My Favourite Naat (Or at least one of them)
In the name of God, The most gracious, the most merciful.
Establish prayer, pay your zakat, and bow down with those who bow down. - Quran, 2:43
Peace and blessings upon everyone!
I hope life's treating you well. I’m Esmeray and I welcome you to this post on my blog Dear Esmeray.
Today I'll be sharing with you my favorite naat. This is the very first one that I learned when I was 7 or 8 years old, I loved it instantly, Still do.
The naat is in my mother tongue, Urdu, hence I'll provide English translation after every stanza.
Here we go, I hope you like it as much as I do.
Zikr-e-Khuda me har dam rehna Sab ke bas ki baat nahi Khwahish-e-nafs se bachte rehna Sab ke bas ki baat nahi
To be ever-immersed in remembrance of the Lord Is not something of everyone's capability. To stay protected from the soul's desires Is not something of everyone's capability.
Deen ke khatir ghar-ghar jana Taif jakar pathar khana Phir bi Duaen dete rehna Sab ke bas ki baat nahi
To go door-to-door for the true religion's sake To be pelted with stones at Taif, And to still keep praying for the stone pelters Is not something of everyone's capability.
[Taif is the place where stones were hurled at the holy Prophet, Peace be upon him.]
Ashab-e-Nabi toh sab ke sab Makhlooq me sab se afzal hai, Siddiq ke jaisa ashiq hona Sab ke bas ki baat nahi
Each of the prophet's companions Are indeed the best of creation, [But] to be an admirer like [Abu bakr] Siddiq Is not something of everyone's capability.
Ungli se ishara chand ke janib Saare insaan karte hain Ungli se chand ke tukde karna Sab ke bas ki baat nahi
Pointing towards the moon with a finger Is something all people do [But] To split the moon with a [pointing of the] finger Is not something of everyone's capability.
Duniya talashi duniya bhar mein Gasht lagate phirte hain Farooq ke jaisa Gasht lagana Sab ke bas ki baat nahi
The world's patrollers, in the whole world, Roam about patrolling. [But] to patrol like Umar Farooq Is not something of everyone's capability.
Usman-e-ghani ka hamsar hona Maal me beshak mumkin hai Zin-nurain ka rutba paana Sab ke bas ki baat nahi
To be the equal of Usman-e-ghani In terms of wealth, is indeed possible [But] To earn the title of Zin-Nurain (Possessor of two lights) Is not something of everyone's capability.
Islam ka jhanda haath mein lekar Haidar aage badhte hain Khaibar pe qabza kar lena Sab ke bas ki baat nahi
With the standard of Islam in his hands Haidar [Ali R.A] marches forward To seize hold of Khaibar [Like Ali] Is not something of everyone's capability.
Ashaab-e-paiyambar Deen ke upar Jaanein qurbaan karte hein Deen ke upar, jaan ka dena Sab ke bas ki baat nahi
All of the prophets's companions, for the sake of Islam Are ever inclined to sacrifice their lives, To sacrifice oneself for the sake of religion Is not something of everyone's capability.
Maarikaa-e-haqq-o-batil to Chalta hi rahega aakhir tak Haqq ki himayat karte rehna Sab ke bas ki baat nahi
This war of truth and falsehood Is an incessant everlasting affair [But] to remain an advocate for the truth Is not something of everyone's capability.
Dushman se badla lene ka Har ek ke dil me jazba hai Dushman ko gale se apne lagana Sab ke bas ki baat nahi
To get even with the enemy Is a fervent desire in everyone's heart [But] To embrace to one's chest the enemy Is not something of everyone's capability.
Ishq-e-nabi ka da'wa toh Asaan bahot hai, Farman-e-nabi par a'mil hona Sab ke bas ki baat nahi
To claim love for the Prophet Is an effortless endeavor indeed, [But] To act in effect the Prophet's orders Is not something of everyone's capability.
Kufr ki aisi zulmat me imaan ka bachana hai mushkil Muslim bankar Hind me rehna Sab ke bas ki baat nahi.
In these conditions of oppression by disbelievers Protection of faith is challenging To remain standing firm as a Muslim in Hind [India], Is not something of everyone's capability.
That was the naat, it holds a special place in my heart for several reasons, and I can only hope you liked it as much as I did.
With Love, Esmeray ♡

A long way from home
I always wanted to write something about Maglor's wife Cellin and how she goes searching for her husband. Daeron also made his way here and I'm not complaining. The relationship between him and Cellin can be interpreted however you want but I think of it as queerplatonic.
It had been her goal to find a lost, sad minstrel but as fate played out she ended up with the one she didn't go on a journey for. It was her first journey without any family or friends accompanying her and from the start it had seemed like it would be a lost cause to even go and search for him. Even her always optimistic father had said that such a search would be fruitless.
If someone doesn't want to be found, my dear it becomes an almost impossible task, he had said and smiled in her general direction.
She knew he wasn't just saying empty words but that he spoke from experience. When father said serious things like this he was always speaking from experience but Cellin was never brave enough to actually ask what had made him think that way. What had made him believe this was the way of things?
