I can't

It's been 3 days since you had seen Daryl since the argument. You were starting to believe he hadn’t really cared since he hasn't showed up. You hadn't told anyone about the situation because if you did you'd cry. Not knowing what to do you got comfortable on the sofa and started reading 'Desire Unchanted'.

After a couple minutes of reading there was a sudden knock on the door without giving it thought, you opened the door to be faced with Rosita and baby Socorro. You immediately light up at the sight of them. "Hello mamas, how are you?" You say in a sweet baby voice to Coco. "I wish you would greet me like that everyday" Rosita chuckled. You laughed and hugged Rosita letting them in.

" How have you been, I haven't seen you outside like you usually are?" You sighed "I've been through hell for the past couple of days" . "Why, what happened?" You raised your brows and blew air "oof well let's start with... I found out I'm pregnant 2 weeks ago..." "WHAT, oh my god, congratulations! Does Daryl know??" She said with a smile beaming on your face but seeing your not so happy expression it slowly faltered. "How do you feel about it are you happy?"

"I am but.., when I went to go see Daryl a couple of days ago", tears started swelling in your eyes as Rosita got up to sit next to you, Coco instantly reached out for you as you lifted her to your lap. " I had the box to give to him but before I could he told me had something to tell me" your voice hitched at the thought of it, "he basically told me he cheated on me, a whole argument broke out but it felt like I was talking to a wall, so really I was just arguing with myself, before I left I threw the box over to him and just left.

Your face was now stained with hot tears. Rositas face was in disbelief, " hijo de su puta madre (son of a bitch), how could he- why would he!?" "That's what I said but he told me nothing, I told him to come find me because I was done, it's been three days since, and I blame myself because I feel like I wasn't good enough" . "Hey! Don't say that he's the stupid one who wasn't good enough for YOU, he was to blind to see the best woman for him so don't blame yourself for his actions".

You looked up at her with a sly smile "Thank you Rosa" you say leaning your head on your shoulder, "anytime I'm always here when you need me" she assured resting her head atop of yours.

After sitting for a couple of minutes she got up picking up Coco from your lap "you know what instead of just sitting here let's do something, how about we cook?" You beamed with joy at the mention of food "ooo yes, we have to ask Carol for her book".

Walking out the house you bumped into something hard, looking up you saw it was none other than Daryl. Your body tensed as you made eye contact with him. "Can we talk?" You turn to face Rosita as she's making daggers at him, "Rosa how about you go get the stuff ready and I'll come and get you?" She nodded her head , walking forward slightly nudging Daryl in the shoulder as she left.

You nodded your head to let Daryl in. You stared at him waiting for him to speak. "Can we sit?" "Mhm" . As you both sat across from each other he handed you a bag, you looked into to it and seen it was baby items, a small smile appeared on your face "thank you".

"Y/N I jus' wanna start of with I'm sorry for what I did t' you, I'm sorry fo' what I put yea' through the last couple of days. Wha' I did has no ex'cuse, but that night was meaningless t'a me. It was a huge m'stake riskin' what we have. I can wait as long as yea' need me t'a. I want t'a make it right I want t'a make it work fo' our kid and us I kno' it's gonna take time but I can wait as long as yea' need me t'a hope yea' can f'give me. Because I still love you."

You sat there for a second tears threatening to spill but not falling. Taking in a shaky breath, exhaling with a big blow you spoke.

" I know you're sorry Daryl I know you are, but what you did, it did mean something because there has to be a reason to why you did it. That's something I still want you to explain to me. And you don't have to worry about having to make it work for our kid because we are going to no matter what. And yes it's going to take a while but Daryl I can't..."

"I can't forgive you just yet because, it still hurts, although I'm hurt, I'm not going to deny the fact that I still love you because we have together for years"

" I jus' needed somethin' at tha' moment an' she was there, I don' kno' any other way to say it was jus; in the momen' "

With a nod you took in a deep intake of breath and got up, Daryl doing the same, walking outside closing the door behind you. "I appreciate it a lot Daryl so thank you. "

" I couldn't jus' leave yea' withou' n' explanation."

Looking up at him you gently wrapped your arms around his neck as he wrapped his arms around your waist just holding each other for a moment. Whispering to you he said "im gonna' make it up to yea'. " " I know you will." Pulling away, you asked " so how do you feel about the whole situation?" You said moving your hands around your stomach.

"I'm alrigh' sorta excited to meet lil bean" "Little Bean?" "Mmm wha'ever" "No no I like little bean" you said giggling, " As much as I would like to talk about 'little bean' I have to go to Carol's."

"mhmm, yea' think I can come by later in the week" "Yes you can Daryl it's still your house." "mk I'll see ya' then" " alrighty bye" you said waving. Turning to walk the opposite direction he was your heart was still aching, but glad he finally spoke to you.

LITA Ep 3 Rewatch Thoughts

Hi friends! Here we are at ep 3, and these posts are getting longer by the episode so grab a lil snack and some water if you want <3 I had to make a part 2 because the number of images got to be too many (linked here and below)

The opening continues to slap (plus I think I've listened to it enough times I think I can sing along with the chorus despite not knowing more than 8 Thai words)

Also Rain and I are equally dumb (I'm including myself here bc if I didn't already know Prapai and Sky were going to have a storyline I probably wouldn't have assumed he liked guys right off the bat) - Sky didn't even flinch when Rain writes down his mission to court Phayu (a guy) and immediately writes down the first tactic. WHICH incidentally is "show up in front of him every day". It's pretty full-circle that Prapai uses this same tactic to woo Sky later on, isn't it? (I also didn't notice that until right now so wow these rewatch posts are helping my analysis skills lmao)

Look at my determined son!! He's gonna get his mans!! (Sky's looking a little skeptical tho)

The Rain-at-the-garage montage contains so many cute shots but this would get too long if I put every single one in, so let's focus on the first meeting with the brothers-in-law (P'Saifah and Rain). How much must Phayu have described Rain for P'Saifah to instantly know who he is on sight? Also P'Saifah probably reported back to Phayu immediately and I'm kinda sad we don't get to see that convo.

I didn't catch this until now but they also foreshadowed Rain missing a deadline in the next scene. Sky tells Rain to finish his work but as soon as Phayu texts him, Rain runs out of the room without having done anything.

Listen, I love P'Aon and his matchmaking skills ok??

Look at Rain, he's trying so hard to be polite with the P'Phayu and the khrap - what a good boy! It's taking everything in him tho lmaooo

The conversation that comes right after this between P'Saifah and Rain is pretty interesting. I love how the narrative keeps trying to tell us that Phayu is some sort of dangerous fellow when all he's done is be a model student and mechanic and teach college freshmen good manners. Could he maybe learn a little something about physical boundaries? Perhaps, but maybe it's just how kind-looking Boss is, but I never got any sense of danger from Phayu, and esp not towards Rain. Rain's reaction to hearing presumably about Phayu's past relationships is quite on-point, and really cements the stubborn and determined attitude he takes towards getting Phayu to like him. It's how we as the audience know he's gonna be successful.

Next up, Phayu arrives in all his fashionably-late glory. This part has me smirking every time because he walks in all suave and stuff but approximately 7 seconds into Rain's pouting he immediately drops all pretenses and becomes so squishy and soft

I LOVE this exchange between them - again, we are getting a full picture of their early relationship dynamics. Phayu has expectations that Rain's gonna be different, and Rain's telling him he's gonna meet those expectations, and Phayu's satisfied "ah just as I thought" face makes an appearance.

I absolutely adore this expression on Rain/Noeul - it's so subtle but powerful

Yay dinner date!! Phayu is taking so many mental notes right here (also pls note this is the same face Rain is making right above)

Phayu is way too good at pressing Rain's buttons omg - he really got Rain to do this with like a single sentence of teasing (tbf Rain is pretty impulsive tho so I'm not surprised)

The poor serviceperson was like pls let me go

Phayu goes through this episode looking wayyy too satisfied imo

But Rain actually does have nice manners - he gave Phayu the utensils and bowl first and does say thank you

This smile should be illegal actually bc it is stealing my heart and soul

And we get another instance of Phayu being very not immune to Rain's pout (this time he doesn't even get to pout for 3 whole seconds before concerned Phayu is feeding him and patting his mouth with a napkin)

We get some more foreshadowing that Rain is going to miss a deadline

ok THIS. These small gestures that Phayu does for Rain have me swooning just as much as their intimate scenes. Something about that sentence is grammatically incorrect but you get my point, right? They could have easily not included them (and idk if these were even scripted) but they make the relationship that much sweeter and believable.

BTS in Order Addendum 2

Second and final addendum for rn! This covers the translated bts clips for June that I found. Sadly, the playlist did not have July or Aug, so I can't go over those. If I ever do find July and Aug, I'll try to add it on.

As before, the timeline posts are already updated. I'm just highlighting some things here for those who don't want to hunt for the updates. Also, I tried to clean up some of the formatting but y'all, the formatting on Tumblr is just weird. I can't figure it out and I'm not gonna invest the time to do so, so I've done my best!

I can see where the WZC/GG pairing came from. GG and WZC seem quite close, often playful, and similarly physically affectionate to ggdd. Their dynamic is different, but I can def see how people could pull together a compilation of their bts clips for CPFs. (Not saying they were a real couple, like ggdd.)

