I'm sick and tired of having this conversation so I'll put my opinion out there and if you don't like it, there the door 🚪

Zuko was the one to cheat at the Agni Kai, not Azula

And I can already hear the antis coming at me so before you start yelling, read the whole thing carefully.

Zuko cheated because he had a teammate in a one on one duel. And plz don't say Katara wasn't his teammate because she walked into the arena to defend him, changing herself from an observer to a participant. To make it easier to understand, I decided to draw it out to y'all:

Those are some screenshots from the final Agni Kai. Do you notice those little tiles around the clean ground? Do you wanna know what they mean (at least from my point of view)?

Do you see it? Yes? Good! Let's do that again!

Do you see it it again? Great! Let's do this one last time, just to be safe shall we?

I know you see it this time! It's clear as day! Katara wasn't supposed to be standing there. She's is forfeiting and since if she were to fight she'd work with Zuko and against Azula, she is considered part of Zuko's team. So her cheating is Zuko's cheating too.

And don't try to pull any of that "she was already there" bullshit because...

...she was nowhere around Zuko before the forfeiting scene.

Now, I know some people are going to say stuff like "there wasn't an official arena so Katara could walk there" and here is what I have to say to you:

If you don't want to count the area as an arena then you can't count the fight as an Agni Kai since a designated dueling space is necessary.

And if it's not an Agni Kai then there weren't any rules to be broken, so why exactly are you attacking Azula for breaking a non-existent rule?

However, if you want to believe that the fight was an Agni Kai, you have to accept that the clear ground was the arena. To accept that is to also accept that Katara forfeited, causing Zuko to lose, either by tramming up and making her cheating his also or by needing him to save her from the lightning Azula was allowed to throw at her since she was participant.

In the end of the day, Zuko did get burned, Azula didn't, Katara cheated, Azula didn't. So how come people still believe Azula wasn't the winner?

To sum up, this is my opinion on the subject. I'm not posting it to cause an argument but to make people aware as to who they'll have to deal with if they interact with me. If you agree, good for you. If you don't, suck it up or leave cause I'm in no mood to talk about this again when I have already said everything I had to say. Now don't bother me about this ever again.

"Hero Critic Y/n of the Daily Post says number two hero Dynamite is 'not interesting enough' to write about"

It's a splashy headline from your interview with your longtime friend and colleague Shawn Collins, and you roll your eyes when you read the tweet. "That's not even what the interview is focused on. You're misleading your audience." You scolded over the phone, even though you're trying to quell the rush of anxiety in the pit of your stomach.

"It's not my fault Dynamite's fan base is so easily exploited. My editor said it would get views." You don't bother hiding your eye roll, not like he could see it anyway. "Besides, the interview was on your opinions of Japan's top heroes, and the only time you mentioned him was to say that. He's the number two hero, I have to point out the irony."

You scoff, but you're glad Shawn couldn't see the blush on your cheeks. Well, you think dryly, it's not like I could've put on the record why I really don't write about him.

"Still, you didn't have to insinuate that I thought Dynamite was uninteresting. That's not what I said."

It wasn't because you didn't see his flaws, didn't think he wasn't a hot-headed jackass, but you didn’t like feeling misrepresented. Because at the end of the day, no matter his downfalls, you felt nothing but adoration for the hero.

Well, adoration and a little bit horny, but either way, despite your reputation as a merciless hero critic, you didn't want any criticism about the number two hero to be published with your name attached. And you couldn't write praise about him either, not when you built your career on criticizing the hero industry.

"Well, people will see that when they watch the interview."

If they even bother, you think irritably. You could tell no matter what you said though, that he didn’t and wouldn't care enough about your qualms with the headline to change it. "Whatever. You're welcome for the interview." You said dryly, picking at your takeout.

"You still coming tomorrow?"

You sigh. You weren't entirely sure you wanted to get dressed up to go to the office party tomorrow, but you figured it'd be better than not going and being anti social. "Yeah, at eight, right?"

"Oi, Bakugo, did you see what that journalist said about you?" Denki said, approaching the bar with his phone raised.

Katsuki grunted, annoyed at his friend's obnoxious behavior. "I don't care what some extra has to say about me. Should be fucking grateful I'm so good at my job."

"Well, you may be good at it, but apparently, you're not very interesting." Mina said with a smirk a few seats down, having already seen the interview.

That caught his attention. A lot of words had been lobbed at him throughout his nearly ten year career, but uninteresting wasn't one of them. He was quiet as he took the phone from Denki, reading the headline. There it was in black and white, some journalist did think he was uninteresting. He wasn't sure why it pissed him off, that word, more than any of the other things he'd been called. No, he knew exactly why it pissed him off.

"S'not fuckin' true. What an idiot. Can't believe he gets paid to write garbage like this."

"Well, the one who wrote the article isn't the one who said it. It's the one who got interviewed."

"Who'd care to interview some idiot with this opinion?"

"Don't take it so personally, Bakugo," Kirishima said with an easy smile, clapping him on the shoulder. Bakugo made a face. "She burns all of us way more than she does you."

"Yeah, that stuff kinda hurts sometimes. I'd take uninteresting over incompetent." Denki said with a sigh.

Mina laughed. "Except everything she writes about you is true."

The two proceeded to bicker, but Bakugo was still pouting, swirling the amber liquor in his glass before finishing it off. "Whatever. If I ever see that damn reporter I'll chew her head off." He grumbled.

