honestly, even if you are the closest person to him in hell; within the first year of your qpr relationship, i dont think he would change in mannerisms that much around you, even when out of wandering eyes. he will have that smile on all the time; and wont favor showing emotions, with few exceptions. dont take it to heart, that is just the way he is most comfortable!

he will change however, in the way that he goes out of his way to help you without asking for anything in exchange. opening doors for you, pulling back your seat so you dont have to; all that jazz. very big on acts of service.

back from running some errands for charlie, you approach the hotel doors with hands full with bags, a slump in your step.

rosie would LOVE you. and i mean it. she would be ecstatic that alastor found someone like him. you would get invited to a lot of hang outs with her! sometimes with alastor, sometimes with just you. if you are a little bit of fashionista she would love to go to clothing shopping with you, helping you choose what fits you better; if that specific piece is too extra... all that! or you could just have tea and sweets, and talk about your interests together.

he is very good at reading you, especially through your smile and laughs. definitely can tell when your laugh is forced or not in conversations very well. that is mostly how he reads the situation and gets you out of it (maybe in more alastors ways than not, if he doesn't like the person youre talking with) if he senses you are uncomfortable. what is a surprise to him is how you would also be able to read him and his smiles within time.

i dont know if he would tell you about the deal he made at all. he would probably avoid it as much as he could. it is a weakness of his that he would rather not be reminded of, and he would just not want you to know about it. if you ever found out about it, and decide to ask about it; while i dont think he would snap at you like he did with husk in the show, it would still create tension between you along with him avoiding to answer.

how much sincerity he shows to you would be very dependent on for how long youve been his partner. yes, you may be able to read him a little better within time, but that is no feat with how many secrets he probably holds. i still think it would take a year or so before he starts showing sincerity, although subtle and would do so seldomly. it would take maybe a decade until he would be comfortable enough to be fully transparent with you. but, oh would it be worth it.

overall, i love him very much your honour. he is the guy ever and would be a very charming and fun partner if you ignore the murder and crypticism!!!!

hey i randomly logged into this account today and saw this and sort of wanted to give an update :)

the last year and a half ish i think has been good and bad. i started college, i got my first real job, i got my drivers license, and i got my first semester with straight a's since like middle school! but also ive had a couple more major traumas, had a major loss, had issues with hoarding, had an alcohol problem for a while (pretty much okay with it now though), where i live is getting very dangerous for trans people, and my physical health has kind of tanked. also i realized i was a lesbian! i almost forgot that one lol

one of those major traumas (losing someone i was very close to in front of me) just kind of changed me. it was like how the psych ward i was in killed a part of me. i just dont feel like that same person anymore because she was in my life since i was a baby and i dont think that same me can exist in a world without her. that was about a year ago and im okay but its still really hard.

im in a lot better of a place now though. im actually still living with abusive family that im totally financially dependent on, but tomorrow im getting my car put in my name and this weekend im doing a doggy date for a dog shelter with a very old pitbull and i have friends and im learning to work on cars. i still very much am a lot better off than i was the last time i posted here.

also i sort of found religion? its weird but thats been a really major part of my life lately. i call myself christian adjacent because i believe in jesus and everything but i dont agree with literally any conservative christian belief. God loves queer people, abortion is a right, other religions should be respected and christians are privileged in the west (myself included), hell doesnt exist, refugees and immigrants should be welcomed with open arms, etc. i mostly align myself with quakers. thats been a really big thing with trauma and im so much better at coping and having healthy behaviors now because of it.

i did quit therapy and im pretty strongly anti the institution of psychiatry. @/trans-axolotl has a lot of posts on it and i dont want to get too into it here. basically therapy and meds arent inherently bad and should be much more accessible and many people benefit from and need them, but not everyone does and stripping autonomy away from mentally ill people is bad.

so yeah. im sort of okay. some things are worse and some things are better. and if anyone is still following this blog i hope yall are doing well. i probably wont ever come back, i dont really find this blog helpful anymore, but ill keep it up for now just in case.

16: If you could change anything in the show, what would you change?

okay so how i would re-do CANON is completely different from how i would talk abt a reboot so im gonna touch on a couple things in both contexts! the reason for the difference is canon rewrites imply i can go back in time and introduce dp fresh and new, before anyone knows what it is; but for a reboot, id be working with an audience that has a better understanding of the source material, so i dont need to spend as much time explaining, but i also need to keep everything recognizable

REWRITE: i would def make it more danny's fault that her dad lost his job, like danny was intentionally being reckless and shattered some security stuff, and he has a whole mini lesson about learning to not just run in guns blazing. i would probably remove the dating stuff with her and danny (and tuckers crush) too, I think them wanting to be good friends is good enough for freshman year

REBOOT: the fandom already knows valerie exists, so i would actually skip the whole shades-of-gray introductory episode and have her be present as the huntress from day 1-- probably even before danny got his powers. cujo is also HER dog, and her backstory-- we'd find out in like, season 1, that a natural ghost portal (maybe one wulf opened) ripped open on her dog and killed him, and since then shes had a vendetta against ghosts cause of how reckless they are and their disregard for life-- of course, cujo isnt actually dead. cujo is a halfa. a puby halfa. anyway instead of a hoverboard she actually rides cujo around cause he can fly and its big and epic. valerie has BEEN amity parks ghost-eradicating superhero for at least a year (tho shes been in the shadows abt it) and her hatred towards danny actually just becomes really petty, like them flying next to each other chasing skulker just going "I got this. no I got this. no I got this" and they just get in each others' way and its a mutual grudge.

BOTH: i am NOT keeping in vlad giving her the suit to watch danny under any circumstances. it was only utilized half assedly in canon (when vlad couldve just had an invisible duplicate watching him instead) anyway, and I dont have any reason to keep it in a reboot either. instead i want her tech to be a combination of half-stolen and half-gerryrigged stuff and she slowly slowly learns how to build her own.

