You stared yet again at the reflection in front of you. Tear stains had ruined your makeup, your mascara that claimed to be waterproof was now coating your cheeks until your chin.
You gripped the sink in anger, your knuckles turning white at the force.
A lot of curse words flashed in your mind, but none were strong enough to represent your current state.
How could you be so oblivious? You thought Jake and you had something, something that went beyond just two people who met at a frat party.
You felt it, inside your heart, the way it tickled every time you heard his sweet chuckle leave his lips, seeming like the only light in the darkness of life.
You took a deep breath, trying to gather all the shattered pieces of your heart, laying open there. If that was how it hurt, you sure as hell weren’t going to give anyone else the key to access to it.
“What’s a pretty girl crying in the bathroom for?” A voice snapped you out of your trance. You raised your face and met a pair of known, dark eyes.
“Heeseung.” You breathed out, not even bothering to turn around. That moment almost felt like a deja vù, probably because that same bathroom was where your lips first met Jake’s.
Trying to block out all the memories of that Australian man, you turned around and leaned back on the countertop.
“Glad you still remember my name.” He said, licking his bottom lip, “Found out your prince charming wasn’t as innocent as you thought?”
You frowned at his words “How’d you know?” And Heeseung just chuckled bitterly in response “I invited you to my party in hope of having you for myself.”
His eyes roamed all over your body “Just to find out you were at it with my best friend.” You rolled your eyes. “We just made out, nothing more.”
If you thought Jake was bold, Heeseung was shameless. He was looking at you like you were a gazelle in the lion’s den, eyes scanning your body, probably imagining you without clothes.
“Well, he’s busy now.” You turned around and looked at yourself in the mirror, trying to clean the mascara stains on your face.
“With Karina?” Heeseung nodded at himself, “She was there before you.”
You turned around again, a deeply offended expression painting your features “Excuse me?”
Heeseung smirked, cleaning your cheeks with his own thumbs “You really thought Sim Jake would fall in love with a mediocre girl?” He cooed “Aw, poor you. Jake had always been greedy, he would never settle for someone who isn’t from his own neighbourhood.”
“And why are you telling me this?” You asked warily, not fully believing the words leaving his mouth. You wanted to stay with your impression of the kind and playful Jake. Not the player, not the heartbreaker.
“Because he isn’t worth your tears, pretty.” Heeseung’s voice was husky and hoarse, you couldn’t almost understand his words “But I am, when I’ll fuck you so hard.”
You pushed his chest away, “Disgusting.” But Heeseung only laughed in response, “I was kidding.”
You rolled your eyes and stepped aside of him “I’m going home.” You were almost out of the door when his big hand wrapped around your waist, pulling you flush on his chest.
“Or, I have a better idea.” You raised a brow. “You don’t look like someone who has nice ideas.”
“Just trust me.” He wiggled his brows “I know you’re known for seducing and then leaving.”
You scowled “If that’s my reputation on your side of the town.” His fingers trailed your arm until they reached your shoulder, caressing the bare skin “In my opinion, that’s hot.”
“I don’t remember asking.” You sighed, having heard his flattering already when he was courting you, a couple of weeks before.
“I’m saying, we go downstairs.” Heeseung bit his bottom lip, playing with the strap of your dress. “And we get a taste of each other, just let your mind drift off.” He said, lowering down to whisper in your ear.
You honestly weren’t in the mood to make out with someone, let alone be in a room full of teenagers drunk off their tits— But what could you do better to fix your broken heart?
“I hope you improved your kissing skills.”

If stares could kill, then the ones Jake was giving you as you basically straddled Heeseung in the middle of his living room got you dead a few minutes before.
Your lips were attached, rarely pulling away, just enough to catch your breath while his hands were wrapped around your waist, holding you in place on his laps.
Jake was still with that pretty woman whose name you learnt was Karina. And in fact, she was deadly gorgeous, you almost didn’t blame Jake for leaving you for her. But you were Y/N, nobody should’ve dared to play with your heart that same cruel way Jake did.
“You don’t mind making out with me in front of him?” You asked on Heeseung’s lips, licking his bottom one “Nah,” He cupped the back of your neck, pulling you closer “You weren’t a thing anyways, were you?”
Your heart stopped at his words, because in fact, you and Jake weren’t anything. You had never been, it was foolish of you to even hope for it.
“No, we weren’t.” You replied in a whisper, “Perfect.” Heeseung resumed kissing you, more roughly this time.
Jake needed something stronger than the mild cup of beer in his hand to forget your presence in the room. Smashing his head on the wall seemed like a good option since not only did you attend the party but were also making out with his best friend.
He called it on himself, he knew nothing good would come with playing with you, but he couldn’t erase all that he had done.
Trying to cancel the image of Heeseung with his hands all over you, he turned to the side to give his attention to the raven haired girl beside him “So, when’s your brother coming home from Paris again?”
Karina smiled at the mention “Sunghoon is coming back in two days!” She informed him, “He also wanted to invite you guys over.”
Jake beamed back at his other best friend’s older sister and nodded “That sounds good, I haven’t seen him in one month or so.”
Karina rolled her eyes “Yeah, I came back as soon as work finished but he claimed he wanted to ‘sightsee’ the city before returning here.”
He smiled “Living his best life, I see.” He patted her shoulder, the touch on her exposed skin only made him remember how your body felt when it was wrapped around his, kissing you all over.
He hoped he could have done more, to be with you longer so that he would have experienced having you laid down beneath him, in your whole essence and beauty. He wished he had a chance to do that— But the universe wasn’t on his side.
You hadn’t realised how much fun those rich kids could have. You thought they talked about horses and lake cottages in their free time but they actually were so much more than that!
Or maybe it was whatever Heeseung made you smoke that was altering your thoughts.
You were currently sitting on his laps, your back pressed against his chest as you took a drag out of the joint between your fingers.
You giggled at something one of Heeseung’s friends said, you weren't even sure why you were laughing but it sounded fun.
Heeseung caressed your back, trailing circles on your shoulder as he took a drag from his own joint “Having fun, Y/N?” He asked and you nodded “Much.”
“Mhmh, I bet you are.” He smirked, “First time smoking weed?”
You nodded again “Jake said I looked like I did it daily,” You chuckled “But I never tried.”
“Did he?” He whispered, getting close to your neck, leaving kitten licks “You talk a lot about him.”
“No.” You frowned “I don’t.” Heeseung chuckled and started sucking on your sensitive skin, making you let out a moan.
His big hand went to cover your mouth as he worked on your neck, sucking and biting enough to leave a hickey “You talked about him the whole night, haven't you even realised?”
You widened your eyes at his statement. No, you hadn’t realised, but when his name rolled out of your tongue it just sounded so right.
You just shook your head, unable to reply verbally since his hand was on your lips.
You closed your eyes, trying to block out any thought at the feeling of Heeseung’s lips on your neck and the weed clouding your mind.
“Are you mad?” A strict voice suddenly snapped you out of your state of trance as you felt yourself being ripped away from Heeseung’s grasp.
You opened your eyes just to find a very rather and deeply angry Jake standing in front of you, if he was in a cartoon you’d see his veins pulsing on his forehead.
“He’s Jake!” You exclaimed happily to Heeseung, the effect of the amount of alcohol you drank and the intoxication from weed made you act hyper “I know.” Heeseung replied calmly.
Jake pulled you behind his back “What were you thinking? Making her smoke this shit?”
You frowned “It’s good—“ But Heeseung cut you “Relax man, we were just having fun.”
“This is not having fun.” He took the joint from your hand and threw it to Heeseung “Don’t get her into your addictions.”
Heeseung raised a brow, his expression remaining stoic “She was willing.” Jake snapped back “She’s drunk!”
He took a deep breath and pointed a threatening finger toward Heeseung “Do not pull this ever again.” He stated before taking your hand in his and dragging you out of the party.
Meanwhile, Heeseung smirked as he saw the two of you walk away; Maybe that was when his best friend would finally wake up and realise all the things he was losing.

“Hey!” You exclaimed, trying to pull away from his iron grip “Yunjin is still inside.” Jake let out a small groan “I’ll drive her home later.”
You pulled hard on his hand, making him stop right in front of his crimson car “Let me go.”
Jake’s eyes were full of rage, you were almost scared at their intensity “Are you angry?”
“Yes.” He stated, voice serious “At me?” You asked, your voice was so soft and quiet it made his heart jump out of his ribcage “No, not at you.”
Your eyes were red and bloodshot, your breath heavy “How many did you smoke?” He asked, trying to contain his tone.
You gulped down, lowering your gaze “Two.” Jake nodded and opened the door of his car, letting you in.
“I’m going to kill Heeseung somedays.” He mumbled, walking to the other side and entering the driver seat.
He started the engine and drove in silence, the late hours of the night not as lively as they usually were.
When you reached a stoplight, Jake opened a small bottle of water he had in his car and handed it to you “Drink, I want it all finished before we reach your house.”
You raised a brow, your mind was already puzzled and his actions only added to your confusion “Why?”
“Just listen to me.” He dismissed your question and started driving again while you drank small sips from the bottle.
You soon reached your house, this time Jake parked his car unauthorisedly in front of it, exiting the car to open the door for you.
You looked up at him, your vulnerable state making him want to protect you even more. Damn Heeseung.
“I couldn’t finish it all…” You murmured, showing him only the half-empty bottle of water.
His eyes softened. “That’s ok, at least you drank some.” You smiled up at him and stumbled a little as you tried to reach your house door.
Jake helped you, holding you up with his arms under your armpits “Shoot, Y/N. Why did you drink so much?” He let out a huff, as he was basically supporting all your weight.
You leaned on the wall and handed Jake your purse, not really in the state to open the door.
“What’s the code?” He asked and looked at your door, just to realise there was no code to access inside it, your door still needed a key to be opened.
His stomach dropped, another mental check of how different your lives were “Inside the purse.” You murmured.
Jake nodded and opened your purse, taking out the keys and opening the door, holding it open.
“You’re mad at me?” You asked again, your eyes half-lidded and you could barely hold yourself up— yet you were ever so pretty.
The moonlight shone on you, lighting up your skin, your hair falling down your face, messy but gorgeous. So dishevelled but so pretty.
“No, Y/N. I’m not mad at you.” He repeated, his tone sincere “Then… Then why you ignored me?” You asked, the pout on your lips only making him want to bite on them.
He gave you the purse back and pushed you a little so that you walked in “Go straight to bed, don’t wake your parents up. You don’t want them to see you like this.”
You nodded obediently and Jake caressed your cheek with his thumb before turning around. He stopped right in front of your door and smiled “I’m doing this for you, ma chérie.” And then closed the door.

“Hey man,” Jake greeted Sunghoon as he entered his house, giving him a high five, “Good to see you again.”
“Yeah, glad to see you too.” Sunghoon nodded and closed the door behind his back.
“Am I the last one?” Jake asked, walking to the couch and sitting on it, bouncing a couple of times.
“No,” A wild Jay appeared from the kitchen where he was cooking something for dinner, already busy since late afternoon. “Heeseung texted he’d be late.”
“As always.” Sunghoon rolled his eyes and sat down beside him “I swear, he never changes.”
“Jay told me you will take over your father’s company,” Sunghoon smiled, but it didn’t quite reach his eyes “Congratulations.”
“Yeah.” Jake laughed “Thanks.” Awkward silent filled the room, the only sound being Jay’s pots as he cooked. Sunghoon eyed him up and down, leaning back on the couch and resting his head on his hand “Hadn’t you rebelled to your parents?”
“Rumours fly.” He smiled forcefully “It was just a silly thing. I actually realised I should make them proud after eveything they did for me.”
“And what exactly did they do for you, Jake?” Sunghoon’s voice was low, his gaze piercing.
Jake just cleared his throat and changed the topic “So, how was Paris?” He asked “I know you booked a hotel near the Eiffel Tower. Bet it was awesome.”
Sunghoon tsked “Indeed. I’ll show you the picture if you want.” Jake answered positively when the doorbell rang.
“You get the door, it must be Heeseung.” Sunghoon got up from the sofa and patted his pockets “I’ll search for my phone.”
Jake got up as well and walked to the door, the doorbell rang again and he sighed “Yeah, coming.” He opened it and widened his eyes when he saw another familiar figure beside Heeseung.
He took in the sight of you, wearing comfortable clothes, looking ever so dreamy.
His gaze fixed on the hickey Heeseung made you a couple of days before, now all dark and purplish. He gulped “What is she doing here?”
“I invited her.” Heeseung shrugged, stepping aside Jake and walking inside the house.
You were left with him, staring at each other’s faces, acting as if both of your hearts weren’t pounding “How’s the after effect?”
There was no context but you knew what he meant “Good, I’m a big woman. No joint can kill me.” You replied, walking beside him when no more words were exchanged. Truth to be told the next day you woke up with a throbbing headache, regretting all of your life choices— though the biggest one was the hickey on your neck.
“I thought you didn’t want to hang out on this side of the town.” Jake spoke, his tone sounding mocking. You scowled “Maybe I changed my mind.” You walked faster toward the kitchen where everyone was gathered.
You got to know Jake’s friend group. Aside from Heeseung and him, you had only seen Jay at the last party. You later found out Sunghoon was on a business trip in Paris which was why you hadn’t seen him before, but even if you did he wasn’t the happiest about your presence, so you thought you wouldn’t have been friends.
Jay, on the other end, was sophisticated and kind, the two of them looking ever so the stereotype of rich kids.
Heeseung and Jake were rather normal, they could’ve passed as the kids from your neighbourhood if you didn't know their true identities.
“I brought some snacks.” Sunghoon announced, placing a sachet on the table. He took out all kinds of sweet things, but your eyes lit up at the sight of macaroons.
You had only seen their pictures and let your mind wander at what their taste would be like, but now they were in front of you, so you reached your hand and took one.
“You like ‘em?” Heeseung asked, taking the chocolate flavoured one and eating it “I’ve never tried them.” The whole table fell silent, all the boys stopping in their tracks.
“Never?” Jay questioned and you shook your head “That’s a bummer though, I only bought four for the four of us.” Sunghoon was about to take the vanilla flavoured macaroon out of your hand when Jake slapped it away.
“I don’t like them anyways, she can have mine.” Jay frowned at his friend’s words “You love macar—“ He was shushed by a biscuit placed in his mouth by Jake “I don’t like them.” He repeated.
You bit on the small treat and your eyes formed hearts “It’s so good!” You said, munching on it. And you didn’t know it, but Jake’s heart skipped a beat at the sight of you so happy.
You continued to spend time with them, playfully beefing with Sunghoon as if you weren’t an intruder in his house until they decided to go in the free time room to play billiard.
“But I don’t know how to play billiards.” You pouted, watching all the men gather around the pool table.
“That’s ok, you can just watch.” Sunghoon dismissed you quickly, placing himself in front of you to posionate the balls inside the triangle.
You just scoffed and sat on the kitchen counter, crossing your arms on your chest.
You watched the game develop in front of your eyes, never truly understanding its rules. They were too useless and complicated and you stopped paying attention in the middle.
After what seemed like forever, where you had the time to walk around Sunghoon’s big house three times and even have a chat with his maids — cause apparently, rich kids could even afford maidens — you entered the kitchen again just to see it was empty.
You looked around, checking if anyone was there before following Sunghoon’s previous actions, placing the balls in the triangle to align them.
You didn’t know what they found interesting in billiards, and trying to understand it wasn’t going to get you killed.
You took the cue stick and positioned yourself, copying the boys’ postures.
Something must’ve gone wrong, though, because as you pushed the cue you embarrassingly missed it.
“You are too far with your back.” The same voice that haunted your dreams spoke from behind you, making you flinch.
“Chill, it’s just me.” Jake stated, munching on some chips “Heeseung wondered if you wanted something to eat.”
You smirked, leaning on the table “Heeseung or you?” Jake rolled his eyes but didn’t deny your questioning.
He gulped down his food and stared at you “You want to play pool?”
“I already said I don’t know how to do that.” You repeated, glancing back at the untouched balls “I don’t even understand the rules.”
“Here.” Jake’s accent tickled your ears as he made you turn around with his hands on your hips “Bend just a little.” You didn’t know if his voice was really that low or if he was doing it just to tease you— Whatever was his plan, you were down for it.
“Mh? Like this?” You said with your most innocent voice, bending slightly more on the table, just enough to make your ass touch his front hips.
He let out a faint groan “Yeah.” He tried not to show the effect you had on him and trailed his fingers along your arms until he reached the cue stick in your hands. Goosebumps formed on your skin at the contact.
“Then?” You asked, eager for him to touch you. “Then you place the cue like this.” He shifted your fingers so you could grip it the right way and turned his face, you could feel his breath on your skin and the tip of his nose poking your cheek.
There was also something else poking your ass cheeks, which was why you started moving, briefly. Just to tease him.
“Take the aim.” The combination of his voice and the proximity of your bodies made your mind hazy, making it hard for you to concentrate.
You just let him guide you “And… Shoot.” You pushed the cue between your fingers and finally, all the balls moved around the green table.
One went into the hole and you jumped happily “I did it!” You exclaimed, laughing “You saw?” You asked, turning around.
Jake was staring at you with ever so deep eyes, full of emotions you didn’t quite get but felt inside of you as well “I always see you.”

You weren’t sure why Heeseung invited you to yet another party, or the reason as to why you seemed to be the only girl at a boys hang out, but you weren’t going to complain.
The hotel you guys were staying in was huge, apparently it belonged to Heeseung’s parents and you could have it all for yourself the whole night.
Wearing the best dress you owned you presented yourself at the location beside the raven haired man.
You greeted his friends group and noticed there were many other people, unlike you thought, all partying and dancing together.
It was very different from the ones he usually threw at his house, this one was huge and packed, there was almost no space to go through the crowd.
“And you said I couldn’t bring Yunjin along.” You side eyed Heeseung, earning a shrug. “One girl from the other side is already enough.”
You slapped lightly on his shoulder “Rude.” Heeseung laughed and pushed your back a little. “Go have fun, I have guests to greet.”
Feeling like a mouse surrounded by cats, you made your way through the crowd, trying to ignore the thirsty stares you were receiving. Since that fateful night where you willingly let your heart out for Jake you had become more careful with your possible make outs.
As you turned your face to look at the big pool where people were swimming, you accidentally bumped someone's chest, which made you stumble backwards.
“Sorry,” You murmured, about to walk away when a hand came around your wrist. It wasn’t Jake’s, the one you were used to, it was much rougher and tighter.
You glanced up just to notice a tall guy, probably high judging from his bloodshot eyes and twitching nose. Holy Moly.
That guy lowered to match your height, his hot and smelly breath made your nose scrunch in disgust “Hey, gorgeous.”
Your whole body froze and your heart stopped beating for a few seconds “Uh… Hi.” You laughed awkwardly, trying to remove your hand from his grip.
“You bumped me by mistake?” He asked, getting dangerously close “Or did you want my attention. You didn’t have to pull that act, my attention is all yours now.” His words were so slurred you could barely understand them.
“Actually, it was a mistake.” You said and again tried to pull away from him, but the more you tried the more he got closer.
“Don’t lie.” He whispered and wrapped one arm around your waist. You were trapped, your breath hitching.
“I truly am not.” You pushed his chest away, resulting in him only tightening his grip “Come on… Let’s have fun.”
“She said it was a mistake.” A familiar voice with a thick accent, thicker than usual, commented, placing one hand on the guy’s shoulder.
The guy groaned and raised himself in all his height, turning around in slow motion — or maybe it was just your panicked vision playing tricks — toward Jake.
He stood in front of him, unfazed by how big and tall that guy was as he stared at him with a dark gaze.
“And who are you to interrupt us?” The guy asked, his voice too low for your own likings “Her guy.” Jake said as if it was the most obvious answer, raising a brow.
“So, I suggest you walk the fuck away before I throw one punch on your nose and break it.” You had never seen Jake angry, you had a few fantasies about it, but you would’ve never imagined him being so scary (and hot).
His whole aura was inky, arms crossed on his chest, showing his excessively veiny arms.
That guy was surely drunk but not enough to risk his own life. He raised his hands in a submissive manner and nodded “Alright, sorry man.” Jake tilted his head “It’s not me you have to apologise to.”
He took a moment to comprehend his words “Oh.” He then turned to you and scratched the back of his neck “I’m sorry.” He didn’t wait for your reply and just walked away.
Your eyes then met Jake’s, filled with wrath “I—“ You said but were met by his hand around your wrist, this time your body not repulsing it as that guy’s and he dragged you inside the hotel.
“Jake, let go.” You tried to fight him but he was stronger, dragging you through the corridors until he reached what would’ve been a storage room, full of pillows and sheets supplies “Let go, it hurts.”
Jake loosened his grip “You really have trouble written on your forehead.” He snapped, his breath heavy as he paced around the room “I can’t look away from you that you’re getting yourself into something bad.”
You frowned at his harsh words “That’s not true.” Jake scowled “Is it not? You either get high or almost—“ He couldn’t bring himself to finish his sentence.
“Why do you even care anyways?” You said back, brows knitted “You’re the one who used me.”
Jake stopped in his tracks “Used you?” He got closer to you.
“Yes,” You stepped forward as well. “You just used me, made me think you actually cared about me just to rebel against your parents.”
You gulped, your heart breaking again at the memory “Next thing I know, you’re ignoring me and smiling at a pretty girl.”
“Did you fuck her, Jake?” He was taken aback from your words, placing his hands on your shoulders. You shrugged him off, he still remained in your proximity without touching you.
“I think I lost something here, who was I smiling at?” You clicked your tongue, your hands on your waist as you got frustrated.
“That girl, last Saturday.” You explained “Dark hair, killer body, tall… Come on Jake, just admit it you wanted someone to fuck but I didn’t and so you went with someone else.”
“That’s really not what I did. I would never.” He blinked faintly “That girl, she’s Karina, Sunghoon’s sister.” He then added “I don’t like her, not that way.”
You wanted to scowl at him, but his tone was so serious you found yourself asking “..What?”
“You’re not the problem, Y/N.” Jake said, sighing “It’s me, it’s all my fault.”
You shook your head, confused. “What— Jake, I don’t understand.”
“I shouldn’t have asked you to help me.” He backed up until his back hit the wall, running a frustrated hand in his hair “I exposed you to my parents— I—“
You moved to him, taking his face in your hand “Stop mumbling.” You ordered “Talk to me, what’s wrong?”
Despite the way he treated you in the past week, your touch was still gentle and you worried about him. A spark of hope lit his heart up.
Jake nodded and took a deep breath “My parents… they said that if I didn’t break up with you they’d make yours lose their job. You’d lose your house… I couldn’t do that, Y/N.”
He seemed as if he was slowly loosing his mind. You took in the sight of him, dark circles under his eyes, he looked paler wearing that white shirt. Just what on earth had he been doing?
“They’re powerful, with the amount of money they have they can easily buy your whole neighbourhood and evict you.” He gulped down “So I am preparing to take over the company, to make them happy.”
Your eyes widened at his words, “They threatened you?” You asked, removing your hands from his cheeks to stand properly.
Jake shrugged, “We weren’t together so technically I couldn’t break up with you, but I could stay away if it meant you’d be safe.” He sighed softly, “I told you I’m a bad bet since the first time we met.”
“No,” You shook your head “You aren’t bad, your parents are.”
He scoffed, “And I’m just like them.”
You fisted the collar of his shirt and brought his lips down to yours. He was shocked by your sudden action but he relaxed soon and closed his eyes, kissing you back.
“Say that again and your face will meet my fist.” You breathed out as you pulled away “You don’t get how brave you are? You were about to sacrifice your happiness to save my family… someone you met at a party.”
“You’re not just someone I met at a party.” Jake whispered “In just a couple of days you made my whole life better, you made me realise there’s so much more than what I was used to.”
He placed one hand in your hair, caressing your scalp “I never meant to hurt you, baby.”
Your heart jumped as you heard his whisper, the pet name making your head spin “Later, I want you to explain everything to me everything.” You demanded.
Jake nodded “Everything you want, queen.” Your breath quickened “But for now…” You trailed off and connected your lips again.
You kissed him, roughly and he did it back with the same intensity, having missed the taste of you, the scent of your perfume invading his nostrils, clouding his mind.
“Let me take you home,” He murmured between kisses “In your bedroom.”
You shook your head, stumbling backward and bringing him with you “Can’t wait.”
“You sure about this?” He asked as you got out of the storage room, bodies still tangled “I could be bad, worse than you think.”
You wrapped your arms around his neck and brought him down on you “Then, I wanna find out.”
Jake let out a small groan and resumed kissing you, blindly reaching a doorknob and praying nobody was inside.
He dragged you in and locked the door behind your backs.
Jake pushed you against the wall as he undid the buttons of his shirt while you unbuckled his belt, your lips never leaving each other.
He discarded his shirt and helped you unzip his jeans, throwing all of them somewhere on the floor.
He then removed the straps of your dress, slowly kissing all the way down your neck to your almost exposed chest. He pulled away, enough to look at the now barely-visible hickey Heeseung did.
Jake let out a deep groan “You don’t know how much this drove me insane.” He commented, trailing his thumb over it
“Yeah?” You asked “Were you jealous?”
“I wanted to rip his head off.” He said, kissing you again “Wanted to cover your whole body with hickeys and my marks, just to let him know who you belong to.”
You nodded, “Do it,” You breathed out “Make me yours, Jake.”
He unconsciously bucked his hips to meet yours, his clothed bulge poking your pussy “Fuck baby, you can’t tell me that.” He whispered, attaching his lips on your neck again.
Jake lowered the dress until it rested on your hips, palming your breasts, growling at the feeling.
You gasped when his lips engulfed your nipple, twirling his tongue round it. Your hand went to grasp his hair while the other slowly lowered his boxers until his painful erection was free.
Jake helped you out of your dress and underwear until you were standing in front of each other naked. “I’ll worship your body another time.” He murmured, trailing his fingers down your chest “For now, I just want to fuck you rough.”
You smirked and shook your head, making Jake widen his eyes “You don’t want this? I can stop.”
“No, I want it.” You stated, slowly sinking on your knees “I just need to show you my skills first.”
That was the hottest thing anyone could’ve done to Jake, his cock twitched in front of you. It was huge, veiny and hard, his mushroom tip looking ever so delicious.
“You see, baby? This is what you do to me.” He pumped his shaft, brushing it on your lips.
“Stick out that tongue for me.” You did as told and stuck your tongue out as Jake laid his cock on it, bucking his hips back and forth. The spongy and warm texture already making it leak with precum.
You played with his balls while you took him whole in your mouth, gagging when it hit the back of your throat. The filthy sounds filled the room as he took a hold of your head, fisting your hair in a makeshift ponytail while he thrusted inside your throat.
“So good.” He panted, his head thrown back and brows knitted.
You twirled your tongue around his cock, pumping it with your hands where your lips couldn’t reach “Sucking my cock so well.”
Before you could even register, Jake pulled out and raised you from your armpits, placing you on the bed.
“I need to feel your pussy.” He stated, rubbing your clit with his thumb “Want to use a condom, baby?” He asked, “Just tell me.”
You shook your head, bringing him down onto you in a heated kiss “Fuck me raw.” He moaned in the kiss and fisted his shaft again, gathering your juices, you got so wet even by just giving him a blow.
He slowly inserted himself in you, the stretch causing you to pant. You weren’t a virgin but he was bigger than the ones you had before, so it took a moment for you to get used to it.
Jake’s thrusts were nice and slow at first, his forehead resting on yours “I can’t resist.” He breathed out, giving a deeper thrust “Please, can I move?”
You nodded your head, trying to breathe steadily. Jake raised from you and spread your legs open while he moved inside you. You grasped your tits, palming them while maintaining eye contact with Jake.
“You don’t know how much I wanted this,” He groaned, pulling out just to spit on your hole to fill it again “Pussy so tight can barely move.”
Your hand went down to rub circles on your clit, trying to make it wetter as his thrusts gained speed.
Jake slapped your hand and commanded “Hands around your ankles.” And so you complied.
He leaned down and kissed you sloppily, his hips moving back and forth at a delicious rhythm. You moaned out loud.
Holding your head up to rest his forehead on it, your eyes still locked with the others as your body connected fanatically, Jake twitched inside of you and halted his movements.
“Fuckk, almost came.” He chuckled, pulling out of you.
“Want to last longer than this.” He took your body and turned you around, you raised yourself on your arms and leaned your ass up.
“You like being fucked in doggy, mh?” He spammed your ass “Looking so eager to be fucked dumb, you won’t think about anything but my cock in you.”
Jake pushed himself inside of you again, making you moan out his name “Yes, that’s me.” He groaned “Say it again.”
“Jake.” You gasped, he fisted your hair, making you arch your back while he rutted your body “Oh, Y/N.” He moaned as well.
Putting one hand around your neck, he squeezed it as he threw his own head back, lost in the pleasure your warm walls were giving you.
“Fuck baby, I’m not gonna last long.” He panted, stopping his movements to edge himself “Just fuck me.” You pleaded, frustrated by your own denied orgasm every time he stopped.
“Sorry,” He chuckled, spanking your ass and leaning down to kiss the back of your shoulder “You want to cum?”
You nodded, raising yourself to kiss him passionately as he slowly thrusted inside you “Can you ride me, baby? Pretty please?”
Jake looked so hot, messy bangs sticking to his forehead and heavy breath, you couldn’t do anything but agree to everything he said.
You waited for him to lay down, his back pressed against the headboard of the bed as you straddled him.
You rubbed your wet folds on his hard-on, Jake reached for your tits and squeezed them “Have I ever told you you’re so fucking hot?” He asked.
You chuckled “No, but I already know that.” You winked and raised yourself on your knees, slowly sinking down on his cock.
The stretch was still a little painful, but nothing compared to the pleasure his dick was giving you.
You moved on him, up and down at a slow but deep rhythm, feeling him all as he hit your cervix with each thrust.
Jake moved your hair out of your face, his lips attaching to your boob as if he was a toddler in desperate need of milk.
You moaned, your hands grasping his shoulders as you moved back and forth at a quick speed.
“Oh yes.” He put his hands behind his head and watched as you rode him, your mouth agape, gasping for air while shaky moans escaped your lips “Feels good.”
Your legs started to shake and you could barely keep yourself up as you felt the knot in your stomach tighten “I’ve got you.” Jake noticed and made you lay on his chest, his hands spreading your ass cheeks as he started rutting inside you, his pace so quick you didn’t know it was possible.
Your pussy clenched around his cock, creaming him as you fell apart, your moans loud and whole body shaking.
Jake didn’t stop, he chased his own orgasm which was so close.
“You're just made to please me.” He panted, giving a few more thrusts “You're made to squeeze every drop of cum from my cock.” His eyes rolled back with a low groan as he shot his load, his cock twitching until it emptied in you.
You both stayed there for a while, just trying to steady your breaths and calm your racing hearts.
Jake slowly traced your back with his fingers, a featherlight touch sending shivers all dove your spine.
He pulled out, his cum dripping down from your pussy to your thighs and bedsheets.
Jake helped you sit up and removed a few strands of hair that got stuck to your face “You look gorgeous.” He whispered, earning a smile from you “And you did amazing.”
He cleaned you up and threw the dirty sheets on the floor “I’m sorry for whoever will have to clean them tomorrow.” You commented, grimacing.
“Don’t worry about it,” He soothed, settling himself beside you and holding you on his chest, gently caressing your bare shoulder.
You looked up at him, resting your chin on his shoulder. “You should start making choices for your own happiness, Jake.” You murmured
Jake let out a small sigh “Indeed, I should.” He pressed a kiss on your brow “I want to choose you, not my parents, not anyone else. Only you.” You smiled, “I only want you, too.”
“I’ll find a way to fight my parents, I promise I’ll be stronger this time.” Your eyes softened at his words, you caressed his cheek and he leaned on your palm, melting “Oh Jake, you’re the strongest person I know.” You confessed.
“Really?” He asked, looking like a lost boy, “Really.” You confirmed.
Suddenly, your stomach growled loudly. Jake glanced at his phone he had found in his forgotten jeans and put on the bedside table “It’s late night, ma chérie. You’re hungry?”
You nodded, “I want steak.” Jake snorted at your joke “And I want a burger.” He said back.
“Hanging out with a girl from the other side of the town changed you.” You smirked, nudging his shoulders
“Yeah. For the better.”
THE END.

