"Okay, she's the star of the play. And she's my girl friend, I get to have sex with the star of the play!" You rolled your eyes and took your seat.

"Why am I here?"

"People can hear you. And because we want you here." Akaashi assured you.

"I know!" Bokuto screamed before sitting down as the play starts, "wow! She looks great. Doesn't she?"

"Yeah.." Onstage there was a knock and Bokuto's girlfriend, G/n opens the door.

"Hi!" You sat up straighter as a hot guy was brought onto stage. "That is one good looking man." Bokuto and Akaashi looked at you. "Sorry."

"Is it just me, or can you actually see his abs through his overcoat?" You looked over at Bo as he frowned.

"Sooo, you've been doing this long?"

"No, you're my first. Put the money on the table." Akaashi and Bokuto have stunned looks on their faces as her and her co-star began to make out. You covered your ears at the moaning noises.

Once the play was over Akaashi, Bokuto, and you headed to your apartment seeing Kuroo and Daichi there. And of course Kenma on his phone playing a game. "Hey how was the play?"

"She made out with a really hot guy." This caused all the guys to look at you. "Sorry."

"Well, was it really hot?" Kuroo asked Bokuto as he layed on your couch.

"Yeah..."

"Well, ok then. You're fine. The rule is when two actors are actually doing it off-stage all the sexual tension is gone. Okay? So as long as it's hot onstage you got nothing to worry about. It's when the heat goes away, then you should worry."

The boys seemed to drag you to the next play G/n was in, with the same hot guy. "I'm right, right? There was no chemistry between them. Before they had heat, there was no heat. Kuroo told us what that means." You sighed as Bokuto went on a rant about how Kuroo was right.

"Let's not jump into conclusions."

"Here she comes, just don't be... you know."

"Oh hey guys."

"Hey."

"Did you enjoy the show?"

"Yeah it was funny when the hot guy couldn't get his button undone faster." You said sarcastically, "sorry."

"Yeah play was great, clearly you're having sex with him."

"Okay we're gonna..." Akaashi pulled you away from the two.

"Hey, you can go if you want. I can wait for him."

"He'll realize your feelings soon enough, okay?" You waved by to Akaashi as he left. A few minutes later you saw G/n run out the theater. You walked over back to Bokuto.

"Hey. Bo?" He looked up at you with cold eyes. "What...?"

"It's your fault. It's always you." You eyes widen at his words, your fault? You didn't know what else to say as he left.

When you got back to your apartment you saw Kuroo and Kenma sitting on the couch. "Y/n? What's wrong?" Kenma paused his game to look at you.

"I'm pretty sure Bo and G/n got in a huge fight and he blamed me..."

"What? Come sit." You walked over to the couch and sat between the two boys. "What did he say exactly?"

"He said it was my fault. It's always me... I don't know what that means, but I don't want them to break up because of me..."

"Stupid steps." You all got up looking confused, opening the door and seen Bokuto enter his apartment, "Slut." He walked over to y'all watching him already. "You will be very happy to know she's sleeping with that guy." You all followed him back to his apartment across the hall.

"What happened?"

"I confronted her, she didn't deny it." He looked over at me for a second before rolling his eyes.

"I... I think I'ma go to bed..."

"Hey you okay? Your cheeks are puffy?" I looked at Daichi and smiled.

"Have you been crying?" Suga walked over and cupped your cheeks.

"Someone said something and I took it to heart, I'll be fine."

"N/n."

"Leave me alone, Bokuto." You slammed his door and covered you mouth so sobs won't come out before walking into your apartment and going to your room. Once you slammed your door shut you slid down it sobbing, letting the tears out.

"N/n?" You buried your head into your arms as they knocked. "Come on let us in." You opened the door seeing Kiyoko and Yachi. "Kuroo called." They sat on the floor next to you holding you while you cried.

You were talking to Kiyoko about a few plays they've came up with when Bokuto walked in, "Hey, how was the talk? How did it go?"

"Well she wasn't sleeping with him." You looked down trying not to be noticed.

"Oh good."

"She is now." He slumped in a chair as Kuroo patted his shoulder.

"You okay?"

