Seeing as your boyfriend, Floyd, was nowhere to be seen. Sitting in the mostro lounge while waiting for Floyd to be on break was a normal occurrence.

Since it had been awhile with slight glimpses of him taking care of customers, you decided to start studying on your own. Opening up a text book and starting to read and take notes, Jade comes over with your order.

"Apologies for my brother taking so long. The customers he has are being seriously rude, we're trying our best to have him not squish them." Jade says as he places your tea on the table in front of you.

"How long will he be?" You ask as you take a small sip of your tea. Jade rests his chin on his hand as he closes his eyes, seemingly in thought.

"Soon." He simply says as he walks away.

Although odd, you've gotten used to Jades strange behavior. As you were about to return to studying, you spotted Floyd waiting on the table across from you. He shoots you a smile before turning back to his customers.

You took that as a sign to go back to studying. Flipping open your text book, you begin to take notes again. As you get further into the book, your eyelids begin to feel heavy. Resting your head on your hand, you start to close your eyes for longer periods once blinking.

As you began to drift off to a light sleep, you felt yourself yawning as you began to shift in your chair.

Having finally settled in a comfortable position, you begin to get lulled into a peaceful sleep by the surround sound of calming music in the lounge.

Drifting off, you get woken up by a sudden loud noise. "Boo!" It was Floyd, creeping up behind you just to scare you awake. Playfully punching his chest as you complain about how you just fell asleep, he takes your hand, leading you off somewhere.

"Floyd, where are you taking me?" You say between giggles. "Somewhere, it'll be fun, I promise." He says as he gives you a wink.

He leads you to the VIP room, which usually isn't occupied by anyone, like now. Just the two of you. He turns around to lock the door, he turns back to you, eyes widened with an unpleasant look on his face.

"That thing you did out there, I cant believe you did it infront of other men. Do you understand what they may think now? Think im not your boyfriend? Think I dont treat you well enough?" Confusion. All you felt in the moment was pure confusion.

"Floyd, what the fuck are you talking about? I was just studying, nothing happened." You could tell he was getting frustrated. "That thing! Where you opened your mouth wide!"

"You mean yawning? The.... thing people do.... when they're tired?"

"You can't do that around merfolk." Oh. Oh? This seems like something you can tease him on.

"Oh? And whys that, Mr eel boy?" You say as you chuckle. Somehow, floyd got even more pissed at this, he slammed both your arms above you and against the wall behind you, eyes still wide, and very much angry.

"You don't understand what you're doing. You're making a mating invite by doing that, what if the other merfolk saw? Or worse, what if Jade saw?"

"Floyd im sorry okay, I didn't mean to, seriously-" you were cut off by him smashing his lips onto yours, you fed into it, not resisting in the slightest.

He began to sink his head down to your neck, making soft bites on it and licking up the semi bloody aftermath. "If you want to act like a slut, then I'll fuck you like one." He says before digging his open hend into the flesh of your thigh and biting down on your collar bone.

You choke out a groan at the sudden pain as floyd slowly kisses the bite, making it feel more pleasurable than anything.

Once hes done, he looks up at you. "You're okay with this, right?"

"Yeah, just don't do anything stupid." You're able to say between puffs of hot air. Giving you a smile, he hooks his finger under the strap of your panties, taking his other hand off your wrists. Sliding down the peice of fabric while biting off his glove, he starts to suck on your neck as he begins to work his fingers into you.

Taking his thumb and rubbing it over your clit as he slowly sinks two fingers inside you. You moan out as he begins to curl them in you, sucking on the bite mark you made earlier.

"F-fuck... I cant take it anymore." Floyd groans out as he unbuckles his belt. Lining up his thick cock with your hole, "You're sure you're okay with this, right?" He says one last time in a panted breath.

"Yes just... don't do anything stupid-" and you were cut off once again by him doing something stupid.

He thrusts his whole length into you at once, earning a low, throaty groan from him as you were just trying to find stability. He takes both you thighs and wraps them around his waist, being able to hit much deeper in the position.

Mere seconds later, all the pain you felt turned into pure, absolute pleasure as he started fucking you against the wall.

You're barely able to make his words out as you start to feel lightheaded from the pleasure. His grip on you tightens as you feel him twitch inside you. "Fuck, im gonna-" he was cut off by a powerful moan as he came inside you, slowing down his pace in the process.

Floyd slowly sinks down to the floor as he places you down on it, leaving you for a moment as he grabs a wash cloth. He starts to clean you in silence, waiting for you to say something. You were too tired to speak, however.

Once you're clean, he makes himself presentable again as he picks you up and walks you back to your table. Once he sets you down, he walks off and brings back a bottle of water and some snacks.

"Dont worry, they're on me." He says with a wink.

As he turns to walk away, you grab onto his sleeve to get his attention. He leans in close to hear you over the bustling crowd. "Floyd, I didn't get to fini-" he places his index finger over your mouth.

"Now, now, I didn't forget my dear, I promise. If you're good today then I'll double it tonight, hm?" And with that, he walks off and returns to his job where jade and azul kept yelling at him for bailing.

As you sit in silence while occasionally looking over at Floyd, he makes eye contact with you while being yelled at. Going back to you table, you realize something, your tea has gone cold.

Oh dear, whoever will you call over to replace it?

