He didn't know what came up to him when he have the instinct to save you but he did eitherwise. You wanted to pay back your handsome savior but he only gave you a business card telling you, "If you want to pay me back, call me when you're not busy." He said with his monotone voice. It was hot tbh.

And that's how you ended up in the man's lap while he played a game on his large set of computer. Kissing you once he get to complete a level. He caress you plump thighs that rest on the side of his waist, "What do you want to have for dinner?" He asked before leaning back on his chair facing you.

You leaned in to give him a peck on the lips before smirking, "Is it okay if i have you for dinner, ken?" You asked innocently, he was used to your flirty anitics but he always complied to your requests.

He didn't say anything and man handled you there and then, with you desperately bouncing and grinding on his you know who.

After that quicky you ate real foods, you were numb that he set up the bed table for you to eat on the bed, he doesn't have a big appetite ─ unless you were the one he was eating ─ so he let you have the food all to yourself while you feed him once in a while or when he asked you to.

You were so glad you have him, you just knew he was the one God sent you as your savior. He gave you everything you wanted, you were even supported you through college until you graduated, you were si thankful for him you wanted to give him something in return, well, you gave him you, yourself since you don't have any money to pay him back. He was happy and contented with that though, you were all he needed.

Kenma snuggled closer to your side, his hands snaking around your waist while you two watched the new movie of 'Black Clover'. He rests his head on your shoulder clearly sleepy. You were glad that this man can get sleepy, he was suffering from insomnia and can't really sleep but you appeared, he can basically sleep anywhere with you by his side.

"Are you sleepy?" You asked your hand travelled on his head making it hard for him to stay up, he shook his head his nose tickling your neck. The childlike behavior made you chuckle, he wanted to stay up with you and finish the movie.

"Not.. yet" he tiredly breath out, you could feel him put all his weight on your side, his breathing was slowing down indicates that he already fell asleep with your hand on his hair, his face still burried on the crook of your neck.

"What a baby.."

You sigh before looking back at the tv, you wouldn't dare to move if you did he might not get to sleeo again, or force you to sleep with him. He reminds you of a cat, well he was basically a cat at this point.

Things weren’t going too well for you, there’s no way to hide that fact.

From whatever it was, your day was poisoned by unhappiness, and you didn’t know what to do to aid it.

Of course, you refused to let any of the other bulls in on how you were feeling. It was especially difficult to keep Asta from pestering you; the kid is very attentive.

“Show. Never tell.” Is what you would tell yourself, forcing the feelings back into a tiny box.

You tried so hard to keep your face up as you walked through the base, but most days it was impossible to get anything besides a hopeless frown.

When asked how you were, you shrugged it off, merely explaining that you just have a “resting sad face”

Many believed you, nodding with an “ohh” while walking away.

But Magna we’re not buying into any of your nonsense. The two would exchange worried glances at your excuses.

When the team slowly gathered together in the living room after dinner, you were not doing great whatsoever. Your mood was sour, and you were barely focused on anything.

“Hey, everything alright?” Asta asked as he sat next to you. “You didn’t eat at dinner, and usually you have a great appetite.”

You sighed with a broken smile, “To be honest I’m-“

“Oh my god, Asta, did you see what Yami had me doing today? I didn’t get a break once! I’m so tired of being his wheels all the time,” Finral whined as he plopped down next to the anti-magic user.

To your dismay, everyone gathered around their senior to listen to his tale of woe, leaving you behind and ignored again.

You stand up and retreat to your bedroom, leaving without a single word.

You didn’t have much time alone before there was a gentle knocking on your door. “(Y/N)? Can we come in?” It was Luck’s voice…?

You didn’t reply, instead burying your head into your pillow. You heard their bickering through the door.

“Looks like we’re doing this the hard way-“

“Magna no! They didn’t give us permission to come in-“

“And what if something happened to them?? Would you rather us stand out here and do nothing when-“

“You need to respect their wishes!”

“You can come in,” you say stoically, not moving from your previous position.

The door opens slowly, revealing the two bulls.