Now she looked in the direction where Daeron was waiting for her at the end of the pathway some people of the atani had made and wondered if her experience will be different from her father's.
Sure she hadn't found her husband - yet - but someone else whom her people had believed was lost forever.
Would she return with only Daeron in tow, the Sindar would probably praise her for bringing back their lost prince and maybe refrain from referring to her as the victim of her husband's wicked power, brainwashed and manipulated like they also did with Elrond whenever he spoke up in his father's behalf. Or rather done up until rather recently, since Cirdan had noticed it. And if there was one person in this world who could match the terrifying way in which Cellin's mother could show her disappointment, it was Cirdan.
Now the thing was that Cellin's didn't set out to find Daeron and she wouldn't return with only Daeron in tow. Even if everyone else would be overjoyed. Cellin's journey would have missed its purpose and she wasn't sure if she would ever find the courage to set out on another one ever again. She would always find something to do instead of traveling alone, no matter how much she yearned to see her husband again.
She was not an adventurer. Not in the sense in which they are portrayed in stories. She liked to travel in good company, with her family, their little caravan of wagons and a song on her lips, a known destination ahead and nothing to worry about except for the place they would rest at night. She was a comfortable person and she was wise enough to admit that. Her husband had known this too and never pushed her to do things she didn't want to do especially when it came to traveling.
Sure they had to pick up a more nomadic lifestyle halfway through the war but this had been a necessity not something Cellin could decide against. She could have decided against going on this journey and that's where the difference was.
The matter of choice.
She followed Daeron down the path further south, through the lands of those of the atani who not yet had discovered the wheel and who still lived in huts made of clay and dried grass. Those people watched them pass through their little settlements with wonder in their eyes, trading their knowledge of the land willingly for one of Daeron's songs or Cellin's handcrafted toys for their children.
Celllin could watch them for hours for they had not yet seen the terrors of the world and lived and thrived at their own pace, much like her own people had done according to legend.
Neither her nor Daeron spoke much with one another. Their travels were wrapped in silence, like they were strangers… which they weren't.
Cellin had been Daeron's friend when both of them had been children and they had done everything together, had shared secrets and made promises. Cellin was sure that if she hadn't met Maglor she would've ended up marrying Daeron, even if she wouldn't have loved him in the same way she loved her husband. And if she was being honest she still would marry him any day, not out of the same love that she felt for Maglor but out of a very similar feeling.
She didn't know if he felt the same way. He had always been incredibly difficult to read even during the time when they were the closest. But once again she was not brave enough to actually speak to him when the silence between them became too much for her, instead she would start humming some silly traveling song her father had made up of she would keep herself distracted by watching their surroundings with even more care than necessary.
She noticed the side glance he would give her but since he never said anything, Cellin assumed he just found it silly how she behaved.
Only very rarely would he join her in her silly songs and those were some of the most carefree times on their journey, reminding Cellin very much of her life before the War, before the Fall, before everything. Those moments never lasted long and she mourned them once they were over. The memory however she kept close to her heart, so that it could make the silence that would always follow again more bearable.
"We're coming closer to the shores," Daeron said one day when they once again left an atani village behind. "I can smell the salt of the sea."
"Can you?" Cellin wondered. "I didn't know that."
"Me neither," he replied and shrugged. "Father never allowed me to go near the shore and I never actively went there myself even after I left."
"It's… nice," Cellin said but tried not to think about the last time she had seen the sea, tainted red in the blood of yet another fight her father-in-law's path had caused his son's to take.
"So I have heard but there is even more. Some of the villagers spoke of a ghost that roams the black shores to the southwest, with a voice as enchanting as a siren - whatever that may be."
He didn't need to say more because Cellin knew what this could mean. She would've loved to cry out in joy.
"We shouldn't get our hopes up," Daeron said and put a hand on her shoulder. "Humans tell many tales and most of them prove to be quite untrue, they're not good at remembering history correctly."
"Every tale holds a bit of truth," Cellin shot back and Daeron just nodded.
Neither of them asked the other why they hadn't bothered looking near the sea in the first place, given that everything Cellin had heard always said that her husband was wandering the shorelines, but then again Cellin had never asked Daeron why he was helping her and Daeron had never asked Cellin what she actually was looking for. There was a silent understanding between them, that didn't need questions or answers.
They took the little they had and continued to travel, this time with a destination in mind and Cellin felt how this alone made her feel much more comfortable.
The closer they came to the shore, the more frequently they were plagued by storms and rain. Thunder would roar high in the clouds with the might of ten thousand lions and lightning would strike across the dark skies as bright as a star. They would huddle together under the cover of the trees, Daeron's large cloak covering their heads, shielding them from the cold, the rain, the lashing winds.
Still they didn't speak much but the silence between them was different now. Cellin couldn't put into words what had changed but she wouldn't dare to complain.
She would wait and listen to the thunder, the distant waves, the howling winds and Daeron's quiet breathing near her ear. And sometimes, sometimes there was something that sounded like a voice carried by the wind but each time she thought to hear it it would be swallowed by some other noise.