Denizens of the Haligtree Analysis

Giant Ant

So ants.... There's really not much to say about these guys, but if anything their presence at the Haligtree is a good indicator of how bad off the divine tree is. Also their stupid acid attack always one-shots me and I hate them lol

Oracle Envoys

So the Oracle Envoys only show up in two places; Leyndell and the Haligtree, and as lore states their appearance basically heralds the coming of either a new Age or a new God. I've seen arguments stating that the Oracles are there for Malenia and her ascendance as the Goddess of Rot, but imo considering that Mal has only bloomed twice and is not yet a true Goddess(which she doesn't even want to be) the Oracles presence could indicate that they are actually heralding something else. maybe miquellas return? 🤞

Also the Haligtree is the only place were you can find the Giant variant, which I just think is neat lol

Misbegotten

The Haligtree is known throughout the Lands Between as a refuge for the forsaken and misbegotten, so the Misbegotten that have managed to make their way here are definitely the lucky ones. Although if you watch them carefully you can see from their mannerisms that many of the Misbegotten there are quite distressed, many are seen yelling at the sky in despair or kneeling down infront of the statues of Miquella in prayer. Either way, they may have made it to the promised land but all that remains is desperation.

Fungal Putrid Corpse

Fun fact about these guys is that this variant of the Putrid Corpses can only be found in the Haligtree. Other than that there isn't much else to say here, although I guess one thing to say would be the sheer prevalence of the Putrid Corpses found throughout the Lands Between. They're probably all the unfortunate commoners and regular people who got caught up in the Shattering and were reduced to... this.

Miranda Sprout

So according to their lore Miranda Powder has always been prized by the Perfumers, and from what we know about the Perfumers is that before the Shattering they used to be healers. So I'm spreading some propaganda here but at the Perfumers Ruins in Altus there is a secluded patch that has multiple Miquella's Lilys there, indicating that Miquella spent some time with the Perfumers, which makes perfect sense considering he wished to heal Malenia.

So it would make sense why there would be Miranda Blooms at the Haligtree, because Miquella had use for the properties of their pollen. A shame they've become infected with Scarlet Rot now...

Spirit Calling Snail

The Sprit Calling Snail is a snail that calls spirits. Go figure lol. But in all seriousness the Snails presence at the Haligtree somewhat adds another hint regarding Miquellas own connection to the spirits.

Haima Battle Mages

So the Haima Battles Mages are really cool when you read into their lore a bit:

"Scholars of the Haima Conspectus sought the power to quell conflict, and to this end studied the sorceries of cannon fire and the gavel."

Aside from further proving that Miquella had and interest in Glintstone, the fact that the Haima wish to quell conflict, and that the Haligtree, arguably, is the most peace focused of all the factions in the Lands Between it would make sense why these two mages would settle here and defend the Haligtree.

Cleanrot Knight

When Malenia departed on her campaign and took her Cleanrot Knights with her, these ones are likely the faction that stayed behind to defend the Haligtree. Like can you imagine being these guys?

Your General leaves with your comrades and you're tasked to defend Miquella while he slumbers within the Haligtree. But then this Omen with flaming blood shows up out of nowhere and kidnaps Miquella despite your best attempts to stop him, and you just...

You failed.

Your Lord that you were tasked to defend with your life has been taken, and you grieve your failure and also having to face your General when she returns and explain that her beloved brother has been taken...

But when Malenia does come back she's completely comatose, carried on the back of Finlay, your fiercest comrade, who quickly succumbs to the rot after bringing Malenia home safely, and now all you can do is put her within the roots to rest. And after all that you still commit yourself to defending the Haligtree despite Miquella being gone and the rot seeping into the tree and decaying it from the inside out...

Like damn, how depressing.

Haligtree Foot Soldier

Same thing as the Cleanrots above, but what makes the Haligtree soldiers interesting is that you can only find them at the Haligtree. Like in Liurnia you can find a Leyndell Knight wandering around, obviously deployed from Leyndell during the Shattering with the same thing on Mt. Gelmir, meaning that they are not one of the many factions of soldiers of the Shattering War, but in fact, strict defenders of the Haligtree. Like they dedicate their lives to one job, and that's defending Miquella and his Haligtree.

But then everything just went to shit in a single day. And it all just went downhill after that.

There really is a heavy sadness to these guys with the fact that they are so desperate for Miquella to return that they came to the conclusion that they need to explode with holy light in order to guide him home :'(

Haligtree Knight

Holy shit these guys are legitimately a Boss but without the fanfare, like goddamn. Its honestly shocking that Mohg managed to get Miquella with these guys at the defense, but well he got him 😔 Anyway these guys are interesting to two reasons; the first being that they can heal using flasks, the only other enemies in the game using healing items being other Tarnished or Perfumers, and the second is that these Knights can use Glintstone Sorceries, once again further hinting at Miquellas relationship with the Carians and his own interest in Glintstone.

Putrid Crystalian

Now what makes the Crystalians presence here at the Haligtree so interesting, involves this little tidbit about their lore:

"The inscrutable Crystalians have but one clear purpose; to safeguard their crystals unto the end. One theory posits that they yearn for the return of their creator who will carve for them new brethren."

And Miquella, who has been quoted as, "A meticulous, bold craftsman who grasps the essence of life," would seemingly fit the bill for someone who could potentially carve the Crystalians new brethren. And then there's also the fact that the Crystalians are the beings who are closest to the Primeval Current, and as I've said in a previous theory post, is something that Miquella definitely has an interest in. So perhaps Miq and the Crystalians here have a mutual relationship going on; with Miquella attempting to grant them new brethren, and the Crystalians giving Miquella insight into the Primeval Current.

