hii! i absolutely love your work. i've been getting into trying to make borders myself, and i was wondering if you had any tips on where to find good pngs or do you create everything yourself? i feel like my luck so far hasn't been great but maybe i just don't know how to search for it correctly!
Hello, nonnie! I'm so glad you enjoy my work; thank you for your kind words. ( ˶ˆᗜˆ˵ ) And oh my gosh, it's so nice to see a new GFX creator in the making! One of us, one of us, one us. ~ Welcome to the wonderful world of editing, hehe!
I've compiled a list of websites that I use for my graphics, but please do let me know if you need anything else and I'll be happy to assist!
For general assets, as well as inspiration, I generally use these websites: behance (which is pretty much the industry standard when it comes to graphic design in general, they have cool studios or experienced designers that post their works and/or assets), booth (an independent japanese resources hub with many free and paid assets), huanban (an independent chinese resources hub, same proposal as booth), abdz (mostly focused on typography and branding), dribble (more focused on web applications and design) and envato (templates).
Since I'm colourblind, I'm not always confident about how to compose colours together. So whenever I'm in doubt, I use coolors (to get palettes from images and browse through palette ideas) and colorhunt (which gives ideas for palette themes and motifs).
I love typography a whole bunch, but sometimes it's hard to find that one right font for your project. Whenever I need to look for something else, I always run to these websites: google fonts (when I'm on a budget and want to use 100% free fonts, including for commercial use), 1001fonts (to quickly find fonts based on themes, it has a great tag system), dafont (a big classic huge dabatase of custom fonts), befonts (for more industry standard-leaning fonts) and kerismaker (for those magazine looks). When I want to identify a font used on an image and where I can download/purchase it, I use myfonts and font squirrel. They even give you similar options for free, too!
Suppose I'm specifically searching for illustrations/PNGs I can use on my upcoming project. In that case, I'll either go to flat icons (for websites, applications or presentations), vertex (for 3d icons and/or general vectors), graphic burger (for logo making), cleanpng (for I want a tree PNG and do not want to clean it myself, for example), pngtree (same idea as the previous one, you just search for a word and will see all PNGs related to it) and pngall (self explanatory).
Regarding backgrounds, textures, and photography in general, I rely on websites like pixabay, vecteezy, 3d ocean, morguefile, freepik and isorepublic. They have high-quality photos and videos that you can use on your projects. However, if I specifically need mockups or patterns, I turn to unblast, pacage and ava.
Besides those, you can always search for things on Deviantart and Twitter! Though I do not use those much, I think Instagram and Threads also have pages dedicated to sharing resources. Discord can be a nice place to search for graphic design servers, too.
However, if I cannot find specific resources for a commission/project for whatever reason, then I will make them myself. Be it through photography, drawing or anything else I can get my little hands on.
For the more technical/applications side, the programs I use for my graphics and edits are Adobe PhotoShop 2020, Adobe After Effects 2020, Adobe Illustrator 2020, Clip Studio Paint (for when I need to draw or polish something for specific projects/commissions), and HandBrake (for when I need to make screencaps). My drawing tablet is an oldie, Wacom One.
Hopefully, this can be a nice starting point for you! Please feel free to reblog and/or like this post if you'd like to save it for whatever purpose. ~ I hope you enjoy this journey ahead, and if you need anything else, let me know! You got this! ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧

TRAUM process
or how I bring these heckin comics in front of your eyeballs. some folks seem to be under the mistaken impression that I draw comics every day and then upload them, which isn't the case at all! I draw them one chapter at a time and then schedule the uploads.
more detailed breakdown under the cut.
1: thumbnails.
the Comic Book Thumbnail Template by BrianAtkins is one I use, the guidelines on the edges are very helpful.
I make thumbnails one chapter a time, each seems to have gotten longer and longer over time. at times I find pacing issues and add extra pages or don't like the direction the story is taking which is when I scrap the thumbnails I've done. this is basically also the stage where the story evolves since I only have a rough idea of what I want to do as well as ideas I've jotted down, no scripts or anything.
2: comic file.
the comic page template has a lot of helpful features. I don't know if Clip Studio Paint Pro has these features, but EX certainly does, and it's very practical with maintaining a certain workflow, being able to view all the pages in a file and jump between them with ease.
3: work on the pages. lol
I blow up the thumbnails to double as sketches, unless whatever I intend to draw is more complex, in which case I make a separate sketch. next, I add panels.
I add text + draw speech bubbles around the text.
inks.
grey tones to add more definition, background details, shadows, etc.
and when I'm done with all the pages in a chapter (Chapter 3 has 96 pages total, phew), and formatting individual pages for web, I proceed to...
4: upload the pages.
I upload all the pages on ComicFury and then schedule them to upload on specific dates. the updates are automated, but I manually share said updates on social media sites.
5: time for a break.
I take a break from working on comics for a month or two to recover. I know after I finished and uploaded chapter 4 I felt super burned out. but I'm already eager to continue working on more comics! I'll just have to see after this break. after Traum story 1 concludes I'm pretty sure there won't be anymore comics until January, but it's possible I'll eat my words.
so yeah!
Questions nobody asked but I'm answering anyway:
Why two pages a day?
idk. I felt that since the pages have 3+ panels on average, just one page a day would feel a little too dripfeed-y.
Why not release the whole thing at once?
I like maintaining intrigue! plus, I like having something to look forward to as well! I schedule the pages to be at 9:30 in the morning specifically for my sake, originally the pages came out at midnight sharp which didn't do much good for my sleep schedule.
I'm going to be demanding over a comic I can read on the internet for free.
please don't.
also slightly edited version on comicfury.

What Is The Difference Between Web Development & Web Design?
In today’s world, we experience the growing popularity of eCommerce businesses. Web designing and web development are two major sectors for making a difference in eCommerce businesses. But they work together for publishing a website successfully. But what’s the difference between a web designers in Dubai and a web developer?
Directly speaking, web designers design and developers code. But this is a simplified answer. Knowing these two things superficially will not clear your doubt but increase them. Let us delve deep into the concepts, roles and differentiation between web development and website design Abu Dhabi.

What Is Meant By Web Design?
A web design encompasses everything within the oeuvre of a website’s visual aesthetics and utility. This might include colour, theme, layout, scheme, the flow of information and anything related to the visual features that can impact the website user experience.
With the word web design, you can expect all the exterior decorations, including images and layout that one can view on their mobile or laptop screen. This doesn’t concern anything with the hidden mechanism beneath the attractive surface of a website. Some web design tools used by web designers in Dubai which differentiate themselves from web development are as follows:
● Graphic design
● UI designs
● Logo design
● Layout
● Topography
● UX design
● Wireframes and storyboards
● Colour palettes
And anything that can potentially escalate the website’s visual aesthetics. Creating an unparalleled yet straightforward website design Abu Dhabi can fetch you more conversion rates. It can also gift you brand loyalty which is the key to a successful eCommerce business.
What Is Meant By Web Development?
While web design concerns itself with all a website’s visual and exterior factors, web development focuses on the interior and the code. Web developers’ task is to govern all the codes that make a website work. The entire web development programme can be divided into two categories: front and back.
The front end deals with the code determining how the website will show the designs mocked by a designer. While the back end deals entirely with managing the data within the database. Along with it forwarding the data to the front end for display. Some web development tools used by a website design company in Dubai are:
● Javascript/HTML/CSS Preprocessors
● Template design for web
● GitHub and Git
● On-site search engine optimisation
● Frameworks as in Ember, ReactJS or Angular JS
● Programming languages on the server side, including PHP, Python, Java, C#
● Web development frameworks on the server side, including Ruby on Rails, Symfony, .NET
● Database management systems including MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL
Web Designers vs. Web Developers- Differences
You must have become acquainted with the idea of how id web design is different from web development. Some significant points will highlight the job differentiation between web developers and designers.
Generally, Coding Is Not A Cup Of Tea For Web Designers:
Don’t ever ask any web designers in Dubai about their coding knowledge. They merely know anything about coding. All they are concerned about is escalating a website’s visual aspects, making them more eyes catchy.
For this, they might use a visual editor like photoshop to develop images or animation tools and an app prototyping tool such as InVision Studio for designing layouts for the website. And all of these don’t require any coding knowledge.
Web Developers Do Not Work On Visual Assets:
Web developers add functionality to a website with their coding skills. This includes the translation of the designer’s mockups and wireframes into code using Javascript, HTML or CSS. While visual assets are entirely created by designers, developer use codes to implement those colour schemes, fonts and layouts into the web page.
Hiring A Web Developer Is Expensive:
Web developers are more expensive to hire simply because of the demand and supply ratio. Web designers are readily available as their job is much simpler. Their job doesn’t require the learning of coding. Coding is undoubtedly a highly sought-after skill that everyone can’t entertain.
Final Thoughts:
So if you look forward to creating a website, you might become confused. This is because you don’t know whether to opt for a web designer or a developer. Well, to create a website, technically, both are required. So you need to search for a website design company that will offer both services and ensure healthy growth for your business.

