Tango was so happy energetic.

And from Tango calling Etho's storage system cute and Etho in gamechat going "CUTE?!" (00:41:07). To the razzing (and laughing) over shops (00:49:00 and 01:03:49). Etho taking Tango's head twice, and it all being so playful (00:58:11). Etho using Tango's catchphrases 🥹🥹🥹 It gets me every time! "porkchop power" "flee with extra flee!" And the way he said it was the cutest, and Tango's giggle about it too (01:00:59). Etho offering to give the tour Tango wanted. More mail talk and laughing guilt and planning and razzing and teaching Etho to do the stamps. Tango complimenting the path (and that Etho showed it to him when he first came back when Etho came to say hi) (01:15:41). They still plan on doing their sand-collection-off (01:35:06).

And of course the whole TNTificating with Etho's new "boom boom tech" (01:39:43--02:15:17) was just…the most fun. They are having the most fun together...it's an absolute joy. (And it's also them collaborating on how to figure out a redstone thing together which is just so satisfying.) Just...TOO MANY (!!!) (so many) fun moments in that whole TNT section that I can't even start on highlighting them all 😭 I'd need another mammoth paragraph...

MORE INTERPRETATIONS & BETTER QUALITY OF SOME PAINTINGS :

N°12 - Ekko & Jinx with untie long hair drawn in negative mode but also, if you look at it at [34:55], you'll see it way more clearly AND also see that it gives Jinx lighting up the flare scene with Ekko on his overboard flying around her.

N°27 - at [34:37] you'll see the young Powder from N°21 way more clearly!

The Jinx Monckey-bomb. At [30:58] ; [31:55] and [34:13] you might see the Jinx Monckey-bomb more clearly as the pictures are in better quality or more focused on this area !

N°22 [32:06] : I forgot to mention it in the video but in that drawing-reborn scene with Silco, you can actually see fingers/a hand (drawn by the Jinx mouth from N°28) pushing on Jinx’s skull/in her hair which seems to be pulling her under water.

More stuff about the Get Jinxed painting and the Devil Jinx one : on top of the Get Jinxed painting, there is a scary white mask/face that I believe to be representing Silco. When you turn the picture upside down, and try not focusing on that mask, it then gives off the Devil Jinx I showed earlier.

Also, the big yellow/bewildered eye in the middle of Jinx chest in the Get Jinxed painting could be representing the Eye of Zaun, as this a tech-nerd Jinx being represented here, and as Ekko is represented staring/spying on her, it could imply that Ekko has recognized Powder in her in that moment, the Zaunite child with whom he grew up with and whom he loved.

End note : I forgot to mention it in the video but there are also 2–3 Vi representations on the Jinx paintings, one from the scene where she left her on the street and went to calm herself away from her, and another with her head and shoulders down, on the main Jinx painting on the left, that looks like the Vi introducing scene from Episode 4 in the prison.

OKAY INSANE. Next I’m gonna give you some screenshots I took so y’all can get some visuals to the stuff you just read. Also, WATCH THE VIDEO!!! The creator does a lot better at exposing than I do—never mind the fact that this is literally their findings! (I didn’t find any of these, just watched the video and now spreading it to tumblr). I have absolutely no recollection of which N• photo these images belong to so you’ll have to play connect the dots lmao

A lot of the images also already have text on the screen explaining, I’m just gonna paraphrase what the voice in the video (not the text) is saying.

These two photos are telling us how Ekko’s down bad ass based the entire firefly logo off of Jinx and her logo… and for the context in the first image about the emboldened Z, here it is:

PRACTICALLY IDENTICAL.

This is the video creator explaining their level 1 billion brain power on thinking outside the box and how the idea of the painting was to go back to an Ekko origin short that came out YEARS before Arcane did. They’ve been planning this entire time, and when the description pasted far above talking about the different photos it was talking about the images painted on a wall in an Ekko origin (will show screenshots next)

The creator of the yt video found almost FORTY Jinx paintings and references to Arcane (which hadn’t been anywhere near its release date when the origin came out.

These ones on the large wood slab are CRAZY. The artists and develops had loads of fun because in the last photo you can see jinx screaming/crying if you focus on all the colours in the photo.

