I think of the playable characters in birth by sleep, ventus would be their favorite. I am not the best writer and this AU spawned from my urge to draw reigen with a staff and horns-

Before I explain the main stuff

Horns in this universe contain ✨Magic✨ in them. Natural magic users magic kicks in (?) at around the age of 13-14. Growing horn process is basically like uhh less painful head teething I guess

If horns are broken (like torn off or smashed) there’s a small period of time where the magic lingers in the air, people can absorb this magic air thing, but that leaves the person you’ve destroyed the horns of weak.

I SHOULD MENTION!! Magic users also have magic in their blood, it’s weak since most of the magic is in the horns but it’s like a last hurrah before you then start using up like, life points iguess.

Magic can also be transferred into plants, even dead trees, nothing will happen it’s like a lil magic bank, it’ll just store it until you need it or if someone else finds it but it’s almost weaker depending who gets it first. People who never got the magic using abilities will stick tree branches in their head for makeshift horns and beg for people to spare some of the funny magics to their branches

Reigen is a very talented magic user, he works for the king as an assistant to Mogami. Blah blah blah he works there for ages almost taking Mogami in skill wise, Mogami suddenly turns unusually sour, Hey reigen! Snap! Half Horn gone! The other broke! Goodbye!! Now somewhere at the end of the forest. Reigen, now somewhere is going to find his way back to the kingdom and beat the shit outta him, he doesn’t even want his spot back. He’s going back to kick ass.

MOB TIME. He’s the most unfinished one out of the main two, so I’m very sorry if nothing makes sense!

So Mob and Ritsu are the same age: 8 years old, Mob lives in a nice cosy village filled with funny magic people! *vine thud* until he didn’t!!!!! Bam bam woah who’s that? Why it’s claw!! Claw grunts are all like yeah let’s destroy this town and steal magic!!1!! This event causes Mob to be separated from everyone, he’s somewhere in the wreckage of his old village, then woah!! Funny guys here tryna kill him!! Like anyone he starts to panic.

First thought: start screaming(?????) The claw grunts here are stupid and want their ego fed so they taunt him cuz why not! Child is being very annoying and loud, something comes out from the bushes!!! Woah Mister Reigen Arataka?? He’s there and he mocks the living fuck outta the claw grunts then for a second they all get distracted by mob .. iduno saying something? Then boom bam Reigen knocks them out.

Kind happy act over, Reigen only wanted to boost his ego for helping a defenceless kid. Mobs like “yo I’ve lost my family. Could you help me!” And Reigen’s like “No. I’m busy, I don’t have time to babysit.” Mob gets sad about that then wooosh!! The hood from his cloak I forgot to mention previously goes down to reveal…. Tada!!! Growing Horns! Ones half in his head, the other is visible. Holy shit magic 8 year old???? That’s like… unusual.

First thing Reigen thought was “damn this kid probably has more magic than I do right now………… wait.” Then he connects two and two together and decides to help Mob find his family.

But only if he helps him first.

The New War Au part 3

Three months after part 2

Jaune and Ren where in Vale shopping for snacks and party stuff for the big party Yang and Coco wanted to throw. Team RWBY and team CFVY had worked together on a HVAG hunt. Jaune wasn't too keen on being a errand boy but atleast him and Ren can talk to each other for once. They haven't really spoken to one another due to Ren being well Ren. It also has to do with a game of drunken spin the bottle thanks to Yang of course.

This is where Nora and Jaune got paired together and instead of taking a shot Jaune just laid one on the ginger bomber. This also lead to drunk and friendship sex something only Jaune, Ren, and Nora know about. Jaune just couldn't handle the silence between the two of them. Since there was a shit ton of traffic they where stuck waiting.

Jaune: So... I know you probably don't want to be here with me rn but were a team. I feel I haven't been a good team leader to-

Ren: Jaune your not about to apologize are you. If it's about you and Nora that night I'm not bothered by that. I know Nora's not good with alcohol, also me and her aren't together- together

Ren: You've been nothing but a good team leader fto us.