"It's not your imagination," Daeron would tell her, calmly stroking her shoulder. "I hear it too."
"Just like you can smell the salt?"
"Hm.." He replied and smiled faintly. "Just like I smell the salt. Come now the sky is clearing up. It is time to reach the shore."
Eventually they did so and it was as the villagers had told them. The sand upon these shores was a black as obsidian, as the darkest night under a starless sky but it was warm underneath their bare feet when they walked on it, following the distant voice even further south.
Cellin wondered which part of the world they had reached now and whether her husband would lead them to the end. How far would Lake Cuivienen be from where they were now? And would it be like her father and mother had told her? Should she ask Daeron if he wanted to go looking for it on their way back?
If he wanted to return with her and Maglor that was. She wasn't sure if he would. Maybe he preferred to travel like this? Was it possible that he only helped her find her husband and would leave them once they had done so?
The thought actually made her sad and before she knew it she was wiping tears off her cheeks. Tears that had somehow found their way from her eyes and didn't go unnoticed by her companion.
"He's not far, no need to cry now. You'll be able to go home with him soon enough."
But what about you?, she wanted to ask but her throat could produce no sound aside from ungly sobs. Won't you come with us? Will you leave us? Again?
He stroked her back and helped her silently through the avalanche of emotions that had overtaken her heart.
Eru, she loved him, as much as one could love their best friend, as much as one could love their family. She wouldn't want to go home without him, leave him. It would feel like leaving a part of her soul behind. She knew that feeling all too well, she had experienced it before and she didn't want to live through that pain again.
"You're not crying because you're happy to see him again?" Daeron asked.
"I… I am happy," Cellin replied when she found her voice again. "But I'm also sad because finding him would mean for you to leave us."
He remained silent then and in silence they continued to walk, towards the voice that was lamenting, only fueling the many feelings that were battling inside her chest with all the sadness told of.
Daeron's hand remained on her shoulder for the rest of this short way.

Daily Rikara Ramblings
I wasn't gonna do this today but someone said they wished i did them, and their wish is my command, so.
Waise I'm so glad they cut the show back to half hour again. Now i can watch the entire epi if I'm bored. One hour was just too much. You couldn't even ffwd without your fingers aching.
Ahahhahahhaha, the precap looks LIT!
And wtf, lagta hai sare segments aaj k hi epi mein hai. Rikara moving faster than the bullet train today.
You know, I don't have big family, or Oberoi's jitna money, so maybe I'm way off-base here but why do these people have such weird seating arrangements? Matlab har bar couples me baithna zaroori hai? No need to make poor omkara feel like the fifth wheel. Waise bhi bichara #FureverAlone hai. No need to rub it in.
Seriously, ₹2 game hi hai. Who plays truth and dare in this day and age? We play candy crush like men.
Okay, i can't with rudra being back to his lovable self when i want to hate him for years. Chalo, at least his creepy smile is gone.
Wtf, why is he so scared of bombs now? Jab bhavya ki jaan bachani thi, tab toh bada iron man ban raha tha
Kya bakwas hai. Lol.
Oh my god Bhavya wtfffff. OM servants are gonna hate your guts. Ye sab saff kaun karega?
ShivKara giving Ru pyaar like he isn't the 2nd most evul asshole in the room.
Shivaay my son, i knew you would be the one to bring up gauri. Baki toh no one gives a fuck. Bus tu hi gauri ki team me hai.
Uff, this loser and his tragedy. I wish i could feel bad for him, but I've lost all patience. Matlab ye aadmi galti se ungli na utha de to fight for his love. He couldn't even fuckin talk to her before leaving first. Like i wasn't even surprised cause i knew yeh asshole yahi karega. Ab ro baith k corner me. #no1curr
Ha! Rudy me bhi is se zyada dimag hai. For once this fucker isn't 2000% unlikable.
Waise i love how no one's worried about silly things like polygamy, or divorce. everyone's wants to complete Omkara's ishqbaazi ka safar except himself. Wah, kya family hai.
Shivaay, Omkara ishqbaaz nahi GiveupBaaz hai. Ain't no body gon do a thing. You gotta force him as usual.
Even annika's 100% more determined than Omkara to stop this marriage. But yeh mahashay bas side me baithkar royenge.
Wow, kya beta hai aapka mam. Koi aur ladki pasand nahi aa rahi thi toh he started dore daling on a married woman. Bahut khushi ki baat hai.
Omg Gauri, STFU about Omkara and marry Ajay. At least je isn't passive like him. And c'mon, if annika fell in love with Shivaay after he forced her to marry him and threatened to blow up her brother toh phir ye ajay kis khet ki mooli hai. You'll learn to love him. Trust.
I KNEW GAURI HAD A PLAN. MY CHIRRIYA IS ACTION CHIRRIYA, NOT ABLACHIRRYA. HAH!
Gauri's mom seems to have accepted her decision all heartily. Chalo, at least we don't have to suffer none of her patidev bhashan anymore.