However, the YouTuber blurred Jinx’s face to hell you focus on the blues and pinks where the developers/artists made kind of like a moving mini scene that moved while the video itself moved. To my understanding you can see Jinx boxing and at some point Ekko shows up, too.

You'll notice a couple of things. First the "Friendship Song" sung at the end of Pascal's Story is not included because it was not sung by any of the characters in-story. Neither is "More of Me" by Natasha Bedingfield as it was sung over the credits. Also, the "Black-Rock Incantation," "Sun Drop/Hope Incantation" (so those are the official names now), and "Final Healing Incantation" weren't sung by Cassandra and Rapunzel, just recited, so they aren't really songs, but they're included anyway. What they did omit was "Hook Foot's Ballad" which comes after "The View From Up Here". I wonder if Disney accidentally missed this and will reload the video with this included.

It's just over an hour long, perfect music for say, the treadmill or during a long drive!

This is really just a fun little thing I wanted to do, so I’ll posting chapters as soon as I finish them! That means minimal editing, so I apologize for any errors! I just want to get as much done as possible before Halloween hits tomorrow :)

BEFORE THE HUNT

Since diving headfirst into her steller youtube career, Tressa has learned several valuable lessons: avoid drama, thoroughly vet and research any potential sponsorships, create backups of all her files and videos, etc. You know, the stuff anyone in the business will tell you to watch out for. And even though Tressa hasn’t been on the scene very long, at least compared to some of her peers, she really feels as though she’s gotten the hang of this youtube vlogger thing.

So when she rolls up to the looming, imposing facade of the abandoned Old Royal Academy in northern Atlasdam, Tressa doesn’t have a worry in the world. Tonight is gonna go off without a hitch. Once all of her friends get here, she’s sure they’ll be having too much fun exploring the old place to get scared.

Tressa can’t think of anyone else she’d want to guest star in her next big video than these guys. Even if they all make different kinds of content (or no content at all, in Olberic and H’aanit’s cases), everyone is guaranteed to come out of this venture with a special video of their own.

Cyrus and Olberic are here first, of course. They live in Atlasdam for one, and Cyrus specifically helped her nab permission to shoot on the premises tonight. His set up is frighteningly simple and devastatingly slapstick: a cheap video camera and likely even cheaper clip-on microphone. Olberic holds the camera steady with the fortitude of a statue. Cyrus barely pauses his agonizing ramble about the history of the college to wave at her in greeting.

“...thereby earning itself the new descriptor ‘old’ in 1847. However, the Old Royal Academy’s doors would remain open for several years yet, producing such austere minds as esteemed poet and playwright Simeon Ventus and Atlasdam native Yvon Baudelaire, who earned the title of second president of the (new) Royal Academy in 1864. Shortly after his inauguration, his alma mater would mysteriously catch fire, destroying a large part of the northern part of campus and compromising the structural integrity of the building as a whole. Regrettably, the fire claimed the lives of forty-eight students, teachers, and staff. The school closed, never to open again. As you can clearly see behind me, however, the Atlasdam Historical Society restored the building with the intent of transforming it into a protected historical landmark. While repairs were completed in 1962, a series of logistical mishaps stagnated the effort, leading to the project’s abandonment in 1970.”

With his very interesting and not at all boring monologue finished (for now), Cyrus claps his hands and spins on his heel towards Tressa, donning a mighty grin. “And here is our intrepid adventurer now, come to lead us on a journey through this stunning piece of history! How have you been, my dear?”

“Good!” she says, dragging her last duffle bag out of the back of her car. She brought more than enough gadgets and gizmos for everyone to use tonight. 

Tressa has REM pods. EVPs. A bunch of different radios. This weird little teddy bear that talks to ghosts and records spooky sounds. A deck of tarot cards–though they’re mostly for show instead of, like, actual use in studying the paranormal. If there are ghosts and ghouls and demons lurking in that old spooky place, Tressa will find them.

And if not, because, let’s be real, ghosts aren’t real, she’ll have a ton of stuff she can use to edit spooks and scares in post! Her editor Noa always knows how to turn a boring video into something wild and interesting.

While Cyrus paws through her gear, critically examining each piece of probable junk, Olberic hums. “And these… items are supposed to help you do what, exactly?” he asks.

