On a semi related note the more I am subjected to Microsoft products the more I become convinced that the reason so many people these days believe themselves to be “bad with computers” is that the programs they are forced to use in their professional life are utterly incomprehensible to ANY rational human being and they are (rightfully enough) extrapolating out that this is just how computers are. They aren't!!! In their quest to remove all the “scary” details from their poor fragile end users Microsoft have created an ecosystem that behaves completely erratically and unpredictably and is by definition unknowable. Things just happen. Then they stop happening. Nothing ever announces why or how. Just a thousand vague and useless popups that may or may not be there tomorrow. I PROMISE computers are actually extremely simple and logical beasts.

AKA: literally click any ao3 username, "bookmarks" should appear towards the top of the resulting page. You can then voyage into the additionally wonderful waters of filtering by length, "recommended", fandom, etc.

Also: if the fic you like is in collections, try checking them out, especially if the title appeals to you. Can be a great way to find essentially a fic playlist.

I didn't know that existed, saw your post, checked the site out, signed up, and I am having so much fun so far! ...And being reminded how much stuff I missed from older internet days (I have started putting stamps on my profile. I do not like modern internet design at all, but sheezyart gets it all right. Even my very few nitpicks can be excused by the fact the website is in beta, and they're still working on getting everything up to their standards. Dude, I swear. This Slay the Princess game has tainted my view on literally everything.

So, I recently got back into Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion (Highly recommend, btw. The HD renovation is getting a massive graphics update in the fall), and I decided to restart by playing through the story mode (Basically, the main game where you run through 1000 rooms getting chased by monsters and cardboard and whatnot).

Along the way, you can read these notes written by people who entered the mansion and didn't make it. The first collection of notes is by a guy who can only describe things as "romantic":

How do you "bookmark" posts on Tumblr?

Bookmark as in, saving a post in a place that you can easily access later in case you want/need to look at it. Posts like resources, references, links, tutorials (to name a few)... Anything you might want to save for later.

I am curious! I personally reblog them into the Drafts but I'm aware people do it differently.

I have always loved this shot from the Very First Captains' Meeting we see in Bleach. Between some combination of Early Kubo Art Rizz and the fact that he hadn't exactly nailed everyone's aesthetic yet, everyone looks sublimely scrungly.

Anyway, I was delighted to find that the anime gave us a companion shot for the lieutenants, a loving pan over These Sure Are Some Individuals.

Bonus! The manga panel this is based on doesn't have quite the same degree of charm (or the full roster) but they did Mike Wazowski my boy Iba, and I am incredibly charmed by this.

You know what's insane about the Hunger AU. the fact that Grian is trying to die because he does not want to inflict pain upon his friends, but that's exactly the thing that's tormenting them. he's become so determined to stop himself that he's hurting them anyway, and it only gets worse the harder he tries. he doesn't want to be cruel but leading the Hermits on like this about the potions is cruel. he doesn't want to hurt them but seeing him half dead is hurting them. i am shaking like a dog

hunger au really is all about how suicidal ideation and mental illness can just twist your entire perspective into a knot.... like the objective reality is that he IS hurting his friends with this and he IS going to hurt them 10x more when it comes to the potions!!! but grian is so caught up in his own head and his hurt and his guilt that he cant see that or accept the cognitive dissonance that comes with acknowledging it. Its a genuinely tragic set of circumstances and being able to showcase the rapid spiral down followed by the slow crawl back up through recovery is so so so rewarding for me as a writer-- not least bc of reactions like these >:]