“Hey, careful doing that,” Magna quickly made his way over to your bed, turning your head toward them. “You’ll suffocate if you don’t leave room for air.”

“Whatever…” you murmur, eyes glazed over.

“(N/N),” Luck begins, “Are you okay?”

You sit upright to greet them “Yeah I’m-“

“No, like actually okay,” he interrupts, moving to sit next to you.

There’s a solemn silence…

“Hey, (N/N), tell us what’s going on, kid,” Magna hums as he brushes a few stray hairs out of your face, sitting on your other side.

They wait with baited breath for your reply, worry evident in their eyes.

“I’m not okay… and I don’t know what to do,” you finally confess in a sotto-voce tone.

Both put a supportive hand on your back or shoulder, listening carefully.

“Everything is falling apart… and I-I’m not sure what to do. I’m usually g-good at fixing things but…” you laugh a bit in pitifulness, “I can’t even fix myself.”

“You don’t have to fix yourself; that’s why we’re here,” the mowhawked mage mutters, squeezing your shoulder gingerly.

“But what if I can’t be fixed? What if I have to live like this every day?”

“Nothing lasts forever,” Luck’s sweet voice chimes. “Time won’t stop whenever you feel sad, it will keep moving and you’ll be forced to feel better.”

“It feels so hopeless… nobody cares…” you whisper

“That’s not-“ he attempts.

“It is true. The moment Fin complained, everyone turned to listen to him instead. I don’t feel heard or respected… I don’t-“ tears start to fill your eyes “I feel so alone.”

“Hey,” Magna’s low voice sounds, “You are far from alone…” he wipes a falling tear with his thumb. “You have people who love you and are willing to support you every step of the way.”

“Yeah!” A quiet cheer of approval left the lightning mage. “You know how much we love you, and we would do anything for you to feel like yourself again.”

The flame mage gets in front of you, locking your eyes. “Tell us anything that’s on your mind… what’s making you feel like less than you are? Anything is fair game, don’t be afraid.”

You look around at their concerned faces once more, and suddenly everything falls apart. Your shoulders heave up and down as your body is wracked with the sobs you’ve been keeping hidden.

As you wail loudly, the two instantly move in to hug you. Magna cradles your head against his chest while Luck hugs around your torso and lays his head on your lap.

The two wordlessly cling onto you as you spill your tale of woe. Many—having heard your pained cries— attempt to check in multiple times. Magna shooed them instantly, shooting a death glare to anyone who tried to enter.

When you finally finished, you slumped downward, resting in their loving embrace. “Thank you…”

“Anytime, kid… anytime.” Magna whispered as he pats your shoulder.

When no response was given from the Cherry berserker, the two of you look down to notice that he had fallen asleep on your lap.

And for the first time that day, you started laughing.

Tamaki was so fucking shocked and confused, this poor baby. Have you seen the owl house? Remember how Amity Blight blushes? Yeah, thats how he blushed. When he didn't respond, you just took it as a silent rejection. But before you could say anything, he nodded very stiffly and slowly.

Somehow you two are dating now.

Oh ho ho ho. You thought it was done? No.

Your mom wanted to meet your boyfriend. Mitsuki Bakugou, your mother.

So you asked Tamaki, and he was pretty hesitant at first. But he wanted to make you happy and proud of him, so he said yes.

Tamaki stayed next to you like you were the last thing on earth all through the dinner. Katsuki was glaring daggers at him from afar, but stayed quiet because...lets be honest. Your twin brother is kinda afraid of you.

Tamaki spoke when spoken too, and was very polite. He tried to keep his voice as steady as possible and even kept eye contact with your mom for about two minutes.

When the night ended, Tamaki was rewarded with kisses and cuddles.

Basically, you two are a version of Yuta Okkotsu and Maki Zen'in from Jujutsu Kaisen. I give this 9/10 you two are so silly.

If you've seen Bungo Stray Dogs, you know of Dazai Omasu. A very silly and suicidal guy. Yeah, you have his personality.

And EVERYONE knows Satoru Gojo, right? Its your lucky day because you have his looks!

Anyways.

Tamaki is super intimidated by you because you're obviously very popular and flirty and playful.