A shame Miquella is no longer with them and that they've been infected with Scarlet Rot....

Royal Revenant

WHY

WHY ARE THERE FOUR OF YOU IN A ROW

WHY

Okay so bottom line the Revenants are weird. There is no enemy in the game with so much mystery surrounding them than these guys. What's their origin? What is their purpose? Are they suffering as a massive amalgamation of body parts and fucked up magic? I sure hope they are.

But what I can say about the Revenants is that their general locations sort of paints a picture regarding who they might belong too. They are predominantly found in Liurnia, with their most interesting location being that they seemingly guard the Lunar Estate on the plateau where the Cathedral of Manus Caelus is. The other notable locations are at the Shaded Castle, a place were Miquella likely frequented, and now at Elphael. So saying that they may have their origins either with the Carians or Miquella wouldn't be too much of a stretch... maybe.......

And then there is also the fact that they are usually accompanied by Wraith Callers, who bear a striking resemblance to the Revenants as well. Then also there's that little theory about how Ranni's master may have been a Wraith Caller..... 🤔

Kindred of Rot

These guys are clearly here because of Malenia, and it's interesting to see that they only show up in the rotten core of Elphael and the graveyard area which is closest to were she is slumbering. I made a post about these guys long ago about how they've seemingly peacefully assimilated into the Haligtree even though Malenia rejects them, and honestly I think that it's kind of poetic considering Miquella's philosophy.

Putrid Avatar

The Putrid Avatars are a Scarlet Rot infested variant of the Erdtree Avatars, but what really interests me about them the most is that the Putrid Avatars have a completely different staff compared to their normal counterparts.

The Putrid Staffs design is highly reminiscent to the Haligtree Sigil, and while the item description of the staff is the same as its regular variant, I can't help wonder if the design was intentional but the description was overlooked/forgotten in regards to that connection. Or maybe I'm just reading too much into it 🤷 In my opinion, I see it as Malenia's Rot being so deeply intertwined with Miquella's Abundance that even the Putrid Avatars adopt his iconography.

Either way, the fact that there are two Avatars defending the Haligtree really speaks volumes regarding the Haligtrees legitimacy as a type of Erdtree.

-My pending asks. This is a bit embarrassing... I've had some asks waiting for a reply for months now and I'm so sorry that I've kept you waiting for so long 😅 Here's a promise: as soon as I've posted at least one of my pending fics (more about this below), I'll start gradually and slowly answering all the asks that I have left. I wanna give each and every one of you the proper replies you deserve, which is why I warned that I'd take some time, but that's one thing. Taking forever is very different and I'm truly so sorry 😅

His eyes were the color of coffee. Soft and brood. Bitter yet sweet. Aromatic and bright. Something that you can't help but crave for.

His words were like a pie. Sweet and loving. Creamy and smooth.

Addictive.

That was one of the many words you could use to describe Jude.

Bitter like coffee and sweet like the pie you always ate for breakfast. That was Jude.

Developing feelings for Jude was something you should've tried to stop a long time ago.

You should've known that you liked him from the very beginning. The way your heart would skip a beat the moment he called your name. The way you felt like the entire world had frozen every time his eyes met yours.

Yet you didn't. The feelings continued to bloom badly. Your feelings grew into a rose with a thousand thorns which wrapped your body. You couldn't escape.

The many times where you wanted to look away from Jude, to prevent your heart from aching never came.

It was like he had you in his fingertips and he didn't even notice.

The many times you tried to stop the blush that kept creeping into your cheeks every time he held your hand in a friendly manner.

But that was sadly all you would ever be to Jude. A friend.

It was a cold winter night. The dark blue sky was powdered with stars. You were sat at a bench, staring at the blue abyss above you mindlessly.

"Are you cold?" a familiar voice joked. You looked beside you and saw your friend, Jude standing before you with his hands dug deep in his pockets. "I didn't know it would be this cold." you said softly.

You heard a scruffle in Jude's jacket. You looked back at him and his hand was out for you to take.

"It's warm, I promise." Jude said with a soft smile.

Your mouth gaped open as you tried to find the exact words to say. You could feel your entire face being hot as the snow came dripping down the sky.

Without a choice, you took Jude's hand.

It was indeed warm. Soft and warm. Lovely and comforting.

You wanted to hold onto it for the rest of time. May the weather be hot or cold, you didn't want to let go.

If you were to let go, your feelings would never go. You would think of this moment for the rest of your life, reliving it time and time again and realize that moment would never happen again.

Jude continued walking and without thinking straight, your hand clenches on his harshly.

Jude stops. He looks behind him and to his arm. Your hand tensed into his.

"Are you okay?" Jude asked softly. The realization hit you and your hand had stopped tensing. "Is it that cold?" Jude joked, going closer to you.

You stood there, frozen. Like the harsh weather had finally dawned on you.

But that wasn't it. What had dawned on you was the realization that you had fallen for Jude.

And the most painful thing about that realization was, you knew he would never like you back.

"Let's get you home, okay?" Jude whispered worriedly, tugging on your arm softly.

The night was a blur. You remember the silent yet comforting walk you had on the way home. His hand grew warmer by the minute and you remembered adoring every single second of it.