~
You knew it was wrong to be looking at your best friends mom the way you were. But honestly who could blame you when she looked the way she looked. Wanda was an enigma and she had you in a complete trance whenever you saw her. And luckily for you, you saw her quite often since you were besties with her twin boys. So you always got to see the red headed woman which was a blessing and a curse.
Your crush on Wanda started developing your senior year of high school. Billy and Tommy had just transferred from westview to the small town of green lake in upstate new york. Which is where they met you. And in a matter of days you and the boys were inseparable and did everything together. So when they had invited you over to their house for the first time you happily agreed.
But when you had stepped into the house and saw the woman they called mom your heart nearly stopped. She was beautiful and you almost melted at the sound of her voice when she introduced herself. That day was the start of your crush on Wanda maximoff. And as the time went on and you grew closer with the boys you also grew closer with her.
It was weird at first being close with Wanda but eventually you thought of her as one of you friends. You learned a lot about her, how her husband and the boys father left them a few years ago, she talked to you about her family and where she came from. And for some reason you felt a need to protect her after everything she told her about her past.
That brings us to now. Spring break of your freshman year of college. You went to a little college that was a couple of hours away from from green lake so luckily you were able to go home for the week. Unfortunately you didn’t have any home to go to so the boys told you just to come to theirs and that you’ll stay with them. At first you were a little hesitant because of your crush on their mother but soon agreed due to the lack of places to go.
So once you drove back into town you headed straight for the Maximoff residence. And when you pulled up to the red bricked house your heart started to beat a little faster. You got out of the car and grabbed your bag before walking up the few steps in front of the house.
You waited a few moments after you knocked on the red door. And surprisingly you weren’t met with the sight of Billy or Tommy. It was Wanda who opened the door with her signature bright smile.
“Y/n darling youre back. Oh i missed you darling!” She greeted happily and engulfed you in a tight hug.
“Hi Wanda. I-I missed you too” You said returning the hug with the same amount of passion. Her perfume filled yours senses and damn near brought you to your knees.
“Come in, the boys aren’t home right now they went to their uncles for the night… im assuming they forgot you were coming today” Wanda shook her head at the thought of her boys forgetting about you.
“It’s okay i wont hold it against them….this time” She laughed a little before she grabbed your bag for you and lead you inside.
“Make yourself comfortable and I’ll make you some tea and then we can catch up” Her voice called out to you as she walked into the kitchen. You did as you were told and sat on the comfortable couch and waited for her to return.
A few minutes later Wanda came back into the living room with two mugs in her hand and handed you one before sitting down. She then sat next to you and her thigh brushed against yours causing you to choke a little.
Unbeknownst to you Wanda had a whole plan for the night. She had told the boys to go to Pietros for the night so she could spend time with you. Granted the twins were confused as to why since you were coming into town but all she said was that he needed them for something. So they left for the night and thats when her plan was put in motion.
Wanda has had a little crush on you for a little bit now. She knew it was wrong to be looking at you the way she did but she couldn’t help it. When she had met you a few months after your eighteenth birthday when the boys had introduced you two she was enamored. So she waited, built up the tension for years hoping you’d make a move but you never did. And quite frankly she had enough she needed you and now was the time.
“So how’s college darling?” Wanda asked as she slowly sipped her tea while looking into your eyes.
“It’s okay i took on a bigger class load than i should’ve” You cringed thinking about all the homework you had almost daily.
“Well youre a smart girl darling im sure it’ll get easier as the time goes on” Wandas hand landed on your thigh making your heart speed up and your face heat up from her praise.
“I mean i know i can handle it. But all the work doesn’t leave time for anything other than just that” She nodded in understanding and bit her lip as she listened.
“So you dont have a girlfriend or anything?” Her question caught you off guard and you started coughing on your tea.
“Uh no i have absolutely no luck in that department” You chuckled dryly.
Wanda smiled when you admitted you were single. She scooted a little closer to you and placed her hand on your thigh. “Why is that darling? I’m sure you have plenty of girls falling at your feet” You looked at her hand on your thigh and almost passed away.
“I- uh just dont find anyone that interesting” You said honestly causing the older woman to smirk.
“Well what about me? Do you find me interesting darling?” She asked and you swore she was trying to kill you.
“I find you very interesting Wanda” You choke out as she moves her hand higher. Wanda moves even closer to you and brought her face within inches of yours.
“Wanda… w-what are you doing” Wanda smiled at your question before she crashed her lips into yours. She gave you no time to think as she straddled your lap not breaking the kiss.
You moaned a little in her mouth at the taste of her. She tasted like tea and mint and you couldn’t get enough. Your hands found their way to her hips and you held on tightly almost as if you’d let go shed disappear.
“I need you darling” She husked in your ear. You nodded your head knowing that if you tried to speak your voice would fail you. Wanda smiled and started to kiss down your neck and let her hands find the them of your shirt. She wasted no time in removing your shirt and bra.
“Wanda please” You begged the redhead who smiled and wrapped her lips around one of your nipples. Her other hand went to your other one and started tugging on it making you moan and mewl bin response.
“You sound so pretty malysh” She praised you and your heart couldn’t help but swell at the nickname she gave you in her mother tongue.
“I-I need you Wanda” You continued to beg as your grip on her hips became tighter.
“What do you need baby? What do you need mommy to do” She feigned confusion making you groan a little.
“I need you to fuck me mommy” Wanda was more than pleased with your words and she slowly slid off you body and settled between your thighs on the floor.
Her hands teased the hem of you pants and you threw your head back. She was barely touching you but yet you were reeling. After a few minutes of her kissing your stomach and softly caressing your skin she finally took off your pants. Her fingers ran over your pantie covered pussy making a wet patch grow where you needed her the most.
“Ive wanted to do this for so long pretty girl” She kisses your clothed clit before she slides your panties off leaving you bare in front of her.
“Please” You moan as your hands find their way to her hair. Wanda kisses your inner thigh before she dives in and starts licking your clit.
“Oh my god mommy” You pretty much screech at the contact. The feeling of her warm tongue circling around your clit makes you preen. Wanda moans at the taste of you knowing that she’s now addicted.
“M-More” You plead needing more stimulation. Wanda seems to know exactly what you need and shoves two of her nimble fingers into your aching hole.
“Like that baby?” She asked with a smirk on her face as she hit your g-spot making you mewl.
“J-Just like that mommy oh god” You moan feeling your orgasm building up. It’s in this moment you know that you ruined for any other woman and you will never be able to cum without Wanda again.
“Cum for me babygirl come on give it to mommy” She keeps thrusting her fingers in you hitting all the right spots. Your walls clench around her fingers and your back arches off the couch.
“OH FUCK!” You scream as your orgasm crashes through you. Wanda keeps thrusting at a slow pace helping you ride out your high before she pulls out of you. Once she pulls out she licks her fingers clean and smiles before coming back up to your face.
“You’re amazing malysh” She praised bringing you in for a sloppy kiss.
“Mmm thank you mommy” You respond bashfully feeling another wave of arousal course through you when she leaves a hickey on your neck.
You thread your fingers in her hair and bring her back for another kiss which she gladly reciprocates. The two of you get so lost in each other that you didn’t hear the door open.
“Hey mom we’re ho- OH MY GOD!” Billy and Tommy scream as they enter the living room and see their best friend naked on the couch with their mother on top of her.
“Fuck” You mutter as you try to find your clothes which are scattered across the floor.
“We are just gonna go back to pietros…” Tommy says slowly backing out of the house with Billy in suite not wanting to have this discussion right now or ever.
You and Wanda both look at each other stunned before you both break out in to laughter.
“We should’ve taken it to the bedroom” You say in between giggles. Wanda nods her head giggling not being able to form words. After a few seconds she stands up and picks you up by your thighs and takes you to her room for round two.
~The end~
p.s. i love mommy Wanda.

‘This doesn't change anything,’- Zuko x female!reader
Masterlist <3
An: yeah i wrote this MANY times before i was happy with it, which is why it took ages IM SO SORRY also THANK YOU <333
Summary:
LIghtning bender reader who is Zuko's former BFF now kinda hates him but he's determined to get on her good side.
Warnings: opening up, insulting eachother.
honestly
It was so awkward
You refused to speak to him if it wasn’t strictly professional
The poor boy tried so hard
When he pleased katara but not u he was so sad
He would try to sit next to you by the campfire to eat and you would just dip
He’d have that sad 🙁 look on his face and the gang would be like “it’s okay man.”
ITS NOT OKAY!!! He couldn’t sleep because he missed u so much and seeing u in person was like, taking a toll on him
He was so entranced by you and your little mannerisms. You’d grown so much and gotten cuter since he last saw you (which he didn’t even think was possible). He especially loved when you played with lighting in your fingers
It was like, when someone else did it it was evil and dangerous, but when you did it it was lovely and cozy
You just had that effect on him
The first time you two were able to speak was when you had taken the reigns on Appa to allow the others to rest. He was stargazing when your voice broke him out of a trance.
“You’re a real pain, you know that Zuko?”
He sat up suddenly, looking at you from his spot. You were leaning back, yawning as you stretched on the mammals fur.
“I mean, you come here, barge into this little group, and expect me to be nice to you. Fire nation royals and their audacity.” You said matter-of-factly, your tone so relaxed, completely going against what you were saying.
“I don’t expect that. I just want you to hear me out.”
“I’ve heard you enough,” he recalled moments where he’d rant for hours on hours to you, and you would lend an unwavering open ear, and inviting open arms.
“Yeah,” he replied sadly, sliding down next to you. You scooted over.
“And what if I pushed you?”
“You wouldn’t,”
“Or would I?” You smirked, “but this time instead of a face full of pool water, you’ll pop like a balloon,” the shrubs reminded you of spikes.
“I’m not sure that’s how human bodies work,” he mumbled playfully.
“Oh what? Just because you went to private school?”
“Yn we went to the same school,” you opened your mouth, before shrugging as you couldn’t think of a response.
He rolled his eyes with a smirk, they landed back on you.
You shivered slightly, you were pretty good at your fire bending, but lacked when it came to warmth. Though you can expel a mean red flame, you can’t regulate your body temperature quite right. Smoothly, he put an arm around you, pulling you closer to him.
“What do you think you’re doing?”
“Keeping you warm,” Zuko replied, an intense look on his eyes, contrasting the sweet smile playing on his lips.
“Smooth,” you grinned, your brain going fuzzy, then immediatly frowned. “This doesn’t change anything between us.”
He slumped a fraction, almost missable, but you caught it. The fire bender nodded.
He rested his head back on the fur, looking distantly into the stars. From your angle, Zuko’s jaw was sharp, and his side profile was alluring. You couldn’t help but rest your head on him. Contradicting your previous statement- there was something so entrancing about him. Feeling your stare, he met your eyes, a certain- almost unreadable- look behind his irises.
“Then what would?” He asked quietly.
You paused, thinking for a second. “I don’t know,”
He sighed defeatedly, throwing his head back again. “Understandable,”
You remained silent as a response. He clicked his tongue.
“Do you remember,” Zuko paused, as if trying to find the words. “Do you remember love amongst dragons?”
You grinned, “As if I could forget. Lady Ursa took us every time,” you giggled.
You enjoyed the play and all it’s weird quirks, Zuko however, did not. He would complain, and complain, and complain until you'd shushed him harshly when the main characters would share their kiss. He found you annoying, in a weird, endearing way.
He scrunched his nose, “it wasn’t even a good play,”
“Just say you hate love,”
‘Well then I’d be lying,’ he thought.
“I don’t hate love,”
“Oh sorry hate is a strong word. Despise?”
He snorted, “Not that either,”
“Huh. That would mean the spoiled prince actually loved love.”
“Maybe not love. Mildly enjoy.”
“Isn’t that literally the same thing?”
“Depends, I love fruit tarts, I mildly enjoy fire flakes.”
“Hmm.” You pondered, “I love Appa,” you grinned down at the beast, then back up to Zuko, “I mildly enjoy your company.”
A pink dust rose to his cheeks, that sweet smile from earlier returning to grip onto your heart strings, “I’ll take it.” He said quietly.
“I wonder if they still show the play,” you hummed.
“Well, we’ll find out soon enough,” you were on course to the esteemed ember island estate, and you’d be lying if you said you weren’t excited.
“Well then I wonder if they changed the casting,”
“I doubt anyone would wanna partake in that, the ember island players literally suck so bad,”
“Oh c’mon, didn’t you cry that one time when the characters reunited?”
The boy looked like a deer caught in headlights, he was secretly hoping you’d forgotten about it, “It was a sad moment,” he pouted.
You leaned forward and pinched his cheeks, “Sure it was, wittle zuko can’t handle a little sap,” you giggled.
He swatted your hand away, “you’re a bully,” he scoffed.
“Guess that makes the two of us,” you sighed out.
basically, that was what finally made you two start talking
No, the gang didn’t know, you refused to treat him like a human when they were awake. But you softened up when they were asleep.
Zuko will admit he found it odd, but hey, talking in secret is better than no talking right?
He seemed lighter and more open when he started catching up and reliving childhoods with you
It felt like you were finally letting him into your concrete house, despite him having to force his way in at the beginning.
You were surprised when he opened up to you about things he never has with others, fond memories of his mother, even sometimes with his sister or father.
Despite your hatred for him, you couldn’t help but find yourself entranced by the way he spoke. His voice had a certain lull in it, a rasp accenting his words, the same words he struggled to find.
You yourself found it was easier to speak to him than some others, on nights where you both sat vulnerable, only protection being each other's promises.
You confessed to having a small crush on him as kids, shocked to find it used to be reciprocated.
You reminisced on times where you’d tease Zuko, and the times he’d finally stand up for himself against you
When the moon was highest in the sky, the secrets and such came further to light. He admitted he still felt like a bad guy in the end of the day, in his younger days, Zuko had never been the good guy.
You assured him people change, like the tides, like the weather, like the seasons.
(You refrained from mentioning his hair, it seemed like an inappropriate time to make fun of him)
He expressed to you times where he had travelled with his uncle, all their journeys and detours, and you did the same with your gang trips and adventures.
From the little things like Sokka being covered in Appa’s snot, to larger things like injuries and nightmares
Slowly, you turned from two people who tolerate each-other, to two people who actually really love each other.
Of course, NEVER EVER EVER would you admit that, but it was true.
The unfortunate time for the battle came, you took the road with Sokka, Toph and Suki. Assisting them with your lightning wad no easy task, it was exhausting and exhilarating all at the same time. Usually, you’d limit yourself to 3-4 shots a day, by the 10th minute, you were on 12. Your body was shaking and weak, but you pushed on, even though you knew your life was on the line.
After the long and tedious battle with all those soldiers, the sky turned blue, and you knew it was over, you had won the war.
You stumbled to the group, Sokka’s leg was hurt pretty bad and you didn’t want to take the attention off of him. Each step felt like your body was ablaze, and you held back noises of discomfort.
When you’d finally reached the gang, and exchanged hugs with everyone else, you stopped at Zuko. Mumbled, “I still hate you,” and then engulfed him in a hug so tight - you didn’t even know you were capable of it.
Everyone else was in shock at the sight, they were sure you hated him, but oh well, it’s better than hearing you complain again.
While they conversed, you felt yourself begin to lose consciousness.
You rested your head against him, loosening your grip and your vision went dark.
You were out for about 5 minutes before you regained consciousness. You were still in the same position, except by this time, everyone was looking at you concerned. Katara placed her palm on your forehead.
“I’m ok. Just tired.” You mumbled quietly.
You were suddenly aware of how close you were to the fire bender, immediately moving back and laughing nervously. Almost falling if not for Toph pushing you back to your feet.
You could see him deflate slightly.
“Thanks Zuko,” you punctuated it with a forced laugh.
“Yeah it’s cool,” he nodded, frowning.
As you all walked back to Appa, you found that you and him fell behind the group, walking at nearly the same pace.
“How much lightning did you use?”
“Do you think I was getting burned alive and counting?”
He chuckled, “I guess not, but you seem tired,”
“Doesn’t take a genius to figure that one out,”
He smiled at you, nearing to try to assist you in walking. You quickly put a hand up, smiling at him and his cute little frowny face. He tilted his head to the side.
You slipped your hand into his, immediately feeling his body temperature get knocked up a few notches.
After a few more steps, you looked over to Appa as they climbed. Just as no one was looking, you walked up to him, and gave him a gentle kiss on the lips.
Then took a few steps towards the beast.
“Zuko,” he looked at you from his spot, still dazed, “this still doesn’t change anything between us.”
All the fire bender could do was laugh.
An: HI if u requested im starting soon hopefully <3

Naked HypnoCon 2023
This year, HypnoCon was located in Palm Springs, California. Friday we first gathered at The Toolshed Bar which was incredibly packed with men. Everyone was eventually found and we sat outside for a few drinks as friends and new attendants met. After that, we went to dinner at Grand Central. Then some of the people went to other bars, the rest decided to stay at resort, the El Mirasol Resort, a clothing-optional resort with a hot tub and a couple of pools. I thought I would be self-conscious about it, however THAT quickly went away.
Saturday morning, we met at the LBGT Community Center. And for introductions we gave the name we preferred to be called, how many HypnoCon’s we’ve attended, and if we were a hypnotist, subject, or switch. There were a few new faces. The learning session began at the very beginning, hypnosis 101. From Pre-talk, to Induction, to Deepening, to Suggestion, to Reentry, to Post-talk, each step of a typical hypnosis session for recreational purposes was discussed and demonstrated. Some very good subjects sat in the front of the group and experienced each part firsthand. I did deepening, which included convincers. I ran out of different deepening techniques, so I made a new one – silence.
The group moved on to some of the history of HypnoCon, how it started, and the reason it keeps moving around. From the @gayhypnosis channel in the past, a few names stood out as pillars of that channel. One of those people was Hypnojob (his handle now) AKA EnTranceU (his handle in the @gayhypnosis channel). He talked about those days and moving to newer forms of electronic communication such as Discord and Skype. He does have a Skype Hypnosis Chat Room. I just joined it and it does bring back memories of the @gayhypnosis channel. If you want to explore, first be very interested in hypnosis, and second reach out to @Hypnojob on Skype to request an invitation to the group. Some great questions regarding the typical session and recreational hypnosis in general flew as we concluded, took the “wish you were here” photo, and then went to lunch. Most of us went to Denny’s – this was not a high point.
HypnoCon continued after lunch with an exercise to demonstrate fractionation. People who want to experience fractionation as a subject sat in a circle facing outward. The people that wanted to show fractionation as a hypnotist proceeded to induce trance and then fractionation. Since we had about 30 people, the process took a bit of time, however, there were some people who experienced deep trance. I got to be the subject for a demonstration of the “Yes” induction method. I think I got through seven or eight “yeses” before collapsing into a deep trance and then being brought out of the trance way too quickly! Some toys that hypnotists can use are shown next from pendulums to pocket watches, to a “mind machine” that uses flashing LED lights at specific frequency of flashes to bring trance. Some of the participants played with the toys. We then departed to get ready for dinner, which was at Billy Reeds. Dinner tasted wonderful and we then disbanded for the evening. I personally took more naked time at the hot tub where a couple of fun things happened. First, I got into a staring contest with a fellow hypnotist. I started to wonder who the hypnotist was, until he said, “You are getting very relaxed.”
“Oh, I guess, I’m the subject.” I thought and proceeded to go into a nice deep trance where the water relaxed me even more. The other wonderful thing is that a subject proceeded to be hypnotized by me using a non-verbal induction for the first time. That was quite the ego boost!
The next morning, we ate brunch at Sherman’s Deli. We, and by “we,” I mean most of the people who organized this event, decided to forgo the usual discussion on which city to go next and opted instead for a different approach. Searching cruise vacations, we found the from Boston, a cruise that travels north so that people can watch the foliage turn colors, departs the Sunday of Hypnocon. So, the proposal became that HypnoCon goes to Boston next year, and have the usual Friday and Saturday. On Sunday though, the gathering continues as it does with an informal group setting at the host hotel so that more specialized topics can be discussed and shown in small groups or begin the above-mentioned cruise. The idea was ratified by a general proclamation (nobody complained too loudly), and we then went back to the resort for some small group discussion and generally be laid back and, of course, naked.
Now I come to you dear reader, if you are interested in helping organize the next HypnoCon in Boston, please let me know by emailing me at [email protected]. HypnoCon has an operating budget of zero dollars, assistance in contacting venues for dinners and entertainment, asking people of interest to come to the gathering, and fresh ideas are greatly appreciated!