"manzil khud musafir ka pas chali aati hai"
OFC YOU WOULD SAY THAT FUCKER. HAVE YOU EVER EVEN LIFTED A FINGER TO SAVE THIS RELATIONSHIP? SAB KUCH GAURI HI KARTI HAI. FUCK YOU.
Aww, man, that was such a loaded statement. Stop making me feel bad for you fucker. I'm not gonna melt today, I'm NOT.
These Oberoi's, my god. Dusron k ghar me bhi entry tadi se marenge. LOL.
But sardar Sso cracked me upp. Why is rudy in army uniform though? Bas army ka hi mazak udana reh gya tha is show me. Baki professions ki toh OMM kar di hai.
Lol daadi maa Annika.
How has gauri not recognized bhavya? Itna bhi andha koi kaise ho sakta hai
Shit Shivaay you duffer. Gauri definitely recognized you! Sare IBverse me you're the only kanji aankhein wala guy.
Or maybe that was his plan. Cause omkara ka bas chalta toh woh gauri ki Bidaai bhi kar deta
Ugh my AniRi heart.
LMAOO ANNIKA WHAT THE FUCK. LOL.
Hahhaha, annika's cray dancing is me when no one's watching. But kya confidence hai, lajawab!
HOW IS GAURI NOT RECOGNIZING BHAVYA? WHAT FUCKERY IS THIS??
OH FINALLY. CHALO, OMKARA KO TOH PEHCHANA. THANK.FUCK.
YAAAAASSS QUEEN, FUCK HIM UPPP!!
Omkara crying and gid gidaying is my new aesthetic. Matlab kya sukoon mil raha hai mere dil ko, you don't even know. Grovel for eternity you loser.
"Ek baar hamare bare mein nahi socha aur faisla le liya"
Now you know how it feels.
Omkara's grovelling is also useless like him. Will you ever stop blaming her for your mistakes, you failure? Will i ever get to see the day? Will any Rikarian?
"kyunki main tumhare bina nahi reh sakta"
Okay, lowkey feels, but i want more grovelling. Chalo, finally kuch toh phoota iske muh se.
"poori izzat aur samman k saath"
Yeah this is literally the least you can do after shredding her self respect to bits.
DAYUMMM, THE PRECAP IS LIT.IT.IS.LIT. I Knew it was a love confession. HAHHAHHAHAH. I feel so validated when my predictions come true. Lmao.

Pls, Forgive ME
i know everythig is relevant; and as i put you into my perspective, i am somewhat diminishing your true potential; but i’m sorry; i need you, i am your prolem because you are here to really help humanity, practically; that is why i come at you, in hope at a time you need a person like me to work onto; and i hope we develop a relationship because i wanna be like you - this is more responsible and powerful than what i have see before; i am sifting all of my memories and the things i hold dear in my heart through your energy and teachings, and it really changes a lot - i see ways of bettering everythign <3 tahnkyou! that is why i am so selfish andbold; by no means do i believe i am ‘right’ about anything/everything <3 i beg you for your forgiveness; and i don’t mean to abuse your strength either; i like myself being weak, i need to emphasize that again; maybe that is a grand lessonyou need to/should/could learn as teacher/parent/human/person - i like my dying nature, i like to have a life an dthen go to rest in the earth in peace; i don’t mind the physicl pains - being fat after birth, being in pain through my period, getting ill if i go out i th ecold with wet hair and getting fever; i love being ill and close to death because i feel fully loved; my body is programmed to remember the joy and love of teh Universe whenever it repairs itself by itself when it has forced me to take a break from life’s hussle and just sleep/be i peace; this is beautiful, death is beautiful; it is not scary to be reborn and to depend on othr people; nto really; look at me - i survived, and before gettingint spirtual shit, i thrived, and my life was really very high vibe; but the only book i had read about spirituality was herman hesse;s siddhartha; and my innate nature tellsme taht was on purpose - i ahve a tietan master/lama within me, maybe past life stuff, idk - who  has come to udnerstand taht the joy nd beauty of existence is to endure hardships; and teh desire for death and non-existence is shameful in the sense only weak people commit it; strog peopelwho are in tune with the universe always find a way to prosper, evenin the most not-good situations;
so teh anger with aprents, teh law of attraction and many htings, if nto very healthy, if you could use my opinion;
see arranged marriages, for example - peoplegot wedded before most of the time out of pure ecessity to continue the line of the dna; and not bad matches occurred that way; it is nto healthy to seek for only certain things ad dismiss everythign else alog the way; taht is escapism;
teh truth is whe you are inlove with nature , humanity, existence and life, you can see beauty everywhere; and you dn’t actually need a specific one to procreate and feel good about yourself, because there are others who also deserve you, nd who are awesome as well; addictio to adrenaline is still an addiction; addiction to the thrill of perfect union and that savoury sense of bonding and passion that the warriors of old had - teh samurai, for example, is not something that ca be universal ad common, i believe; peopleneed peaace, nto only fighting all their lives; this si not helthya nd this stress lead to degeneration - look at spartan warriors - this is nothing, they did nothing much; they were just their time’s hollywood - soemthign unrealistic taht is told in tales nobody is interested in except for the people who want power over others;