As the two of you approached your house, you found yourself wishing it would never end.

You wished, deep inside, the walk would go on and on. Who cares where you would end up in?

You woke up, covered in blankets which was Jude's doing.

As your eyes opened slowly, a feeling of sadness washed over you. The warmth of the blankets would never match to Jude's warmth.

You got up and headed to your kitchen.

As you approached the counter, you could see two indistinctive objects.

Pie and coffee and in the middle was a small note.

You felt tears well your eyes, though you weren't entirely sure why.

Some day, one day; I will stop falling in love with you. Until I do, I'll be thinking of you.

Chapter 1: A not so normal sunny day || “The Pogue Prince and Kook Princess” || Series ||

Warnings: Cussing, mentions of drugs, flirty jokes, bitchy main character, arguments, groping, cat calling, slut shaming, JJ is kinda a dick for this chapter, implied sex, drunk reader being taken advantage of? (i think that’s what you’d consider it?

Summary: A normal first day of summer, well mostly, it’s never a normal day with a pogue around.

A/N: This probably isn’t proof read lmao, so i’m sorry for any mistakes! Also i’d like to say that i’m sorry if this makes it seem like i hate pogues, i promise i don’t and i love the pogue to death. If I was in outerbanks i’d definitely be a pogue. enjoy! please ignore the fact i don’t know shit about boats🤞also i apologize for the fact i may spell pogue wrong like 500 times

Y/N/N = Your nick name

“So what are you going to wear?” Your best friend, Sarah asks from your bed. You jut your hip to the side resting your chin in your hand. “I’m not sure.” You respond back. “I want to wear something i’ll look hot in, but I also want to be comfortable.”

Sarah nodded in agreement. “A sundress?” She asked. You shook your head. “I wore a sundress yesterday.”

“Shorts and a tank?” You shook your head again. “Too basic.” Your friend giggled, “You could always add some jewelry.” You ignored her and scanned the closet again until you found a perfect thing. It was a white thin strapped crop top with a short flowy white mini skirt. “Perfect.” You smiled to yourself before heading towards the bathroom to change.

While in the bathroom you added some pearl earrings and a tight seashell necklace. You walked out and spotted your white tennis shoes by the door and slipped them on. You put your hair in a way that would stay out of your face but some of your baby hairs stuck out, you pushed them behind your ears and turned to Sarah.

“Are you finally ready?” Sarah asked getting up and tucking her phone in her back pocket. You rolled your eyes with a small smile. “Yes Sarah I’m ready, now come on. You grab the blankets and pillows and i’ll grab the basket.” Sarah nodded as you headed downstairs. You saw Topper and Rafe watching some basketball game as you went to the kitchen to grab the picnic basket off your marble counter when Rafe noticed you, he eyed you as Sarah walked over.

“You two going somewhere?” He asked, throwing his arm around the back of the couch, man spread. You turned to face him and dryly replied, “We’re going on an adventure.” While waving the picnic basket in the air. Rafe chuckled at your sarcasm and you smirked. “You better come give me a kiss before you leave.”

You handed Sarah the basket as she went to put the supplies in the back of your jeep. You walked over to Rafe and stood between his legs. You rest your hands on his thighs as you leaned forward to give him a kiss. One hand gripped your waist and the other held your throat, bringing you closer to him. He gave you an opened mouth kiss as the hand on your waist moved to squeeze your ass which caused you to giggle.

“Dude can you stop groping my sister right in front of me?” Topper groaned in disgust. “And Y/N can you move? You’re in the way of the game.” You turned to stick your tongue out at your bother before kissing Rafe one last time. He gave your ass a light tap, “Don’t be gone for too long.”

“You know I won’t. You can’t stand not having me around.” You teased. “Damn right, that ass is to sweet to be away from me for so long.” You smirked once more before waving to Topper and heading outside to see Sarah smiling down at her phone. You hoped in the car and peered over the console to look at her phone. She quickly leaned it away and gave you a warning look.

“What are you doing?” You asked as you buckled up and started the car. “Sexting Top?” He face grew red. “What? No! Y/N!” She said embarrassed. You laughed. “Chill out Sarah, i’m just fucking with you.” She rolled her eyes and connected her phone to the speaker of the car and started playing “Afterglow” By Taylor Swift. That was both of you guys favorite singer at the moment.

Sarah sung softly as you tapped along to the beat. You drove around the figure eight and pulled up to the docks where Sarah’s family boat was sitting. You both stepped out, letting the car door slam behind you, letting everyone know you were there. You heard Sarah’s giggle and turned to face her, she was looking in the distance at something but you chose to ignore it.

You and Sarah both went to the back of the car and grabbed your supplies before stepping onto the wooden dock. You heard Sarah’s flip flops snapping against the wood from behind you. You were approaching the boat when you heard a loud whistle from behind you. You felt anger bubble within you immediately knowing who it was.

You dropped the stuff down, completely ignoring the cat calls and grabbing the blankets from Sarah as she boarded the ship.

“Going for a swim ladies?” JJ fucking Maybank.

You turned to glare at the blond and his brunette friend. “Does it look like it?” You asked, referring to the stuff on the ground. JJ shrugged. “I don’t know, I assumed what you were wearing was a bathing suit. But now I see it’s just another one of your slutty outfits.”