Love at first bite
-Cuphead’s pov- You would think being a vampire would have awesome perks right? The ability to put anyone into a trance to get what you want or to drink their blood, the otherworldly aura that just draws others to you. Super speed, faster recovery time, ya know the works! But a drawback is being immortal, and the nightlife can kinda get boring after a few years. And you have to relearn things again, like not to go out in the light, but we found a way to get around that. We can’t eat solid foods, well not most we can eat steak if it’s bloody.
But it is still lonely… me and my brother were ‘turned’ on our 27th birthday , we had a party where everyone was invited. It was a lot of fun and we even met someone who was new to the island, just the way she spoke and moved she knew she had mugs and mine’s attention. And with a gesture of her hand we followed her to the back of the cottage and that was where everything turned dark…. The next day we had woken up with pain all over our bodies and we didn’t even know what happened last night but Elder Kettle told us that we were found passed out drunk behind the cottage and were found by Hilda and Cagney. At first we thought that we drank so much that we don’t remember and chalked it up to that.
But as the days went on we noticed things were changing about us…. We couldn't eat solid foods and even if we tried it would just come back up, no matter how much we drank we would always be thirsty. Our hearing and sight improved a lot in the dark but we were almost blind during the day. Soon it got to a point we had to go and see Dr. Kahl and he found that something was in our blood that was making us sick, but thankfully he said he would try and make it something that can help us.
Island a few more days later he did and the medicine worked for a while till he had to run more tests on us. Whatever it was in our blood was changing so much that he couldn't keep up with it.
Getting desperate we went and saw the Devil. No we didn’t fight him or any of the others we just simply asked to see King Dice who then brought us to the Devil when he saw how bad we looked. At first he laughed at our conditions but I guess that was a good thing because he agreed to take us to see his boss.
As soon as the Devil saw us he started to laugh, thinking we were gonna make a deal but when King Dice explained the situation that piqued The Devil’s curiosity he made us sit down and examined us for a bit before he realized what was up with us.
“Seems like you had a run in with one of my workers” he said with a laugh as he walked back to his desk with King Dice at his right. “No duh we ran inta one of your goons!” I yelled and was making my way towards the devil’s desk in what I hoped was a threatening manner but the devil just rolled his eyes and waved his hand. Me and mugs thought that it was to send us away, but two chairs came up from behind us and launched towards the desk till we were only a foot from it. The air in the room felt… different from how it was a moment ago. “Yes, you ran into one of my Contract collectors, but I thought she died centuries ago.“ He said as he leaned back and pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration. “What happened to her?” mugman asked, that surprised me because normally whenever the devil was involved he would wanna run away, but him speaking up like this i can’t help but be proud of him. “Well young mug, she used to work for me when she was only… a hundred years old. She was one of the best people I had before King Dice here” the devil said as King Dice adjusted his bow tie with a bit of a smug look on his face. “But one day she suddenly stopped coming in for work so i sent in some imps to see why she didn’t show up, but all they had to report was that a dress of hers was found on the ground with ash in it and a steak in the chest area, a place where her heart was.” Devil said as he looked at his nails and started to file one of them.
“If she’s dead then she should be here!” I said as I got up, but became dizzy to a point that Mugman had to help me sit back down. “Oh you would think she would be here” devil said as he blew on his nail. “But because creatures like her she doesn’t have a soul.” hearing that shocked mugman and me. “What about us?!”he asked with a squeak. And Devil looked at us. “You two still have your souls but not for long.” he said with a smirk. Making both of us shiver in fear. “Not even i know how this works, but if you don’t cure it you two will be a leech like her, but you will have the perks” he said as he leaned back and smirked at us, curiosity got the better of mugman and he asked. “Perks..?” he asked with a shake in his voice. “Oh yes! Wonderful perks!” Devil said as he leaned forward and laced his fingers together and grinned at us. “The ability to run at high speeds, to see in the dark as if it was day! The power to make anyone do what you want!” Devil said with a grin as he clapped his hands together. “That is only a handful of what you two can do!” he said and leaned back. “But there are some drawbacks, like not being able to go out into the sun, can’t eat solid foods, the thirst for blood will be so overwhelming that you will die if you don’t have it and you will actively hunt for it.” he said as King Dice snickers a bit.
“And you two are lucky, normally creatures like you won’t be able to cross water but somehow those that are turned here are able to.” he said snickering a bit. “But you also have to understand.” he said as he walked over to the chairs we were sitting in and grabbed the top’s of the chairs and spun them around so we were facing him. “Now listen here you blood suckers” he said with a growl in his voice, it legitimately scared mugsy and me. ”you two better research whatever you two are as best as you can because if you don’t find a cure in four years the virus would take over completely killing you both and then making you rise from the dead like the soulless monsters that you two now are.”
The way he said it scared mugsy and me to a point that we screamed and ran to the elevator to go back to the surface. Once there we did as much reading as we could on what vampire myths, legends, stories and lore we can get our hands on, and it was really the first time that I sat down and really started to study… I was scared and so was mugsy… I think him more than me because ya, we fought the devil and won but at least we had a 50/50 chance of surviving, with this… we were not so sure.
It was three months into studying that we realized that we read everything the isle had on vampires, we even went to quadratus for answers but for a being like him, someone who knows everything, he didn’t know much of anything because the creatures would stay away from him.
Our last hope was Chalice, finding her was no easy feat because she moved around so much on the island but when we caught up to her on rugged ridge she was appalled by what happened to us and offered to help in any way she could. And another week went by with her help but it feels like the more we learn the less we know.
We were back at the cottage while elder kettle was out, all around us were research papers and books that we had borrowed from the library. The three of us were tired to a point that we were gonna give up till Chalice spoke up. “Have you tried the mainland?” she asked as she looked at us, making mugman and me laugh. “Ya, let us just grow wings and flap them twenty nine miles to get to the mainland.” I said with a sarcastic tone as I held my arms up before letting them fall. With a huff she sat up and crossed her arms. “Well it could be your only hope, the mainland has more information than here and by the time you get what you need it may be too late.” she said, making us look at one another before rolling off of our backs to our feet. “Alright what’s your plan?” Mugman said with a bit of a sigh.
But chalice had a big grin on her face. “Ok! So we charm the shoes off of the people here, get enough dough so that one of you can get a ticket to the mainland to do the research you need!” she said with a smile and  mugsy and i looked at one another before looking back at her.
“That sounds great but what will happen when one of us gets to the mainland?” Mugman asked and I nodded. “Ya! We don’t have a place to stay there and what if they run into trouble!” I asked as I raised my hands over my head startling her a bit before she smiled at us. “Well whoever goes won’t be alone! I’ll be with ya!” she said with a bit of a dance as she poked her cheek with her finger. Making me groan a bit and mugman cover his face with his hands. but Chalice continued.
“You will act as my manager in my dancing career and in doing so we will have enough cash to get an apartment and pretty much have free rein on things! Like gossip, potential study material!” she said excitedly with jazz hands to boot. Mugman and I looked at one another and sighed, we knew who would be going before we even had to talk about it….. “I’ll help ya pack mugsy.” I said, patting him on the shoulder before we both got up and walked to the rooms to get everything he needed.
It was a week later after Chalice put her plan into motion and everything had gone extremely well, honestly too well for our case but we didn’t question it. The dock was cold in the morning but it was worth it to see my brother off. He nervously tugged at his blue button up shirt that was covered with a zip up hoodie. “What if I can't do this cuphead?” He asked me and I just smiled at him, patted his shoulder and gave his sweater a bit of a tug to help it look neat before I put my hand on his shoulder. “You’re gonna do fine Mugsy. Hell you are going to do better than that!” I said happily.
“You get to explore the mainland and someday come back as a hero!” I said as I wrapped my arm around his shoulders, pulled him tight and waved my hand as if I could see his name in lights. “Not only that after we are both cured we can move to the mainland permanently and see what we can find there!” I said and looked at him, a wide grin now on his face as I smiled back at him. “It will be another adventure we can go on!” I said excitedly, making him laugh a bit.
But soon his laughter died down as he hugged me tight, I could tell he was shaking so I hugged him back just as tight. I knew my red hoodie was gonna be wet from his tears but i didn’t care, i don’t know when would be the last time i will be seeing my brother… We stayed like that till it was time for him to board the ship heading to the mainland but we didn’t let go, just a few more seconds we thought before Chalice had to pull mugman away and onto the ship.
I walked along the doc keeping pace with the ship till it started to gain speed, as it did i ran faster only to stop at the edge for fear of falling into the water, i stayed there waving goodbye like a madman to mugsy and him doing the same till he was just a speck in the distance.
Taking a deep breath I gripped the hoodie sleeve tight in my hand, as a way to tell myself that, yes mug man will be back and we will be able to live normal lives again. Nodding a bit to myself I turned back to the island and made my way back to the cottage. I needed to grab my gear so I could explore the ruins on rugged ridge. But as I turned away I heard the blare of a ship's horn in the distance, stopping for a second. I turned to look towards the sound and saw a new ship was on its way in.
“Sally is likely on that Ship.” I said to myself before turning back to head into the forest. “Sorry Sally for not greeting ya when ya got back, I’ll treat ya to dinner when you’re all settled.” I said mostly to myself.
But for some reason I can’t shake this strange feeling I have but with a shake of my head I ran back home

Night Crawler
I never believed in love at first sight, until I met Adeline. She was the most beautiful person I had ever seen, with eyes that sparkled like stardust and hair that glimmered in the sunlight. From the moment I laid eyes on her, I knew that she was the one for me.
Her name was Adeline, and she was new to our small town. I couldn't believe my luck when I found out that she was going to attend the same high school as me. I made it my mission to get to know her and hopefully, win her heart.
As fate would have it, we were assigned as lab partners in our chemistry class. I saw this as the perfect opportunity to get to know her. We spent hours working on experiments together, talking and laughing, and soon enough, we became inseparable.
We spent every moment we could together, and it wasn't long before our friendship blossomed into something more. We went on countless dates, shared our hopes and dreams, and made promises to always be there for each other. I never felt happier than when I was with Adeline.
But everything changed when Adonis came into our lives. He was a new transfer student from another country, and everyone was immediately drawn to him. He was charming, handsome, and had a mysterious aura about him. Adeline was no exception. She couldn't take her eyes off him, and I started to feel a pang of jealousy every time I saw them together.
One day, Adeline told me that she wanted to take a break from our relationship. She said she needed some space to figure things out. I was heartbroken, but I respected her decision and gave her the space she needed.
As the days went by, Adonis and Adeline grew closer. I couldn't help but feel like I was losing her. I tried to talk to her, to tell her how I felt, but she kept pushing me away. She was infatuated with Adonis, and I could tell that he was using some kind of charm or spell on her.
One day, Adeline invited me to a party at Adonis's house. I went, hoping to talk to her and win her back. But when I arrived, I was greeted with an eerie feeling. The house was old and rundown, and there were strange symbols painted on the walls. The guests were all under some kind of trance, and it seemed like Adonis was the one pulling the strings.
As I looked for Adeline, I stumbled upon a dark room with a door that seemed to be glowing. I couldn't resist the urge to open it and what I saw inside made my blood run cold. Adeline was lying on a bed, her eyes closed, with Adonis standing over her with a strange liquid in his hand.
I could hear him chanting in a language I didn't understand, and as he poured the liquid over her, Adeline's body started to glow. She was transforming into something inhuman, with wings made of stardust and sharp claws instead of hands.
I was frozen in fear, unable to move as Adeline's transformation was complete. Adonis turned to me, a wicked smile on his face, and said, 'Meet the queen of the Night Crawlers, made of stardust and pure evil. And you, my dear, are the sacrifice that will seal her powers.'
Before I could react, Adeline, or the Night Crawler, lunged at me, her razor-sharp claws ready to tear me apart. But in a miracle of fate, Adeline's true feelings for me took over, and she fought against the control of Adonis. As I looked into her eyes, I could see the war between good and evil that was raging within her.
I knew I had to act fast. I grabbed the liquid from Adonis's hand and poured it over Adeline's head, breaking the spell. The transformation reversed, and Adeline was back to her human form, but the struggle had weakened her. Adonis, furious at our escape, started to chant even louder, summoning the other Night Crawlers to finish us off.
But Adeline and I fought together, using all our strength and love for each other to defeat them. We were outnumbered, but our love was stronger. In the end, we were able to banish the Night Crawlers back to where they came from.
Adeline and I were badly injured, but we were alive. We escaped the house, never looking back, and promised to always protect each other, no matter what. We returned to our small town, and though we never spoke of that night again, we knew we shared a special bond, one that could never be broken.
From that day on, the town had a new legend – the Night Crawler's curse was broken, thanks to the love of two teenagers made of stardust. Adeline and I knew that our love was unbreakable and that we were destined to be together. And that was all that mattered.

Our Love
I remember.
Our love. It was addicting.
I remember when we used to walk down the street and everybody would stare at us, thinking we were a dysfunctional pair. And maybe they were right, but you stole my heart the first night I saw you. It was the way you glowed underneath the lights at the party, the way you grabbed everyone’s attention, and the way you let everyone feel so much energy when they were with you, as if you brought the life into them, that made me fall for you.
It was my friend who pressured me to walk up to you. Him and so many others. With all that support how could I say no?
You greeted yourself to me while you laid yourself out on the table, you stared straight into my eyes and I knew you would be the one for me.
The entire night we got to talking. Normally I’m shy but with you around I felt so open, I talked all night long, and you listened to everything I had to say. My heart raced so fast with you around it felt like it was going to explode out of pure ecstasy. With you I’ve felt things I’ve never felt before, with you I’ve seen colors I’ve never seen before, with you my heart pounded so loud I swear it was the beat people were dancing to.
I loved every second of it.
As the night continued, I wanted more of you but when I came back from the bathroom you had disappeared on me. No one knew where you went, you had vanished, and I thought I would never get to see you again. We only spent a small time with each other but I wanted more of you, your charm, your excitement, the way your skin was white but could change colors underneath the neon lights like a chameleon was something I found beautiful. It’s something I was in awe of.
You left my heart open, and my mind scattered.
Our love was unreachable.
When I went back to work the morning after; it felt as if life had numbed. Everything became bland, my gray desk-job became even grayer, which I didn’t know was even possible.
My head twirled around with such rainbow-like colors of thoughts about you that it began leaving me in a trance of future possibilities that prevented me from even typing on my keyboard. My co-workers always said that I became like this whenever something grabbed a hold of my heart.
Last time I was like this it was because of my ex. Her name was Jane; brown hair and green eyes. We met on a business trip, a two day long conference that was to be taken place in San Diego, California. And since me and Jane were the new hires we were forced to go. Thinking back, it wasn’t too awful. The beginning was amazing, so much of each other to learn and explore, but months gone by and the relationship just felt rocky. We just couldn’t connect all too right, and it’s a shame Jane and I didn’t see it soon enough. One of us took it harder than the other.
The office spread quickly of my new mysterious love, and Jane had heard. But she must not have cared. She never spoke to me anymore, didn’t even bother to look in my direction, the only thing she ever expressed to me were tears.
I was always the quietest at the office, I did my work in the corner of the room and I didn’t bother with the peeves around me. I think that’s what Jane liked most about me. I was always kind and tender and quiet.
I wonder if she misses me.
Our love was reunited.
That night I had dressed up for you. Someone had told me you would be at the party again and I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited. Just the thought of you, my heart began to race.
It was the type of party that I didn’t expect you to be at, a big house with lots of older people. My friend invited me, the same one that introduced us; he got us into the party because he said that he knew a guy, that knew a guy, that knew a guy. The owner of the estate was rich, too busy to greet the guests; I followed my friend around as he chatted with everybody else. I had nothing to say.
To be honest, I was getting anxious, waiting for us to meet again. As I stood outside the circle of conversations I glanced around to find you, but you were nowhere to be seen. Seeing it now, you always were good at hiding.
I wandered around the mansion getting lost in hidden rooms and long hallways until I found you in the study room with the owner of the mansion. A tall older man with a white mustache the crept into his nose. You two were chatting and it seemed like you two had known each other for a long time. The owner looked at me with a blank stare and asked if I had met you before. I said that we’ve met. He offered me a seat.
I didn’t bother with the owner, I was focused on you. You didn’t like the sun, you much preferred the night. I don’t blame you, I did too. You also prefer energetic events, the kind that made your heart race and your mind numb, to the point you lost control of your conscious, to the point you became your true self; hatched from the cocoon of your own body. That was something you believed in, and you made me believe in it too. That we all have this little sporadic-jolt of craziness inside us that is trapped inside our bodies begging to be set free. And all you wanted to do was help those who were trapped.
The entire night went on without me even knowing the sun had come up and set back down it was incredible how fast time had gone by the party it felt like it never ended that it didn’t want to end the beat of the heart kept beating and the partygoers kept on pumping; me and the owner and you all became friends I didn’t expect it either but here we were I wish he would leave me and you alone for a minute so we could catch up but he grew attached to me like some gay-lover but it was his house so I just kept a straight head but when he finally had to go to wave the guest goodbye we finally were alone and I let out a laugh that never seemed to end. I don’t think I’ve ever felt like this before. I told you I loved you and when I closed my eyes and opened them again, you were gone—
Our love was special.
I was never a believer at ‘love at first sight.’ But something about you changed my mind, and with you and I finally together it felt like a never ending adrenalin rush straight through the heart.
When you disappeared that night at the mansion, the owner gave me your number so that way you and I could meet again. I was told to wait a couple days to contact you. But I couldn’t help myself, I ended up calling you the very next night. I needed to see you. Your complexion, your energy, your love.
I picked you up in my yellow Volkswagen Beetle. It was a gift from my parents, the car would be the last thing I would ever pick, but I had gotten a new job and the starting pay wasn’t good and my old car got in a bad accident, and it’s been a couple years now and even though it’s an eye sore I can’t help myself but to keep it until it gives up.
People were staring at us, everywhere we went. We got queer eyes and judgmental eyes and eyes that looked the other way. It was mostly because of me though, the way you made me laugh out loud and even talk to strangers. Or maybe it was the both of us together that made them feel uneasy. I guess society didn’t appreciate our sort of relationship. But I didn’t care. Honestly! The way you made me feel so open had people’s eyes constantly leer at us as if we were distracting them from their boring lives. If only you could show them how fun it is to be this alive.
And after a few nights together I can confidently say; I don’t need anyone else in my life. Not a single living soul. You, you, is all I need. Is all I ever need.
Our love will never be broken.
My parent’s, people, coworkers, even Jane have told me I’ve changed.
I know it’s for the better. They all tell me I’ve broken out of my shell, that I’m more talkative, that my energy has increased. They tell me my face brightens the room when I walk in, they can see my smile for miles. They want me around because I bring such good energy now.
It’s crazy to think how much of a shut-in I was before. Just thinking about it gives me such unwelcoming thoughts. Like daggers piercing through my thoughts so violently that it makes me wish I couldn’t produce memories to begin with.
Jane doesn’t like it. But that’s okay, I’m not going to let her get between us so there’s nothing to worry about from her. She was always the clingy type, the type to never let go even when I went to the grocery store. And she was always intruding on my personal life. She would somehow get into my apartment with a key I never gave her, always asking where I was going and who I was going to be with.
I’m much happier with you around.
They tell me what made me change.
I tell them not a what, but a who.
They tell me they’d like to meet you.
But I think they have the wrong idea. I don’t want them to meet you. I want you all to myself. After all, we were made for each other.
I swear, with you in my life it feels like nothing bad will ever happen.
Our love to others is complicated.
I haven’t slept right in a few days, but I think no one can notice. I haven’t been eating right either. But I can’t help it. You’ve been gone for only a couple of days now and it feels like my brain is going to explode without you. It’s only for a couple of days, you’ll be back, but it feels like it’s been years.
Today at the office everyone is getting on my nerves. The click-clacks on everyone’s keyboards are sounding like explosions from a war, and I’m forced to take cover with my head down at my desk with my hands over my ears. But that doesn’t help, I can hear my blood pumping through my ears as if someone was beating their drums right inside me.
I began thumping my knee against the bottom of my desk without pause. A habit that sprung up while you were away. I don’t know why or how it started, suppose I’m just anxious to see you again. Maybe I’m just worried about you being away for so long.
I go to the bathroom when I catch myself biting my nails to nubs.
In the bathroom I find myself shaking but it wasn’t cold at all. And it feels like I have needles poking inside my brain.
One of my coworkers comes in. He’s tall with not much meat on him. He reminds me of a scarecrow.
He tells me he knows what’s been going on.
I shake my head.
He says he knows you. That you’re nothing but trouble.
He’s lying.
He says I should stay away from you.
He’s jealous.
He tells me to get help.
I tell him to go to hell.
He tells me I’ve changed.
I tell him for the better.
He tells me it’s not real love.
I punch him in the face. I get on top of him and start wailing on him like some high schooler that never learned how to fight.
His blood stained my shirt and pants. He breathed slowly, calmly, like he was in a land of dreams. It’s like he didn’t even bother to fight back.
Someone else came in. She said she heard yelling and shouting, and what she saw she couldn’t believe. She saw the blood on my shirt and the bruised coworker on the floor with me on top exhaling like some wild animal.
She cried those tears I’m all too familiar with. She told me I’ve changed.
Our love was changing.
We got an apartment together. I was having trouble finding a new job. But you understood, and you kept by me. This new place is different than my last one. This apartment was so old that it looked like it needed help standing up straight. The rooms were not the best either, there were cracks and chips of paint falling right off, there was the occasional six legged creature scurrying along the floor, and the neighborhood wasn’t great either. I was only able to get this place because of a friend. Once I told him I needed help finding a place he was grateful to lend me a hand. Once we met up he told me I looked different. I told him I get that a lot. The rooms were small, the bedroom was the smallest, but we spent most of the nights on the torn up couch in front of the T.V that we didn’t have. The fan above us never worked either, no matter how many times I tried to fiddle the damn thing I never got it to spin. Moving in this apartment complex was the biggest change for me; it didn’t feel like home, more like a shelter that they put the drug addicts in. But you didn’t mind, and every day you helped me get adjusted to this new type of living. You moved around a lot so you’ve never been able to spend time in one spot to even call home, and admittedly I felt ashamed for this to be called your first one. But this was all temporary. We both knew this. This was just a hurdle for us. To test our relationship. And we made it clear to each other that nothing was going to break our love.
With you around now, it feels like I need more and more of you just to feel something. At first I thought it was because I was losing interest in you, but then I realized this was just another hurdle in our relationship. Trust me. I will always love you, as long as you’re there for me, I’ll be there for you, and maybe somewhere in the future, there will be you and me and a place we can finally call home. A heaven for me and you. And you can be my angel.
Our love was being tested.
No job. The rent is behind. The cracks are starting to leak. The couch has stains on it and is decaying faster than the days that go by. There’s holes and tears caused mostly by me. I can’t help it though because every time you’re away from me I feel like there’s bugs nibbling on my skin and I start clawing at the cushions to make the shaking go away.
I looked in the mirror in the bathroom for the first time. It told me I’ve changed.
My body feels as if it’s eating itself, searching for some kind of nourishment. I feel sick all the time now with no sense of smell to even wake me up when I’ve vomited next to my head on the couch. I feel like death. A walking humanoid of it. I can’t think straight—I heard something out my window. I crack the curtains a little bit, and I feel the sunshine burn my skin. It was nothing, but I find myself checking out the window every three minutes.
But despite all this, you’re still with me. You’re still here to hold me together despite my shattered pieces lying all over the floor. You keep me sane. You keep me going. It’s you that keeps me so alive—hold on, I think I heard something out the window.
Our love.
There’s knocking on the door. Not the type of knocking that shouts authority, but a gentler knocking. A caring knocking. Like a mother knocking on the door to her child’s room when she knows them to be still asleep.
The knocking has been there for a whole hour now. It won’t go away until I open it.
You tell me that I shouldn’t open it. That they’ll eventually leave. But I know this type of knocking, and I know this type of persistence. I hide you in the couch, deep into the cushions where I know no one will find you, I grab string and a needle and lazily sew in the hole.
I open the door and there she stood.
She cried. Like she always did. Like she always does. She told me to come back.
I told her she has the wrong address.
She told me to get help.
I told her the last tenet doesn’t live here anymore.
She told me that she’ll help me.
I told her she doesn’t know what she’s talking about.
She told me to get help before it’s too late.
I told her I have to go.
She told me to come back.
I close the door and when I turn around you weren’t there. I check the bedroom and the bathroom and the kitchen and the living room and the bedroom and the bathroom and the kitchen and the living room and the bedroom and the bathroom and the kitchen and the living room. But you weren’t there. Where did you go? Why did you leave all of a sudden? You didn’t tell me you were leaving so soon. I check the bedroom and the bathroom and the kitchen and the living room
I feel the bugs crawls along my skin, and I try to shake them off. I reach for my phone and quickly dial your number.
What is it?
I need you.
Already? Didn’t I just see you?
Please come back!
Fine. I’ll come back.
That night, we spent so much time together. And I finally felt the nirvana the first time we met. It felt as if the peace of the world had come back to caress the side of my face. Being with you was all I needed. Lying on the floor with you, looking at your pale-snow-white skin, was all I ever needed.
Our love. It’s confusing me.
Everyday I need you. When I’m off my high of being away from you, I need you again. It feels like I can’t be away from you and it’s been so long since I’ve felt any other way.
Since I’ve been . . . myself.
Unshaven. I’m so cold now, I don’t have any body fat left. My sense of smell is gone. Under my eyes are the colors of perfectly picked plums.
My head is scrambled, a gigantic knot that doesn’t even have an end to start to untangle it. This feeling of jumbling commotions of spiraling thoughts-emotions so intertwined I don’t know what to feel or how to. With or without you. I need you. I don’t need you. I love you. I hate you. I want more of you. I can’t have anymore of you. You were the one to change me. I never wanted to change. I felt love. I grew hate. I want you forever and ever. Leave me alone! Where are you? I need you. I never want to see you again, please, leave me alone. I need you. I want my momma. I need you to be by me. I want to lie in my old bed like a kid again. I want you to express me. I want to go home. I want to feel the rush again, like we used to. I want to go to sleep. You’re my angel. You’re the devil. You’re the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me. You’re the worst thing that’s ever happened to me.
But maybe.
Maybe just one more time?
Maybe . . . maybe just one more time.
Our love is fading.
My heart stopped and my eyes froze upward.
And it was the most peace I’ve ever felt. I want to be like this forever, lying on the floor watching the ceiling fan that never moved, move around and around like a merry-go-round. I even hear the music to it too, somewhere so faint that it echoed down the street.
I felt hands grasp around my fingers. Rain fell too. It felt nice streaming down the side of my palm, despite it feeling so hot. I can’t remember the last time it rained like this.
I can’t remember being so free. Like a butterfly that hatched out of it’s cocoon.
I can’t remember life being so bright and so dark around the edges.
You left my heart broken, and my mind shattered.
Our love is gone.
This isn’t for you, but, I’m doing better now. Thank you for caring. I appreciate the support. The flowers and cards, and the meet-and-greets while I was in the hospital bed recovering.
I appreciate the constant watch and love.
Now this is for you; I got my job back, and I moved back with my parent’s. They watch over me, as if I was a kid again. But I’m okay with it, I don’t mind being a kid for a couple more weeks.
I apologized to everyone. They said I didn’t have to. But I did. I felt like I had to. They said it wasn’t my fault. But it was. They asked if I’m doing okay. I said I’m fine now.
They tell me I’ve changed.
The medications I take make me drowsy which leads me to a type of sleep that when I wake up from I feel a type of restless that I’ve never felt before. It feels inorganic, as if my sleep had been made in a lab.
They said to tell the truth during the meetings. People like to talk about themselves a lot, making them look like the victim as if it was planned to be. But they need to take responsibility, they need to accept the fact that they themselves are to blame. Not their lover. But, I suppose I do the same.
So here’s the truth. I miss you. I do. I get cravings of you every single morning and every single night. I want you back but I know I can’t have you again, and you’ve been gone for so long I doubt you would recognize me now. But there’s that chance I will see you again, and honestly, that’s what makes me get out of bed every morning. The idea of bumping into you on the street or to see you in the alley keeps me alive.
But it’s been a long time now. Perhaps I should move on. The movers are dropping off the couch from the apartment. No one wanted it and I don’t blame them it looks hideous.
I’ve been cleaning it for the past three hours now, and it still has a long way to go until it’s presentable for a yard sale. It still feels the same, uncomfortable and it sinks in on the right cushion. I notice there’s a lazily sewed in spot on the couch cushion. I should fix that too.
And as I pull the string apart to reopen the wound; I come across a distant memory that there was something between you and I.
I remember.
Our love, is addicting.