Tressa counts on her fingers: “Pick up weird ghost noises, talk to ghosts, catch apparitions, detect temperature fluctuations–oh, and this thing senses movement!”

“Ghosts are said to manifest as fluctuating energy,” Cyrus explains, holding the Boo Buddy teddy bear out at length. He pokes at its button nose. Then Cyrus hands the bear to his husband, who gingerly accepts it. “Paranormal investigators use sensitive equipment to measure that energy. I read through the wikipedia article last night.”

“I see,” Olberic evenly says.

Yes, their first real skeptic of the night! Cyrus is going to take this investigation so seriously, but she’s really counting on Olberic to keep realistic expectations! It’ll create a nice narrative for the evening, especially when everyone else gets here.

And speaking of the rest of their friends–

Next pulls up a real rust bucket of a truck, the back of which is covered in faded bumper stickers. Most of the decals are meme-y stickers from their own store, but there’s more than a couple hippy environmental messages thrown into the mix. The second the truck clunks into park, Therion tears out of his seat, indignantly hissing, “We’re fucking over.”

“Huh?” Tressa asks right as Alfyn calls through the still open door, “He broke up with me because my swag is–”

Therion slams the door shut.

“I’m done,” he reiterates, daring anyone to challenge him.

Tressa rolls her eyes. They’ll be back together within the hour. 

Or so she thinks, until Alfyn joins the group, proudly standing before them while looking like an absolute idiot. Tressa doesn’t know what’s more egregious, the hat that says Paranormal Investigator or the shirt that says, This is my Ghost Hunting Buddy! with a big arrow pointed to the left. Presumably the shirt is half of a matching set. If Therion didn’t set fire to his shirt, it probably got thrown out the window to rot in a ditch somewhere.

(At least that’s what he’ll likely tell them–Tressa wouldn’t be surprised if he’s wearing it right now, kept hidden by his stupid hoodie.)

Tressa reminds herself that she loves Alfyn and Therion and values their friendship. She really does. She really, really does.

“I’m gonna text Prim and see where they’re at,” Tressa mutters, abandoning Cyrus and Olberic to deal with whatever that is.

She quickly rounds the corner, using her phone as a light. The academy rises high into the sky, blocking out the moon from this side and bathing the street in stolid darkness. Dead leaves sweep across the broken sidewalk and crunch underfoot. The gothic metal fence lining the property is painted a chipped black. The Halloween vibes are off the chart out here. If she hadn’t come out earlier to shoot some B-roll, this would be the perfect time.

Before Tressa heads back to the guys, she pauses for a moment. The air is cool but not uncomfortably so, yet a shiver still snakes its way up her spine. She zips up her vest and tugs the cuffs of her sweater over her fingers.

It’s pretty out here, sure, but it is genuinely pretty creepy, too. There are no street lights around the academy–save a large spotlight out front, illuminating the main front gate. The fence isn’t that high either. Even if it’s topped with ornate spikes, that wouldn’t be enough to stop any ne'er do wells from entering. Yet when Tressa was here earlier to film, she didn’t see any graffiti on the walls or trash strewn about the yard. The academy is in tiptop shape. Well, as in-shape as any old, abandoned building can be.

But it’s still weird that it’s so abandoned, right? Like, there’s not a lot of security around the building either. The front gate is padlocked shut, with the key held solely by some up and up from the (new) Royal Academy.

Tressa warily eyes the dark facade, half expecting to see something looking back at her from one of the windows.

But the place is as empty and lifeless as ever.

She’s psyching herself out for no reason. Ghosts aren’t real, and they’re not in any kind of danger. If they do happen to run into someone unsavory inside, they’ll surely turn tail and run at the sight of Olberic and H’aanit.

Tressa shakes her head. Prim, H’aanit, and Phili will be here soon. She needs to head back out front and–

Darkness swoops in as her phone’s flashlight turns off. Tressa flails in surprise, nearly throwing her phone–but self preservation keeps her fingers locked tight around it. She taps on the screen to turn it back on, but it’s like frozen or something, stuck on the background image of her, Ali, and Noa at the fair this summer. The time reads 8:88.