So one day you're kinda just walking around UA and you see Tamaki talking with Mirio. Since Tamaki is a super shy guy, you were like: yes, a new target.

You walked up to him and Mirio, talked for a bit with Mirio, than proceeded to flirt with Tamaki.

Tamaki was confused as hell. Why is this super hot and popular person talking to me? He thought.

Eventually, you left, but not before saying to Tamaki: "Don't bother calling me by my last name. After all, it'll be yours soon." You winked and walked away.

Yeah, Tamaki fainted.

You two eventually started dating when you got dared to kiss Tamaki. (Don't worry you asked permission first.)

Oh, people are flirting with you? Well, prepared to be ignored because your focus is all on Tamaki!

At one point, Tamaki got super sad when you kept making jokes about killing yourself. He cuddled with you and cried, begging for you not to leave him.

Please don't, he'll miss you a lot.

He feels the need to always be around you, not wanting to slip up and give you a chance at suicide by not being there.

I give this relationship a 10/10, very awesome.

Track 1 - Secret Energy that can attract Happiness

Please note that the novel contains some major spoilers in regards to Nagi's past that is revealed in L4mps main story before you read!

The dialogues do not actually state who is speaking, but I noted it anyways to make it easier to understand.

"Now, let us dive deep into the sea of memories…"

As if guided by the voice I hear from the podium, I close my eyes, and dive deep into the depths of my memories.

The earliest memory I have is that of my mother, the two of us having fun at a park.

The fresh and vibrant four-leaf clover.

The happy times, immediately followed by our separation at the laundromat.

The moment I learned that the scent of partings was the smell of fresh laundry.

'……'

I open my eyes.

'Why did you have to leave me behind…'

'I want to go back to that day, a day that should have been filled with happiness.'

In the corner of a special venue in mahorava, I look around and see the avatars all around me were in tears. I had already come to terms with what happened with my mother, so I didn't join them in their tears. But I could still understand their feelings very well.

If it were truly possible for me to return to that day, I would be willing to make any sacrifice. That's what it means to be 'sad'.

This was the orientation for beginners who want to join the "Society of Secret Energy to Attract Happiness". The gathering had around 30 members, and since everyone was in their anonymous avatars, there was no way to tell anyone's age nor gender.

The person talking at the podium was known as the Flower Princess, Master Hideko. She was the one responsible for leading this gathering. She had the avatar of an old woman in her sixties… but I had a feeling that's how she looks in real life as well.

Master Hideko looked around as everyone was crying, and with a solemn yet gentle expression on her face, she started speaking.

Hideko "Please, dry your tears. I am certain that you will all be able to return to those happy days once again. "Good fortune" is simply an energy that attracts happiness based on the principle of attunement wave function, in other words if you can access your "Secret Energy", you can-"

She was using a lot of technical terms, but it was very informative. I'm glad I attended.

After joining HAMA Tours, although I was late to the party, I started browsing videos on dazzle. Strangely enough, after a bit of searching, I found that my feed was full of videos that were related to luck.

One day, I asked Buchi-san about it while I was in the living room with him.

Nagi "Seeing all these videos on the topic of luck, I wonder if it's all the rage these days…"

He responded with-

Daniel "That's just the target algorithm doing it's job."

Nagi "Algo-huh?"

Daniel "I mean, it's because you keep watching those kinds of videos all the time- ah forget it. It's too much of a pain to explain."

Nagi "So what does it mean?"

Daniel "Yeah it's all the rage, but only in your phone."

-Is what he said.

I thought it was popular because it was effective, so I'd immediately applied to join the gathering.

I myself had a predisposition that made me attract bad luck proportional to the happiness that I receive. But rather than simply wanting to be happy for the sake of being happy, I wanted to be able to spread happiness through my flowers, which meant I had to be happy first.

Hideko "Say it together now, Secret Energy!!"

Master Hideko's voice grew louder. As if everyone was pulled by an invisible force, they all stood up together. I got up in a hurry as well.

"Secret Energy!"

"Secret Energy!!"

Before I knew it, everyone was chanting "Secret Energy" over and over while hugging the person next to them.

