My wonderful tumblrfable friends. The time has come for me to put on my conspiracy theory hat, because I believe the time has finally come for the long-awaited Titan Dragon customization revamp.

I first suspected when we saw Akriloth Jr appear in End of Magic (Part 1). Now, the latest Inn release has further cemented this theory in my mind, and I am now 89% sure this is happening.

For most of DF's history, most dragons have shared the same basic model.

What do these all have in common? The same basic foreclaws. Thin and delicate.

But both Akriloth Jr and the new Creatioux Ancient are different.

Danny was practicing shapeshifting with Amorpho when he felt the tug of a summoning and heard the distant words drifting into his mind.

Normally Danny would just ignore it. Or if it seems like this was a group that needed some sense scared into them, he'd shift into his Horror form and terrify them into never pulling this shit again. But then he heard them mention live sacrifices, and Danny just had to step in before that happened. So he let the summoning pull him on through, briefly forgetting he was shapeshifted into a... less than ideal form.

Danny lands in the circle right on top of one of the intended sacrifices, a group of people in weird outfits and, is that guy green? Irrelevant. Immediately Danny on knows something is very wrong. His powers feel muted and far away. His form suddenly feels, locked somehow.

He casts his gaze across the summoning circle and, to his horror, recognizes the binding ritual. These cultists wanted to bind and seal him in one of these mortal's bodies after they were sacrificed. But they fucked up the spell. Or maybe Danny fucked it up by coming in too soon? Irrelevant again.

What matters is the spell went sideways. Instead of locking Danny into one of the sacrifice's bodies, it locked him into his own form while pulling most of his abilities just out of reach. Now he's here. In the shape of- He's stuck as-

"Dude, is that a pigeon? Did the Ghost King, like, send you to voicemail?"

So the team might’ve gotten hit by a magic-user before being able to contain the whole bullshit chaos going on. But nothing happened! So they’re fine. But then when they go to sleep they…. Wake up? They’re tiny, with snouts and wings and covered in goo. They’re dreaming, they’re all confident in that, but it feels so life-like all the same. Their surroundings are alien, skies fading between unfamiliar constellations and a poisonous green as a large form encircles them. 

Stars flicker between fur and scales as a form rumbles, that same poisonous green dripping from scars as the dragon, for what else could it be, stares down at them oh-so gently. A long sinewy body twists into the shadows, flames burning a soft pink and wings upon wings coiling across its form. 

And when they awaken they nearly forget about it at first, yet each time their head hits their pillow, exhaustion weighing down their limbs, they blink their eyes back again, in that place of floating isles, broken keeps, and forms flickering in the skies. 

It’s not until they start talking that they realize they’re all dreaming of the same things.

Harding was a shepherd born to a seamstress and a trader. her mom named her "Lace" hoping that her daughter would be as pretty and delicate as lace. imagine being Harding now, going home to visit ur parents for the holidays or something and having to explain that like somehow despite being a dwarf you can do magic now all of a sudden 😭
