#the silt verses #sister carpenter #brother faulkner #paige duplass #james hayward #not 100% happy with this but I've been working on it for uhh two months and wanted to get it up before the next ep #cannot stress enough this isn't necessarily how i picture these characters but moreso what I can draw LOL #every time I try to conceptualize them it's like trying to look at someone without my glasses #in that i get vague forms etc but nothing concrete #it's weird bc it's like. the more i relisten the less concrete image i have of them /thinks #though I will say i will die on curly haired + freckles faulkner #and I usually picture carpenter with a simple wavy ponytail #also in terms of scars i like the idea of faulkner having a scar on his hand from the glass in the s2 finale #and hayward having a scar on his forehead from hembrey!#also i don't think hayward smokes but i liked how it looked when paired with paige and her alcohol!#also something something he might have tried once to blend in with the other police officers but never took to it #been wanting to draw something for silt verses for forever so!!#edit: added an alt id in the image description!#uploaded this last night and completely forgot to i'm sorry!#pls lmk if it's too long or not really a good description!

#I'm high ranting to my sister about glasses & the costs of them & why I'm thinking of getting two pairs so I have a backup bc I can't drive #without them. she & her husband both have perfect vision. can't even fucking fathom being able to just see #my rx got slightly worse after 5yrs. while reading the chart I realized I misread a letter but the doctor noticed me squinting & immediately #adjusted it. (ill probably finish it one day sfgkjf)#anayway i LOVE my designs for the human font family SM #sans has dwarfism and lets his hair naturally grow out and does nothing to take care of it (it is as soft as silk regardless)#papyrus is JACKED and has so many piercings and tattoos cus YOU KNOW HE WOULD IF HE HAD SKIN!!!! he always ALWAYS has a fresh cut and he-#gives me gender envy ANYWAYs-#gaster has monochromacy (monochromatic color blindness) and two sets of dentures #both his legs were amputated so he uses a wheelchair and he has scars that resemble burn scars and no nose #as well as two facial scars that connect to his eyes and mouth- his skull is also fractured under them #hes always wearing his favorite pair of glasses (that his sons bought him)#he loves tea and knitting so much................ he is a grandma #(visually hes lowkey based on my grandpa hgdfjd)#they are all such doofuses and they love each other so much..... papyrus can carry both of them at the same time and often does #when sans randomly falls asleep in public or when gaster has spent the last 17 hours in the librarby

Went back to Japan Town to pick up the book I ordered last time, and I also got vol 61 of naruto and a sakura figurine

#personal #naruto #naruto shippuden #haruno sakura #also i got two pairs of chopsticks and holders for my mom's house #the sakura box has a pic of the hinata figurine (twin lion fists) on it #i actually almost got that one instead #i was struggling between tlf!hinata sakura and sasuke #but i didn't like how the sasuke figurine's hair looked #ultimately i decided on sakura but i think if i come back again i'll get the hinata #kishimoto might not let sakura kiss girls but i can #also the book i preordered was the 4th databook #but in japanese #it's way smaller than i was expecting tbh #....naruto is gonna end up being the reason i start wearing glasses again huh