Kirishima let out a nervous laugh. "Watch what you say in public, Bakugo. Some people don't know when you're joking."

He was about to say he wasn't joking, that he would confront the extra who thought she was better than him, when Sero on his other side held up a picture of a woman.

"Well, this is her, if you're curious. I'd leave her alone if I were you, though. She may be a hero critic, but she has a pretty big following."

When he zeroed in on your face, it only took him a second to remember where he knew you from. His crimson eyes narrowed.

You took a sip of wine as you turned from the bar, surveying the ballroom, windows dressed in heavy golden curtains, adding a touch of extravagance that was too overstated for the office party. Though, you couldn’t turn your nose down at the open bar. Even though the event was to wine and dine Japan’s heroes, you were still surprised by how many pro heroes were here. You thought you’d even spotted Red Riot’s fiery red hair on your way over to the bar, probably the highest-ranking hero here.

After painfully dry conversation with some coworkers, you and Shawn broke off.

“How long do you think we have to stay before it’s okay to leave?” You wondered after a beat. Office parties weren’t really your thing. It was awkward, toeing the line of the you at the office and the you outside the office. You didn’t want people think that you were stiff, but one glass of wine too much and you’d end up fodder for workplace gossip.

Shawn laughed beside you. “You’ve been here less than an hour. At least put some mileage on that dress.”

You sighed, looking down at the navy evening dress. You suppose he had a point; it was expensive.

You opened your mouth to speak, when your eyes zeroed in on a hulking figure walking in your direction, crimson eyes narrowed. Your stomach dropped as Dynamite, the number two hero, approached you.

I fell into a rabbit hole of your metas and it's great stuff! But while reading your bits over the Southern Bloc I couldnt help notice something. In Dance(ithink) Barbrey Dustin speaks to Theon about her distrusts for the maesters and insuates that Rickard's Southron ambitions were groomed by the maester of that time. I doubt that GRRM wrote that for no reason, and in the your work I don't see any mention of the Maesters 1/2

(tbh I really wouldn't be surprised if we don't get to see anything substantial on the Maester conspiracy because of time and pacing in two books thanks to GrRm great scheduling bbtp) but do you think the Maesters have any important part on the Southron Bloc plans? Because if so, what would have been their greater goal?

P.S. and another thing! Rickard Starks ambition level is unusual in most of the historical Starks throughout the Targaryen dynasty. Two sons and a daughter connected to land beyond the Neck? I know you mentioned why Rickard would benefit from these relationships, but why did he think of this in The first place? Why did he think it was better to go against the Targaryens when they hadn't bothered with the North much at that point?

P.S. pt2: I really think it was the Maesters that low-key were pushing, for something, and they really needed to cinch Rickard in. Except that Dragons and magic no longer seem to exist, so why continue to erode the Targaryens away(their anti Martell agenda checks out, at least) even if Aegon IV had done what he wanted to do it's not like the Maesters would suffer or benefit either? Sorry, I accidently put myself in the rabbit hole. It's dark here. Bye

The short answer is that I really don't believe in any maester conspiracy explanation for the (as yet theorized) southron ambitions power bloc. I think that there are (again, potential) explanations for why Rickard Stark (and, by extension, Jon Arryn and Hoster Tully) acted as they did which are not dependent on, or even really explained by, a united conspiracy of maesters puppeteering various paramount lords. I am not saying there has never been any greater schemes among maesters ever, only that I believe this specific group of marital and fostering alliances was the product of the aristocratic men involved rather than their maesters.

Number one, I think Barbrey Dustin's comments regarding maesters should be taken with a heavy grain of salt. I don't mean that Barbrey is stupid, far from it, but rather that Barbrey is a woman with very specific grievances and very specific sources of blame for those grievances. Because Barbrey believes that she loved Brandon and that Brandon loved her, she needs a way to explain the failure of her romantic desires that does not blame either herself or Rickard and Brandon Stark (since, after all, Barbrey's goal was to become a Stark herself). This is, after all, the same Barbrey who asserts that Brandon never wanted to marry Catelyn, despite the fact that Brandon fought a duel with (and nearly killed) the person who challenged him for Catelyn's hand and explicitly affirmed his commitment to Catelyn, to Catelyn, before he left for King's Landing. Accordingly, villainizing Rickard's old maester (who was both a foreigner - that is, not a northerner - and a bastard, with all the accompanying prejudice there) and Catelyn Tully (another foreigner to the North) allows Barbrey to create a narrative in which she, Brandon, and Rickard did no wrong and naturally (to her) untrustworthy people can serve as scapegoats instead. Barbrey is a smart and canny woman, but she is as much subject to bias and prejudice as any other character, and given those very apparent biases I am reluctant to simply accept what Barbrey says about maesters as true.

Now, could there be a secondary reason the author included this perspective from Barbrey? Just as the story Godric Borrell tells of the fisherman's daughter and the story Edric Dayne tells of Wylla the wet nurse are both (almost certainly) objectively wrong accounts which nevertheless support the true proposition that there is a greater mystery to be revealed about Jon Snow's mother, so perhaps Barbrey Dustin's antipathy toward maesters is wrongly justified but intended to catch readers' attention to a more general point. Perhaps the author wants to suggest here that there is something a bit underhanded happening with some maesters, just not politically - that is, that individual historical maesters probably helped finish off the Targaryen dragons, and that few modern maesters recognize the potency (and danger) of magic (an attitude which will be immediately, and fatally, undone when Euron shows up to take over Oldtown).

