I think your fight against anti-transmasculinity/anti-transandrophobia and how queer spaces paint masculinity as inherently evil, your posts have actually opened my eyes to alot of what transmascs go thorugh. I don't mean this as a call out or nor do I mean to sparkle an internet argument and I hope my worries aren't downplayed, but I think it is necessary to address certain things and we transfems and transmascs should have eachother's interests in mind.

I absolutely understand why you are worried about that post, but that screenshot was taken to specifically cut out the rest of the post & remove all context from what he was saying.

Here is the link to the actual post. Conveniently, the person who took that screenshot cut out the literal next sentence, which is "we all, regardless of agab, grow up exposed to sexism and misogyny, and we’re all affected by it in one way or another."

The reason he is specific about transfems is because he is responding to some tags which say that all "afabs" (referring to trans men talking about their experiences with misogyny) are biologically "smug" and "insufferable" & how he has seen transfemmes use bioessentialism towards other trans people in ways which are blatantly misogynistic, and hiding behind the defense that they themselves are women. The final paragraph of the post is this:

"i’ve said it before and i’ll say it again: trans people who were assigned male at birth are not somehow inherently more capable of sexism than people who were assigned female at birth. everyone is capable of sexism. but they are also not exempt from perpetuating sexism and misogyny just because they are trans, and they have just as much of a responsibility to unlearn it as the rest of us do. do not use being trans as a shield from consequences when you say things that uphold oppressive systems."

The post you linked isn't just reading between the lines, they specifically cut off all context and put words in his mouth about "dangerous male socialization" that he actively clarifies he disagrees with in the post itself. He never says anything about transfems reacting the same way cis men do, or being socialized male or having male brains or being dangerous to be around. He is very clear that this is a universal problem to all people, and all trans people, and everyone needs to be active in unlearning misogyny because it is taught to everyone.

I don't blame you at all for being concerned about this, but the linked OP is actively warping the truth to justify the argument that belief in transandrophobia existing is inherenty anti-transfem.

So, I've wanted to make a post like this for some time, but I only just got the motivation because of an ask I got recently. I want to give a piece of advice to everyone, in general, to keep in mind when using any social media platform--advice that I wish someone had given me way back when, that I feel is important to pass on:

Not every post you see is for you. Not every post is about you.

This is not meant to be a negative thing, or a put-down! It is not meant to dismiss anyone. It's really what it says on the tin: When you see a post cross your feed, and you disagree with the post or it upsets you because you disagree with the message it has, try and keep in mind that you may not be the target audience for the post. In particular, take this into account for advice and positivity posts--The OP doesn't have anything against you personally when they share words that are meant to be uplifting that you don't agree with. A post that says "Keep going! You can do it, even if you think you can't!" probably isn't meant to put down people who are in a position where they very literally cannot do it or think their way out of their situations. Like this post, it's more likely that the OP is sharing positivity or advice that they themselves would have liked to hear.

Even this post, the one I'm writing now, might not be for you or about you! If you disagree with my viewpoint, that's okay, and there's nothing wrong with that! But I, personally, am writing this post for people who might need to hear it--people like me, who are easily upset or hurt by things they see or hear in passing, whether on the internet or real life. I'm not writing it because I want to spark an argument, I promise.

Posts aren't always meant to spread outside the OP's original circle of followers and friends. But that's a hazard of posting to public social media websites--a joke originally meant to have an audience of 12 people close to you can suddenly explode, getting thousands and thousands of views and reposts and going completely out of the OP's control overnight! It's no one's fault; it's not done maliciously. Sometimes a post or joke just resonates with others. But maybe it doesn't resonate with you--that really is okay! Just try and remember, if it gets under your skin, that it isn't for you. And if it's not for you, it's okay to just ignore it and move on! It can definitely get annoying when it's something you keep seeing over and over from friends and acquaintances reposting it, and I'd never fault anyone for losing their temper over it--but sometimes, just taking a second to remind yourself that you weren't the audience for something can really help calm you down and help you feel better and move on with your day.

While this goes for advice/positivity posts, it also goes for opinion posts! And in this case, to be completely, perfectly clear: I mean harmless opinions. A ship they like that you don't; a tv show they enjoyed that you didn't; a character they really love that you absolutely cannot stand. The kind of opinion you disagree with so much that makes you feel absolutely steaming mad. (Again: This does NOT extend to these things when they go into a genuinely harmful category. No homophobia, no pedophilia, nothing like that. I am talking about harmless, mundane disagreements.)

