pjo prompt: percy and jason have to go on a quest together, so they both decide to bring their respective partners (annabeth and leo). during the quest, they get kidnapped by monsters and percy and jason wake up in an arena. the monsters explain that they have their partners and in order to save them, they have to fight to the death, with the winner getting to leave alive with their partner, while the other is killed. however, the monsters are very shocked when percy and jason sit down and start calmly playing cards with each other. they’re not worried about their partners. instead, they’re worried for the monsters. they trapped annabeth and leo together, two of the smartest demigods. the girl who redesigned olympus and the boy who built a warship in six months. they were toast.

Out of curiosity, if you were to have wings (either substitute your own arms or attached to your back) would you prefer feathers or skin? Realistically speaking*

Both appeal to me in different ways but they have their cons and pros, imo:

*Feathers wings would be comfy and warm in winter but they'll have to eventually shed and that could be a bother. Not to mention the acarus they can get...

If they get wet it'll be difficult to fly, plus they'll get heavier, until they dry. The feathers are attached to blood vessels and if they get cut too close to the end you could bleed out (unless you take off the remaining part of the cut out feather, letting the skin close).

*Skin wings could (kind of) still be used as arms and you could climb with them too (thanks to the thumb and claw). They are extensions of skin which means there are nerves and blood vessels, and if the skin rips, besides hurting, you'll probably won't be able to fly again, or at least you'll have difficulties to fly.

If the skin is also attached to the side of your body it could difficult movement.

(I think there would be also some sensory issues attached to having skin wings. Idk maybe it's just me...)

Cause Dick, if some people don't know, has a dog he saved from some punks and it has three legs and named her Haley (aka Bitewing).

He meets Danny (or Jazz whose in college or working in Bludhaven. Not picky with who) because Haley and Cujo saw each other and wanted to play and Cujo being Cujo encouraged chaos and got them tangled up.

Dick says a pun over that either Danny shoots one back or if Jazz she rolls her eyes but is smiling before responding with her own (because she's used to Danny and his puns)

Dick is beaming cause his pun was accepted.

I think we give Batman the wrong credit for Nightwing's no-killing rule. I've seen others say that his no-killing policy comes from Bruce, but more accurate would be to say that the fear of breaking that rule comes from Bruce while the morals already existed within Dick Grayson.

Goose!

Mini comic thing- kinda- (it’s kinda bad, I did my best though!)

Context-

Hallow, after dealing with a load of insults and degrading from Lunar, decides to hide away for a bit and cry. He is eventually interrupted by a ‘Honk’. He looks over confused only to see a goose watching him. Instead of attacking him like he thought it would, it sits next to him and keeps him company.

The goose listened to him and never once left him, if he moved the goose followed. It didn’t even complain when he picked it up!

Eventually, despite the fact he knew it wouldn’t probably respond, he asked if it wanted to be friends. To his shock and delight it nodded, and happily honked at him. Somehow, after they were confirmed friends, Hallow could fully understand Goose. He think that it’s because they are friends now- the Goose knows the real reason-

It tends to show up at random and nothing can stop it. Puppet is 90% sure the Goose is either magic- or from another dimension. Because how the heck does this goose get everywhere without being spotted? Also they have seen Hallow have full conversation with this goose- whilst all they hear are honks- like honestly- what the heck?

At least Hallow seems to be safe around Goose…