Ren: Jaune that was so long ago it doesn't bother me.

Jaune: So then how come you never talk to me. Or come to me for anything?

Ren: Well... Uh how do I put it. I'm still kinda of intimidated by you. That explosion you let off in class and the one after that.

The two finally where able to cross the street.

Ren: You also keep to yourself throughout the weeks only really talking and chilling out with everyone on the weekends.

Jaune: I'm just happy you don't see me as an asshole or something. But I'm sorry you feel that way. Tell you what before we go back and meet up with everyone at the party me and you hang out, my treat okay.

Ren: lol okay sure but no junk food I'm trying to stay in shape.

Jaune: NANI!? You can't do that I live off of my burgers and soda.

Ren: That's why your getting a little heavier I heard you talking with Pyrrha last week you went up like 10pounds.

That's when Jaune noticed that there are a lot of trucks driving past them on the road all black Vans one of them parking in the middle of traffic. Vale is boisterous kingdom there is always someone trying to go some where. So for a van to just stop and hold up traffic is unheard of

Jaune: I don't like this.

Ren: I think it's to early to decide that maybe-

Then without warning a group of six men got out of the van all wearing these bullet proof type vest and Black mask and sporting heaven weapons. Two have Light machine guns while two more have Rifles while the last two didn't have anything they just ran forward while the four men with guns ran the opposite direction.

At this very point Jaune's situational awareness kicked in especially when he realized the men run towards they're direction, not at them but towards the cars and civilians near them. Jaune then instinctively grabbed Ren and with aura in his body and his goal in mind he was gonna get the two of them out of there.

Ren: W-What... J-Jaune

Was the only thing he could say before he realized he was being held and moved away from the ensuing explosion. Those two guys without guns where suicide bombers. They where wearing best with obvious c4 labels bad wrapping. Jaune had got atleast 6 meters or so away from where they were standing that was enough to keep out of the initial explosion, but something else had happened that Jaune didn't see but Ren did. The truck the men got out of exploded as well releasing a thick black miasma that covered the area. Jaune was able to get them away before the miasma got them.

Jaune: Ha ha *out of breath*

Jaune: What the fuck was that, those guys, the explosion, all those people are gone.

Ren: JAUNE, we have to move, we have to call someo-

Just like that the sound of another explosion went off. Then another, and another till there was just sounds of chaos and discord. The two looked at what they could only assume was another cloud of miasma like the one where they are and then they saw it the people caught inside of it where they were would die from the fumes.

Ren: Jaune call somebody,

Jaune: Who the hell do I call right now

Ren: ANYBODY!

Jaune: AND TELL THEM WHAT?!. A terrorist attack is happening what should we do?

Then Jaune's scroll started dinging it was Yang.

Yang: JAU- J- R- Y- O-

His Scroll wasn't getting good reception

Jaune: YANG? YANG YOUR BREAKING UP YANG?! YANG?!

Jaune: Damnit I lost the signal.

Ren: Jaune call your weapons to you I'll do the same

Jaune: No need I've already called both of our ETA 2mins. Since we can't get hold of anyone we'll do what we can to help the civilians.

Jaune: We may be Huntsman but I'm not gonna sit by while innocent people die.

The duo's lockers landed and now they both stand in front of them.

Ren: I completely agree and sorry about earlier.

Jaune: It's fine suit up and let's move out I'm going to activate my distress beacon in my scroll and share my location. Someone will see it, btw I'm not the only one who saw the Atlas logo on all of those guys shoulders am I ?

Back At Beacon

Team RWBY, Team CFVY, Nora, and Pyrrha are all in teams Rwby dorm trying to figure what to do. They all saw the news mass terrorist attack throughout the kingdom of Vale. They had just tried to reach Jaune and Ren but the signal cut out and they didn't look like they where in good shape.

Yatsuhashi: Gone. The people responsible for this... Who could do such a thing?

Velvet: ...

Fox put his hand on Velvet's back and rubbed to comfort her.