Madam Jin did not seem to realize she was cast in a bl adaption.

There's much mentioned of dd's afterglow on 6.19 after the Dragon Boat Festival date, but I've never seen anyone mention that GG is also in a really great mood the next day. His first scene is in the forest with JC and JL, and he's all smiles and says, "I'm so happy this early morning. I really love my team."

JC says "Happy? What nonsense!" For some reason, this sets gg off on the giggles.

Needless to say, GG had his own afterglow.

Also on 6.19, there's this cute exchange between gg and the older lady producer (?), who is also from Chongqing:

Crewmember: So many beauties come from Chongqing. GG: I'm beautiful. Producer lady: More beautiful than me? GG: How can that be? Can't compare!

And then, a couple days later on 6.23, when dd is still gone, gg is in a hellishly rotten mood. He's visibly moody and unresponsive to xl and JC, both of whom try to cheer him up. At one point, he asks someone (his assistant?) if he has any crying scenes that day. And later he says, "Remember this feeling. After a month, when filming, definitely will..." I think he says something more to XL here, but I guess it was too quiet for the translator to hear. The implication to me is that he's gonna try to bring up the experience of his feelings in later scenes when WWX is having similar feelings.

Not everything with regards to the boys has to be about ggdd, so it's possible that gg's bad mood is bc of something else going on in his life. Family, friends, something with his company, politics, a stranger being a jerk, whatever. DD's one possibility among many. I did check out what dd was doing on 6.23 and 6.22, and he's on Produce 101, where he looks as DD (with a mullet) as ever. But there aren't any bts or unscripted clips of him where he might reveal a similar mood, so it's hard to say anything.

So basically, make of gg's bad mood what you will. It could be literally anything.

I need to talk about JC's fake butt

So the clip on 6.25, with JZX, Mianmian, dd, XL, and gg all chatting starts with them talking about JC wearing a "fake butt". I'm guessing butt padding? Some highlights:

DD is confused because he's "not even wearing jeans", to which gg asks if it makes sense to wear a fake butt in jeans.

The "reason" why JC wears this is apparently only known to XL and GG. XL refuses to explain.

GG says if she doesn't explain, dd will just walk up to JC and ask him, "JC, you wear a fake butt?"

Poor WZC did seem a bit put-upon on the set.

Also, unrelated, dd thinks sweat is sexy.

Also, the nasal spray that got passed around: looked sus, but not actually that sus. It's a Thai herbal nasal inhaler, which apparently looks a lot like people doing some uppers. (So much so that gg chastises the cameraman for filming it and XL turns her back to do it)

Also also, gg's rotten mood is gone. The clip on 6.23 of him being in a bad mood is only about 5 min long, and there's only a 45sec clip for 6.24. So basically, we have no idea what might have cheered him up and there are almost a full 2 days of stuff we know nothing about.

I'm gonna cry I think. I'm stressed and I know it's super dumb to be this upset but I'm frustrated ASF.

Patch 5 came out, but I'm still having some glitches. I'm starting to wonder if it's my mods, but they are all only cosmetic so idk.

I went as far as to uninstall and reinstall the game but the issues persist. So, now I need to try and load the game without the mods and see if that fixes it (but when I tried to do that earlier the game refused to play).

Meanwhile, I am desperately trying to avoid all socials so I don't get any new content spoiled for me.

Frankly, idk exactly what to do to fix this issue. I don't want my saves ruined and start all over. I just want the regular Gale kiss to work, for the romance sequence in act 2 to not be bugged, and to continue playing so I can discover all of the new stuff that came out. I didn't have any of these issues with my first playthrough so the only thing I can think of is the mods... It seems like such a simple fix but it's honestly giving me anxiety trying to figure out how to fix it and sus out which one is the culprit.

Perhaps I should just watch Netflix tonight instead... 😞

Some quick life-updates from yours truly:

Realized I was, in fact, nonbinary. Being honest with myself and being away from the internet really helped me figure that one out. I'm still largely in the closet, but I'm planning on where I go from here. I know I'm going to get top surgery or at least a reduction eventually, but that's a Future Leigh thing.

I developed a shellfish allergy which is a thing that can happen. Your body can just... decide it's allergic to shit. I know it's an immune system overreaction but wtf wtf wtf we've eaten shrimp and clams and crab our whole life wtf wtf wtf There's the slight possibility it was a spice or the ramen I was eating them with but like. It's more than likely the fucking shellfish.

I'm currently outside of the US right now and FAR away from home. I'm not immigrating, I'm just helping a friend with some housework and also getting my first vacay in like a decade. Also I dealt with quite a bit of ableism and assumed misogyny (bc still in closet) with immigration to the point they had to bring two different women officers to deal with my sitch. Like I don't wanna spread the stereotype of men being insensitive and women being "more compassionate" or w/e but yikes. I'm struggling so hard right now not to let that asshole taint all men. I'm beating that sexism back with a fucking bat.

My cynophobia is in severe decline, at least with smaller and some medium sized dogs! Anything bigger than like a corgi still triggers me (shaking, crying, panicking, etc.) but smaller dogs are so fucking cute and fun and snuggly!!! I love when they curl up in your lap and when they roll over for tummy rubs!!! I really miss my mom's dogs right now 😭 but I have a cat here so it's kind of ok

Had some True Crime shit happen to my family. My aunt (who's always been in poor health) passed away in her sleep. Her husband had her cremated asap, threw out all of her stuff, repainted the room she slept in, and then waited a week to tell the rest of the family... by text. Originally it looked like she had died in her sleep while he was at work, but then he admitted to his daughter (who then told the fam) that he had been home all day, that he lied to police about being at work, and that he was glad she was dead. So it's looking more and more like he killed her, or at least let her die. Like... he's always been an asshole. It's totally believable he killed her, but I hope (for everyone's sake) that he didn't and he's just being a selfish jackass who doesn't understand how sus he sounds.

My mental health has been the best it's been in years. I still have bad days (esp right now bc of the shit that happened with the border officer) but I'm kind of in awe that I'm like. Alive? Like I'm entering my late twenties. My first suicide attempt was when I was 11. I never imagined I would make it past 21. Bitch I'm still here!!! Life is not my problem, I am LIFE'S problem!

I learned how to make stroganoff and became mildly addicted to it for like a month.

Lived to see cicadas in the summer! Saw SO many!!! I think about them when winter makes me sad. They're my light at the end of the tunnel.

I ALSO SAW A BABY (ok more like a young) POSSUM!!! My dad discovered him in a box of apples we had outside. He was havin a FEAST lemme tell you. Boy went through like four apples that were about half his body size. Hell yeah.

I've currently been trying to exercise and strength train because I tried to climb a tree to get a cicada shell and yeah. I didn't even make it off the ground. Spaghetti ass arms. Right now I'm too sore from the travel (& stress & panic attack due to border issue) to see if my strength has improved, but I can definitely tell there are muscles in my arms and not just mush. Human bodies are so fucking weird and cool and shit.

I still remain uneducated and unemployed, but I actually checked out the GED study guide from the library earlier last year. I had a panic attack and ended up returning it, but... it's progress! A few years ago, I would've just passed it by. I actually opened it and looked in it and shit! Give me some more time and I'll actually be able to USE it and then get my GED and then bitche!!!! :D I've also decided I'm going to try to become a mortician. I doubt I have the patience to become a medical examiner, but I'd still like to work with the dead (not in a creepy way, I'm just better with dead folks) AND I got some family in the business back home (here's hoping I can use nepotism to my advantage teehee) so it's a good idea. I'm not saying it'll work out, but it's a plan.

I beat Pokemon Diamond again, and Skyrim. I made like four new characters but only ended up completing one (and they became a sneak archer because of course.)

I've done a little more sewing! I'm still kinda sucky at it and my brain can not figure out how the hell a back stitch works but I'm having a lot of fun!

Ok that's all I can think of right now but yeah. I'm surprised I haven't completely lost my mind yet but hey. There's still time 😌

I'll hopefully be more active on here in the upcoming days (bc I've missed my sweet little garbage trash site and all my gay little mutuals), but right now I'm just trying to exist in as little pain as I can. Very fatigued but also incredibly sore (shoulders, back, and legs).

