And Cas looks all sad and goopy and Dean is like “Wha” and then the sound behind it is that one song that’s like “Should’ve known better,” and I just had a moment of reflection sitting my weirdly yellow bathtub??? (my house was built in the 60s) and then I got so sad because I realized that the brutal fight between these wild animals that I ear witnessed was the real deal. Like what if in this raccoon society I just witnessed like another Dramatic Destiel Death TM, but like Raccoon Version.

Also, like, I was watching pretty little liars and I heard that one Florence and the Machine song at the end of season 1 and I was like “eargasm” and then I went back to moping in my bathtub with no lights on, fully dressed with no water, because like any another rational person I decided that the very real mountain that just had an extremely dramatic destiel death, but raccoon world (or like animal world ig) would specifically climb up to my window in particular to eat just me, because I was the only one with my lights on, and then it would just like leave afterwards because I was definitely the tastiest snack or whatever, so for some reason I would be the safest in my scary ass bathroom instead of my comfy bed.

Then I just got out of the bathtub because wtf. And the 4 melatonin gummies I ate are kinda kicking in and I am gonna catch that z’s like they aint everr been caught before.

fakaat mobile gelince Youtube da kazansın işi değişiyor. ekranı kapatamıyorsun, başka uygulamaya bakamıyorsun. çıkan reklamlar video olduğu için interneti sömürüyor

bunlardan kurtulmak için güzel bir çözüm var. çok da sağlıklı çalışıyor ve güncelliğini koruyor.

The true question is... if my adblocker on youtube genuinely stops working, am I willing to pay for premium and the answer is... yes. Yes I am.

I have been forced to watch with ads before and I can longer handle it. I just can't. It's brutal.

Not sure, I don't personally use those apps. But you have options!

Use a "front-end client" app. Basically an unofficial youtube app that can fetch yt videos, comments, etc, but blocks the ads itself. For ad-free Youtube I recommend using NewPipe. For ad-free Twitch, I've heard Twire is good. (I have a longer post about how to do this stuff here. It also links to an app for ad-free Spotify Premium, if you're interested.)

Try it out and see if it works! Blokada is a filter for all your phone's network connections, so if those apps use separate connections for ads versus regular content, then you can block just the ad connections. So, open an app you want to try, (you may need to wait til you see an ad), then go to Blokada and look for connections that look ad-related. Block em and see what happens. It will either A) block some ads, B) block some other functionality, or C) do nothing. Worst case, you can always unblock the connection again. Just by toying around with this, I've discovered some domains can be blocked for Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat to reduce ads and trackers.

Lengths I would go to to watch a youtube video:

open it in anonymous window because the "disable you adblocker" seems to only display to logged-in accounts,

make a list of the small amount of creators I follow, log-off and check each account manually every couple of days for new stuff, never logging back in,

only watch stuff on mobile through services like NewPipe,

or even not watch the video at all, and simply go to other places for content.

Things I certainly won't do:

turn of my adblocker,

buy youtube premium.

whether I'm wasting money or not...

almost $20 to have youtube premium on ios at least... just for no ads, as many of the other features like video downloads or now having your phone screen off and videos will continue to play, I don't use.

I used to use that all the time when I'd go to the park, I'd listen to youtube videos and music. and before paying for youtube premium subscription, i just left my phone unlocked and on youtube...

could have my phone open once again if I resume that, or download more game soundtracks and put it on my mp3 player.

do people still use those?

but youtube is a much better repository of music and my mp3 player lacks room...

is putting up with the ads worth it? leaving my phone open?

I genuinely hate that I can't make up my mind with this particular question.... I got used to no ads cause it's been years since I purchased it, got used to it, and only now am i like "is it worth it?"

I'd say no because I don't use many of the features anymore~~~ and never used downloads to begin with.

time to start putting up with ads again; subscription expires tomorrow and i feel it's not worth it to have it anymore.

but I stupidly keep subscribing again~~~

me doing constant back and forth drives me mad and I wish I'd stick to not having it for the long term. put up with ads again while listening to long form videos or music.

but sibling recently paid for it too as ads are getting so bad apparently....

It's not a life or death situation surely, but the constant back and forth and not knowing what to do personally drives me mad.

are ads worth tolerating anymore? I haven't dealt with them in forever, are they really that bad now?

is the $20 worth simply for no ads worth it if I don't use any other features? I'd say no and should probably learn to tolerate them again