Weiss: Those men they patches they look like Atlas military.

As the two where about to continue the news anchor on air spoke of two male huntsman adding the Police in the attack. The group can see Jaune and Ren are fighting back and helping the Police but they're position is pinned down from all sides the terrorist are closing in on the law enforcement and huntsman outside of the Dusk till Dawn dust shop. Will the two Huntsman in training survive the endless amounts of men pushing in on they're location.

Character Analysis

Lie Ren: Age 18, Classification Mid-Grade, Huntsman classification: Oppressor, with fast unrelenting attacks Ren can send attacks in all the while keeping the targets guessing on the next attack. This opens up Rena targets for successful strikes.

Semblance, Cloak, this semblance allows Ren to cloak humor anybody who touches him making them transparent to the naked eye. This does have draw backs like the main one him and anyone he's in contact with is still there and can be seen with infrared. It also exhausting to do it with more then 5 people for more then 10 minutes.

Thoughts on The Lodge? Which ones you like/dislike, maybe a few thoughts on them etc

I had to really think about this one lol firstly because it took me five minutes to realise you were referring to The Witcher and not the 2019 horror/thriller film and secondly because I didn't know I had any specific thoughts on the Lodge until I received this.

Let me preface all of this by saying that I absolutely love the way sorceresses/mages are portrayed in the books. They're all so eclectic and colourful and capricious, and above all GLAMOROUS AF. I hated the show's depiction and design for them soooo much, it was incredibly underwhelming and lame to me. But the books do such a wonderful job of describing their glamours, their gowns, jewels and aesthetics. I also love how each mage/sorceress has their own tasks and motives, they excel at different things and are very enjoyable to read about.

I did like the premise on which the Lodge was founded, to exclusively serve matters of magic. Which will do everything to prevent a cataclysm. For if magic were to perish, our world would perish with it. I love the whole realm of magic and sorcery within The Witcher, so this secret organisation really appealed to me, particularly because it united all sorceresses; human and elven, including sorceresses from all over the various kingdoms including Nilfgaard! But then their motives kind of rubbed me up wrong and I didn't agree with their plans to extract information from Geralt (looking at you Fringilla) or their plans for Yen and Ciri. I particularly didn't like their mistrust of Yen either, so overall I can't say I was a fan of the Lodge's overall objectives.

I found Philippa Eilhart really cool in the early books, and admired her magical/polymorph abilities especially The Blood of Elves. But I didn't warm to her in the subsequent books because of her plans for Ciri and Yen, lmao I just don't like anyone interfering with Geralt, Yen or Ciri whatsoever. Leave them alone!😤

Francesca Findabair Enid an Glenna is one of my favourite Elven characters, she's the most beautiful woman in the world as well as the Queen of all Aen Sidhe. I enjoyed the complexity of her role in the coup of Thanedd (despite working with Vilgefortz), her alliance with Emhyr var Emrais and the fact that she helped Yen escape. I also loved the fact that she voted in favour of Ciri going to say goodbye to Geralt at the Lodge meeting. I'm a sucker for Elves anyway so really hope to draw her some day, she really appeals to me.

I also loved the Nilfgaardian mage, Assire var Anahid and the fact that she was Cahir's great aunt!!! I love how she was spying on Rideaux and gleaming information, as well as owning a black cat! And the fact that she wasn't as superficial or conventionally attractive was also a nice little contrast to the rest. I'm a huge fan of the Nilfgaardian idea that mages shouldn't use glamours to hide their real appearances/flaws. I'm trying to remember what else there was to add but I can't rn😅 I really hope to draw her too some day!

