunette began to realize just how far he went
“Let me make it up to you” He’d finally broke the silence that loomed over both of you he couldn’t have let you go home with the thought he didn’t care because if he was being honest with himself and pushed away the stubbornness that voided his brain you and Johnny would be tying in the number one spot on the very short list of things he gave a damn about
“Dallas I’m not in a mood to go to the dingo” You muttered but Dally noticed you didn’t make a move to keep walking your trail
“No, no, I mean let me make it up to you actually. Cmon doll you can be mad at me all you want just.. just let me make ya’ feel good hmm?” Dally continued once you shook your head maneuvering his hands to your hips
“Bucks is a five minute walk from here.. let me show you how sorry I am” There was a Moment of silence that passed while the two of you started at each other, comfortable silence at that and that was something rare with Dally before you eventually nodded and it wasn’t your first time seeing a genuine smile from Dallas far from it but it still didn’t fail make you warm inside and you suddenly very grateful for Telusa’s dark streets before Dally began to pull you into his side before walking down the abandoned streets
★★★★★

Dally rolled his tongue against your clit as you came again with another sob coming over the sides of his face that rolled down to his chest that was already soaked from your flowing juices while the brunette muttered praises into your cunt
“Please Dal I can’t- I can’t do it I’m done” You sobbed with tears flowing down your cheeks
“You know how to make it stop Doll” Was Dally’s simple response This was at least your fith orgasm or sixth he couldn’t remember he was to happily lost in your count to keep count lapping his tongue around your swollen Bead as your hips buckled deeper into his face
You were hanging by a thread on the peak of another orgasm while his fingers rubbed small circles on your clit you couldn’t begin to verbally explain how overworked and sensitive you were
You know what you needed to do to give your cunt a break all you had to do was say that you accepted his apology but you hadn’t and Dally was willing to go all night until you did
You whined breaking Into another orgasm thrusting your hips upward your thighs squeezing his head while you drip down his chin and he could have a mustache of how you continually dripped down his mouth
You begin to let out a sigh of relief as Dallas started to kiss up your abdomen before beginning to leave scattered marks against your neck and chest while it begins to morph Into a whine as he replaced his tongue with his fingers while you let out a gasp He plunged the sound with his mouth and you tasted yourself on his tongue
For at least an hour Dallas seemingly had a endless amount of determination and stamina to ruin you and you had officially lost track of how long it’d been and how many times you had cum you’d lost track at eight
“Fuck! O-okay Dal I forgive you please” You sobbed into his neck while you hips and legs stuttered
“Cum one more time and I’ll stop. Just one more time doll, you can do it sweetheart” You whined nodding in agreement you were at your peak and beyond high Dally felt you cunt squeeze against his fingers while you came with a loud cry
“You did so good for me doll, So good” Dally praised pushing the hair that stuck to your forehead out of your face tracing shapes against your hip bone while pulling you into his side
While you lied on his shoulder Dally realized he could’ve lost you today and that somewhere in his stubborn brain he would have to realize that he could at any second
Dallas Winston wasn’t perfect but he always had a way of getting on your good side

drunken love affair
summary | college frat wedding
pairing | frat boy!james potter x fem!reader
warning | fluff, drinking, everyone is drunk, james is drunk and in love
word count | 2.2k
Joining a frat was not James’s first thought when he started university, let alone becoming frat president. Always making sure to put his studies first, members of the frat noticed how disconnected James had become from everyone.
Into his freshman year, second semester was when he had met you. It was 7:55 and James was still half asleep, not having enough time to get some coffee or any caffeine for that matter before leaving for his first class of the day.
James wasn’t a morning person, but the 8am class was the only offering and he needed to take the class.
Blinking his eyes rapidly to wake himself up, you could probably still see the sleep marks on his face and his bedhead was evident. So when you had sat down next to him, James was not prepared.
Hearing shuffling next to him, James looked over to see the most beautiful girl on campus. First of all, he couldn’t believe how put together you were for it being so early, and how you smelled like peaches. James stared linger, surprisingly looking because you hadn’t looked his away.
He tore his gaze away from you when the professor started the lecture, introducing them before asking everyone to turn to a neighbor and introduce themselves.
“Hi.” Hearing your melodic voice, James smiled softly, turning towards you, “I’m Y/n, first year.”
“James.” He replied groggily, his morning voice still evident, “Also a first year.”