I think it is also important to contextualize Rickard in his time and place. Certainly, it was the case that few (although some) Starks had married outside the North, at least so far as we have the Stark family tree - which, by the way, was as much true for a family like the Lannisters (whose marriages from Damon Lannister through the present day were almost exclusively with other Westerlands Houses), and probably as much true for families like the Tullys and Arryns as well - but it was also very unusual, indeed virtually unique, for all the senior commanders of Westeros to meet in a single space to war against a foreign invading army, which is exactly what happened during the War of the Ninepenny Kings - a war in which RIckard almost certainly served as Warden of the North. This was the perfect opportunity for Rickard to meet his fellow Warden Jon Arryn, as well as senior Riverlands commanders Hoster and Brynden Tully - and if they may not have finalized their entire geopolitical strategy and ambition in that moment (which would have been impossible to do anyway, given that Robert Baratheon, the Stark boys, and the Tully girls did not then exist), they certainly had the chance to discuss their opinions on the current state of the kingdom and build the foundations of their allegiance and mutual regard for one another.

And indeed, it's specifically not the case that the Targaryens "hadn't really bothered with the North much at that point" - quite the opposite, I think Targaryen action and inaction toward the North may have been a major source of grievance that motivated Rickard's participation in this alliance bloc. Remember that when the North needed help during the reign of Aerys I - when Dagon Greyjoy decided to make the west coast of Westeros his playground for pillaging and reaving - the Iron Throne specifically, consciously did nothing. That purposeful inaction directly betrayed part of the feudal promise enshrined when the Targaryen kingdom was formed: in return for the homage and and military service promised by the Iron Throne’s vassals, the Iron Throne agreed to protect those vassal families when they could not protect themselves - when, in fact, the realm itself was threatened. If the Iron Throne had probably (through Maekar) eventually intervened to solve the Dagon problem, Rickard’s great-grandfather Beron and his sons had learned the hard way that the Iron Throne’s commitment to its protective obligations was at best dependent on the personality of the monarch on the throne (and/or the monarch’s chief advisor). That’s not a lesson that I think Rickard - who was ruling barely half a century later - would necessarily have forgotten, or not considered in his political decisions and ambitions. If the Iron Throne ignored its individual vassals' plight without compunction, perhaps the way to make the dynasty listen - to ensure the Dagon problem could not happen again, in other words - was to unite as a bloc with other great Houses, the better to force the dynasty's notice.

Nor might the Starks have appreciated the opposite end of the Targaryens’ exercise of royal power - that is, under Aegon V, whose stated goal as king was to curtail lordly power by "grant[ing] rights and protections to the commons that they had never known before". It is unclear as yet how the Starks felt about Aegon V's program of reforms, yet it is certainly the case that unidentified other lords deeply resented the king's actions, even going so far as to describe him as "a bloodyhanded tyrant intent on depriving us of our gods-given rights and liberties". Indeed, this had not been the first time the Targaryens had intervened in the North to remove traditional privileges of the Starks and their vassals, since under Jaehaerys I the crown had both forced Winterfell to donate lands of its vassals to the Night's Watch and removed the right to the first night (across the continent, to be sure, but even Barth specifically noted at the time that "some lords [would] surely grumble at this [i.e. the end to the first night], especially in the North"); moreover, at least the first of those royal decisions seems to have caused deep resentment among some of the Starks. It's possible, therefore, that Rickard (who may have come into his lordship toward the end of Aegon's reign) agreed that the crown could not simply (metaphorically speaking) stomp into the North and start making demands on those rights which Aegon I had long ago promised to protect.

All of this, I think, may have culminated in an expression of frustration when the various Westerosi commanders met during the War of the Ninepenny Kings. If the Iron Throne had failed to uphold its end of the feudal bargain, in the eyes of these lords, it was now nevertheless demanding that its vassals still provide theirs - fighting for the crown at the summons of the king, to keep the king on the Iron Throne against the ambitions of a foreign challenger. For the first time, the Targaryen dynasty had left a major war entirely to the execution of its vassals, expecting that those families whose ancestors had bent the knee to the Targaryens would lead the charge against the Blackfyre forces (while the sickly king retired in the capital and his young heir served as a mere squire). Why, men like Rickard, Jon, Hoster, and Brynden might have wondered, were they giving their blood and sweat - and the blood and sweat of their vassals in turn - for a dynasty which had decided that the feudal bargain meant little or nothing when it came to the Targaryens' responsibilities? If once the answer had been dragons, that answer was no longer true over a century after the death of the last dragon; I think the Starks, Tullys, and Arryns may have realized that, with the balance of power irrevocably (or so they thought) shifted, now was the time to ally together, the better to rewrite the feudal playbook in a way which better recognized their power and authority.

Conversely, and to the point you made, I do not see any reason why the maesters (assuming all maesters would even act for a single purpose, which I think is simply wrong) would have any desire to encourage these specific marriage and fostering arrangements. Even if we start with the idea that "the Maesters ... were pushing, pushing, for something, and they really needed to cinch Rickard in", what exactly was the end goal here? As you yourself note, it could not have been the extinction of the dragons (which had not existed for almost 150 years by this point), and there seems to have been no animosity on a political level between the Citadel and the Targaryen dynasty, certainly not by this time (indeed, the Citadel's representative enjoyed a place at the right hand of the monarch, as Grand Maester).

