You sighed and told them for the 3rd time, "Child, those eyes aren't mine alone! You cannot kill someone all because they have the same eye colour as me."

"If I may interject, I do think that..." Zhongli started, "Venti is for the first time in his life correct."

"Oh no, not this again." You grumbled as the Archons got into another argument. You started massaging your forehead and with a flick of your wrist, Seraphina was summoned and you left, leaving the Archons in Seraphina's supervision.

After a good time passed the Archon's voices died down as they soon realised that you aren't even in the same room as them. "Ahem, Your Grace had taken her leave while you all were busy arguing," Seraphina quickly explained where your whereabouts were because we all know that the cat would be dead 10 times over if he didn't tell them where you were in the next 0.1 milliseconds.

"YOUR GRACCEEEEEE," You heard their voices desperately asking you who you think is in right to determine who won the argument.

'Goodness, they can never stop acting like kids...' You thought as you softly smiled at them.

You, a ryoka, on the loose in the soul society, have the unfortunate privilege of running into him first.

You'd come in with Ichigo and the others to save Rukia

And upon running into Byakuya, ask-

"Hey you! Do you have any idea where I am right now? I'm trying to get to this cell thingy and save my friend. Could you give me directions?"

Either you're incredibly stupid or incredibly brave to talk to one of the Court Guard Captains like that.

It's definitely stupidity

And you have the nerve to address him so formally.

He immediately uses the shikai of his zanpakutō

"Scatter, Senbonzakura."

And what did you you?

You swatted away the mass of blossoms like it was a bug.

"Flowers???? You tryna say I stink or something 😡😡😡"

And he's just ??????

Because nobody, not even Ichigo, was strong enough to swat away his attack.

And the smallest of smiles graced his face. His eyes looking down at you softly

Rukia waited for you to leave before confronting her brother.

"You like them, don't you?"

He turned away from her, yet she caught the slight red dusting his cheeks.

"I have no idea what you're talking about."

"Don't play dumb. I saw you just now. When's the last time you ever sparred with somebody, let alone smile like that?" She had a smug grin on her face, knowing that her words sunk in as Byakuya left in a hurry.

Did he have feelings for you?

No, he couldn't.

He already tried his luck at happiness with Hisana.

There was no way he could just forget about her and move on.

But then why did he let his guard down with you?

Why had he let your infectious grins spread to him?

Why did a small part of him look forward to your visits?

It'd take him while to figure out what he wanted.

He eventually came to the consensus that Hisana would want him to move forward and be happy. She wouldn't want him to continue grieving over something that wasn't his fault

So after a bit of deliberation, he'd begun trying to court you.

Now Byakuya is one of the few unfortunate souls that tries to court you normally.

He tries gift giving, which you appreciate but don't understand the secret undertones.

You just think he's finally accepted you as a friend 🥺.

He invites you over to his estate to walk you through the gardens.

The whole time you have no clue it's supposed to be a date.

He's exasperated because he thinks you're being oblivious on purpose as not to hurt his feelings.

Rukia reassures him that's not the case and he just has to be direct.

"They're an idiot, remember? They're not gonna understand subtlety."

So he leads you somewhere quiet, hopefully without any interruptions, and tries to confess.

He'll place a hand on your head, a gesture you seem to enjoy, and start speaking.

He's halfway through when the dots connect in your smol brain and you realize what's going on.

You pull him by his collar and kiss him before he gets a chance to finish.

And he's glad he wasn't the one making a fool of himself this time.

He won't call you anything sweet in public.

The best you'll get out of him is your name.

But in the privacy of his estate, he'll call you dearest, sweetheart, hun, and love.

Doesn't hold you back if you wanna fight.

He trusts in your ability to choose your battles.

Although, he'll interfere if he thinks the enemy is about to kill you. Scolding you right after for being careless.

You always argue with the clan elders and he's happy you don't let them push you around.

He has to get used to being forward with you. Which is a challenge for the emotionally closed off man.

But he knows it's worth it every time you give him that dopey smile.

okay i'll try to be serious for once lmao.

first, acadimileth has a special spot in my heart. i know some people dont like the teacherxstudent thing, but i think with dimileth works perfectly without too many moral issues: 1) dimitri and byleth are close in age, 2) it's not our modern world, but a fantasy/medieval ages-like, 3) him being a FUCKING PRINCE outclasses her being a teacher, in the "omg she has power over him" argument speaking. also, they dont do anything while dimitri is still a student, the in-game romance happens after 5 years of byleth sleeping, plus 1 year of war where byleth is not a teacher anymore.