Wait. What? She looks closer, squinting at the dimmed brightness. Okay, yeah, she just misread it. It’s 8:14. 

That’s still… weird, though. It wasn’t that late before when she texted Primrose and Ophilia, right? Is her phone on the fritz? Damn Apple, making crappy, overpriced products. Tressa smacks the side of it, clicking the buttons over and over, trying to force it to restart.

Eventually, it unfreezes and the screen goes black. She keeps holding the buttons, waiting for that stupid little apple to pop up and show it’s restarting, but it never shows. Instead, her lock screen flashes back on. It shows a couple missed calls and new texts:

Before Tressa can respond or even figure out what everyone’s talking about, a blurred, unflattering picture of Therion fills the screen. Her ringtone blares, cutting through the silence like a jagged knife. She answers. “Hey–”

“It’s about damn time!” he interrupts, sounding breathless. “Where the hell did you go? Did you get kidnapped?”

“I’m like twenty feet away from you, just around the corner of the building,” she snaps, marching back down the sidewalk towards the main gate. “I stepped away to text Prim.”

“Yeah, like ten minutes ago! They’ve been asking us where you are.”

Ten minutes? But that’s….

Tressa rounds the corner, stepping back into the buzzing fluorescent light. Cyrus and Olberic still stand by the gate next to her ghost hunting equipment, but now they’re joined by Primrose, trying to convince them that this isn’t something we need to call the cops over, calm down.

“Perhaps she took a wronge turn and lost her way,” H’aanit suggests, though her brow pinches in concern as she scans the street–and then finds Tressa.

“Okay, well, bye,” Tressa mutters before hanging up on Therion. To the rest of her friends, she says, “I had some phone trouble and I think I zoned out for a bit! I’m good though!”

Everyone breathes a collective sigh of relief. Primrose’s thumbs fly across her phone screen as she texts Alfyn and Therion–missing from the group–that Tressa is back.

Tressa becomes a broken record as she assures her friends she’s fine, that she just lost track of time, that nothing happened. No, she didn’t get lost. Yes, she’s really okay. No, she didn’t see Alfyn or Therion–

“I don’t see how you didn’t,” Primrose says, giving her a thorough scan for–what, any injuries Tressa may be hiding from them? “They both went looking for you. You’re sure you just walked around the corner? Kept to the sidewalk?”

Tressa nods. “Yeah, I stood beside the fence the whole time. I don’t know what else to say. I didn’t go anywhere, I swear.”

“What matters is that you’re safe,” Ophilia decides, descending upon the interrogation with all the grace of a saint. She wears a beatific smile that completely unravels the tension. “Let’s head inside. When Alfyn and Therion rejoin us, we can begin filming.”

Uh can you elaborate on your call out on DD? Like you threw a lot of shit at the wall without a single source and I've not heard any of that before. Could you specify on the misinformation part because I haven't seen anyone say that.

You got it. I’ll admit I should have gone about that with a lot more backing it. I’ve never met DD in any capacity, nor do I want to, but my personal issue with them comes from how did was portrayed to me before, during, and after my diagnosis through their YouTube videos and the way they sensationalize and offer clickbait titles to all of their videos.

There are three fantastic videos by a YouTuber called Cringey about the timeline of DissociaDID. The first video starts out as a desire to respond to Nin (host at the time) about the way she handled the allegations against TP and how shady that was. I’ll post the video here along with the timestamps (these timestamps are also a pinned comment by the creator)

DD speaking: “Hallucinations. Hallucinations are hearing or sensing voices that aren’t real or aren’t really there. This could be things other than just voices, so you can see things that aren’t really there, hear things, feel things that aren’t really there, and hallucinations are a symptom that can come with Dissociative Identity Disorder but are very very integral to a diagnosis of schizophrenia.

Cringey corrects this, explaining that only about 70% of people with schizophrenia are reported to have experienced hallucinations, leaving an entire 30% not accounted for in DissociaDID’s quick summary of such a complex condition.

Cringey discusses the fact that DD doesn’t discuss the limitations of studies conducted in regards to how long ago the study was conducted, the outdated terminology*, and the fact that a lot of these studies, in being so old, are no longer representative of the world now as people are being diagnosed.