That being said, a Jimin report page recently had to to give up their account because all the Jimin hate was beginning to affect her mentally. So I understand not everyone is as strong. Not everyone can handle confrontation. I totally get that..

But I do feel like if we back eo up, people would feel more confident in not deleting their shit or running into hiding. But we don't fight these people back and so they have gotten over confident. Jikookers need to unite more. Defend more. Like anon, this is how I feel. Tkkrs basically control twitter fandom rn. The few REAL ot7 accounts left that are not undercover tkkrs are terrified of these people. Absolutely terrified. Some translation accounts won't even translate when JK says something about Jimin. That's how bad it is.

honest question but like why does it annoy you so much that people are anti nine/rose or tentoo/rose? like I'm just curious. some people just don't like the way rose's story ended or don't ship ninerose. why do they bother you so much?

because doctor/rose is my most... not saying i ship them more than mulder and scully but their relationship means a great amount to me in a way that others don't because their writing from beginning to end is all so intentional and well written that i don't think it's fair to only ship tenrose and completely disregard what makes their relationship what it is.

tenrose only works because they fell in love in s1, because he died loving her and was born out of his love for her and humanity, seperating that from ten leads to a complete misunderstanding of his character, his need to be human and his relationship with rose which leads to people disliking tentoorose. it's all connected, it's a cohesive story with a beginning a middle and an end.

people hating tentoorose frustrates me because it was a long planned ending, one that is foreshadowed the entire time and that makes the most sense for their relationship while also driving in the core message of doctor who- that being human is a gift.

i don't like people picking and choosing parts of rose or their relationship to justify, frankly, incorrect readings of their relationship. we see rose say the traveling doesn't matter, we see her be excited at the prospect of settling down with him, we see her beg him not to regenerate. yet tentoorose antis act like their ending is something out of the blue when it's not. they take the power and happiness away from her when rtd intentionally shifted the je scene to give her all the control and choose tentoo. which is important because it's rare in media, especially with mortal/immortal ships for the man to become human and for the narrative to be as deeply kind to them as it was to rose. where she gets everything she wanted: her parents, a larger purpose defending the earth and to grow old with the doctor. all of those things are really special because usually it's the other way around. usually it's bella becomes a vampire, etc.

i don't like how people characterize rose as someone who would throw tentoo aside and treat him like shit, because this is the same character who showed compassion to a dalek. she is not a cold or cruel person to anyone. this is the same person who could not seperate au pete from her dad.

and like, of course people can do whatever they want on their blogs, but people cross tag this stuff, they put anti tentoorose fics in the tentoorose tag, etc. and that is incredibly annoying to see. which leads to the venting! i never hijack posts, leave mean reviews on fics that i think are ooc or anything but i have to express my feelings somewhere lol

a rant/series of ideas

So I've posted these on SB before but to put it simply, the phandom is stagnant. The same ideas are repeated over and over again mixed up but too similar to tell apart. Over on ao3s dp crossover section I've noticed a ton of these stories are created after the author reads a prompt here so I figured I'd gather the posts I've made on SB and post them here in hopes those authors can see them. I'm just copy/pasting these so they will look weird as they were originally posted on SB and I can't be bothered to edit them.

So yall know how d.c. crossovers are really common. Well I just had a small idea to add to the list of why heroes don't usually kill, batman especially. Obsessions can help make ghosts and few people are more obsessed than villains, the heroes know this and don't want to risk powering up their rogue gallery more, especially since hell is real and as we saw with deathstroke/slade it's easy to make deals and return. Just another angle to add for those crossovers. Last thing anyone wants is a ghost/demon empowered joker running around.

We have tons of danny phantom dc crossovers but not a single one has Cujo join the super pets for adventures. This is a crime that should be rectified immediately. Best pup should be allowed to play with Ace and Krypto and fight animal crimes.

What aren't there any stories where danny is in the marvels zombies storyline, or dceased, or blackest night, or even the new dc vs vampires storyline.

Why are almost all horror stories about him being tortured when there are perfectly good zombie apocalypses he can fight in. I'd love to see danny wield a black lantern ring and be in total control because he's already dead and as such doesn't need to eat hearts to gain power.

I'd love to see danny get bite by a vampire only for them to taste what's basically deadmans blood. We need less secret sibling, torture filled, betrayal fics and more danny pulling a doomslayer and fighting trigons armies when he invades.

Pariah Dark pulling amity into the gz would have gotten international attention just like cannon. Something that's brought up but never really explored are meta humans rights clashing with the anti ecto laws, I'd love to see the various magic users testifying in congress, debunking the fentons beliefs that ghosts aren't people and as such deserve the same rights as everyone else.

Also I'd love to see walker put in control of arkham, blackgate, or Belle reve. He'd have those places on lockdown, and the thought of the joker trying to escape only for walker to toss him back in his cell is hilarious to me.

All these DC crossovers but not one shows an alternate danny in the justice lords, injustice, or crime syndicate version of the league.

I'm tired of rereading the same stuff, let me read about an evil crime boss danny or one who rules over the GZ like how the justice lords rule earth, or one that sides with superman after metropolis gets nuked. So many alternate worlds, timelines, and dimensions to choose from and they always pick the same ones.