I'm so grateful to all the kind messages and asks you guys have sent me while I was gone, and I hope your lives have been going well. Things are tough right now for everyone, and I hope you find the strength and support you need to go on. Fucking love you guys.

the rose bowl moment, watch it again. jimin wasn't crying until jungkook whispered in his ear. whatever jungkook said made jimin emotional and jungkook pushed him over the edge after sucking his ear.

the GCFs, after jungkook posted GCFT, namjoon told him to make one with tae if he wanted millions of views, but jungkook didn't. and in the next few years the company started monetizing his GCFs and making him do them for work related stuff, so he stopped doing them altogether. which tells me that Jungkook can pretty much decide for himself to do whatever he wants. if he wanted to make a GCF for tae he would've. if he wanted to give tae the most screentime he would've. but as the company started OT7-fying his GCFs over the years he stopped doing them, period. because it wasn't genuine or fun anymore. and he himself admitted to this in the 2020 youtube live.

also, bang pd is an ally of the community, you can see tweets on his twitter proving this like reading BL, he bought jo kwon his first pair of high heels, and he even had the members study troye sivan's blue neighborhood series i believe. he seems pretty much supportive and i believe that if he knows about two members dating each other he won't get in their way. of course he'll warn them about accidentally outing themselves but they're grown men who know what's good for them, if the boys wanted to push and test the fans’ limits about homosexuality he won't stop them. that's why i believe bighit allowed for GCFT to be published, it's not explicitly LGBTQIA+ but the message is there. the editing being inspired by a bf/gf vlog tutorial shot by shot, the queer-coded song by a queer artist that bang pd himself had bts listen to. it's there.

that's why i also believe that a lot of the sus stuff that jikook do and doesn't get edited out is because they're allowing them to test waters as a queer couple (this is all based on my belief that bh allows the members to do whatever they want as long as it isn't hurting the group, and relationships in general are not bad but the guys are still advised to keep it a secret. i don't think they're strictly prohibited to announce relationships), in case they wanted to let the world know one day, they need to test reactions first.

jimin leaving a bite mark (read: hickey) on jungkook's neck when they were drinking alone at night can be widely misunderstood, they know that, and frankly quite disrespectful to tae as well if him and Jungkook are actually dating. him and tae might not be able to let people know they're dating, but it isn't necessary to mislead people into thinking that he might be dating another member. and a hickey does exactly that. they could've covered it by makeup and called it a day as to not stir the pot, but the didn't. so bh are not okay with taekook showing any suspicious activities but it's okay if jungkook does it with another member? it still puts a target on jungkook's back, and jimin's as well. what it looks like to me is that it was okay for jimin and jungkook, to let people know what jikook were up to the night before, even if it looks wrong, they didn't care. and tae doesn't have an issue with it because he's not actually dating jungkook so it doesn't matter what people might assume about jikook. i'm pretty sure tae wouldn't want the fandom to think his bf and bff are fucking when he's not even allowed to be close to jungkook.

which brings me to this, the closeness part. if bh are really trying to hide taekook's relationship, how is it that taekook are being loud right now when there's no changes to their contracts yet? it's still the same since 2020. tkkrs say that taekook are now trying to let the whole world know they're together, (which doesn't make sense to me considering the timing and the looming military service in a homophobic country) and that they're more free in chapter 2, but their contracts haven't changed since 2020 (or was it 2018? i can't remember). where did the change come from? if bighit suddenly decided to go easy on them and allow them to do whatever they want, like attend premieres and stuff together, then where did jennie come from? where does she fall into all of this?

and if it's tae's choice, how is he hiding a relationship but being loud about it at the same time? it's not necessary to have a beard if you ask me. it would've been more efficient if him and Jungkook just laid low, no beards necessary, instead of being loud right before enlistment but hiding it with a beard.

but i've also seen tkkrs of bh forcing tae into a straight relationship to hide taekook, while also accusing bh of forcing jikook to do fan service to hide taekook. how does it make sense for one to look straight but the other be unapologetically gay? just because he's being gay with another man? so bh are offering protection to tae but are endangering Jungkook? right ahead of military service? and endangering jimin as well who doesn't even have to be involved in all of this?

and why do tae and jk seem like they're not on the same page? tae is always the one letting everyone know what him and jungkook are up to, but jungkook never does this. he does much longer lives and more frequently but he barely mentions anything about him and tae. you could argue it's because jungkook is the more private one but that doesn't make sense honestly, if him and tae wanted to let ppl know then they would've definitely took the decision together and made it equally obvious, but tae is the one who's doing the most out of the two. he comes online for minutes to mention jungkook and leave, while jungkook comes online for hours and doesn't mention taehyung at all. he even did a whole live watching jimin content; if him and tae had plans to make it clear who they're dating, then why is jk still blurring the line? there's so many loopholes and contradictions, it just doesn't add up.

I have looked at the Rosebowl footage again. This clip:

I see Jimin put his hand on his mouth (indicating him starting to cry) at 0:18 seconds and have not seen Jk wisper in his ear before that moment. Jk starts to comfort Jimin at 0:24 seconds and he does cry harder after that, but to me it just seems like he was already overwhelmed and that just intensified because of reasons beyond Jk. I still stand by my former observations.

But isn't Namjoon telling Jk to film one with Tae an indication of it not being more than friendship? Namjoon doesn't treat it as something special, and he knows way more than we do. Also (from my point of view), Jk making a GCF about Tae would be so personal, I don't think Jk wants to share that intimate part of his life. I think Jk had the option to stop doing them, I don't think he had the option to do as he pleases. I think it very possible even that he stopped doing GCF's because he did not have that freedom. Whether or not Bang pd is an ally or not, every Kpop band... every band/artist in general will have image clauses in their contract. It is not even to control them in their everyday lives, it is to protect the band and the label in case someone is having a lapse in judgement. And no matter how much Bang pd trusts the members, he knows they are young and he knows that young people make lapses in judgement. He will always choose to protect his business and by extension BTS. This is probably where you and I disagree in most, because you think BTS members have a lot of freedom, and while I would agree that they probably have more freedom than other Kpop bands, I don't think that freedom extends to showing whatever they want to the world. . Bts never talk about dating, there are other topics that they don't touch... it's clear that they have opinions, but they don't go into some things in depth.

I will amend that it is possible to read a queer message into the GCF. But, I still think it is not meant to be romantic. If Jimin is also queer, it is very possible that it is just a general statement. Like the Saipan GCF, If I were to search for a deeper meaning behind the music choice, I feel those lyrics "I don't wanna hide no-more" are meant to be from Jimin's perspective in general. He has alluded to having been afraid to show himself, his softer side. I don't think it's intended to point at their 'relationship' but to point at how they feel in general. All other GCF's are kinda an example of that I feel.

It's quite a leap (in SK) to go from being an ally to the queer community to actually allowing members to go public if they so choose. SK is really not that far yet. They are making steps, but it's tiny ones. At this point, queerness isn't even a topic Idols speak about freely. I feel, that the first step to take, is to allow Idols to publicly date in general. BTS might be allowed to date in private (we don't know) but not one of them has ever gone public, to me that shows that it is unlikely that its a possibility for them. SK is hardly ready for that. Having a queer couple test the waters at this point in time just doesn't seem realistic to me.

So I think one of our biggest disagreements is that you think they are free to do what they want, and I don't. I think history and standards right now show us that SK and Kpop are still very conservative, and while exceptions are ofcourse possible, I've not seen enough evidence to support that idea right now.

Another anon of mine talked about this yesterday and maybe you've read that post also.

But let me point out some stuff. It's not a hickey. Jimin didn't describe it as a hickey, he said it was a bite. It looks like a bite also, so it is one. Jikookers are the ones romanticising this by calling it a hickey. I think they didn't edit it out, because people who actually know Jk and Jimin, know what their friendship is like and this is just normal. You and I operate under different believes on how much freedom they are allowed, so to you this is testing the waters, but to me it's just normal friendly, teasing, playfull behavior between friends. Men/boys can be playfull and intimate like this without it being romantic in nature. Maybe the company doesn't actually mind people making of it what they will, it is common knowledge that shipping in Kpop is encouraged. And maybe they know that when people would actually look into Jk and Jimins relationship they wouldn't find anything scandalous there. It's riskfree, because it's just friendship. It was oke to let people know what they were up to the night before, because it wasn't special. You don't know what Tae's initial reaction to that bite was, because we haven't seen the moment he found out. This reaction of him was after having already processed the situation. I can show you some reactions of Tae witnessing Jimin and Jk when his initial reaction wasn't him being fine with things.

But also, how unproffessional would it be if Jimin and Jk were to actually be this 'romantically inclined' as you all seem to think. These are professional men. It's not them being flirty and romantic, it's them being playfull, because playfullness is welcome in this setting, while actual romance would be not.

I don't think they're being especially loud right now. I think Tae has always (except for the time they were being separated) mentioned and singled out Jk as much as he does now. It's just been more obscured, because other members were more present, there were more lives in general, and as bandmembers actively doing BTS stuff Tae mentioning Jk could always be played of as 'work'. It's more pronounced now... because it's clear that it isn't just work. I'm not all Taekookers, and I don't agree with those saying that they want to announce their relationship to the world. I don't think BigHit is now taking things easy on them, I think this is just how they are. I do see a strong possibility of Tae and Jk doing promo together like Yoongi and Jimin, but that still has to be seen. You see change, I see them just being.

i've seen tkkrs say that tae is using jennie as a beard to hide his sexuality, (either bh forced him or it was his choice to protect himself) but if that's true, then why would bh forced him to do it? are they giving taekook room or are they not?and if it's tae's choice, how is he hiding a relationship but being loud about it at the same time? it's not necessary to have a beard if you ask me. it would've been more efficient if him and Jungkook just laid low, no beards necessary, instead of being loud right before enlistment but hiding it with a beard.