Web to Mobile: Building Seamless Apps with .NET"
.NET is a effective, flexible, and open-supply developer platform created with the aid of Microsoft. It enables the creation of a huge range of applications—from computing device to cellular, net, cloud, gaming, and IoT. Over the years, .NET has evolved substantially and has become one of the maximum extensively used frameworks inside the software improvement enterprise.
Dot Net Programming Language

A Brief History of .NET
The .NET Framework become first delivered through Microsoft in the early 2000s. The original cause turned into to offer a steady item-oriented programming surroundings regardless of whether code became stored and finished locally, remotely, or via the internet.
Over time, Microsoft developed .NET right into a cross-platform, open-supply framework. In 2016, Microsoft launched .NET Core, a modular, high-performance, cross-platform implementation of .NET. In 2020, the company unified all its .NET technologies beneath one umbrella with the discharge of .NET five, and later persisted with .NET 6, .NET 7, and past.
Today, the unified platform is actually called .NET, and it allows builders to build apps for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, and greater using a single codebase.
Key Features of .NET
1. Cross-Platform Development
One of the maximum tremendous features of present day .NET (publish .NET Core) is its ability to run on a couple of platforms. Developers can construct and deploy apps on Windows, Linux, and macOS with out enhancing their codebases.
2. Multiple Language Support
.NET supports numerous programming languages, together with:
C# – the maximum extensively used language in .NET development
F# – a purposeful-first programming language
Visual Basic – an smooth-to-analyze language, regularly used in legacy programs
This multilingual capability allows developers to pick out the nice language for their precise use cases.
3. Extensive Library and Framework Support
.NET offers a comprehensive base magnificence library (BCL) and framework libraries that aid the whole lot from record studying/writing to XML manipulation, statistics get entry to, cryptography, and extra.
Four. ASP.NET for Web Development
ASP.NET is a part of the .NET platform specially designed for net improvement. ASP.NET Core, the cross-platform model, permits builders to build scalable internet APIs, dynamic web sites, and actual-time packages the usage of technology like SignalR.
5. Rich Development Environment
.NET integrates seamlessly with Visual Studio, one of the most function-wealthy integrated development environments (IDEs) available. Visual Studio offers capabilities together with IntelliSense, debugging tools, challenge templates, and code refactoring.
6. Performance and Scalability
.NET is thought for high performance and scalability, especially with its guide for asynchronous programming using async/wait for and its Just-In-Time (JIT) compilation.
7. Secure and Reliable
.NET presents sturdy safety features, including code get entry to security, role-based protection, and cryptography training. It also handles reminiscence management thru rubbish series, minimizing reminiscence leaks.
Common Applications Built with .NET
1. Web Applications
With ASP.NET Core, builders can create cutting-edge, scalable internet programs and RESTful APIs. Razor Pages and Blazor are technology within ASP.NET Core that help server-facet and purchaser-facet rendering.
2. Desktop Applications
Using Windows Forms or Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), builders can build conventional computing device applications. .NET MAUI (Multi-platform App UI) now extends this functionality to move-platform computer and cellular programs.
3. Mobile Applications
Through Xamarin (now incorporated into .NET MAUI), developers can create native mobile applications for Android and iOS the usage of C#.
4. Cloud-Based Applications
.NET is nicely-acceptable for cloud development, in particular with Microsoft Azure. Developers can build cloud-local apps, serverless capabilities, and containerized microservices the usage of Docker and Kubernetes.
5. IoT Applications
.NET helps Internet of Things (IoT) development, allowing builders to construct applications that engage with sensors and gadgets.
6. Games
With the Unity sport engine, which helps C#, developers can use .NET languages to create 2D, three-D, AR, and VR games.
Components of .NET
1. .NET SDK
The Software Development Kit includes everything had to build and run .NET packages: compilers, libraries, and command-line tools.
2. CLR (Common Language Runtime)
It handles reminiscence control, exception managing, and rubbish collection.
Three. BCL (Base Class Library)
The BCL offers center functionalities including collections, record I/O, records kinds, and extra.
4. NuGet
NuGet is the package manager for .NET. It lets in builders to install, manage, and share libraries without problems.
Modern .NET Versions
.NET five (2020): Unified the .NET platform (Core + Framework)
.NET 7 (2022): Further overall performance enhancements and more desirable APIs
.NET 8 (2023): Continued attention on cloud-native, cellular, and web improvement
Advantages of Using .NET
Cross-platform assist – construct as soon as, run everywhere
Large developer network – widespread sources, libraries, and frameworks
Robust tooling – especially with Visual Studio and JetBrains Rider
Active improvement – backed by using Microsoft and open-source community
Challenges and Considerations
Learning curve – particularly for beginners due to its giant atmosphere
Legacy framework – older .NET Framework tasks aren't like minded with .NET Core or more recent variations without migration
Platform differences – sure APIs or libraries might also behave in a different way throughout operating systems
Getting Started with .NET
To begin growing with .NET:
Install the .NET SDK from the legitimate .NET internet site.
Create a new project: Use the dotnet new command or Visual Studio templates.
Write code: Develop your logic the usage of C#, F#, or VB.NET.