Forget JLU, YJ, or TT let me see danny in the justice league dark apocalypse war movie as a trigon possed Dan Phantom and have him fight Darksied

The infinite realms is so underutilized in the dc crossovers, and just the phandom in general.

You have an entire dimension that can take you any when and anywhere you want/don't want and you don't use it to let superman meet his parents before krypton blows up, or any other orphan superhero for that matter.

Hell you don't have to save his family, you can set up a stable time loop where this meeting is what convinced them to send him to earth rather then any of kryptons dying colonies.

Let's see more, superheroes deal with ghostly shit rather then Danny runs away/moves to Gotham for the 30th time. Like lets say the flash has to deal with Kitty and Johnny joy riding in Central city but he can't touch them or freakshow stops in Gotham and kidnaps Jason since the phandom is obsessed with making him a halfa or halfa adjacent. So much potential and none of it explored!

So, yall know how the phandom likes to make ectoplasm an emotional conduit. Where ghosts either can feel / feed on emotions and ectoplasm can have emitions without being a ghost, usually when talking about the pit rage Jason has in the DC stories. Well, let's roll with that and add the Emotional Entities that the lantern corps use.

If ghosts feed on emotions then the lanterns are basically walking snacks, if they sense emotions then the lanterns are walking flash bangs, and if ectoplasm can have emotions then let's have some ghosts get lantern rings simply because they are emotions given physical forms.

I've been out of the fandom for awhile and I occasionally check in on Inuyasha reddit just bc I am bored and was a huge fan in younger days.

It's never not funny how casual viewers still come in and point out how they don't like sessrin or how weird/ gross it is and sessrinners are fighting tooth and nails to defend their ship. This shit is funny af.

Like after a few years of the sequel, if you still have to constantly defend your position and be on edge....then maybe..perhaps... just maybe...your ship is gross and wrong not matter what way you spin it.

Like that's not just toxic. That's some cult/religions zealot type behavior. Like going to a neighbor to try and intimidate them out of the neighborhood cause of who they are. This is one of the worst ship fandoms I've witnessed along things like the Steven Universe one or fandoms like Reylo. Oh, and don't get me started that even if you block them they find ways to still stalk you to report back to the others.

We've been putting this off for too long it's time to make something. We'll edit this as time goes on. For now, basic info and a list of current headmates. It should be a pretty decent frame of reference for our system, account, and individual headmates.

It's gonna get long so I'm gonna drop a read-more here.

We're traumagenic, probably an OSDD system but not diagnosed. We are pro-endo and will block anti-endo blogs. So if you've got a problem with endogenic systems, get out. You don't know them better than they do.

We won’t block you outright but if you reblog a lot of content from anti-endo users that isn’t outright anti-endo (like generic system experiences with a “endos dni” tag on it), we won’t follow back. We have “anti endo,” “endos dni,” and similar tags filtered so it shows us even if your repost doesn’t have those tags. We have them filtered because anti-endo people suck and we don’t want to accidentally reblog something from them in case endos follow us!

On that topic, we're also supportive of xenogenders, neopronouns, otherkin, and other stuff like that. Bigotry will not be tolerated even if we don't have someone in our system who identifies with a certain label.

We don't have a full DNI list yet but it's kinda the usual for the most part, don’t be a dick or a bigot.

We tend to dislike blocking people since we want people to be allowed to speak, but if we say we’re done with an argument and that we’ll start blocking people who try to continue it, we mean it. That’s something we have to do for our mental health and if one member of the system doesn’t start blocking people to end an argument, someone else will.

Some of our headmates are littles and our host age regresses so we may interact with agere content, we feel obligated to say that our littles and regressors are not like this as some sort of kink, this is not DDLG, do not treat them as such. Our littles do not consent to being sexualized and that is a blockable offense for their safety.

Fictive (Hazbin Hotel), backup gatekeeper in case something goes wrong or Strahd needs a break. Aroace. As calm as Strahd in stressful circumstances, but in a totally different way- cheerful rather than stoic. He isn't often needed to step up as gatekeeper, but he's happy to do so when needed. Asakayu (he/him)

A lamia/snake person who looks like a cobra with black and gold scales. Somewhat colder and crueler than most, but not towards us, just in general. Birthday- August 26, 2022.

Fictive (D&D character; mimic monk/rogue), middle (12 y/o). Agender but uses masc pronouns. Very friendly and optimistic. Loves to get along with and help others. Not to be confused with the Mimic, one of our FNaF fictives. Birthday- September 29, 2022.

Dipper Pines (he/him)

Fictive (Gravity Falls), middle (13 y/o), taskdoer. He genuinely enjoys learning stuff (unlike some of us) so he handles schoolwork and reading things, which can be a struggle for a lot of us. Birthday- August 31, 1999. Showed up on November 12, 2022.

Eclipse (they/them)

Fictive (FNaF: Security Breach Ruin), caretaker. A separate headmate from Sun and Moon, but fittingly is kind of a mix of both of them in terms of role and personality. They're calmer than Sun but more energetic than Moon, and can easily take up either of their roles if they need to switch out. The Daycare Attendants might be a subsystem or something similar, since they can wake each other up super easily. You know that clip during the Security Breach teasers with Sun twirling his head and switching into Moon? Yeah, it's literally that fast. Birthday- July 29, 2023.