Walking into the house, each of the pledges greeting you immediately. You always giggled at the antics of the pledges, the boys desperate to join and were willing to do anything. James and the rest of the brothers were not cruel like some of the other frats on campus, there were bad things here and there but you remembered waking up to over 30 text messages on your birthday, one from each of the pledges.
Saying hello to the rest of the brothers, you made your way up to James’s room, knocking on the door before entering.
Frowning, you noticed how James was in the same spot he was in when you had left earlier that morning for your class.
“James, did you go to class today?” It was into the evening, the sun starting to set soon. As spring came, the days became longer and you were sure that James was probably sitting at his desk for at least 8 hours.
“No, I need to finish this report.” He muttered towards you, barely sparing you a glance. You knew there wasn’t anything you could do to pull him away from his work. Sighing to yourself, you set down your stuff, pressing a kiss to his temple before heading back downstairs.
Sirius could see the defeated look on your face when you went into the kitchen, starting to make him something to eat knowing he probably didn’t eat the entire day.
“You alright there Y/n/n?” Sirius questioned.
“Yeah, I’m fine, just worried about James.” You whispered, leaning against the counter, “He’s overworking himself, and you know how he gets it, I just need to find something to get him out of his head.”
Saying nothing more, you left with a plate heading back upstairs leaving Sirius in the kitchen. Keeping your words in his head, it was like the lights in his head switched on.
Running like a maniac around the house, all the brothers and pledges not even sparing a glance to him, a normal occurrence.
Remus being the social chair had been a running joke because of how anti-social he looked when you first met him.
“I have…an idea.” Sirius held onto Remus’s bedroom door frame, doubled down, the other hand on his knee as he caught his breath. “We should have a wedding.”
Remus’s eyes widened, “Sirius we’ve only been together for 6 months, it’s-”
“Not for us.” Sirius interrupted, “For James and Y/n.”
“I don’t think either of them want that either.” Remus answered.
“Not like a real wedding, well yes a wedding but James has been in a funk and we haven’t held a social in a while, invite the other frats and sororities and fake marry James and Y/n.”
Remus just sat with the thought for the moment, before he wanted to protest, Sirius beat him to it.
“Don’t say no, I know you think it is a good idea.” Sirius defended himself. Before Remus could even answer his boyfriend, Sirius had already left the room.
Sirius didn’t bring the idea up to you, hoping it would be a surprise so when James ‘proposed’, you’d give a real reaction.
Finally taking time away from his work, James thought the timing was perfect because of your anniversary that was coming up, he wanted to make it special. Luckily going to school in the city, he was surrounded by higher end jewelry stores.
James spent days trying to find you the perfect ring. It wasn’t just some fake wedding ring he was looking for, but a promise ring. James knew from the moment he met you that he never wanted to let you go.
After looking for almost a week now, James was defeated, he had lost hope and along with that had gone to almost every shop within a 5 mile radius.
Finishing up with class and heading into the city for lunch, James was trying to come up with some idea of what to do when he walked past it.
He froze on the street, the people around him a little annoyed that he didn’t keep going. He stared into the window of the shop, looking at the ring on display. Going into the shop, he didn’t spare any more time before buying the ring.
The velvet box was in his pocket when he arrived back at the house, sending out a text to Sirius to get enough roses for each pledge to have one.
The brothers and pledges worked the rest of the afternoon until you arrived, helping James with his proposal.
Getting out of the lab, it was well past your dinner time, you were sore from standing for hours, working with lab partners who were not making it any easier. You wanted to see James, eat dinner and go to bed.
Upon entering the house, you felt something off. The house looked cleaner and smelled nice, and though the main lights were never turned on, the color of the lights were different.
Turning the corner towards the main part of the house, you were met with a tunnel of pledges.
“For you.” The first one said, offering you the rose. From there each pledge handed you a rose as you continued towards the main living room.
Soon as the pledges ended, it turned into brothers, the ones you were closest with, ending with Remus and Sirius handing you a rose.
Turning back to the main living room, you noticed how the lights were dimmed and there were candles everywhere, and James standing in the middle.
“Jamie, what is this?” You smiled, the bouquet of roses still in your hand.
“I’ve been busy lately and Sirius thought we needed something for a social event, and then what better than a wedding.” James laughed. You stared at your boyfriend in shock as he got down on one knee.
He just laughed quietly to himself before looking back up at you, “Will you marry me?”
“Of course you numb nuts.” You laughed getting down on your knees with him, letting him slide the ring onto your ringer, before kissing him.
All the boys cheered, as James wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you to the ground. Shrieking, you tightened your arms around James as he kissed you again.
“We’re getting married.” You smiled, resting your forehead against his.