MINORS DO NOT INTERACT
“Tanjiro...while I’m out, keep an eye on those two will ya?” You said pointing at inosuke and zenitsu currently grappling each other on the floor. Tanjiro smiled and laughed. Being a hashira yourself you felt responsible for the younger slayers, therefore you had begun taking them under your wing. The meeting of the trio had been by complete accident, you had come to visit Shinobu at the butterfly estate when you saw the boys training in the yard. It made you happy to see the younger generation of slayers working so hard to improve their skills. After your first meeting you invited the three to live at your estate and train with you everyday, training had been rigorous but the boys always found ways to make it entertaining. All of them had huge personalities and talent that surpassed any others you had worked with before. Tanjiro had a difficult past, it seemed as sadness hung on to him but he was always cheerful, always willing to learn more. Not for him but for those around him, for nezuko, for zenitsu, for inosuke, for his family. Although he hid, shuddered, screamed, and trembled, Zenitsu was no coward. He protects others while wearing his heart on his sleeve. And Inosuke, the king of the mountain, when you had first met he immediately challenged you to which you gladly obliged. His skill and raw strength were impressive to say the least but you had many years of training and experience under your belt. This became apparent to Inosuke after you pinned him to the ground. He’s straight forward, and always on the move; you admired that. Nezuko was the one who surprised you the most. Never in your life had you seen a demon defend humans, you watched her intently and asked Tanjiro all the questions you could think of. You didn’t see her often, she was either resting or hiding but the times you did you spent your time observing and learning.
“Hey, (y/n), where exactly are you going?” Asked Zenitsu, pulling you out of your trance.
“Goin to visit an old friend, I’ll be back in a couple hours. If there is an emergency I’m only in the next village over...Besides I’m sure you boys can handle.” You smiled and wink at the boys.
“(Y/n), please don’t leave us alone! What if a demon comes on the property! Pleaseeeeeee don’t leaveee!” Wailed Zenitsu! On his knees he looked up at you with eyes full of tears. Trembling, he clutched your shirt.
“Pleaseeeeee (y/n)chan, don’t leave.” He sobbed.
“QUIT BEING A WIMP, WE DON'T NEED ANYONE TO PROTECT US!! ESPECIALLY NOT ME, I'M THE STRONGEST THERE IS!!!” Roared Inosuke as he held Zenitsu up by the collar of his shirt.
“That’s the spirit! Tanjiro!” Tanjiro turned to attention.
“Yes!” He said quickly.
“You and Nezuko are in charge.” You said as you headed out the door. Hearing immediate protests from Inosuke you laughed under your breath as you started the trek to the village.
————————————————————————-
You received the letter two weeks before, it had been dropped in your lap as you meditated one afternoon. Not expecting a letter you were excited to see what it contained. That evening you read it by candlelight, it had been from a friend, a fellow hashira. Several years before they made a promise to you, and now that they were nearby they intended to follow through. It made you laugh remembering all the times you had spent together because for sometime you both had been very close. But because of demon slayer responsibilities and life in general you both had grown apart and went separate ways. Which wasn’t meant to say you two didn’t talk, because you did when you got the chance. It was mostly at the end of hashira meetings and maybe sometimes in passing but you were both busy all the time so it became hard to have committed friendships. Regardless of the constant hustle and bustle of life tonight was about old times, for a little while you could reminisce on the past.
————————————————————————-
You looked at the letter again; you had brought it with you just in case you forgot the address. You looked at the izakayas sign, you had made it.
Walking inside you saw men sitting at long tables chatting amongst themselves, you searched the bar for a familiar face. Hastily, a small older man approached you and gestured for you to follow him. Walking closely behind, the old man took you down a winding hallway. At the end of the corridor hung two large crimson curtains. Intricate patterns laced the ends, a soft light emitting from the other side. The old man bowed deeply and pulled the left curtain to the side, you ducked your head and entered.
This inside was adorned with hanging jewels and sparkling lanterns. Elaborate murals of Japan's wilderness covered the walls, tatami mats made up the floors. In the middle of the room sat a mulberry table; a dragon carved into each leg. On the table were various bottles of sake and shochu, beautiful ivory cups sat beside them. The most welcoming sight was sitting behind the table, the sound pillar himself.
“Tengen, it has been some time since we last saw each other.” You bowed when you greeted him.
The large man stood and bowed as well.
“Indeed it has (L/n). It’s so refreshing to see that you are doing well, but I really wish you would have worn something else besides your uniform. It isn’t appealing, and in all honesty does nothing for feminine figure.”
Of course this would be the first thing he’d say. You scoffed and retorted
“Please forgive me for not wearing something a little more revealing, my lord”. You said sarcastically.
He laughed a bit and then you sat down together on either side of the table. He extended you a glass and filled it with drink. As he moved to pour his you spoke up,
“Am I to believe this meeting you have arranged is for old times sake or is there something else that needs to be addressed?” He didn’t answer right away, he waited until he finished pouring his drink; taking a deep sigh he set the bottle next to the others.
“I’ve come to collect my dues (L/n)san. Do you remember our bet we made several years ago?” He slyly looked up at you, a smirk curling at his lips.
You smiled back remembering that night in great detail. It was a celebration, you had officially been ranked as a hashira and attended your first meeting that day, as a result the others decided it would only be necessary to celebrate by a night of drinking. In a bar much like this one you all shared drinks to commemorate your achievement, soon though it had turned into a ruthless competition as to who could consume the most alcohol without tapping out. First was Mitsuri, next Obanai, only because he didn’t want Mistsuri to feel left out, after them it was Giyu, followed by Kyojuro, then Sanemi. Several didn’t participate so that left you and Uzui. It became a battle to the death, drink after drink, bottle after bottle, both of you were at your limit when Uzui added an extra element to the competition. Both of you were to stand and continue drinking until one fell or surrendered, the other would be crowned the winner. Both of you stood at either end of the bar, slamming bottles left and right, you were so impossibly intoxicated. Your vision was blurred, head spinning, you could hardly keep your balance. Ready to accept defeat you began to brace yourself until you inevitably hit the floor, but before you got ready a large crash shook the entire building. There on the ground was the sound pillar laying flat on his back, you had won. Your raised your arms in triumph but this threw off what little equilibrium you had left, you joined him and passed out on the floor of the bar.
Days after the celebration a headache waged war across your temples, and even the smell of alcohol made you violently ill. But to much of your surprise Uzui came to see you in person to congratulate you on your outstanding triumph against him, he then challenged you to a rematch. To which you replied you don’t think you’ll ever drink again, he laughed and said that the next time the two of you had time he demanded a rematch, but with a catch. If he won you’d have to marry him and if you won you'd be able to say you beat him twice. You said that hardly seems far at all, to which he outstretched his hand.
“Do we have a deal?” He wore the same devilish smirk now that he did then.
“ Deal.”
————————————————————————
“Do you remember our terms? If I win you become my wife, and if you win...I’ll give you whatever it is you want. Anything. Just name your price.” You smiled at him.
“Anything I want?” You asked with a certain coy voice.
“Anything.” He replied bluntly.
“Fine. I want you to lose!” You exclaimed as you downed your first drink.
“One behind Uzui.” You voiced, as you shook your empty glass.
A frustrated look came across his face as he too finished his drink and began to pour two more. Two could play this game.
“I was thinking we should have our ceremony in the wisteria grove. I think it would be lovely, don’t you? You’ll have to wear a tight dress, I don’t want to leave anything up to imagination.” He winked as he once more finished his drink. His tracing your body.
“Perhaps something low cut.” His eyes fixed on your chest. He knew exactly what to say to get on your nerves.
“What makes you think I’d want to join your doll house anyways? Wouldn’t I be more inclined to marry three men?” You said. A look of confusion and jealousy spread across his face.
“In fact, I think I’ll marry three hashira.” Now his blood was boiling.
He thought for a minute, surely you couldn’t be serious. So he called your bluff,
“As if there are three hashira you are even attracted to.”
You sat for a minute, thinking of what you could say that could get him riled up the most, then it hit you.
“What about Rengokusan? He’s very bold and fiery. I’m sure he’d make a fine husband.” A flustered blush crept along his cheeks.
“And what about Sanemi, he’s dangerous and hot tempered, I love the aggressive type.” You smirked now watch Uzui’s face flush with anger.
“You were right, Tengen. This last one is hard, I can’t decide between Gyomie or Tomioka. Gyomie is so tall and strong, but Tomioka is silent and reserved. I just adore quiet men, it’s always so satisfying to get them to beg.” You now leaned across the table inches from Uzui. His blush became hotter and redder as the seconds went by. He couldn’t speak even if he wanted to.
“I like this side of you Tengen, you should be quiet more often.” You kissed the tip of his nose and retreated to your sitting position, and while he was still focused on your words and actions you grabbed both yours and his cups and drank both. He sat dumbfounded, you had used his own methods against him, this only made him more enchanted.
“Two behind Tengen.” You lazily spun your finger on the inside of your empty glass.
Regaining his composure he sat up and poured two more both of which he drank himself, then another two. The game was on. The two of you sat throwing back drink after drink just like you had done before, but instead of friendly competition, this time held an important wager. The more you drank the drunker you became, this only filled Uzui’s mind with filthy fantasies. The thought of you being all his to unravel set his libido ablaze, he had to have you now. Before, he had thought of you with him, joining him with his other wives, all of you begging him to please you. Just the mere thought of you pleading him to please you sent shockwaves throughout his body. He wanted nothing more than to hear your soft begs and praises as he satisfied your needs. He became hungry with desire so he washed it down with more and more liquor. You weren’t helping his situation much because the more you drank the flirtier you got.
“Uzui, you look so muscular, I bet you could pick me up as if I were weightless”.
“Uzui, your hands are so big, and you are so tall!”
With each comment the more he gloated and drank. Little did he know this had been your plan all along. You had intended to flirt with him just so he’d want you that much more, soon he’d drink himself into a stupor and you would take all the glory. But he was not going down fast enough, although his hair was a mess, he slurred his speech, and lazily draped himself across the cushions, you needed to turn it up a notch. He sat with his legs spread, his back leaned against cushions and the wall. His position was so inviting, he’d hope you would oblige and get closer to him.
As you finished another drink, you went to pour another, but this one too had also run dry.
Tengen had forgotten about the competition to some degree; he had also forgotten your craftiness as well. Tengen’s mind was filled with you, and how you’d like to be alongside him. Or underneath him. Opening a new bottle you pour four glasses, two for each of you.  This was all part of your devious plan; as he reached for his two you grabbed his hand and looked at him deeply in his eyes.
“Uzui, do you think I’d be a good wife?” You said in a soft almost begging tone. This stopped him, your hands were soft and your voice so tender his heart beat began to rise even more. Then an excited smile spread across his lips. In an instant he grabbed your wrist and pulled you over the table into his lap. His hands migrated to hips and he pulled you close. His face settled in the crook of your neck.
“Is that your way of admitting defeat (y/n)? Or are you just trying to rile me up?” His hands gripped your hips tighter and swayed them back and forth. You could feel his length growing as he moved you.
Perhaps this plan of yours has gotten a little out of hand. You had to think of something and think of it quickly or else you might find yourself in a situation that you can’t escape; Uzui Tengen’s grasp. His deep voice brought you out of your thoughts. His hand traveled to your chin and he turned you head to look at him.
“You still have not answered my question. Are you forfeiting?”
Surely he could feel your heart beating, it was practically jumping out of your chest. In an instant you grabbed your drinks and stood to face him.
“To beat me, you’ll have to win fair and square!” You finished both almost in two gulps.
Tengen thought that your fighting spirit reminded him of Kyojuro, it was cute. It was an even sweeter sight to watch you drink, liquid down the sides of your mouth, the way your throat moved as it guided your drink into your body. He wished you were swallowing something else.
Still standing, you stumbled back to the opposite end of the table.
“This ends now, Uzui. Same as last time. Last person standing after two more bottles win. No vomit, no breaks, no help to stand.” Uzui stood and took one of the jugs.
“You have played with me all evening, now you are going to lose, (y/n). Then I will take you as my wife and do with you as I please. Don’t worry there is endless pleasure to be had when you are mine.” He uncorked the jug and held it to his lips, he looked over to you to see you had a jug in your hand holding it to your lips.
Together you guzzled the bottles, drinking far more than your body could handle. Liquor was spilling down both of your chest, Tengen could not pry his eyes off that sight.
He finished the jug in record time, he set it down and watched you intently finish yours.
You took your last sip and set your jug down as well. Tengen had his arms crossed with a sly grin.
“Ready to give in yet? The night is still young and I could definitely make it worth your while.” He winked. He had figured out your plan and was now going to make you pay.
“I see the way you have been staring at me (y/n). That wasn’t for show, I know the way you want me.” He put his hands behind his head so you could get the full view of his powerful body.
You became flustered, it was true, you did want him. You had thought of him often, but Tengen was going to have it his way. You were far too proud to give up for a night of pleasure. You were faltering, struggling to stand now you swayed as your head spun. You almost dropped but you caught yourself, looking up at Uzui you couldn’t tell which one to focus on.
“(Y/n), you can have me. All of me. Just say the word and I’ll catch you.” He spoke in such an alluring manner, it was beckoning you into his arms.
“Tengen, you know I don’t like to share.” You stood up fully and crossed your arms. Although you were unsteady and everything seemed to be 5 seconds behind, you were confident because you were not the only one struggling.
Tengen too had become out of balance as he violently kept from falling. His vision now blurred worse than yours.
You spoke up again now seeing he too was losing his battle.
“Awwww what happened Tengen, I thought I was going to lose.” You teased.
Tengen upon hearing this stumbled forward to catch himself in one last vain attempt to prove his strength. As he did so, he tripped over the small table. Trying to get out of the way you too lost your balance and started to fall. The table, the bottles, the glasses all went flying as you and Uzui made way towards the ground. A winner would be decided by who hit the floor first. You both hit the floor with a loud crash, you had closed your eyes to brace for impact but your landing had been soft. You opened your eyes to see a smiling Tengen holding you close to his chest. He had caught you mid fall so as not to let you get crushed underneath him.
“Ha ha! I won, you hit the ground first! I won!” You cheered but Tengen only smiled and held you closer. This embrace was what he had been craving.
“You wouldn’t have won had it not been for me, remember? Had I let you fall you would have hit first. Don’t you think you owe me a little?” He smiled deliciously. You thought for a moment and yes you supposed that indeed he did help you, and that you should return the favor.
Quickly you throw either leg on either side of his massive frame. Straddling him you pushed him to lay back down, your hands sneaking their way to his neck. You lowered yourself till you were only inches apart.
“Will this suffice, Tengen?” You said before passionately kissing his lips. Tengen impressed by your boldness laid shocked his eyes wide open as you kissed him feverently.
You stopped and looked at him with eyes full of lust,
“Uzui, why aren’t you kissing me back? I thought this was what you wanted?” You whispered in his ear. Then you began to kiss his neck all the way back up to his lips. This time though, Uzui wrapped his thick arms around your waist and pulled you impossibly closer. His hand crept to the base of your skull and held your head down so he could attack your lips harshly. When he finally let you break free for air he said,
“What is it that you want? I told you I’d give you anything you desired if you won. Tell me what is it that you crave?” He huskily whispered as he pressed soft kisses into your neck, his hands roaming your body.
“Bragging rights are enough for me, baby.” You said; you broke the embrace and stood up.
Uzui sat flabbergasted as he watched you collect your things. But before you opened the curtain you turned around and said,
“Until we meet again, Tengen. Maybe next time I’ll let you” you winked at him as he stared in utter shock, ducking underneath the heavy curtain you headed towards the entrance. The bar is almost empty now, but a few stray customers still sat.
Walking out into the cool night air, you knew that in the next couple weeks you could expect a letter or maybe even a visit. But now you had to make the journey back home and see how badly the boys had behaved.