I think Jennie and Tae is mostly promo. Taennie stuff keeps coming up at times when promo is to be suspected. So I wouldn't be surprised if something were to come up when The Idol hits the public (soon, very soon... so maybe they'll also just ride the Cannes wave out) and especially when Tae's album comes out (not too sure when Jennie has stuff coming out... so bring that in the mix as well). I think a side effect of this pr-relationship is that it gives Tae a nice cover for the queer rumors, which, with the enlistment approaching, could come in handy. So yeah, I don't think Tae is being especcially loud. I do think he agreed to it. You might think it unnecessary to have a beard (I certainly do, because I feel everyone should just be able to love who they want), but you and I are not the ones calling the shots. From a business perspective they might've felt this was the best way to go. It’s nothing new, it happens more often than one would think.

You get so offended by the mere mention of fanservice. It's not a bad thing. I have no problem admitting Jk and Tae did fanservice. It doesn't mean it's not also something real. It's not like managers stand next to the camera's and go "and now hug!". It's placing members together more often and encouraging them to be playfull. It's making editing choices by choosing footage of one couple of members more often than the the other. It's choosing couples whose chemistry you feel suit what you want people to think of BTS as a whole. It's not saying "you have to act gay". (what does happen though, is Tae and Jk being told to tone it down and seperate) Most interactions you call unapologetically gay, aren't that to me. Fandom has a knack for appointing something as queer, that doesn't mean that's what the company intended. I do think they let fandoms lean into their ships quite a lot, but fanservice isn't necessarily intended to make members appear queer. It's intended to make them look close. Companies always want to control the narrative. Why do you think VMin isn't a bigger ship than it is? It's because they made sure to lock that narrative down for you. VMin are called soulmates, even had a friendship song. It's so it wasn't possible to appoint Tae and Jk soulmates. Why do you think Jk and Tae's "estrangement" has been explicitely mentioned? Trouble between bandmembers would normally be something that's hidden. It's not good for their overall image if two members appear to have clashed. It's been pointed out, because they had to come up with a reason for things looking strange and taking a turn directly after (I'm talking about the ITS Taekook 'date', I'm going to make a post about Tae and Jk's 'grown appart' years soon, because that is such nonsense). They never had to come up for a narrative between Jk and Jimin, because they are just friends.

So I don't think they want the world to know and I do strongly believe it's because Jk is more private. He rarely mentions anyone outside of BTS stuff. He'll mention members' songs when they get released, he'll mention a member commenting on his live, but not much aside from that. He does mention Tae, and I think Tae is the only one he mentioned while not referencing BTS stuff, but I have no list of moments to point to.. so I'm not able to proof this. But one thing is extremely clear. They do meet up in private. They meet up when hanging out with friends, it's not always made publicly and it's quite frequently. I'm sure Jimin and Jk and Jimin and Tae have also met, but... the thing missing is actual proof of that. So while I am able to actually point to times Tae and Jk have seen each other, you are not. People are all different anon. Do you and your partner act the same, do your parents, do your friends and their partners? It's not weird if one partner communicates differently from the other; it's life.

My Taekook story isn't complicated at all and it has very little holes and contradictions. They fell in love, they couldn't be open about it, they were hidden, stuff happens to keep them safe.

I wish I could just fully understand and know how to deal with my trauma

Even more than that, I wish more than anything I didn't have to go through the stuff I did. And I'm just mad that everyone I grew up around either actively harmed me, or stood by and let it happen

I never felt safe at home. My mother and uncle were in & out of jail, and drug addicts. My uncle was an alcoholic, who repeatedly attempted suicide in front of me. In the rare event they were both out of jail, they would shout at each other all the time, punch through walls & doors, and in one case, push each other across the room (leading to my mother dragging me out of the house, and trying to make me sleep on a park bench over the night)

And then there's how they'd treat me. If I got bad grades (basically, below A+), they would yell at me, telling me if never be worth anything. My mother told me that I'd better get a good job, so she can have somewhere to live when her mother dies. She lost custody of her little brother because of all the drugs she was on, and just needed to go to rehab for 6 months. I literally begged her, crying to go, but she didn't think it was worth it (showing how much she values us)

My uncle claimed he loved me, but treated me as "one of the guys" (and, I'm just saying, the fact he was in his 30s-40s, buying beer for teens, and letting his 4 year old nephew drink one is sus). That's when he wasn't dragging me out of bed in the middle of the night to eat dinner (giving me horrible rug burn on my chest after dragging me all the way to the kitchen), or burning me with a cigarette

And my grandmother, she basically raised me. She said she didn't want to lose another grandchild (my mother abandoned my sister with her paternal grandparents, and my older brother was taken away because she did Meth when she was pregnant with him). But, she said she'd never stop her from seeing me

The issue is, she neglected me. Anyone who knew me after 2016 knows about the time I had a 104° fever for 2 days straight, and I didn't go to the hospital (thankfully, the fever broke before I did). But the fact she knew her children were delinquents, and still got them to watch me is unbelievable. She continued to let them watch me, even when both of them had restraining orders, because they were too horrible to be around kids. But no one was there to advocate for me, so I had to live through that for 15 years

And then there's the mental stuff. I was horribly bullied at school (and still preferred it to home, which she knew, so that should've told her something), and she didn't question why. I was eventually diagnosed with ADHD & Depression. I'm self-DXed with Autism, but most places won't do adult testing. So, what did my grandmother do: she ignored it. She lied whenever someone asked if I was ever tested for ADHD or Autism (I never was, but she repeatedly said I wasn't). And I don't blame my teachers anymore (because there's apparently a stupid law that they're not allowed to even bring up the possiblity of a kid having some disorder), but I blame her for not caring enough to even look into it. And for instilling ableism I'm me, so I never considered the possibility (well, I considered it several times, but I refused to accept it, because I couldn't bring myself to actually look past my preconceptions until I was adopted)

Eventually, my life settled down when my Great-Grandmother had a fall, and we moved in. She didn't much like me, but we avoided each other for the most part. Then, my grandmother died. She never taught me to live on my own (I couldn't even do laundry). I lost 40 pounds in 2 months because I was just too depressed to eat. I still don't think I'm over it, because even though I'm mad at her, she was the woman who raised me

And I won't deny that religious trauma is real for most people, but the LDS Church helped me alot, and continues to help me. I have a community that actually cares, friends who genuinely like me, and a philosophy & theology that teaches I am divine, worth loving. I have issues with the culture (such as my worth being defined by my work), but ultimately, it does more good in my life

And I don't know how to deal with any of this. I still deal with self-hatred, occasional outbursts (which further deepen the aforementioned self hatred), and a general "eh" feeling (it's way worse without my meds, and I've had a few bursts of real happiness recently)

I don't want to hang on to the past. But I don't know how to deal with everything (because this doesn't even cover it all. I never mentioned things like when I was SAed when I was 5, because it wasn't done by anyone I was related to).

A trainwreck of my emotional state

Honestly, I'm having a hard time trying to word this. I don't want it to come off as an "Oh, pity this person", but I also don't know what I want it to come off as. I would also like to note that I am not su***dal, just struggling with perfectionism and a shit ton of self-hate and self-doubt

hate having nothing to do and having no one home around. It makes me feel so empty inside, and I turn to distractions. YouTube no longer helps, and neither does playing games. I feel like I know exactly why. I want to be somewhat out there online, and I don't want to be just the one playing the games. The hardest part for me is then getting the motivation to start/learn, as I just see more and more people out there. Who would want to play a shitty game made over a week, or watch a video on a topic when there are others on said topic with 200% higher production quality. These thoughts just completely make me lose interest in doing anything, and the cycle repeats. I desperately want an out to the cycle, but... I can't even get started. Any project, be it a game or video, I end up scrapping due to someone else doing it better. I want to talk about things that interest me, but I have no clue how to edit a video and do research on shit. For game dev, I have zero art skills for assets to be made by myself, and no money to hire anyone for assets, and zero time to even sit down to learn (Thanks American schooling system, I owe you one). We end up back in the cycle of wanting to do shit, get started, see someone do it better, then scrap it. It also doesn't help that if I can't do something perfectly the first time, I completely scrap it, and never touch that thing again.

I want to be free from this cycle of hell that I'm trapped in. Nothing seems fun anymore as I'm reminded that I want to be the one making these things, but whenever I get started, the feeling of "someone else has done it better, no-one would want to play your shitty game/watch your shitty video" comes on, and I delete it. I want to start. I want to get out there. How I will, how long it will take, and what I will start with, I do not know. This "I want to start" feeling will probably go away the moment I do start a project and it will get scrapped, so the cycle will once more repeat. I feel almost as if there are no options, and I am stuck in the cycle.

There are two things I've noticed I need to learn, Music-Making and Asset Creation for game design. The hardest part for me is, again, getting started. My slight perfectionism doesn't let me do anything unless it's, I don't know how to describe it well so this might make zero sense, an absolute masterpiece, Camellia-level stuff, in assets and music, which I don't even know how to make. This perfectionism and self-doubt/hate telling me that I'm never going to be capable of anything decent makes me not even want to start, again throwing me back into that cycle.

Another struggle for me is dealing with criticism, from others and myself. I know it's natural to have criticism, everyone needs it to improve, but for me, any bit of criticism, and I feel like the entire thing was absolutely god awful, the worst shit has ever been made. Most times the criticism isn't even from other people, it's from myself. Even if people are saying great things, I will still find and beat myself over every little thing, even if I don't want to. What is scaring me is what I will feel like when I start and work on bigger and bigger projects, if it ever gets there. How will I be able to handle others' reactions, and most importantly, how will I be able to handle myself?

