I will say…I am curious on what Mark and Adam are like in the whole lake mandala-

Mark was born and raised in Mandela, and works for his family's farm, which is in a field outside of town. Basically helps around town with things. At least he worked there until he was in his early twenties, where he moved out. He's a nice dude, albeit a bit irritable sometimes, and overall just. wishes to move out of Mandela one day.

As for Adam, he's actually one of the few people in Mandela that's from another county. (Bythorne) He hangs out with Jonah and Sarah mainly (Sarah who was born and raised in Mandela and Jonah who moved in a few years earlier.) He's. really wondering what's going on in Mandela as a whole, and will do anything to find something abnormal and worthwhile there.

the voice was soft and airy, akin to your brother's when he was first waking up in the morning or your mother's when she wasn't in her work mode (which was very rare at this point). when you looked up, you were greeted with another cecaelia.

their skin was dark, almost pitch black. their tentacles had bright blue tips that seemed to glow in the water. however, as opposed to your tentacles, theirs were connected with thin webbing. their hair was a rusty red color, their curls bobbing in the water and covering their right eye. the one eye you could see was crystal blue, wide and full of curiosity just like your brother. two fins stuck out from their curls, drooping a bit to their sea floor.

"how'd you do that?" they repeated, pointing at the water that swirled in towards the paper.

you couldn't say anything at first. be it because you were afraid of interaction or because you genuinely had no idea what you just did, you weren't sure. but, no matter the cause, your silence seemed to only stoke the flames of the cecaelia's curiosity.

"i've never seen magic like that..." they muttered, drifting down to the seafloor in front of you. they settled down, their tentacles resting on the sand. "what was it?"

"um..." you managed to utter, your hand shakily reaching out to grab your pen. "i-i don't... um..."

"can you do it again?" they asked, seemingly unphased by your stammering. they stared at you, their single blue eye that you could see wide with amazement. "please?"

you could only nod and grab another spare piece of paper. you flipped it over, brushing it off as a simple contract draft your mother had written in her spare time, and began scribbling on the paper again. you made the same sigil, an s surrounded by arrows and a single, large circle.

immediately, the same reaction occurred. a vortex formed, swirling about and dragging the water and seaweed closer to the paper. the cecaelia beamed from fin to fin, clapping their hands excitedly like a child.

"your magic is so cool!" they cheered, their eye seemingly sparkling as they stared at you.

"th...thank you..." you mutter under your breath. the cecaelia smiled softly at you, finally noticing your nervousness.

"i'm hemming." they introduced, holding out their hand. "it's nice to meet you!"

"...(name)." you whispered, slowly and shakily taking their hand in yours. "nice to... meet you, too..."

hemming was nice. and curious. you liked that about them. with your brother slowly drifting away from you in favor of his magical studies and the tweels, hemming somehow filled his place in your heart. they reminded you of azul with their wide-eyed fascination for all things in the world.

hemming's visits motivated you to work harder, as well. it seems both you and azul got your hard-working diligence from your mother. each time hemming swam their way over to you, you would have a new sigil to show them. and, no matter how small and mundane the spell was, hemming rewarded you with amazed cheers and genuine cries of awe.

however, you did wonder where exactly hemming came from. you had seen plenty of merpeople come and go, but you never knew where they went when the time for two to part came.

"hemming." you called to them one day. "where do you live? is it far?"

"mm, a bit..." hemming hummed, their voice trailing off near the end. "...promise you won't freak out?"

"i promise."

hemming paused once more. they were nervous, maybe just as nervous as you were when you first met them. they took a quick glance around as if making sure no one was listening.

they looked back at you.

then took one more glance around.

"...the abyss." hemming whispers. the moment that name leaves their lips, a chill runs down through your tentacles.

your mother had only mentioned the abyss once. it was where your father would move to once the divorce was finalized.

hemming fidgeted under your gaze. and the longer you stared, the more they trembled.

"i'm sorry... i... i'll go--"

"no!" you don't know what compelled you to cry out or to grab their wrist. but you did. and hemming stared back at you with wide eyes. and the next words that fell from your lips shocked you more than they did hemming.

"can i visit?"

hemming swam home that night pleasantly surprised. they had tried to make friends before, but never once did they find one that was willing to go to the abyss. they were certain that the moment the question of where they lived came up, they were bound to lose a friend again.

but not this time.

and so, as they swam home, their thoughts had a single cecaelia floating about. a single, magical cecaelia.