A/N : this woman severely pissed me off. also, it's final week, so I'm just uploading this since I wrote this ages ago. Enjoy.
My feet were planted firmly on the pavement and my arms were crossed. The dead grass was coated with a thin layer of snow while the clouds covered up the sun. The winter weather complimented the large stone building in front of me. It had a depressing aura, but my heart was skipping happily as I occasionally glanced at a small child that was running around in warm getup.
“Ah, Miss Y/n! Glad to see that you could make it.”
I broke out of my trance and my gaze softened as I made eye contact with a nun. Angela, was it? I pursed my lips and I shook her hand. “Angela. Good afternoon.”
The woman simply smiled before placing her hand on my back and walked, me going with her. “I can’t wait to see who you make a connection with. Expanding the family is always a joyous occasion. As you can see," she motioned to several decked out tables with food on top, "we’re having several guests over. The kids are always excited when future parents host parties.”
We paused in front of the room where children were running around and nuns were tending to their needs. My lips slightly curved up as I observed the scene, but Angela quickly stole my attention again.
Clasping her hands together, the nun spoke, "Well, I’ll leave you to it. Feel free to have some food and play with them.” She had a knowing smile on her face as she disappeared elsewhere.
This wasn’t the first time I’d attended one of these events. I had been ready to adopt for a while, but I hadn’t found that ‘connection’ yet. I hadn’t met a child old enough to count as an ‘older’ sibling for my ten-year-old son. Especially with the specification of sister.
However, this Christmas, I was determined to find the perfect addition for me and Milo. The time was right, and it was the holiday season. My job as a lawyer was successful and I managed to balance parenting and working. I had my own house, one that me and my late husband had bought several years ago. So I was able to be there for another child.
I examined the environment. I took slow and methodical steps around the room, seeing young girls and boys chase each other around and scream. However, there was something drawing me to explore further, so I found myself heading up the oak staircase.
Once I reached the top, I heard a vague humming. It seemed to be coming from the room at the end of the hallway. Without hesitation, I went to the door. The pitch was high enough to be a girl’s, but not too high to imply a toddler.
I placed my hand against the slightly open door and pushed it open. It was the classroom. I don’t recall ever entering here before. At the front was girl, probably around the age of eleven or twelve, sitting in front of an easel. She was faced away from me, so all I could see was her carefully tended-to hair and her embellished dress. I observed her for a moment, but the girl sensed my presence, and glanced over her shoulder at me.
“Hello,” she acknowledged politely, staring at me as though she expected someone else to be with me.
I took her greeting as an invitation, so I strode towards her. “Hello to you as well.” After I was standing next to her, I leaned over to see her painting completely.
It was a sleeping lioness while the night sky was above her. On the tables next to her, I saw that there were other drawings, creations from abstract fish to daisies. There seemed to be at least a dozen, although I had an inkling that there were more than where this came from.
“So you’re a young artist,” I commented, returning my attention to her. “How long have you been painting, dear?”
The girl still seemed reluctant to talk, but I couldn’t fault her. I was aware that my serious composure was often interpreted as coldness. “Oh, for as long as I can remember. I have a lot of free time,” she replied.
She had quite an adorable face; freckles, large black eyes, and puffy cheeks. Her hands were frail and delicate, but a little worn out as someone who drew often would have. Her dress seemed quite personalized, and even her black shoes were thoughtful.
“How old are you?” I asked carefully.
She was quick to answer, as though she expected a certain outcome. “I’m twelve.”
I hummed. “I have a ten-year-old son at home. He’s always wanted an older sister. Do you want any siblings?”
Her eyes widened slightly. “O-oh, I don’t mind.” She turned back to the easel. “I think it’s missing something,” she mused.
“Her cubs,” I proposed. “She’s sleeping peacefully, so that means her cubs are near and safe. After all, a mother is happy as long as her children are protected.”
She grinned, drawing a cub curled at the lioness’ side. “And… done!” She exclaimed, finishing the nose.
“Not quite. Don’t you think there should be two cubs? I imagine it could be an even happier family if there was one more addition, don’t you?”
She seemed to pause. “Maybe. Is there a daddy lion? Without a daddy lion, it would be harder for the mommy lion.”
“Not at all. The lioness is capable of protecting the cubs. The lioness has a big cave and loves her children.” I placed my hand on her head and patted.
She pursed her lips for a moment before grabbing the paint brush and I couldn’t help but smile as she made one final addition to the painting. She looked me up and down one final time before answering, "It would be an honor. I am Esther.”
~~~
“It’s incredible that you were able to connect with her. I knew it would work out for you,” Angela prayed, sitting forward at her wooden desk.
My hands were clasped neatly in my lap. “Yes, Esther was polite, which is normal since I know I don’t come off as friendly, but she seemed completely natural. And so very creative. I already know my son will love her. I certainly do.”
Angela’s smile somehow widened. “She’s always been well-mannered and obedient. We’ve never had any problems with her, except for when some of the other girls pick on her. I’m sure she’ll be an amazing addition to the household.” She paused to see if I had any comments. “Anyways, let’s start filling out the paperwork.”
~~~
Milo woke up that Christmas morning incredibly disappointed; he knew his mother always woke up early, so he searched the whole house. The living room, the kitchen, the bedrooms, even her personal bathroom - but mom was nowhere to be found.
Milo was disappointed, even though he tried not to be. He knew from the horror stories his friends told him that he had a good mom. She worked hard and somehow was still attentive. But it was Christmas morning, it was her job to be in the house when he woke up!
He entered the bathroom and stared at the mirror with glassy eyes. Milo had been so excited that he forgot to comb his shoulder length, dark brown hair. He hadn’t even changed out of his pajamas yet, which consisted of one of mom’s t-shirts and warm, fluffy pants with red and black stripes. His coffee-colored skin glistened slightly from the tears, so he splashed some cold water on his face.
He immediately clambered out of the room when his ears picked up the faint sound of the front door being unlocked. Milo raced down the stairs as quickly as he could in slippery blue socks. By the time he made it to the front door, he only became confused.
There, at the front door, his mother stood with a girl next to him. She was dressed up all nice and her black hair was curled. She had a suitcase and a complacent, polite smile on her face while mom pointed out where to hang her coat and to place her shoes.
“Mom, who’s she?” Milo finally spoke, catching both of their attentions. Mom smiled, wrapping an arm around Esther’s shoulders.
“Esther, this is Milo. Milo, meet your new sister,” she replied calmly, nudging Esther forward slightly.
Milo’s eyes widened, and his stare went from Esther to his mother then back to Esther. He opened his mouth, but was in visible shock, before leaping towards Esther and hugging her. “That’s so cool! I can’t believe this! I’m so happy you’re here!”
Esther seemed rather shocked but returned the hug, an unsure, uneasy smile gracing her adorable features. Y/n could only watch the scene with a smile, her heart warm and fuzzy. She paid no heed to Esther’s reluctancy; after all, she’d just found a family for the first time in.. three years? It’s understandable that her daughter wouldn’t be used to affection, or at least the sort that a loving family would give her.
She clapped her hands together. “Milo, can you show Esther to her new room? It’s right next to yours. I haven’t decorated it yet, but that’s because I wanted you to be able to, Esther,” mom explained, pushing Esther’s suitcase to Milo. “When you’re both done settling down and getting to know one another, feel free to help with breakfast,” Y/n added.
Both kids nodded and ran off, although Esther did so with more grace and agility, while Milo was quick and clumsy. Y/n watched as they disappeared up the stairs, Milo’s happy giggling still echoing in the house.
~~~
One hand holding the pan still and the other scrambling the yolk, I focused intently on the breakfast. In the background was some Christmas piano music. I had a ritualized ugly sweater that my late husband’s mother always sent to me and Milo - although this year I went out of my way to request a third for Esther. Since we lived too far away from the rest of the family - an entire country away - we weren’t able to spend it there this year, especially because there was work with the adoption papers. I know Milo was upset, but hopefully now it makes up for spending Christmas at home.
“Mommy?”
I glanced over my shoulder to see Esther batting her eyes at me while Milo was next to her. “Ready to help?”
Milo grinned and hugged me from behind. “Can I make the pancakes, mom?” he requested.
“Sure. Esther, do you know how to cook? Milo can teach you how to make pancakes if you want.”
Esther stood beside Milo as he raced around the kitchen to get the proper ingredients. “I would love to. I have never cooked before, at the orphanage we ordered from the cafeteria.”
Milo frowned. “That’s sad. Mom and I always make lunch together on Sunday. Food is even better when you make it yourself.” He plopped a large bowl on the counter and poured in the necessary components. “Here, you stir.”
Esther did as told, and in the corner of my eye, I saw that she cheekily grinned and dipped her finger in. I figured I wouldn’t be the victim so I return my attention to the almost completed eggs. My eyes widened when I felt two wet splotched fingers poking into both my cheeks and let out a mute gasp.
Both kids are standing behind me. “We need to use the pan, mom,” Milo said innocently.
“Is that so?” I said, reaching over and dipping my fingers in the pancake mix as well. I bopped both of their noses. “Well, you’ll just have to wait a second, hm?” I licked the remaining pancake mix from my finger.
After a second, I grabbed a plate and used the spatula to push all the eggs onto it. I handed it to Milo. “Go ahead and wash this up. I need to finish wrapping up a few more presents, okay?” I washed my hands and ruffled their heads.
“Okay, mom.”
“Yes, mommy.”
I left them to their own devices while they finished up breakfast, heading over to the living room couch. Strewn on the arm was Milo’s ugly sweater - of which he was starting to get old enough to realize that it looked awful but not old enough to not care - and next to it, folded neatly, was a third. Milo hadn’t asked about it, but that was for Esther.
I actually finished wrapping presents last night. I just wanted to let the kids bond. I even had my camera at the ready; I always forgot to take pictures, but today had to be recorded now that we had a new family member.
“Mom!” I heard Milo call from the kitchen a few minutes later.
I returned to the kitchen to find Esther plating the pancakes. “Perfect. Thanks you two, you’re both first class chefs in the making.” I took both the plates while Milo told Esther to help get some orange juice and cups.
The dining room was adjacent to the living room, a rectangular table adorning a red and green tablecloth in the center. There was some last minute decorations like snowflake stickers on the window and a snowman statue in the center of the table. I set the pancakes and eggs in the center of the table before sitting down.
Milo and Esther finished setting everything up without complaint before sitting down too. Esther snatched the seat next to me while Milo sat across. He pouted a bit complaining about how he wanted Esther to sit next to him, but she just giggled.
After a few minutes of silence while we gorged on food, I finished chewing and sent a knowing smile to Milo. “Did you get what you wanted for Christmas this year, dear?”
Milo grinned. “Yeah, I’m so happy! Thanks, mom. But I still want a skateboard too,” he added sheepishly.
I chuckled, and before I could reply, Esther chipped in. “I can not think of anything else I could want. Even this breakfast is great. All I really want to have is a daddy as well.”
I was unfazed, but I noticed that Milo’s expression fell. “Well, there was a dad before, but he’s up in heaven now. It’s okay though, Esther, we still have a happy family, especially with you here with us now.”
Her doe eyes stared up at me, large and beady. “I hope so. Thank you for picking me, mommy.”
“So go ahead and tell us more about yourself, Esther. Milo also likes to draw, so I’m sure he’d love to hear about that.”
Milo’s attention was immediately caught. Esther started, "Well, I like drawing animals or people I think are pretty. I have been doing it for as long as I have been in the orphanage. There is not much to say, I think.”
“I want to see them,” Milo exclaimed. “I like art, too. Oh, and guitar! I can show you my guitar, Esther.”
“Okay, thank you, brother,” she replied politely. “Can we open presents after breakfast?”
“Yes, but I’ll need a little help with dishes, okay?”
Milo groaned. “But it’s Christmas! If we were at grandma’s, she wouldn’t make me do dishes,” he complained.
I lightly chuckled. “And you wouldn’t make your dear old mother miss out on watching her wonderful kids open presents, would you?”
“Never. Mommy deserves the help, brother. If you want, mommy, I can do all the dishes while you start the presents,” Esther interjected, batting her eyes at me.
I raised an eyebrow. “No, Esther, it’s alright.”
~~~
I helped Esther carry her gifts up to her room. I had bought her an easel, large papers, and art supplies, along with a Nokia phone for safety. There were some other small tchotchkes and candies from the stocking that Esther was lumbering up the steps.
Milo went outside the moment he opened his final present, a skateboard, so it was just me and my daughter in the house. I nudged her bedroom door open and set the boxes on the ground while Esther went to the bed. I heaved out a sigh and turned on the camera that hung around my neck, skimming through the cute photos I shot. I was no photographer, though, so some came out blurry and I deleted them.
Arms wrapped my waist. “Can I see them, mommy?” she requested, tugging my shirt towards the bed.
I plopped down beside her, giving her the chance to look at them. She stared at them silently but with a complacent smile on her face. “You aren’t in any of these, mommy.”
“I’m not very photogenic,” I bashfully explained, before having the camera torn from my hands. Esther held it up and I froze to the best of my abilities, letting her snap a picture. I sensed that she had a stubborn spirit.
“Beautiful, mommy,” she praised as she checked the picture.
The compliment made me grin shyly. “Thanks, dear. I appreciate it.” I pulled her in for a quick side hug before changing the topic. “So how are you liking your new home?”
She pursed her lips. “I like it here a lot. I just want to know what happened to the daddy.”
I let out a sigh. “My former husband, Hugh, passed away while I was pregnant with Milo. He went fishing with some friends during the winter and got a bit tipsy, fell overboard, crashed through the ice and couldn’t get back up. Nothing more, nothing less. And I’m too busy with work and my kids to focus on men. After all, I’m a lawyer, those cases don’t solve themselves, hm?” I left the story on a positive note, but I was shocked to see that a tear fell from her eye.
I quickly fussed and wiped it off with my thumb. “What’s wrong?”
“It’s just,” she sniffled, "so sad. I cannot imagine how sad you are.”
I pulled her into a lasting hug. “Well,” I started, "it was hard and I was terribly depressed when it happened. I wouldn’t have made it through the pregnancy if Hugh’s side of the family, especially my mother-in-law, hadn’t helped me. But everything was alright when I finally met my Milo. Even when he was an ugly purple raisin, when he opened his eyes for the first time, I saw that it was Hugh’s. It was a reminder then and there that I had to get my - pardon my language - shit together because no matter how sad I was, I loved Milo ten times more. I even named him Milo because of Hugh’s middle name, Mark. I figured to give him a ‘M’ name to honor my husband.”
A minute passed; Esther’s arms were wrapped around me as she took in the story. I felt her breathing against my chest and her curled hair flattened against my shoulder. “Wow,” she whispered. “That is so brave of you. I did not know a woman could love someone so much.”
I couldn’t help but wonder what experience had shaped such a point of view. I understood why she was eager about finding out about a male figure of the household. I exhaled and rubbed her head. “It’s okay. And you’re my daughter, so I love you just as much.”
~~~
Late that night, Y/n had arisen from her slumber for an unknown reason. She felt uneasy. So, she stepped outside for a few minutes to smoke. Light snow was falling from the sky and the night air was chilled. The smoke from the cigarette blended with her cold exhalations.
After she finished, she went back inside, setting the lighter on the living room table and the cigarette in the trash. She was quiet when returning to her room, but noticed that the light in Esther’s flickered off as she walked past.
Y/n slid open Esther’s door just a crack, noticing that the easel was assembled and that there was a painting in progress. Her daughter was tucked away in her bed in a messy fashion, indicating that she was faking, but she just smiled and left for her room.
Hours passed, and the house was fast asleep by then - all except for one girl, Esther, who eventually stirred and left her bed. Her small feet pattered down the hallway. Loud snores came from Milo’s room, which covered up her footsteps as she made her way down the stairs.
The living room was illuminated by the red and green Christmas bulbs hung up on the walls, and the glistening gleams from the tinsel on the tree. Her eyes narrowed as her eyes landed on a wall adorning a black lighter. Her cute features didn’t fit with the blank, sinister expression that rested on her visage; unblinking and attentive.
She gazed longingly at it before striding towards it, and snatching it up in an instant. Skillfully, knowingly, she lit a flame. Her stare remained trained on it loyally.
~~~
It was finally the day that Milo had to return to school. During the last week, he was rather disappointed that his new sister spent most of her time in her room slaving away at the easel and mostly saw her at mealtimes. However, he couldn’t fault her for being passionate, so kept his disappointment hidden away.
Milo finally had a better chance to get to know her though, since the two walked to the bus stop together, as their house was hidden away in the woods. However, Esther was eager to get to school - that meant anytime he tried to start a conversation, he’d be the one carrying it, but he figured tomorrow would be better when she’s seen how dull school was.
Milo even wanted to sit next to her on the bus, but his friends called him over before he got the chance to mention it to her. And he figured that his friends wanted his presence more than her.
So that had been how his morning went; uneventful and a failure. Milo guessed that hanging out with siblings was an at-home activity. It was recess and he had his packed lunch in his grasp, and while his friends Todd and Kaden walked beside him to find a spot to sit and eat. The cafeteria was crowded, but they found a table to sit anyways.
“Be right back,” Todd and Kaden called, rushing over to the line to get food. Sometimes Milo wished that his mom let him get the cafeteria lunch instead since there were yummy snacks like cheesy pretzels and ice cream cones, but she always cared a lot about his health. Milo unzipped his lunchbox to reveal a peanut butter and banana sandwich, a bag of strawberries, and some broccoli. He grinned, peanut butter sandwiches were his favorite -
His attention was stolen away when he heard his sister’s name being called. He saw Stella, Georgia, and Michelle, some of the popular girls, stepping in her way. Milo frowned, already knowing that his sister’s queer fashion taste had drawn their attention. And their attention was never wanted.
He strained to hear what the girls were saying, since everyone else was talking loudly too. “You realize this is school and not a castle, right princess?” Stella sneered. It left Milo a little confused, since that almost sounded like a compliment.
Esther just replied, "Move.”
“Oh, sorry, I’m not one of your servants. But let’s see, did your butler make you a pretty little lunch?” She mocked, reaching for the lunchbox. Esther dodged it, but at the expense of her school bag. Georgia got in on the action during this clash, tearing Esther’s bag off her shoulder.
The contents spilled onto the ground, but of course, Stella took immediate notice of the small Bible. Esther crouched down and gathered her things, but not before Georgia grabbed the Bible form her grasp. Georgia handed it over to Stella, who smirked and waved it around tauntingly.
“Well, well, well. I guess you’re a dumb church girl instead. Why don’t you pray to Jesus to fix your Bible?”
Michelle, who had been on the sidelines, held Esther back. Her eyes were wide and furious. Stella had a permanent smirk as she opened the Bible and tore out the pages, dropping it onto the ground and kicking it back to her.
Michelle finally let go of Esther, who tumbled to the floor gathering the pages up angrily.
And, understandably, she screamed.

Yandere Legolas x reader Smut
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There is a ball scene in this fic and this is what I imagined the dress would look like, cause I adore cottagcore. If you don't like it, I respect that and just ignore this picture :)
You would never have thought that this would ever happen to you. You’d heard the stories. The tales of elven obsession towards their darlings but you had never expected to become one of them….
Time makes fools of us all, I suppose.
You don’t know how you never saw it coming, after all, looking back on it, it was quite obvious.
The fawning over you, the obsessive glances, the jealousy.
God, you really should have seen this coming. You shouldn’t have fallen for his trap, but in all honesty, it just seemed so innocent.
Legolas had invited you to the Mirkwood palace, a high honour considering their secrecy and what kind of person would you have been to refuse such a generous offer?
You had gotten to the border, and Legolas was eagerly awaiting your arrival. His eyes were gleaming with an emotion you couldn’t place, and he greeted you warmly. “Y/N! I’m so glad you came!”
He ran forward and gathered you in his arms, utterly enveloping you in a bone-crushing hug, and you couldn’t help but hug back. When he finally pulled back, and gently cupped your face and stared into your eyes for what seemed to be an eternity. He looked enrapture with you.
You looked at him questioningly for a moment before you finally broke the silence “Legolas? Are you alright?” Your voice seemed to break him out of whatever trance he was in, and he smiles brightly before answering “Oh I’m alright! It’s just that my memory does not do your beauty justice”.
You were by surprise at the sudden compliment, but you couldn’t help but believe his words. You didn’t get a chance to answer because he was already guiding you to sit on his horse, and when you had been comfortably settled, Legolas joined you in the saddle.
You rode through thick forests filled with lush greenery, imposing trees, and beautiful trees. And the speed at which you were going must have been causing you to see things because you swore you saw a figure sat upon a snow-white elk, but you cast the notion away, deciding that it must have just been a trick of the light.
Time seemed to cease in this forest because you no idea how long you had been riding for, but it felt like it was somewhere between a second and eternity. Regardless of how long it had taken, you were finally at the palace gates.
You dismounted, and you had only taken a few strides forward before the gates opened ceremoniously and you were greeted by a company of guards. They bowed in unison before the captain announced your presence. “Prince Legolas and Lady Y/N, welcome to Mirkwood. The guests await your entrance”.
“Thank you Elros, we will be there soon.” You looked questioningly at Legolas as you were led into the palace, not understanding what he was talking about. He must have felt your curious gaze on his face because he turned to you and spoke “My father arranged a ball in the honour of your arrival.”
That took you completely by surprise! You would have never expected such a fuss over your presence. “But I’m not dressed for a ball!” You said in a shocked voice, but Legolas only gave you a patient look as you broke away from the group of guards.
Legolas smiled at your panicked tone and said in a reassuring tone “Your gown has already been arranged starlight.” You went a little pink at the nickname and allowed yourself to be led to the guest chambers that had been arranged for you.
“This will be your chambers for the duration of your stay, I hope it suits you well,” Legolas said before opening the door for you.
“Thank you, Legolas, it's more than I could have asked for!” You said with a bright smile. He grinned at your reaction, “You like it?” he asked. You nodded joyfully, staring around the room in wonder. “It’s wonderful Legolas, thank you.”
“I’ll leave you to get changed into your gown, my lo-…My lady,” Legolas replied, before closing the door, his footsteps echoing down the corridor.
You turned to where your ballgown was hanging, and you couldn’t help but to stop and admire it. It was truly divine. The tailoring was magnificent, it was designed to show off your shoulders and the soft colour would most certainly bring out your eyes.
You quickly stepped into the gown, and you couldn’t stop yourself from admiring how you looked. Utterly gorgeous.
You strode towards the door when you heard a firm knock echo against the hardwood and when the door swung open, you were met with handsome looking Legolas. The way he looked took your breath away and your appearance seemed to do the same. Legolas finally broke the silence, “Are you ready for the ball starlight?” You nodded eagerly, linking arms with him, and walking towards the ballroom.
The Mirkwood halls were truly as grand as the stories said. The decorations were extravagant and every elf in the room was dressed beautifully, and it was all being overseen by the Elven king, sitting high in his throne.
The night went by in a blur. You stayed by Legolas’ side the whole night, and you had the most fun you’d had in years. You had danced and drunk and laughed, it was bliss. You hadn’t thought much of it when Legolas asked you to meet him in a quiet corridor, thinking he just wanted somewhere quiet to talk to you for a while.
You finished up the conversation you were having with a young elleth and went out into the hallway in search of Legolas. You found him standing at the end of the hallway, waiting for you. He didn’t notice you walking towards him at first, seemingly entranced in his thoughts.
When he finally did notice you, his smile was enough to make flowers grow. “My darling Lady, you came!” He sounded so happy that you had decided to join him, almost like he was expecting you not to. “Of course, I came, why wouldn’t I? Besides, it sounded like you wanted to talk about something important.
He nodded, his face suddenly hardening over with a looked of determination as if he were preparing for something. “Yes, it’s something I’ve been wanting to ask you for a long time. Y/N, you must have noticed my affections for you by now, and I’ve been wanting to ask you…Will you marry me and become my queen?”
After he had finished his proposal, he handed a beautiful ring to you and looked at you with a hopeful gaze.
You stood frozen to the ground. You couldn’t believe what he was saying. Legolas was asking you to marry him, and by every force, in Middle Earth, you wanted to say yes. But you knew that you wouldn’t be able to handle the responsibility of being a queen, so with a heavy heart… You refused.
Legolas face fell into a heartbroken expression and his eyes glazed over with tears. “I’m sorry Legolas, as much as I do love you, I wouldn’t be able to handle the responsibility of ruling. So, I can’t marry you…I’m so sorry” You felt your voice crack on that last word and your eyes filled up with tears. You couldn’t look at his broken expression any longer, so you turned on your heel and started walking back to your guest chambers, leaving Legolas standing alone in the palace corridor.
Even after you had left, Legolas stayed in the corridor, still as a statue, with stray tears running down his face. He had been so sure that you would marry him, but you had refused him.
Legolas had been so caught up in all his thoughts that he hadn’t heard his father’s footsteps approaching him. “My son, what will you do to convince her to rule alongside you?” Legolas shook his head in defeat, "There’s nothing I can do ada, she doesn’t love me.”
Thranduil tilted his head at his son, "Oh, but she told you herself that she returns your feelings, but the burden of queenship frightens her.…She just needs a little encouragement to truly persuade her.”
Legolas looked up at his father, hope building in his heart. “What do I tell her ada?” Thranduil gave his son a knowing smile before placing a hand on his shoulder. “it is not your words that persuade her my son, but your actions.” Legolas gave his father a confused look before listening eagerly to what his father had to tell him.
----------------------------------
You awoke feeling groggy and exhausted. When you had returned to your chambers after rejecting Legolas’ proposal, you had willed yourself to fall into the land of dreams to escape the feelings of heartbreak you had. But now you had returned to reality and you were slowly coming back to yourself, albeit slowly.
You opened your eyes to see Legolas staring at you from the bottom of your bed. You froze in shock, thinking you might still be dreaming, or maybe even hallucinating but sure enough, the longer you looked, the more it settled in your head that you were not dreaming.
You try to sit up in bed, but it’s like you’re frozen. You were only brought out of your trance by the feeling of Legolas’ hands on your rubbing up and down your legs in a comforting motion. You stare at Legolas in shock, and his only reply was to give you one of his cute smiles.
“L-Legolas…What are doing…?” You asked quietly, afraid of what the answer might be. Legolas only tilted his head at you and gave you a soft understanding smile.
“Darling, I know that this must seem all of a sudden but I can’t allow you to slip through my fingers. No one else makes me feel the way you do. I can’t lose that. You said you felt the same, didn’t you? You said that you loved me back?” You nodded, curious as to where he was going with this.
“Well darling, I will show you that staying with me despite your anxiety and fears of ruling will be filled with pleasure and love. Will you allow me to show you how much I love you?
After what seemed to be an eternity, you finally found your voice, “Y-Yes, I trust you.” Legolas smiled at your words before speaking “Lie back and lift your hips for me, my love.” You did as he asked, and he gave you a loving look before lowering his head between your legs and started to kiss up your thighs.
You closed your eyes and leaned your head back against the pillows, enjoying the feeling of his soft kisses against you. He slowly made his way up your thighs until he reached your centre. He pressed his thumb against your sensitive clit and because you weren’t expecting it, you let out a soft whimper of his name.
“Oh darling, you have no idea the power you hold over me, you could rip my heart from my chest, and I’d still adore you.” Before you could reply, he started an onslaught of licks against your aching pussy causing you to cry out in a mix of surprise and pleasure.
“Ahhhhh~ g-god yes! P-please don’t s-stop! It feels so good!” You heard Legolas laugh at your desperation “Shhh, darling, don’t want anyone to know how good I’m making you feel when we aren’t even married yet, now do we?”
You were already a panting, whimpering mess and he’d barely touched you, you don’t know how you were going to get through the rest of the night.
“No stay still and let me please you.” He lowered his head between your legs again but this time he was nowhere near as merciful to you as he’d been before. He was holding nothing back and you just couldn’t keep quiet. You weren’t even bothering to keep your loud cries of pleasure muffled because you knew it would be a wasted effort.
“Legolas – Legolas – ah right there! You cried, thrusting your hips up in a desperate attempt for more of the blissful pleasure he was giving you. Legolas listened to your desperate pleas and began to thrust his tongue into you, and within seconds of him doing that, you were ready to cum. “Ah! Ahh! Gonn- c-cum! Please! Please! Please, can I-”
Legolas cut you off before you could finish “Let go for me darling, I want to see how gorgeous you are when you let go.” His commanding tone was too much for you, and you finally let yourself tumble off the cliff in a peak of pleasure.
When you finally came down from your high, you saw Legolas staring at you with utter adoration in his eyes, and the overwhelming look of love in his expression was too much for you to handle, causing you to look away.
“Look at me darling, I want to see those beautiful eyes.” You turned your head back to look at him as he brought himself up to lay beside you, all the while his adoring gaze never left you. “Have I convinced you to stay my love?” Legolas asked, his voice full of hope.
“And if your people don’t accept me as their Queen, what then?” You asked in a worried tone, but Legolas only cupped your cheek lovingly, “Our love comes first. Everything else is secondary. I’ve waited so long to build up the courage to ask for your love, and now that I have it, I’m never losing it. All I want is you. All I’ve ever wanted was you.”
Your heart was filled with such love at his confession that you felt as though it might burst. And how could you refuse him? After everything he had done for you, how could you not agree?”
“Alright Legolas, I will be your Queen, and love you to the end of days.” His eyes gleamed with happiness and he put the ring he had placed in your palm earlier, onto your finger, before he pressed his forehead to yours in a loving gesture.
Cementing your love for each other till the end of time.