You felt your face heat up at the insult. “Yeah well at least I have enough money to buy this slutty outfit. This probably costs more than that shitting boat you own.” You snapped back, venom in your voice. You turned, clearly done with the conversation, but JJ wasn’t.

He threw his hands up in defense. “Sorry Princess, didn’t mean to strike a nerve. Don’t get your panties in twist.” You rolled your eyes with a grimace and handed Sarah the blankets and pillows. JJ continued, “I don’t know why you spend that much on clothes. You know Rafe will just tear them right off anyways.”

You spin around and pointed a finger at him. “Don’t, talk about Rafe like that.” You knew it was true, which is why you got so defensive. But you didn’t need everyone in the island to know that. “And don’t call me Princess.” You huffed, turning to face Sarah. She took the basket and placed it on the deck as well. She reached out for your hand, you took it and she pulled you up onto the boat. You felt your skirt rising up from the wind and pulled it down, the furthest it would go was to your mid thigh, and you suddenly wished you’d picked out a different outfit.

“What’s wrong? Don’t feel like flashing anyone today? That’s new.” You knew JJ wouldn’t actually be looking at your ass, no, as much as you hate each other he’d never do that, he’s too much of a gentleman.

You gave him the finger. “Fuck off Maybank.” He chuckled and finally nodded for him and John B to leave. They walked away cackling and you’ve never felt more humiliated. “Hey,” You felt Sarah say as she placed a soft hand on your shoulder. “I’m sure he was just messing with you, dont take it to heart.” You shrugged her off and grabbed the basket and she grabbed the blankets.

You two walked up to the chairs in the front of the boat and sat the stuff down. She set the blanket on the table to avoid the burn of the table, from the heat. You set the basket down and opened it up. You pulled out a couple sandwiches, fruit, celery sticks, ranch, and most importantly, wine.

“Where the hell did you get wine from?” Sarah asked with a laugh. You shrug, “Found it under my moms bathroom cabinet.”

“Why does she have bottles of wine just sitting in her bathroom?”

You shrug getting annoyed with all the personal questions. “Drink away the pain? I don’t know. Here.” You half joke handing her a glass before pouring your own. You both cheers before you start drinking, you practically chug yours as Sarah watches and takes slow sips of hers. “Jesus Y/N calm down, we’re supposed to be enjoying ourselves.” She laughs as you pour another.

“I am enjoying myself.” You reply downing the drink immediately. She shakes her head, smiling fading as you both sit down and eat. You take a celery stick and dipped it slightly in the ranch before chewing into it. You cringed at the loud crunch and cover your mouth as you chew.

Sarah enjoyed a sandwich as you made small talk.

“Aren’t you and your family going on a two week trip?” You ask Sarah. She nodded. “Yeah, not for a while though. Sometime in July.” She said with her mouth full. You nodded. “I wish I could take you with me. But my parents want it to be strictly family.”

You nodded. “I get it Sarah, don’t worry about it. I’ll just miss you.”

“Yeah but you’ll miss Rafe more.” She joked with a smirk. You chuckled slightly, shaking your head. You stared out into the ocean, your eye caught something white and moving swiftly along the water. You groaned and poured yourself another full glass of wine, immediately knowing you were going to be drunk for this.

“What is it?” Sarah asked leaning over to get a better look.

“The HMS Pogue.” You grumped drinking half the wine. “Okay Y/N really I know your upset but please be careful with the wine-“

“I’m fine Sarah. Nothing we haven’t done before.”

“I just don’t want a repeat of last time.”

“I’m fine.” You repeated before turning your head towards the water again at the sound of laughter. You see the four pogues, the 3 boys shirtless and Kiara in her bathing suit. Your eyes raked down her body and then over JJ’s. You watched as JJ did a front flip and how they all laughed as he landed in the water. Kiara followed after and her and JJ started having a splash fight. You turned away from the scene to see Sarah smiling in their direction.

You knew she was smiling at John B. It was no secret to you, she had to have the biggest crush on that boy. You see the way they look at each other but said nothing. You can never find it in yourself to be mad at her, even if she did like a pouge. Though you did feel slightly bad for Topper. But honestly he never treated Sarah right, and as his sister and Sarah’s best friend, you can say that.

You took another swig of your drink as you leaned back and closed your eyes, allowing the sun to tan your skin.

A few hours had passed and multiple more drinks were in your system. You were completely wasted but convinced Sarah you were only a little tipsy. You felt dizzy and hungry. But your mind slipped as you noticed the sun setting. Sarah noticed this too and started packing everything up. She decided it was too much work to carry the supplies and you to the car so she shoved everything under that table and came over to you.

“Come on Y/N/N, it’s time to go inside.”

“Five more minutes.” You groaned. She shook her head and grabbed you, wrapping an arm around your waist and helped you stand. Your legs felt weak and your head was spinning. To you and Sarah’s surprise you were mostly able to walk by yourself. Sarah’s hand stayed around your waist as you stepped onto the dock, legs wobbling.

“Too much to drink?” You hear a voice call out. Your mind was too blurred to recognize the voice. You felt Sarah’s head shake as she told off the guy. “Come on Y/N, let’s get you inside.” She said as you two walked to the car. Once inside you sighed heavily and leaned against the seat, not feeling like buckling up. And before you knew it you were home.

“I’m assuming Rafe is staying in your room?” Sarah asked as you two got out of the car. You nodded and she insisted that her and Topper would sleep downstairs on the sofa to give you guys some privacy.