I see, this is the power of "Secret Energy".

Everyone was hugging the person next to them as if it was the most natural thing in the world to do.

In which case, the person next to me…

Black cat avatar "Secret Energy!"

When I looked over, a person with a black cat avatar was already waiting with their arms wide open.

Nagi "Secret Energy!"

That's why I returned the hug as well.

I don't think I've ever hugged anyone before, but now that I have, I could feel my heart being filled even in this virtual space.

I don't even know this person, and even if it's just through virtual avatars, this is not something that I'd experience normally. Is this one of the secrets to happiness?

As a matter of fact, the avatar in front of me seemed quite happy. There was something about it that made you feel a connection, beyond age, gender or even words.

Once again, Master Hideko's voice full of love washed over us.

Hideko "The next gathering will be for the intermediate level, so make sure you all do your assignments before you attend!"

Nagi "Phew… that was quite the passionate session."

I got a glimpse into ways of increasing happiness from a perspective that's different from mine. As I thought, it was good thing that I participated today.

Just as I was about to log out, I felt a tap on my shoulder-

Black cat avatar "Hello again! I just wanted to say, it was a really fulfilling time despite being a beginner's session."

It was the person with the black cat avatar.

Nagi "I agree. I'm looking forward to the next session."

Black cat avatar "Right!"

Since I felt like I shared in some happiness with this person, I couldn't help talk with them at that moment.

Apparently, he was a 35 year old male. Although I was one generation younger than him, he didn't mind at all and was very frank, all smiles.

Black cat avatar "I'm glad I got to meet someone I can get along with! Feel free to talk to me the next time you see me!"

BTR REWATCH MINI POST

Big Time Rush Season 1, Episode 15: “Big Time Sparks”

I'm not doing a full write-up of this episode on account of it's actually one of my least favorite ones. But I did still watch it, so here's a collection of some scattered thoughts I had.

• Lavender looks so nice on Logan! I feel like as the show goes on, he wears so much blue, gray, and black. Early series Logan is a little more laid back clothing-wise.

• Listen. I know the constant misunderstandings between Jo and Kendall are necessary to the plot. I get that. But from an in-universe standpoint, it's completely ridiculous that neither he nor Jordin attempt to explain what's actually going on. Kendall stands there holding Jordin in his arms for over 20 seconds, and all he can say is, "Jo, this isn't what it looks like." Meanwhile, Jordin just looks back and forth between Kendall and Jo. Um. Hello?? Just explain what happened! Show Jo the banana peel!

Same with the "girly, romantic picnic" mishap. Neither of them even TRY to explain. There are MULTIPLE WITNESSES who can vouch for Kendall's story of saving Jordin from a cat attack, but he just sits there like an absolute doofus and goes, "It's not what it looks like!"

Kendall doesn't have the brain cell in this episode, that's for sure. So, who does? It ain't Carlos or Logan. It 100% is not James. There is a braincell just floating around somewhere while four boys with empty heads run around.

• The guys tend to speak in unison a good deal in general, but it is through the roof in this episode! I feel like they speak half their dialogue together. Maybe I'll watch the episode again and count because it really is very noticeable.

• The sped-up music that plays when James is hurriedly searching for a four-leaf clover cracks me up. Someone get James some help; the boy is unraveling.

• Speaking of James, I can't stand his hair in season 1!!! Doesn't he have sort of naturally wavy hair? I remember seeing pictures of him from pre-btr, and there's a definite wave to it when it's longer.

okay, yeah, I just did some googling and

He does NOT have naturally straight hair. Why did they straighten it?? It just looks dry.

• Kelly and Gustavo are also braincell-less in this episode, which is interesting, since Kelly usually possesses it. Their skunk plotline is pretty funny, though. Gustavo using the fake puppet in the remote control car and delivering his line about the real skunk thinking "they're going to a dance club or to Makeout Point" always kills me.

• Also, "We catch stuff all the time in Minnesota." ???? Why, Kendall? What are you catching? Is it for fun, or are you frequently having to trap animals causing mischief?

