Lilith, come here…
I want your teeth. Not your softness. Not your myth rewritten. Come sit in my mouth. Come live in between my eyes. Come back to my spine and weld steel into my vertebrae.

What Is Sigil Magic? 🕯
A sigil is a symbol charged with your intention.
It’s magic through design — visual spellwork that speaks to your subconscious.
How to Create a Sigil
1. Write your intention clearly
Example: “I am protected”
2. Remove repeating letters
→ I A M P R O T E C D
3. Rearrange the remaining letters into a symbol
Let it flow naturally. Use curves, lines, or blend letters together.
4. Charge it
Focus energy into the sigil using breath, fire, moonlight, dance, etc.
Feel it activate.
How to Use It
• Draw it on your skin
• Hide it under your pillow
• Burn it to release
• Carve it into candles
• Sew it into clothing
• Tuck it in your wallet
✨ Sigils are quiet spells — small, powerful, and deeply personal.

We just finished painting the cover of our 4th book of shadows! We've been using this Persian Grove Journal by Peter Pauper Press pretty much since we've started our witchcraft practice. -Aaron

Shadow sigils are an incredibly powerful way to enhance your magical practice, especially when you’re working with protection or banishing spells. The ritual of carving symbols into black candles has been a staple of witchcraft for centuries, as black candles represent the protective and transformative powers of the shadow. When you carve sigils into a black candle, you are adding an extra layer of intention and focus to your magic.
Black candles are typically associated with banishing, protection, and releasing negative energy, so this practice works wonderfully when you want to remove unwanted influences or safeguard yourself and your loved ones from harm. The sigil you carve onto the candle can represent whatever you wish to focus on—be it personal protection, releasing fear, or creating a barrier against negative people or situations.
Start by choosing your sigil—whether it’s a simple symbol for protection or a more complex sigil for banishment. Focus on your intent as you carve, channeling your energy and will into the creation of the symbol. Once you’ve carved your sigil into the candle, light it while focusing on your magical purpose. As the candle burns down, visualize your desires being manifest and the protection sealing itself around you.
This ritual can be customized to fit any need, so get creative with your sigil designs. Remember, the more focused your intent, the stronger your spell will be. 🔮🖤