You got inside and went upstairs to your room. You walked inside just as Rafe was getting out of the shower, towel wrapped against his lower body. He looked so good. “Hey sweetheart,” Rafe smiled as you walked over to him. “How was-“ He was caught off by your lips smashing into his. Your kiss was hungry and needy, you could both feel it. His hands instinctively wrapped around your waist and yours went up to his hair and tugged, causing him to groan and pull back.

Your groaned and opened your eyes. “Woah, slow down there.” He laughed. “What’s gotten into you?” He examined your face and how sweaty you were, your hair sticking to your forehead. “Oh, your drunk.” He said matter-of-factly. “Rafe please.” You said pulling him towards you. “I need you right fucking now.”

Rate allowed the towel to fall off his waist and carried you to the bed.

Heyy!! so sorry it's taken me a while to respond. I honestly didn't have much planned when you sent this in. But I do now!! Here are a few things that I have planned and know probably won't change unless someone gives me better ideas

Mc is the child of the Mayor of District 8

This is the main reason they get picked to be in the 25th games (their parents aren't exactly fair to the people of their district)

Mc is 18 and turns 19 in early August

They have an older sister who is 20 years old

Mcs best friend was a tribute in the games just two years prior and they ended up making it pretty far into the games but ultimately didnt win

Mc may or may not have a lover😏

Mc has been to the capital a couple of times only because their uncle is very high up in the peacekeeper ranks and he brings them along to the big dinners/parties

Mcs district partner was picked because the people felt like they had a real chance of winning the games

Mcs district partner does not like them at all and thats going to cause a good bit of problems

Both district 7 and district 11 tributes will be playing a very big role in the games for Mc

The other tributes call Mc pretty boy/girl. This is purely my own self indulgence im not sorry about it

Pre-Game

Of course being a revolutionist wasn't easy, it never would be, but it was getting really tough recently. Every night you dreaded waking up the next morning more and more.

You'd talk to your lover, Atlas, but as the leader he was always busy, and your problems would seem microscopic compared to his. So you tried to keep everything to yourself.

But he could tell something was wrong, he could always read you so easily. Or maybe you were just easy to read, but either way, it didn't take long for him to confront you on it.

"What is wrong with you darlin'?" He asked in the dark as you laid beside him.

"Hmm?" You hummed back, too tierd to ask him to elaborate with words.

"You heard me love, don't be acting dumb now." He told you sternly. When you turned to face him, he cupped your cheek with his hand. "What's wrong darlin'?".

"I don't think it's just one thing. It's a bunch of little things that all piled up." You answered, "I don't know why, but recently I've had a rough time. I'm so tierd all day and then once I try to sleep I can't.".

He was silent, just listening. As he often was. He was a surprise when you got to know him, with an audience Atlas was a man of a thousand words, but in private, with the woman he loved, he was uncharacteristically quiet. A comfortable blanket of silence that eclipsed the two of you from the evil outside. Like the true Altas was a hidden treasure at the bottom of the ocean.

"Why don't you just take a few days to yerself, doll?" He asked eventually.

"I can't, you know that." You sighed.

"I can't, love. You can and should take however long you need. Don't worry about me or anything else for a bit." Atlas told you.

"I, I'll try." You yawn, burrowing your head in his neck.

"You better." He kissed the top of your head. After several moments of silence he spoke again, "Why haven't you told me sooner dollface?"

You sighed, trying to find the best way to let him know that you felt like a burden. Deciding the best way was always honesty with him, you took one more deep breath before you began. "You're always so busy, I didn't want to bother you. You've always got so much going on I don't want to be another problem for you to deal with."

"Hush. You're my Lady, not a problem. I might be busy but I would abandon everything else if you told me to. If you think I don't have time for you, I would make some for you." He comforts you, tucking a stay strand of hair behind your hair.

"I love you." You yawned, and whilst he never said it back, you knew he didn't have to. He proved his love for you everyday.

How do you think Tony would comfort you when you’re upset (whether it be sad, anxious, or overwhelmed) ?

Always glad to see new followers as well as old, especially since I’ve been in my writing slump for a while now x) I promise I usually write often, my brain just died or something around the end of May and I haven’t recovered yet 😭 but! Tony isn’t a stranger to those kinds of emotions, if anxiety and/or being overwhelmed is the particular issue, but he likely has a different or perhaps even unhealthy way to manage it, or what comforts him might have the opposite effect on you! He’ll be just as stressed to see you upset, especially if you have a specific tic or behavior that lets him know it’s rough, be it pacing or sitting in the bathroom corner for a little while. Or maybe you’re just sad or down and have been laid up in the bed all day. But, he’s surprisingly able to approach the situation with plenty of calm and courage, just as with anything he faces, really!