i am sorry to say that you yourself have fallen in the power game the illuminati/americans play; genuine teachers abandon teir self; their ego, and just teach the masses; but not only the clean and wealthy masses - taht is escapismm; they teach ina frica,and in bangladesh, and in teh slums of macao.... because they wanna see the objective reality,a s much as tehy can;
so this is a thorn in you - why can’t you let go of power, why can’tyou be small, ahy can’t you be ungly, why can’t you be thom yorke [lzy eye/creep]; are you superior to us/otehrs? how, why do you wanna overn us without being one of us - see the movie the dreamers to get a perspectiveof deep compassion, expressed cinematically during the wartime i europe;
i am your teacher; i have went to psychiatries because fo spiritual teachers like you; i tell you this because you are seekign the truth nto only of your perspective, but of others’; i might have been a bad person,but i didn’t need to be knocked down off my feet in such a brutal way; teach people out of compassion for them - with love; see into their future reactions and create techigns that would enable you to be there a step further soa s to hold their hand whenever their need it, after you had seemingly kicked their back and abandoned themby themselves; or lure them passionately, secually to you so that you do the work for them yet they feel bliss and satisfaction, because you have desiged each lesso for them; im sorry to be that open but you’re not doing it right; studyold masters, study scared prostitution in china, study japanese culture; study buddhist teachings off the cannon -somethign non-biased, somethign that sprang into existence by sheer power of the universe’s love, somethign uncontrollable; like ikkyu sojun
somethig no ego would wanna hear;
im sorry but i am here to warn you/put into perspective for you you are making mistakes/ ad tht is affecting ME personally, through virtue of the intercnectedness of everything;
Tumblr media
i have my own black thorns too, but i eed to cofront people like you - you are the secongd spiritual teacher i do taht to, in order to heal them; maybe the problem is nto you, but me; i need to know; to the bottom; i feel anger and rage at beign controlled; so, please, bare that in mind; beign tricked is better - it’s more clever and i can let go people who trick me - i can’t let go people who control me, because their actions are bsed on fear, not selfishness;
your actons are based on ear, teal swan; be grunge, be ugly, be messy for a change; or you’ll be the hardcore bitch descended from heaven who wants us all dead because we’re not perfect enough; and i say that because i wanna partner with you and make it wso that your divinity stays with us, lower density people - i want you to be good etacher to us so taht we take all from you, by design; so open up fully; dont hold anythign back; i hope this message gets to you because it might trigger your flight because of fear of aloneness and pain;
youre gonna become even more magnificent if you let everythig that is unnecessery go; even people like me; let us go; let us make mistakes, even, if we need to; we can handle that; if not - figure out a way to lure us into not committing those sins/mistakes; but not demand; i can’t answer demands, only love-calls; and i ahve the right to have that strong ego ad self-assertiveness; you do, too; please, do!!!!

Hi, Maisooma right? I know you are quite frustrated with RiKara's track so how would you have written their story? I'm not a fan of them although I like their chemistry. I loved IshKara and honestly I thought someone like Ishana should be opposite Om rather than Gauri. I mean in ishqbaaaz their ideologies were contrasting and had the potential to be something not seen before on Indian TV. But the makers scrapped them after giving a silly track. It's sad that Om got a lead after being butchered.
Hahaha, I bet you found me through twitter xD Anyway, brace yourself becausethis is going to be LONG!!!
Hayyee...how would I have written their story? :’) The major differencewould be that I would’ve given them a STORY for starters. Unlike whatever theDBO writers have been doing which is nothing more than giving them scenes sothey have screen space in every episode but those scenes don’t contribute intheir overall journey whatsoever. The potential for RiKara to have an amazingstory IS there but the writers are too busy introducing various villains andtheir boxes to care about any of that.
But first let’s talk about IshKara. On paper, IshKara made ALL the sense inIB. Although Ishaana was a load goofier than I would’ve wanted her to be butshe was a good “takkar” to Omkara. She was the lie to his truth. The freespirit to his chains. The “tedhi ungli” to his “honesty is everything”. Moreimportantly, she had the guts to actually point out to Omkara just howhypocritical he was in his Sach Hi Sab Kuch wali approach to things. She washis contradiction but also the same as him; they both masked their pain for thesake of their family. But all of this was on paper. Hardly any of it wasproperly translated on screen. My bullshit o meter had rung strongly when wekept having scenes where she “accidentally” ran into him. And then that wholeBela/Mala angle? Ridiculous. I wasn’t surprised when Ishaana was scrappedbecause the way the IshKara “track” was being handled, bacha bhi dekh le thatit was all in jokes and they weren’t being really serious about it.
Incidentally, IshKara then was basically what is RiKara now. A joke. Butunlike Vrushika, they can’t scrap Shrenu as she is the lead of the show. Orthey can. I wouldn’t put it past them.
Back to RiKara.
