Alan is in love with Mary AU

I can’t find the post right now but someone once suggested to me an AU where Alan is actually in love with Mary since the beginning.

Like in canon, Alan writes songs for the one he loves but in this AU, mary is his muse instead of Katarina.

The thing is that Mary and the rest of the harem believe that Alan is in love with Katarina but is dense to his own feelings (like in canon).

Katarina knows the truth and is always trying to help Alan since he’s still a tsundere. But everyone else mistakes things as Alan trying to court Katarina.

I don’t remember if this was in the original idea but Geordo knows about Alan’s feelings but no one else believes him, thinking that the third prince is just trying to remove two rivals.

October Fics Recs, Week 2

Week 2: fic that made you like a ship.

I’m just going to add the Hamefura fics because, unlike with the other fandoms I’m part of, I didn’t ship Hamefura characters until I started reading fanfiction.

My most favorite Hamefura ship is GeoKata, but I also like Polycule and Katarina/Everyone.

These fics either got me into the ships or I feel that they represented them perfectly. Unfortunately, there seems to be no stories with Raphael/Mary and Nicol/Frey that I like.

One of the first Hamefura fics that I read and the one that influenced my love for GeoKata.

Lemon Cakes and Late Confessions by ellanica

This one is kind of funny because Katarina is still oblivious to Geordo’s feelings despite being married to him with a child and another one on the way. Fortunately, Katarina becomes aware of his feelings at the end and reciprocates them.

The Sword Saint Chronicles by @sixthoctavarium

A nice series that’s filled with Katarina showing off her badass sword skills and slowly falling in love with Geordo.

Geokata Fluff by @dulcito-on-ao3

This series is mostly filled with one-shots though there are some multi-chapter fics. There’s not much drama, only fluff with Katarina and Geordo.

To Tell The Truth by @cyclaes 

A cute story that starts with Katarina admitting her feelings for Geordo and ends with their wedding. It has a lot of cute, funny, and a bit angsty bits in between.

Katarina becomes aware of her friends’ feelings for her because Raphael spilled the beans. Each following chapter is about Katarina going on a date with one of them and they are so cute. This one had potential to lead into polycule territory.

The last installment of the Mirrorverse series. After everything that they have gone through, Katarina decides to choose everyone.