I don't really have much of an opinion on the others if I'm honest, I found Sheala de Tancarville's operations in Kovir very interesting, but the rest of the sorceresses didn't really catch my attention or interest in the same way. I've mentioned my thoughts on Triss in the past so I won't really repeat myself again. I'm firmly team Yennefer all the way so anyone who bears her any ill-will or animosity isn't really on my Good List haha.

first is gonna be spindle since. i love them. theyre probably my favourite. and also the first i made. theyre just babie

they really are just babey,,

kind of accidentally an endless source of lifeblood which is a long story but its not.. very fun. to be constantly covered in plants. by adulthood most of their torso and one of their limbs is almost completely replaced/encased in plant matter

they take this pretty well actually. even if it gets a lot harder to move

for a vessel they grew up to full size much quicker than others of their kind, likely due to the lifeblood’s properties, but really nobody has much of a clue. didnt have time to get used to their size and still has VERY bad spatial awareness

broke their horn tip by smacking it on a low ceiling hkfdnfbdmvdf

plants bursting out of their shell and eye have pretty badly damaged it, and they can’t see out of the broken eye

theyre trying their hardest!! always!! they can’t move around very well and sometimes get lonely sitting at home in dirtmouth but they’re friendly to just about anybody and have so much love to give

seriously they dont even eat but they like to make sure they have food and drink at home in case anyone drops in and needs it

they’ve never been able to fight, and shy away from violence or combat in all forms

very scared of the dark and carries a lantern with them at all times, usually around their neck

discharges excess lifeblood into soil and grows a garden from it - keeps it from overtaking their body any further, and it’s something to do

not the best at communicating since a wood arm makes signing stiff and tricky, but they’re not much of a talker (signer?) anyway

then we have scratch n thimble who are kinda twins but not really. yeah those are matching scarves they are Bros (sibs??)

the biggest of all my vessel ocs, just in general. a big and strong friend

made it to the palace but got tossed for starting to care too much and takin a blow for another sibling. saved thimble from dying down there too and they were absolutely inseparable since

really just the embodiment of the ‘you befriended x! x would now die for you’ meme not gonna lie

has almost literally died for Multiple siblings n friends before but they wouldn’t let them. which is, a good thing

too reckless for their own good especially in their younger years but thankfully mellows out quite a bit by adulthood

tries to keep up a strong stoic front but also doesnt hesitate to abandon it if needed. theyre big soft really (they wont admit it tho)

has The Biggest soft spot for kids do not let them tell you otherwise

fought for the sake of it in the colosseum for many years before Stuff And Things involving yet another vessel happened and they kinda trashed the place and never went back

their nail is about as big and heavy as their entire body and they’re surprisingly good at using it for something so unwieldy. could probably crush most bugs just by virtue of it being So Damn Big

spends a lot of time when grown at the howling cliffs keeping an eye on those travelling into the kingdom, and deterring those with malicious intent

they got that eye wound from their sibling… it was technically an accident. they still don’t talk about it though

contrary to their twin thimble is the smallest vessel (as a babby at least - they do end up standing taller than spin and ruth when fully grown)

they have the very unfortunate problem of their shade having fused with void tendrils from the abyss sea as a babby

as such their shade is very violent and kinda has a habit of literally bursting out their shell and lashing out at anything around them under stress

eventually they get a handle on it and learn to control the literally overflowing void inside them but until then their entire life is pretty much a big clusterfuck of trying not to kill people, which they hate

they’re very timid and shy and cling to familiar figures (especially scratch) probably too much, but strike out on their own much more growing up 

theyre very strong and capable, moreso than most magic users, but you wouldn’t guess it. the only time they’d even consider showing it is in another’s defense

uses void tendrils like extra limbs. very functional! can hold many things (or offer many hugs) at once. may be slightly slimy though.

their cloak is very long and would probably benefit from being trimmed shorter but they absolutely refuse to let anyone touch it. its kinda grimy at this point and they trip a lot but don’t do anything about it

friends with a bunch of mossflies they picked up in the gardens! they all have names

can communicate with other void-creatures by sharing some of their own void! this was discovered entirely by accident but very useful, if awkward to explain

sure they’re kinda timid and like being on their lonesome, but they’re also very level-headed and friendly, and get along very well with low-energy quieter sorts of people especially

ruth is a small vessel rn/as far as i’ve worked out a timeline for! i know what they look like big but as far as the content on this blog currently goes theyre just .. smal

