Hello! Welcome to the Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Papa Louie!!

My name is Miles (@sunsetcorvid ) and I am here to offer a tournament of the best Papa Louie character!!!

There are 204 characters in my google doc. A majority of which have flipdeck cards. This post may update before the tournament date with more characters without flipdeck cards. I will randomize pairs and put them against one another. All characters range from each Papa Louie game, and I mean each one.

Only one will remain.

It's been so funny and interesting to me getting into Taylor Swift after already having long been into Stray Kids and kpop in general, so here are some funny parallels I've noticed between the two and/or their fandoms:

When her sobs eventually died out, Rosita wiped her eyes and placed her hands down on the metal surface of the platform. Suddenly, maybe due to tiredness, or to her sense of guilt - or perhaps due to that trauma she hadn't yet learned how to handle - she thought she saw a hand moving closer and coming to rest on hers. Rosita gasped as she recognized the familiar gray fur, and quickly raised her head. Buster was there, sitting down on his knees next to her on the platform, smiling at her. He wasn’t speaking, but he was trying to reassure her with a soft, caring look in his eyes.

(An extract from my fic “Stars still shine”)

While I was still working on the second chapter of my fic, I felt inspired to draw one of the scenes I wrote. Sadly, it took me way too long to finish this minicomic to publish it along with my fict. So here it is, with a post on its own. 

For this scene, I had two main musical inspirations, one of which is “Drops of Jupiter” (Taylor Swift’s version, because she talks about a man instead of a woman like in the original), from which I took the main artistic decision for this comic: instead of going for the usual transparent-glowy look for my little ghost, here he is with “drops of jupiter” (tiny glittery ‘stars’ and blueish reflections) in his fur.

Now, the story arc is officially over. See you soon with happier content!

Sing fanfic - “The mom living next door”

Ever since I read @pinwheelwhirl 's post with her headcanons about Miss Crawly knowing Buster ever since he was a kid, I've been wanting to try my own hand at writing something for these two. And the moment has finally come!

Here’s the fic!

Summary:

“Have you seen Miss Crawly’s brand new eye?” His father asked him one day, after he came back home from school. Their neighbor, in fact, had recently lost an eye, and now she sported a prosthetic one made of glass that gave her a funny derp look. “I did. She looks fun, it reminds me of a pirate.” A teenage Buster replied, smiling. “I want to write a story with a character just like her. And when I’ll have my theater, we’ll stage the show. I’m sure that everyone is going to love it!”

But rather than a character in a show, Karen ended up becoming a pillar to the theater itself, the only other person that knew the building down to its last brick just like he did.

Thank you so much for the kindness and all the likes on my posts so far. I just want to tell you that you are beautiful spectacular rays of Sunshine and that you can achieve anything that you set your mind on. Do not let your fear of the unknown or fear of failure stop you from achieving your dreams. A little about myself to introduce myself to Tumblr: I am a trans ftm self-taught machine learning engineer who has 10 years (11 in May) of Python experience behind my belt. I do not have a formal educational background in machine learning and everything I talk about I research myself (typically using APA citation that I also taught myself). I am in school for Electronics Engineering but that is a different story. As far as programming goes, I learned to code through cybersecurity tutorials, Youtube videos, Moocs, and Codecademy. I also have learned from Datacamp which sparked a huge interest in the capabilities of AI and Machine Learning for me. I have a bit of a troubled background due to having a former issue with opiates (specifically narcotic pain meds and heroin, as well as meth - stimulant and cocaine - stimulant) I guess you could call me an everything addict at the time. I spent 13 years of my life in a really bad place and have struggled with mental health a lot due to being SA when I was growing up by my father and his friends (my siblings got the same treatment..) I also am diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) ADHD, OCD, Depression, Panic Disorder / C-PTSD and social anxiety related, BPD, and Schizo-affective disorder. One of the most life-changing events for me was when I was diagnosed with Huntington's Disease which is an autosomal dominate neurodegenerative genetic disease which my mother passed down to me. I have a CAG of 43. I am married to a woman named Taylor who is a Youtuber and a gamer, she is my partner in crime and my best friend. We have been married 2 months as of writing this post and together for nearly a year now.

We live together with our cats Loki, Bandit, and Thor (Loki is the youngest he is 5 months, Bandit is an old grumpy goober, and Thor is a derp who is Loki's best pal) in Texas. I just wanted to explain all of this that way it will give context to some of my future posts! Thank you so much for your kindness. I am looking forward to growing and learning with all of you!