Is this a cry for help? No, but also yes. I want to get started. I want to get out of this perfectionism, and self-doubt/hatred. I have some game-making skills, but I feel as if it's not enough, as if I'm worthless in this area and should just give up. I have noticed that my biggest hater is not someone out there in the world, but myself. This has been something I've been struggling with for a while, but now that the internet is more within my reach and I can start making things, these feelings have started to become not the most controllable.

I have no clue how to end this trainwreck of a post about my emotional state right now. (Any resources, be it mental health stuff, tutorials for art/music, or assets n shit ill take it.) Hopefully in the next 2 months ill have been able to start breaking the cycle and getting out there. See you in 2 months, if anyone even reads this.

unrequited. the first word that comes to mind is love, isn’t it? an unrequited love. a love that isn’t reciprocated. love. something overwhelming. something that makes your heart feel things nothing else would. if love is so large and profound, if it takes over your heart— then what becomes of it when it’s unrequited?

it hurts. it hurts like death.

if love envelops your heart with rose petals, then the realization that it can’t be reciprocated turns those petals into chains that tighten around it until it shatters. and when it shatters, it’s utterly painful. it can bring you to tears, it can make you freeze entirely, it can make you scream, yell, throw things. and sometimes none of the above. sometimes you’re partly over it— sometimes you knew the love was unrequited from the moment it began.

so you stand still.

and that’s just what you and han seojun did while watching the people you both liked kiss.

the wind and distant, incoherent yelling of the other students was the only thing that filled the otherwise overbearing silence. you stared down at the scene, unmoving, expressionless.

you sighed. “yeah. we are.”

deep down, you knew neither of you chose to like suho and jukyung. neither of you chose to make your heart beat so fast it hurt anytime you’d see them. neither of you chose a path you knew would only bring you pain. your heart did. you hated that. both of you.

the worst of it was that suho seemed happy. and that brought a small smile to your face. yet you wanted to cry when you thought about the reason why he was happy. and then you felt like it was wrong, because you couldn’t wish for him to be unhappy. you couldn’t wish for his love to be unrequited. not when you wanted to see him smile so much.

but it hurt.

“we should leave.” you sighed, crossing you arms and turning to face seojun. “if we keep staying alone together like this we might actually get people to think we’re dating.”

he laughed, turning to face you. “wouldn’t you be overjoyed? i’m the han seojun, after all.”

you flicked his forehead and he muttered an insult that you ignored as you started walking away.

“honestly, it might not be bad for us to be dating.” he said.

“you’re kidding. this would make everything worse. we’d only be doing it to ease each other’s pain. how could we even call it dating when we both know we like someone else?”

“dunno.” he sighed, following you. “just saying.”

maybe you would date. neither of you were known to be good at decision-making, after all. he ran up to you and he threw his arm over your shoulder, making you laugh as you tried to push him away. the sound of your laughter was almost enough to drown out the sound of the pain in your chests. almost.

Thoughts While Watching Gilmore Girls, Season 1/Episode 10 ("Forgiveness and Stuff") Part 1 of 2

Dean gets a stupid nickname from the Townies. Amy Sherman Palladino still refuses to drop this "Dean Likes To Read" utter nonsense. Lorelai doesn't bash Dean's skull in for skulking around her windows at night. Lorelai and Dean reenact Romeo and Juliet. Luke's serves hipster pizza. Richard goes to the hospital, where some sweet and emotionally touching scenes occur. Emily starts to cry and is probably confused about why her face is leaking. Lorelai buys Luke a hat and he makes her a Santa Burger.

I feel like there weren't enough Christmas-themed episodes of this show. A lot of winter-themed episodes, but not really Christmas. A Christmas day or Eve episode would have been really cute.

Adorable stuff. Doesn't anyone in Stars Hollow have jobs? What do they do all day when there's not a festival, pageant, fundraiser, or hootnanny to plan or attend?

Wow, SO SAUCY. I heard the Dean fandom (????) call themselves "Narcos". The fuck is that name? "Rogan" is equally stupid (I renamed them RoryBurger, which is much better), it sounds like Rogaine or Joe Rogan. "JavaJunkie" for Luke and Lorelai is clunky, and like, who is anything BUT Team Luke & Lorelai anyway? Is there a Team Digger? Team Rachel?

But "Literati"? That one's absolutely perfect. Dean falls asleep with the town princess and the worst thing that happens to him is some townies call him "Narcolepsy Boy"? Again, let this happen with Jess and see how he would fare. I really need to give a name to this "Re-imagine this scenario with Jess in Dean's shoes because Jess could never get away with anything Dean does" line of thought. The Mariano-Forester Paradox? Okay, we'll go with that for now. I doubt that's the correct use of the word "Paradox" but bear with me. Rory: I haven't spoken to Dean in four days. I told him not to call. Lane: Didn't he listen? Rory: No (smiles) Lane: Good boy. Ehhhh??

How many times must I plead for the writers of this show to finally drop this "Dean loves to read" thing! It makes no sense and I'm over it! For the love of crackers... Lane: "Just imagine that you gave Dean smething really romantic, and he gave you...a football." Okay but a football would be way more romantic than a piece of spare change on a string.

I love this outfit/jewelry/hair on Alexis. She looks really pretty.

Scanning for any interesting ornaments on the Gilmore tree, but only the "No Pouting" one stands out.

Lorelai is eating a SALAD? Willingly? This is highly unusual.

That's slightly more believable Lorelai Behavior. I guess the punch line is that she's supposed to be depressed because she couldn't get a pizza delivered, so she resorts to eating a salad, but why did she have it in the house in the first place?

A faint knocking is heard. Lorelai looks up from her depression salad...

She gets up to investigate... the knocking continues...

Like something out of Romeo and Fucking Juliet.

We are about to witness one of the first and most nauseating scenes out of the Dean and Lorelai Affair (henceforth known as DALA), that thing where Dean does or says something creepy, inappropriate, hurtful, annoying or weird, and Lorelai's reaction to it is...very sus. I CANNOT be the only one who sees this...and thankfully I know I'm not, I think most people just don't want to admit it, lol. Lorelai engages Dean in gentle conversation, instead of grabbing a blunt instrument & striking him unconcious. The Mariano-Forrester Paradox is in play. Jess pulled something similar at Lane's house, but Mrs. Kim actually had the appropriate reaction, which was to grab a weapon. This even outcreeps that time Jess emerged from the bushes in Emily's driveway at night in Season 6 (to which Rory only reacted with mild surprise and didn't hop back in her car and run him over). Can the boys on this show stop being so creepy please?!

I feel like there is some sort of cosmic justice behind the fact that Lorelai spent years touting the Virtues of Dean Forrester while panicking whenever Jess breathed around Rory, only for Jess and Rory to never actually have sex but a married Dean ends up taking her daughter's virginity. Honestly, a smile creeps onto my face when I imagine how everything eventually backfires in Lorelai's face. (Not to mention the cosmic justice of Jess eventually becoming her literal family. I hope she likes being called Auntie Lorelai).

Nah, she's about a minute away from inviting you in for a cup of cocoa with little marshmallows in it and a snuggle on the couch.

He's such a dickhead when he does this thing where he talks over Lorelai like he's not a fucking 17 year old kid talking to someone's mother. "You can hate me if you want." Good, no one asked. Shut up.

Lies, lies, lies. Dean:"She'll go to Harvard, and if she doesn't, it won't be because of me."

Yes, Mr "Oh, it's about Harvard, excuse me, I forgot!" has always been very supportive of Rory's dreams. Why is Lorelai STILL having a gentle little conversation with this creepwad through the window? Slam the window down on his fucking fingers, Lorelai! DO IT! Lorelai & Dean continue to flirt for the next several minutes.

Lorelai, I notice you still aren't listening to me. You're letting him leave without smashing the window down on his head or at least his fingers. Can we have a word? I may or may not have booby trapped it. Just curious, are you scared of pirahnas? Good luck.

Here's a terrible joke I made up all by myself: Why is Santa Claus a better man than Jess Mariano's father? Because Jess held out hope that Santa would visit him once a year.

I actually did make a list here about the type of yanderes I like, but I do have a couple more since it's been a while, haha.

Liev from Pulsato Cordis - I'm not sure exactly why I like him, but I think it's because he's both a reluctant yandere and is afraid of scaring the MC (in one part he ends up panicking if you call him a monster). Plus he has cute reactions if you pay for his meal. Overall, I like the relationship built up between him and Quinn.

Lake from Forever Yours - I mean technically it's not out yet, but @dei-os is in the process of making it and I do love my pathetic crying yandere guys. I honestly don't see the crybaby type a lot a lot (I think the closest one that I've seen is like maybe Trick or Kiss or maybe Yeonho from Nameless before his redemption arc) so seeing him and his personality makes me immediately like him.

Yuuto/Oliver/Odin from @tsukaramachi - currently she hasn't really been active (I'm assuming university is taking up her time), but I really do like her Ocs and general art style. Yuuto for obvious reasons is the poster child, he's pretty sweet and tries to become the person the s/o likes (which I always like). Oliver is a crybaby so I mean, no surprises there and Odin is a weird drooly dogboy and he's cute too.