IB!Omkara would not have suited Gauri, agreed. If anything, they would’vehit off quite well actually considering how their ideologies matched. Heck,even their professions matched. He sculpted the statues she made clothes for. Forthem to have takkar, Omkara’s character had to go through a phase where hewillingly left his past self behind. He embraced the shadows. He stoppedthinking with the heart and became all logic and mind. Because that’s how hecould protect his family from hisfamily. Omkara of the past had been hurt before but that didn’t stop him fromgiving people a chance. DBO!Omkara is different as he started from the notewhere “his favor, once lost, was gone forever”. And that is how the “takkar”between Omkara and Gauri was created.
There’s nothing I would change about the initial two weeks. Bareilly trackwas the FINEST writing this show churned out. I don’t think anything can topthose episodes in terms of the writing and presentation. I can understand whyOmkara misunderstood Gauri like that. I can understand why Gauri never outrighttold him just what was going on with her. Fate brought them together again andagain but it was Fate’s job to fix the issues between them. Issues started withthe Chulbul track. Because it went on for too long and for ALL the wrongreasons. Chulbul was necessary, I understand. But instead of the ChulKararelationship being about them as individuals, they wasted all the time in themteaming up against Svetlana. To the point that it seemed to me that if we takeSvetlana’s danger away from them, they wouldn’t have a friendship anymore. That’swhere I would’ve changed it.Svetlana ka issue would’ve been their side business, not main purpose. I would’vegiven them loads of scenes where they do nothing but talk. As Chulbul, Gauriwould’ve seen that her Jatadhari Hippie was not always the angry young man whoonly liked saying “Get lost!” all the time. She would’ve seen his softer side.She would’ve known how he used to be. She would’ve questioned him why didn’t hepaint anymore? She would’ve seen him with his brothers. She would’ve seen himwillingly give up his own life for the sake of his mother. In Chulbul Omkarawould’ve seen the Gauri he missed. The girl who was always dealt the worst handby life but she never let that get her spirits down. The one who has assolution for everything. The one who has a smile for every darkness. The one whowould go to any length for the sake of her mother. Because isn’t that whatOmkara is? Chulbul would’ve reminded Omkara of the light he left behind. Hewould’ve scoffed at Chulbul’s childishness but he would’ve learned to live withhim. I wouldn’t have put so many scenes of physical proximity. In my hands, theChulKara bond would’ve been all about the souls finding their match.
I can live with the Kali Thakur re-entry and the ultimate truth reveal. ILOVED Gauri’s Thakurain roop so that would’ve been there. For the blow to be hard,it was necessary to remind Omkara of the ugliness of the world that he thinksGauri is all about. That hatred would’ve been there. I don’t think I would’veliked Omkara to leave Gauri at KT’s feet like he did in DBO. That was cruel. SoOmkara would’ve saved Gauri but he would’ve abandoned her as soon as he could.And because I know the PH can’t shoot this drama away from its ONE set, Omkarawould’ve brought Gauri back on a contract basis. I saved you, now you help me.Would my Omkara be this harsh with Gauri like DBO’s Omkara is? Probably. But myOmkara wouldn’t be a mystery as DBO’s Omkara is. I would’ve put in loads ofintrospection scenes. I would’ve shown just WHAT was going on his mind. The Chulbulvs Gauri conflict would’ve taken its sweet time in actually being shown. Hewould’ve struggled. What is lie? What is truth? Because that’s what Gauribrings in Omkara’s life – the need to reassess situation. Not everything iswhat it seems but Omkara has never realized that. He is mostly too wrapped upin HIS version of reality that the actual truth escapes his eyes.
THIS is where the physical proximity would’ve come in cuz THAT’S WHY DRAMASARE WATCHED!! RiKara would’ve had a proper nok-jhok wali relationship. Gauri’sChulbul side would mix with her Dabanng side leaving Omkara a conflicted mess.Because the ChulKara track means they KNOW each other for what they actuallyare, it’s just their egos coming in between that wouldn’t allow them to seethat side. Their tracks wouldn’t be BuaMaa and her Ratan mystery. No. Therewould be no Gauri being a super biwi with mythological analogies like Savirtisaving her husband. Omkara would’ve actual agency. He wouldn’t be there for thesake of the convenience of the saas-bahu drama that DBO is becoming when itcomes to RiKara. I would’ve shown RiKara properly ending Svetty’s track butthem still bound in a three month contract marriage. I would show them slowlybecoming friends again. I would show them getting closer, first reluctantlythen willingly. I would show Gauri reminding Omkara of the light he leftbehind. I would show Omkara teaching Gauri that just because she is a womandoesn’t mean she has to worship the ground her “husband” walks on. They would’vefilled the missing gaps in each other. So much so that he’d be her and she’dbecome him. I would’ve shown Gauri actually falling for Omkara but bound by herpromise she wouldn’t force herself on him, she would’ve kept her feelingshidden. His proximity would’ve bothered her, but she would’ve craved it more. I’dshow Omkara trusting Gauri despite what his mind tells him. Because his heartfinds peace with her. They would’ve talked, they would’ve joked, they would’vefought, they would’ve gotten so comfortable with each other that being in closeproximity would feel natural.