actual infant. hadnt actually been wandering out of the abyss that long before being dragged up to the colosseum to fight for sport

really doesnt have much of a clue how to act at first, other than ‘stab things before they stab you’

their name comes from ‘ruthless’, a nickname they got in the colosseum because they literally did not (appear to) give two shits whether they lived or died in battle. they’d just come back, anyway

scratch was the one that found them flinging a nail around and immediately went ‘oh thats a baby. this is bad, actually’

for the first short while of freedom scratch is the only one they’ll let even get close to them, and pretty much clings to them relentlessly. not a moments rest

they were actually pretty badly infected by the time they were broken out but theyre better now (another long story)

doesn’t have a natural cloak - it was ripped out and never grew back in. they make do though! their ‘new’ one was made from part of scratch’s that they ripped off and fixed together. they love it more than anything

once they actually figured out not everyone was out to kill them they stopped fighting back, and became a lot more curious and lively in general

still has a very warped and guarded sense of trust, however

kinda iffy around weapons and reacts badly to confrontation but does eventually learn to fight again (just.. in a better way)

pretty short even when grown, and going by height alone is the shortest when they’re all big

likes picking up pretty trinkets and things and carrying them around. has a few tied to their horns (as well as many pockets)

i have just now decided that spite counts as well! they dont actually survive to adulthood in any timeline i have currently (sorry spite) so big spite is entirely a theoretical but theyre fun to draw so

now spite? spite wins the babiest baby award

has one single braincell that bounces around their shell like a windows screensaver

their name indicates they are capable of feeling any negative emotion or hatred which is entirely untrue. by the time this was figured out they already wouldn’t answer to anything else

absolutely no sense of self-preservation or common sense. they are, in most regards, a very cute and very stupid dog

got lost on their way out of the abyss the first time around, ended up in the lighthouse and met friend mori!! was almost caught but eventually smuggled out and away

spent a lot of the time on the run in city of tears with said friend who was pretty much presumed dead by then. got taken in by a family, enjoyed themselves for a while

…but were eventually caught and thrown right back into the abyss along with mori killing them both for real this time. unfortunately.

cut to MANY years later and oops! their shade fused with the corpse and for some ungodly reason theyre both alive. time for the worst buddy comedy ever ft. literal pile of goop and body parts

spite does not seem to know nor care that theyre dead however

mostly happy to sit up there on mori’s shell and nap for hours at a time or fiddle with literally anything in reach. give them a cool rock and they’ll be entertained for hours. they are but a simple creacher

1. My family and friends- I'm very close to all my 5 younger siblings, and to both of my parents. I can talk to them about anything and everything, and know that they're always here for me. And I know most of my friends for 10-15 years (the majority of my life lol) 💖💖

2. Music- I don't know if any of you get this feeling, but when I discover new songs that I like, knowing I might get to listen to them while working out/ doing chores/ when listening to music on the bus/ anywhere, when my playlist is on shuffle, is one of the best feelings in the world 🙃 (plus!!! my favorite artists always encourage and others to love ourselves and so many other values [* cough cough* mr. Bang Christopher Chan and skz in general * cough *], so it's not just music, it's about everything about it..)

3. Books- one of my favorite things to do is reading some good books, and another great feeling is when I visit my best friend (who has like all the best books in the world) and take more than one book, knowing that when I'm done with one of them, there's another one waiting for me ✨✨

4. Embroidery (and drawing/ painting and stuff tbh)- when I was like 5 years old, my mom bought me these cute "embroidery for kids" thing (big needle made of plastic etc.), and taught me how to do these (fun fact: I also used to know how to knit, but unfortunately forgot how to:\). So thanks to quarantine, I was able to get back to it and even did (a very simple) one (so I know it's not perfect) on one of my shirts:

Food and working out- (almost) last but not least, I put these two together because I LOVE eating and good food makes me super happy!!! but if I don't work out I don't really feel good about myself? And I'm not even talking about how I feel bloated and stuff, it's just that I feel a bit down and I get sensitive (I don't even know???) And I'm in love with the post-workout feeling 💪💪