Some of these studies come from 1901, over 100 years old, all the ones before 1994 use MPD as the term for DID, and a lot of the names seem to be just copied to make the sources look more credible.

“A lot of these sources are also books with individual studies in them, so if you haven’t heard of did, you’re going to have to spend a lot of time reading these books to find the individual studies, other than just providing the study itself.” Paraphrased from Cringey

There is a part 1.5 where Cringey corrects points that she makes in this first video, along with clarifications and addressing criticisms of it. That’s linked right here:

This video is only 15 minutes and corrects how DissociaDID is pronounced, the university that Cringey references DD attending, how to pronounce betterhelp (English is not her first language), how psychologists can diagnose disorders in the uk, whether or not she’s DissociaDID herself, and the definition of stalking versus using public (mis)information provided by someone you’re criticizing.

I think this little video is mostly correcting semantics but it’s still important because it verifies that Cringey really did a deep dive and the actual misinfo like the way she pronounced names was mainly language based and not someone not doing their due diligence when it comes to research.

If you’re pro self dx then you won’t like Cringey’s takes in this 1.5 video so be sure to take those with a grain of salt.

I’d like to point out that the issues with Nadia didn’t go away (the racism part). In DissociaDID’s update video introducing Kya in one of their first few videos back the last time, Kya alludes to bullies forcing Nadia off the internet. That’s not true. Nadia was a racist caricature of an indigenous person that people of color saw issue with.

It doesn’t shock me that you haven’t heard of this before. DissociaDID keeps a tight hold on comments, both on TikTok and YouTube, as to make the audience feel more tight knit. There have been people who have had issues with them since they started their channel. Any criticism that they get, nicely worded or not, is quickly deleted and it’s assumed that it never happened at all. Most recent example I can find was on one of their most recent TikTok videos.

You’ll also notice I didn’t mention the issue of treating fusion like death in these particular sources. This is a criticism by the did community that watches her now, and most of that criticism is found on Reddit. If you don’t want Reddit as a source I don’t blame you, but comprehensive articles aren’t being written about DD, and the subreddit is where people with the condition have come together to discuss why that and so many other takes of theirs have been detrimental to the did community.

But yeah. The videos are long but they’re worth the watch if you want to see criticisms people had and still have 3 years later. My initial post was riddled with emotion and personal bias, and I won’t apologize for the former. DD hurts the community by being in it, and they should not be allowed to be a public figure misrepresenting a disorder that is so debilitating to myself and so many others.

Hi, I came to report to you that your ql music research is rubbing off on me 😅 I was watching ep 2 of Ploy's Yearbook (for Joong and Namtan 😍), when suddenly I recognized a piece of music!! I reached the tentative conclusion that it must be from SIMM or possibly from Hidden Agenda (but I definitely connected it to JoongDunk). I noticed that Emmet has a specific nickname for the residents of Apocalypseburg. He refers to them when talking to all of them at once as Apocalypseburgers, or something spelled like that.

Now, not even that far later, you can hear Watevra again refer to the residents of Apocalypseburg as Apocalypseburgers.

Now I have no clue if this is some kind of coincidence, or if anyone else in the Lego Movie used this nickname, but I think only those two have ever used the word Apocalypseburgers when talking about the general Apocalypseburg population.

And I think it is a fun little hint of how Watevra came from Emmet, and they both come up with fun little nicknames.

listen, this song is gorgeous. i will never, ever get over its beauty and how this long feels like falling in love. so, naturally, i have made an ENTIRE wesper scene to it in my head! let me lay it out for you.

it all starts when kaz comes to them with another silly little plan and they all need to dress up as fancy, rich people to get into a ball. a great big fancy ball, with lots of food, drinking, and most importantly, dancing.

so jesper and wylan are situated on the floor, right on the dance floor. they've been told to just blend in, don't look suspicious, pick up little bits of information. kaz has reminded them that, at ALL costs, they need to blend in, whatever is to happen.