Oh! But where’s the conflict? Here’s the conflict! The conflict would beOmkara REFUSING to believe that what he feels for Gauri is love. No, she’s afriend. And the contract is coming to an end soon so main apne raaste, wo apneraaste. And because I love this track, he would’ve offered her to get marriedto good man worthy of her. She would’ve fought him because no! And he would askher WHY?! It’s not like they are married. They were just pretending to bemarried for these three months. That’s what their contract was about. And ifshe counts those rounds around the fire in Bareilly as a proper marriage thenshe’s mistaken. And Gauri is shook. Omkara tells his family everything andthere’s a proper “Hamari Bahu Ki Vyaah” type scene. With everyone happilycelebrating Gauri’s marriage as a thank you for all she did for their family.IMAGINE THE DRAMA! And it’s during all of those things that Omkara will realizethat shit, it’s not that easy letting go of her. Is it just because he’s becomehabitual of being around her? But why does her talking to another guy make himangry so? Then at last shaadi ke din Omkara ki tubelight jale gi and he’d sayNOW HOLD UP!! But before he can confess his love, the groom will come out as ashady man and marriage will be cancelled. Because dramas can’t run withoutbeing dragged na!
Okay I’m being carried away xD Lest I end up writing a whole script, I’llstop here. But you get the gist na? If RiKara were in my hand, I would makesure THEY were the focus. THEIR feelings. BALANCED. Because to me, RiKara areall about the said and unsaid. They aren’t about fighting crazy villains withtheir boxes. No. They are a team. They are the missing parts of each other butthey have to work to find that. And that can’t happen unless there is a proper andbalanced focused on both of them. Their journey is not just finding out whatthe other person is all about, but in process realize just what has been missingin their life. It’s them finding their own selves but in each other. That’sRiKara for me. And DBO is giving me anything but. I don’t want their scenes.ShreNal have the chemistry and acting chops to make ANY scene work. I want theirSTORY. I want their JOURNEY. I want them relationship to have basis in thembeing soulmates because REALLY! That’s what they are!

I’ve got some GOOD news and some BAD news for you. It comes from a saying by William H. Johnson: “If it is to be, it’s up to ME.” What this means is that success is 100% within our control. So why is it both good AND bad?

Nana Patekar Quits Housefull 4, Says Appropriate For Team's Convenience
New Delhi: Nana Patekar who was to star in Housefull 4, has stepped down from the project. Nana Patekar who has been accused of sexual harassment by Tanushree has stepped out from the movie, saying that it will be convenient for the production team. As we know that Akshay Kumar who is the part of the movie 'Houseful 4' has cancelled the shoot for the film over allegations against certain members of the film's team. Speaking to news agency ANI, the veteran actor's son Malhar said Mr Patekar quitting the project is the 'appropriate' step. "Nana sahib thought of the convenience of everybody as he wishes the best for the producer and the crew and hence felt that stepping out of the project would be an appropriate thing to do at this point of time."
The statement of  Nana Patekar's exit came few hours later of Sajid Khan's statement. Sajid Khan who was to direct the movie has stepped down from the project as he has been gripped under the #MeeToo Movement where he has been accused of sexual misconduct with actresses Rachel White (Ungli), Saloni Chopra (TV series Screwed Up), and journalist Karishma Upadhyay. After which Sajid Khan even tweeted and wrote:  "In the wake of the allegations against me and the pressure being put on my family, my producers and are the stars of my film Housefull 4, I must take the moral responsibility of stepping down from my directorial post, till the time I can allay the allegations and prove the truth. I request my friends in the media to kindly not pass judgement till the truth is out."
Two weeks ago, the #MeToo movement in India was set in motion by Tanushree Dutta, who named Mr Patekar as her alleged harasser. In separate interviews, one among them to NDTV, Ms Dutta alleged Mr Patekar misbehaved with her on the sets of Horn 'OK' Pleassss in 2008. Nana Patekar denied Ms Dutta's claims and subsequently sent a legal notice to Ms Dutta asking for an apology. Ms Dutta, who has been promised help by top film body Cine And TV Artists Association or CINTAA and has also reached out to the Maharashtra Women Commission, filed an FIR against Mr Patekar in Mumbai earlier this week.
Today, Akshay Kumar, who was holidaying abroad, tweeted to say that the shooting of Housefull 4 has been stalled till 'further investigation'. Riteish Deshmukh, who also stars in Housefull 4, 'seconded' Akshay Kumar's decision.
When Tanushree Dutta named and shamed Nana Patekar as a sexual predator, Mr Patekar was shooting with Team Housefull 4 in Jaisalmer. Soon after his return to Mumbai, Nana Patekar briefly met the media and said: "My lawyer has asked me to not talk to any channel, have to listen to him. I would say what I said 10 years back, the truth doesn't change." Before the press meet, Nana Patekar told Times Now that it would have been impossible for him to harass Ms Dutta on a crowded set and that he would sue for defamation.
