Twisted Wonderland: English Voice Actors I Hear Whenever I Play this App!

I finally had time to make another video! What better way than to get my thoughts out about the potential English VAs who could voice these disasters. That, and the anime poster dropped as well. Either way, I thought this would be a good time to show off who I hear when I play this game.

OROPHER; Né durant les années des arbres, il fut l'un des Iathrim de la cour de Thingol et Melian. Il passa sa jeunesse à Doriath où il épousa Arthanïs, la mère de Thranduil. En 750 du second âge, il devient le roi du royaume des bois, le grand royaume des elfes sylvain de la forêt noir. Il perdit la vie durant la guerre de la dernière Alliance contre Sauron.

ARTHANÏS; Née durant les années des arbres, elle était l'une des dames de compagnie de la reine Maïa Melian à Doriath. Elle était connue pour ses savoirs en magie que lui avait transmis Melian. Elle épousa Oropher et eut une fils Thranduil. Elle perdit la vie pendant le saccage de Menegroth. Homonyme de Galadriel.

THRANDUIL; Né au cours du premier âge à Doriath, il est le fils d'Oropher et Arthanïs. Après la mort de son père, il devient roi du royaume des bois aux côtés de son épouse Evranï, avec qui il aura un fils Legolas. Son caractère se noircit au décès d'Evranï, il n'a d'ailleurs jamais vraiment surmonté sa perte.

EVRANÏ; Née peu de temps avant la chute de Gondolin, elle fait partie des rares survivants à s'être exilés aux bouches du Sirion. Elle abandonna les exilés et prit la route vers Doriath, peu avant sa chute. Elle y rencontra Thranduil qu'elle épousa. Elle devient à ses côtés, reine du royaume des bois et eut un fils, Legolas. Guerrière notable, elle perd la vie pendant une bataille à Gundabad.

LEGOLAS; Né durant le Second Âge, il est le fils de Thranduil et Evranï, prince du Royaume des bois. Il passe sa jeunesse avec Thranduil, attristé dès le plus jeune âge par la mort de sa mère, Evranï. Vêtu de vert et de marrons, il est un guerrier expert au maniement de l'arc, connu pour ses exploits durant la quête de l'anneau. A la fin de sa vie, il part pour Valinor en emmenant Gimli avec lui.

tl;dr : guy who's a supporting character in his own story suffers a minor existential crisis in deciding between (a) wanting to do his own thing and (b) fulfilling the role he was quite literally created to play. unfortunately, he's made this everyone else's problem.

this is subject to change if needed to fit with e2, but i imagined the yoon family to run a silicon mining business that skyrocketed in no small part due to eunseok's father marrying into a family that manufactures semiconductors.

eunseok's father . . . now there's a real schemer. everything he did was designed to gain control of the family company, and eunseok was no exception. eunseok has grown up acutely aware of this, and is completely normal and unaffected as a result.

eunseok wasn't always a menace!! eunseok always had a predilection for mischief, but genuinely tried to be the perfect heir as a child — though he soon realized that nothing he did really mattered. if he did everything he was supposed to do, fine. that was the minimum expectation. if he acted out, the consequences would just be swept away like the trouble never happened. yoon eunseok had a very particular role to fulfill, you see, and something like proper parenting wasn't going to get in the way of eunseok's father's plan to take over the family company.

and so a monster was born.

2013 (+ 2016) : invited to the club to terrorize the other initiates. wish i was joking about this one. driven to succeed because (a) he plays to win and this is the sort of environment he thrives in, unfortunately, and (b) as a fuck you to the other initiates in his class. interestingly, the actual benefits of being in the king's club are at most a tertiary motivation to eunseok — i guess one of the weaknesses of never concocting your own schemes is that you aren't great at long-term planning. throws notorious parties. kinda notorious, period — there are rumors that he'll hook up with anyone tall and beautiful, regardless of gender (this is true); that he races mclarens on the weekends (this is false); and that he bribed (true), slept with (false), and physically threatened (technically false) his way to the top end of the class. endlessly ambitious and seemingly insatiable, you might be wondering: what's the point, if eunseok's whole deal is that he'll trot obediently back to daddy's side when the man calls?

well, i'm not saying that it's the painful crash at the end. but i'm not not saying that, either. i don't think eunseok really knows, himself.

2024 : the pawn is put in play; the dog is leashed. placed as an evp somewhere, then named coo upon his father's ascension to ceo/chairman/whatever. appears to have chilled out dramatically, but time will tell whether this is maturity, resignation, or mere suppression. :)))))))

all of this to say: think of the most annoying guy you know. think of a shark in the water. think of a poorly-trained bloodhound let off the leash. think of blood, generally — something slick and thrumming and visceral. if eunseok wants something, he will take it, because honestly? eight times out of ten, the taking is what he really wants, in the end.