I also dont want anyone knowing her secret identity, except maybe her dad, and sam or tucker. i think it works better if danny isnt privy to this magic info

Freakshow

REWRITE: i would honestly just remove him. the episodes hes in arent particularly interesting, theyre just generic "we need a plot about x" filler and he's not compelling enough a character (at least in writing) to carry a better plot that another antagonist couldnt. i'm serious

REBOOT: unfortunately in a reboot he's gonna have to pop up somewhere or else ppl will be like "where IS HE" so I'm going to stick with running some kind of ghost circus, maybe a few occult things, but cut out a lot of the spooky magical knowledge and mcguffin stuff. maybe i could make him like, someone from vlad/jack/maddies college who always felt pushed around by them and so he has a vendetta? and theyd be the only reason he even learned abt ghosts in the first place. idk in either way I want to force him into being irredeemable but also include LYDIA (the tattoo girl ghost) way more-- I want to give her an arc that ends in her tossing freakshow aside and running off to be a ghost vigilante.

BOTH: dear god the infinity gauntlet is stupid that needs to GO AWAY. especially for the reboot cause it would exist in a post-mcu world and way too many people would complain about it

REWRITE: amp him up to a far more sinister and villainous character. the crushing on maddie isnt enough, I want to show him on-screen performing experiments on ghosts and himself, dismissing everyone else cause he thinks hes smarter than them. i want him to be actively sabotaging the fentons at every turn. i would also clarify that he doesnt actually want danny as a son, but as a trophy-- a line where danny says something along the lines of "you don't want a son. you want a slave". i want to make him a character who wants to destroy the entire planet and put it in the ghost zone so he can be the true ghost king and i want to make this all evident from day one. if i'm writing a series villain you can bet i'm going to write a GOOD one. less petty drama here and more actual stakes.

REBOOT: it seems silly but sense with reboot we have the benefit of hindsight and recognizing that vlad wasn't a big series villain, theres no way i'd actually go back and write him to be such. for starters, of course, theres the fact that anything he does would really be an exaggerated part of the original, and it would bore an audience to see the same story again-- theres also the fact that it doesnt seem right to take a character who was treated as a joke half the time and suddenly make them big and important. no, instead for my reboot i want to lean into the petty gay uncle vibe. he had a crush on jack and now just casually insults him. he moves mansions every now and again by just haunting the family who lives in the one he wants, and taking over-- i mean, who is gonna believe that an actual ghost haunted you. he dislikes danny not because he has some concept of 'evil' and 'good' but bc danny is just too damn active. of course he actually does care about danny and his safety deep down, it's just on the surface they have very conflicting motivations-- not to mention that danny has been raised on legends from his parents of the villainous Wisconsin Ghost, who has to be stopped at all costs.

BOTH: i want jack and maddie to KNOW he's a half ghost and to actively be hunting him down for it, maybe bc they think hes possessed, or been a ghost tricking them this whole time, or the victim of a tragic lab accident who needs to be put to rest, etc. whatever the case it will give vlad actual tangible reason to despise them and genuinely suspect they dont have dannys best interests at heart. i think it would be neat if vlad was cynical and every time danny hit him with the "I'll expose us both. at least theyll still love ME" vlad could be like in the back of his head "oh god theyre going to kill this child"

I don't know if our opinions align on this one though. But I'll try to answer this for the sake of science (lol).

Anyways, kidding aside, let's proceed.

But to those who are confused, I think it was Sonyeonshin’s previous reincarnation that Myul Mang actually cried on because of this scene:

So, I really don't think Myul Mang hated Sonyeonshin. They probably have a parent-son relationship; as we can see in the whole series, even if he is angry or annoyed with Sonyeonshin and her antics, he keeps on coming back to her. It's just like a son, even how annoyed he is to his mother, will always come back to her arms at the end of the day.

So before we star, let us set the scene:

Regarding as to why he was crying in the exact scene during that funeral, there are a few speculations for that:

Some say that it was Sonyeonshin's way to connect Dongkyung and Myul Mang's fate together. Though I cannot give a thorough explanation on this one but this is something we really need to look into. Because if you look at it that way, anyone could’ve been anyone - but it was Dongkyung who saw him in his form. Why? Well we still boil down to what we call ‘fate’.

And I would also want to reiterate that Sonyeonshin is a deity who reincarnates. To give you a better explanation to how that works, I would like to give a very similar case scenario. If you watch the Noragami anime, it actually gives you a concrete explanation on how a God/deity reincarnates.

According to that anime, a God, like humans, can die. They can die a natural death - if people don't worship them anymore, and they can get killed by another God. But what's different is that, Gods can reincarnate. They reincarnate as a new being

 if and only if people/humans ask for it.

For Sonyeonshin’s case, people created her. So as long as there are people who worship her name, she will eventually come back to the world of the living.

Why do I use this reference?

Because no matter how you see it, the logic is the same.

I don’t know if you’re curious about this, but he actually denies being a deity himself. Instead, he prefers to be called as Myul Mang. 

This scene was actually from when Sun-kyung found out what was happening. He - Sun-kyung - actually said that he was a deity but he subtly denied it only to accept the adjective to avoid more explanations.

That is because unlike Sonyeonshin, he can't be reincarnated. He don’t have a name or people who worship him to get that privilege. That is also probably one of the reasons why he always believed that his job is a punishment.

Sonyeonshin is different. She was created by human wishes; she was loved and at the same time hated by humans.

OKAY it’s better to pause for a bit. I'm sure you're curious about why I said that humans 'hated' her, right?

I think he always do cry on her funerals. In every of her funerals.

Everytime a deity reincarnates, I think she reincarnates in a completely different person. As you can see, her younger self was different from when she died in that funeral.

The old Sonyeonshin.

The new Sonyeonshin.