Summary: 

Medalling with time has a consequence, the consequence of his choice is to be a slave to it until Fate decides he's no fun anymore or he escapes...but does he really want to escape anymore? It's been so long, what would even be the point of going back anymore? Would anyone still remember him? Probably not. No one escapes Fate and lives to tell the tale. Not even a traveller of time.

Chapter Index

Sirens screeched somewhere close by; his eyes shot open, looking around alert. He was met with a familiar purple dullness, not far an inky orb levitated a few feet off the ground. He rushed towards it just in time to see the ship crash into the surface of a planet he couldn’t name before the feed fizzled out.

“Shelby…” a strained scream came from his mouth as he stared blankly at the orb.

No matter how many times he’d watched it happen, how long he’d been doing this, it was always like a part of himself was torn away. This time wasn’t exactly the same, this time, he felt cold, like something had washed over him. I hope Ze is okay back there…I hope his kids weren’t on that ship…the ship. She wouldn’t show me…unless…but why would she give 5up hope like that? She wouldn’t be so cruel as to give him his family back and rip it away right? 

“Sometimes, even I don’t get to know their futures.” her voice echoed in the empty space.

He let go of the orb, looking around, “What do you mean? You control the timelines. You chop and change them at will. You pull me in and out of them like it doesn’t matter. How can you not know what happens?”

“I was not born of the power to alter timelines, only watch, maintain if you will. You should know this, Anthony…you know my name, after all.”

He shook his head, “This doesn’t make any sense. I was the first traveller in centuries as for what they told me, but if you’re here, that was a lie.” 

She laughed, the ground below him tremored softly, almost unbalancing him, “You are. I am not a hopper; I’m an observer. I control this plane of existence barely. I watch over the timelines, only intervening if completely necessary, but I hold no power as to which ones die and which survive. I was merely brought here as an anchor for a young watcher who was learning the ropes.”

The orb in front of him lit up once again, showing the image of a boy with wings protruding from what appeared to be his back cowering in a corner. 

“He ran from his destiny, so they locked him up. I came here to save you all, the things they showed me…they promised.”

The feeling was bittersweet, “You can’t keep running from what your fate holds, it will swallow you whole,” he looked away from the orb, catching a glimpse of his door. 

Fate stayed quiet, seeming to have retreated back to her place, leaving him alone with his thoughts again. Maybe, I wasn’t meant to end up with them, maybe that’s what I’m being shown. It does no good dwelling on dreams and feelings, sometimes you forget to just live. I wonder if Tay is okay, she’s all alone now…we left her alone…this wasn’t supposed to happen. She wasn’t supposed to be there alone. Why didn’t I listen to her? She had to watch me go. She had to help Speedy come here. Now she’s got no one. 

We’re all alone now.

So, if you've never heard of the Web Serial Worm... Be glad.

It's free to read if you want, and has good action scenes, but it's Grimdark to the point of Grim Derp. Its taglines are basically "It got Worse" and "Being Taylor is Suffering", and I could barely read the first chapter of the original stuff, it was so blatantly toxic.

But, if you're a fan of Marvel and Warhammer 40k, then you might enjoy it - and the fanfiction is between tolerable and actually pretty good. Because the world is breaking down, and you've got superpowers, gang warfare, corrupt government, and a teenaged girl trying to make her way through this mess with almost no real allies and a vicious disposition.

Then there's MP3.1415player. he's kinda famous. :}

Particularly for Taylor Varga, a Worm/Luna Varga crossover (the latter was basically a Japanese "Godzilla as the good guy" but unfinished with six episodes), filled with science, trolling, puckish hilarity, and

SCIENCE!!!

Also, is got over 300 chapters, plenty of them lengthy, and a good read to chip at over time.

I'm currently rereading it because it's honestly hilarious and well worth Everything. :}

What really would be not great is if Tumblr starts seeing just how big and common the problem of spam self reblogging is- because spam is a huge drain on their servers- they might end up just approaching Taylor and telling her that her fandom is messing up the service and end up stopping EVERYONE completely. We take for granted that this is a free app and forget that it requires real brick and mortar buildings, employees, and servers that have to handle all this traffic etc. It's another reason why terms of service like those against spam and this one exist:

So this is not an issue of anyone being jealous or people being able to blog how they want to blog, "it's not hurting anyone," as all these claims have been discredited and there are bigger issues at play here. This could literally turn into a "this is why we can't have nice things" situation- we could all lose Tumblr or our ability to tag and/or interact with Taylor because of the spam behavior of some. Tumblr takes issue with it and could already have approached her. How awful and frankly embarrassing would it be for Taylor to have to answer for her fans misbehavior like that? Just more to think about.