Xie Yun from Pestered by the Yandere Once Again - Future Recommendation, but I did like reading this one even if the main female lead kinda gets away with most things? The yandere in this one is like a puppy dog and the main female lead is pretty cool. The plot is kinda confusing though, but listen... he's cute.

Taiyou/Tsukita from StalkerxStalker - It's more of a comedy based one, but I still think it's really cute. The bigger buffer guy is more of the softy in this one while the smaller cuter one is the scarier one. It hasn't been translated in a while though, so that's unfortunate.

Akira from How to Train your Handsome but Overbearing Boyfriend- I always forget about this one, but when I watch it, I remember how much I love it. I keep watching it over and over again for no reason, but the relationship is cute. I just like cute things okay.

Abyss from Kiss the Abyss - This is more in the idea that I like the entire thing and not necessarily just Abyss, but since I love the Killing Game genre so much, this one was really fun to read. It's really well written and fun to read through. Plus, I think the dynamic between Abyss and Prince is really balanced, which is rare in a lot of BL style stories, if I'm honest.

Kirihara Kan from There is a Lie in My Contract Marriage - I actually don't like the yandere in this one, but the story is really interesting and kept me on my toes. Plus, the artstyle is pretty nice too.

Amane Ryugen from My Perverted Stalker - ystrike might not like it, but dang it, I did! I mean aside from the kinda sus stuff that happens and how quickly conflicts are resolved, I actually do like the relationship between Amane and Rindo. Amane isn't too extreme of a yandere but he has enough to warrant being one. Future Recommendation.

The Mermaid from What's Your name - Future Recommendation. I can't really tell the name of the mermaid because that kind of defeats the purpose of the game, but I really did like his route. His attitude about things was really cute and innocent (being afraid that he got her pregnant just by touching her was really funny) while also being dangerous in many ways. I think the MCs for each route are pretty unique as well.

if you can't tell, I have a... type and usually, it's a mix of can I coddle this yandere and/or break them because there's no in-between. It kind of makes it hard to find the type of yanderes I like, but that's alright, I think it's good to experience different things.

Oh, I too, also love Kylar a lot. He fits into that category after all and plus, I think his interactions are really cute. And his dismissal event... well, that one is pretty good too. Now if only I could top him...

Quick rundown on Chat Blanc 2 aka Ephemeral, where Thomas literally pulled the same cards on why they can't know each other's secret identities 👌😀

(I'm sorry in advance, the livestream was very laggy and a lot of times the screen went black so I'll probably leave out a lot of stuff, but I need to write it down because what the fock was that)

- Gabriel is still staring at his dead wife, literally GASLIGHTING HER CORPSE saying "everything I do, I do it for you"

- although his designs are ugly as hell, he somehow had 100 releases already, and I'm pretty sure it's for Emilie's memory this time

- he literally leaves Adrien to DO THE PRESS CONFERENCE ALONE because he can sense Jagged Stone's capitalist manager crying over a quarter

- Ladybug cannot fight the akuma alone, so she asks every hero that ever showed up on the show to help her and Adrien sees it while being bullied by at least a 100 cameras and reporters

- he says that everything his father does, he does it for Emilie (love parallels, don't we Thomas?)

- Adrien wants to leave and help but HE STILL CARES SO MUCH FOR HIS FATHER AND DOESN'T WANT TO DISAPPOINT HIM that he stays and bittersweetly watches as Ladybug saves the day again

- and here comes the "i want to punch my screen so hard that i knock out that ugly egg head" because he searches for Ladybug in the sewers (he probably lives there imo) when she gets Luka's miraculous back AND DARES TO SAY that if Ladybug won't get to know Chat's identity, HE who actually didn't do anything good in the show before, WILL SEARCH FOR ANOTHER CHAT 🤠

- Ladybug shooes Su-Han off then makes a deal with Luka because she doesn't want to lose her Minou; Luka will stay when Ladybug gets to know Chat's identity and Luka will go back in time

- BUT!! When Adrien finally reveals himself, Ladybug just freezes up, so Luka can't turn back time anymore and Marinette has to live with this weight on her shoulders iN tHe ReAl TimELInE nOw??🤪

- she leaves poor Adrien on the top of the Eiffel tower waiting for her to reveal her identity now, but Adrien is such a sweetheart, he lets her have her stage fright moment and tells her he will wait for her until she feels comfortable 🥺

- it was actually kinda cute how CONTRAIRE to Chat Blanc, Marinette doesn't take Chat Noir's identity so well, she freaks out because she thought she loved Adrien, but... how come she never loved her furry little friend (RIP marichat shippers) and they turn out to be the same??!?!

- we see a manic Adrien climbing his walls because of how happy he is that he will see Ladybug without her costume and Plagg just dies inside

- Marinette cannot look the same at Adrien anymore I mean, the boy literally calls himself a cat at one point, Marinette must feel so stupid that she didn't realise it before BECAUSE ADRIEN AIN'T EVEN TRYING TO HIDE THE FACT THE HE IS CHAT

- then comes the sweetest Lukanette scene, where Luka kinda reveals that he knows Marinette is Ladybug. Marinette weeps because she is scared she never knew Adrien really before after getting to know such a big secret of his, but Luka brushes her worries away; because after he got to know an amazing girl's secret, he became happier, making everything fall to place, because he got to know her better 💔💔💔

- so Ladybug starts to fall in love with this Adrien/Chat slowly (cut to a 100k friends to lovers to friends to... lovers ao3 slowburn story montage) and she reveals herself to Adrien (OKAY BUT ADRIEN LITERALLY TRANSFORMS AND DETRANSFORMS SO COMFORTABLY IN FRONT OF LADYBUG THAT MY HEART COULDN'T TAKE IT IT WAS SOOO DOMESTIC)

- Adrien reacts like in Chat Blanc, being incredibly happy that such a good FRIEND 🤠 of his is also his lover and THEY 👏 NEVER 👏 STOP 👏 BLUSHING

- cue "Adrien can never truly be happy - the writers of the show", so after dating for a minute, GABRIEL THE WORST FATHER EVER listens in to Adrien's lovesick phone call and INSTANTLY SHOWS THE POOR BOY HIS MOTHER'S CORPSE

- i'm not kidding, how is this mf still alive though? Abusive isn't enough at this point

-anyways, Adrien doesn't want to help his father's evil plan so GABRIEL AKUMATIZES HIM AND I CANNOT TELL YOU !!! I DONT EVER WANT TO SEE THAT SEQUENCE EVER AGAIN

-Gabriel steals Plagg and it seems like after declaring that he is the miraculous' new master, Plagg is NOT able to say NO to obeying him anymore??

- Marinette waits for Adrien on their movie date and lmao finally we get the Ladrien move date WITH BALD CHAT GABRIEL and THE SADDEST AKUMATIZED ADRIEN EVER (his power is taking back time from one's miraculous, i actually love that this is what Ephemeral meant)

-Marinette types like the wind and sends a heads up to Luka before detransforming

- Luka immediately goes to Marinette's place (he flies with his bicycle while Gabriel chokes Marinette out 😀👍) and finds Sass just as she explained to him where to find the kwamis

-as the apocalypse is coming because Gabriel tries to make a whole new world (!) Sass takes matters into his tiny little paws and goes back to the time right before Chat reveales himself

- the time is MESSED UP and we see dinos and Jeanne d'Arc running around while our heroes reunite in the sewers

-they have to fix it by going to space and putting the right time in a satellite, honestly my brain was already a mush after everything happening at this point but yeah

- Chat sings to Ladybug while they float in space among the beautiful stars 💗

- then the episode ends with Ladybug GOING OFF (queen👑) and tells that bald Su-Han mf that he is useless so he should stfu and when I tell you he instantly teared up and stayed in his place apologizing with everything he had lmao

- the moral of the story, lovesquare still cannot thrive because Gabriel will never change and until he isn't caught by pest control, Adrien will stay a sad boy in an abusive household🥲

Thoughts & Reaction to EPHEMERAL

Well, my throat hurts from all the screaming. It's another long one, probably the longest I've ever written, with pictures, just a heads up! But you probably already expected as much lol. Opening scenes, so Gabriel can actually hear a person's negative emotions, like their crying or their words of anger? Wow. How can you hear your son cry in Glaciator 2 and still do what you do?! Gabriel messes with his ring as he's giving orders to Adrien, yes, but there's also another constant in such cases: Emilie. He's getting desperate to akumatize Bob Roth and while he's thinking of doing that, he messes with his ring because it's this much closer he's coming to bringing her back to him. "Honor my work and the memory of your mother." Instant guilt. Do you think Adrien would hesitate to do what he's told after that? Because I sure don't! That reporter is horrible, I can't believe she'd talk about his mom like that, what is wrong with her?! "All my father has done, he did it for her." *cuts to akuma attack* Oh Adrien, you don't know the half of it. Good lord. The poor boy has to have someone watching him, talking into his ear, when he does these kinds of events. Ugh that makes me feel so gross.