Maybe you see a post talking positively about a manga that makes you feel ick. The OP more than likely didn't write that post with the hopes that it would reach you specifically just to make you upset! (And if they did, that's rude, and an entirely different can of worms that this post is not about! >_>;) But the post upsets you anyway, even if it wasn't MEANT to. It's understandable, it happens! But the thing is: You don't need to engage with that post if it makes you feel bad! If you have a post blocker, you can block the post or blacklist the tag; if you don't, you may just have to scroll past. It can be so, so, so tempting to try and get in a biting comment in the replies to snap at the OP and tell them, "No, you're wrong, your opinion makes me mad and I don't want to hear it!" Trust me. I know. I get it, because I've been there! But in the grand scheme of things, it's not worth it or healthy to burn yourself out over it. It wasn't for you, and it wasn't about you! And you're better off doing what you can to take care of yourself, and preserving your health and happiness where you can.

I feel like I'm writing this with sort of childish language, and it might feel like I'm talking down to others. But really, I think I'm just writing it in a way that a younger me would have understood and taken to heart if she'd seen it. I hope that, if you read this, you can see it that way too! There's a part of me that feels scared that this post in itself could explode with notes that will be very upset with me for my thoughts on this, whatever their reasons may be, but I wouldn't be making it if I weren't prepared for that possibility. If the message I intend to get out can reach even one person who it can help, then I think that's worth writing it for. Because, I want to reiterate it one more time, because it can be so easy to forget it and get yourself furious in a self-destructive way, sometimes you have to remember:

I was tagged by @pomegranate-jewitchery, who made the original post! Thank you! Fair warning, I think you tagged me because you expected me to be a jewish witch, which I am not. I have Sephardic ancestry, but I am not and have never been culturally or religiously jewish. Sorry for any confusion and I hope you don't mind me still participating!

How long have you been practicing? Hard to say! I grew up Catholic and very engaged with my culture, but not actively aware of any non-Christian traditions. In my early teens I rejected Catholicism and started engaging with folk magic and Germanic paganism, and that's what I've been doing since (with the necessary growth and adjustments)!

How would you describe your practice? Not as witchcraft, ironically. I consider myself a tovenares, which translates more or less to a feminine practitioner of usually benign magic. I'm also a Germanic pagan and Óðinn/Wotan devotee. My craft mostly consists of local spirit work, herbalism/healing, hearthcraft, art magic and divination!

What tools do you use in your practice? Because my practice is my life and my life is my practice, really I use everything around me for my craft. But my favorite tools are my bullroarer, cauldron, whisks, divination cards and art supplies. I also, of course, use many herbs.

What kind of divination is your go to? Omen reading! But when I have more pressing questions, I usually do trance divination or card divination. Or, sometimes, traditional forms of divination using organic material!

Where do you think your practice falls on the low energy to high energy scale? Low energy, realistically. Folk magic is so integral to one's life that it only rarely requires a lot of energy. But, when it comes to my craft as a seer and tovenares, it's more high energy! That's just rarer, as I do not have a community to serve at present.

What are your favorite resource(s) in witchcraft? (books, youtube, podcast, etc.) I collect books and they are definitely my primary sources! My favorite authors are Jozef Haver, J.R.W. Sinninghe, H.R. Ellis Davidson, and Marcel Cleene! I spend a lot of time on archive.org as well lmao!

How cycle oriented is your practice? The cyclical nature of everything is at the heart of my craft! Both as an Orthodox Christian, as a Germanic pagan, and as a practitioner of magic I center cycles in everything.

How does nature play a role in your practice if at all? If cycles are the heart nature is the blood, lol. My practice cannot exist without nature. Everything I do is in accordance with my local nature!

What is your witchcraft hot take? I have too many to count. One that's been on my mind lately is that it is not frequently talked about that eclecticism and 'deity collecting' lends itself extremely strongly to (mis)appropriation!

Every time I see a post that equates pro-shipping or difficult, problematic themes in (fan) fiction and books and other stories with actual, real-life SA or whatever the topic is, I automatically assume that the OP lacks critical thinking skills and media literacy, fell for the dangerous Puritan movement that's sort of going on in the US (and other countries, too) right now and is likely 14 y/o (or at least mentally stuck at that age) and simply jumped up on that dangerous bandwagon of wanted censorship.

I could write a damn essay on why equating the “experiences” of fictional (read it again: fictional aka NON-EXISTENT characters) with the trauma and experiences of real-life people is incredibly harmful and hurtful.