She probably regains her memory as time passes, but that does not change the fact that she is different person, physically. She now had a different face and probably a completely different vibe.

Now, when you’re used to someone, you can’t automatically get used to a completely different person who claims to be that ‘someone’.

** So let’s say for example, you’re Myul Mang. And you saw Sonyeonshin literally being laid to rest. Then after probably three years time, a kid would randomly pull your shirt and tell you she’s Sonyeonshin. Would you automatically warm up to the kid? I honestly don’t think so.

And imagine Myul Mang literally experiencing this every single time.

That means, Myul Mang has to adjust then again to a new persona of the goddess which he already have a hard time doing given that he doesn't know anything about feelings.

And when he finally do warm up to the new Sonyeonshin, she dies.

I mean, anyone would cry - even if you’re Myul Mang. Probably because of the thought of doing that process over and over again. And at the same time, hating people who makes him suffer by killing and then reincarnating the same person in a different persona.

It probably drove him crazy. And that also explains his hate on humans.

And regarding his loathe for humankind, I think it’s also because of how humans treat Sonyeonshin. He never was close enough with humans so he never forgave them for killing his mother over and over again.

I spent. a truly appalling amount of time on a verse I will probably never use again. Anyway headcanons under the cut awsecawdedrf

So I was thinking about an obligatory "flim and flam are related to the apples" verse, so I dug up an old idea for it and got a lil too in depth with it zscdvawf.

So basically the framing device of this au in my head is that the apples (main ones) deliver special zap apples to a pretty distant branch of the family (they're related through granny smiths aunt essentially) because the distant fam (I'm gonna call them the redloves) wants to make special desserts to celebrate them all being together for the first time in a long time, specifically the sons are visiting which never happens

The apples just vibe with the family helping them make these special desserts while apple bloom goes into town for something. While Apple Bloom is around guess who she spots, the boys, looking deeply deeply unenthused. She kinda assumes whatever scheme they were doing had already been foiled, but she thinks it's notable enough to go tell AJ.

She can barely get a word in edgewise with AJ as the aunt, Apple Leaves, is running her mouth off endlessly about weird embarrassing details about "Red and Goldie" - the sons who are visiting. Mainly about how they hate coming home and she has literally no idea why. Before Applebloom can tell everyone about who she saw in town, guess who's at the door.

Golden Delicious and Red Delicious - Flim and Flam

Let's get into relations. So as indicated, Auntie Apple Leaves is not the mother of the family, she's the aunt - but she is the main matriarch of the gaggle. Bushel is her son, the little boy next to him is his son, Buck. Then there's Flim and Flam with their respective family names, then their older sister pink lady and her daughter little Redlove. Finally there's their father, Oregon Trail, and late mother Redlove.

Basically, Redlove passed away when Flim, Flam, and Lady were youngish, definately old enough to remember her and the aftermath quite clearly, but not old enough to be super mature about it (so like 10 and 14 respectively I'd say). She was a very sweet mare who always supported her children, an overall comforting presence to contrast the brick wall that was their father. Oregon Trail was a rail pony, he pulled trains before the relatively new invention of engine power. He was extremely absent, he was never home for long but when he was he was sleeping.

Trail couldn't just give up his job when his wife passed, so the kids moved in with Redlove's sister Apple Leaves (okay that's her canon name but,, come on. I'm gonna pretend her name is Ambrosia Apple Leaves but that's beside the point) and her son Bushel.

Flim, Flam, and Lady were cityfolk compared to their relatives. Even the relatively small train stop settlement they lived in was bustling compared to the smattering of houses separated by acres of orchard Auntie and Bushel called home. Lady adjusted fine, she liked being alone and making herself useful but flim and flam... didn't.

Flim and Flam may just be the scrawniest apples to set hooves to equestria. It wasn't really their fault, they were twins which are already small, and unicorns to boot. They really got hit with every recessive gene in the apple gene pool, and they would absolutely feel the ramifications of that.

They would be simply unfit for orchard work, even if they wanted to do it (which they did not). They were too little to buck trees, they didn't have the attention span to sort, and them in the kitchen was a harbinger or disaster. Together, they had many talents, just not useful ones.

Flam's talent was engineering. He had always been curious about the inner workings of household machines and how to make them work better, and he was especially interested in the trains his dad worked with. Into his teen years he started to find them inefficient, and (never knowing when to shut up) argued with his dad pretty often over how much easier everything would be if ponies would just accept steam, or electric, or magic power over horse power - this predictably caused a rift between them.

Flim was more on the creative side. He had a lot of big ideas he was happy to wax on about (if anyone would actually want to hear them) but was overall more of a planner than a doer. He also took a lot of pride in his showmanship and appearance, he tried very, very hard to look 'respectable'. His worst fear was to come off as a simple country bumpkin, but this did not go over well in the country.

One common gene Flim and Flam DID inherit was macromagenisia (very creative yea yea), a fairly common disorder where a pony produces an unusual amount of magic, leading to enhanced abilities but also uncontrollable outbursts. Instead of making them stronger and more in tune with the earth like other apples, if just have them more powerful unicorn magic. Too bad there were no unicorns around to teach them nor to control it.

In there first years on the farm, the boys would do anything to make themselves useful. This usually came in the form of trying to apply their inventing talents to daily tasks - which almost always ended in disaster. Eventually things devolved into a mutual hatred of the situation from both the boys and the family.

Though Auntie always at least attempted to be sweet with the boys, even if she wasn't very good at it, Bushel did not in the slightest. He didn't hate the boys per say, but he certainly went out of his way to give them hell more often than not. He came up with the nicknames "Spiffy and Sparky" which unfortunately caught on with the few other children in the area, which was a thorn in the brothers side until they moved out.