13) Pire blorboification !

Allez je vais répondre pour FE3H du coup.

🔥 Hildegarde. Ses stans adorent la qualifier de personnage féminin "gris, fort et complexe". Ils sont pourtant experts dans l'art de la laver plus blanc que blanc. Ils font encore plus fort que le jeu et lui enlèvent toutes ses rares aspérités, la transformant en une pauvre petite fille UwU qui n'a rien fait de mal.

La manière dont je la représente dans ma fic a été beaucoup influencée par ça. Je voulais qu'elle soit vraiment dangereuse, cruelle, violente et monstrueuse. Un truc que ses chevaliers blanc détesteraient.

Le pire étant de savoir que des gens ont été harcelés car ils ont osé mal parler de leur déesse en pixels.

🔥 Lambert. Mon interprétation de Lambert est ultra-minoritaire et peu conventionnelle dans le fandom. Pourtant, je défendrai toujours le fait qu'elle ne contredit pas le canon. On voit peu Lambert dans le jeu, mais on en sait suffisamment pour se rendre compte que c'est un : mauvais roi, mauvais mari, un père négligent et probablement un mauvais ami. J'ai les arguments pour le prouver. Bienvenue à ma soutenance de thèse ahem bref.

Alors je comprends la blorboification de Lambert : il est grand, beau fort, facile de l'imaginer en papa nounours. Mais c'est encore un cas où l'on voit que les gens sont capables de se creuser la tête, de chercher de l'humanité à un personnage masculin à peine développé. Ce qui fait tomber le fameux argument "oui mais si les gens écrivent plus sur les persos masculins c'est parce que les persos masculins sont mieux écrits !!!!!". Mais bien sûr, les personnages féminins qui l'entourent n'ont pas droit à la même chose.

Comme dans la vraie vie les pères sont encensés parce qu'ils font juste le minimum, mais les mères sont soumises à toutes sortes de critiques et c'est toujours la faute des femmes.

La blorboification vient aussi du fait qu'on puisse le shipper avec Rodrigue, ce que je déteste bien entendu. Déjà parce que Rodrigue mérite mieux et ensuite que ça fait passer Rodrigue pour un crétin fini ."oh oui Lambert a risqué une crise diplomatique et donc la stabilité de Faerghus et la vie de son fils en épousant une femme qu'il n'aimait peut-être même pas (merci Nopes) mais c'était kro un bon roi ! Ave Lambert, Domina tecum, Benedictus tu in viribus etc. etc." (j'espère que le latin est bon, j'ai pas vérifié).

Genre c'est quoi ce roi qui met tout le monde en danger pour sa maîtresse du moment ?

🔥Matthias et Miklan et ça vaut pour tous les autres fandoms mais j'aimerais qu'on arrête de racler la fosse sceptique et de chercher de l'humanité/une rédemption pour les pires hommes.

Ce dont Sylvain a besoin, c'est d'être loin de Miklan. Il serait temps que les actions des proches abusifs aient des conséquences. Laissez les persos être légitimement en colère contre ceux qui leur ont fait du mal.

16) Je ne comprends pas pourquoi tant de gens aiment ça (caractérisation, trope, headcanon)

🔥 On va rester dans la lignée du précédent : les épouses troisièmes roues à peine nommées et esquissées et qui ne sont là que pour servir de ventres sur pattes parce qu'il faut donner une descendance au perso du canon. Et évidemment c'est un vrai problème dans le fandom FE3H.

Surtout quand c'est accompagné de situations très violentes comme "mais c'est pas grave, elle était aro-ace" (pour toi c'est pas grave, mais pour moi oui). Parce que le but n'est pas de représenter une situation difficile avec sensibilité. Ce n'est qu'une excuse pour que blorbo 1 et blorbo 2 puissent jouer à tétris sans (trop) de remords. Mais bon, quand je vois les gens se faire des high-fives à eux-mêmes après avoir écrit ça et donné deux traits de personnalité à la femme en question (alors euh bah...elle savait se battre et euh...voilà), je me dis qu'on ne vit pas dans le même monde.

On se croirait au final dans une vieille BD franco belge : les femmes sont en marge. Les seuls trucs intéressants sont liés aux hommes. Elles ne seront jamais le focus et ne sont pas dignes d'amour et d'intérêt. Au pire, elles seront des nuisances qui viennent casser le grand amour éternel ("Noooon Kyphon je ne peux pas rester avec toi car je dois épouser une princesse sortie de nul part". La princesse n'étant même pas nommée et on se fiche de ce qu'elle en pense).

