i've said this before but i think this show was at its best when the opening season disasters set up some themes/storylines that continued on into the season. i think the tsunami arc was so great not just because those eps themselves were high quality, high drama, great effects, wonderful character moments etc., but because of how the eps set up some stuff that lingered for so many characters. for may, for buck, for chris; just to name a few.

the past few seasons we haven't had that. i enjoyed beenado and the plane landing but if you removed that from the season does it affect anything that's happened since?

First of all, thank you so much to the rise community, the reaction to my work has been insane. I've been posting art online since 2017 and I've never gotten this many likes and nice comments n tags. Also recognizing people in the notes because they've liked my stuff before or because I've liked their stuff before is always such a blast, y'all are great :) I still have some plans 'n project I wanna do, but I have been drawing pretty intensly since like February so I will probably take it a bit easier for a bit. Though I do wanna draw at least 1 mermaid this month... we'll see I guess lol Also I have set up a ko-fi... (and I might do some commissions in the future but idk if people are interested so lemme know) Anyways, here's some silly doodles I've made over the span of a few days. These dudes are so much fun to draw in silly situations and interactions. Also I just like drawing in MS Paint, the vibes are so good. It's like a digital version of a sketchbook if that makes sense.

I've seen a lot of people here debating over whether Athena heard Odysseus' pleas for help all throughout those ten years and ignored him until she finally admitted they were friends OR legitimately did not hear him calling for her.

Thus, I'm here to offer my totally unsolicited opinion (as usual lol) and suggest that maybe Athena did the mythological deity equivalent of putting her notifications from Odysseus on do-not-disturb and then promptly forgot about it for a while until she came to terms with the fact that, yes, she and her sad, sopping little rag of a mentee were indeed friends and wow isn't that odd, I haven't heard from him in a while, only to then realize that he's been trying to contact her nonstop for seven years and she just never heard him because of a petty fluff-you decision she made way back when.