Flim and Flam didn't really know why Bushel didn't like them. Bushel didn't even know why Bushel didn't like them. I guess it was mostly about the tiny sliver of reputation Bushel had with the other kids around, that he was the big manly tough guy everyone wanted to be. His image was somewhat hampered by having to drag the town weirdos around with him everywhere, and being related to them certainly didn't help. He just didn't appreciate their ~ alternative ~ talents, and to be honest, they made no attempt to be kind to him.

The only pony Flim and Flam even kind of enjoyed was their older sister, Pink Lady. She was kind of everything they wanted to be, deep down. She was smart and adaptable - she knew how to make the best out of every situation. Lady was an optimistic, but a realistic one. She put off an heir of maturity, like she was truly above it all. She didn't indulge them any more then the rest of the family did, but she was always quick to defend them one way or another. She was the only member of the family they even attempted to keep contact with after they left, though it was tough being penpals with travelers.

As the boys grew up the farm became more and more grating. The one thing they couldn't stand was routine, and 8 years of it had them on the brink of a breakdown. All they wanted was adventure, literally anything to shake things up. So when they turned 18, they skipped town. They're first act of freedom was changing their names, they simply wanted to become someone new.

The very few times the twins visited the family was to meet their niece and nephew. They actually get along with kids quite well, and despite not liking their family, they had a soft spot for welcoming new members.

Karma manifests in funny ways, because rather than be like his father, Buck is surprisingly like Flim and Flam. He doesnt particularly like farm life, and is overall pretty meek and nerdy, to Bushel's dismay.

so pros of (Jiang Cheng/Wen Qing):

one of the few possible het ships available to mdzs fans like there are all of five named female characters and this is the only one not in an established het pairing. and like sure ive seen yanli w/ someone else a couple times but you CANT put her with JIANG CHENG and i cant say ive ever seen mianmian in a serious relationship in fics with anyone besides either her canon hubby or a chick (usually yanli, wen qing herself, or even sometimes both lmao).

it’s basically written itself in cql!! he has a very obv and clear crush on her, even gives her a comb and offers to help her! she seems interested but the way the storyline went it was simply not meant to be :’(

you get to pair off jiang cheng!! ngl once u finish mdzs its kinda sad for everyone not wangxian (in their generation/above) cuz theyre the only one that get a happy ending. Everyone else is forever alone / depressed / bitter or a combination thereof. so it’s nice to see jiang cheng getting a happy ending!

he... gets... kids...? like ngl as a childless person that is happy to stay that way thats not exactly a pro in my eyes but you might look at his relationship w/ jin ling and say “he’s a great father! he deserves to be a father!” which okay good news! wen qing can bear children!

Now. Cons. 

for one thing the fact that you have a lack of options doesnt exactly mean every possible het pairing can have good chemistry even if you change circumstances enough. there comes to a point where certain pairings can only be really viable if one or both of them are ooc.

lets be honest im willing to bet that AT LEAST 80% of the reason cql introduced this ship was because they were not allowed to make the wangxian pair explicitly Together (and i dont even mean anything specifically sexual), and they needed SOME SORT of romance to feature in the story. xuanli doesnt count because theyre an established background ship,  the jiang parents dont count as romance, we aint talkin about the villain relationships, and lbr, mianmian already had a lot more signif in cql than mdzs. so it makes sense that they took the arguably most important male chara besides wangxian and made him have a crush on the most important female character that wasnt his SISTER. 

what im trying to say is that cql pulled that pairing out of a hat. if you look at canon at ALL i highly doubt there would ever have been feelings, just as there never were. we dont quite know the age dif but we know that wen qing was the older sister and wen ning might have been a bit younger? than the boys? cannot quite remember but we dont know if she was only a year or two older or if it was like. mingjue and huaisang. we dont know! and i canNOT see jiang cheng going for an older chick. also their personalities would clash So Much. she has older sis vibes and not the gentle kind like yanli. she snaps at wen ning’s mumbling and stuff a good couple times- you think she’d tolerate jiang cheng’s emotional immaturity? hah. 

this also kinda segues into my main point of: as depressing as it is that jiang cheng is forever alone unless you pair him off... he would honestly put whoever you pair him off with through hell. he’s not nice. so many jiang cheng stans like to argue that he’s a traumatized kid that was raised to channel his emotions through anger (and raises bitterness under his skin like an ugly puppy) but inside he has a heart of gold, and they’re... not exactly wrong! i mean- literally every younger chara is traumatized in some way. but... that doesn’t really... excuse the shit he’s pulled? as much as jiang cheng stans like to forget: jin guangyao was RIGHT when he said that jiang cheng’s insecurities got wei ying killed. his CLOSEST ALLY. 

tying back to wen qing we have their actual CANON interactions (or lack thereof). wen qing didn’t exactly protect wei ying and jiang cheng out of the goodness of her heart when lotus pier fell: she was protecting wen ning (her BROTHER) from the repercussions of his own actions by saving wei ying (and Jiang Cheng ig idk he was just there bUT YOUNG MASTER WEI-)

not QUITE sure why she agreed to doing the golden core transfer (maybe scientific curiousity? i mean she had an unproven medical theory and here was a volunteer) but it def wasnt For Jiang Cheng.

and then the next time she saw him? do you guys remember the next time she saw him? it’ was when jiang cheng came up to the burial mounds to kill wen ning’s corpse and tell wei ying to turn over the wens. 

KEEP IN MIND that jiang cheng KNOWS wen ning and qing SAVED HIS FUCKING ASS after lotus pier (not How but he KNOWS THIS) and yet he still tells wei ying to hand them over.

he makes wei ying choose between what amounts to the cultivation world and his morals. 

that does not a good healthy relationship make. also again their personalities would clash like so bad. i love wen qing way more but you have to admit her personality is super similar to madame yu’s. and we already agreed that jiang cheng was traumatized as a kid. im not saying fengmian didnt have a hand in it but you gotta admit a good amount was madam yu and her insecurites and accusations she piled on her son. and you wanna pair him up romantically with someone who won’t take his shit and smile? will call him out? HAH.

im not saying this because i think jiang cheng should be with a softer personalitied (guy) like lan xichen or wen ning or huaisang because god knows those pairings have their own issues. im just saying that in canon-verse all i can ship whole-heartedly is jiang cheng / therapy, but since there is not therapy in canon-verse, or even if there WAS then there’s no way he’d admit to needing it, then yeah he can stay single for all his bitter life. better that than making jiang parent relationship 2.0 like fuck.

