Working on that SoC musical very slowly; it's a little side project since I'm busy with other things but it's still something I want to do. Anyways, I'm literally bouncing around so much, like there is no rhyme or reason to which I am creating things. I do have an idea for the scene where Genya, Zoya and Stumhond/Nikolai visit the Crows is Crooked Kingdom. To me that scene is like a combined song? I dunno the word for it but it's one of those songs where it's essentially two overlapping songs put together. So it's basically Zoya, Kaz and Nikolai discussing things as one part of the song (also with some Zoya and Kaz bickering) and the other part is Genya, Wylan and Jesper during the Tailoring scene. I think both parts start with talking and then fade into the songs. Yeah that's just the idea I have, I don't have any lyrics for really anything yet (except a little bit of a song for Kaz but it's not great), this is just my current WoC musical hyperfictation.

you want to be chosen and for it to be on purpose and to last a while. at least the length of a good long car ride. and then another one back to where you came from. it is the contained intimacy of sharing music and sharing food and sharing time while the world flies by. while the world isn't inside along with you. car rides exist outside of time, they are a pocket of memory we build ourselves into. they linger afterwards. you want that. you want the screaming music and the weird conversation by the beach at 3 am. you want to be wanted and for the world to stop for a while. you want to not be alone. i hope you cross the continent with a friend or lover that you can share silences with. i hope you end up in places you never thought to drive to. i hope you finish one trip and start planning out the next.

Karaoke was in full swing at the office party. You wanna find out whoever it was that suggested office karaoke, and tell the boss they should get fired. Normally you sing in the shower and that’s a secret you were gonna take to the grave.

Well, you and one other person. The only other person in the office who also knows that as they’ve shared it with you. However dating in the office is against the rules so keeping your budding relationship on the down low has been difficult.

Even more so as the one you’re in a relationship with has somehow been forced to go up and sing. You hide your drunken laugh as Nanami Kento stands with the microphone and a stoic face as the clown of the group makes him sing along with him. As the song begins, his eyes widen and he spares a glance at you, knowing that this is one your shower songs.

It feels like it’s only the two of you in a buzzed tunnel vision stupor as he sings the words as soft as possible. But you know better. There’s certain words he says that holds your gaze that tells you everything you need to know. No words be exchanged. Your slightly drunk boyfriend just confessed his love to you doing karaoke.

Your coworkers laugh as the chorus comes and goes but all you can think about is how you’re gonna be singing that more in the shower with him and how it’s going to be a normal part of your life now.