"hemming?" ah, they hadn't realized they were home already.

their brother stood above them, towering over them as he always did. his thin and frail-looking tentacles floated beneath him, dragging across the endless floor of black. their hair fell in front of their face in long strands, framing their frail face.

"what's got your head in the seas today?" his brother asked quietly.

"oh, nothing." hemming grinned. "i just... made a really good friend."

hiiiii!!! sorry it took me a bit before my brain got less mushy and i could string coherent sentences together! i'm still very much sick though so excuse me if i ramble a bit too much lol.

okay so these two live in my brain rent free now. it started off more as a challenge? or something to be like wooo controversy, and like. how can i make this work. but even though it started that way i never intended it to be like, badly done. from the get-go i put a lot of thought into it and wanted to actually make the story as high-quality as i could in terms of character development, their relationship and all the technical aspects (you know as you are one of the betas haha, and you know how many times i tweaked things, proofread, and how many times zephyr and i went through it). like i wanted to develop it as much as one can reasonably do in 14 chapters without getting sidetracked. and that was supposed to be the gimmick, like oh some ppl are gonna think it's controversial but it is actually well done and they might still be inclined to read it if they just bothered to try! (like a naive lil disney princess i forgot this is the internet lol)

the more i got into the story, the more i adored these two and their dynamic, or rather the dynamic i created for them. i think they just work, or more like, i've made them work. ppl have accused me of being a pedophile multiple times in the last couple of weeks while i've been posting the story lol, and asked me if i ship them in the show now, which is imo just fucking ridiculous. this is a separate universe that builds on what we had, or rather should have had, in the show, a story about two grown women who are both very odd in different ways and have found love and belonging with each other. i think neither of them could do a conventional relationship in my universe, and so this makes perfect sense for them!

i love writing larissa as a poor lil meow meow. there is just something about a pathetic, lonely middle aged woman that makes my brain go brrrrrrr. and wednesday is just a delight to write. i love channeling her voice. i used to be a lot like wednesday as a teen lol, that's sorta how i talked (i had no friends lol), so channeling her is a fun blast from the past and feels very natural to write.

it was a joy to write tbh! and personally, i don't think it's like.... even that out there or particularly (hehe) controversial? it's very much a coming of age rom-com sort of thing, but make it like... Quirky and include some dark humour. the outraged reactions i got to it honestly made me wanna write actually controversial stuff lol. i tend to want to spite the haters :)) and prove my point that fiction is fiction. i am very annoyed by the whole puritan internet culture, it really fucking irks me, esp when it's enforced by the self-proclaimed weirdos and goths and whatnot, who don't know what pedophilia even is lol nor could recognise it in fiction or real life. i know i won't get my point across to people who have already made up their mind about me being the actual pedophilic devil, but i will sure have my fun! i can't wait to challenge myself again! :))

also "particular" really inspired me to write longer works!! and i learned that i am most comfortable with that sort of format. all the things i am planning in the future are multi-chapter fics and rather long! and how i prefer to do it now is to write it all in advance and then post -- that way i know i won't lose interest midway haha. i am motivated by that sweet dopamine of wanting to share my work!

so yeah, i met some lovely people bc of this story (looking at you @the-frankenman-writes, actual gem and joy and delight), i strengthened some friendships, and i think it definitely made an impact on people! i grew a lot as a writer and it pushed me to refine my skills! so all in all, i'm very happy <3

Another casual Movie Review!

Hello again, we got one of my main sources to my love for animated movies/shows today, Disney!

And we got their new movie, Wish!

First off, !!🟥SPOILERS🟥!!

I watched this at home and it released in Cinema so I can't count reviewing the animation because I only got the low quality cinema vid for now. Still tho, animations are great, so ye, I'm sure it gud UvU

But we're talking more about the story, characters, and other perks!

In my first watch, I was pretty chill, entertained, and unbothered... in most cases. Honestly, I was only feeling unbothered sometimes because of the expectations of people's critics all over Wish

In my second watch tho, I was pretty bored, yet still enjoyed it somehow, but anyway–

I give the movie ALONE a 7/10

The characters are great, the songs are gud to listen to while watching (This Wish is on loop in my head tho, that one's catchy), the comedy is gud too, story is gud too!

Yeah, guys! The movie is actually not bad!

