Review:

A small town paranormal shifter romance between the new alpha of a pack and the new teacher in town. When Nova accepts a job as a teacher in the small mountain town of Jasper, Co, she's leaving behind her entire life in NYC. Silas is the newly appointed leader of the wolf pack... that is barely hanging on due to the previous alpha's debts. Silas is convinced he's too busy to find a mate and that his first priority is to get his pack out of debt...but when he runs into the new girl in town he knows she's the one... except he's fighting it as much as he can. Already off to a rocky first meeting, Nova is not impressed by Silas and wants nothing to do with his rude self... but the town has other plans with the scheming of many pack members... Silas and Nova find themselves running into each other and possibly falling for one another. The only problem is that Silas is a wolf and Nova is a human... and the only way to make their bond work is if he turns her into a wolf too.... welp this just got complicated. This is a paranormal shifter romance... that just unfortunately didn't work for me. It just felt so modern/ in today's voice that it felt kind of off. I didn't really care for the romance and despite the premise which I would normally eat up, the actual execution of the story felt a bit lacking. I unfortunately didn't care for it but I do think if you like wattpad stories/ AO3 stories... this might be right up your lane.

Now available as a digitally narrated audio book on Google Books! I waffled a lot about digital audio narration, but I decided to do it as a stop-gap measure until I can afford to hire real voice actors to do my books.

It’s pretty decent audio narration, and also, it’s cheaper than a human narrated audio book. I also listened to the whole thing to check for and fix weird hiccups in pronunciation!

I’m planning to get it up on spotify and other audiobook retailers soon, too. I'll keep you posted!
