If you threaten other women just because you both value different aspects of womanhood, then you are not a feminist.

as much as i hate the daily wire and anyone who associates with them, i can’t help but feel bad for Abigail Shapiro. She’s so unnecessarily sexualized by both the far right and liberals. it’s seriously a problem, this poor girl probably doesn’t have a clue some basement nerd is making hentai of her. i genuinely feel bad for her and i hope that in the end, she’s remembered for something other than her milkers (idk what else to call them). that’s it. but seriously, leave her alone.

Abby Shapiro - Ben "Bring a Bucket and a Mop' Shapiro's sister - has made a video about how apparently society today is questioning whether women should be mothers or not. And I'm about to mcfreaking lose it. Girl Defined also uploaded a similar plate of hot dog vomit recently on the exact same subject.
Nobody is debating whether women as a collective should continue having children. The consensus, believe it or not, is still in favour of the human species' continued existence. What you seem to be trying to say, Abby, my good twit, is that you see individual women making the choice - or being forced by economic misery - to not bring children into the world themselves. And because you are jealous and bitter and unhappy and trapped by your own life choices, this makes you angry enough to rant about it in a youtube video. Calling these childless women selfish and dumb won't make your own misery go away. please stop telling other people how to live their lives when it does not affect you in the slightest. JFC.

Okay but what if Victorious did the NCIS scene where Abby and Palmer get glued together? Pop Life is the episode.
Abby is trying to teach Palmer about this stuff they have to use, and it involves strong glue. Palmer isn't listening cause he's staring at Abby and accidentally knocks the glue over and they both go down to try and clean it, but their heads hit, and they fall back. Palmer tries to get up, but his hands touch the glue. He helps Abby up by pulling her up by the forearms and they get stuck. Abby is trying to pull away and is walking backwards, making Palmer slide with her cause he is wearing gloves but for his shoes. They end up getting caught by McGee, in which, he yells "Palmer, what the hell are ya doing!?" and Abby goes "McGee, acetone and Band-Aids. FAST!"
I think Tori as Abby, Jade McGee, and Robbie as Palmer.

tbh nothing is a bigger turnoff to me than being a tradwife type. either a wannabe or an actual traditionally married woman it’s just impossible for me to see anything attractive about a woman if I know that about her

The way terfs seethe about you using he/him pronouns makes me think they’ve never actually met butches in real life. Like…even, maybe especially, among older butch lesbians, it’s not uncommon for them to either be totally ambivalent towards pronouns or maybe half-jokingly (half being the operative word) go by he/him among friends at the very least. I’m starting to think these internet radical lesbians aren’t actually as community oriented as they desperately claim they are.
the vast majority of them aren't lesbians nor are they actual feminists, they're just right-winged fascists putting on a show in order to groom young traumatized women and girls into fascism by pretending like they're some therapy group

why did both the cambridge and the oxford union invite ben shapiro to speak. it cheapens the institutions’ integrity, it’s nothing but an obvious ploy for media attention and viral moments. the union is supposed to be a place for debate and genuine intellectual discussion not terminally online hissy fits. fuck the union(s) i hope the cunts behind this are cursed w stale pints forever i hope you’re bloody well pleased w yourselves

A lot of people PREACH about diversifying your feed and “opening your mind” by following/tuning into POC, LGBT+, or female creators, yet DO NOT diversify their own feed by following/tuning into people with different opinions [i.e., Blaire White (trans woman), Jordan Peterson, Abby Shapiro (Jewish woman), Matt Walsh (father of 4-5 kids), etc].
WHICH, by doing so, you will open your mind further since you get to hear opinions or ideas that you, or anybody similar to you, probably won’t ever come up with. Sticking to what is comfortable, or what you know, is not diversity. Step out of your comfort zone. Practice what you preach and be inclusive of all people, maybe you’ll actually learn something.
I know I did. My eyes are more open than I ever thought they were thanks to tuning into content other than what is created solely by one community.
You’ll never grow as a person, or step closer to finding middle ground with others who think differently than you, if you never take the time to hear them out. Some people desperately want their opinions and “truths” to be heard and accepted, but isn’t that how everyone feels? Listen to people and you will be listened to.
If you keep pushing people away who have differing opinions/views, then you are part of the problem.
We are more alike than different.
It all starts with healthy discussions, focusing on middle ground, sticking to what is real, listening to concerns, finding where you agree, and going from there.

