my week 3 oneshot for scrybruary has been up for a couple weeks now, and i'm overdue in posting about it! this one was for the theme "day in the life/mundane", so of course i wrote about death p03 taking magick leshy to the backrooms

The oneshot, Just Your Average Afternoon, is as you would expect quite a bit sillier than the two before it: Under an orange moon…Leshy is spending the afternoon at the dilapidated shopping center that serves as the Temple of P03, Scrybe of the Dead. When the possessed collection of decayed remains and analogue machinery shows Leshy a broken texture in the floor that leads to an infinite maze of yellowed rooms, the Scrybe of Magicks is equal parts shocked and intrigued. But perhaps, on a possibly haunted disk rife with sentient characters and poor programming, such a phenomenon isn't quite as unprecedented as one might assume.

jonathan crane with "bad memory" aka dissociative amnesia in this case because he is me and I am him

during times where he's mainly by himself he forgets about other people, he isn't around many people constantly, aside from the people that work for him. of which there are only few a handfuls.

that being said, it freaks him out when he finds things that aren't his own in his space after working with people. for example, ends of cigars, stray papers which are full of "not good enough" riddles, bird feathers of which aren't from his crows.

occasionally also, because it is business and he doesn't value money very highly, they'll leave him gifts. usually they're for his birds because that's much easier to buy for.

his girls (a term he uses for his crows affectionately) get shiny things from riddler, general care from penguin and so on. the only people that actually give him things are two-face. most of the time it could be seen as just forgetting his things but crane has asked before and, he means to leave them.

little bottles of alcohol, which he finds confusing because everyone knows he doesn't drink. sometimes old horror movies and very rarely sterling silver rings and chain necklaces which he isn't really sure what to do with.

little things, all over the place that remind him that he isn't by himself in the world, which can be grounding if not a little scary at times, even if he tells himself he doesn't get scared, being aware you're alive can be very unsettling.

I wonder if Ralsei will leave at the end of Deltarune to venture into foreign dark worlds Lillie Pokémon Sun and Moon Style.

I mean, his arc is about learning to be his own individual, so venturing somewhere without having to be a guide or Part of a profecy could make sense?

Also it would be very funny because of all the "Ralsei just makes us collect darkners so he can have subjects" with sometimes the added "because he's EVIL!!!!!!" theories.

i'm making myself laugh thinking about this but I wholeheartedly believe madame morrible absolutely HATES the thought of glinda and elphaba being together like the mere mention of gelphie would probably send her into immediate cardiac arrest and it's not even because she's homophobic or anything I just fully believe she dislikes glinda so so much she's just like this is absolutely NOT happening in my house.