the band starts up. everyone starts moving to dance, in their partners, all ready to go. wylan panics and is like 'shit, what do we do jes?' and jesper, without missing a single beat, grabs wylans hand and pulls him to the middle of the room, getting ready to dance with him. because, as kaz said, at all costs. (0:00-0:46)

the music finally kicks in and everyone starts to dance, including wylan and jesper. wylan has not a single idea what is going on, and just follows jespers lead, because he trusts him. trusts him that this is needed to get through the plan. (0:46-1:23)

so they start dancing, close together, flowing with the music as perfectly as they can. wylan had no idea that jesper knew how to dance like this, but hey, he learns something new every single day apparently.

wylan is just... heart eyes. the actual definition of heart eyes. he knows they're in the middle of something important, but he just help admiring how beautiful jesper is, how close he's holding him yet how soft his hands are on his waist. he's completely in love. suddenly, the plan doesn't matter as much anymore. its just him and jesper, on the dance floor, hearts and hands entangled with one another. (1:23-1:58)

they are both entirely entranced by one another, their eyes never parting. the rest of the room has picked up on this, the two handsome gentlemen dancing in the middle of the floor like they're dancing on clouds. naturally, the crowd starts to part as they spot this, just watching these two dance because it's all they can do. it's so natural. the crowd begin to watch in awe.

wylan and jesper dont even realise they are the only ones on the floor, all smiles and giddy giggles, just happy to be with one another. (1:58-2:18)

they are so incredibly in love with one another, it's unbelievable. nobody has anything seen something so pure and beautiful as this. as the music swells, jesper wraps a sturdy arm around wylans waist and picks him up off the floor, the two twirling around, having completely forgotten they are here to actually steal stuff. the only thing they seem to be stealing is each others hearts. eventually, as the music begins to soften again, jesper puts wylan down and for a moment, they stop. wylan wants to say so much, as so much, but he instead opts for the option he knows best; he kisses jesper with every ounce of love and wonder his body can produce. jespers hands are firmly holding wylans waist, wylans hands every so gently cupping jespers jaw, slightly pulling him down so that he doesn't have to strain on his tip toes. (2:18-2:30)

jesper is taken back, but smiles as they part. they rest their foreheads together and take a moment to catch their breath, before jesper whispers something to wylan that he at first thinks he imagines, and he looks at him all doe-eyed and surprised, about to burst with absolute joy. before wylan can respond or ask about it, the music starts up again, and jesper whisks him back into the dance, their bodies moving in perfect time. (2:30-2:46)

by this time every one is dancing again, but still keeping their eyes on these two love-struck idiots in the middle of it all. it is quite literally like the world revolves around them. again, its all smiles and giggles and stolen kisses, and wylan swears his heart is about to explode in his chest. (2:46-3:10)

as the music finally comes to an end, they slow to a stop, just standing and holding one another, their bodies pressed flush up against one another. kaz and nina are watching, hidden in the crowd that didn't join the dance floor. nina's jaw is basically on the floor as she turns to kaz, who actually has a bit of a smile smacked across his usually stoic face. its then she realises that kaz knew exactly what he was doing by placing them two on the dance floor together. she turns to him, smirking and says 'you had this planned all along, didn't you?' to which kaz just looks at her and says 'perhaps.' (3:10-end)

Tuca and Bertie an Analysis = The Fig tree theory

Anyways heres an appreciation post for our boy Figgy:

What do Fig trees symbolize:

"The fig tree is an ancient symbol of fertility, wisdom, and strength. The fig fruit was considered a sacred food by many cultures, including the Egyptians, who believed that it was the Goddess Isis herself who taught humans how to grow and enjoy figs."

I kind of wished in the show that they elaborated more on Figgy's backstory on well he is someone that sees sexual harassment as an issue that must be addressed, but no one else besides Tuca comes to the classroom to learn more about it, either because it's a "taboo" topic to address in person, or it's not taken seriously. (I prefer the ladder response.) We also see Tuca's response to this which shows her making her moves on Figgy, (season 3 leveling up) which Figgy is kind of reluctant to reciprocate, before finalizing the decision of Tuca's advancements towards him:

Considering how much younger Dakota is both mentally and psychologically, in contrast to Bertie who is much older than she is. It's a sad parallel to see that Bertie is used to mistreatment while Dakota is not. and all of this ties back to Figgy and her reaction to Tuca "learning nothing" about the sexual harassment course that Figgy was trying to teach to an almost empty classroom or the affects it can have on someone's mental state.