...It's just not jaw dropping that is, y'know?

The movie is a little generic but also not??? I dunno

It kept me entertained, it's a gud movie for funzies, and it's especially not that triggering at least to me, it's just not that rewatchable y'know? Also had some trouble remembering some of the characters' names even

LIKE BRO! This is the ONLY part I'm triggered by the movie honestly, because it's MISSED potential! This potential didn't come from the movie itself, no! It's from the dumps!

So! Adventure is Nigh Season 3 just wrapped up! And Nick said before the show that it will be late Fall before we get any new episodes 😭😭😭 Let's talk about the finale.

Incredible that the entire party managed to dodge the robot army thing and Chezzeric's attempt at a coup. I hope I'm not misremembering anything, but given that the robots are powered by the souls of the dead, it seems possible that whoever was in on the plot to steal the magic scroll all the way back in the pilot might have been the ones trying to resurrect the robot army? Again, if I'm remembering it right, that scroll summoned lots of ghosts, which probably could have been used to power all those robots.

Mortimer was able to get his revenge in some way by killing B's son and watching her kill her sister, which so far, he seems satisfied by. Ngl I was so sure he was gonna try to sneak-attack the queen when he knelt down by her side - but he didn't. He continues to threaten Grinderbin and be extremely secretive about his identity, which means that there's definitely more to him than just being a changeling. It also doesn't explain why Mortimer is so careful about his identity while Musk doesn't care if anyone knows. Curious!

Dabarella was an absolute menace this episode. She dealt with Kalandra, spared her from dying long enough for Queen B to deal the finishing blow, and summoned a god (technically, two gods!) She seems like she's getting teed up to be very important for the next season, too, being part of the negotiation team between the flora and fauna folk. She's perfect for the job :3 but there's a lot to talk about how the party moves through the world. They heightened the tension between the flora and fauna folk, and they have now assassinated a prince. They've been keeping their tracks covered so far, but they are extremely disruptive and often leave places worse off for their presence than better. They consider themselves heroes, but there's only so much they can do before their chaos catches up. They've just left an entire army full of robots to fill with dead souls below the castle, and destroyed B's necklace, which could lead to quite a lot of trouble down the line.

Grinderbin did so much - his arcana check was vital for deciphering the purpose of the robots. He also held Mortimer back from becoming the king of a robot army lol. He continues to reject his noble heritage, and has completely rejected 'schmoozing and lying'. His quick thinking with the statue defeated Latavia before he could cast more than a single spell, and he had the idea to not switch clothes back with Mortimer once they had finished their deception. Just wrapping an arm around Mortimer when he was being threatened was just adorable - he trusts Mortimer completely, despite everything he's seen. But if it comes down to Mortimer, or Dabarella and Sigmar, I wonder who he'd chose? Um. Also. Flora folk are made of other people's souls?????? WHAT???? WAS GRINDERBIN SOMEONE ELSE BEFORE???

Sigmar absolutely fucking tanked so many hits. Without him, they would not have made it through the Kalandra fight. His bone'n'marrow is incredibly cool, tbh, even if it is a bit of a pain to use. He also got to use his spell-stealing gauntlet at last, wooo! Seeing Eggelier just snap and completely bash him across the face was pretty funny lol, after everything they put her through, though, she deserved to get a hit in. Sigmar's first instinct being to destroy the machine was, honestly, the kind of call that I would have made. It looks complicated, looks dangerous, and they're absolutely gonna be dealing with the consequences of this one for a while yet.

Everyone played their characters so well and the final battle was absolutely incredible. This is literally the funnest show I've watched in a long time, I was glued to my seat and barely felt the time passing. Everything about this was worth the wait and I'm so happy we have new episodes now. I can't wait for everything to get re-released and to have all the episodes to watch from start to end. I'm excited for season 4, wooo!

extremely curious what's ya stance on strixxie and striker himself nowadays!

Woooo boy! Well I've written an over 130.000 words fanfic on Strixxie and a sequel on the works plus a couple of smaller ones on the side so you can safely say I'm still very much OBSESSED with the pair!😍

I love all of the nemesis tropes they have in canon! Their antagonistic chemistry is top notch and I stan all flavors of enemies to lovers that have the potential to come with it! I love the mutual canon animosity and constantly challenging each other vibes that I can be delulu with and interpret as thick sexual tension!