To somehow put the plot of a story on the same level as what actual victims went through under the guise of "omg you write/read something like that, so you must support this" is so disrespectful, on so many levels. To everyone affected.

(for example: in my story, I wrote about a 4 y/o girl that got kidnapped by child-traffickers. Does not mean that I a) condone that shit in any way shape or form in the real world and b) am a kidnapper and/or child trafficker myself...? I don't even know why this needs to be clarified?)

Only because some people don't like something that does!not!actually!harm! a real-life person, doesn't mean that that thing should be forbidden or censored. This is so, so incredibly dangerous. I feel like we have learned nothing from history. How about we just start burning books again? That worked out amazingly in the past and wasn't a catalyst for any big issues at all, right?

Assuming stuff is properly tagged, it's your own responsibility for what you consume online. If you are under 18, this applies too. A lot of authors feel uncomfortable to sharing their work with minors, which is completely fine, and they are in the right to do that. If you still continue to read a story (or in the case of AO3, click "accept" when the warning pops up that a story might include adult themes (graphic description of violence, sex, language, whatever, really): then it is on the minor (or the parents who didn't oversee their child's internet activity). Authors are not their parents or guardians. If minors have unrestricted access to the internet (which I am not sure they should have, at least not when you're 12 or something, but then again: I'm no one's parent), then all you can do is learn by experience. You lie and pretend you're older than you are? You click "understand" and read a story that involves adult themes?

If you do all that, despite the site's warning or the author's warning, then you do not get to complain that the story is intended for people who are older than you, have more media literacy and critical thinking skills to be able to differentiate between fiction and real life or the fact that the story contains adult themes — as it was tagged. WHATEVER adult themes are included.

Trying to censor stuff or illegalize things only because YOU subjectively think they are wrong or immoral or whatever opens the door to a lot of dangerous effects that we, in a civilized society, had to work hard to bounce back from in the past — historically speaking.

Some countries still have major restrictions and censorship of stories, books, and whole websites (that do not harm people) and it was often possible to implement such laws and censorships because it was argued (in the beginning) that it was for the protection of young people or because all porn is inherently bad or stuff like that. Then, it opens the doorway to a lot of other censorship, and then it's too late or very, very hard to reverse.

Idk, there are just so many things wrong with the notion of "anti-shipping" or "I wanna censor shit you read/write because I don't like it/think it's immoral" and, personally, it just rubs me the wrong way.

God, I can already feel people starting a discussion or blocking me or unfollowing me or whatever. And you know what's the beauty of it? You can do that — because we, luckily, have the power and responsibility to be in charge of what content we actively consume online. :)

P.S. I shouldn't have to say this, but obviously (as stated) my take on all of this only applies to fictional characters. Writing SA stories on real, existing people (celebrities or not) is not okay.

Hi! Do you mind me asking how writblr works? I am new to tumblr and writblr.

Hey Love, thanks for the ask! And welcome to this little part of the internet.

I know there are detailed posts out there on this but I haven't been able to find them (if anyone has one, please feel free to link it!)

Writeblr is a community on Tumblr focused on writing. Most people I interact with are writing novels (as am I), but there are definitely people writing poetry and short stories and comics. Anyone who thinks themselves a writer can have a writing blog, even if we are not actively writing (me again).

Writeblr works best when you are interacting with other community members. This can be done in lots of different ways.

You can use the dash - liking, commenting and reblogging are all ways of interacting with other writeblrs. Liking won't create further interaction or spread a post but it does say you were there, and you enjoyed yourself; a comment allows you to interact with the op (original poster) and other users without spreading the post, and a reblog puts the post on your blog and the dash of your followers. You can use tags to talk if you don't want to add to the post or you can leave your thoughts in text for anyone who reblogs from you to have on their blog.

You've figured out asks already - these are a great way to publicly interact with other writeblrs.

You may encounter ask games: a post of a list of questions with symbols or numbers, usually related to writing or the users writeblr. You can send these questions to the blog who reblogged them to find out more about them or their WIP. The etiquette around these posts is that, if you reblog one, you send an ask to the user you reblogged it from. You can also send asks to anyone who reblogs it from you, to help everyone who wants an ask is getting at least one.

Then there are tag games. When you get tagged in a tag game go and read the rules on the post and read OPs post while you are there. Then create an original post following said rules. Tag the person who tagged you at the top of the post, and then tag people to nominate them to play at the bottom. Sometimes the game has a number of people you should tag, other times it's up to you. I like to tag 3 people I've interacted with recently.