6. I really had to add this one because, though I haven't done this for a while, it's something that really makes me happy so- I really love doing charity work/ volunteering or just helping people in general? 🙈🙈 it just that when I see their smiles and knowing I did something good for someone just warms my heart and makes me feel so good.. I still talk to one of the girls I used to help and she’s just the cutest :)

heyyyyy!!! i’m sorry i forgot to answer this yesterday i’m big dumb klasdfjlaksf i’m sorry fam that you’re struggling! i am not good at self-care BUT here are some tips i guess:

do physical acts of self care - like a mask! not like masquerade masks but skincare masks. skincare is something i’ve always been horrible at, like i never really take care of my skin, but one time i was sobbing in the shower and then i decided to #treatmyself and i did a mask. it wasn’t a sheet mask, it was an expensive mask that i bought on vacation. it made me feel so good? like i felt cleansed, weirdly enough. also doing masks forces you to sit/lie there and do nothing for a short period of time which is good for relaxation anyway! also conditioning your hair is something i love doing? when your hair feels silky smooth it’s truly chef’s kiss ngl.

watch a comfort movie - some of my comfort movies include the cat returns by studio ghibli and... well i can’t recall anything else. i also highly recommend the cat returns, it’s quite mellow and funny, and the plot doesn’t get so dramatic that my mood gets affected. the cat returns is about this girl who saves a cat from traffic. turns out that cat is a prince in the kingdom of cats and she gets carted off by the cats into the kingdom so she can marry the prince. a super handsome cat will have to rescue her before she becomes a cat! another movie i can currently think of is the polar express. anyway any childhood movie can be a comfort movie. i love movies that are comfortable. // you can also read a comfort book, watch a comfort tv show/cartoon, listen to a comfort album/playlist. 

distract yourself with something funny - a funny movie/tv show? tumblr memes? dad jokes/@badjokesbyjeff? go for it! sometimes i’m very stressed and upset but looking at /r/tumblr posts helps me relax a bit, often because they’re hilarious and i laugh and forget what i was stressed about.

journal/draw - i love writing in the journaling sense. it’s very therapeutic to just write what you’re feeling, what thoughts are going through your head, what your current hopes and dreams and goals are, what you’re currently struggling with etc. and i think doodling also helps? like when you’re completely not judging what you’re making, that can be helpful. i like writing random words in cursive and then making them into faux calligraphy (where you make the downstrokes look thicker as if they were drawn with brushes and stuff). draw stick figures if that helps you relax! write wacky little poems! vent to no one in particular! write vengeful letters to people you hold grudges towards that you’ll never send! you don’t always have to be creating for an audience. sometimes you just need to do something creative for you and yourself only. like i record me singing for no reason. 

idk if this counts as a self care strategy, but when i’m completely stuck in a rut, and feeling utterly unproductive and feeling all that self-hatred, guilt and self-pity washing in, i try to make to-do lists that break down every bigger task into a smaller task. and i try to trick myself into doing a task. the smallest task will do. sometimes you need that push, that “oh i can do this, i’m not failing” and you’ll be in a better headspace. try not to focus too much on what you did/didn’t do in the past, try to focus on the time you have left. also talk to a friend? venting to no one in particular is good for getting it out your system but also talking to someone is equally good?

Ok I'm sorry I'm asking a lot of questions. Do you think Jaime has a stronger feminine side/is more in touch with his feminine side then most guys in westeros due to his hella close relationship with cersei? And if so, how does it manifest itself in his thoughts/feelings/actions/beliefs? Also, do you think Jaime thinks about women in general differently then other men due to his relationship with cersei? (Btw I've also sent a similar q to queenaly to see what she has to say - is that ok?)

I thought about this for a few days, and I guess I’m not sure what it means for Jaime to be “in touch with his feminine side”? What is a feminine side, exactly?