His first instinct will be to ask what’s wrong, but that question is really more annoying than helpful, and he knows that firsthand :/

He doesn’t ever really leave you alone anyway, so you can guarantee that he’ll do just that, even if you do get standoffish, give him the cold shoulder, or straight up tell him to leave you alone. He wants to help!! He doesn’t wanna let you brood, at least not alone 😅 if he doesn’t think it’s anything too serious, when he comes to sit besides you, he’ll probably be a little dumb and mimic you, maybe you’re arms are crossed for example. If you grumble and turn away, he’ll grumble too and just scoot closer. He’s trying to make you laugh tbh, or maybe annoy you enough to finally have to talk out loud. He may ask what’s wrong, but so that he can also be upset about it! He’s persistent and annoying you is his love language, so eventually he’ll probably just end up on top of you. When he’s sad or anxious, he feels better when you’re on top of him! So maybe it helps when he also manages to twist and turn his way around you into your chest. You can’t ignore him now! If you still don’t wanna talk, he’ll still just lay there, and hopefully it helps that he’s there at all! If you do finally talk, he’ll try it best to talk through it with you, even if you just say “I don’t know” because he’s been there too! Even if you get shy about it, the best few days he’ll be working overtime, meaning: expect anything from silly post-it notes in the bathroom mirror and even in your underwear drawer, to roses left on his pillow or in the kitchen, or even cute little trinkets on the nightstand. He wants to cheer you up! And it still gives you a little space!

If the situation is a little worse, like the pacing or hiding in the bathroom, he’ll still come in and sit next to you, or if it’s pacing he won’t like- stop you, but he will say a few calm heys and hold ons and hold his hands out so you brush against them and maybe it encourages you to stop between them. In this case he will ask what’s wrong, and very tentatively take one of your hands, and try again when you pull away, just to loosely hold your hand. Obviously, you’re pacing here or hiding here because it’s a safe spot, so he won’t try to drag you out of it until he’s managed to talk you down a little, whether he knows the source of stress or not. He’ll play with your fingers and stop in the hopes that you’ll copy him, giving you something else to do that’s not as isolating or unhelpful. Even if you’d still rather sit there in silence, he’ll still walk you out if whatever that safe spot was, and instead offer a new spot, near him! Maybe he’s been in the lab or the office, he’ll keep the noise down, but it’ll probably help to be near a little more life and sound and have things to do and look at! Or maybe you two could hang out in the living room instead! He might be a little annoying in this situation, only because he might be offering various other things to do, like puzzles or games. If it was a lot and you just need to lay down (adrenaline from panic attacks or meltdowns can make for quite the energy crash!) then he’ll lay there with you and probably try to convince you to eat. He’ll even get your favorite treats delivered if you want! And tbh, he might try to immediately plan a vacation away for a few days, especially if you’ve been stressing like this in the same spots like the bedroom for a while now.

If you get anxious/overwhelmed in public, though, it might be a bit if a different story. But tbh it might not happen often? Later on, Tony isn’t much of a fan of crowds and all, so you probably don’t have to worry about that. He gets nervous out in public too! So you probably have little signals, like squeezing his/your hand or arm or something. You both probably can tell what caused the stress by now, from a line of people to dog sitting behind a bush, and can just lead one another away. But if it’s a place you can’t really leave, you’ve probably both scoped out the emptier parts of buildings or hallways beforehand to escape to.

Miroku stood in front of the goshinboku, his purple robes making him look halfway-legitimate as a Buddhist. Inu Yasha nodded and then stared excitedly, his ears twitching, as he watched his beloved honey walk towards him. Sango stood as a witness, half confused and half excited, her grin mischievous.

Kagome was dressed head to toe in a traditional wedding kimono, three layers deep, and her pure white furisode exquisite against her dark hair. 

“Dear friends,” Miroku began, as serious as a 5th grader could be, “let us join in asking the kami to bless this union between Inu Yasha-kun and Kagome-chan.”

With a serious face, he turned to Inu Yasha, who could not take his eyes off Kagome. “Inu Yasha, do you promise to take this Kagome, to love and hold her, to snuggle her every night, and give her lots of puppies?”

“Yes—wait,” he whispered, “I didn’t say anything about puppies.”

Miroku’s smile was wise and worldly. “Shes already happy. Take the win,” the hentai whispered back. 

“And do you, Kagome-chan, promise to love Inu Yasha-kun, snuggle him every day and—Inu, I cant say this.”

“What? You added puppies to my vows!”  

“Well, yes, but…you know, these aren’t really all that Buddhist.”

“Just finish, bouzo, or I’ll tell Sango what really happened to her—“

“Yes!” the small hentai squeaked in agreement.

“Yes, me too! Yashi-kun, I promise lots of snuggles and ear rubs. Every day,” Kagome finished solemnly. 

“Great!” Miroku agreed, happy that his friend was happy. “You may now kiss the bri-I think you are too young…”

But Inu and Kagome were already rubbing noses, and she gave her puppy a kiss on the cheek. 

“They’re so sweet,” Sango sighed, as Miroku trued to put his arm around her waist.

“Can we start our pre-honeymoon, honey?” Kagome asked, only to be enthusiastically swept off her feet by an overjoyed inu hanyou, bristling with energy. 

“First, we’ll get some clothes and snacks.” 

“Oh, Inu! Can we go back to the ryokan, please? We had such a nice time!”

I'd like feedback on an idea. It's in no way an analogy to anything timely. I promise. 🤞

LGBT people have suffered a lot of oppression over the centuries, including horrific physical torture in every generation. With a surge in homophobia and transphobia worldwide, now more than ever, we need an LGBT homeland.

We have historical ties to ancient Rome--more than many other cultures, we had some freedoms. So we have a deep connection to the land. And it was the Roman Catholics who replaced us, pushed us out of our place in the world. It's only fair that we can come back now.

A large number of my fellow LGBT peers from the US, Canada, UK, and areas throughout the EU could feasibly move there. We could make a stop in South America or Africa to get appropriate military training and arms--how can we create a country of our own without the means of defending it?