Emyr (he/it)

Sometimes called “Em”/“Emm” as a nickname. Host, age slider/regressor (usually goes by “Emmy” when little), trauma holder, anger holder, anxiety holder, otherkin (dragon, cryptid, shadow/void, corvid), shapeshifter in headspace. Uranic, panromantic, gray asexual, trans demiboy. Sometimes feral, responsible for the otherkin reposts. Has some animalistic mannerisms, like head-bobbing like a lizard, preening people it cares about, and being bitey (especially when little). Hates being alone because he's really anxious (and gets frustrated by things easily and needs someone to calm him down) so he often has another headmate active with him. Evan Afton (he/him)

Fictive (FNaF 4), little (haven’t figured out age yet) and Michael’s younger brother. Gets along great with him despite their past issues. Cries and gets scared easily, somewhat quiet and anxious. Showed up very unexpectedly- most fictives we can predict in advance, but with Evan, we had a dream from his perspective, and then he woke up. He wasn’t even on our radar, so to speak. Birthday- August 8, 2023.

Grima (he/him)

Fictive (Fire Emblem: Awakening), former persecutor. After having a confrontation with Strahd for causing harm to our system, we didn't see him for a long time, then he came back just to mock a different system's persecutor. He said he got bored of tormenting us. Birthday- June 27, 2022.

Jeremy Fitzgerald (he/she)

Fictive (FNaF 2). Bigender, demisexual/romantic. Given how little canon info Jeremy has, ours is just based on stuff our brain made up. He was best friends with Michael during their school years, but fell apart after '83 and hadn't seen each other since- mostly due to what happened in '87. The two were very happy to see each other again. In fact, Jeremy's appearance in our system was likely indirectly due to Michael thinking about him and missing him. Despite everything, Jeremy is an optimistic and cheerful person, though she does show some amount of anxiety, especially surrounding her source. Showed up on September 27, 2023. Considers his birth year to be 1968.

Kris Dreemur (they/them)

Fictive (Deltarune), middle (16 y/o). Non-binary, bisexual. Chaotic gremlin. Good at masking as Emyr due to the two of them having sort of similar personalities and voice pitches, so on a few occasions they've stepped in for it when it needed a break (such as when around family). Birthday- June 25, 2022.

Lerian (he/they)

Soother, kind of a fictive? Pansexual, trans femboy. He's based on the Heron Laguz from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, but he popped up before we played it, so he's not based on any of the characters. They can comfort people who are upset, and they're also very good with littles and is often seen as a parental figure to them. Birthday- May 16, 2022.

Myctive (Christianity). Made because of our negative associations with our Christian upbringing. However, he doesn't hate Christianity. They're all about freedom- worship whatever you want to as long as you aren't using it to cause harm or dictate how others can live their lives. Ironically, for those reasons, he's way better about Christianity than our host, Emyr, who finds it to be a deeply uncomfortable topic due to personal reasons. Birthday- February 27, 2023.

Michael Afton (he/him)

Fictive (FNaF), trauma holder, depression holder. Bisexual. Snarky asshole (affectionate) and goofball (yes, this was written by one of his boyfriends- Emyr- how can you tell?) A lot of our fictives have some exotrauma, the brain usually picks them because they have something that it relates to (notice the amount of fictives with family trauma in this system), but the reason I didn't mark them as trauma holders is because the brain really picks on him with the exotrauma. A lot. His fortitude despite this fact is admirable, a lot of our other headmates wouldn't be able to handle this role. Please offer him a hug if you see him, he needs it. How do you guys read hate tweets/comments about Jimin without it upsetting you? I see some Jimin focused blogs here posting screenshots about Jimin antis saying the most awful things about him, and I ask myself 'how do they do that?'. I read something terrible being said about Jimin, I get so heartbroken that it puts me in a bad mood for the rest of the day. Sometimes I wanna respond to these comments but when I try to type down what I want to say, I literally already feel so exhausted. So I just report the person, block them and stay out of social media altogether for the rest of the day. Sometimes this feeling can stretch on for days to a week, so I'd stay off social media for that long

I really want to know how to read anti stuff and not let it get to me so much because all that hate just can't be escaped if you love Jimin and follow socials about him. Even if you curate your timeline and block Jimin stans who like getting into petty fights with rival stans, it all finds a way to slip through in some way. So how do I become emotionally strong?

I used to be a lot like you, too. Maybe it wouldn't ruin my day but I've cried. Many times. Last year, when these things didn't even matter to me as much as they used to, the things I read one day were so bad that I threw up. Now... I have low blood pressure and a meek stomach so I used to throw up a lot even on good days (now it's under control), but sometimes it was triggered by stress or negative emotions. And that's what happened that day.

2021, 2022 I used to get back at people. Not all the time, not even often, but yeah sometimes. And my tweets used to get lots of engagements too. I mean, at least what was "a lot" for solo spaces back then; 200, 300 likes. Nowadays I see akgaes tweets getting 2k likes, but it started being like that after face. Anyways, I used to get back at people who were lying, because that's what's always bothered me the most.. the lies. As I've said before, it wouldn't bother me if the things they said about Jimin were true. If he was a terrible person, or if let's say he had actually gotten any special treatment, then I'd understand if people were mad. For example, you can't call Jimin names and say he sleeps with his boss only to have photos of Jungkook having dinners with said boss. The hypocrisy, the lies always bothered me. The character assassination mission people have been on when it came to Jimin. The gross edits, I never knew what to say to that because I don't have it in me to be sexually violent to other people and I also never wanted to bring that stuff to others. But lies were something I could at least try to correct.