so, acadimileth is one of my fav dimileth type. i love when dimitri is shy thinking about his professor and his inner turmoils, and i love that byleth slowly learns how to have friends, how to feel emotions, and how to understand that the funny feeling she feels in her heart everytime she thinks about dimitri is something more than "simple friendship" eueue :D also hot bc forbidden.

also for three houses, i like dimileth with feralmitri after the time-skip. i may be ace, but feralmitri makes me feel Things 👀 ahem anyway. the angst, the hurt/comfort, feralmitri making feral sex with his professor, it's just *chef kiss*

Okayyy… So I’ve recently become ultra obsessed with Naoki Urasawa's Monster (it’s sooo good). The trope pages for it however are really giving me a migraine🤦🏼‍♀️ simply because they labelled Johan Liebert as a Complete Monster!! If you look on the wiki list for CM in Anime/Manga - HE'S THE PAGE IMAGE🤯 Ahem, he’s a monster for sure but most certainly a Tragic Monster or what is called a Woobie Destroyer of Worlds - there’s a difference! A Woobie Destroyer of Worlds has a reason for why they are what they are, oftentimes something traumatic in their childhood - Johan had several severely messed up things happen to him from the time he was born‼️ Also a CM is incapable of loving another human being: JOHAN WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR ANNA!! Listen, I’m not trying to justify his actions but I don’t think it’s accurate to describe the character as being born pure evil when there’s plenty of textual information that refute that claim! Plus how can they call Johan a Complete Monster but not these characters:

Petr Čapek

He is complicit in Franz Bonaparta's atrocities, likely taking part in the experiments at the Red Rose Mansion. He also helped Bonaparta kidnap Anna from her home and threatened her.

He killed a family, including two children, on Bonaparta's orders.

After re-establishing himself in Germany, he psychologically tortured a new group of innocent children, driving them to violence and suicide, causing the suicide of Milan's son, and showed no remorse for it even though they were childhood friends.

He had contempt for Turkish people, trying to expel them from their homes.

He murdered the five leaders of the resistance against him.

He masterminded a plan to burn down the Turkish quarter, which could have caused massive loss of life.

He attempts to convince Johan to be the Neo-Nazis' leader in a grand plot to begin World War 3 and wipe out all non-Aryan races in the world.

He repeatedly tried to have Johan's sister kidnapped so he could use her as a hostage.

He showed no apparent remorse when his childhood friend Milan was gunned down in an attempt to assassinate him.

He ordered Eva Heinemann killed when she had served her purpose, and then had Martin killed for failing to do this.

He showed no concern for the murders committed by Johan, claiming that they were his will.

He murdered his driver in a fit of paranoia.

He gave up Bonaparta's whereabouts in order to save his own life.

Compared to Franz Bonaparta, who made a serious attempt to atone for his own crimes, Capek shows very little remorse.

The Baby

He is established to be a Neo-Nazi and a racist politician, even owning a neighborhood filled with people like him.

The Baby plans to use Nina in order to get her brother's attention.

Despite appearing affable towards Nina, it is nothing but a facade in his manipulation towards her.

He arrogantly believes that Johan supports and agrees with his racist views without understanding that he is a nihilist who doesn't care about those beliefs as he looks down on all humans equally.

He runs over Tenma with his car and is disappointed that he did not die from the impact and then later kidnaps him.

Like the organization, he wants to convert Johan to his racist ideology and make him the new leader of Germany under the organization's control.

He tries to purge the Turkish community by burning down a neighborhood filled with them. This is really bad as this would qualify as an attempted genocide since he strongly hates the Turks.

While at that, he enjoys the destruction of other minorities that he causes.

The Baby tortures Tenma just because he's Asian.

Even when Tenma told him that Johan hates all humans equally, he continued to beat him anyway.

He attempts to kill Dieter, who is a kid that Tenma saved from Hartman and expresses gleefulness during the action.

He threatened to kill Martin if he failed his job.

Throughout the story, he shows no remorse for his actions.

Isaac:

When it seemed to Isaac that the Farmer couldn't have been any more annoying, they brought him that damn fruit. And offered it to him. Of all the fruit - why couldn't they at least bring regular apples or pears! - they chose this goddamn fruit that smells like shit a mile away. He's had enough of the "exotics" at the Castle Village markets. He doesn't want to try the durian, and to avoid arguing with the Farmer (because it's pointless, they won't get off his back) he quickly teleports home to Castle Village. Fuck you, and fuck your fruit.

Jadu:

Hmm? Sorry, Jadu was busy reading manuscripts and scrolls. Did the Farmer want somethi- Oh, spirits have mercy, what is that smell?! Jadu had tears in his eyes at the pungent stench. Wait, he knows what it is... durian, isn't it? No, don't even think about it, he doesn't want to be a part of the prank, he'll get in trouble, and anyway- Wait, why are they cutting up the fruit? Oh, the Farmer's just giving him a treat? Ahem, thank you. He's just getting hungry after a hard day's work, and a healthy sweet that tastes like ice cream is just what he needs.

