hey! today it was a good day and i was able to appreciate even the little things. i woke up early and i completed my skincare routine🧚‍♀️

uni things

i didn't study infectious diseases today because I will dedicate the whole next week to it. also i'm so happy to do my internship in pediatrics and tomorrow i'll see the kids again and i'll discuss with the professor about my thesis there. i don't know if i'll be able to become a pediatrician in the future but at the momente it is my only source of motivation, maybe i can do it 🩺

Language things

MANDARIN CHINESE: i continued with my Superchinese app lesson. today I've learned some vocab about simple activities (书，看，电影，做) and the grammar 想 whic means want to. my writing is still bad but ill try to improve it 🇨🇳

KOREAN: the clip from the seventeen's blog in Budapest seems endless lol. jokes aside, i focused on the various forms of 것 같다 (present, past and future tenses) and I practiced them with my own example sentences. also I found out new usages of the verb 보다 to express past experiences and to recommend to try something. I also found out how to say i burned my tongue while i was tasting the food (literally what happened to me yesterday !!) 맛을 보다가 혀를 데었어요. I share my really disorganized notes but I like them in that way🇰🇷

i didn't practice any japanese today, i just played some game of shiritori and kanji quiz on the renshuu app 🇯🇵

now im going to shower and semi-dress up to go out with my friend, it was a good day!

21.01.24// Day 10 of 30 days of coding

Extremely productive day today!!! I completed chapter 3 of Data Structures and Algorithms that I had been planning to finish for a very long time. I also wrote up my resume for applying to summer internships.

Today was Eureka day. I found two proofs: one technical and another more intuitive for stirlings approximation and similarly for the proof that Fibonacci numbers grow exponentially.

today I don't want to be perceived at all. i overslept, didn't do my skincare routine, cried a lot, barely ate, disappointed at least three members of my family and had an heated argument with my father. i always start with the best intentions believe me but it takes a minimum trigger to screw up the whole thing, and unfortunately i'm not a resilient person, i'll try to work it out. the good thing is that i didn't write a resolution list for 2023 so i didn't fail yeeee. jokes aside, these are few things i did today:

hello, i’m deeya.

i have started this studyblr to document my academic journey to become a chartered accountant one day. i hope you support me, and we build a lovely community xx

i’m seventeen years old and i graduated from high school a few months ago. i have decided to pursue chartered accountancy along with bcom or bcom hons (still not sure).

college will start in fall, and currently i’ll spend my summer working to complete ca foundation.

fav shows: anne with an e, derry girls, suits, supernatural, vampire diaries, brooklyn 99, bojack horseman, stranger things, umbrella academy, gravity falls, and so many more.

fav movies: dead poets society (comfort movie), little women, any 2000s bollywood, any coming-of-age film and anything marvel and star wars!!

fav artists: hozier, lorde, lana del rey, taylor swift, ethel cain, mitski and the cranberries. (i’ll listen to anything, i swear)

fav books: the secret history, the picture of dorian gray, all rick riordan books, the hunger games, a good girl’s guide to murder, the bell jar, harry potter series, the shadowhunter chronicles.

fav writers/poets: dostoyvesky, sylvia plath!!(i love her), oscar wilde, jane austen, mary shelley, and franz kafka.

other fun facts:

i am a big reader, well used to be, but i now i don’t have enough time for it (shameful i know)

i am also an aspiring writer! i am currently working on two novels and i even have an writersgram (shush i’m not disclosing it yet)

i love stories about history, greek mythology, hindu mythology and everything about those.

i speak three languages but i want to learn atleast seven.

i had a huge dark academia phase, and i seriously love greek and latin so much.

i love fangirling over everything & have like 1089211 obsessions that i go crazy about.

i have so many random hobbies i can’t even mention them all (knitting, baking, art, gardening…)

i want to make a short film all by myself and i’m learning more about filmatography.

i am a literature, classics, history girl at my core but i don’t know why i have chosen to study finance, law, business and accounts instead??

my dream is to move out of my hometown (probably to london, it’s my fave city) and buy a little house and have 11 cats.

this is a late post because I was away from home for the holidays and I didn't really have the time or good enough internet to update you guys, but here we are!!! thank you to everyone who tagged me in cute games during this time (i will be doing them only next year tho hehe) and especially to @chaotic-diaries-of-yours-truely and @winryrockbellwannabe who sent in really comforting asks during this time <3 you guys are my favourites. (I will answer them soon I promise! I've just been swamped 😭)

I went to my hometown (it's not so much my hometown as it is my native place) and got to meet a lot of family friends and relatives!! It was a lot of fun!! I had a great time!! 📺 Shows this week ↳ My Love Mix-Up JP ✅ ↳ Cherry Magic TH 🔽 (can I just say that I love this adaptation wayyy more than I expected. I really like that it is not trying to be a replica of the JP version and instead focusing on the same themes in a different light) ↳ Last Twilight 🔽 ↳ I also kind of started Trillion Game (meguro ren the man you are)

and we're finally done!! this was my first challenge after setting up my studyblr and I am so happy that I made so many wonderful friends on here who have been checking in on me and supporting me through the course of these 150 days. Even if you're just sharing these posts or liking them, it has really motivated me to do better and keep going. And you guys, who have also been working hard to meet your goals, y'all inspire me day in and day out, I really wouldn't be here if it wasn't for this wonderful studyblr community <3

I initially started this series in july and it was only supposed to be for 100 days, but now, after several days skipped in between, and the 100 days updated to 150, and constantly changing goals, we're finally here. At the end. And despite all the modifications, I've only really met 50% of the goals I set for myself. But that being said, i'm proud of myself for making it through. I tend to struggle with consistency a lot, but I'm happy that I still tried my best to be regular with posting. I'm also happy that I was kind to myself through the duration of these 150 days- that I didn't get too rigid with the structure and I let myself have off days or club several days in a post together. At the end of the day, it wasn't supposed to feel too pressurizing or like a chore, and I think I succeeded in that. I also learnt a lot about planning, and I've also in general come to accept the truth that goal setting is a dynamic process and goals and due dates will change over time and that is okay. So yeah. I felt really challenged throughout this series, but that being said, I'm never doing this again 😭. May next year bring new challenges hehe