You do not have to play if you've been tagged. No one will harass you over it. Writeblr should be fun for you. There is no algorithm - you create your own experience here, so if you don't like someone, unfollow or block. Those buttons are there for a reason.

So you have a blog, you've followed a few people, you've reblogged some great posts. Might be time to tell us you're here and what you are interested in!

Enter Intro Posts.

There are two main kinds of intro post:

one that tells us who you are and what you like, what you are working on and what you like to write.

Then there is the WIP (work in progress) intro post that tells us about what you are writing, the characters and themes, why we should be interested.

Both posts are useful for finding your tribe on writeblr. To find new blogs and wips, or to look at different examples of what you can do you can search for "Wip into" and "writeblr intro". There are more tags but these terms will get you started.

The main thing to remember is that this is a community. If you want interaction and for people to care about what you are working on you have to put it out there first. Interact in the ways you want to see in your notes.

If anyone is wondering why I haven't updated, there are a number of reasons. However, a major one is that Crunchyroll will no longer allow you to use old versions of the app. What this means is I am no longer able to take screenshots of record small scenes so I can transcribe them or basically do most of what I do here.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with this blog, I am a broke ass bitch with a chronic, genetic kidney diseases I had the pleasure of being born with, which severely limits me in a number of ways. One such way is money: medical bills at expensive and even with insurance I owe something like $1,462.78 and that's just the past year. Nevermind the bills I collected from other hospitals/doctors. The result is I live a pretty simply life, including the fact that I don't own any sort of fancy recording equipment like "a pc". Every screenshot, every gif, every artistic and not so artistic edit, every video recording, every single post and fanfic and reply, that is all done from my phone. It's my one and only portal to the Internet and sole tool to do whatever is is I do.

With that in mind, while I am proud I managed to take my degree in English Literary Theory and learn how to do all of that on an older model Android I've had for a few years now, I also know that then bulk of internet denizens are just WAY more skilled/knowledge at this then I will ever be.

Keep in mind, I have no money (so advice along the lines of "just buy this $99 program, it's so easy!" or "why not just get a cheap laptop, you can get one for under $600 EASY these days" or even "you just need a monthly subscription to this OTHER streaming site, that doesn't have a film blocker" just doesn't help, especially since I don't even have my own subscription to CR so there is no just dropping that to pay for another.) I was hoping someone out there knew a method I could use to record the "latest" episodes.

I say latest but I left off at 1078. I know, I'm ages behind, but there is a good reason for it.

Please, anyone who knows how I can take screencaps (recordings would be useful but not required) PLEASE contact me and let me in on your secret.

I won't tattle, I swear. I just want to be able to watch the show and react about it on this blog since, sadly, I've recently lost all my OP watching buddies to various life circumstances.

Failing that, I need someone to agree to watch every single episode along with me as my "recorder", recording long swatches of each episode and then sending to me when we're done so I can get my screencaps and gifs and the likes. The good news? OP, I hope you understand that you have unleashed a monster considering how many BSD fics I consumed. But that said, I'll try to keep it short and strictly gen for this ask, then just reblog with the rest (some do have implied ships, though). Most of them are just fluff and one-shots. As well as syringe's post which even lists Tobias Forge's opinions, which OP said the papas were 'his super secret fight club level identity' which if it were true, he wouldn't be accepting Ghost band awards as himself nor with his family, nor openly interviewing about it... If it was so secret...

Tobias has even been open about other characters of his (such as Mary Goore, as mentioned per an interview) used they/them pronouns even if not INHERENTLY trans or non-binary.

He's always been openly accepting of people regardless of their gender or sexuality (this isn't to idolize him, just stating my knowledge of his values.)

My last point to op?? Here's what those "trans" people think about mine and other works.

I know i have more personal conversations with people where we have discussed how validating it can be for trans and non-binary people to write, read, explore these characters.

A reminder. Tags exist. Read the fucking tags on a fic, chances are the author wrote trans!dewdrop or "usage of cunt" in the tags or notes, and if they didn't?? It takes 3 seconds to comment "could you please add a trans character content tag please?"

As an artist myself, who originally stuck to the "stage representations of the characters" i the slowly started exploring the way i perceive their stories, how i can make MY OWN ART out of these characters that relates TO ME and MY FEELINGS and likes and opinions and such because THAT is what creativity is about. Taking what the world gives you and making it your own.