Camilla:

Camilla is an all-powerful witch, talented, capricious, and with high standards - if she wants something, she'll get it (either someone will give it to her or she'll take it herself) whether it's the rarest artifact or an unusual delicacy. So it's no surprise that on the menu of the first witch of the Castle Village, she has durian ice cream for dessert. Unbearable odor? Oh dear, Camilla is a witch: a snap of the fingers and the raw fruit is replaced by a beautiful crystal dessert bowl filled with durian pulp and other sweets. C'mon, open your mouth and taste it. Good, isn't it? ;)

Alesia:

"And I thought that only the old man had a strange taste", Alesia thought with amusement about her one-eyed teacher, gratefully accepting the durian pulp as a gift from the Farmer. She remembered that even when the market stalls in the Castle Village were bursting with exotic fruits, Alesia didn't pay attention, eating modestly (her usual diet included everything she needed for her health). But variety is also good for her (thanks to the Farmer for giving her processed fruit instead of raw fruit with the infamous stench), so the sniper wouldn't refuse a tasty source of vitamins and potassium. Thanks again, friend in arms!

extremely curious what's ya stance on strixxie and striker himself nowadays!

Woooo boy! Well I've written an over 130.000 words fanfic on Strixxie and a sequel on the works plus a couple of smaller ones on the side so you can safely say I'm still very much OBSESSED with the pair!😍

I love all of the nemesis tropes they have in canon! Their antagonistic chemistry is top notch and I stan all flavors of enemies to lovers that have the potential to come with it! I love the mutual canon animosity and constantly challenging each other vibes that I can be delulu with and interpret as thick sexual tension!

Some darker problematic stuff is honestly still a big part of the appeal to me as much as mushy stuff could be depending on execution and aaaaaah I just adore ships that can have such range!

Plus it gives me stuff to grab onto in canon like Striker fucking drooling in their last encounter like hello???? And also of course Moxxie being a little badass and pulling that glorious uno reverse on him that had me weak fahscahfagafavavsfksfs!😫💞

As far as Striker goes he's still my fave character! But I do think the harvest moon festival had him at his peak and some elements got a bit messed up with Western Energy. They didn't completely ruin him tho. The only parts I couldn't stand were some jokes I thought really didn't work for him like that god-awful statue and a couple of random outbursts of anger I found ooc.

If they kept those away along with the questionable decision of having Stella call him off for that reason and him revealing all his cards as an assassin so publicly prior, honestly the rest I don't mind at all. The entire Stolas torture scene in a vacuum is absolutely flawless, along with the fight with M&M. Those were some good shit. Especially with Moxxie hehe😏 I really loved how they showed much of Striker's character via that fight, like being cunning and badass and reveling on the challenge. Very fun villain stuff to see!

And I enjoyed him in Oops even if the plot to bring him there was contrived. He was handled a lot better I think. Again excluding some questionable logic like why would Fizzarolli's performance ever distract everyone like that. But eh comedy is subjective and all.

Speaking of which I really hope the team up with Crimson wasn't an one off thing cause wooo boy is that plot point fascinating!!

Both of Moxxie's majorly thematically villains teaming up is just ripe for juicy drama. I am wishing for a follow up on that so badly!!!!

So yeah overall still love Striker a lot while choosing to ignore some elements of his character that the writers added and that annoyed me and that's the tea. Well that's my general experience with hellaverse in general anyways. Along with the pacing that messes some stuff up.

I can't wait to see him again! And more Strixxie scenes too!

Mei felt like she was in a movie, — really bad movie that she wouldn’t recommend anyone experiencing. As if she were a main character in a horror serial killer film, kidnapped at the back of a car or a van to an unknown location where she will be tortured… maybe beat up? Murdered? Used in anyway possible before her final death or moments.

So when the van wheels suddenly roll on the ground and rest calmly in the muddy soil, the van crawling in silence until two large doors from the van behind open revealing sunlight to crash Mei’s face.

The sight of a familiar face crashing in Mei, she’d scrunch up the anger fuelling in her bones, rushing out of the van with hands grabbing the collar of the basic white tee-shirt Mark wore.

The man calmly grasps the situation, with hands on the side holding Mei very leisurely as if he wasn’t threatened nor reacting with anger and wrath to kill. He was simply elevating the situation to simmer down. In her eyes, it made him look arrogantly calming. But Mei? She felt like she’s going mad!