For example, when Jaime and Cersei switched places as children, Jaime might have picked up a few skills that are considered more “traditionally feminine” like sewing – but Tyrion knows how to sew as well, and he specifically says he enjoys needlework, so could we also say that Tyrion is also more in touch with his feminine side? And Jaime occasionally dressed in Cersei’s clothes as a child, but Samwell was also dressed in women’s clothing as a child, so does that make him more “in touch with his feminine side”? 

So I guess I don’t think it has to do with activities or clothing. But I don’t know if the conventional definition of being “in touch with his feminine side” has to do with those things?

I’m literally gonna go google “in touch with his feminine side meaning” because I don’t know how else to approach this?

Lack of aggression - ohhhh boy, definitely not Jaime

An Open, Emotional Personality - No? Jaime’s rather emotionally guarded? It took him ~16 years to open up about killing Aerys.

Typically (traditionally) feminine interests - No. Jaime likes “swords and dogs and horses”. He “thirsts for battle” 

Effeminate or Non-Masculine Appearance - No. “This is what a king should look like.” 

“To qualify a character must have a large percentage of these traits and/or have their effeminate-ness be remarked on in-universe“ - No.

Imma say no, not in touch with his feminine side by this definition. 

But I think this feminine side/masculine side thing is kinda BS to begin with 

(women aren’t athletic? Catelyn Stark wasn’t ready to murder people with her bare hands on behalf of her family? Women have a monopoly on emotions now? See, this is BS) 

so let’s try a slightly different question:

Compared to the average male, does Jaime have a better understanding of the female experience in Westeros, given his incestuous relationship with his twin sister?

I think not.

Westeros systemically denies women their humanity. Even a queen is worth so much less to Westeros. 

I don’t think Jaime could ever understand what it was like for Cersei to have her body commodified and sexualized since childhood, to be wedded off without any say at all, to be raped as often as Robert liked, whenever he liked, without any recourse at all. 

I don’t think Cersei ever shared or expressed these things to Jaime, either. For example, I don’t think Cersei ever told Jaime how Robert would hurt her: “Never on the face before. Jaime would have killed him, even if it meant his own life.” If Robert had hit Cersei in an obvious place that wasn’t covered up by clothes, one that Jaime could see, Jaime would have flown into a murderous rage. So Cersei has to hide that shit.

(I guess this is an unpopular opinion, but I think Cersei is very guarded, even around Jaime? Like, I don’t think she confides everything to him. She never told him about the valonqar, she didn’t tell him about Robert’s abuse, she didn’t want to tell Jaime about Rhaegar as a child when she was drawing that picture. And same goes for Jaime - Jaime didn’t tell Cersei about the wildfire / killing Aerys. Even in his own POV, Jaime leaves so much unsaid to Cersei / says it only to us. How close are Jaime and Cersei, really?)

(God, I sound like an anti! Sorry! But my love for Cersei and Jaime derives from the tragedy of their relationship. Their misconceptions. The ways they hurt each other. The intensity of their love and hate. Their mutually-assured destruction. Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold….) 

Also. There’s this passage in AFFC, and it has one of my favorite lines:

“I took her on Raymun Darry’s bed after stepping over Robert. If His Grace had woken I would have killed him there and then. He would not have been the first king to die upon my sword … but you know that story, don’t you?” He slashed at a tree branch, shearing it in half. “As I was fucking her, Cersei cried, ‘I want.’ I thought that she meant me, but it was the Stark girl that she wanted, maimed or dead.” The things I do for love. “It was only by chance that Stark’s own men found the girl before me. If I had come on her first …”

“As I was fucking her, Cersei cried, ’I want.’

Jaime thinks he understands, he thinks Cersei wanted something as simple as one dead child. 

I don’t think he understands at all. 

Cersei’s wants are so deep, so vast, that she doesn’t even have the words to articulate them. “I want _______.” 

Cersei wants everything, she wants it all, everything that’s been denied to her. 

And Jaime’s had all these things. They all came so easily to him that he valued them very little. 

“You were Robert’s queen. And yet you won’t be mine.”