(this of course means that in modern aus where he DOES get therapy i am Open)

also real quick but jiang cheng was NOT a good parent to jin ling and i will not take constructive criticism like sure he was better than the jiang parents and the lan parents but that is SUCH a low fuckin bar and it’s a fact that in chapter 9 jin ling literally thinks “if I can’t slice off her head with this blow, I will die here- death it is then!!” (taken gratefully from the exiled rebels scanlation) and that is NOT a healthy-minded child.

the only healthy minded children is like. jingyi. and probably sizhui. although i am not here for the way the lan sect raise children but sometimes you have to take what you can get.

He thinks it’s the cutest thing in the world

Every time he travels away from you, he always brings you one back that represents where he traveled (a modern day example would be a teddy bear with a sombrero to represent Mexico, (just so you get the picture)) he also gets to them as presents for birthdays and holidays anniversaries

In a modern au, you both more or likely have a beanie baby collection hiding somewhere in the shop, you both probably brought another beanie baby snail so you could recreate the “snesbian”(snail lesbian) wedding you saw on tiktok

Early in you’re relationship (pre-upright) before he can take you on trips with him he finds it really comforting to know that you have a cuddle buddy or two to keep you company while he’s away, but after you’ve been together for a while (post-upright) don’t be surprised when you wake up and all your stuffed animals are on the floor (that is if you sleep with them of course!)

I also really like the idea of asra trying to make you a stuffed animal for your birthday or anniversary, or any other celerbration (something a like his Faust trinket you can get from the wheel, just a little more improved, )

Apologies in advance for the angst BUT If you’ve had this obsession pre-memory lost, when you’re,,,, y’know (trying to keep this as spoiler free as I can for some of the new guys!) he clutches on to it every night while he’s trying to sleep, crying out you’re name, (and probably uses it in his studies to try to get you back,) and post-y’know, he brings it with him during all his trips because of how much he hates being away from you, and if you’ve grown fond of that one, he’ll bring another one you like a lot, he feels bad but he can’t help it, he just misses you so much

She’s on it. She’ll ask you a million questions, “what kind do you like, do you need to sleep with any, do you want a custom one, or a spefic kind?”

Her room is so cluttered with stuffed animals by the end of the week, that she makes you pick out you’re favorite one (which quickly turns into ten or twenty) and the rest go to their own separate room in the palace, where they’re put on display, and easily accessible for you to switch out with any of the ones In you’re too, that you’re bored with

In a modern au I feel like Nadia would also be on bored for collecting beanie babies, but unlike asra who’s only in it for the snesbian wedding she wants all of the rare ones doesn’t matter how much they cost, she has them, it’s not even about you at this point, when Nadia gets a kick you just gotta let her ride it out.

I think it’s canon (or atleast close to canon) that Nadia loves to design clothes, I mean we all know she loves to tinker, but I think she’ll find it really relaxing destining new stuffed animals with you and clothes for some of the ones you already have if you’d want (and yes. She makes matching ones for you and you’re favorites)

If you do sleep with them, Nadia might find it a little hard to sleep with all the clutter around the bed so she’ll thoss the ones your not cuddling off the bed (or if she’s having a real sleepless night, she’ll throw them across the room) but nonetheless if you’re happy she’s happy, she’ll never get agitated at you for having your own interest (despite tripping over like three of them while trying to start her day)

Also I feel like atleast one of Nadias sisters had that stuffed animal phase as a kid, if you know baby....then you know so I feel like it’s really refreshing for her to be able to keep stuffed animals around without having to hear someone scream and whine because they couldn’t get the one they wanted

Julian

The day after you tell him he brings you a doctor teddy bear, wearing a hand-sewn eye patch witch Portia more or likely helped him make (note that I said helped he wanted to try to make it on his own... but surgical stitches are a lot diffrent from things such as cross stitches,,,, and the fabric is just a lot more flimsy then human flesh)

He likes to bring you ‘fun’ ones as he calls them, teddy bears dressed as pirates, doctors, flappers, any kind that matches you’re faveroite animal, pigs decked out in fancy clothes (the vesuvia verson of Miss piggy) espically if he knows you like them, he would do anything to see you laugh and smile, especially if it’s from one of his gifts, it makes his heart jump

In a modern au, you could spend your quality time making fun of the ridiculous beanie baby prices, but for the love of god please don’t say you find a beanie baby who’s highest bidding price is over one hundred dollars cute, because HE WILL bid on it and the price DOESNT MATTER (also- self indulgent but If you have a furby espically the older ones, it will freak Julian the hell out, and he will quickly turn it so it’s not looking at him every time he enters a room)

Every time you travel together he checks all the touristy gift shops for a stuffed animal you like, and will happily buy you any type you like, and it doesn’t matter how big it is. He WILL make it fit in his suit case, even if it means he has to leave a couple pairs of shoes behind.....