Monaco- Tom Holland x Reader
summary: you sort of crash the boys’ trip.
a/n: i got inspo after the pics were posted, i hope this is somewhat good, idk😂 happy reading everyone 🦋
Tumblr media
You had never gone to Monaco before which made you very excited when your boyfriend had invited you. It was supposed to be a boys day but you had just got to London a few days from being back home and he wanted to spend every second he could with you. Harrison and Tuwaine were going too since the original plan was a guys trip.
You were all going to the F1 race which started on Saturday. Tom was with the Red Bull team which meant you were gonna get every VIP pass that ever existed. You all arrived on Friday which gave you a whole day to sleep. When you arrived at the hotel the first thing Tom did was flop on the bed.
“Ugh, i’m so tired.” he mumbled against the bed sheets as you chuckled and put the suitcases in a corner.
“I know, that flight was killer.” you groaned as you sat down at the cloud like mattress making you sight in relief. You closed your eyes for a bit as you heard ruffling in the sheets and the bed sinking next to you. When you opened your eyes you saw Tom looking at you with a cute smile, wanting to kiss you. So you placed your hand on his right cheek and gave him a soft kiss.
“We should get some sleep.”
“Oh yes we do, but you have to tell the boys. So they don’t walk in or anything.”
“Right.. I’ll be right back.” Tom groaned as he left the bed and walked next door to see the boys. As he left you got up and got into your pajamas, took you makeup off and went under the sheets. While you where tying your hair Tom walked in and took off his shoes giving you a smile.
“All done, baby. Let’s go to bed.” he said and quickly got ready, then getting into bed with you as he quickly pulled you in for you he’d to rest on his chest. You both drifted off quickly feeling exhausted from the plane ride.
The morning came around rather quickly with you waking up first as usual. You expected to see Tom sound asleep but instead was met with an empty bed. You started to look around and were about to shout his name when he walked around the corner with breakfast.
“Morning, love.”
“Hi, you woke up early.” you chuckled and smiled as he walked closer to you. He put the breakfast at the foot of the bed and jogged to your side immediately putting his hands on your cheeks, pulling you into a sweet kiss. His lips moved softly against yours as you ran your finger tips down his abs.
“You ready for today?” he said getting into bed while eating fruit.
“I am, i’m just not sure what to wear.”
“Well leave the prettiest thing for tonight cause we’re all going to a fancy dinner.” you nodded and continued to eat talking about the day’s plan. Tom got up and got ready first with a pink t-shirt he bought with you, some jeans and random sneakers. You couldn’t stop staring at him cause even in simple clothing he looked hot. You settled for a tight crop tshirt and some baggy ripped jeans with your usual jewelry.
You walked out of the hotel hand in hand with Tom not feeling the need to hide your relationship since no one knew he was in Monaco that weekend. The car ride was pretty short making you grateful that you didn’t have to stay in a car for long. When you all got there, there were people waiting for all of you with VIP passes and wristbands.
The crew guided all of you to the main race track which consisted of walking in front of everyone. You saw so many people that you were gonna release your hand from Tom’s. You don’t know how but he knew you were gonna attempt to do it which made his grip tighter. He looked back at you and smiled while nodding giving you a reassurance. The walk to your box felt long as you saw everyone staring and photographing you. You all finally made it to the VIP room. It had drinks, snacks and a few people chatting over champagne on the sofas.
“Do you want anything, baby?” Tom asked breaking you from your trance.
“No, i’m okay.” you smiled as Harrison and Tuwaine called you both to go look over the railing down at the race.
“Did you see everyone with their phones?” Tuwaine asked being discreet, not wanting other people to hear.
“Yeah i saw them, this is gonna blow up any second.” Harrison said adjusting his watch while look back and forth between you and Tom.
“That’s fine, i don’t care anyway.” Tom said running a hand through his hair while letting go of your hand, leaning against the railing. The boys stared at you and gave you a sympathetic smile as they walked away to get some drinks. You fidgeted with your fingers as you walked towards him. You stood next to him as you rubbed one hand on his bicep making him relax.
“Are you okay? You seemed a bit annoyed back there.” you said softly looking at him waiting for him to make eye contact.
“Just frustrating, you know? We can’t go anywhere without being worried about what people may think if they see us... I’m tired of that.”
“Well we don’t have to hide anymore. You can show me off as much as you want.” you smiled as your hand ran through the hair at the back of his neck. He turned his head and smiled standing up straight pulling you towards him by your waist.
“So i can kiss you in public now?” he asked in a sexy voice making you smirk.
“Yes, you can.” and with that he leaned into a sweet kiss making you place your hands on his jaw. When you parted he chuckled and pecked your forehead turning back to the race.
“Okay guys, ew.” Tuwaine said as he walked closer to the couple. You all laughed and Tom put his arm over your shoulder. He never let go of you for the rest of the race. You all stayed in the box the whole time only leaving it to look around. Tuwaine had scheduled a boat ride for all of you after the race was over. You all walked to the docks being photographed as you made your way to the boat. Tom gripped your hand tighter as the camera’s clicked.
The ride was smooth and pleasant. Filled with jokes and business talk, coming from Tom of course. Harrison and Tuwaine took many pictures for the gram while Tom admired you the whole time. When you were making your way back, the sun was starting to set. Which meant that you had to go back to the hotel to get ready for dinner. You settled for a long summer dress with some wedge heels and your handbag.
When you walked out, putting everything in your purse, your perfume filled the room making Tom look up from his phone. He stared in awe as you stopped walking to close your purse.
“Okay, boys we ready?” you asked and lifted your head to see Tuwaine and Harrison on the sofa and Tom standing up to go to you.
“We’re ready, let’s go.” Harrison said as he stood up and walked out of the room followed by Tuwaine. Tom pulled you towards him by your waist and kissed you softly as your arms went over his shoulders to pull him closer.
“Mmm, you look so good.”
“I do?”
“Yes, you do. We’re gonna have fun when we get back.” he whispered into your ear and walked away leaving you in shock. You walked out of the room and met the guys at the elevator. The ride to the restaurant was filled with sexual tension between you and Tom. You crossed your legs and he immediately put his hand on it to grab and rub and touch. No one commented on it, which was surprising to you.
The place was fancy and decorated with fairy lights which you absolutely loved. You walked hand in hand with Tom as he waved at everyone who recognized him. Suddenly, he pulled out his phone and recorded a very funny story for his instagram. The dinner went smoothly with Tom’s hand never leaving your leg. Tension growing and growing as his hand squeeze your thigh from time to time.
A few hours later, you were all back at the hotel room. You took of your heels letting out a breath of relief as Tom took off his long sleeve turtleneck sweater. You stood up and started taking off your dress when you felt a hot breath hitting your neck. His calloused hands going over your waist to pull you closer.
“What are you doing?” you asked as you turned your head to look at Tom.
“I told you we were gonna have fun.” he mumbled into your shoulder. You turned to him in his arms and kissed him as his hand went to the back of your dress, pulling down the zipper slowly. The kiss turned animalistic as each of your hands explored each other’s bodies. Making that night incredible fun.

“to think such an honourable knight such as you, the cavalry captain of mondstat, is now begging to cum. how shameful of you,” you let out a low chuckle as a provocative smile broke out on your lips, “i wonder what citizens would say if they saw their beloved and oh so admirable kaeya in this position?”
as a captain of the ordo favonius, you were a bright figure to the people of mondstat. a person who aided in saving the city from destruction, one of the heroes that defeated storm terror. of course, other knights had nothing but respect for you as your skill and talent was nothing short of impressive. many looked at you with a high regard due to your strength and position, this meant that many were intimidated by your presence and therefore fear approaching you.
however, there was one person who disregarded this and stuck by you anyways, kaeya alberich, the cavalry captain. out of everyone in the knights of favonius, you were the closest with kaeya. you enjoyed his company a lot, he was an interesting person who knew how to keep a conversation going, and while you're with him you could never find yourself feeling bored. he was as charming as he was cunning.
kaeya found himself enjoying your company too. the two of you have done lots of things together. going on missions, getting away with “knighty” duty, babysitting klee, and drinking at angels share. you know, all the fun things in life.
kaeya was a secretive person, and while you were curious about him, you respected his boundaries. perhaps this was the reason why he drew you in, besides his blaringly good looks of course.
there was no doubt that the man was attractive from head to toe. his silky navy blue hair fell down his shoulder with grace, his fringe complemented his smooth, flawless sepia toned face. his periwinkle eye held the sheen of a crystal, glistening as his long eyelashes framed it with poise. the diamond shaped pupils his eyes possessed could leave you in a trance forever. his open white shirt left his cleavage on display, contrasted with the black corset around his slim, slim waist. his slender legs brought him around with confidence and charisma.additionally, the intricate accessories he wore suited his personality well. all in all, kaeya was a pretty little thing.
all of this lead up to you harbouring romantic feelings for the cavalry caption. how could you not feel anything? he was perfect in every way.
the sound of kaeya’s voice snapped you out of your thinking. “y/n, any missions today?”
“nothing for you i don’t think, i gotta help jean with the paperworks though.” you sighed at the thought of a mountain of paperwork.
“great, well i’m off then you have fun doing whatever.” kaeya smirked at you, poking fun at your dread.
he started to turn around and walk off but you had other plans.
“wait. kaeya-” you speak quickly.
“hm?” he hummed out.
“angels share? 9pm?”
a quizzical look washed over his face before he masked it with one of his cunning smiles.
“alright.”
little did kaeya know you had more in mind than just drinking with him tonight. today would be the day when you finally told him about your little crush on him.
night quickly arrived after a day of working with jean. you were pretty exhausted but still excited about what's about to happen later tonight. when you entered the bar, Kaeya was already waiting for you at the counter talking with the bartender, charles.
“ah, i see mr.l/n is here too. Your usual today as well sir?”
“yah that’d be nice, thanks charles.” you said as you took a seat next to kaeya
“you got it.” charles said as he left to go get your drink.
angel's share was the place you and kaeya loved the most. the kind of noisy background with people chatting. cyrus and jack talking about their gains for today, six-fingered jose still playing his lyre, the song was getting a little old but you didn’t mind, in fact if he changed the song you probably wouldn’t be used to it.
“so, what’s the special occasion for today? you usually don’t invite me to drink on weekdays.” kaeya said while swirling his drink and glancing over at you.
kaeya’s eyes always amazed you. you didn’t know the name of the grey-ish color but you could gaze into them forever. his smooth skin glowed under the dim lighting in the bar. you loved everything about the man, his dark blue hair, his perfectly shaped body, and the fact that you could see a little bit of his clothing. what kaeya said on the first day when you guys met was true, you did feel something for him.
“hm? can i not invite fellow knights to share a drink once in while without a special occasion.”
“well, not wrong there but…you seem like you have ulterior motives for tonight from the way you’re dressing.” kaeya said, smirking at you.
it was true, you purposely chose one of your best outfits today for kaeya, you wanted to impress the man not only from your combat skills, but also your looks. there was no secret you could hide from kaeya. he knew you too well and he always looked right through you. it could have just been kaeya’s observant nature but you like to hope it was something more than that.
“you’re right there, you really do know me too well, maybe i need to start hiding things from you a little huh?”
“you can try but i highly doubt it’ll work in your favour, mr.honorary knight.”
both of you looked at each other with a slight smirk as charles arrived with your drink. after drinking for a good while you could tell kaeya was getting a little tipsy. his movements were unstable, he shaked a little while walking and his eyes started to become hazy. what better time than right now to reveal your true plans for tonight, you were gonna fuck the shit out of the beautiful man. you wanted to hear him scream your name in pleasure as you break him, over and over again.
“why don’t we go somewhere else? y’know, somewhere more, quiet” you suggested while scooting closer to kaeya.
“i wouldn’t mind that.”
as soon as you heard those words you immediately got up and left with kaeya. your plan was going perfectly and the best part is about to come soon. kaeya wasn’t stupid, he was an adult afterall and he knew what you were trying to do. dressing up all sexy like that, getting drinks, going somewhere more “private”, what else could it have been.
the two of you arrived in your house and headed straight for your bedroom. kaeya has been to your house many times for many reasons and he knew where everything was so he didn’t trip or fall.
you placed a light kiss on kaeya’s lips while he laid on your bed.
“wait here~ i’ll be right back.”
this was where things would get, interesting
you opened your fridge to grab a small wooden bowl. the content inside was covered by a small white cloth. after grabbing that you went to grab some rope from a drawer you hid them in because you didn’t know what to say if someone saw those items in your house.
after bringing the items back you put them on the side and pushed kaeya down.
“what’re those?” he asked
(its a surprise tool that’ll help us later.)
“don’t worry about it sweetheart, just lay back and let me do the work alright?”
you brought a blush to kaeya’s face with your flirty words as he gave you a small nod, signalling you consent and approval. you kept invading kaeya’s mouth over and over again, you’re tongue so skillful kaeya was sure this definitely wasn’t your first time. the kisses ended after a while leaving both of you panting and a half an erection in your pants. wanting more, you began to take off kaeya’s uniform. his skin is so beautiful, you could also see his well defined body, just the perfect amount, not too buff, not too skinny. you licked your lips a little bit and looked up at kaeya with a smirk. when you put your mouth onto kaeya’s pink nipples, he squealed a little out of surprise but soft moans soon began to escape from his mouth.
“a-ah~ didn’t know you had this in you, honorary knight.”
“oh i know a lot more tricks that can make you feel good~” you teased.
as you continued to suck on kaeya’s smooth skin, you decided to spice things up a little bit. kaeya yelped as he felt a slight pain around his nipples. you remove your mouth to see a bite mark around it.
“to mark you as mine~”
“tch, you cocky little bastard.”
seeing the tent building up in kaeya’s pants, you decided to take them off and grant it some release. after you took off kaeya’s jeans you saw a small stain at the top of his boxers, showing that he felt good earlier.
“alright... this is where the fun part begins.” you said as you grabbed the ropes you initially put on the floor.
“restraining me? go ahead, let’s see if the honorary knight is all talk or he actually has something up his sleeve.” kaeya taunted
not liking his attitude, you forcefully tied kaeya’s hands behind his back and pushed him to the end of the bed facing you with nothing on but his boxers. now, the mighty kaeya alberich, is at your mercy.
“alright, we can do this in two ways. one, you listen to me, second, i don’t think you’ll like what’ll happen,”
kaeya raised his head a little and looked you dead in the eyes.
“i choose the second option”
you knew kaeya was the bratty type and it’ll only add to the fun to tame him. after hearing his choice you pushed kaeya back to where he was before and uncovered the bowl you had prepared earlier on the side. the bow was filled with medium sized ice cubes and it was till now that kaeya finally realized what you were trying to do.
“ice cubes huh? bring it on.”
“you asked for it~”
you grabbed one of the ice cubes and started to rub it on kaeya’s pecs, making circular motions and slowing moving towards the center where his nipples are.
“f-fuck that’s cold.”
you saw kaeya’s cock twitch a little when you first reached his nipples and you knew he was feeling good. moving on with your plan, you rested the ice cube on kaeya’s nipples and lifted his boxers where his cock is still covered but his asshole is exposed to you. right after that, you grabbed the lube that has been sitting in your nightstand and spread them on your fingers. without mercy you put 2 fingers into kaeya, trying to find his pleasure spot. sooner or later when kaeya started to let out tiny moans you knew you hit your target.
“feels good huh baby boy~”
“y-yah, and so what o-oh fuck~”
kaeya was sure feeling it, to a point where he started stuttering.
the constant teasing got kaeya close to his limit. he couldn’t hold it any longer. but you’re not gonna let him cum that easy are you? of course not, he needed to be punished for what he did earlier.
“a-ah y/n i’m gonna cum i’m gonna cum so hard- wait why'd you s-stop?” kaeya asked
“you decided to be a brat earlier didn’t you~? bad boys get punishment.” you said with a smirk on your face.
kaeya stayed silent, not a word coming out of his mouth, head hung low feeling embarrassed.
“maybe~ if you begged a little i might reconsider, don’t you think so, pretty boy?”
kaeya finally lost his composure at this point, all he wanted was to cum from your touch.
“fine... i don’t care anymore.” kaeya growled.
“p-please y/n.” kaeya looked up at you with pleading eyes. “i want to c-cum, i want to cum so bad. i should’ve been a good boy from the beginning… i promise i’ll be obedient from now on, j-just please, let me cum…” kaeya begged
“that’s what i thought.”
satisfied with kaeya’s begging, you decided to grant him his release. you added another ice cube to the other side of kaeya’s chest while stroking his dick through his boxers. of course you didn’t forget to keep teasing kaeya’s prostate while you were at it. all these different stimulations made kaeya lose his mind. the male came through his boxers all over the place. semen spilled on his own stomach and chest followed with moans so loud the entire mondstat could hear him.
after he settled himself down a little, kaeya waited for you to untie him. you exchanged a kiss with him while you were doing so, smiling at each other thinking about what just happened. neither of you cared about the mess that you made because you guys were tired. listening to the birds chirp, you fell asleep with the dark blue haired male on your bed.
the two of you woke up in the afternoon to the noises of mondstat. you woke up a little before kaeya and from your point of view he was literally a sleeping beauty. you stroked his hair a little bit, causing him to wake up.
"y/n…good morning handsome."
"right back at you."
both of you giggled a little while holding hands.
"hey kaeya?"
"yes y/n."
"i've been meaning to get this off my chest and i don't think there will be a better time to say it than now."
"well go ahead, i'm all ears."
"you were the only one that ever stuck with me in the knights, everyone was afraid of me due to my strength except for you. you listened to me, you talked to me, and if it weren't for you i probably would've quit the job at the knights already." you took a deep breath and let out the words kaeya were waiting for.
"kaeya alberich... will you he my boyfriend?"
kaeya gave you a small scoff as a reaction and a light kiss to your lips.
"what reason do i have to refuse such a perfect man?."

🍭 🍭 🍭
The floor length mirror was trimmed with twisted gold. You stared at your reflection as your shaky hands pressed against the front of the ivory dress. The cut hid the small bump but you could not forget it. Ever since you confessed, it all happened so fast; the wedding was pushed up, the dress tailored and expedited, and invitations sent out in a rush.
It all felt surreal. The day had come but you just couldn’t accept it. How could you go through those doors and smile through it all?
You closed your eyes and let your breath out. They would knock when it was your time. Your father would be waiting to walk you down the aisle. The guests waited eagerly for the most talked about ceremony in the city. And you still felt like just a footnote in your own wedding.
You moved away from the mirror and sat unsteadily, gripping the arms of the cushioned chair, careful not to catch your veil under you. That night you told him, that was the final straw. But you didn’t forget what Sasha said. You took a picture of the broken door and wrote down the entire scene. You sent it to yourself in an email as proof.
That wasn’t the last time. You recorded Steve one day when he came in as you were texting your sister about the new date. You hadn’t answered his last message about your first appointment with the doctor. He was livid and you sat and listened to him rant as the red dots pulsed. You wrote down every instance, every time he made you appease him, every terrifying word.
Then there were the police reports. Nothing more than words in a filing cabinet but the night he choked you was just the beginning. He threatened to break your finger when you took your ring off because your hands were swelling. Then he broke your laptop when you didn’t pay him enough attention.
As the wedding loomed closer, he only seemed to get worse. He was clingy, always touching you, marveling over your stomach. He checked in almost every hour on the hour when he was working, and you weren’t stupid enough not to notice that the building was being watched.
It was like you were living two lives and yet you were entirely trapped with him. What good could the emails do? Or the reports when the police wouldn’t act on them? You were going to marry this man and that would be the end of it; of you, of your life.
Knuckles tapped on the door and you stood. You crossed the room and inched it open the door. You flinched as you were met by an unexpected and uninvited guest.
“Sasha?” you gasped.
“You’re marrying him then?” he held the handle but you didn’t try to close the door, “the account gone, I heard nothing from you.”
“I… I’m scared,” you admitted, “when he found out, I thought he was going to--” you shook your head. He wouldn’t actually kill you.
“You know it’s not too late,” Sasha urged.
“You can’t be here, it he finds out, he’ll--”
“I’ll defend myself,” Sasha snarled uncharacteristically, “I’ll give him what he deserves.’
“No, I don’t want you to get hurt. You need to go,” you begged as you glanced past him furtively.
“I will. Come with me,” he said, “just go. Everyone’s distracted, they won’t know--”
“I can’t just leave. You don’t understand--”
“No, you don’t understand,” he argued, “if you marry him, it all gets so much more complicated. I told you that day at the café. It will be harder to fight after the vows, but right now, you can still get out.”
“And go where?”
He swallowed and looked down the hall. You could hear the distant murmur of the crowd.
“Did you do any of it? Keep a journal? Something?” he asked.
“I tried. I went to the police but nothing,” you sniffed and gripped the door tight.
“Nothing yet but that’s a start,” he chewed the inside of his lip.
“Why are you here? Why is this so important to you?”
“Because I can do something,” he hissed, “because I can’t live with it if I don’t. So come on. Come with me, I got a bigger place. It’ll have to do for now and then we’ll work on getting you standing, getting the baby somewhere to grow--”
“Am I trading him for you?”
“I’m your friend,” he said evenly, “that will never change. All I want is you safe. If it makes you feel better, I’ll sleep in the hall. You can lock me out and I’ll sleep against the door. But I came down here knowing I wouldn’t leave without you.”
“It’s a sweet fantasy but--”
“Come on,” he grabbed your hand and pushed the door open, “please, don’t go with him. It doesn’t end well. You don’t get out. It doesn’t get better.”
“I have nothing,” you quavered.
“You have me,” he said, “please don’t make me walk out of here alone.”
“I….” you uttered as your heart squeezed. “He’ll come after you.”
“Good, I want him to,” he clung to you, “please?”
You inhaled and heard the voices. Your father and your sister. You had no time to think but you knew it was your only chance.
“Let’s go,” you lifted your skirt and pulled the door shut behind you as you stepped out, “now.”
He held onto your hand as you rushed away from the voices and skirted around the corner. Sasha urged you on down the back stairs and through the maze like halls of the extravagant church. You nearly tumbled down the stairs and he caught you as you came along the narrow passage beside the main room, the guests and groom just on the other side of the wall.
You came out into the sunlight and Sasha lifted the train of your skirts as he directed you over the grass. our heels sank into the dirt as you rushed over and the organ began to play Here Comes the Bride. As he helped stuff the swathes of fabric in behind you in his modest car, the music stopped suddenly.
He closed the door as you were squished in the back seat amid your layered skirts and he got in the front. The engine turned and he nearly side swept another car as he pulled out without looking. You peeked back behind you but saw no one coming down the large steps of the church.
He turned the corner and sidled in behind a yellow cab. He looked at you in the mirror and nodded. You bit your lips nervously as reality sank in. Your chest hammered and your entire body buzzed with adrenaline. You knew it was only the beginning.
🍭
The day passed in a daze. You sat in your wedding dress waiting for all hell to break loose. Sasha sat with a beer, silently, and tapped his foot endlessly. When the silence was too much, he turned on the television but neither of you paid any attention to the old sitcom.
When the trance of disbelief dissipated, he showed you around his spacious loft. He was being paid well by Stark but you worried how long he would stay on the payroll after what he’d done. Steve wasn’t stupid and there were more photographers at the church then you’d seen collectively over the last year and a half.
“This is the second bedroom,” he showed you into a room with gleaming windows. There was a bed, a dresser, curtains, a cozy rug, all carefully selected, “I thought you’d be here sooner.”
Your eyes lingered on the box leaned against the far wall. A crib.
“Didn’t know how long…” his voice trailed off as he followed your eye line, “I’m not trying to be him. You can go anytime but I… you have a place here.”
Your eyes welled and you blotted them with your knuckles, the rough lace of your gloves scratching your cheeks, “you did all this for me?”
“I told you, I’d do anything,” he said.
“But… Sasha, I don’t--”
“I don’t expect anything from you. High school was a long time ago but you made it bearable for the biggest dweeb in the class.” He sighed and paced a circle around the room, “you know, I had the biggest crush on you. That doesn’t mean anything now, it doesn’t mean I want you to fall into my arms, but it means I want to help you. It’s the right thing to do, somehow I made a career of doing the right thing so what’s one more?”
You felt your chest sink and you covered your cheeks with your hands, “Sasha?”
“Please,” he cringed, “I was a teen boy, I think I had a thing for Oprah once. Really, it’s just… we’re friends. We’ll always be friends.”
“I can’t…” you sniffled and dropped your hands, “I don’t deserve any of this.”
“He doesn’t deserve you,” Sasha intoned, “and you don’t deserve to live like that. I know this isn’t much but I know you. You’ll find your way, you just got a little lost.”
“I…” you shook your head speechless.
“We’ll figure everything else out tomorrow. You can borrow some of my clothes for tonight and then we can see about retrieving your things from Steve,” he neared the door and stopped beside you, “or we can say fuck it and you can start all over.”
You turned and slung your arms around him. You buried your face against his shoulder as tears spilled out onto his jacket.
“How did you know?” you sobbed.
“That day at the shower,” he rubbed your back gently, “you know, lawyers learn how to read people and you never were very good at subtlety.”
“No,” you chuckled through your tears, “No, it’s why I was great as a bard.”
“Mmm,” he grumbled, “if that’s how you remember it.”
🍭
It felt like Sasha was gone forever but when you checked the clock, it had only been twenty minutes.
You sat on the couch with your feet under you as you watched the news and rocked nervously. All anyone was talking about was Steve Rogers’ runaway bride. Your face was everywhere and the statement issued by Steve made it all the worse.
He painted you as a gold-digger, as an adulterer, as a swindler. He was the heartbroken fiancé and you were the wrongdoer. You knew it would go this way but expectation never softened reality.
You flinched as the lock turned and Sasha entered with a bag in hand. He came to the couch and set it down beside you.
“I don’t know about my taste in women's clothes but those should do,” he said as he checked his watch, “we should go soon.”
“Yeah,” you stood and opened the bag to reveal the lavender blouse and dark jeans, “you really didn’t have to--”
“You kidding, he’s gonna be surrounded by cameras. You can’t win his game if you don’t play it. I’ve dealt with his type before, they’re the ones who need lawyers on standby,” he sneered, “did you eat?”
“Yeah, thanks,” you swiped up the bag and headed for the hallway, “it was good.”
“No problem,” he shrugged as he grabbed the remote and shut off the tv, “and ignore all that nonsense.”
You got dressed and emerged as your anxiety grew to impatience. You left the apartment in brittle silence and the car ride fed the uneasy bubbling of your stomach. .
As you came up to Steve’s building, you sat for a moment before you got out. Sasha followed and shoulder away the cameras as you neared the front door
The elevator moved slowly and fidgeted uncontrollably as it dinged on Steve’s floor. You swallowed and braced yourself to face Steve. Sasha kept a few feet back as you walked down the hall and stopped at the door. You knocked as you found it locked.
It was a while before it opened but when it did, you were startled as Steve grabbed the front of your blouse and wrenched you inside. He spun you but quickly released you as he was knocked off balance and sent sprawling over the floor. Sasha stood above him with his hands in fists.
“Hey,” he pointed at Steve then looked at you, “you okay?”
You nodded as Steve glared between the two of you and cautiously got to his feet, “so you brought your little boyfriend?”
“She’s here to get her stuff. We thought we’d avoid a police escort, as her lawyer I thought it prudent, but we can always make that phone call,” Sasha said sternly, “she is entitled to her possessions.”
“Her stuff? I paid for every single thing she has to her name. Hers? Mine.” Steve spat and reared on you again, only to be caught by Sasha as he inserted himself between you.
“You will not touch her again. Those things you bought for her were gifts. You have no legal rights to them once they are given. She will take her clothes, her phone, and any other necessities.”
“Pfft, she’s not taking anything. She’s not going anywhere,” Steve growled, “she not yours--”
“I am certain the photogs would appreciate a show,” Sasha pulled out his phone, “police? That can only be a domestic dispute.”
Steve squinted and his nose flared as he looked at you over Sasha’s shoulder, “fucking slut.” He crossed his arms and stepped aside, “get your shit, get out…” he hissed, “but I have my rights too. You will not keep me from my baby.”
“That will be settled in court,” Sasha replied coolly, “go on, get your things.”
He waved you past him as he kept you shield from Steve. He was of a height with Steve but not as broad. Even so, you felt safe behind him. You rushed down to the bedroom and quickly gathered up your toiletries and those clothes you didn’t absolutely hate. Your phone screen was shattered but you took it anyway.
As you emerged again, a bag slung on your shoulder, you slid the ring from your finger.
“You can keep the rest,” you said as you placed the band on the small round table just inside the front room, “goodbye Steve.”
“Goodbye? Goodbye?” he spat, “this isn’t the end and you fucking know it.”
“Calm down,” Sasha warned.
“You don’t tell me what to do,” Steve shoved him, “I should fucking smash your head in--”
“I’d like you to try,” Sasha stood his ground, “really. You think the court would let a violent man be around an infant?”
Steve scoffed and rolled his eyes. He backed down and shouldered by Sasha. “Get the fuck out.”
You left quickly. You had no desire to hang around. As you stepped onto the elevator, Sasha softly touched your elbow and you winced. The bag fell to your elbow and he quickly scooped it up and heaved it over his own shoulder.
“You okay?” he asked.
“No, I don’t think so,” you said, “he was so angry. I--”
“I was stupid, we should’ve brought the police. Fuck the cameras,” he said, “from this point on, no contact with him whatsoever. Only through me and the court. No talking to reporters, no nothing.”
“Yeah, that won’t be hard,” you uttered as he led you out of the elevator.
As you came outside, cameras flashed and voices called out. You collided with Sasha as he was blocked by a photographer shouting questions, “is it true you’re pregnant? Is it Steve’s?”
“My client will not be answering questions,” Sasha kept on and made a path for you, “go, she’s not answering any of your questions.”
He elbowed past more cameras and opened the car door for you. You fell inside and quickly huddled down in your seat. As he sat behind the wheel, he mumbled and pulled out into traffic. He gripped the wheel tightly and pushed himself back into the vinyl.
“That asshole,” he said, “he’s gonna want the paternity test. This isn’t gonna be pretty.”
“I can’t… he fucking told them. I mean, I’m not surprised but… god,” you grimaced.
“We’ll get the test done before he makes a formal request,” Sasha said, “it shows transparency and when we hand over those results, we’ll include those police reports too.”
“Police reports?” you blinked.
“Sorry, I… It’s a suggestion,” he said tersely, “but he’s going to make this a trial by media.”
“No, no, I want to,” you said firmly, “I want everyone to know the real Steve Rogers.”
🍭
‘I was just like many struggling in the city. I worked a low-paying job in data entry and lived in an apartment which was little more than a box. The dreams of the big city were passing me by as there was little opportunity to be found.
Then I met Steve Rogers. Like a dream or a Lifetime movie. I was in debt, I was desperate, and he offered me a safety net. I can own my part in the relationship; I was interested and I accepted his generosity. I was all too happy with the arrangement.
That was until I found out that it was all based on a lie. I didn’t know that he had access to my accounts even before I knew him, that he had used his connections to force me into that dire situation. And I could not know the real man behind the billionaire façade.
It was little things at first. Any woman loves to feel wanted but his possessiveness soon turned to control. He kept me isolated from my own family and did not permit me to do anything without his permission. His affection turned to obsession and when it was not reciprocated he forced it from me.
He took me on vacation and did not allow me to wear clothes. He chose what I wore, how I looked, and what I did. He coerced me into acts I was reluctant about, and when he was too rough, he did not listen to my pleas for him to stop.
When I tried to leave him, he followed me and dragged me back. He had me watched by PIs and surveilled all my communications. He used his financial power to control me and when that did not work, he used his physical power.
Steve Rogers abused me. He yelled in my face, he threatened my family, and he choked me.
Steve Rogers raped me. He expected me to bend to his will whenever he desired and when I refused, he held me down and did what he wanted.
Steve Rogers took my whole life and when I chose to leave, he set his eyes on the life inside of me.
The only thing I want from him is freedom. I want to live safely with my child and I want that child to never experience the abuse of their father. I never want anyone to know that horror again which is why I have written this and released the police records. I am not asking for anything but peace for me and my unborn child.’
The statement was carefully edited by Sasha. You reread the font across the glossy pages of Vanity Fair, the article spliced with excerpts not only from the police reports, but your own emailed accounts of your relationship, and the whole thing began with an image of that broken bathroom door.
It was two months since you ran away from the altar but life was not a romcom. It was a disaster. Even with the article, you knew not all would believe you. You knew it would open you to doubt and vitriol. And you knew Steve would have a response.
You closed the magazine and groaned as you rubbed your hips. Freedom didn’t feel so… freeing. There was a long way to go; court dates, doctor’s appointment, and depositions. But it was a start.
You rested your hand on your stomach and pushed on the arm of the couch as you stood stiffly. When you were halfway up, you felt a hand on your elbow and Sasha helped you stand straight. You smiled guiltily. You’d grown a lot in the last few weeks and still had nearly four months to go.
“The reviews are good,” he said, “I know that is kinda grim but… people seem to believe you.”
“Seem to?” you echoed as you went to the kitchen and pulled out the container of sliced strawberries, “or they don’t?”
“Well,” he leaned on the counter as he watched you add too much cream to the berries and smiled, “Stark Industries has cut ties with Shield, Inc. and Tony has made a sizeable donation to several shelters across the city,” he cupped his chin coyly as he leaned on his elbow, “and will be covering legal costs for the support hearings seeing as I can’t legally represent you anymore.”
“Oh,” your mouth fell open before you could spray some cream onto your tongue, “when were you going to tell me this?”
“I’m telling you now,” he crossed his arms as he shifted them further over the island, “I thought I’d give the good news first.”
“And the bad?” you put down the can of cream as you neared the marble across from him.
“I have several requests for interviews and I think you should do at least one,” he said, “I know you hate reporters and all that but… with a little Rogers baby on board, it’s just another part of the process.”
“Oh, and what should I tell them,” you edged around the counter towards him, “that I moved? That I found someone better?” He turned to you, his lips curved as he leaned in and you turned your face up to peck his lips, “or maybe I should tell them I’m single? Keep the intrigue?”
“As long as you tell them I’m handsome, I don’t mind,” he purred as he placed his hand on your side.
“Oh, how could I leave that out?” you cooed and kissed him again, “patient, loving, kind… but what a geek?”
“A geek?” he smirked and framed your chin with his hands, “says the dungeon master.”
You giggled and ran your hands up his chest, “someone’s gotta raise this little bard well.”
“Oh, no, no, she’s not gonna be a bard. Maybe a cleric?”
“No way! That’s lame,” you chirped, “how about… a sorcerer? Ours is a bit lacking.”
“Excuse you,” he quipped, “what was your AC again? Maybe next session I’ll run out of healing spells.”
“See?” you taunted, “geek.”
You drew him to you until he was pressed to your belly and he swept you up in a kiss. You rocked with him as he turned you against the counter and slowly parted.
You squeezed his wrist as you went back around to your strawberries and cream. You took a spoon and scooped up a mouthful as you slid your phone towards you. Sasha stayed as he was, watching you scroll through the emails and piled up texts.
You stopped as one blared in all caps. There was no name, only ‘Private’. You opened the conversation and found a dozen bubbles; ‘THIS ISN’T OVER’, ‘HE CAN’T KEEP YOUR FROM ME’, ‘CUTE, YOU THINK PEOPLE BELIEVE YOUR SHIT.’ Another message blipped up, an image and you dropped your spoon as it opened.
You saw the picture of your sister and her son. You shook as you put your hand down on the counter and choked on the cream.
“What?” Sasha reached over and turned your phone to him, “Shit,” he sighed and blocked the number, “he’s just stacking the evidence against himself.”
“I--” you blinked as tears boiled behind your eyes.
“You don’t need to be afraid,” he screencapped the conversation, “this just makes the case even easier.”
“No, I will always be afraid of him,” you said as you touched your stomach, “it’s not just about me anymore.”
“And it’s not just you anymore,” he took your hand and rubbed the back of it with his thumb, “we’ve been through worse. If we can get through a cave full of orcs, we can defeat Steve Rogers.”

