15. Who is the biggest mama’s boy?

not including lucien, ronan for sure. he was not as smart as his brothers, not as cunning or strategic, even when beron tried to force it out of him. soft for a vanserra boy is much harsher than it is for anyone else, but he managed as close as he could get. amalia stepped in for him more because of this, which made beron disdain ronan more, which drove ronan further and further towards amalia. she took his loss very hard. he was the one glimmer of hope that a child between her and beron could be different, better, good, but in the end, even he died trying to be what beron wanted of him.

oooo by beron specifically makes this interesting. from most to least, i think it goes: emile, eris, carmine, marius / silas, lucien, ronan. (lucien's placement i'm a little iffy about, but i think he got shielded from a lot of things by eris and amalia, definitely more than the other boys.)

carmine !! i think he informs a lot of autumn court fashions over the years and even influences winter court fashions when he's on business there as emissary, especially when it comes to accessories and jewelry. he is a pretty boy, and he is a vanserra, and autumn court designers trip over themselves to get their clothes on his body, because that guarantees their business does well for decades to come. (did i just ... influencer him?) i think eris also dresses immaculately, but he's unwilling to intentionally start trends and often takes the longest to shift his wardrobe to reflect current fashions. he very much course corrects when he dislikes new trends, and soon after there's a revival of whatever it is he wears instead.

The chaos erupted in an instant.

Kodi’s eyes were wide as he darted from the group, panic evident in his movements. He’d been guiding the frog scientists through the wilderness, but that didn’t matter anymore. The moment he stumbled upon the group everything changed.

His hands were shaking as he grabbed his bow. His fingers fumbled with the arrow, and you barely had a second to react.

“No!—” someone shouted, but it was already too late.

You didn’t even have time to think. The arrow shot through the air with a sickening whizz and hit you square in the shoulder before you could even flinch.

Pain exploded in your arm, sharp and blinding, you staggered back, gasping as your legs buckled under you. You barely had time to register what happened before you hit the ground.

The world was spinning, and the pain from the arrow throbbing in your shoulder made everything else fade into a haze.

Shauna was already there before you could even process it. She was kneeling beside you, her hands instantly gripping your body as if she was afraid you’d slip away. Her usual harsh, unbothered expression was nowhere to be found, her face twisted with something else. Fury? Panic? Both.

You couldn’t tell who all was speaking, but you could definitely recognize the fire in her voice when she spoke.

“What the hell did you do?!” she screamed, voice guttural and filled with rage. Her hands were already on your shoulder, but her eyes were glued to the culprit, Kodi.

“You shot her! You fucking shot her!” Shauna’s voice cracked, and there was nothing cold about it now. It was all raw, all furious.

You could barely breathe, the pain in your shoulder like nothing you’d ever felt before. It was enough to make your head spin.

Shauna’s grip was like iron, holding you as though you were the only thing that mattered at that moment. You didn’t know how much time had passed, but everything around you was suddenly distant, muffled. Shauna was leaning over you, her fingers digging into your skin, her face inches from yours.

“Stay with me,” Shauna muttered, her voice low and trembling. “You’re gonna be fine, don’t close your eyes. You hear me? Stay with me.”

You nodded weakly, the sensation of her breath on your skin grounding you, even as the world threatened to pull you under.

Then she pulled back for a second, her hands working quickly to tear off her jacket. She pressed it tightly against your shoulder, trying to staunch the blood flowing from the wound.

But her eyes? They never left your face.

“Get back,” she snarled at some of the others as they rushed to help. “She’s mine. You don’t touch her.”

Her gaze, hot with fury, fixed on the others, who stepped back in immediate obedience.

“Gen, Help her. I don’t care how just do it,” Shauna commanded, her voice hard and sharp, her words laced with a venomous tone. Then, as if she were dealing with something far beneath her, she added in that same deadly tone, “If she dies, you die.”

You could hear the others scramble, Gen making her way over to you. The sound of hurried footsteps faded into the background as Shauna remained focused entirely on you. Her hands were still gripping your arm, her touch rough but warm, and you could feel the tremor in her body as she held herself back.

For a moment, everything felt still. You could barely feel the pain anymore with her so close, her presence like a shield around you.

