"Yes, it was," he responded flatly, "All communications must be carefully monitored here, to prevent infiltration of enemy forces."

"This was a letter addressed to me from one of my ladies at court," Sakura protested, though she attempted to temper her indignation and proceeded calmly, "Surely some exceptions could be made for the sake of my privacy."

"Surely not," the Hokage scoffed, "One can never be too cautious when it comes to the safety of the nation."

"Then am I to assume any correspondence sent by me will be subjected to the same scrutiny?" She had uttered her inquiry wryly, but the Hokage regarded her with the same severity he seemed to with each encounter between them.

"Indeed. You will come to learn that the security of Konoha is my foremost priority," the beginnings of a sneer overtook his thin lips as he said, "I daresay if your father had taken the same precautions, then perhaps he could have succeeded in protecting the empire."

"How dare you!" Sakura spat, "My father is a great man and a better ruler than you could ever hope to be!"

The Hokage huffed and shook his head as he looked down at her.

"Then how is it you came to find yourself in my dominion?"

It has been 7 days since my first intake of serious mass. I haven’t gained any weight, if anything I lost a pound. It took about 1-2 days after for my appetite to kick back in. I’m more hungrier now throughout the day. I used to eat 3 meals a day, now it has become noon and then for dinner, and finally we’re back on the regular schedule! Waiting for my appetite to kick in is always the worst. But I’m happy my stomach has opened back up and ready to eat. 🥴

I worked on the design of another character in the game. I have to clarify that I say "design" very loosely because of my limited options in the built-in character generator for RPG Maker MV. I've found a few bundles here and there that have given me a few more options but I'm unable to make nearly as many facial expressions as I'd like to for the characters. My major concern for this is the more key characters I introduce into Wayfarers, the more recycled and repetitive some of their features will start to look. But that's something I'll have to worry about later.