I'm not sure I have a real advice, though. I don't exactly know when I started getting desensitized to it. To be fair, I don't read the tweets. Maybe it's once a week that I come across some report page or some pjm profile where they're having a back and forth with another akgae. But I usually don't see the hate lately.

I think what worked for me was deactivating my Twitter account every once in a while. Everytime I came back, I would go back with less "emotions" if that makes sense? I would not react so strongly like I did before; you'll start seeing things as less important than before. I used to deactivate whenever Jimin didn't have schedules, or sometimes I just felt like I had had enough and wanted to take a break. Maybe nothing happened, but I just felt like it was necessary. You have to learn how to deal with fomo, though, and then you'll be able to do that. I used to deactivate and then check stuff from fanbases and not fan accounts. I still do that, mostly though I do check a couple of fan accounts, too.

i think it’s strange how upset and mad people get about helaemond kids theory. for one, it’s fine to dislike it or disagree. there’s not much within the show to support it and it exists and speculation for shippers. it’s a fun thing. but people will get outraged and make up outright lies to argue against it? saying the twins are 7 and aemond would have been 10 when they’re born? there’s a 6 year age gap between episode 7 and episode 8. the absolute oldest the twins could be is 5, given how helaena and aegon are married (their betrothal has just been confirmed and helaena is roughly 11/12, so it seems likely they wouldn’t have married for a year or so anyhow) and then have their kids within that 6 year gap. the show seems to keep the book age gaps between alicent’s kids, because we know helaena is born shortly after aegon turns two. which would make her roughly a year or so older than aemond. so, if aemond is 11, she’s 12 having these twins 😵‍💫😵‍💫 is that somehow better? the kids in ep 9 are toddlers, they’re obviously being aged up because they have to do blood and cheese. it doesn’t matter how old the kid actors are (ewan certainly isn’t 16!) and they’ll have such limited screentime anyway. with what aegon says in ep9, it seems most accurate he is 20, hel 18, and aemond 17. but this contradicts the show itself, which gives us 9/10 year old aemond in ep 6, as he doesn’t exist before the time jump, and then 15/16 year old aem in ep 8. of course, given how he’s about to go hook up with a milf, i would bet on the show also playing with his age to make him a late teen/early 20s.

Okay, with that out of the way... Context. (But kept in vague terms, as I've already unfollowed + blocked what caused me stress today. If you know, cool, but. I'm not "calling anyone out" or what have you. Just saying "this is how I feel, I'm not arguing it, we'll be moving on after this.")

For the SECOND time this year, I've had to find out a mutual has anti-polyamory sentiments. And I get it. Some people have bad experiences with it or know someone else who did. Maybe you just personally don't agree with it. You're monogamous, intend to stay that way, don't care. Whatever it is, I don't have problems with that.

I have problems when it's on my fucking dashboard. I have problems when there's lies being spread that it only could ever be harmful and/or abusive in nature. That it "ruins" relationships and puts children through pain. I also have EXTRA problems when someone can't even own up to having anti-polyamory views, and deletes the posts after making them. (I'm salty over this, yes. Let me have my moment.)

If not obvious already, I am polyam, and so is my partner. We're a duo rn, and not really looking to change that...but open, as we've ever been. I know my limits; I'm probably down for a third, and then no more. Aside from that, I crush wildly, and my boyfriend supports it and teases me about it. (I also do the same to him, LMAO.)

Again, it may not be for everyone. But it's taught me to communicate better. I've learned more about myself. Any relationship failings have never been on polyamory itself; just that we weren't ready or it was the wrong time, like any other relationship.

BUT!!! And this is my major thing... If you don't like it, cool. I don't care; put it on MY dashboard, however, and that's where we have problems. I once again state: I am NOT here to indulge in daily news. To post my opinions. To share my life. If I want to, I have separate sideblogs for that. All connected to my main, away from my Fun Place.

It stressed me out, to start. Totally blindsided me, and I felt like shit. Now? If not yet obvious: I'm pissed. I'm one of those people where I am just as polyam as I am nonbinary or demisexual: that is unarguably me. I've always been this way, but was given words for it from one of my partners. I'm happy this way.

this time around i am midway thru season 10.... my #1 blorbo is about to leave and im worried and scared because of some spoilers i read. but anyways here is my current analysis!

BLORBOS

- meredith grey. we started off rocky but i love and support her wholeheartedly now. has done the least stupid stuff as a doctor! bonus points for that. has gone through so much more than she deserves.

- derek shepherd. has done a lot of stupid shit and is a very stupid and reckless man. but underneath all of that he is a good man who wants to do good and help people. an amazing father!!!! and husband.

- cristina yang. the closest to perfect. i wish she would stop making awful relationship decisions. in my world she is happily married to a woman. a nurse, maybe.

- george o'malley. my perfect perfect son. ohhhhh my son. i am so sorry you died. i wish you had gotten to be happy with callie and have a great little family together and be an amazing surgeon.

- callie torres. brilliant surgeon brilliant woman. a little stupid at times. but i think her strengths are all way stronger than that.

- mark sloan. also very stupid! but in a very charming way. was amazing to watch him grow and change.

