I'll never agree with the short Peeta/tall Katniss takes because their canonical sizes are both narratively and thematically relevant.
Peeta's medium height and stocky build give him the size and strength to overpower most of his competitors in the arena, yet he rarely uses those traits to hurt people despite being in circumstances that encourage violence. Having the power and motive to be deadly and choosing to be kind instead is what defines Peeta's character.
Katniss's small size generally puts her at a disadvantage in the Games but she's still very deadly. I like that she's earned the skills (bow and arrow, hunting) and survivor mentality that make her a formidable tribute because she's not supposed to be this naturally gifted "chosen one" type figure. She's a regular teenage girl who has some special qualities but still needs a lot of help to win the Games.
Their size difference is also relevant in their relationship. Katniss has had to take care of herself since she was a young girl because of her mother's neglect, and as a result she doesn't trust other people to protect her. She's understandably mistrustful of Peeta's kindness when they become tributes, as one of them has to die for the other to live and he has the ability to kill her with his bare hands if he wants to (which we see later on when he's hijacked). Yet once they become allies, his larger size is no longer a potential threat but a source of comfort and protection; being held by him is the safest Katniss has felt with anyone since her parents held her as a little kid. And after they leave the arena, his strong arms are the only ones she trusts to guard her from her nightmares.
So even though I do think short guy-tall girl couples deserve more rep, it doesn't really make sense for Peeta and Katniss. And tbh viewing the gentle and compassionate boy as short and the tough hunter girl as tall is a little stereotypical lol.

today i found a plant growing in an alleyway downtown that gave me this delightful little seed pod that looks like a little banana about an inch long but it splits down the front to reveal hundreds of flat little seeds with little papery wings seed wings and theyre all stuffed into neat rows in a way that makes the pod look like an overfull expanding file and if you run your finger over it seeds fall out. the plant had like 6 of them going overhanging this one sidewalk and some of them were huge, like multiple inches long. anyway plants are still just making stuff outside it seems

Prompt 199
“Where the fuck are my legs?”
Danny wasn’t happy. It wasn’t funny! Usually he just had a ghost tail when flying really fast, like super speed, not all the time! It’s not funny Clockwork, you’re used to having a tail, he isn’t!
What do you mean it’s permanent?! He needs his legs! Clockwork!! He wouldn’t have agreed to the adoption if he knew he’d lose his legs!
…Okay, that was a lie, Clockwork was a great parent who encouraged his chaos and enjoyed screwing over assholes like the Observants. But still! He looks like some sort of snake person now! No he doesn’t want a nap, he’s not a baby!
Clockwork, why are you being quiet? He’s not a baby! He’s not a baby, right? What do you mean all ghosts are babies until they’re a hundred years dead!? But he’s a halfa- what do you mean it takes longer for Ancients?!
No he doesn’t want that nap, he’s having a midlife crisis here several years too early!

First 2 pics and the last were done at different times, but they're during the same bit. At first it was just gonna be Jayce dealing with that alone and I almost scrapped it, but having Lucy there to help him deal and clean up made me think to maybe keep it anyway! X'D Definitely a sucker for these kind of scenes.
Basically his glamour started wearing out and got a tear and then he was barely able to get away to the public bathroom at a restaurant before it went haywire and broke loose, letting his huge form out fully... Really bad timing. Esp bc they're out with Lucy's parents and meeting them for the first time lol Poor Jayce. They still try to salvage things from here, but it is later into the story when things are getting worse for him and his form with the Dread.
Also in the last pic, Lucy was trying to help and got her forehead cut on one of his spikes trying to get in closer and he demanded to see the damage and inspect it closer, even tho he's clearly got more going on than a scrape atm, but he wants to make sure she's ok!!

“the chief surgeon and his chief mourner”
[image ID: fanart of characters from the TV show, MASH. it shows father mulcahy and surgeon hawkeye pierce leaning at the edge of an operating table near the end of a recent wave of operating, as the background appears mostly empty and the table behind them is unoccupied. the table they’re at is occupied by a blanketed body. mulcahy leans with his chin in his hands with a despondent expression. hawkeye grips the white sheet with a severe look and blood on his white scrubs. mulcahy wears the purple stole he uses for rites—presumably he just delivered the dead soldier’s last rites. end ID]
so i know the 4077th has a 90%+ efficiency rate but like if a MASH unit can process hundreds at a time how many last rites do you think mulcahy gave by the end. do you think it’s more than any other. do you think that just after giving thanks for his bread, what he prayed for most was soothing the dying. hey what’s with being drafted as a psychopomp huh

Oh we need more of the tennis player yuuta.
so true we do. a match was cancelled and rescheduled due to inclement weather, which is fine, it happens occasionally. except, the reschedule interferes with your work trip, which is how yuuta ends up with your baby boy in his lap at his pre-match press conference. yuuta was worried at first, your son definitely wouldn’t be used to the cameras and reporters, and it was also seven in the morning, so he really hoped the baby wouldn’t become too irritated, but all his worrying was for nothing.
your baby boy didn’t seem to the mind the cameras, or the large crowd of people, his father was right there to hold him through the entire thing. with them side by side like this, their similarities really show; their droopy eyelids and tired expression, the occasional slow blinking when they’re confused or in thought, the same nose scrunch that makes everybody coo when it happens. one reporter mentions you by name, and that makes the otherwise sleepy baby perk and babble “mama” into the microphone instinctively, which melts everybody’s hearts, yuuta’s included, “that’s right, baby, that’s mama,” he coos, pinching his kid’s cheek before returning his attention to the reporter, “but, yeah, my wife—she’s great. she’s away on work right now, and we miss her a lot, but i’m so proud of her. i got to speak to her right before this conference actually, and she said she’d tune in when she could, so i hope she’s watching—wait, sorry, um… what was the question again?” (his rambling off about my wife my wife my wife is not new. it happens in every conference and interview, he’s just a loverboy through and through).
during the match, it’s dead silent when yuuta’s about to serve and then there’s the tiniest cry of “dada,” just as he’s about the throw the ball up, which makes him smile and stop and turn to his son, and the entire crowd coos. yuuta is not too proud to blow a kiss before going to serve again.
