"Let Go and Let Flow" encapsulates the essence of this transformative act – the willingness to release our grip on the familiar and trust in the unfolding of life's mysterious currents. It is a philosophy rooted in courage, faith, and the belief that when we surrender control, we open ourselves to boundless possibilities.

At its core, making a leap of faith is about stepping into the unknown with unwavering belief in ourselves and the universe. It is about silencing the doubts that whisper in the recesses of our minds and choosing instead to listen to the quiet voice of intuition that guides us towards our true path.

This was my last painting from 2019, which I mostly created during my “Art n Medicine Retreat” at @katari.ayahuasca.center in the rainforest of Peru. The title of the piece is “Surrender to the Flow” which is an important lesson the medicine always gives me, in middle of it’s intense process of activation. This message was also an important one to be able to effectively surf through 2020. It’s crazy how much my life has changed in the half year since then. Sometimes it’s hard to know when it’s a time to fight for what you want and a time to simply surrender and allow the universe to do with you as it will. The Buddha reminds us that the root of suffering is desire. It’s natural to want something and even to love, but you can’t force a certain destiny which presents too much resistance. Sometimes you just got to loosen your grip, let go and allow what is meant to be. If we trust in the divine, all will be blessings, no matter the expectations.