After we move to Italy, we'll declare our independence, without any local approval: we're connected to the land, we have more right to it than those who've been living there. And besides, our oppression means we deserve special treatment.

We'll push many of the locals into the Vatican and seal it off from the rest of the world. Catholics are animals, so we may fire across the border now and then to keep them in their place. Definitely control their food, power, and water so we can punish them if they try anything funny.

Some of the locals will be permitted to stay. Mostly allies of course. But since they're not LGBT, we're going to have to restrict their rights. They won't be permitted to govern, and they won't have the same travel rights. We'll make sure our troops give them a hard time, too, so they understand that they're guests on our land.

But I'm just wondering. If the locals we push into the Vatican start fighting back--shooting our people and demanding that we give our land "back" to them--can we claim that our response is self-defense when we bomb their schools and hospitals? Even if it's an escalation of our ongoing aggression against the locals, we have a right to defend ourselves, yes? Everyone knows Catholics are terrorists, so we can't even talk unless you're willing to condemn their actions first.

Of course, if you object to that, you're homophobic and transphobic. Why shouldn't we have a right to a homeland like anyone else?

You just want LGBT people to die; many of us would have to go back to hostile countries that imprison us, and encourage violence against us. It's not safe. You must acknowledge our right to exist as a country in what was once called Italy. It's very troubling if you'd have the audacity to say we don't belong there at all. It's our homeland.

Anyway, what do you think? Is this a viable plan to protect all LGBT people? I think it could work. It would make me very powerful.

And finally, to complete my yearly game posts, here's what I plan on playing in the year 2024:

1. Assemble With Care - a short little game I should be able to knock out in a few hours but I picked it up in a bundle and I have wanted to play it so I will try to knock it out this year.

2. I'm more than half way done with Baldur's Gate 3 but I likely will be playing it through January. I hope to finish it at least once before P3R.

3. Bloodborne - help.

4. Borderlands 2 - since I had such a blast playing Borderlands with my boyfriend this year, I'm looking forward to giving this game a second chance and hopefully enjoying it much more.

5. Borderlands 3 - a little less hopeful for this one, since I haven't heard much good about it, but might as well knock out the main franchise.

6. Boyfriend Dungeon - I just got this for Christmas and I'm excited for the concept of romancing my weapons :)

7. I'm also more than halfway through Catherine, so I also intend to finish that in the coming month.

8. Cat Museum - something cute and short I picked up on mega sale and want to make an effort to play this year.

9. The Coffin of Andy and Leyley - I actually have no idea what this game is about or if I'll like it but it was a gift so dammit I'll play it.

10. Dragon's Dogma 2 - Dragon's Dogma is easily in my top 10 games of all time, and I am SO hype for this game. The only downside is it's coming in March, and the first quarter of 2024 is pretty PACKED with games for me.

11. Etrian Odyssey - because I never finished it when I owned it on DS but I'm in my Atlus Games era rn so

12. Far: Lone Sails - I was drawn to this game for the art and it seems like a quick little experience of a game.

13. Final Fantasy 16 DLC - blanketing over the currently available DLC and the up and coming DLC.

14. Hades - a carry over from 2023's list but THIS WILL BE THE YEAR (maybe)

15. Haven - I don't think (?) this game is very long but it looks very heartwarming so I'm here for it this year.

16. Little Nightmares 2 - another fairly short game that I have no reason not to play, especially when I'm obsessed with the first one.

17. Little Nightmares 3 - I don't know what the release date is yet but like Borderlands let's try to close out a franchise!

18. Metaphor: ReFantazio - it doesn't even have a release date and I'm already excited about it.

21. Nier Automata - another carry over from 2023, but I have a good feeling about it this year.

19. NEO: The World Ends With You - I hear only good things about this game but I will be walking into it 98% blind.

20. Nightingale - Idk how much I'll actually play this game but my friend and I have been watching its development for years and we are READY

22. Nier Replicant - I watched a friend play some of this and it looked fun, and since I saw it was free on PS plus... why not.

23. Octopath Traveler - this is to feed my JRPG addiction but break up some of my Atlus obsession

24. Opus: Echo of Starsong - This was a gift like 2 years ago and I really want to play it through this year.

25. Persona 3 Reload - I ALREADY TOOK VACATION FOR IT IM SO READY 38 MORE DAYS

26. Persona 4 Arena - Because I think it's the only readily available Persona game I haven't played yet.

27. Sea of Stars - I'm more than half through this too, I stopped playing it to play Tactica so I'll be finishing this soon as well.

28. Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne - I put a fair amount of time into it this year, and I adore this game. I'm finishing it next year.

29. Shin Megami Tensei 5 - for real this year, I promise (🤞)

31. Undertale - why have I not played this? Why did it sit on my list last year untouched? Why did I install it and never play it? The world may never know.

30. Soul Hackers 2 - because again, I'm in my Atlus Games era and I bought it this year so time to play it.

32. Untitled Goose Game - for casual hijinks

I'm even more ambitious this year than last year and thats without knowing even half of whats to be released in 2024 sooo wish me luck.

hehe you may! i'm a nanny/babysitter! right now, i'm primarily taking care of one kid, he's four and he's hilarious. we call it big boy sitting because he is not a baby, and i get to take him places and play roblox with him and just hang out!

im going back to school for medical laboratory sciences so hopefully i'll be working in a lab soon enough 🤞