If you sleep with any of you’re stuffed animals he doesn’t mind, I mean sure he ends up laying on a couple of them, and the do end up getting tangled in his limbs, but he finds it cute and is willing to make a sacrifice, and if he were to come in late from working overtime and caught you sleeping cuddling the doctor teddy bear he gave you....with the eyepatch that he helped make....he wouldn’t want to disturb you... so he pulls up a chair and watches you sleep in the least creepy way possible

If you two are ever trying to do the do and your stuffed animal is In the room... or even better facing towards the bed... I think it would make Julian the slightest bit uncomfortable but would just laugh it off and say something along the lines of “I didn’t know we had and audience” or “looks like we have a guest” which would be terrifying if he were to say that mid-ya know

Out of everyone I feel like she is definitely the most enthusiastic and chill about having stuffed animals in her cottage, and I mean sure they’re everywhere and she’s tripped on atleast six of them... but as long as pepi doesn’t get too any of them( again) you’re fine

I like to imagine she has something (other than Julian) that survived the ship wreck with her, wether that be a blanket or a stuffed animal (for the sake of this head canon it’s a stuffed animal) that she holds very close to her yes this is very unlikely given, well all the factors but she deserves something, and if your really against that idea, a little stuffed animal Julian gave her when she was a kid before he left

I can’t keep headcanoning that every one has a thing for beanie babies in a modern au, even though she has a snesbian wedding in her garden with a snesbian officiant which she photographs and gets tiktok famous off of.... she’ll be more into anything Sanrio related, like don’t leave this girl alone in round one because she’s already spent 150 trying to win the rilakkuma stuffed animal that’s riiiiight over the edge (after many many try’s, she does win it, and gives it to you)

She is the type to sew, or crochet, or even knit you stuffed animals, and those are usually the ones she ends up giving you, if not? They definitely were handmade from somewhere, probably a small shop or from an old lady selling them at the heart district

If you sleep with stuffed animals....well good news because so does she! Throughout the night not only are you to fighting for the blanket (if it’s during winter) but now you’re fighting over the stuffed animals, and every night as soon as one of you says you’re going to bed, it’s a race to see who can get to bed first and hog all the stuffed animals, (which may lead to a pillow fight if you’re lucky)

One time pepi tore up one of you’re faveroite stuffed animals and Portia felt so bad about it that she not only made pepi her own toys to play with, but sewed up your toes up one, and if it was beyond repair, she would make you an identical one

(Also Portia is the type to spend 100 dollars at a carnival trying to knock the milk bottles down so she can win her s/o a cheap stuffed dog that pepi is gonna claw into anyway...but it’s the thought that counts :’) )

He really really does and he’s trying hard to express that but depending where you are in your relationship with him....makes a little bit of a difference, so for the sake of the headcanon muriels headcanon is gonna be soon after his upright endeding so expect some assumptions about his character but I do know that people just don’t change over night so one things for sure....he still doses to fully understands soft nice things

I think Muriel likes to hear you talk, like sure he prefers the quiet, but out of everyone in the world, your the only person he doesn’t mind listening to (how sweet! ) so he probably asks you a lot of questions, but not necessarily like Julian, more questions that ask why you like them, because he wants to like them too, and you want him to like them too, but you do still have some work ahead of you

In a modern au.....build a bear dates @lisa-frank-cave did a headcanon on it a while back that I REALLY liked, it is a little buried so if you’re having trouble finding it lmk and I can reblog it for you, but atleast visits their page and look for it because their stuff is super good! :) so for sure go check out their head canon for it if you want something more in depth but to just elaborate my thoughts on it, it’s just something the two of you could do together (and I feel like Muriel loves spending time with you no matter what activity it is) I also feel like he’d like being able to make something with you, which works out great if you can’t whittle to save you’re life,,,and I dunno,,,it just makes me soft,,,,

I don’t like the head canon that Muriel has bug clumsy hands, he can whittle for gods sake! And used to make masquerade masks for asra to sell pre-plague times, (and made his own in every route but his own) so I feel like Muriel would atleast attempt ONCE to sew or crochet you a stuffed animal, it’s a little tragedy looking, and over time it starts to fall apart at the seams, but he made it for you, and seeing you love it so much let’s him know all his hard work payed off, and he’ll make you another one or two

He doesn’t mind if you sleep with stuffed animals, but he apologizes in advance if they get crushed (the bed is barley big enough for the both of you) and gets a little jealous if you’re cuddling you’re stuffed animal instead of him, he won’t say anything but he’ll for sure get pouty about, and as cute as he is when he’s pouty make sure you don’t cuddle you’re stuffed animals more than him, because if you do it will start to get to him if you know what I mean

Also refuses to have sex if stuffed animals are on the bed or facing the bed, if they’re on the bed, he’ll throw them off, facing the bed, he’ll turn them around, he just doesn’t like the idea of being watching while being intimate with you

In a modern au I feel like lucio would be overly enthusiastic to go to build a bear that he nearly crushes a kid with his knock off red bottoms trying to get in there, dragging you behind him, then impatiently rushes the whole process not making too enjoyable for you (depending on who you are of course) but lucio just seems to be having fun! (Also goes on a Saturday afternoon and they are like four kids celebrating their birthday and a line that goes out the door, unlike Muriel who goes early Sunday morning or Tuesday night to beat the crowds)

He personally likes anything goat related, but also likes custom made ones made with red velvet and and gold stitching, and will happily buy you or get any kind you want customed made, and on you’re birthday? When you wake up in the morning the room is covered with all diffrent typed of stuffed animals, and lucio is beaming proudly in the middle of it

If you sleep with them then no problem! Lucio would too! But if he catches you cuddling a certain stuffed animal more than him then it might just....disappear for a while...but if he sees you upset or worried that you can’t find it, don’t worry! It will reappear again.... or something very similar to it.....

One time Mercedes and Melchior tore up one of you’re favorite stuffed animals (again) so lucio had them kicked out of his bedroom...or so he said, what really happened is while he was waiting for your replacement to come in, he wanted to act all tuff and kick Mercedes and Melchior our to assert his dominance, but secretly still played with them and let them back in you’re room when you weren’t around. Request/Prompt: Hmm maybe one where 2 mcs were sent to the devil dom, a boy and a girl. And the boy haveing to watch the others practically fawn over the girl, so he kind of just stays to himself and doesnt leave the room ever. Curious to see what the brothers would say after eventually Noticing him missing and finding him in a crying heap

They didn’t even notice. Why would they notice you? You weren’t pretty like her. You weren’t even a girl. Of course those boys would be all over her.