Some darker problematic stuff is honestly still a big part of the appeal to me as much as mushy stuff could be depending on execution and aaaaaah I just adore ships that can have such range!

Plus it gives me stuff to grab onto in canon like Striker fucking drooling in their last encounter like hello???? And also of course Moxxie being a little badass and pulling that glorious uno reverse on him that had me weak fahscahfagafavavsfksfs!😫💞

As far as Striker goes he's still my fave character! But I do think the harvest moon festival had him at his peak and some elements got a bit messed up with Western Energy. They didn't completely ruin him tho. The only parts I couldn't stand were some jokes I thought really didn't work for him like that god-awful statue and a couple of random outbursts of anger I found ooc.

If they kept those away along with the questionable decision of having Stella call him off for that reason and him revealing all his cards as an assassin so publicly prior, honestly the rest I don't mind at all. The entire Stolas torture scene in a vacuum is absolutely flawless, along with the fight with M&M. Those were some good shit. Especially with Moxxie hehe😏 I really loved how they showed much of Striker's character via that fight, like being cunning and badass and reveling on the challenge. Very fun villain stuff to see!

And I enjoyed him in Oops even if the plot to bring him there was contrived. He was handled a lot better I think. Again excluding some questionable logic like why would Fizzarolli's performance ever distract everyone like that. But eh comedy is subjective and all.

Speaking of which I really hope the team up with Crimson wasn't an one off thing cause wooo boy is that plot point fascinating!!

Both of Moxxie's majorly thematically villains teaming up is just ripe for juicy drama. I am wishing for a follow up on that so badly!!!!

So yeah overall still love Striker a lot while choosing to ignore some elements of his character that the writers added and that annoyed me and that's the tea. Well that's my general experience with hellaverse in general anyways. Along with the pacing that messes some stuff up.

I can't wait to see him again! And more Strixxie scenes too!

Yashahime Second Act New PV

Yashahime Second Act, has a new mini PV and I think they are only showing some tiny clips from episodes 1 to 2 or 3.

Here we have Towa welding her new blade, Zanseiken. The design is extremely unique and beautiful, I love the details for the hilt. I think this blade really suits Towa's character but I also love her knock off of the Kikujūmonji because she literally made that into a sword of her own by using demon energy. I wonder if Towa's Zanseiken will have more abilities than her other blade. She seems to be looking at it curiously and uneasy, could this be the first scene of her putting it into use? I believe she's going to do more extraordinary things using this one.

This scene here seems to be a spirit of Kirinmaru, it reminds me of the battle scene of Episode 24 between Kirinmaru versing Towa and Moroha. They both had spirits above them, for Towa it was Sesshomaru's demon dog form and for Moroha it was the great dog demon general Inu no Taisho aka Toga. This is an interesting one too because not only we seen this form of Kirinmaru in this scene but also in the Second Acts poster, he is in the middle and standing in front of the windmill of time, so this is not the first time seeing this form of his and I do wonder what this is indicating... The second image down below, we see Kirinmaru's face up close and it is only showing one eye along with two scars on his cheek, both done by Towa and Setsuna. Is he reflecting from the battle with the 3 princesses? Thinking about how he accidentally killed Sesshomaru's and Rin's daughter, Setsuna out of anger after she landed a cut on his cheek? His past? His battle with Toga? or his beloved daughter, Rion? There's still so much we need to discover about their relationship and how did it become such a conflict to drive the two away from each other.

Riku? Riku?! What is this all about? Is this... demons in the shadows? Are you planning an attack on someone? Or is he going to strike these hidden creatures? He does have his blade out, and if I'm not mistaken, it kinda looks like his new earring accessory, that's intriguing. He really looks great in his new attire and I can see his sleeves are not torn anymore like his first attire was shown. I think this upcoming episode could be The Demon Ghost Of The Ocean, it just gives off a vibe this could be the episode but it's only a guess. Riku looks quite serious in this, I don't see any smirking from him than usual so what could this situation be about?

I about screamed when I seen this, I'm so happy to see Sesshomaru again, Ah-Un and the rest as well. Lol, look at poor Jaken holding onto the end of Sesshomaru's Mokomoko. And yes, there are so many theories flowing around about this scenes situation. We haven't seen Sesshomaru ride Ah-Un in awhile... Normally when he rides him it is to make a great entrance but this is looking more like an emergency because...

