Getting high is a luxury just like wearing a coach purse. Why is everyone running around treating addiction like a birth defect or disability? We do drugs bc we want to. We do drugs because we have the means to pay for them. If a person is smart enough to get high why aren’t they smart enough to get a job or buy rent? Before I became an addict I was a people pleasing, minimum wage, dropout working multiple jobs to pay my rent. Since becoming an addict, I relocated, finished high school and just finished my first year in college. I even made the Presidents and I’ll be graduating with honors. Not bad for some dumb meth head huh lol The drugs are just like any thing else we chose to do. Not all of us have so much cushion to sit on. Not all of us have people lined up waiting on us to shit on them and move on to the next one, not all of us were taught how to lie to fit in and pretend to be better. Some of us live a life that never stops no matter how many times we jump. Being born ignorant is a chance, staying ignorant is encouraged, but proving ignorance is a whole new hell…

I’m so tired

Words of affirmation, in my opinion, is the worst love language to endure. For a couple reasons: One negative comment can tear me apart; someone saying nothing at all in response to something I’ve said is like saying something negative (again, tearing me apart); and I never want to let people know when this sort of thing upsets me because I don’t want them to feel bad.... 

So I’m stuck. Suffering. While my friends don’t know that their silence is hurting me more than I can say. I’m beginning to wonder, “are we ok?” “What did I do to make them decide this friendship is no longer worth nurturing or effort?” 

I’m lost in a sea of uncertainty and drowning in confusion. 

What happened?

What changed?

How did I wrong them?

I meant my words. I meant forever. I guess I was the only one. Wouldn’t be the first time.

No matter how many projects or things are done it’s always the same feeling after: What’s next? What’s next on the to do list that never ends? Let me tell you something I have finally put my mental, emotional and physical health first. I am getting so much better I can tell. But fuck! No one else seems to give a shit! Just because they are all unhappy doesn’t mean I am going to settle for that messed up shit life. I refuse to let them think they know what’s best for me when they are the main reason I’m a fucking mess! So everyone can fuck off!