D'autant que dans la vraie vie, les dynasties ne s'effondrent pas parce qu'il n'y a pas d'héritier biologique direct. On trouve des solutions. L'adoption existe. Si vous voulez écrire une relation entre personnes du même sexe, allez-y ! Faites les heureux et épanouis ! Pas besoin de coller une femme troisième roue ! Personne ne vous en voudra si Dimitri n'est pas le descendant direct de Loog ou Felix celui de Kyphon.

🔥Le fait que les personnages masculins aient le droit d'être exceptionnels mais que les personnages féminins doivent à tout prix se plier à des normes étriquées du ""réalisme"". Cessez cette obsession pour les Mary Sue. Beaucoup de vraies personnes seraient des Mary Sues selon ces critères. Ouvrez un livre. Une femme n'est pas une Mary Sue parce qu'elle suit son mari en campagne militaire.

🔥 Les romances où le personnage féminin est naïf/innocent/moins expérimenté dans tous les domaines de la vie que son love interest sombre et torturé. Je préfère quand les deux ont les mêmes aspérités.

17) Il faudrait plus de ce type de fics/art

🔥Plus de fics avec des OCs ! Il faudrait normaliser ça et inonder les fandoms. En ce moment je lis des fics sur Elden Ring et j'adore voir les personnages et les idées de tout le monde. Chaque perso apporte une nouvelle perspective et c'est super chouette.

Pas de reader inserts, non, des vrais OCs bien construits.

🔥Et dans FE3H plus spécifiquement : plus de fics sur Rhéa qui lui sont sympathiques, de contenu sur les Nabatéens, sur le lore du jeu...et sur des couples que j'aime beaucoup mais qui ne sont pas assez représentés comme DeduexByleth ou SylvainxMarianne !

Eltshan and Quan. Another two-in-one cos their music tastes overlap. Doesn't help that they hung out around Sigurd so damn much at the academy, but I promised no lords so we're not talking about him. Despite the overlap, their preferences diverge. Eltshan is big into the Moody Blues and Pink Floyd, which drew some odd looks from his wife, while Quan is head over heels in love with Linda Ronstadt's voice. Stahl [sorry, mod]. Just like in story and gameplay, his classic rock taste is incredibly average. As a result, most of it happens to be big hits with the occasional deep cut here and there in his playlist, but overall it's nothing to write home about. Sylvain. Okay okay, hold up here, let me explain. We all know Sylvain is an EDM party animal through and through, I ain't disputing that. But what about when he gets older? He went through Ashe's record collection post-war, put on side 2 of the Eagles' fourth album because why not, gave it a listen. The first song caught his attention, but after the second song finished, something inside him just... broke. He still loves EDM, but on quiet nights in Gautier, he puts on his own copy of that same Eagles record [Ashe got it for him for his birthday]. Favourite song: Take It to the Limit

Deirdre. There's something to be said about this family and the love they all have for classic rock, it's a bit interesting. True, most of what Deirdre listens to is old school country, but it still counts depending on who you're talking to. Can't go a day without hearing this woman humming a Carpenters or Joni Mitchell song, but it's Loretta Lynn who takes the top spot for her, if only cos her favourite song is the one she and Sigurd danced to at their wedding. Aelfric and Sitri. Yet another two-in-one due to overlapping tastes. A real Sonny and Cher pair when Sitri was still alive, though clearly platonic on her part. Also anyone who looks like Sonny Bono is definitely into some 60s shit, no doubt about it [please tell me I'm not the only one who noticed this]. Some of Aelfric's favourite memories of Sitri involve discussing music with her, including how they both love Sonny and Cher [of course], Jefferson Airplane, the Mamas and the Papas, and Cream, among others. Greil. Another member of the old-enough-to-remember-when-this-was-new club. Where do you think Ike's taste in music came from? Camus/Zeke/Sirius. Don't matter what name he's going by, his taste don't change at all. This guy here, this guy is the real Steely Dan fan in all of Fire Emblem and has been a fan since he first became aware of their existence. He owns all of their albums, all of the Best Of compilations, and copies of every 45 single the group ever put out. He didn't just push the Steely Dan button, he smashed it to pieces. Echidna. Older rock music is pretty much all she listens to, and if it ain't playing, she ain't caring. Nephenee. Like Deirdre, most of what she listens to is country, but unlike Deirdre, it's definitely southern rock. Lynyrd Skynyrd, Atlanta Rhythm Section, and Molly Hatchet are among her favourite groups, but the second .38 Special starts playing on the radio, that volume control is getting dialed up to 11 and you're gonna hear her belting out the lyrics from down the street. Samson. I look at this guy and all I see is "I'm a Foreigner fan". Okay, it's not all I see. He's also into Santana, Meat Loaf, and Eric Clapton, but holy shit the Foreigner vibes are strong with this one. He loves the Agent Provacateur album so much that he needs a replacement for it cos it's starting to warp. Funnily enough though, his favourite song is actually on a different album.