I am not trans, i am barely even nonbinary... Labels are scary, half the time i don't know who i am okay? I don't always feel like a girl, i don't always hate my body, sometimes i feel like if i live in this body for just a second longer I'll have to scratch all the skin off and crawl out of it myself... Sometimes i wish i could bind, be flat, have a deeper voice, be more masculine, sometimes i want to wear skirts that are way too short and the pretty corset from renfaire that makes my chest look so puffy and pretty... Sometimes it's nobody's fucking business... And sometimes my characters reflect what i am, what i wanna be, what i am not, and what i may never be. And just like my gender and my body?? It's nobody's fucking business.

In all my niceness and honesty. (Which are starting to run lower every time people say stupid shit in this fandom...)

As someone who grew up going to an All-girls Catholic private school, as my whole family before me had done, here's a little bit of insight.

All the shit they told you?? Yeah it causes trauma, it causes resentment and repression. Feeling disgusted and surprised when this "male character" has "female" genitals? Please ask yourself how you feel about your body first. Your mind. Why do you want to read "gay/bi men doing those activities" but not a trans man enjoying himself just as much? Would it be different if if were a ghoulette? Would it be different if the ghoulettes were the ones doing it?

OP please evaluate yourself before you OPENLY SPEAK for a community that you are not a part of, and if you ever do decide to explore your own repression, sexuality, and gender? Know that you deserve a chance at fucking up and learning about yourself. I say this from personal experiences. Making catholic school your whole personality internalizes that "sinful" feeling. That's probably why you enjoy ghost too... Not to psychoanalyze a random person on the internet but...

First of all, thank you for everything you do for the fandom. I always love your screenshots + meaningful text combinations, they are so good! Thanks to you I have also added some new amazing songs to my playlists (Dark Horse and Anti-hero included).

I have a question and a song to share. First goes the question: do you happen to know any, just ANY tdp fanfiction which explores the what-if scenario where team Zym loses the Battle of the Storm Spire? If not, it would be great if you shared your own thoughts about it. Like, what if Viren & Aaravos succeeded in draining power from Zym? What would happen then? I tried to find something on Ao3 but all I got was a couple of works focused entirely on Viravos or something about reincarnation. Which is fine but not exactly what I am looking for.

I'd also like to share a song with you. It's Storm by Blackmore's Night. As the title suggests, it's about the storm and I've been fascinated with this song for a few years now. Maybe you'll like it too :)

Aww thank you so much, that is so sweet!! I can't think of any fics or headcanon posts I've seen like that along those regards, but I do have a tag for canon divergences in general and one for my specific explorations.

I think the biggest thing to consider would be if Zym was successfully killed or not.

1. Zym lives

This means the kids can potentially, if frantically, flee, with Janai and Amaya and any other surviving Sunfire elves being captured. Soren and co. could go looking for other archdragons (I'm sure Rayla would've heard of Rex Igneous) or Earthblood allies who would either worry about the encroaching invasion and/or recognize Zym as the future heir and advocate for his sovereignty. The biggest change here is that Lux Aurea is like, even more devastated, and I could see Janai being executed bc she's the next heir, but who knows

Kids come back six months later with an Earthblood army (also don't think the monster-humans would survive or thrive well long term, so that depletion could be over time) but it may not even matter, depending on what Aaravos' endgame (release?) was for harvesting Zym in the first place

2. Zym dies

This one is trickier, as it leaves us with a very heartbroken Ezran (the mind/soul link so recently formed and so brutally severed) and with no draconic heir. As long as Zym was alive, the kids would have hope, so with him gone I think they'd be very dejected (and of course, grieving their friend). I could see Ezran falling into a depression of sorts, just because he'd probably blame himself for his handling of the kingdom's troops, and he was the closest to Zym. Callum would delegate more time/thought to his brother as a result, leaving Soren and Rayla to maybe bond a bit more in terms of leading the group and figuring out what to do next, bound by the goal of keeping the remaining princes alive until they can figure out a plan. (Callum would also probably get his hands on a dark magic book, Just In Case, because I don't think he'd been willing to hold anything back now that he and particularly Ezran are Viren + Aaravos' #1 targets, in terms of eliminating any kind of uprising).