But that wasn’t enough for Shauna.

She jerked her head up as she heard movement behind her, eyes flicking to Kodi, still standing there, too stunned to move, but not for long.

Without a word, Shauna stood up, her anger pulsing in her movements. The tightness in her shoulders, the clenched fists. Everything about her was poised to hunt, ready to tear someone apart.

“Don’t let her die,” Shauna growled to the others, and before anyone could respond, she was already running towards Kodi, her eyes never leaving him.

You could hear the fury in her voice as she screamed at him. “You think you get to walk away after that?”

The others scrambled after her, while a few stayed behind to help you, but you were only half aware of them now. Shauna was already on the warpath.

You could hear the snap of a twig as she sprinted after him, the sound of her footsteps becoming a distant memory as she followed him into the woods, her fury building with every step.

And you stayed there, clinging to consciousness, with Shauna’s promise hanging in the air: if anyone ever touched you again, they’d have hell to pay.

She’d make sure of it.

you're pretty much right with Bee. this has been the wildest day he's had since forever, he's very much just along for the ride and he's kinda just "this may as well happen :)"-ing through everything. he's also lowkey clinging to the one (1) good new he's gotten from this whole affair for dear life. like. he could freak out about the fact his entire life has been a lie and he's been working himself to death for a tyrant that's betrayed their entire race to their sworn enemies. or he could be happy his new best friend is extra cool now. so. y'know. glass half-full half-empty kinda deal.

on one hand holy crap his friend is a prime that's the coolest fucking shit ever he's friends with someone directly related to megatronus prime-

on the other. this is just one more thing he's been wrong about for cycles. everything he thought was true is turning out to be a lie and even if this isn't a betrayal like sentinel's it's still something he has to accept is not what he thought it was. Orion, his best friend, the person he trusted the most, is not what he thought he was.

and even though Orion didn't know (which... is also a point of contention between them with Dee not being quite able to believe one could forget such a thing even as Orion swears over and over again he had no idea) there's still a divide between them that wasn't there before. now Orion is this almost mythological being directly created by their god for greater things while Dee is just... a miner.

now Orion is a Prime. and Dee has just found out what happens when you trust a so-called Prime.

and he also can't help but wonder, as he remembers all those times Orion ignored what he said and involved him in his crazy schemes with no regard for what he thought about it, if it's just in the nature of Primes to do as they wish without considering what it means for everyone else.

but the real victim here is elita who is experiencing a level of cringe that hasn't been seen in cybertron before nor will be seen again until maybe four million years and a war later during peace negotiations. pray for her.

This is my daughter Hester! She is a string eater- so no strings allowed into the house. She is also a Thief! When she was a kitten (about 1kg) she stole 2kgs of meat, dragged it under a sofa so she could eat it. We literally accused my dad of first leaving it in the shops and second, that he imagined buy the meat 🤣 She later stole my mum's necklace when she went for a shower- her wedding rings were threaded through it as well. Also my mum's gold watch, and a container with gold earrings in it.

When she drinks water it sprinkles up onto her nose and leaves her with fashionable sparkles, or if I give her kisses without realising, a little sip of water that she shares with me 😆

She is currently living with my parents bc I work insane shift hours and she would be very lonely.... no one thinks about how lonely I might be!! I miss her a lot 😢

i mean,, look at him..💀 sure, he's scary and big n buff n whatnot but also he looks like a damn dog with rabies the way he walks around shoulders slouched n saggy n with that impossible frown on his face. (plus his little waddle) and if you catch him on a good day he's even scaries cus hes walking upright like he does when he has those big ass gauntlets on his arms and hes just smuch more imposing and scary😭😭😭 (🤤)

and the way he practically snarls foaming at the mouth at the thought of anyone daring to approach you with any typa romantic intent,,very scary stuff indeed. goosebump inducing.

like he's scary in the way hes intimidating and also he looks like a freak😭 plus he's just soo loud when he feels threatened. like if he thinks someone (god bless their soul for even having the balls big enough to walk up trynna flirt) is trynna start something with you hes all GLARESS. the pressure in the room goes hard and when the person doesnt get the hint he will very much start talking for you. he'll lean over your shoulder where he was walking next you and full on get in ppls faces😭😭