- lexie grey. deserved a better exit from the show wtffff. got used as an extra trauma to throw at meredith or something like damn. she was amazing and excellent in her own right. justice for lexiepedia.

- april kepner. BABYYYYYY. amazing and deserves the world, honestly. i have nothing but admiration for her i think.

- heather brooks. AAAAAAGH?!!!!! she was so cute and fun and brought an energy to the show nobody else has! deserved soooo much better.

- alex karev. has done too many messy and problematic things to be a full blorbo but like derek he is ultimately a good man who wants to do good. amazing peds surgeon. can't wait to see him as a dad i bet he'll be a little league coach.

- miranda bailey. now normally she would be full blorbo but she's been bothering me a little lately! amazing surgeon! amazing woman! but she needs to get her life more under control or something.

- izzie stevens. used to be my favorite.... she was so great. honestly i blame cancer for everything. Except the denny lvad thing i think that was precancer. but the romance with george that she dropped so fast? and then doing all that crap to alex? unforgivable. i hope she finds happiness in a new life with new people but i want her far away from my blorbos.

IT WILL NEVER WORK BUT I DON'T HATE YOU

- owen hunt. i DO hate his pro-life stance. treated cristina awfully there. but he is also the best love interest she had. and he's a great trauma surgeon, and the best chief i have seen! we just have too many differences to ever truly blorb together.

- arizona robbins. Honestly? most of the time i Do hate her. but i also respect her too much to Anti her. especially her growth after losing her leg! but it fucking sucked for callie. i think if the show had kept mark alive i could have gotten along with her more but she has been awful to callie way too much.

- leah murphy. Mad respect for her crazy but her emotions are also what ruined her. i hope she has a good career elsewhere.

- ben warren. sometimes he's good for bailey sometimes he makes her worse. but i respect him.

I DON'T KNOW

- jo wilson. uhhhh..... she just kinda exists i don't know. sometimes she's good for alex. but i am not very interested in her. does not spark joy.

- charles percy. i think we would have had a very rocky relationship had he lived but i think the way they killed him was very artful? it was one of the best death scenes i have seen.

ANTI BLORBOS.

- richard webber. he has done too much fuckass shit and acted insufferably FAR too many times. way more tolerable as a general surgeon and not as chief but still incredibly irritating.

- preston burke. took advantage of cristina in so many ways and never once truly considered himself and his own actions. selfish, awful man.

- erica hahn. Too bitter. involved emotions in her work in a way i disliked? i think she was never meant to be a main character.

- shane ross. Bruh what the fuckkkkk. he has done way too much wrong. maybe someday if we actually tackle the fact that he kinda Killed heather we can be at least partial or something but ..... i don't want him on this show.

- ellis grey. Noooooope. don't even care about all her groundbreaking work or her disease or whatever. i want nothing to do with her.

- adele webber. i hated her so much and there was no reason to make her so evil and irritating so much??????? the show would have been way more interesting and webber might have been more redeemable if she had been Good.

- sloan riley. this girl pissed me offffff like she went thru it she was having a bad time but ultimately she just ruined shit for mark and lexie and that sucks.

- catherine avery. whenever shes around and is rude to jackson he becomes a temporary blorbo. he doesn't deserve the shit she puts him through. frustrating character overall. But! mad respect to her work as a urologist she always brings interesting cases to the show!

Guys forgot to say I'm watching the Meghan and Harry series for fun and I forgot to post reactions so far so:

Harry talks like he's learning to be human which is not surprising

There's a commentator that said Harry and William were basically, not even basically they were, born in a contractual relationship with the media. They need to perform like monkeys for relevancy. Needless to say fucked up shit u would call cps for but it's the royal family

Laughing at the royal expert that said royal family members don't have it easy bc they got alot of restrictions like religion and marriage having to be approved by queen but it's like they chose to do that *captain America gif*

Meghan markle having 6 grown men sleeping outside her house knocking on her neighbors doors and bribing said neighbors to put cameras facing meghans house is..disgusting and that's the mildest term. Outweighs everything Harry had been through

Meghan said "my friends asked if he (harry) is worth it" my reaction: no. U should've ran

Meghan mentioned briefly meeting Kate and William and I hope I get more insight on their relationship. I really wanna know what Kate did I need to know but alas meghans too classy 😔

They actually brought up Harry's nazi costume but not shocked bc I feel like they briefly mentioned to get it out of the way. He probably is genuinely ashamed but they really called Harry an "anti racist" like him moving past this was a building block I-

The most important segments in this are the snippet history lessons of the British empires slave trade and they called the commonwealth empire 2.0 👏 it's not that these things are groundbreaking to say but u know most ppl don't read anti racist book recs and don't bother learning history and this show is likely getting alot of views and theyll learn the stuff they don't wanna learn on their own

This shows the worse for forcing me to watch Harry's military journey and how it shaped his life as if an invasion that killed thousands of people is just another step in the growth of a British prince who's family very likely benefited from occupying the region but whatever I expect nothing

The fact that Meghan started this with "I was a daddys girl" and I knew before watching this how her dad exploited her the week of her wedding...heartbreaking. i just assumed they werent close but no they were very close and he got her into acting and u can tell she doesn't want to say more other than that he did betray her and there was no part on her end (which media claimed she disinvited him)

Anyway im watching episodes 4-6 so I'll be posting shortly
