That the shadows whispering in his ears were not hallucinations, but his new companions ,his power. And then, he immediately believed Elain when she said she was hearing things. How he kept her company when she was trapped inside her head, inside her visions. How he listened to her until he understood her power and, through that understanding, helped free her.

I don’t know, but it just makes me emotional when I think that, whereas he struggled alone when his power came to him, he didn’t let her live the same thing alone and was the only one who truly listened to her, understood her ,saw her the way no one else could.