Okay, who's driving the fire truck? Answer: Purple Tigress! In Ladybug's vision, she's looking around for what to do. All the highlighted people have a role we see (Viperion and Carapace on the truck, Polymouse the distraction, Vesperia and her Venom. But no Purple Tigress who was also highlighted, so she's the driver! In case anyone wanted to know c: Viperion having to keep doing the codes over and over omg that'd be awful. At least it was only 100 tries (poor Adrien and his 25,319 times 🥲) Of all the people Ladybug was with when Su Han showed up, it's great it was Luka! (now he also has to see what she puts up with) "What if he's doing whatever he wants with it, acting like Shadowmoth?" I mean... he did use it to destroy billboards, does transform to get out of the house and see the people and all that stuff, but like... nothing bad? Su Han: You have to know his identity! Me: So I see you don't know about Chat Blanc yet. But seriously, I actually agree with him. She does need to know him. This episode showed as much, and things could always get worse than that. But that's all, he does not need to know about her. Not until Shadowmoth is no longer Shadow/Hawk Moth/any Miraculous. Luka: As long as (Shadowmoth) doesn't know who you are, you're not of interest to him! Marinette: Exactly... but if we need to, a superhero can know the identity of Chat Noir...or mine, but not both! Luka who knows both: 😬Well that's not good... At this point in time, Luka already knows. And Luka even said himself, why doesn't he just go himself? She said Chat Noir would only tell her, but I bet that's not true. Luka could go to him and just tell him he knows already, but Ladybug can't know that and that she sent him to ask about it and why. It'd be perfectly fine that way. Obviously, if we had that, we wouldn't have an episode. So we need to take from what we do see this episode, and learn what the problems are in this situation. "But not both" ding ding ding, oh, if only you stuck to this later on this episode! Ladybug and Viperon are so cute, I love them as friends. x3 Kind of awkward though when Luka's kind of spying on Marinette talking with Adrien and he knows it the entire time. 😂 Chat Noir: Oh no, she wants to talk to me. She's probably going to be so mad that I didn't show up! Ladybug: I need to talk to Chat Noir to find out his identity, something he's always wanted. He sure didn't see that coming! Meanwhile, during their conversation, Luka's like HURRY UP, TIME'S RUNNING OUT! Chat Noir: I am... Adrien Agreste. Ladybug:

"Yeah, and I'm Audrey Bourgeois! You couldn't be more different!" You totally nailed it, Ladybug! lol "....Plagg, claws in." That beat of silence kills me. 🤣 Ladybug: I can't know who Chat Noir is, we have to erase me knowing. Also Ladybug, finds out he's Adrien: Nope, nevermind, I'm not forgetting this! Luka: I hope she knows what she's doing. Well, she did. Until she revealed herself. "I'm Ma-Ma-Ma-" nice shout-out to her "I'm ma-ma-madly clumsy!" scene in S1! Also her eye twitching when she says it. XD I love how Adrien is like oh don't worry, just tell me when you're comfortable! Like BOY I LOVE YOU, YOU PRECIOUS CINNAMON ROLL! So sweet and understanding to his Lady awwww x3 "So... you know who I am, and where I live..." "Uhh, I have to go and think. See you later!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Adrien, you were not just about to suggest that she comes visits you now. Oh my gosh! This. This is her face when she's leaving.

"As long as he doesn't know who I am, it's okay! I'll do everything I can to keep it that way." This was true. Things were fine. And then she did what she knew she shouldn't and exposed herself! Do I blame her? Nope, not at all. Do I blame him? No, he was in his own room thinking that he could say what he wanted to his girlfriend. I mean, he's been able to avoid being caught as being Chat Noir so far, right? But what if the reason Gabriel went in Adrien's room is because he can sense he's super happy now? Is what keeps Gabriel away from him his sadness? x.x "You can openly show your love for Adrien!" "It's not that simple, Tikki. I'm in love with Adrien, but I don't love Chat Noir." Okay Marinette, so all the looks you've given him when you think he's not looking over the seasons, the flirting back, the anger you feel when you think he loves someone else and not you anymore, the jealousy you've felt since season 1 of Chat Noir gets close to some other girl... what's all that? Friends don't react that way about friends. It's amusing Marinette having to come to terms with the idea that the boy she loves is the boy she has been saying she doesn't love, and doesn't know what to do. But she's like, I don't even know what to think at this point. Meanwhile he's literally climbing and bouncing around the walls all over his room with excitement lol "She's going to get to know the real me!" She already knows Adrien fairly well. xD Ms. Bustier: Can you tell me who wrote 'I am a cat' ADRIEN YOU CAN'T BE OUTING YOURSELF NOW THAT LADYBUG KNOWS YOU DORK! "Meow meow!" Seriously, I'd like to think this is just Marinette's mind thinking these things, but it actually looks like it's really Adrien. And the look on her face in that moment is priceless, like "What have I done."

Honestly I feel like it must be such a shock. In her mind, she saw them as completely different people. Struggled so much to tell Adrien her feelings who behaved one way (who Adrien says himself is the real him. I think he's just a mix of both, like is the same with Ladybug and Marinette). Then when she's Ladybug she's dealt with all sorts of issues and things with Chat Noir that are entirely different from Adrien. Now suddenly, she has to get used to the idea that these two very different boys are actually the same. *runs into Adrien* "Sorry, I'm so uncomfortable... uh, I mean clumsy! Very clumsy." awww it's like Origins again! Love the throwback. But poor Marinette's seeing him acting like Chat in her mind (I love the filter to emphasize this) and after that she just can't deal and runs away. XD The way he gets up and throws his hands out to his side like "what did I do?!" cracks me up! Poor boy doesn't understand but dang lololol

I'm so glad Luka knows. Obviously, him knowing saved everything, but she also has things she can talk about with him that she can't with Alya. Tikki suggested talking to her about Adrien being Chat Noir, and Marinette knew she couldn't. So the next day, it's Luka that comes to her seeing her distraught and knows exactly what's wrong. "I'm under the impression that you don't hear the same song anymore when you look at Adrien." "Luka, have you ever thought you knew a person, and discovered that they had an unimaginable secret?" "Yes." "And has it not completely changed the way you see them? Because they are not the person that you knew anymore." "No, quite the opposite! After the surprise, it allowed me to get to know them better! And to love them even more..." I like this. He's pretty much helping her see the situation from a different perspective, one that she's still too stuck in that "surprise" stage to see. Now she gets to get over that stage and help her really see, thanks to Luka. Also the fact that based on this, you get the sense of she knows he knows, but they won't speak about it. Which I honestly really like, it kind of shows their deep level of understanding between them. I feel bad for Luka but there's nothing that can be done and he knows that.

Do you have to hurt me like this, writers of Miraculous? Ladynoir has been my favorite side of the ship of for the past 4 years. Chat Blanc had adorable Adrienette and a Marichat scene which I loved, but not really any solid Ladynoir. Then we get this! But what happens? It gets taken away because she had to reveal herself too even though she said she shouldn't. Dx To think we could've had episodes with these soft Ladybug-looking-at-Chat-Noir looks for awhile 😭It's like here, she's kind of able to blend Chat Noir and Adrien together and realize that she loves both. (I still think she's going to have to know by season's end anyway, based on the finale synopsis. By then, maybe something will change so she sees Chat differently due to Chat's efforts. So I just need to be patient a bit longer.) Ahem. Welp, I'm Adrien Agreste. Famous model. Images are all over Paris with my face on it, and I even just had a press conference where everyone was watching me. I'm supposed to be in my room right now, but my dad doesn't know that I'm not, as I sneaked out of my room to be Chat Noir. It's also nighttime, when I'm really not supposed to be outside and am likely to be seen with photos taken of me. But I'mma detransform and walk home, that sounds like a good idea! 👍 Seriously what in the world is that boy thinking in this moment?! When Adrien called Ladybug "m'lady" she knew she had to say something and was ready. Awwww but darn it Ladybug you know better than this! You might be ready, but the situation isn't ready yet! Blushing Adrien kills me oh my gosh! He didn't even blush at all in Chat Blanc! Now he's a blushing mess and I've been waiting for this for so long since it's always Marinette that blushes like crazy and I wanted it to be reciprocated! Why would you give this to us and then take it away?! Why?! AND THE ACTUAL HEARTBEAT! He's in such shock! He doesn't even know what to say, just freezes in place with his jaw dropped and his face as red as Nathaniel's hair! "Well... say something!" *silence and he looks like a deer in the headlights* Awww poor boy, at least Marinette's had a few days to process. He's like what is even happening right now it's her. But now she's shy because she's worried the silence means disappointment. :c "I just discovered that one of my best friends is the one that I love and admire more than anything in the world!" Awwww one of his best friends, that's so sweet x3 And it's so weird how this feels like one of Marinette's fantasies (like the one in Glaciator 2) only it's actually real. I don't know about you, but I'm really glad they went for a hug here instead of a kiss. It feels more slow that way, more realistic. In Chat Blanc, we were supposed to feel like some time had passed from them getting together, to Chat Blanc's akumatization. This time, this covered more of how Ladybug views and thinks of Chat Noir and Adrien being the same person, and what would cause her knowing him first to end badly. And in this case, it's not her knowing him that's bad, but her deciding to go against revealing herself because she knows who he is. Obviously, them dating would have to wait until Gabriel's not Shadow Moth anymore, but her knowing is super important for attacks and other situations. One of their problems is, when they both know, it clouds their judgement for some things, because they're too happy to think straight. xD

The way these two act is actually pretty telling. While the situation itself with them feels right (or right enough) based on how it's handled, especially in comparison to Chat Blanc, it still feels off. Like something's missing here. And then the way their Kwamis are, you just know this still isn't the right time.