“Yes we are.”
-
Dressed in white surrounded by girls from other sororities with all sorts of drinks everywhere. The entire house was plastered, the brothers making sure you and James don’t see each other until the ceremony.
“Shot!” Marlene yelled out, passing around shooters to everyone before handing the last one to you, “To the bride!”
The rest of the girls echoed their words, just you smiled at the antics of her before drinking. Your face scrunched up at the taste, knowing you weren’t drunk enough to be taking shots.
“Oh isn’t this exciting.” Dorcas expressed. Her and Marlene had deemed themselves as your ‘bridesmaids’, trying to make it seem as real as possible.
“You ready Y/n/n?” Sirius peeked his head inside. The rest of the girls scrambled out of the room while Marlene helped you with the veil while Dorcas was getting out a stain from your dress already.
“Quit it you two.” You gasped, “Everyone here is drunk, no one is going to notice a small stain.”
Gladly accepting Sirius’s hand, you let him guide him out to the backyard. Slipping his hand into his pants pocket he pulled out a flask, offering it towards you.
“To clear your last minute jitters.” He smirked. You just smiled, taking the flask and taking a sip.
Coming outside, you just laughed seeing everyone in the audience practically screaming for you as Sirius walked you down the aisle. Seeing James at the altar who was probably cheering the loudest out of everyone.
Finally reaching him, you grabbed his hand as he helped you up to him. Not being able to contain himself, James’s hands were placed on your cheeks as he pulled you towards him.
“Not yet!” Remus rolled his eyes, pulling James away from you. He just pouted, kissing the tip of your nose before pulling away and reaching for your hands.
“Alright alright,” Remus yelled out, his voice going over everyone else's, “We are gathered here today for the union of James Potter and Y/n L/n.”
You and James drowned out Remus’s voice as the two of you looked at each other. As much as this was fake, you could imagine the two of you actually getting married.
“If there is anyone who believes that these two shouldn’t be together, speak now or forever hold your peace.” Remus spoke.
Just as one of pledges went to object, something Sirius pushed him to do for a laugh, James glared down at the pledge.
“Parker, you better not say a single word.” James yelled. The pledge nodded, before looking back down.
Smiling, you covered your hand over your mouth to conceal your laugh.
“Well then, by the power invested in me, I pronounce the two of you husband and wife, you can now kiss your bride.”
Wrapping his arms around your waist, James pulled you down, dipping you down as he kissed you. Wrapping your arms around his neck to stabilize yourself, you pushed him closer towards you.
Pulling you back up, James smiled, fixing your hair and kissing you once more.
Dragging you down the aisle, he smiled with the rest of his brothers as he brought you back inside the house.
You just stood in the kitchen he maneuvered around, grabbing two champagne glasses and a bottle of champagne you didn’t know he even had.
“For the bride.” James offered you a glass. Clinking your glass against his, you took a sip.
“We’re married.” You whispered, smiling, knowing the moment was going to be ruined in a mere seconds.
“Yes we are.” James kissed your forehead.
“Let’s get drinking!” Sirius yelled coming back inside. You just smiled, pecking his lips before joining everyone else.
Music was blasting through the speakers, the social now just turning into a party. You and James were together the entire night, just matching each other with drinks, but having a higher tolerance than James, you weren’t as drunk as him.
“Hello, hello.” James grabbed the microphone from the dj booth, “I’d like to make an announcement.
Thank you to everyone who came tonight to witness a beautiful moment between me and Y/n, I got to marry the love of my life tonight and even though it wasn’t real, it was real to me.”
Though he was drunk, you could hear the sincerity in his voice, just smiling softly at his drunken antics.
“And have a drink, and enjoy the night.” He finished out his speech. All the brothers cheered for him as he left the dj booth and returned his way back to you.
“Hello love.” He smiled, pulling you into him, your cheek squished against his.
“Jamie,” You giggled, “you’re drunk.
“In love.” He retorted. You just shook your head, wrapping your arms around him to keep him stabilized.
“Alright husband, let’s get you some water.” You pulled him into the kitchen, leaning him against the counter.
Turning away from him, you didn’t notice the look James was giving you, his eyes full of love, a smile on his face.
“What?” You asked, seeing him looking at you.
“You are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen, and you’re all mine.” He smiled, taking the glass of water from you. Smiling, you kissed his cheek, staying in his arms.
“Yeah?” You asked.
“Of course.” He drunkenly babbled, “Gonna be with you forever and ever.”
“Forever and ever.”
