The fact that this episode even exists, and so soon after I'm no Angel. Dean couldn't stay away for long. And it wasn't even about Cas being useful for a case, he was completely human, Dean just missed him and wanted to see his friend.

And Cas needed to know that, that he still had a place in Dean's life, even without his powers. That he could stay, that he didn't have to be useful, he just had to be there. Of course neither of them tell the other this, so they part ways guilty & hurt 💀
