The thing about typical Uchikoshi twists is that they’re extremely contrived in order to trick you, the player. They make sense in the end, but only by his own bullshit rules and after a LOT of explanation, and also the explanation sounds bonkers because they HAVE to be to facilitate his tricks. It’s technically fair play—but only if you share his sick and twisted mind. (“You’re all infected with a virus that makes the world seem 6 times faster so to make sure you don’t notice we put you on the moon because it has 1/6 gravity. That’s why Phi could jump high, and also why for a short time she seemed to talk like really fast for some reason” like cmon man.)

But it’s sooooo endearing to me how stupid it is, and I think it’s because how he just unapologetically goes all in on the bullshit and doesn’t even try to ground anything (compare to professor layton) and also, it doesn’t feel like he’s being smug about it. He’s just having fun. And so I’m just like, “awwww, that’s so cute”

I already wasn’t much of a smut writer but man the jump between February and August is INSANE. But also not, uterus was on some shit, and then I was given something that made it infinitely worse, but it’s okay! I’m uterus’t! And very clearly we can tell when my body was getting back into order lmao. Like I had many a thots, but never the libido to actually write anything, but hey! Now I’ve got an insane ass backlog to choose from haha. 

Now let’s talk about when I got back. Specifically, Champion’s Gloves, Hands Free, and Sylus’ Myth had me fucking RAILROADED. I was feeling insane about Lighter and his gloves, I was playing A Date with Death: Beyond the Bet, and going insane over the NSFW scenes, and I had to finish that before I could even read Sylus’ fic. It was a fucking time. A time that still isn’t truly past me because to be honest, I need Lighter’s gloves in me again.

We’ve also got a new SFW series here. Usually, it would go on my SFW account, and then anything NSFW would be put here, but I mainly talk about Love and Deepspace and Eila Alelid on this account, so this is where her and Sylus’ story will go (and don’t worry y’all, it will get…heated wink wonk)!

I play so many games rn, let's see if I can list them all. Stardew Valley, Minecraft, Hoyoverse has stolen me with Genshin, HSR, and ZZZ. I play Wuthering Waves on occasion, as well as a few otome games, like Our Life, A Date With Death, and still waiting for Infinite Blue to release. I almost forgot to mention TWST!

I'm new to writing, but I still want to write as much as I can which is why I have so many fandom options. Maybe bc I just like these so much. If I'm not writing it it's probably bc I don't know the fandom/characters enough

imagine leon and helena trying to have a heart to heart sorta thing. leon's super fuckin awkward about it, but the general offer is summed up, "y'wanna talk about it...?"

helena brushes it off at first, leon gestures that he's welcoming her to talk if she needs... eventually she does, and it's just this nice thing between unexpected friends.

leon's quiet, but he's nice to have while helena's getting everything off her chest. she welcomes him to do the same and... he does, but she sees how much he's holding back/bottling up. she knows not to pry too much, but... maybe, the longer they know each other... eventually she gets him to be a little more open.

Not to knock on Wrightworth or other Phoenix ships but people like to make most of Phoenix's actions have a romantic undertone and really miss out on the fact that he'll just about die for anyone he considers a friend.

Like he took on a clearcut murder case with zero experience (what's a cross-examination lol) because he was friends with Larry in school.

He STRAIGHT UP ATE GLASS AND METAL for the girl he was dating and was willing to ignore that she'd murdered someone.

He changed his whole ass career to get in contact with Edgeworth again just to make sure he was okay emotionally (and for other reasons that people like to ignore just for making it all about Edgeworth), even though they literally were like in 4th grade together for like half a year.

The first case he defended Maya was almost entirely because of Mia, because he didn't know Maya yet.

Literally EVERY CASE that he defends Maya in he's going above and beyond all reason and logic to prove that she's not guilty.

Him literally going against all reason and evidence and Edgeworth's own admission in the Edgeworth case to prove he's not guilty.

HIM LITERALLY ONLY TAKING ON THE SKYE CASE BECAUSE EMA AND LANA REMINDED HIM OF MAYA AND MIA.

Him literally in the Engarde case willing to compromise all his principles to get a murderer off the hook to save her (they give you the option of going with pleading that Engarde is innocent, even though it doesn't effect the outcome).

Him literally running across a burning bridge at night over a huge cliff to make sure she's alright.

All I'm saying is I think the writers more intended to characterize Phoenix as someone who is willing to do almost anything for people he cares about (even if he acts like a grumpy asshole most of the time), more than emphasizing any one romantic relationship.

(I also think that's why he took Edgeworth faking his death so hard, and was so pissed at him for it. Like he felt betrayed and helpless at Edgeworth commiting suicide, mad (at Edgeworth and himself) that Edgeworth thought he couldn't come to him for help, when he would do anything for him. And then he finds out he was deceived, and couldn't understand how anyone could do that to someone they care about, like it's not in his friendship vocabulary ((also the fact that Edgeworth had confided in Gumshoe and not him that he was still alive, meaning he trusts Gumshoe more than him as a friend.)) It all comes down to Phoenix being betrayed that he's not trusted and his devotion to his friends not returned.)

Anyway sorry this is so long I hope it makes sense.

(also I've only played the original trilogy)
