Surprisingly I don't hate it as much as I used to. I still dislike it because of the age gap and the fact that they are cannonically closer to brothers but I understand why people enjoy their dynamic

Jaith (James x keith): 8/10

I think they're cute... they honestly have the rival thing going for them more than klance actually do which I think is so funny. I've seen a few fics where keith discovers why James picked on him and there's like angst and shit and they were pretty cute so.

Katt/rebelfire: 100/10

MY FAVE RAREPAIR!!!!!!!!! I honestly love them so much its unhealthy. I think it's so cute, because matt and keith probably would know each other from the garrison because they'd both be around shiro a lot, and then a reunion in space is such a cute idea.

Keitor (keith x lotor): 6/10

I don't hate it as much as I was expecting to. I think the fact that they are both half galra, like with lotors generals make it a kinda cute pairing, the fact that they are both like. The only galra hybrids of their kind. I think it can be cute, but it also can be toxic, and it really depends on how you write it.

Kallura: 7/10

I love both of the characters and their interactions, but I see them as platonic more than anything else.

Keith x axca (idk their ship name sorry): 5/10

Again, I love the characters and their interactions, but I see them both as gay in the opposite direction. Honestly I prefer them as wlw mlm solidarity or siblings, although I won't actively stop reading a fic if this is the ship.

Keith x regris (once again, don't know the ship name): 7/10

I actually quite like it? I don't know very much about it bc I'm not that far into the show so I don't really know their cannon relationship but. From the fics I've read, they're pretty cute

I love both the characters so much and I love the idea of them being best friends or siblings, but I hate the idea of them romantically. I just can't see it at all.

I actually have never really considered this dynamic? I've seen a few fics with it as the main ship, but I've never really read any of them. Idk what my opinion is tbh, I see them more as friends but I guess they could have potential?

I'm sorry kidge shippers but. No. Number 1, pidge is like 15 and keith is 18. Number 2, I headacannon pidge as acearo, and keith as gay. Number 3, why would you have them as romantic when you could have them as chaotic cryptid kids that are queerplatonic besties?

Basically, being A-spec and a Sonadow lover has never been more amazing considering there's some amazing content out there. Such as Judge My Sins, one of my main inspirations for my own fic series.

I don’t usually comment on fics, this might be my second or third in all my years of reading fanfic but I adore this series, it satisfies a want I’ve had for a specific type of fanfic ever since I read a similar type of fic that had just gruesomely beautiful poetry. It’s actually what got me into poetry in the first place and this series makes me want to go write more.

I’m acearo as well and usually I’m okay with intimacy in a romantic way in my media, it works well enough for me but whenever I read weird qpr/just non-romantic intimacy it hits differently. Especially kind of fucked up intimacy, a sort of codependence and the want to just melt into another’s bones and live in their marrow in a weirdly non-romantic or sexual way. Has been a sword (or more commonly a labrys, or improvised weapon) gay for thousands of years

She's an unknowably old immortal and unspeakably skilled in any/all forms of combat. She typically uses her signature axe but per the other characters, "she's forgotten more ways to kill than entire armies will ever learn." Until recently, an unkillable gay (at least not permanently). She's bitter, she's badass, she's even bisexual. Peace and love on planet Earth.

Andromache is super tough, strong, and can beat anyone in a fight. She can also beat the bury the gays allegations as she can die but does not stay dead. She has been alive since est. 4700 BCE and has been protecting humanity with her blade skills for over 6000 years. She has been the leaders of various communities and worshiped as a goddess in several cultures. Andy is the founding member of the Old Guard, where she fights side-by-side with her life long love Quyuh (or Noriko as she is known in the comics, who is also a badass warrior and archer). Andy knows countless languages and is an expert in all weapons but her main weapon of choice is her labrys (a very lesbian blade weapon, so I hope it can be excused that it is not a sword). She has forgotten more ways to kill a man than any person/army will ever know in their lives. And yet even with this ferocious and tough skill-set, she is still so kindhearted, caring, passionate, selfless and protective of her found family and will do anything for them and for her love (even during the present complicated situation which i will not outline bc spoilers for The Old Guard). i have so many thoughts about bridgerton this season. like genuinely, SO MANY - and most of them are honestly regarding the “queer siblings” situation. especially francesca and eloise (im still pushing the acearo sapphic el agenda) and the hate i see them receiving! i could defend them for days. also cressida they could never make me hate you!! i actually have full essays in my thoughts 😭

also despite the fact that i dont have an issue with THOSE changes, this season also had so many objective issues. lord debling being completely forgotten about for the second half of the season, cressida’s writing and arc entirely, the lack of focus on polin itself despite them being the season’s main characters (though as someone who doesn’t really like colin i was honestly fine with it!), etc etc.

bridgerton is one of the only shows that has made me fully invested in the relationships and lives of its female characters. they are consistently nuanced, three-dimensional, and given decent amounts of agency for the time period, as well as actual issues that they struggle with. i cannot understate how much i DESPISE seeing people hate on said female characters. i love them all and will defend them forever.

so yeah. so many thoughts. id be ecstatic to organize them and write them down if anyone’s actually interested!

One Piece is a really great story to get into if you're polyamorous/acearo spec/nuclear family construct rejector/relationship anarchist. There are two big reasons for this.

One is it doesn't give a shit about the precious pedestal that blood-relations sits upon in our politics and culture. It often depicts how being forced into a family relationship with someone because of blood and the culture around that can really fucking suck, ruin your life, and even kill you. It doesn't sensitively dance around that by obsequiously rushing to assure the audience "oh but that doesn't mean nuclear genetic families are bad, look they can be good too!" because it's afraid of being genuinely counter-cultural. It's not and it doesn't. It rules.

Two is that chosen family relationships are always the center of the story, and the main characters at the heart of that explicitly reject any normative terminology and roles. None of their relationships with each other match up 1:1 with any normalized romantic, platonic, or familial relationships. But they live together and they love each other. It's a part of the main theme of the nature of freedom and connection that they love and accept each other without any expectation or obligation to.

Also, they're all outlaws who have to fight to stay together so the metaphor is also the literal. It's great.