I really don’t think Jaime understands at all.

(If anyone understands what it’s like to be Cersei, and what a precarious position she’s in, I think that’s Tyrion. Cersei was denied, because she is a woman. Tyrion is denied because he is not able bodied. Like, there’s this quote of Tyrion’s in AGOT: 

“Tyrion wondered what it would be like to have a twin, and decided that he would rather not know. Bad enough to face himself in a looking glass every day. Another him was a thought too dreadful to contemplate.”

That’s one reason why Cersei and Tyrion hate each other. They’re twins, in a way. It’s hard enough for each to face himself/herself. Cersei and Tyrion facing each other … “too dreadful to contemplate.”)

So how does Jaime’s complete lack of understanding of the female experience manifest itself?

In really gross ways tbh:

Sansa Stark, that ought to put a smile on Tyrion’s face. He remembered how happy his brother had been with his little crofter’s daughter … for a fortnight.

When Jaime hears that Tyrion has married Sansa, he thinks nothing about how Sansa was a hostage, married off into the family who murdered her father. He thinks nothing about a little girl, not yet 13 years old, being forced into a relationship where she must always be available for sexual intercourse with a member of the family who murdered her father. 

Literally all Jaime’s think of is, “Way to go, bro!”

Sure, in very obvious cases of rape, Jaime is against it. For example, he wants to protect Rhaella from her husband, because he could hear her crying out. Jaime’s not 100% awful. 

But it didn’t really bother him that Sansa could have been raped on her wedding night. 

And now he wants to smash Cersei’s teeth in, because she’s slept with other people. He’s mad at her, because she hasn’t been faithful, without understanding that Cersei never had the luxury of being faithful to Jaime. 

Jaime’s misogynistic. He’s not as bad as someone like Randyll Tarly, but that’s setting the bar pretty damn low.

it is a book about a dying teacher and student and meaning of life this book is v emotional and very easy and short to read i felt like Morrie is was my teacher too and i cried this let me recommend to you also another book about dying professor too and his massage to his children which isThe Last Lecture BY Randy Pausch I read it last year i believe it is very good book i apologize in advance for the tears u will  be pouring after reading these two hehehehe let’s move on i read also first book of raven boys check it out now im in process of reading the second one. that all what i read. now let me tell you about some good documentaries i have watched first if u are a person like me who always searching about what does it mean to have a passion on making certain things like drawing or writing or programming or designing what is that thing that let people work like crazy w/o limitations or get tried of it u must watch

it is about Hayao Miyazaki if u don’t know how is Miyazaki im really ashamed of youjust kidding hehehehehe look it up friend.

now my favorite ending let’s talk about music i just realize how much i appreciate Art and music i can’t tell you how much of my life is around this area i don’t consider myself a writer  pre say tbh honest although i like expressing thoughts no matter if they are cheerful or depressing i just like to see words is that what u like  me to tell you?yeah i know my writing is sucks but i just like hitting this keyboard avoiding interactions w other humans i just like to praise my thoughts hehehehe idk honestly i just feel i have to see my thoughts in physical way to respect them more i can’t tell you about what im experiencing bc u will never understand me and this is not bc of u personally oh no friend it is bc of me im really odd person as u might noticed i built a relationship here w u just by calling u my dear reader a friend truth to be told i appreciate anyone reading my posts no matter what even if they don’t know me or me don’t know them it is enough for me to know that someone out there took time and effort to read this very bad post this bc of that i thought to myself that l have to treat those who are interested in my ideas in special way than others just let me clarify i only assume that u are interested in this im not positive u could be reading this for any reason but i like to think that u are my dear reader are intersected  because that keep me happy heheheheh anyhow music yes music is the background of all u see here music is the soul of my day i listen to music everyday i learned many things from music currently im strongly into twenty one pilots aka a constant heart attack just pick any song by them and listen to it u will be cursed forever w fondness of them. end of post be productive be alert to opportunities and remember dark hours and essential for meaningful life!!!!!!