“You!” Mei exclaims loudly with wide eyes watching Mark, the man’s response was a slight smirk in enjoyment at the sight. “Are you smiling? You’re insane, you kidnapped me! Do you realise what you’ve just done?” Mei lectures forward clenching the tee shirt, wrinkles on the white clothing.

Mark visible hums bringing the face down to Mei, she was much shorter than him and he only found the height difference less threatening. “Sweetheart, did you now just realise that I’m insane?”

He tells with such lingering condescends, riling up the doctor more when her eyes began to twitch in absolute hatred for the man. It was not his intention to make an enemy out of the person he fully feels interested in, but, he must say himself that he feels thrilled either way. As long as she’s in his hands everything’s cool in his book.

Mei’s lips fall in a thin line listening to those patronising comments, — the doctor not flinching a sight away from Mark. The two held the eye contact for more than a minute, her coffee brown pupils aching in his lifeless grey eyes that fell apart once a man walks towards them.

Chenle clearing his throat intentionally. He felt like he was interrupting a love quarrel already, gosh how he disagrees and finds this situation even more appalling!

“Ahem, sorry to break it to you both but— mind moving out the rain?” Chenle points out as the shower only starts to get heavier and heavier. Mei and Mark loosen the holds of each other, turning back to the man in front.

“Who the hell are you?” Mei points out with defence, Mark turning to chenle as he grabs a hold of Mei’s wrist. “Don’t worry about him.” Mark said, pulling Mei towards the building ahead.

The surroundings were almost like a farm land. Did they bring her to a farm? The house was something similar to a country side, it was most definitely away from the city considering the long ass ride it took to get here. Mei silently protested as she attempts to tug the wrist back from the man, but Mark being stubborn he kept a stern contact on the doctor.

“Where are you taking me?” The doctor questions. Silence came out of Mark. “Why did you bring me here?” Another silence was brought up. Mark threw Mei in a small room when entering the farm-ish house, he heard a yelp escape Mei’s lips. She reclaims back the balance running to escape out the door.

Slam.

But she were too late to escape, the door face hitting the forehead. Mei let’s out mourns of pain before glaring at the white shabby broken down door. “You fucker! Mark lee! This isn’t the end! You can kill me, torture me, but I will escape out of here!” Mei shouts with the fist repeating banging on the obstacle blocking her way from freedom.

The fists slowly slide down the door and so was her hope, voice dimming down until only a sigh comes out. Mei turns around to the room. It had a small bed an empty table and one window that was dirty and many cobwebs were decorating the room.

Mark hears the doctor calm down or so he assumed so when the angered voice went quiet. He could only shake his head at her large exclaims of how she’s going to get out of here, as if. He holds low expectations for the doctor. Even if she did run away from the house, where will she go? She’s in middle of nowhere.

Mark will find her no matter what if she did run away. But he knows the doctor won’t.

Chenle walks inside the house shaking off small droplets of rain on his body. The door closes and he soon looks at Mark questioning the man. “Where’s the doctor?”

Mark looks at the door motioning to it, Chenle quietly scoffing. His eyes slowly falter down to the running paw steps approaching Mark from behind and then running to Chenle.

“There you are Daegal!” Chenle picks the Miniature small fluffed up dog that curled in his hands as it were picked up. Mark eyes the dog with slight envy. “You replaced me with a dog?” Mark hawks in disgust.

Chenle hums in agreement. “Yes because my friend decided to get himself caught and then become the most wanted dangerous man in Korea.” The sarcasm hit Mark like a flat paper written on by ink. Mark giving the sting daggers to the Chinese boy who walks away with the dog, babying it.

Hours passed and you might be wondering what exactly is Mei doing in a half empty room in a farm house she was kidnapped to?

Well, she found something. Something good to her escape plan.

The farm house is seemingly around 150 years old or maybe even more than that considering the amount of moulding and easy breaking wood with just a prick of her finger strength; Mei found a loop hole with the large window. It already had a broken handle, she just had to keep punching it with the edge of her shoe she took off her right foot. Mei pants a little as she’s been doing this for hours now.

The lock soon loosened more when the impactful bottom concrete of the shoe heel hit roughly. Mei gasps mentally, panting heavily. “Fuck, finally.” the psychiatrist blurts, opening the window wide.

“Ahh, refreshing..this whole place is suffocating.” Mei says quietly, not wanting the two guys to find her escaping midway.

The breeze of the farm oxygen filling her lungs, felt alive and anxiety. Mei wants to survive and that is all she was consumed in. She won’t give up running away.

Mei might think Mark is a good person on the inside, that the boy is only a broken soul needing mending. But right now she views him as a threat, someone who is a criminal inside and out. Mei wouldn’t want to waste her last minutes living being next to the worldwide serial killer who has set code red around South Korea right now.