I could see Rayla bringing everyone back to the Silvergrove, as it is cloaked by illusions, and they can still interact with objects even if no one can see them, so it's kind of the perfect place to hide. Then maybe Callum and Rayla would go look for again, arch dragons or possible reinforcements, leaving Soren to look after Ezran when they'd do reconnaissance, since Rayla is their Xadian guide and Callum doesn't want her to go alone

This would probably be more of a slow build, and I could see them travelling to Duren as well (which, I suppose Aanya would be captured and executed for treason against the Pentarchy, just because Viren could - although I could see Claudia feeling bad/awkward about executing a girl who's not much younger than herself? Unexpected imprisoned Aanya and sympathetic conflicted Claudia bonding? Opeli gets executed, hopefully Corvus escapes). But yeah, two years before they can come back and take the throne, and I could see Callum and Rayla both becoming a bit more cut throat because they've had two years of like, protecting Ezran at the forefront, and surviving in the wild long term when you're hunted fugitives is just a different kind of experience. Ezran, because of their sheltering, remains just as kind, but he's much much Sadder in his day to day presentation, and that never entirely goes away

Depending on whether the Illusion stabbing happened - and let's just say that it didn't - I could see Claudia trying to reach out to and track down Soren, convinced she can get him to come home now that 'his side lost' and 'there's nothing left for him there anymore, can you get over your identity crisis and come home'. So I feel like Soren would actually probably be Angrier at Claudia in his scenario here than he is in canon, just because he sees more of the long lasting destruction and doesn't have victory to make him worried about his sister

Feel free to send in other asks and thoughts about this lil scenario (either one), it's definitely an interesting one to consider! Or any other canon divergences, really - I have a tiny list of ones I know I want to write drabbles for at the very least

this is such a good tag, it makes me think of the general air of uncertainity that surrounded jay in his robin days, and his deep regard for dick as the first robin... and also there's this underlining notion that both jay and dick have to grow into brotherhood.

i want to coin my tag to be reflective of some aspects of their relationship/parallels that i ruminate about a lot, namely

1. their temperaments being opposite to each other; they come into vigilantism with two radically different motives (dick – personal vengeance, jay – the strong sense of duty) and somehow, ironically, they end up on the other side of the axis (dick – with his strong morals and finding the way to cope with grief/anger, jay – crossing the lines and letting himself be consumed by grief)... something about characters who start out ruthless growing into heroism, and characters who are inherently kind and naturally merciful descending into moral failure.

2. the fact that dick is the only one who seems to have preserved jason's memory properly, and thus the only one who would be able to look at him and try to find the remnants of whom jay used to be (which jay is actively reburying each day.) the only one who has the potential to see jay in his entirety, who recalls him at his best and now is confronted with him at his worst.

To that recent Anon who was berating you about what is posted on this Blog. Umm hello? Reality check please! Thomas is a grown man and can defend himself if he so See's fit. It is also NOT this Blogs job to cater to your personal preferences/opinions! They specifically Tag their post's so that people like you can block and filter it out. Don't like it? Then Block the tag and Ignore it/move on please.

We do understand Anon how much you admire Thomas and think you need to be his White Knight. But he didn't ask you to speak for him and the fact that you felt the need to be so aggressive and Shame/Bully this Blog would honestly upset him more than just some frustrated people.

OP I hope you are doing well and remember that you did nothing wrong. This is your Blog and you should feel free and comfortable to post whatever you want on it. The fact that people trust you enough and feel safe enough here to air out their Frustrations is something to be proud of! You aren't encouraging Negativity or Hate towards Thomas but allowing us to speak our minds and see we aren't alone with what we are feeling.

i can lose sight of what i say and phrase things in a mean way or complain about things that i have no right to complain about or make assumptions about thomas’s life and work that i shouldn’t do. i make mistakes we all do. you can let me know if i said something mean and i’ll apologize and try to do better. but if i’m being unfair then that’s my mistake in my own thinking and doesn’t go much further than that. it won’t destroy thomas, he’s not a child and he can take care of himself.

I generally struggle with writing flash fiction, so I copied the way you structured and paced your story. (I quite literally sat there and read paragraph by paragraph what sort of content it had and translated it over to my story lmao.) I studied some of the methods you used to describe things which really brought out the emotion I felt when I read orange slices. I wanted to duplicate the aesthetic your piece had, however, I found that because it was written in Hank's voice, it didn't have such an impact when I changed the voice to PM700. Anyway I'm typing a lot bc I'm nervous sending you this I hope you don't hate me for using your work as a guide HAHAHA

But yeah, you don't have to read my thing, I just wanted to let you know that it exists and that you directly helped me structure it <3