Dumbest Thing I've Ever Heard: 8/3/2023
Fifth place: Twitter user @eyeskewer
This is a little older than the stuff I normally cover on this blog, but I feel like this is worth highlighting as it perfectly shows my issue when many who make conspiratorial claims about transgender medical care:
my "informed consent" was my doctor I had just met handing me papers telling me my voice would drop soon, I could freeze my eggs, I might get acne, and whatever else. I probably didn't even hear everything she said, I just told her I wanted the shot. so I got it. I just turned 18
So you were told you wanted something medical done to you, were told about the risks and consequences, and then got it. I really don't see what the big deal is here.
Fourth Place: Marco Rubio
Elon Musk's time as CEO of Twitter has been far from perfect, but easily the best addition he has made is the community notes feature. For just one example, here is a Tweet from Marco Rubio:
Tumblr media
Also, those claims about the 2016 Presidential Election were never proven to be fake--just wanted to add that real quick.
Third Place: Scott Lively
The deranged homophobe who wrote an entire book blaming the Nazis on homosexuality wrote a column a couple of days back with the headline "Leftist lawfare and the abuse of power." A decent chunk of it is spent defending Russian President Vladimir Putin, but here are some highlights:
In all my years of watching corporate U.S. news about Russia and Putin, I have never seen a single counter-argument ever being offered in defense of President Putin (coverage of him is even worse than that of Trump). It's been more than a decade since Obama restarted the Cold War to punish the Russians for banning "gay" propaganda to children, when every story began to paint him as a "brutal monster" – to the point that even many conservatives (who have zero reason to trust that same media on anything) seem to agree.
The hatred of Putin on an international scale has nothing to do with the anti-homosexuality laws he has put in place while President of Russia--although, don't get me wrong, that didn't help matters, but several countries with anti-homosexuality laws are still seen in a positive light by the international community (wrongfully so, in my opinion). It was more his imperial ambitions--starting with his invasion of Georgia in 2008--that caused the international community to move away from him.
Second Place: Abby Johnson
I've mostly been ignoring the story about a handful of far-right Christians refusing to support the fringe Presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy because of his Hinduism, however given Abby Johnson was sold to us a few years back as a a reasonable anti-abortion activist--an oxymoron if I've ever heard one. And she has decided to take a stance against a Hindu President, saying:
Do not be a victim of Satan’s confusion right now. This is an important time for us to have clarity of mind as we are going into an election cycle. So please discern. Please use discernment right now because God hates those who are willing to put up idols over him, and he will not be mocked.
All I wish to say is that if you really want a President that's a dedicated Christian--can I recommend you a guy named Joe Biden? Oh who am I kidding, if Ramaswamy does get the nomination it's going to be just like when Billy Graham took Mormonism off his list of cults so he and his followers could vote for Mitt Romney in 2012.
Winner: Ben Shapiro
This man, considered by many to be serious political commentator, does not know the difference between eating and drinking:
[Trump] would face a whopping 641 years in prison. Which I assume means he would not survive prison. Although he is 70% preservatives at this point because he eats so much McDonalds and Diet Coke.
He eats Diet Coke? Ben, do you know how Diet Coke works?
Ben Shapiro you've said the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

Violent, sexual misogyny is not like a punishment that some women earn by being bad people btw. If we decide it’s okay for men to wield rapey behavior as a weapon, it’s never going to go away

I’m sorry, I’m haunted by the thought of being Mara Wilson, age... let’s say 9... and I’m staying at my aunt’s house. And my cousins are super excited to share their special meal with me.
And it’s fucking... Kraft Mac & Cheese... but there’s no cheese. It’s just plain noodles. They’re not even hot. And my two dead-eyed cousins are so thrilled to shove this horrible food at me. This is their culture, apparently.
What do you do in that position? What do you FUCKING do?