"No, she's... she is a devil woman! Y'know? I mean you think you know someone and then they turn around and sleep with their co-star. Who has rock hard abs, and giant man nipples. I hate him, I hate her. Well, I don't hate her I love her. This is all my fault really..."

"How? How is your fault?" You swore you saw him look at you for a second before answering.

"Because, I-I should've called! Y'know if I had just called her after our big, stupid fight, she never would've gone out with him, and they would've ended up in bed together. I threw her at his man nipples!"

"Honey, this is not your fault, just because you guys had a fight, it does not justify her sleeping with someone."

"Well, if-if she thought they were on a break..." You all turn and glare at Kuroo. "Not the time for a friend joke... my bad."

"I'll be back." You didn't wait for them to answer, you was out the door. You knocked and waited for an answer.

"Y/n?"

"Why?"

"Why What?"

"Why would you cheat on him, have you met him?"

"He accused me of cheating."

"SO! You weren't, he came here to apologize, just because you guys have one big fight, doesn't give you the right to go and actually did it." She made a death glare at you.

"You have no room to talk." You looked at her confused. "You're in love with him." You looked down.

"It doesn't matter."

"Yes it does. How can I compete with you."

"You don't have to. Bokuto would never go for me, even if he did like me, he's to in love with you to notice. You think I want this? To be in love with one of my best friends? To have him completely break because of you? To be blamed for all of this? No, I want to go on through my day without thinking of Bo, and be there for my friend who's girlfriend just cheated on him, but I can't. You made a huge mistake, Bokuto is funny, sweet, caring, and he'd never ever cheat on you. He's to much of a sweetheart to do that. Yes, he accused you of cheating, but it's only because he cares so much about you." She looked at you then looked down. "Now you have to live with the fact that you ruined the best person who you could ever have in your life, G/n." You walked away and back to your apartment, everyone looked at you making you stop. "She's sorry." You walked passed them and to your room.

"N/n." You stopped at your door and sighed, you heard footsteps and felt warmth cover your shoulder.

"I'm sorry, N/n." You felt a tear fall, he grabbed your shoulder and turned you around, pulling you into his arms. "I'm sorry." He just held you as y'all cried, "I had no right to say it was your fault. I'm so sorry for making you cry." You shook your head, wrapping your arms around his neck and hugged him properly. You pulled away and walked in your room, and closed the door and sighed.

The past few days after, Bokuto has been trying to make it up to you for being a dick. You already forgiven him, but he doesn't believe you. "Bo, I'm serious, you're forgiven." He kept following you into the store with your favorite flowers in his hands.

"No, I refuse to be forgiven so soon."

"Then what's with all the gifts?"

"Bokuto?" You both turn your head to see G/n. "Y/n, hi."

"Hi."

"Um. I'm sorry, I had no right to meet up with B/n after our fight. Y/n made me realize that." You turned around to look at what you went there for letting them talk. "I'm also sorry, because the reason I did it was jealousy. And that's no excuse."

"Jealousy? Of what?"

"Bokuto. You talk about her 24/7, you wait for someone else to bring her up just to talk about her more. I can't compete with her. I'm not Y/n. I thought I was over exaggerating but then you stuck up for her... I knew you loved her. Part of me always knew it."

"I loved you."

"Maybe, but not as much as her." You sighed as G/n left, Bokuto looked at you confused.

"You okay?"

"Um... I guess? You?"

"I'm fine... is what she said true?"

"I... I keep buying you gifts not just to be forgiven, but because I realized how much I like you."

"I like you too, Bo... but I need time. I need to know this isn't you just realizing it because you were cheated on."

"It's not." He lifted your chin to look him the eye. "It's always you." You felt tears fall at those three words again. He smiled at you before kissing your head. "That's what I meant that night." You held onto his jacket as your cried in the middle of the store, not caring about the looks you were receiving.

Extremely dangerous how "grooming" in the context of child sexual abuse went from being a very specific pattern of isolation and trust-building with the aim of abusing someone to "telling children anything that contradicts their parents' ultra-conservative worldview is grooming" to "selling rainbow flags in a store is grooming" to "literally anyone I don't like is a groomer".

These days the word seems to most often be used by people who don't care about what it actually means and just want an easy "this person is irredeemably evil, kill them now" button.
