The potatoes were also used to see how well you'll do with marriage. There were many other little magic traditions for this eve, and lots had to do with marriage! People were intense about previewing their husbands/wives in the diabolical mists of the future.

The Paricutin Volcano and the Ruins of the Sanctuary of the Lord of Miracles. San Juan Parangaricutiro, Michoacan, Mexico. In the 1940s San Juan Parangaricutiro was consumed by lava, until it was completely buried, leaving only part of the old Sanctuary of the Lord of Miracles standing.

En los 40s San Juan Parangaricutiro fue consumido por la lava, hasta quedar completamente sepultado, quedando únicamente en pie parte del antiguo Santuario del Señor de los Milagros.