But it still hurt- they had two people to watch over, not just one. You didn’t even get a second look from any of them after the initial greeting.

And it’s not like you could be mad at [MC], she hadn’t done anything, other than maybe ignore you like the others did. But she was in a new surrounding, her first thought was probably to just survive.

Yours had been, too, for the first few days. After you had tried to get yourself used to the Devildom, you just quit. The school was out for two weeks anyway, to help the exchange students get used to the surroundings, and if you had half a mind you would’ve just asked Diavolo to send you back, you didn’t choose nor did you want to be there.

But you didn’t bother asking. It had been a few days where you just sat in your room, busting yourself by rearranging the room to your liking and scrolling though the DDD. None of the brothers tried to contact you, only the angels did. It was almost as if the brother altogether forgot you were there.

It made you angry in a way, the way they dawned over her. It was either jealousy or just protectiveness over your fellow human, you couldn’t tell which had triggered the anger.

They coddled her, acted like she was a weak human, but they assumed you were strong? Or was it because you were a boy, so you could ‘protect yourself’?

Whatever the reason, it made tears of frustration start streaming down. You collapsed to the ground in front of the bed you had moved for the fifth time that day and just cried.

You wanted to go home, you hated it here. Humans were solitary animals, and even though it was partially your fault for distancing yourself, your brain told you they didn’t want to be your friend anyway, so why should you try?

You continued crying until the door opened, and your eyes quickly glanced up.

Somewhere in the House of Lamentation, Levi sneezed three quick times. Then three more.

[MC] frowned and looked away from Henry to let her eyes rest of Levi.

“Leviachan, are you alright?” He nodded, wiping at his nose before getting enthralled again by the anime he was watching.

“I sometimes sneeze when people talk about me,” he explained. “If they need me enough, they’ll come find me.”

The door to his room gently opened.

“[Y/N], are you in here?” Lucifer asked, and [MC] glanced over at him.

“No, they’ve never been in here. Is everything alright?”

“We just haven’t seen him in sometime. Do you know where he could be?” [MC] shook her head.

“Other than his bedroom, I don’t know where he would be.”

“Alright, thank you, [MC].” A twisted feeling gathered in her stomach, almost a human intuition. Something bad was happening.

“We should go check in on him, c’mon.”

“I’m sure he’s fine, he’s a big boy,” Levi answered not tearing his gaze away from the TV. [MC] walked in front of him.

“No, you say that every time. Have you even talked to him? C’mon, I have a bad feeling, somethings wrong.”

You quickly wiped your eyes as you saw the eldest enter your room, and you stood and turned away from him.

“[Y/N], I came to check in to see if everything’s alright and to confirm classes for next week. It seems as if not everything is alright.”

You scoffed. “Yeah, why would it be? I was ignored by the people that are supposedly supposed to be helping me, and my stupid brain won’t shut up long enough for me to build up the courage to talk to you guys. So yeah, not everything is alright.”

“[Y/N], hasn’t Mammon been watching over you?”

“Lucifer, I can’t even tell you what your guys’ names are with how little I’ve been interacting with the lot of you. Of course he hasn’t been. This is the first conversation I’ve had with any of you, whether it be in person or over the phone.”

You turned to Lucifer slightly. He seemed angry, and you immediately shrunk down, sitting on your bed.

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to say that, I just-”

“No, it’s quite alright. Thank you for telling me. From now on I’ll show you around, I’m sure that Diavolo will understand. And I’ll see to it that Mammon sees his proper justice get served. Does that sound good?”

You looked up at him.

“I guess,”

The door opened again and in came [MC], and Lucifer glanced over at her. You immediate shrunk down even more into yourself, assuming Lucifer would just go back with her.

“Hey, is everything alright? I got some bad vibes and I just wanted to be sure,” she confronted and Lucifer nodded.

“I believe we got to the root of the source. [Y/N], please be ready by 6:00, we’ll be going on a tour of the Devildom,” Lucifer instructed and you nodded. He then left quickly, to punish Mammon from what you presume.

“How do you like it here so far?” [MC] asked. “Also, sorry for just barging in but back at home when I got a feeling like that something really bad happened.”

“It’s no big deal. And I don’t really know about it here. I don’t really know anybody since they brother were always talking to you.” You said, trying not to sound too snide about it.

[MC] cringed.

“Yeah, no joke. I tried to tell them to go coddle you and that I could protect myself, but they didn’t seem to believe me. They played it off as ‘oh, he can protect himself’ you know like how people do back home,” [MC] came to sit next to you.

“Well, I’d like to change your outlook of this place,” she cheered to you. “We can both learn together, and since you have a good two hours before six, I’ll show you all of my favorite things so far, if that sounds good.”

A small smile came to your face as you nodded.

Even if the brothers didn’t talk to you, you were making a friend that you could take back home with you. And you were fine with that.

Season 12 but The Master kept pretending to be O??

Basically self-indulgent Thoschei with a twist.

So Spyfall is resolved, The Kasaavin are banished back to their realm and the Fam and Doctor are clueless as to the true mastermind, Barton taking the fall while the Master continues to pose ad O, having decided he’s enjoying the game of tricking her too much.

Perhaps among their texts they’ve grown close, or perhaps the brief time together in the outback led to events?? ;) But either way, he changes his mind mid plan and continues to act human.

Since he never leaves the message or has the confrontation in Paris, the doctor remains unaware of Gallifrey’s destruction. The fam wait off on asking their questions since she isn’t off with them.