August Artist Blog (more under the cut)
For August I tried to make a vlog, not only to document my month making art, but also my attempts to overhaul my approach to making and sell art. However, I’m not experienced at making vlogs, nor do I have a quiet, dedicated space to record voiceovers. But I did post a video of me doing marker work. We’ll get to that in a bit.
Introduction

First off, in case you’re new here, my name’s Antonio Tyler. I’m a webcomic creator and illustrator. I’ve been making art most my life, but started drawing comics in 2003 with my first webcomic, Synaptic Misfiring.
I drew variations of Synaptic Misfiring for a few years, got married, had kids, worked two jobs (because California). Over the last 5 years, though, I’ve been focusing more on illustration and selling products, though o want to get back into webcomics. I did a 3 episode Webtoon called Only Human, but I haven’t done a comic in a few years now.
Mobile Studio Setup
I don’t have a dedicated studio. I know a lot of artists do. But it’s not impossible to have a setup that is portable.

I use a 4th generation iPad Air with 64GB and a 2nd generation Apple Pencil. I use IbisPaint X, and use the paid version. I find it’s most ideal for making comics. And it’s constantly updated. New features are added all the time.
I have an assortment of tonal markers by Tombow, and a couple of Copics.
I always carry my iPad with me, so I can work on sketches or finished art whenever or wherever. You can access IbisPaint’s cloud storage via internet if needed, but it also stores files locally. It’s great being able to draw on a lunch break, a bus ride, or at the library. Occasionally I carry a sketchbook and pens with me if I intend to do traditional art.
Rethinking websites and storefronts
A couple months back I looked into doing a website on a number of platforms, such as Wix, Squarespace, etc. While a lot of them are pretty affordable, and have good options, I don’t really use my website much. It’s mostly a hub for all my other sites and profiles.
Tumblr, having been purchased by the Wordpress folks awhile back, is really pushing itself as a website alternative, with their templates (which they always have had) and having direct sales of web address. I’m in the process of updating AntonioTyler.com while also keeping the functionality of a Tumblr page. Tumblr is notorious less functional as a mobile site or app. So choosing the right template has been a challenge.
One thing is making a Linktree/Beacons/Milkshake-style link page instead of just a text based link page. Including links to all my different store fronts.
Updating my storefronts happens to be another thing on my to do list. I have several, and they are all decentralized. I use several: Ko-fi, Threadless, INPRNT and BigCartel. Originally I was going to use BigCartel for my sole storefront, but issues with getting Stripe to work dampened those plans. And BigCartel was mostly for my international customers, since it uses Printful products. But since there was a less than enthusiastic response, I will keep all my storefronts, but make them specialty shops. Threadless will have the bulk of my products, BigCartel will be a seasonal exclusive shop, INPRNT will be my…prints, and Ko-fi will be my digital shop (though I’m toying with the idea of carrying my Printful items here).
September plans
Working on some new Wand-Slinger merch for the seasonal shop. Threadless will be getting an overhaul. The website will be wrapped up and relaunched.