I Was A Bet, You Were A Distraction (K.SJ/M.YG)
Warnings : swearing, drinking, betting on feelings
Word Count : 4941
Synopsis : a relationship started on a bet, a classic trope, but with a twist.
I knew the rumours that circulated about me. I knew what everyone thought of me, but it never bothered me. Being an ice queen and keeping everyone at an arms length keeps my heart safe. Guys still tried to break me, wanting to be known as the person who broke the ice queen, but I’ve never cracked.
“Another rejection?” My best friend, Park Jimin, pouted as he sat across from me. “You really should give someone a chance. You’re obviously not going to make a move on library guy.”
“His name is Min Yoongi.” I cut him off, a playful smile on my face as he rolled his eyes. “Besides, that guy was gross. He literally told me he could show me a fun time if I just showed him a pretty smile.”
“Okay, gross.” Jimin chuckled. “But please, if a non-gross guy asks you out, just give it a shot. They could surprise you.” I rolled my eyes, reluctantly agreeing to the only guy I’ve ever had a soft spot for.
“Hey, Y/N.” Someone said as Jimin and I were getting ready to leave the café and grab dinner. When I turned around, I met the eyes of the infamous Kim Seokjin, standing there with a nervous smile on his face. “I was wondering if you wanted to get dinner with me sometime?” His eyes looked hopeful, but it didn’t phase me. I heard the rumours; heard the stories of the many girls he’s been with. I refused to be another notch in his belt. But before I could reject him, Jimin jumped in.
“She’d love to!” Seokjin looked over to my best friend who had thrown his arm across my shoulders, and then looked at me for confirmation.
“Sure, Kim Seokjin.” I didn’t bother faking a smile. I’m sure he’d heard the rumours about me. I’m sure he just wants to be the one to crack me. He’s always enjoyed a challenge.
“Great! Uh, here’s my number. Text me.” He handed me a piece of paper ripped from a notebook with his number scrawled on it. I took it from him, telling him I’d text him later, and walked away as fast as I could.
“I thought you said non-gross guy, Jimin!” I hit him lightly as we walked away from the café. “Kim Seokjin is one of the grossest!”
“Yes, but he’s got money, babe. I did you a favour.” He lightly shoved me with his shoulder, and I couldn’t help but laugh and roll my eyes. I suppose one date couldn’t hurt. I’ll get some good food out of it at the very least.
*
“Here, drink some water.” Yoongi looked up at me from his textbooks with wide eyes. He quietly thanked me as I took my usual seat across from him. I took quick glances up at him every once in a while as I studied, thinking about the first day I took the seat across from him.
I used to study at the café as I waited for Jimin to get out of dance. But random guys would always interrupt me, and I found myself barely getting any studying done. So I decided to study at the library for a couple hours before heading to the café to meet Jimin per our tradition.
Min Yoongi, known as the ice king, would always sit alone. Sitting with him was my best bet in getting any work done, knowing he wouldn’t bother me. He seemed annoyed when I first sat down, but when he saw it was me, didn’t say a word. No one dared bothered us when we were together.
It didn’t take a genius to see how handsome Min Yoongi was. I always found myself sneaking glances at him while we studied, unable to keep my eyes off of him. We spoke a few words to each other over these last few months, and that was enough for me to give into my growing crush.
“Hey, Y/N?” He softly asked as I began packing up. I seized my movements, looking up at the gorgeous man I can’t stop thinking about. “I heard you were the best at this, would you mind tutoring me sometime? I’ve been having a hard time grasping it.” He pointed to a homework booklet he was given that was still completely blank save for his name in the top right corner.
“I got to go meet up with a friend, but,” I ripped a corner off from one of my notebooks and quickly scrawled my number on it, sliding it across from him. “Text me and we can figure something out.” He looked up at me with a small smile on his face, and I could swear time stopped. I quickly shook myself out of the trance his smile put me in and packed up the rest of my books before walking to the café, a lovesick smile on my face.
*
I was dressed in my best dress, my hair and makeup done to the best of my abilities, and I couldn’t help but smile at myself in the mirror. “Who knew my best friend was so hot.” Jimin joked over Facetime, a playful smile on his face.
“I can’t believe you convinced me to actually go on a date with Kim Seokjin.” I grumbled, collapsing on my couch as I waited for him.
“It didn’t take much convincing. I know apart of you is excited to live the rich life for one night.” I giggled, but we both knew he was right. When the doorbell rang, I said my goodbyes to Jimin and went to answer it, surprised to see Seokjin standing there in a tailored suit holding a bouquet of flowers.
“Wow, you look, wow.” I chuckled, taking the flowers he was holding out for me. Quickly, I filled a vase with water and placed them inside before sliding on a pair of heels and grabbing my purse.
“You know you could have just texted that you were here.” I pointed out as he opened the car door for me.
“How am I supposed to sweep you off your feet if I do that?” He smiled before closing the door and rushing to his side.
As much as I hate to admit it, I actually enjoyed the time I spent with Jin. He was a complete gentleman right up to the end. And there wasn’t any awkward silence; conversation seemed to flow easily. I found myself laughing at his jokes and his stories. Time just seemed to fly by while I was with him as he wasn’t dropping me off until after midnight. “You certainly surprised me tonight, Kim Seokjin.” I smiled.
“Does that mean you’ll go on a second date with me?” I found myself agreeing before I could stop myself. Maybe this is exactly what I needed to get over my one-sided crush on Min Yoongi. He’d be a good distraction.
*
“I hear our resident Ice Queen got a boyfriend.” Yoongi teased as I sat across from him. Ever since our first date, Jin and I have been spending more time together. I still keep up my regular schedule of studying with Yoongi until I have to leave to meet up with Jimin, but Jin and his friends have decided to join us. It’s been 2 months since my first date with Jin, and 1 month since we’ve made it official.
“Now it’s time for our resident Ice King to get a girlfriend.” I teased back, taking a sip of the coffee Yoongi bought me. He’s made it a daily thing, buying my favourite coffee before I come, and I bring us water since we’re usually here for a couple hours together.
“Unlikely.” He chuckled. My heart started to pound as I looked up at his smiling face. “The girl I like doesn’t like me back.” He added before taking a sip of his own coffee.
“Oh my god! The Min Yoongi has a crush!” I quietly exclaimed, a wide smile on my face as I wrapped a hand around his wrist, begging him to tell me about the girl he likes.
“She’s beautiful.” He says, blush rising to his cheeks. “But I can tell she doesn’t believe she is. And she’s so smart, so kind. There really isn’t a better girl.” I thought dating Jin would help my one-sided crush on Yoongi, but as I sit across from him as he tells me about this girl he likes, I can feel my heart breaking, knowing it’ll never be me.
*
I stood in the kitchen while the party raged on around me. Since dating Jin, Jimin and I have been invited to a lot more parties, parties I keep getting dragged to. I watched as Jimin drank and made new friends, enjoying himself, and I couldn’t be happier for him. I watched as Jin and his friends played some games, laughing and drinking the night away. They’ve always been the life of the party, and though I don’t like parties, I wasn’t going to stop my boyfriend from enjoying himself. So I stood in the kitchen, watching as everyone enjoys themselves, silently wishing I took Yoongi up on his offer to see a movie tonight.
“Now don’t tell me this beautiful girl is here alone.” I looked up and met a stranger’s eyes as he smirked at me. “All alone, standing in my kitchen, must be fate.” He continued, draping an arm across my shoulders.
“Actually I’m here with my boyfriend.” I smiled, turning towards where Jin last was, and seeing that him and his friends disappeared. My heart dropped to my stomach when I couldn’t see them anywhere.
“No need to lie to me.” He teased, removing his arm from my shoulders, and instead wrapping it around my waist, pulling me closer to him as I tried to move away from him. “I’m sure I can show the Ice Queen a good time.”
“What are you doing, Minho?” The familiar voice eases my nerves but seems to do the opposite to Minho. His arm immediately drops from my waist as his eyes widen, meeting Yoongi’s eyes filled with anger. If I didn’t know Yoongi the way I do, I’d be terrified. When Yoongi raised his brow, Minho left the kitchen without another word. “Sorry about him. I’m still training him.” He chuckled. “Where’s Jin?” He asked, rubbing the back of his neck as he looked around for my boyfriend.
“What are you doing here?” I asked, ignoring his question. “I didn’t know Mr. Min Yoongi partied.” I teased, a smile making its way to my lips.
“I’m actually, unfortunately, apart of this frat. My dad actually started this frat with his friends, so I had no choice.” He explained, chuckling at my shocked face. “I really do apologize for Minho. I hope he didn’t make you too uncomfortable.”
“It’s okay, Yoongs. Thank you for saving me though. I don’t know where any of the guys went.” I took a quick look around, trying to see if I could any of the 6 guys I came with. “If you see any of them, can you let them know I went home? Parties really aren’t my thing.” I chuckled.
“I’ll take you home.” He said, setting the cup he was holding down on the counter. “Just text one of them to let them know you’re safe.” I nodded, closely following Yoongi as the two of us made our way through the dense crowd of people and out the front door. As we walked, I sent a quick text to both Jimin and Jin, letting them know Yoongi was walking me home.
“You know, you didn’t have to walk me home.” I spoke up after some silence. “It is technically your party; shouldn’t you be there?”
“Honestly, I try not to be home when there’s a party. It’s why I asked you to a movie tonight. Well that, and I like spending time with you.” My heart fluttered at his words. My head began spinning with theories as to what he meant. Would I be reading too far into it by thinking he has feelings for me too?
*
Monday afternoon, Yoongi was sitting at our regular table in the library, two coffees in front of him as per usual. “How’d your test go?” I asked, placing a bottle of water in front of him before taking my seat. He looked up at me as I sat down, a smile on his face when he met my eyes. So different than how things used to be.
“I won’t get the results until the end of the week, but I think I aced it!” He exclaimed. I remember the days we would study silently across from each other, not knowing anything about each other besides the rumours that circulated.
“Of course! You have the best tutor.” I joked, a wide smile on my face as he just smiled back at me, chuckling slightly, and shaking his head. I used to know absolutely nothing about him, besides the small things I heard from others, and the things I picked up on while silently crushing on him.
Now I know his smile. I know it so well I could probably draw it from memory. I know that his older brother would always cook for him. I know he’s not as close to his family as he wished he was. I know he struggles in his classes. I know he prefers iced coffee over hot coffee, and that he always forgets to drink water. He hates parties and spends most weekends at a diner, studying and trying to keep his grades up. I know he’s so far from being an Ice King. He’s so caring, so kind. And I know that I’m falling in love with him.
*
“I think it’s time we call it.” I overheard as I walked into the café I meet Jimin at everyday. I looked over to the tables Jin and his friends push together so the 7 of us can sit together, and saw the 5 of them sitting together, serious looks on all their faces.
“I love hanging out with her and Jimin.” Taehyung spoke, and I quickly sat at a nearby table, wanting to hear what they have to say. “You need to tell her about the bet.”
“A bet?! Seriously Jackson?” He stumbled over his words, trying to come up with a good excuse, but there wasn’t one. “Glad I could help you win. Don’t contact me again.” I pushed passed him as he called after me, but there wasn’t anything else that needed to be said. 2 years. I wasted 2 years of my life thinking we were in love, but it was all a bet. It was never love.
Jimin sat in front of me, snapping me out of my memories. He opened his mouth to say something, but I shushed him and pointed over to the guys.
“She’s so awesome. I feel so bad.” Jungkook added to the conversation. “She doesn’t deserve to have her feelings played with like this.”
“We can tell her everything and apologize. Hopefully, she’ll forgive us.” Jimin looked at me with confusion on his eyes as I struggled to breathe. It’s like high school all over again. When Jackson came into my life, stole my heart, and then destroyed me. Telling me he loved me, and planning our future, all the while laughing with his friends about how gullible I was. Jimin was the one to pull me out of my slump, but I put my walls up and I promised myself I’d never let them crumble. I’d never be so naïve again.
“I doubt she’d even care.” Jin scoffed. “She’s the Ice Queen for a reason.” Yet here I was, repeating it all over again.
“Just because she’s an Ice Queen doesn’t mean she doesn’t have feelings, hyung.” Hoseok spoke up, shaking his head. I’ll admit that the reason I started dating Jin wasn’t the best, but I found myself enjoying his company. Everything felt real, like he really cared about me. My feelings for Yoongi have always been stronger, but sometimes I felt myself falling for Jin’s charms. He’s not the school playboy for nothing. He really knows how to make a girl feel special. He knows how to knock down any wall someone has put up to protect themselves.
“Whatever. You guys can tell her about the bet then. While you’re at it, you can tell her we’re over. I have things to do.” He stood up from the table, and that’s when they all noticed Jimin and I sitting at a nearby table. Jin’s eyes widened when he saw us.
“You guys are all fucking disgusting.” Jimin exclaimed, standing up from the table. “You’re damn right she doesn’t deserve this. No one does! Y/N, let’s go.” His voice softened when he looked over at me, tears welling up in my eyes as I looked up at the man who bet on my heart. “They don’t deserve your tears, angel.” He whispered, wiping away my tears before grabbing my hand and dragging me out of the café.
“Talk about déjà vu.” I chuckled as we walked towards my apartment.
“Guys are the worst.” Jimin mumbled, shaking his head as the two of us walked hand in hand. I laced our fingers and walked closer beside him, swinging our arms causing him to chuckle at me.
“You’ve always been the exception to that statement, Min.” I smiled up at my best friend. I wasn’t in love with Jin the way I was with Jackson, but it doesn’t hurt any less. The crush that was forming on the handsome man quickly faded as the reality set in. Once again I was a bet. And I just wished people would stop making bets on my feelings.
*
“Don’t you usually leave by now?” Yoongi asked as the two of us studied together the next day. “The boyfriend is probably waiting for you.” He chuckled.
“We actually broke up.” His smile quickly fell as he spit out an apology. “It’s fine. The relationship was all a bet anyway.” I shrugged, trying my best not to let my feelings show. Trying to seem as unbothered as possible. “People love trying to break the Ice Queen.” Little do they know, the reason for my smiles wasn’t Kim Seokjin, but Min Yoongi, the Ice King himself.
“That’s so fucked. Guys are the worst.” He scoffed causing me to chuckle.
“That’s exactly what Jimin said.” I smiled.
“Talking about me?” Jimin joked, taking a seat beside me. “I hope you don’t mind if I intrude from now on.” The statement was directed towards Yoongi who shook his head. “Good, because if I see any of those guys, I will be throwing hands.”
“Please, Jungkook could beat you with just his pinky.” I teased, shoving him lightly. Yoongi was watching us with a fondness in his eyes I haven’t seen before. And I couldn’t stop the pounding of my heart, no matter how hard I tried.
*
Jimin continued meeting Yoongi and I at the library everyday after getting out of dance. At first I thought Yoongi would hate it as Jimin isn’t known for quietly studying like Yoongi and I are. But he quickly warmed up to my best friend, and 3 of us spent weekends going to movies and to the diner Yoongi loves to much. We avoided all the parties we were once invited to, and the café we were regulars at for so long, hoping never to cross paths with the guys we once considered friends.
My feelings for Yoongi only continued to grow as spent nearly everyday together. Days quickly turned into weeks, and before I knew it, it had been a month since Jin and I broke up. With Jimin and Yoongi with me everyday, I barely had time to feel the hurt I felt when it happened with Jackson. “Y/N.” 1 month since I found out about the bet. 1 month since I’ve seen any of the guys. 1 month and now Jin is standing in front of me. I moved to push passed him and get to the library, but he wrapped his hand around my arm, effectively stopping me. “It’s been a month; can I please just say something?”
“What more is there to say? I was a bet, and honestly speaking Kim Seokjin, you were a distraction.” His hand fell from my arm, dropping back to his side. “It was fun, though. But that doesn’t mean my feelings aren’t hurt. And you didn’t seem to give a fuck. Telling your boys to tell me and break up with me for you. So why now? Don’t tell me some cliché shit that you realized you had feelings for me and that you miss me, because we both know that’s bullshit.” He stayed silent. “Good talk, Kim Seokjin.” I pushed open the doors to the library and made my way to my regular table, Yoongi already there, two coffees in front of him. “I feel like getting drunk.” I said, plopping in my regular seat.
“Rough day?” Yoongi chuckled, sliding my coffee across the table towards me.
“Let’s just say Seokjin wanted to talk.” Yoongi closed his text book and smiled up at me.
“Soju and ice cream?” He asked as he quickly packed up.
“I’ll text Jimin to meet us at my apartment. Let’s get drunk!” I exclaimed, grabbing my coffee, and leaving the library with Yoongi by my side. We were both chuckling as he opened the door, allowing me to walk out first. I wasn’t paying attention as I walked out the door, turning my head to look at Yoongi, and bumped into someone. “Sorry … Namjoon?” He smiled down at me as I quickly took a step back. Yoongi looked up at him before wrapping an arm around me, pulling me closer to him.
“You didn’t let Jin talk, so I figured I’d try.” He smiled, rubbing the back of his neck.
“There’s nothing to talk about.” Yoongi spoke up. “You guys got caught; deal with the consequences of your actions.” The two of us tried to walk passed him, but unlike Kim Seokjin, Kim Namjoon was persistent.
“You act like you don’t make mistakes.” He called after us, stopping us in our tracks. “Jin told me you said he was just a distraction.” I turned to face Namjoon causing Yoongi’s arm to fall back to his side.
“When I agreed to the first date, I agreed hoping for a distraction from my one-sided crush. But when I agreed to the second date, it was because I liked his company. When I said yes to being his girlfriend, it was because I had real feelings for him. And that’s the difference between me and him, Kim Namjoon. Everything on my end was 100% real, where as on his end it was all fake. He pretended to have feelings for me.” Namjoon stared at me, obviously not expecting my blow up. “What else needs to be said, Namjoon?” I asked, my voice cracking. Yoongi slid his hand into mine, lacing our fingers together and giving my hand a reassuring squeeze.
“We’re sorry. We never got to apologize, and we want to.” I shook my head.
“I don’t want your apology. You don’t deserve my forgiveness.” He didn’t stop us as we walked away this time. “I really need a drink.” I whispered causing Yoongi to chuckle.
         “Consider it done, princess.”
*
Jimin was angrily pacing around my living room after Yoongi and I told him what happened. “Hoseok approached me today, too. They waited an entire month to try to apologize. What a joke.” He took a swig of his drink. “I can’t believe they did exactly what Jackson and his friends did in high school! Like, we’re in fucking college now.”
“Wait, this happened to you before?” Yoongi jumped in as Jimin continued to mumble to himself between taking swigs of his drink.
“It’s not a big deal.” I shrugged, really not wanting to explain what happened in high school. But Jimin had other plans.
“No big deal?! You switched schools! Wouldn’t eat unless I forced you to! Jackson is the whole reason you’re known as the Ice Queen in the first place.” Yoongi looked between the two of us. “You spent 2 years believing he was the great love of your life, just to find out it was all a bet and he never loved you. That’s a big deal!”
“2 years?” Yoongi asked and all I could do was nod. “God, guys fucking suck.” He exclaimed, leaning back on the couch as he took another sip of his drink.
“That’s what I’m saying!” Jimin added, plopping himself down on a chair.
“You two are the only guys I need.” I smiled, cuddling up to Yoongi, who happily wrapped his arms around me and placed a kiss on top of my head.
“I never should have told you to go on that date.” Jimin mumbled as he watched Yoongi and I.
“You didn’t know it would end up like this.” I told him; my words muffled by Yoongi’s shirt as my head rested on his chest. The three of us continued to drink, trying to forget all the angst of the day and have a good night.
*
“Hey! Now that Suck-Jin is gone, you can make your move!” Jimin exclaimed some hours later, all of us considerably more drunk than we expected to be.
“Oh yeah! You were saying you had a crush on someone!” Yoongi jumped in, poking my arm with a teasing smile on his face. “You’re beautiful! You should just go for it.” I laughed, shaking my head. “Come on, Y/N!” Yoongi whined. “I want to see you happy.”
“Yeah, Y/N! What was his name again?” I couldn’t help but laugh at how Jimin hasn’t changed. He still forgets everything when he’s drunk. “Yoongi!” He yelled, causing Yoongi to look over at him.
“You don’t have to yell, I’m right here!” Yoongi yelled back. Jimin’s eyes widened.
“Y/N! Now’s your chance! He’s right there.” He loudly whispered, cupping his hands around his mouth as if that would stop Yoongi from hearing him.
“Shut up, Jimin!” I said as I threw a pillow towards him, missing by a lot due to the alcohol in my system. “He has a crush on some girl!” I exclaimed with a pout on my face.
“Dammit Yoongi!” Jimin exclaimed. “How can you not like Y/N?!” He leaned forward in his chair, causing him to fall to the ground. I burst out laughing, completely forgetting the conversation that was happening seconds previous.
“Idiot! You’re always falling off chairs.” I laughed, but Yoongi was silent, seeming to have quickly sobered up. “Yah!” I slapped Yoongi’s arm. “What’s with that face?” I pouted.
“You like me?” My eyes widened as my jaw dropped.
“Who told you?” I whispered. “You weren’t supposed to know!” Yoongi chuckled, shaking his head at me.
“I think it’s bed time for you.” He stood up, holding a hand out for me to take so he could help me up. “Jimin,” he turned to saying something, but Jimin was passed out on the floor. “Okay then.” He chuckled before helping me to my room.
“Stay.” I pouted as I patted the empty space beside me. He shook his head as he tucked me in and turned to leave. “Yoongs!” I whined. “I want cuddles.” He chuckled, standing in my doorway contemplating whether he should stay or leave. “Please.”
“Always my weakness.” He mumbled to himself before crawling into bed with me and pulling me into his arms. I fell asleep quickly while listening to his heartbeat.
*
I woke up still wrapped in Yoongi’s arms, and the events of the previous night hit me like a truck. “Fuck.” I whispered to myself, trying to wriggle out of his arms without waking him up.
“You wanted cuddles; you live with the consequences.” He mumbled; his eyes still closed.
“Yah, if you’re awake, let me go.” I whined, trying to pull his arms off of me, but his grip only tightened. “What are you doing?” I asked, eventually giving up on getting out of his arms. He mumbled something I couldn’t understand before pressing a soft kiss to the top of my head. “Wow, who would have known the Ice King was actually the biggest softie.” I joked.
“Says miss Ice Queen pouting until I cuddled her.” I let out a small giggle, the memory coming back to me slowly. “You and Jimin are really funny when you’re drunk.” Before I could ask, he continued. “You accidentally confessed to me last night.” His voice was barely above a whisper, but I heard him loud and clear. “Before you panic,” He was moving so he could look at me, but his arms were still around me. “I like you too.” I couldn’t help the smile the overtook my face when he said that. “So if we can shake the third wheel, I’d like to take you out today.” I giggled, but promised I’d find a way for it to be just us. “Okay, then I’m going to go home and get ready. I’ll see you in a couple hours.” He pressed a soft kiss to my temple before getting out of my bed and leaving.
My two previous relationships may have failed miserably, but I know things are different this time. Third times a charm, as they say.

