post canon twinyards grudgingly going to therapy who at first get so far away from each other after sessions and ignore each other for minimum 24 hours to compensate for anything said with bee. months go by and slowly andrew stops dropping aaron off at the dorm or practice or the library and fleeing the scene to get space to breathe, they start to walking into the dorm together but to separate rooms, and then shifts to eventually not going straight home they go to a diner and sit and eat and it becomes a little tradition. starts out silent but eating together in the comfort of their presence and then it's little quips about annoying things the other said in session or teasing about little things from the week. it turns into being siblings and throwing fries at the others head when they say something stupid

bee has no idea this is happening they don't mention it to her or to anyone else for months. by the time it does come up they have moved onto actually Talking with just each other at the diner and aaron one session brings up something andrew said the previous week after therapy and bee who has watched their progress can't even hide her surprise fully at the fact that they are openly talking to each other and have a standing time for just them outside of therapy. she does however suggest they do it on a different day so that any particularly hard therapy sessions don't infringe on that and so that they can learn to be there for each other on days that aren't just wednesday, which they are but they both find comfort in wednesdays being for them

it is actually wild how cis people pretend "can you please not misgender me" as some sort of egregious demand that we're sooo unreasonable for and how we should just be able to brush it all off no matter what, considering not only do cis people get wildly offended when they're misgendered but also when they accidentally misgender someone they believe to be cis they practically get down on their knees and beg for forgiveness, so great is the social transgression they just committed. they really expect you to be mad as hell. obviously water is wet but sometimes i think when you're told over and over and over again that you're making a big deal out of nothing and everyone else is actually so chill about misgendering, it's important to recall that cis people are by far the least chill about being misgendered, and that in the absence of trans people, cis people all agree that being misgendered sucks and the person in the wrong who needs to apologize is the misgenderer, even if it was an accident (in fact especially so). like everyone implicitly understands the discomfort in being misgendered, and when they insist that it isn't uncomfortable, what they actually mean is that they think you deserve the discomfort. i think we should stop letting these assholes mince words and feign ignorance about something they understand perfectly well. if u all were literally half as chill as you expect us to be we could blanket the earth in 10ft of snow

Okay so I completely agree with you on the whole nobody focuses on Charlie’s feelings in the equation. Cause I don’t really hear about it from the fandom I suppose but to be brutally honest? Seeing how dismissive Lucifer was the entire time was just hat made me dislike him as a person if that makes sense.

I still like him as a character but at the same time the way he seems to love Charlie so much but is still so dismissive and neglectful in a way that speaks more of his own pride and not wanting to admit his own mistakes, well it just makes me want to strangle the guy. Cause as you said it has messed Charlie up. Look at how she reacted when Vaggie first suggested it. That was not the reaction of someone who was happy to even hear about it.

She didn’t even want to hear about it! She tried to get Vaggie to stop several times before her girlfriend said it out loud. Not to mention just how much she outright pleaded with her Dad to try to get him to listen. Especially during the balcony scene where she makes it clear that despite the fact Alastor isn’t a family member, and not to mention is just here to see her fail, is more supportive than her own father.

I think that in that moment is why Alastor part in the song makes so much more sense as well. Cause he is here to be entertained by failure, at least in Charlie’s eyes, yet he still does the shit he is asked to do. Alastor is a manipulative and observant fucker, as you said he clocked what issues Charlie had within a week. He gained her trust, and I would say even her loyalty in some way since she sees him as a trusted advisor of sorts.

And yeah I hadn’t realized it before but you’re right about Lucifer going there being entirely selfish. I think it makes the whole situation all the more painful for Charlie honestly. Cause it is clear she cares so deeply about this, even with a shortened time for extermination she tries to get everyone shape for what she thinks would be right for heaven. I also find it kind of ironic in a way.

Lucifer was cast out for his own dreams that went wrong and I think it’s pretty clear that even before the garden that they were put down. Yet in trying to protect his daughter from the same fate, he is crushing her the same way they did to him. Charlie seems to be quite resilient to be able to handle that sort of thing, especially from her own parents.

Sorry for the rant I just have a lot of thoughts about everything that happens.

hello... i am a fellow doncho fang enjoyer. i have also thought about this very important quandry many times over and i've come to the conclusion that nai_ga (the art director/character designer) just doesn't do pronounced fangs in his art very much, stylistcally. she does have them- they're easiest to see in sancho's battle sprites (especially the frenzied version from LCB checkup), and are also somewhat visible in her crying and angry talksprites. and i desperately imagine LCB don has them now even though there is no evidence for it </3

Egad... you are both correct... I have written endless hours of fanfiction about this character and not noticed this...

Looking at the sprites really really closely it seems like she loses her fangs while wearing Rocinante. It does make sense as her smile is so friend-shaped :D

I actually find both her having and losing them to be kinda fun in their own way though, so I'm not sure what headcanon I like best...