React also has a large ecosystem of supporting tools, libraries, and community resources, making it a top choice for front-end development in 2023.
Vue.js:
Vue.js is another powerful JavaScript framework for building user interfaces. Known for its simplicity and ease of integration, Vue.js offers a flexible and scalable approach to front-end development. Vue.js follows a component-based architecture similar to React, making it highly modular and easy to understand.

Performance Optimization Tools:
As web applications become more complex, optimizing performance has become a crucial aspect of front-end development. Tools like Lighthouse, Webpage Test, and Google Page Speed Insights help developers analyze and optimize the performance of their web applications.
These tools offer insights and recommendations for improving areas like load times, caching, image optimization, and accessibility, helping developers create blazing-fast and user-friendly web applications in 2023.
jQuery:
jQuery is a widely used JavaScript library that has been a popular front-end development tool for many years. It provides a simplified way to interact with HTML documents, manipulate DOM elements, handle events, and make AJAX requests. jQuery offers a concise syntax and cross-browser compatibility, making it easy for developers to write efficient and interactive front-end code.
One of the key advantages of using jQuery is its simplicity and ease of use. It provides a concise and intuitive syntax that allows developers to perform common tasks, such as traversing the DOM, manipulating elements, and handling events, with just a few lines of code. This can significantly reduce the amount of code needed and simplify the development process.
Git and Version Control Tools:
Version control is an essential aspect of modern front-end development, allowing developers to collaborate, track changes, and revert to previous versions of their code.
Git, along with platforms like GitHub and GitLab, offers powerful version control capabilities, making it easy to manage the codebase, collaborate with teammates, and deploy changes to production. These tools are expected to continue to be a critical part of front-end development workflows in 2023.