Orphan 55 happens, and while the fam go do their shit, O stays with the Doctor bc admit it, she was like oh ;-; when everyone went to explore. My poor baby. So they hang out together before everything goes to shit, how cute?? Things get resolved, but with the revelation of one of earth’s potential fates, and the potential that the doctor lied about knowing, the fam decide to ask to know more about her. She shares what she believes its true at the time, being born on gallifrey and being a timelord, O looms in the background looking awkward bc he knows none of that is true and he feels horrible keeping the truth from her, it makes him as bad as the rest of the time lords- but he is selfish and he doesn’t want to stop what he’s doing, he’s started to really enjoy her company, its everything he’s ever wanted, every star.

And then it’s ruined when Yaz asks to see her own planet. Blissfully unaware of its destruction, she takes them, and so they’re right there with her when she sees, opens the doors to the rubble, the dying flames- and oh god. The fam are horrified, she’s horrified, O has to fake it, while being utterly glad those nasties are dead- maybe he gets to sneakily comfort hug her??? like she’s trying not to tear up even after that whole shit show of the confession dial, it was her home??so yeah he’s like hugging her but he’s so angry bc they dont deserve her tears?? 

The doctor is off after that, and the fam know why, and none of their words of comfort do much, because sure they’ve just witnessed the death of earth too but that is just one timeline, can be completely avoided, while gallifrey is gone forever, and she believes she’s once more the last of her kind. it hurts.

they visit tesla all the same, and when that big ass scorpion looking alien (bc im sorry i didnt like the episode and i’ve forgotten her name so....) mentions dead planets, she can feel the fam stiffen, as though the doctor is gonna blow at any minute, but she keeps calm, tries to bury the rage, but O can tell, can tell by the way her arms shake, hands clenched into fists in her pockets- and it hurts him to see her like this- the longer he spends around her, pretending to be someone he’s not, he’s just realizing more and more what a dumbass he is and that he’s still as in love with her now than he was all those years ago in the academy- none of the truth will change that-

and then boom the shit show with the judoon occurs and suddenly O is confused af because that Lee guy could ONLY have been him. Who else on gallifrey was stupid enough to hide out with the doctor, marry them and die for them?? him because he’s a dumbass? but he’s a dumbass who definitely doesnt remember this memories?? which theoretically in the doctors timeline should have been sometime after the division? or during? he’s not sure? but to his knowledge he shouldn’t have been alive at this stage? and now he’s not sure what the fuck HIS own life is too? did they take his memories from him too? has he lost part of his life? suddenly the truth doesnt seem as known as he thought- so while the doctor is reeling from the information of Ruth being her somehow? O is having his own mental crisis because what the fuck did they do to him too? what is he missing?? 

praxeus continues as similar as it did originally, O is only the tiniest impressed at Yaz, ever since Spyfall he’d sensed she was the human with the most potential to not be utterly worthless so he’s glad at least one of the doctors latest pets seems to have some initiative?? but yeah i dont wanna change much about praxeus? its not important- except the doctor saying she’s a romantic and the master wants that? wait what- he’s conflicted about his own thoughts? he wanted to break her, destroy her with the truth? but he also just wants to wrap her in his arms? make everything as okay as he can? what the fuck is even happening with him? jsut your usual ‘im a mess’ vibes lmao

when can you hear me? rolls around, it happens in a similar way, i dont wanna get to into it because i dont wanna think too much...the episode was weird, it was just weird-- i cant?? although maybe bc that zellin and the lady whose name i forgot...but they were immortal right?? maybe their species is the doctors species?? huh? huh? think about that- but don’t think too hard bc i hate that theory and i’m gonna pretend i never had that thought- lets just ignore can you hear me even though the end made me cry for yaz bc lol relatable sis, relatable. do whatever you want for this bit fam, idc.

Villa Diodati ;) O is ready to smack Byron round the face, fingers itching towards the tce everytime he tries to flirt with the doctor. the lone cyberman appears and wopdie doo earth is going to be destroyed and the doctor is about to do something stupid, thinking there is no other way? the master is like um lol change of plans i dont want the cybermen to win, look how in pain my baby theta is?? i gotta help?? oof? and idk, his patience is like nope all gone? and he whips out his TCE on the lone cyberman and boom. crisis averted? except now the doctor is looking at him in horror and shock and- she realizes who he is then and there, and normally he’d made a big drama out of his, throw in some words, a speech about how easy it was to deceive her, how he destroyed gallifrey- about how he was under her nose this whole time- but he doesn’t, instead he meets her gaze and can barely manage to whisper an “im sorry” and wow shit i wasn’t gonna write that version, i was gonna have feral confrontation but now im stanning a sad master who just needs a hug and some therapy because nothing makes sense, he thought he had everything figured out but he doesnt and he just wANTS HIS FRIEND BACK uiferkghlujkfaghjfkgladhfajkg; i m fine 

i dont know what i wanna do after this point? it could go a lot of different ways?? but thoschei rights bitches. could go angst confrontation and then she abandons him in whatever century that was set bc wow i studied frankenstein in school but i couldnt tell you what century the author is from bc im dumb? 18th? maybe idk that seems likely? or 19th? but anyway yeah or maybe she’s just relieved someone else is alive? or is she shouting for answers or?? i dunno.... but woop ???

i was less productive today and i'm teetering between being mentally stable and becoming a hermit again. i'm anxious with a lot of things atm so like : D not the best state. today it was a bit sunny but not hot hot which was nice. i changed my theme today bc i couldn't wait for sept. 1st. and no i haven't found anything that makes me happy HAHAHA shit like that's hard to identify. don't have anything to say too, i'm just thinking about why i'm procrastinating too much atm T_T and i'm listening to this rap song atm and one of the rappers sounded like han.

it isn't annoying! i enjoy the long exchanges but i do admit it takes me awhile to type down a reply. so if i get more busy, it'll prolly take a bit longer for me to reply.