An Old Scent [1] - Negan x Reader (A/B/O AU)
Summary: During summer break, you decide to come back home to visit your dad, Rick. Over the course of your stay, you realize that your dad's friend is pretty hot.
Warnings: Eventual smut, A/B/O dynamics, cheating, age gap, Negan
A/N: yay first fic! this will have four parts! i hope everyone enjoys. this is an au where the apocalypse never happened. 3.2k words
I squinted as I stepped out into the bright Virginian sun. People swarmed all around me, creating the steady hum of airport ambience that I had grown accustomed to over the years. I had just gotten off a four-hour flight home from college and all I wanted to do was shower and curl up in bed. But I couldn't. Oh, no. First I had to endure a fun thirty-minute car ride with my best friend since second grade. I scanned the curb in front of me for her small black car and caught sight of a tall woman waving at me. I grinned and walked forward, tugging along my baggage behind me.
"Ugh, it's so good to see you, Bee." I sighed as I enveloped my friend into a large hug. She let out a laugh and swayed us gently.
"It's good to see you, too," She hummed, rustling my hair "I forgot how short you were." Bee was an alpha; tall, muscular, and very quick to remind me of our differences. Of course, it was in a 'joking with love' kind of way. I was an omega; small, rounded, and very quick to punch her gently in the abdomen.
"I forgot how much of a jerk you are." I quipped, huffing and wheeling my bag to her trunk.
"Oh, come on, babes, don't be like that," Bee laughed, opening the driver side door and waiting for me to walk back to my side. "Now get in, we've got a lot of catching up to do."
---
"How are your heats going?"
"Jesus, that's what you want to start with?" I scoffed, crossing my arms over my chest. Bee shrugged.
"We don't have to if you don't want to," She clarified, turning out onto the street "I'm just saying, I know they've gotten pretty bad as we've gotten older. Did you try out those tips I sent you?"
"Yea, I did," I said quietly, looking at the trees rushing by on the side of the highway "They worked for a while but..."
"But you need an alpha," Bee sighed, finishing the sentence for me.
"That's the plan for this summer," I agreed "Might finally settle down."
"You know, I'm always here if you need me." She said with a wink. I scoffed at her.
"I'm not that desperate," I laughed, shoving her lightly "Not yet, at least."
"Anyone take your interest back in Colorado?"
"Not really," I hummed, tilting my head in consideration. "There was this one guy. We dated for a few months but towards the end he became a total knot-head. He couldn't keep his hands off me. I thought it was cute at first, but after I started to miss a few classes...well, that shit got old pretty quickly." Bee made a disgusted noise.
"Ugh, men," She grunted, wrinkling her nose "I'm glad I never went through that phase. I'm perfectly happy with chicks, thank you very much. Much less of a pain in my ass."
"Oh, they're not so bad," I smirked "I think it's just alphas in general." She glared at me momentarily and I stuck my tongue out at her. We drove in a comfortable silence for a few moments, just enjoying each other's company. That was always something I loved about Bee. We never had to fill every second with chatter, we could just exist together in the same space and be just as content. She started to hum along to the song that buzzed softly from the radio and my eyes tracked a hawk. Soon enough, we reached our exit and Bee turned the car onto a smaller road, starting the countdown to my arrival home.
"Are you excited to see your dad?" Bee asked, killing the silence.
"Yea, I am," I smiled. We hadn't always had the best of relationships, but the distance that college gave had done wonders for us. A few texts and calls had worked perfectly for us. When he invited me to stay a few weeks during summer I gladly accepted. I wanted to see just how well our relationship had strengthened. Plus I knew he really needed someone.
"How's he doing?" There was genuine concern in Bee's voice. A few months ago, my mom had revealed that she had been having an affair with one of dad's work buddies. She left with him and took my brother down to Georgia.
"I think he's okay. But you know dad, he's not really an emotions guy. He was starting to get some closure but then the divorce papers came in the mail. That really hurt him," I told her, twisting a strand of my hair around my finger. "I just don't know how Lori could do that to him, you know? She won't even let Carl up to visit. The new baby's cute, though. Looks just like Shane." Bee hummed in acknowledgement.
"Well, tell him I said hi, alright?"
"Will do." A few more seconds of silence passed. Until we stopped at a light. Bee looked up and spotted a billboard that sported a very familiar, very handsome face.
"Holy shit!" Bee shrieked, slapping my arm.
"Ow, what the hell?" I hissed, grabbing my shoulder. She pointed frantically at the sign.
"That guy! Isn't that, shit- the hell's his name?" Pulling my eyes from my lap, I let them settle on the object of her excitement. All of the color drained from my face. It was an add for a law firm. There was an old geezer posing proudly on the left, and to his right, was the man who haunted my wet dreams for the majority of high school.
"Negan." I gulped.
"Yea, your dad's hot friend you never shut up about." Bee groaned, pressing on the gas and moving us away from the sign. Negan was a lawyer/make-shift-law-professor and baseball coach at the local community college. He had a sort-of contract with my dad's department. Many times I had come home after school to the two of them puzzling out a case on the kitchen table. Negan was an alpha of alphas, something that got my little omega heart (and other things) pumping until I couldn't breath. His humor and dominating persona made me blush a deep crimson color any time I saw him. Sometimes I would spend hours sitting on the stairs just listening to him talk to my dad. His voice was something else. I had gushed to Bee about him countless times during our times at high school. But I hadn't seen him since my graduation party.
"I wonder if you'll see him again," Bee teased, nudging me again to pull me out of my trance of memories. Then, she did a dramatic gasp. "What if he's your mate?" It was my turn to slap her in the shoulder.
"He's older than my dad!" I squealed, burying my now-blushing cheeks in my hands.
"You're an adult I don't think it matters."
"I think he's engaged."
"Just 'cause there's a goalie doesn't mean you can't scoooore." Bee pulled a face at me and I returned her grimace.
"Whatever, you're lucky we're almost at my house." I huffed, falling back into my seat with my arms crossed over my chest.
"Oh, yea, omega? What are you gonna do?" I rolled my eyes as she laughed off my grumpiness. We rolled to a stop in front of my driveway and a leaned in to give her a kiss on the cheek.
"Thanks so much, Bee, I really appreciate you," I grinned, popping open the door.
"No problem, babes," She winked, unlocking the trunk "But I swear to the gods, you better fucking call me and give me updates on everything, especially if you run into Mr. Hotcakes." I rolled my eyes once more and promised her I would before closing the door. I retrieved my bag and gave her a wave as she drove down the street. When she was out of view, I took a deep breath and turned around, walking up the driveway to the front door.
I knocked heavily on the dark oak door. While I waited for someone to answer, I decided to look around at the home I had left behind about a year ago. My childhood home had changed now and then over the years, but there were still some iconic pieces of memories in the front yard that could never be forgotten. My personal favorite was Eddie the garden gnome. He was a standard gnome: small and stout with a large white beard that led into a pointy red hat. His eyes were shut and his mouth was curved into a smile. However, he was missing a nose. I grinned as I recalled the unfortunate mishap that caused Eddie to become deformed. I was about twelve, and carl was five. He had gotten a kid's baseball from Negan for his birthday and had begged me to teach him how to play, since I was on the local softball team at the time. I relented and set it up in the front yard. Eddie was our outfielder. Eddie didn't have a mitt. Well, he did, but it was his face. Carl absolutely smashed the first pitch I tossed at him and hit poor Eddie right in the face, shattering his round, pink nose into pieces. Carl bursted into tears and I had to promise him that he did not in fact kill our precious protector of our house. Lori ran out frantically and comforted her son before giving me a thorough chewing out for damaging Eddie. We never used the set again. That she knew of, anyways. Negan always let us play in his yard, though. I smiled at the memory, but the clicking of the lock to the door pulled me from my train of thought. The door swung open and I was met with the smiling face of my father.
"Sweetie, I'm so glad you made it!" He laughed, pulling me in swiftly and squeezing me tight.
"It's good to see you too, dad." I croaked, letting out a small chuckle. I tapped on his shoulder as a signal for him to let go.
"How was the flight?" He asked as he stepped out to grab my bag. I told him it was good but that the screaming kids had given me a bit of a headache. He gave a small laugh and gestured for me to enter. I thanked him and he rolled my bag in behind me. We exchanged a few words but as soon as I walked through the kitchen into the doorway of the living room I was hit by a wall. Not literally, no, but rather a wall of overwhelming scent. It was a delicious swirl of campfire and whiskey, with a hint of cigarettes and leather. I paused for a moment, my eyes forced closed and my lungs taking a deep breath of the intoxicating air. Colors danced across my eyelids. My whole body was flooded with warmth and my toes tingled. I felt safe and calm, and there was something else; something deep within my stomach that I couldn't quite identify, something I never felt before. My eyes snapped open when I felt my father's hand rest firmly on my shoulder.
"I hope you don't mind, sweetie, but I invited company over while I was waiting for you to arrive," He smiled at me. I got a good look at him then. He looked the same, his hair was a bit longer, a bit greyer. But his eyes were different. They were darker, rounder, rawer. I gave a soft smile and told him it was fine. He guided me into the living room. It was then I realized where that deadly smell was coming from. Or, rather, who it was coming from. "Negan, you remember my girl." In that moment, I held my breath as I scanned Negan. He looked fucking amazing, just as he always had. Perfect dimples guarding a charming smile, all surrounded by a gorgeous salt and pepper beard. His hair was longer than it was when I had left, not slicked back, but it still framed his face perfectly. Negan's body was draped casually over the sectional couch, legs crossed at the ankle on the ottoman. His arms were on the top of the couch and his wrists were dangling. He knew he was hot. That bastard. I suddenly became aware of his eyes raking over my form and I shifted from one foot to the other.
"'course I do, Rick," Negan said, voice silky and deep. I couldn't help but let a small shudder run down my spine. All I wanted to do was kneel down in front of him and curl up at his feet. I forced my inner omega down, shaking the thought from my head. "How could I forget the little slugger?" I cringed inside at the nickname. Especially the use of the word 'little'. I begged that he didn't still see me as the kid down the street. Instead as a grown woman. A grown omega.
"Hi, Negan." I greeted with a small smile, swallowing to relieve my dry throat. Now that I was next to him, his scent was clogging all my senses. I gripped onto the couch and lowered myself onto the cushion, hoping to ground myself. It helped, just barely. My heart was pounding, my instincts telling me to submit to this man in front of me. Why, though? Why now? He had never smelled this good before. No alpha had. Was I getting close to my heat? I did have a stomach ache, but that could be from Negan alone.
"Hey, sweetheart. How's college goin'?" Negan asked, sipping on his drink. He kept eye contact with me the whole time. Rick handed me a glass of soda and I thanked him.
"It's good!" I said after taking a sip, thankful for the hydration in my coarse throat "Towards the end it got a little hectic, but I was able to stay on top of everything, thankfully."
"You're studying film, right?" He asked, leaning forward and resting his elbows on his knees.
"That's right," I grinned, crossing my legs to relieve some of the pressure the movement caused to build up in my lower abdomen "You still teaching law?" This caused him to chuckle. Literally music to my ear.
"If that's what you want to fuckin' call it." Negan sighed, falling back to his original position, hands resting in his lap "I talk, the kids kinda listen. I just do it for the coaching job, really. You remember how much I love that damn sport, right?"
"Baseball?" I asked, raising a brow "You mean the only thing you talked about at all of the Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners you were invited to?"
"Touché." Negan grinned. Goddamn that smile. Butterflies erupted in my chest, beating hard against my ribcage, begging to throw myself at his chest and bury myself in him. Rick cleared his throat and smiled at me to get my attention.
"I want to know more about your college experience!" He beamed, rubbing a hand through his beard "Any special alphas you've got your eyes on?" I heard Negan choke slightly on his whiskey. A small bubble of pride rose in my chest. I laughed at his words.
"Dad, I don't think Negan wants to hear about my love life."
"Shit, doll, I don't mind," He grumbled "I don't get to hear any drama now-a-days"
"What do you mean?" I giggled, tilting my head "You argue for a living. Your job is to literally deal with drama."
"Yea, but that's complex drama," He growled, waving his hand dismissively "I wanna hear simple, schoolgirl 'he loves me, he loves me not' kind of bullshit."
"Well sorry to disappoint," I snorted, running a hand through my hair "but no, there's no one I have an eye on." Dad's smile turned into a frown.
"Shame." I heard Negan whisper. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to hear it. It was quiet, barely above his breath, and he said it while twirling his whiskey, following the words with a large gulp.
"You really should start looking, dear." Dad said with a sigh "You know it only gets harder as you get older."
"Dad please, I don't..." I cut him off "Listen, I appreciate you trying to understand this stuff, I really do, but I don't really want to talk about it with my father." He looked at me with an understanding smile.
"Sure," He nodded "But if you ever need anything, anything at all, you just let me know, alright." I nodded.
"Well, this sure has been fun, Ricky-boy," Negan grinned, getting to his feet and stretching his arms far above his head. "We do have that big court case in the mornin', though, and I need my shut-eye."
"Big case, eh?" I asked, rising from my seat as well. Dad nodded and excitement sparked in his eyes.
"You should come! It's an open court and I would love for you to see what I do. I know you always wanted to as a kid, but your mom made you wait until you were older. Well, now's the perfect time!" He rambled, grasping my shoulders.
"W-Well, I dunno, I don't want to be a distraction," I stumbled, taken aback by my father's display of enthusiasm. I turned to Negan, as if asking for permission. He just laughed.
"Oh-o, doll, I don't get distracted. Not in there, not anywhere. Don't you worry about a goddamn thing. You should come, Rick seems like he really wants you to."
"Okay, then," I grinned, nodding in commitment "I'll see you there in the morning then." I looked up to Negan and we locked eyes for a brief moment. But in that moment, something within me quivered. He brushed up against me and smirked down at me.
"See you tomorrow, sweetheart. It was nice to see you. You're lookin' great." It took all my willpower not to let out a whimper as he walked past me, taking his glorious scent with him.
My dad said that he should also get some rest, but that I could stay up as long as I wanted to. I was pretty wiped from my flight so I opted to follow him up the narrow staircase, tugging my bag behind me. I hugged him goodnight and stepped into my room. It hadn't been touched since I left last summer. The forest green bedspread was still perfectly tucked into the mattress and two plump pillows were perched at the head of the bed. My muscles ached for the soft release of sleep. I put my suitcase down by my dresser, taking a moment to smile at some old photos of me and Bee as kids. I showered and brushed my teeth before getting into the comfortable bed. I looked up at the ceiling and giggled softly at the glow-in-the-dark stars shining overhead. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. I wasn't thinking of anything in particular, but for some reason, all of my dreams were plagued by the sweet smell, sound, sight, feeling, and taste of Negan.

For a Draco x reader, I don’t know if this plot is good or not. But it is just an idea that I have and if you feel like writing it I would be very happy because I really do like your work. So maybe something like Draco and reader started to slowly become friends and then hang out more and more. Draco feels happy with her and fall for her. He writes a letter to his mother telling all about a girl he met and how happy she makes him. Then Narcissa writes a letter to the reader and thanking her for making her son happy and she really hope to meet her soon. Reader is just confused and then go and look for Draco. He later then just confess his feeling for her and she feels the same. Would love to if you also wrote when the reader actually met Draco’s family and they all liked her a lot.
I'm honored to know you like my work, thank you sweetheart! Hope you'll like this one too!! I'm not sure this is what you wanted but i liked the concept of the flashbacks so i went with that :)
Perfect For Each Other

How it all started. You would have never expected it honestly, to find yourself in front of Malfoy Manor, wearing your best dress to make a good impression, waiting to finally meet the mysterious parents of your boyfriend.
Draco had talked about them countless times, but you hadn't met them yet. Perhaps it was the lack of time, perhaps it was the fear that made you decline invite after invite, but Draco wanted you to be sure and waited. For you.
He always did, he always waited for you. That's one of the things you loved about him.
He always waited for you after class, when everyone else had already run towards the great hall to eat. He stood near the entrance, lazily leaning on the wall outside with his bag hanging over his shoulder. A small grin always spreading on his face whenever you would join him to go to lunch together.
He hadn't always been like this however, it took sometime, but oh boy was it worth it. He slowly opened up to you until you knew more about him than himself. You started hanging out together after class and during, which wasn't very appreciated by all the professors who constantly reprimanded the both of you.
But you couldn't care less, not when you loved him so much. Love, how weird. Were you really in love with your friend? Or was it just friendship, a really strong and fierce friendship?
You knocked on the door of the great mansion, Draco beside you hugging your side gently, squeezing lightly to relieve your nerves. You appreciated the gesture, but it wasn't enough sadly.
The door revealed a beautiful woman, her eyes matching Draco's perfectly, displaying a certain affection you would have never expected from a stranger.
Draco wasn't known to be very open with anyone; he only spoke with you, but only when he deemed it utterly necessary. Only with you and that made you feel special, or so you thought.
You slackly woke up and took your sweet time getting ready, it was saturday after all and that meant only one thing: relax.
You descended the stairs to the common room, finding it unsurprisingly empty. Even if you slept in, you were one of the first to wake up. You made your way to the great hall and made yourself comfortable at your usual seat.
The morning post arrived and, even though you hadn't expected anything, you saw a big elegant owl approaching you with a white envelope in its beak.
You took it carefully and let the owl take some of your breakfast from your plate before taking off again. As you opened it, you noticed the refined lining and the faint smell of vanilla it emanated.
Dear y/n,
my dear Draco has told me a lot about you, my name is Narcissa Malfoy, Draco's mother. I'm so glad to know there is someone there so close to him, that can guide him and be there whenever he needs.
I want to formerly thank you and wish you two the best, hopefully Draco won't annoy you too much. I know how he can be at times, but from what i've heard, i know you two will be perfect for each other.
Please take care and take care of him for me,
Narcissa Malfoy
You read the tiny sophisticated handwriting with an ever-growing smile on your lips, until a thought dawned on you: 'perfect for each other'.
What did she mean by that? What had Draco told her that he hadn't told you? Too many thoughts were running freely in your head to notice the hall slowly filling up.
"Hey, good morning. What do you have there?" a voice suddenly brought you out of your trance and, almost instinctively, you folded the letter in your hands.
"Nothing, just mail." you said innocently. You weren't sure whether you should have told him or not. If he really did feel something for you other than friendly affection, he should have told you. When he was ready.
Maybe you had just misinterpreted it, or maybe Narcissa did, nevertheless you wouldn't certainly have told him anything about it.
He eyed the letter, unconvinced, but sat down next to you nevertheless. As he did that, you immediately sprang up, startling him and everyone else at the table.
"I'd better go, many things to do!" you excused yourself and walked, rather quickly, out of the hall, trying to block out all of the confused gazes on you.
Your feet kept a steady pace as you reached the grounds, looking for a silent spot where to really think about the letter you had just received.
You re-read the letter, your eyes always freezing on the same spot: 'perfect for each other'. You started pacing back and forth until you got interrupted, once more.
"Has something happened, y/n?"
Narcissa greeted you cheerily, a polite smile imprinted on her face as she hugged Draco and then you, with such warmth you felt instantly at home.
"It's such a pleasure to finally meet you, y/n. Last time I had heard of you was so long ago, although Draco still tells me everything about you." Draco smiled bashfully as Narcissa led the two of you in the living room, "Maybe i should have just written you, but after last time, I wasn't sure..."
You shook your head quickly as you gazed into his grey eyes, worry etched into them.
"What is that?" Draco pointed to the letter again and you hid it behind your back, keeping your eyes on him. "You can tell me, y/n, you know you can."
You weighed your choices and decided it was better to tell him the truth, whatever the consequences.
"It's... it's your mother, she has sent me a letter..." Draco's usually light eyes darkened as something you couldn't quite place took over in his face.
"What did she say? Did she threaten you? That doesn't sound like mother but-"
"What?! No! No, nothing of that sort!" you quickly reassured him, "It's... she said you told her about... me."
Draco relaxed immediately only to tense up again a second after.
"And what did she say?"
"I need to ask you something, Draco." Draco gulped but didn't stop looking at you, nodding for you to go on, "What are we?"
Draco furrowed his brows at the question, letting a small nervous chuckle escape his lips, "Friends, aren't we?"
"And what would you like us to be?"
He stiffened even more, not sure what his answer should have been, truthful and potentially fatal or a lie.
"I think- I know I love you, y/n. Possibly more than a friend." you tried to stifle a smile but it was impossible and ran into his arms, startling him for the second time that day.
He hugged you back almost instantly, happiness flooding his senses at your unexpected reaction.
"Thank merlin, because i think i do too, you know?"
That was the start of it all, everything thanks to Narcissa, the woman you were now following through the huge halls of the manor.
You now knew Draco loved you, but meeting his parents, knowing they could have disapproved, still made your heart beat faster than usual and your hands clench around Draco's.
You reached an enormous room, with an expensive-looking couch in the middle and a few armchairs surrounding it. One of them was occupied by a blond man, uncannily similar to the man whose hand you were currently holding onto for dear life.
"Good morning, you must be y/n." he greeted, standing up from the chair and taking a few steps forward, extending the hand that wasn't holding his cane.
"Good morning, it's a pleasure meeting you mr Malfoy!" you shook his hand, trying to hide your excitement and, most of all, your fear.
"Draco told us about you, i must say you are quite different from how he pictured you." Draco squeezed your hand and you felt slightly better despite the horrible first impression you had just made with his father, "You are certainly prettier than what he told us."
You giggled lightly as Narcissa offered to take the conversation to the dining room. Draco hugged your shoulders while making your way towards the table and one of the nicest evening you ever had.
Narcissa was indeed right, you were perfect for each other.