As the #MeToo wave caught up with Bollywood, industry celebrities such as Alok Nath, Subhash Ghai, Kailash Kher and Vikas Bahl, among others have been named as alleged sexual harassers. Earlier this week, Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao stepped away from a film because of sexual misconduct allegations against a team member.

Navin gets ready for the rasam. Anupam says this will suit you. Navin asks him to leave. Anupam says we are similar. Navin says not again. Anupam says truth is we both are cheap, what we desire, we get it, you wanted Prerna and got her, I wanted to become Ghar jamai and have become that. Navin taunts. Suman asks Veena to think and attend Prerna’s rasam. Veena refuses. Rajesh asks them to get ready and attend Prerna’s rasam. Suman gets glad. Prerna sees everyone leaving. She thanks them. Veena says we are going as its our duty, we are helpless and unhappy. Moloy calls Rajesh. Suman answers call. Moloy asks where is Rajesh. She thinks he doesn’t know about Prerna and Navin’s rasam, he may talk to Rajesh and spoil things. She says Rajesh isn’t here. Moloy says ask him to call me. He is at airport and says Mohini will get big surprise seeing me. Suman lies to Rajesh. Rajesh asks her to get phone. Suman says we are getting late, I forgot the phone. Mohini asks Anurag to wear a nice suit, Navin’s rasam is happening. He asks what, in this age? He has married twice, and now thrice? She says since a man’s bank balance is attractive, he is young and his bride is adorned, bride is ready to marry him. He asks who is she. She says you know her. He asks what, who. She asks him to get ready and come fast. She goes. He asks who’s that girl, who is so desperate to marry Navin for money. He recalls Chandrika. He thinks maybe she is the one marrying Navin for money. Navin waits for Prerna. She comes with family. Navin greets Rajesh and Veena. He takes their permission to take Prerna in. He holds Prerna’s hand and takes her. He says I m very lucky, you, your heart and body are mine from now. She goes away. Anurag gets dressed and come down. He sees Prerna and thinks maybe mom invited them, but why, where is Chandrika and her family. He waves to Prerna. She turns away. Pandit explains rituals. Mohini and Veena go. Mohini says Prerna is smart, you are smart and didn’t see her future. Prerna goes to see Veena. Prerna asks Anurag where is the temple. He guides her. He says Chandrika is weird, I m sure she is the one marrying Navin, I can’t believe girls keep their goals and self respect aside, and give importance to money, sorry I know you are not like them, relations matter to you. Navin comes and says you are here, I wanted to introduce you to friends. He holds Prerna and asks Anurag how did you like my choice, I m marrying Prerna, don’t you know, Navin weds Prerna. Anurag gets shocked. Navin says I m lucky and got her. Anurag looks at her. Navin says you did your work, I have to keep my promise. Anurag thinks how is this happening, Prerna with Navin, impossible, why is she marrying. Nivedita says mom took Veena inside to give her something, Tapur better start caring, if mom is doing much for Navin’s wife, she can give away everything to Anurag’s wife. Anurag comes to her and says Navin and Prerna’s marriage. Nivedita says yes, its weird, there is no standard, Prerna is a smart girl, Navin fell for her. Anurag looks on and thinks no, Prerna looks uncomfortable with Navin, there is something wrong with this marriage. Navin asks shall we go to bedroom, I wish to show you bedroom. He holds her hand and takes her. Anurag thinks does dad know all this. Moloy recalls talking to Rajesh about Prerna and Anurag’s marriage. Rajesh says my wives will fight with us, Prerna will get bored with Anurag, mind and heart aren’t together. Moloy says something two incomplete people complete each other. FB ends. Moloy thinks to take Prerna and Anurag’s marriage talk ahead after reaching home. Prerna feels sorry. Pandit tells rituals. Mohini asks Anurag to do all rituals in Moloy’s absence. Anurag does rituals and sees Prerna. Pandit asks Anurag to say best wishes in bride’s ears. Anurag asks why are you doing this, tell me if this is forced marriage, get up right away, I m there with you, yes…. Mohini asks Prerna to give her Patri to take rasam ahead. Prerna gives patri. Pandit gives two mahurats. Navin selects early mahurat. Shekhar says no, we won’t get time so soon. Mohini says all rasams will happen in Bengali style. Prerna says early mahurat will be fine Navin ji and Bengali rasams too. Navin says fine then. Moloy gets eager to reach home. Mohini says you are smart, take this necklace from my side. Nivedita says that’s mine. Anupam says let it be, I will steal it later and get it. Navin asks Prerna to come with him. Mohini says now Prerna is yours, you don’t even need Prerna’s permission, you can go anywhere you want. Navin gets glad and takes Prerna along. Anurag thinks why did Navin take Prerna to room. Navin asks Prerna to come inside the room. He says we met here for the first time, you have come to me, London’s bedroom is big and comfortable, you will like it. He hugs her. She makes him away. Precap:Navin gives cheque to Prerna. Anurag comes. She hides the cheque. Mohini says Prerna is yours. Navin holds Prerna’s hand. Update Credit to: Amen