We see that Sesshomaru is holding Rin! We finally get our first Sessrin scene! Wooo! Yes! Sweet Mokomoko! I love how he's holding his wife so tenderly, not only that he is also steering Ah-Un while holding her, you can see the dark brown strap between Sesshomaru's hands and thumb. But what the heck happened to Rin... Zero tied her? Is she truly in labor? Someone is either having a flashback or telling the story to the twins or someone else. Now, I have some backup for the Rin is in labor theory that is by other fans and I have one of my own so I hope there's some people that are thinking the same on it as well but first the labor theory.

It is extremely rare for Sesshomaru to be flying Ah-Un, especially when he can fly himself without an issue and he's always been strong enough to carry Rin. Why does he need Ah-Un to fly with Rin? And the theory is, Sesshomaru is using Ah-Un to travel safely with Rin Lady Kaede's because she is in labor. In the image we can definitely see there is some discomfort in Rin's expression, possibly labor pains and her hand is resting on her stomach but we see no pregnant belly because it is only viewing half of Rin's body which is probably the reason why we cannot see the baby bump on her but also remember this... in episode 15 between a conversation with Sango and Kagome, Sango's dialogue "How are you feeling Kagome? You're far along now, I can't wait." Kagome's dialogue "Thanks Sango! I feel fine, you can barely see my bump." And with that Sango agreed. It even shows Kagome holding her stomach when Riku tells Kagome Kirinmaru will kill her child as well if Kirinmaru's slumber has been disturbed because he hates humans and hanyos.

In a panic and fear, Kagome places her hands on her stomach, and we can barely see her bump like Sango said, so Rin's baby bump was possibly like Kagome's while she was in labor with Towa and Setsuna.

Here's my theory of what possibly happened that caused this scene with Sesshomaru carrying Rin while flying on Ah-Un. And Nooope, not believing that Zero tied herself to Rin on this night, she may had tried to but failed at it and here's how. Zero may had tried another type of spell to tie Rin to her soul and in the spell process before she could finish, Sesshomaru interrupted her and saved Rin but a small portion of Zero's spell took over her and somehow Sesshomaru managed to break it (Possibly from cutting that green dream butterfly) and Rin fainted afterwards due to her energy being drained from Zero's spell or Zero may had wounded Rin and Sesshomaru is using Ah-Un to carefully fly her to the barrier so he and Jaken can patch her up there while with the twins. Also, we need to remember Episode 23, here's a small reminder. When Zero tied herself to Towa, Towa did not pass out when she was first tied, she was only used as a puppet for Zero to control and she used Towa to hold Setsuna and her weapon still while Zero came over to break the seal that Miroku placed on her. After she was finished with Towa, she let her go and that's when Towa fainted but it was only for a brief moment, so that's why I don't think Zero already tied Rin in that new clip and she may wake up. I still believe she was with the twins when the forest fire happened and that's when Zero finally tied Rin's soul to hers fully. I have more about this theory why Rin was in the forest with the twins but I'll save that for another blog. (｡･ω･｡)ﾉ♡

How did Zero get those rainbow pearls again?! I know she confirmed she can easily find them but this fast? And what will she use them for this time? Is she going to use them to kill the Towa, Setsuna and Moroha? This woman is a nightmare. (つ﹏<。) I really don't want to know what's her next plan.

I finished it....currently sobbing very loudly 🥲👍

I have no clue where I should start, probably by saying I got the episodes mixed up, I thought it finished on episode 138, not 136 so I wasn't prepared for the sudden death of Pouf (ngl, I actually felt pretty bad for him) and then the whole scene with Palm and Meruem when he was like "I'm gonna die soon and I want to spent my final moments with Komugi." That whole scene had me sobbing as well, all of that happened in the last episode so I spent about 3/4 of it crying very loudly, and to think the episode before that I was screaming at Welfin through my t.v to mention Komugi, then crying at the end of that scene too.

All in all, the 4 episodes I watched were really fucking sad, like my god, this is probably the most and longest time I've cried in one go from a show and as I guessed, I do feel empty and marginally pissed off since the end of 136 went from absolutely depressing, to overly cheerful music with Gon talking happily, like dude, don't mock me like that.

I can't really think of too much to say at the moment, so if you're wanting my full thoughts, you'll probably have to wait until I finish the series, or until I calm down a bit 👍