Why Janakpuri Businesses Trust Web Era Solutions for Graphic Design
In Janakpuri's vibrant commercial ecosystem – where family-run shops, bustling restaurants, and innovative startups compete for customer attention – graphic design has emerged as the silent salesman. From the moment a pedestrian glances at a café's menu board to the unboxing experience of a local product, visual storytelling drives decisions. Yet many businesses grapple with disjointed design approaches: freelance designers who vanish mid-project, multinational agencies charging premium rates for generic templates, or DIY efforts that fail to convert.
This is precisely why over 200 Janakpuri businesses – including established names like Gupta Electronics, Spice Trail Restaurant, and rising stars like UrbanFit Studio – have anchoredHere's a closer look at what makes them unique:
their visual identity with Web Era Solutions. After a decade serving West Delhi's unique market, their formula blends cultural fluency with commercial savvy
1. Cultural Architects: Designing for Janakpuri’s Soul
Web Era’s design team doesn’t just work in Janakpuri – they live and breathe its cultural rhythm. Their studio head, Vikram Sharma, conducts quarterly "market immersion walks" through D-Block Market and Janak Place to observe visual trends. This ethnographic approach informs designs that resonate locally while standing out globally.
Deep Dive Example: When redesigning Janakpuri Jewelers, they spent two weeks documenting wedding rituals in West Delhi homes. The resulting branding fused traditional meenakari patterns with minimalist luxury – increasing walk-in conversions by 40% during the wedding season. Their packaging even incorporated reusable fabric potlis, aligning with local sustainability values.
2. The ROI Blueprint: Where Aesthetics Meet Analytics
Unlike purely artistic studios, Web Era treats design as a measurable growth engine. Every project begins with a "Visual Audit":
Competitor design gap analysis
Customer psychographic profiling
Historical engagement metrics review
Data in Action: For FitLife Gym, their research revealed Janakpuri’s fitness enthusiasts responded best to geometric patterns and achievement-focused messaging. The rebrand (including gradient-based logo and milestone-tracking membership cards) increased sign-ups by 55% within a quarter. Monthly social media engagement tripled through their workout-progress infographics.
3. Omnichannel Mastery: One Partner, Every Canvas
Janakpuri businesses juggle physical and digital touchpoints. Web Era’s integrated approach ensures brand consistency across:
Physical: Billboards (strategically placed near Metro exits), foil-stamped menus, textile tags
Digital: Animated Instagram Reels, e-commerce UI optimizations, WhatsApp catalogues
Experiential: Event backdrops, exhibition stall designs, vehicle wraps
Unified Campaign Case: BakeMasters Café needed cohesive branding for their new cloud kitchen. Web Era developed:
Packaging with heat-sensitive color-changing logos
Bike delivery kits with GPS-tagged safety seals
Instagram AR filters letting users "decorate" virtual cakes
The result? 30% cost savings versus multiple vendors and 80% brand recall in customer surveys.
4. The Velocity Advantage: Speed Without Compromise
In Janakpuri’s fast-paced market, delayed designs mean lost opportunities. Web Era’s "Rapid Design Sprints" feature:
Dedicated client pods (designer + strategist + project manager)
48-hour initial concepts
6-hour revision windows for urgent requests
Cloud-based proofing portal for real-time feedback
When Delhi Dental Hub needed emergency campaign materials during a surprise festival, Web Era delivered 12 social creatives, clinic posters, and a digital brochure in 72 hours – capturing ₹3.2 lakhs in bookings.
5. Transparent Economics: Premium Design, Accessible Pricing
Web Era dismantles the "black box" agency pricing model with:
Modular Packages: Startup bundles from ₹5,000 (logo + 5 social posts)
Scale-Flex Options: Enterprise retainers with volume discounts
Zero Surprise Policy: All fees locked pre-project
Community Initiatives: 10% discount for women-led businesses
Their "Design ROI Calculator" even projects revenue impact – like showing Gupta Electronics how redesigned product catalogs could increase upsell revenue by 18%.
6. The Relationship Dividend: Partners, Not Vendors
Client after client cites Web Era’s "tireless collaboration" as the differentiator. Designer Arpita Mehta (Janakpuri native) explains: "We embed ourselves in your business. If your kitchen staff complains about menu readability, we’ll redesign it at 2 AM."
This ethos birthed their unique Brand Custodianship Program – offering unlimited minor tweaks for 3 months post-launch. Fashion Finesse Boutique used this to perfect their Diwali campaign visuals, resulting in 200+ IG shares.
The Proof: Janakpuri Success Chronicles
Case Study 1: Herbal Haven
Challenge: Ayurvedic products lost in crowded markets.
Solution: Packaging redesign using regional medicinal plant illustrations with braille labels.
Result: 65% reduction in customer confusion, 40% repeat purchase spike.
Case Study 2: Kids Kingdom Play School
Challenge: Low enrollment despite premium facilities.
Solution: Illustrated "Adventure Map" brochures + safety-infographic parents’ kits.
Result: 110% inquiry increase, 35 faster enrollment decisions.
Case Study 3: Décor Studio Delhi
Challenge: Website underperforming.
Solution: UI/UX overhaul with "Room Visualizer" tool + AR catalog.
Result: 70% online sales surge, 50% fewer cart abandonments.
Voices from the Community

– Rajesh, Chaat Magic
"They redesigned our billboard near Dwarka Mor – our mechanic bookings increased 60% from commuter traffic."