Adrien: I'm so HAPPY and in love. Hearing this novel is so wonderful! Marinette: I'm so tired I just want to sleep right now when will this class end. Lol But awww the note passing is so adorable x3 The one disappointment I have is Alya and Nino not looking over like WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED but I mean, maybe we'll get that when we really have this moment. 🥲 Their. Phone. Conversation. Felt. So. Natural. And. CUTE! Oh gosh please please please, give us this for real soon. 😭 I think 5 years is long enough to wait. But I have to keep reminding myself that with each one of these what-ifs, you notice the situation gets better for them. And I think we're almost there. (I'll have a separate post about this in just a bit!) Also he's still blushing. He blushes like crazy every time he's around Marinette now. There was never a situation where he blushed like that around Ladybug or Marinette, and now here we are. Every scene he's blushing! x3 Okay what if: Marinette was the one to hang up instead of Adrien. Except, Gabriel still would know that somethings up with them and we'd probably get a close repeat Chat Blanc situation where he'd force her to break up with him. But maybe that time would be different since they both know about each other and would hopefully be more likely to communicate. Maybe. But this was probably the best scenario from the second Gabriel walked in that door and overheard. :/ Has he ever heard of knocking? Makes you wonder why he went in there originally though, doesn't it? If he sensed Adrien's feelings and wanted to know why he was so happy, that sucks. The animation in this episode is amazing and I'm loving the details. Like how Adrien just woke up so he's moving kind of sluggish and not fully aware yet. Adrien found out his mom's just lying there in an unknown state one second, then the next he finds out his dad is Shadow Moth. And no Ladybug there to be any kind of comfort this time. Thank goodness he akumatized him as Adrien and not Chat Noir. Here we are, seeing that zoom-in of Shadow Moth playing with his ring (that's not actually there, but just shows a force of habit). He does that whenever he thinks of Emilie, and a lot of the time that's when he's akumatizing someone or is about to akumatize someone. Like in his subconscious, it's his way of thinking "I almost have you back." In Mega Leech, he does that when Adrien ruined his plans. We all know Gabriel doesn't do anything, especially anything major, without it being a huge Shadow Moth scheme to try to get their Miraculous. And Mega Leech was not part of that plan. Adrien blew it for him, so he's thinking "I could've had you back had it succeeded." There's also something really significant with the rings we still don't know. As Amelie said, "Those jewels have always been in the Graham de Vanily family, not the Agrestes." Not to mention, he did have his ring stolen off his hand, I imagine something special like that, and having the last one, would cause a person to me more conscious of it to make sure it's still there. WOO PLAGG! He tried to Cataclysm Shadowmoth I'm so proud lol I LOVE THAT LUKA JUST KNOWS EVERYTHING OKAY 😭 I adore Luka. I love their friendship, it's just so sweet, caring, and it saved the world. What more could you want from a friendship? The animation when she's screaming "no" and wiggling around trying to break free O.o who animated this episode? I really want to know, it looks so good! Chat Blanc: Yeets Chat Noir across Paris into the Eiffel Tower. Ephemeral: Yeets Marinette across the room. Can this man stop yeeting these kids like that? Dude. I don't care if you think you're getting your new reality or whatever, the fact you think that's makes it okay.... x.x Luka bursting into the bakery is one of the best scenes this show has ever had. Joan of Arc? Interesting! I wonder if she went back to her own time after that and thought about this weird other Bug holder lol Chat Noir, why are you so shocked Viperion detransformed into Luka. You were the one to suggest him in the first place. 😂I guess it's the shock

of seeing someone detransform in front of him like that? It's amazing what Adrien would do for Plagg. When he has to eat that cheese, he acts like he's holding back throwing up omg poor boy "Chat, chat, CHAT CHAT !" This...this is beautiful. 👏👏👏 "It's very pretty! What was that?" I- This scene is one of my favorites of all-time. Not even joking. "What did you want to talk about, back on the Eiffel Tower?" "Ah! Nothing important. Let's keep falling." ":(" So um. That felt weird. Not sure if it's in a "foreshadowing that it's actually very important that that conversation takes place again, only later on" way or if it's a "I'm not even important enough for her to talk to me about something that seems urgent...:c" way. Ugh. The Ladybug and Su Han pound it is adorable and I love their bond being better, especially after losing Master Fu. But I really don't think he was wrong in this case. At least, she really does need to know. The situation they saw that day proves as much. Imagine something worse than that coming up? Like she said, she just couldn't let him know about her until Shadow Moth or any variants of him are no more. Overall I absolutely loved this episode, no question. Obviously very sad the reveal(s) and all didn't stick but now I feel like seeing awkward Marinette around Adrien and Adrien acting all casual with her just doesn't feel right anymore (I watched Felix and a part of Mega Leech to touch on parts of this post.) It felt super weird to see them not acting like they were here to me. Which I think goes to show how well done and natural they felt in Ephemeral! Gabriel Agreste is next week, and I'm looking forward to it! Honestly ngl I kind of like Felix's character in terms of how interesting he is. I'm looking forward to seeing how the interaction is between he and Adrien, and how Marinette/Ladybug will react to having to see him again. As well as of course hopefully some more info about Emilie and seeing what brought Felix and Amelie back to Paris!

Yui Kaoru

Oh, where to start with Yui

He is the sweetest little brother, no question about it

I feel like family is super important to him, so having his sister's support in his decisions is a top priority

He'd definitely go to you when he's unsure of things. It doesn't matter if it's baseball related or not, if he's conflicted he wants your advice or opinion

Ok ok, but when Yui was little (like little little, I'm talking 5 years old) he stuck to you like glue. Poor boy would cry every morning you left for school and would hug you for a good 5 minutes before he let you go

There was not a time that he wasn't tottering behind you for an adventure. He always tried to keep up with you, but eventually he diverge some of that time towards baseball

Rounding back to the topic of hugs, Yui still gives them to you! Doesn't matter what age he is, hugs are his way of showing his appreciation towards you

When you go to watch his games, he always greets you with a hug (though he gets a bit shy about it if his team is near by)

I think because of how important his sister is to him, if you happened to see him perform poorly in a game he'd beat himself up over it. Yui takes pride in his sport, and when you see him perform below a level he expects himself to be at, he thinks he's letting you down

The way you'd be ready to kick people in the shins for calling him short (yes this applies to coaches and scouts. Yui has had to hold you back a few times)

He'd definitely ask you to accompany him to the batting cages near your home

He loves sharing his passion with you, plus, he really likes being able to just talk and have fun conversations

Okumura Koushuu

When Mura was young he was super attached to his sister

He grew out of the more clingy little kid stereotype as he got older, but he still loves spending time with his sibling

As kids you would walk around your neighborhood doing normal kid stuff (ya know like . . . Playing in dirt oor sword fighting with sticks? Idk just kid things) and after playing around your mom would give you some money and let you walk to a corner shop down the road to buy ice cream

Playing in dirt and stick fights eventually lost their appeal, but you and Kou still go to that little store together

Usually it would be after games, so Taku would tag along and you were there to supervise them, but Kou still treasures the little trips

When he's home on break, he actually asks if you want to go on a walk and get snacks from the store (being away from you makes your relationship a bit awkward, so this is like a small ice breaker to fit back into your sibling dynamic)

Ok ok, so Mura is the baby in the family, but he's . . . Weirdly protective of you??

Like, if there's a sus person checking you out, he's giving death glares

Or if you happen to get cheated on or broken up with in a rude way, Kou is literally reaching for his bat and about to go talk to your ex and give them a smack down 😤

Besides Takuma, you're the only other person Koushuu can be really open with

He will pour his heart out to you because sometimes he just needs a pillar of support in his life and who better than his big sister?

Seto Takuma

Takuma is honestly a super fun brother

He's so chill and has a great sense of humor, so sibling shenanigans are at an all time high when you're together

Rip you parents because the two of you were a terror with pranks

Takuma absolutely had you help dye his hair red!

You guys did it when your mom wasn't home, so you were on a bit of a time crunch to bleach and dye his bangs red

In the process you might have gotten red hair dye all over the sink and stained the bathtub a bit, so your mom was upset about more than just Taku's hair . . .

But hey, at least he looked cool!

You're the only person he lets do touchups to the color now

I feel like Taku and you would always be exploring together

You guys are always hitting up new stores or boba places (and somehow you always end up paying for him, he's a tad bit spoiled by you, but he's a sweetie so he gets a pass)

Video games are life and death in your house

The both of you have no chill when playing against each other. You've definitely been banned from playing videos games a few times

Takuma is super caring

Even if he's the younger one out of the two of you, he somehow ends up being the person to comfort you and give advice

You do the same for him, so it's a give and take situation

Takuma is literally the best, what can I say?