• Every single one of them would be dead from falling into that well. RIP to all of Big Time Rush plus Jordin Sparks.

Necessary disclaimer above the cut: These are just my own personal opinions based on my personal tastes, perceptions, and feelings regarding the series, stories, and characters and their relationships. I genuinely have the utmost respect and absolutely no ill will towards anyone who has a different opinion than me. In fact, I have always said that one of the greatest things about fandom is that we can all experience and perceive these amazing stories and characters in very different ways but still love them. Even some of my dearest fandom friends enjoy different pairings than me or see our shared favorite characters in wildly different ways than I do. I personally find it very rewarding to have respectful conversations about our differences of opinion, and I hope that my opinions will also be respected. Also, I don't vibe with just mindless bashing things, so even though this is about to get very salty and a little snarky, I'll try to keep it respectful and all in good fun. I am not tagging anything and am hiding my thoughts under the cut so you all don't have to be subjected to my hot takes and "Salty Acacia," if you don't want.

MAJOR Spoilers for Demon Slayer below the cut. You've been warned.

7. Is there anything you used to like but can’t stand now?

ATTACK ON TITAN/SNK. My sister says I need a swear jar because I can just rant for hours about how I was just so personally, viscerally disappointed with how that series ended (made all the worse because I had several years of investment in it). As a disclaimer, I still like my favorite characters and the side story "No Regrets" will always be **Chef's Kiss** but yeah...you could not pay me to watch or read it ever again.

But again, disclaimer, that's just me. It's my cousin's favorite anime of all time, and he loved the ending. Everyone's different.

As for anything else from fandoms I actually talk about...I'm not sure there is anything. Like everyone with an online presence, I have definitely been disturbed, appalled, and otherwise very upset by things I've seen on the internet, but that's what the block button is for (and I know it's all peace, love, & good vibes around here, but I block aggressively, actively, and unapologetically when the situation warrants it). As a general rule though, I try not to let what other people think get to me and ruin the things I love, and in that way, I don't think I have ever had a situation where something was just completely 100% ruined for me by a terrible fic, toxic fandom, or anon hatred ect. ect. I have certainly distanced myself from certain pairings and certain fandoms because of that, but I wouldn't say any of them have ever reached the level of "I can't stand it now." If anything, I sometimes feel a little contrary and dig my heels in on that thing in a petty revenge, "Well in that case, I'll just like this more" kind of way, if that makes sense?

All of that said, I have no patience for nasty, toxic fandom environments, and I stay away from those even if it's a media I really like i.e. you mentioned MHA in one of your salty asks...I wrote my one platonic friendship fic and got the hell outta there (nothing bad happened to me but it just wasn't worth it to take any chances). But that doesn't mean I don't enjoy it in real life and sometimes talk about it with my sisters and irl friends. I just don't want to discuss it online. It's not worth the headache & drama.

I definitely get fandom fatigue sometimes where the aggressiveness and toxicity of the fans of a certain pairing or character I already don't like just intensifies my dislike for that thing. But that's really only ever happened with things I already don't like or don't have an opinion on at all, which I don't think that really fits the prompt here.

10. Most disliked arc? Why?

Fairy Tail: The anime-only Celestial Spirit Arc by a landslide. It was so boring and had so many pacing issues. I literally fell asleep during it and didn't even both going back. I'm also super bitter towards that arc because my sister got so bored during it that she quit the anime (right before getting the best arc Tartaros). I keep begging her to pick it up again and just skip the stupid Celestial Spirit Arc but she swears she is a completionist and would never be able to do it. So yeah. Can't stand that one! The only positive thing I could remotely say about it was that Levy on the game show was kind of entertaining, but overall the whole arc was kind of just like a boring bizarre dream I'd like to forget about.

For arcs that appeared in both the anime and manga, I really didn't like that flute arc (which a google search has informed me is actually called the "Eisenwald Arc"). I'm glad we got Gray and Erza introduced as characters, but the arc had a lot of pacing issues and just went on for way too way, imo. They could've wrapped things up a lot faster, also I just didn't get the whole "evil flute" thing--it was really random and kind of bizarre (also not the most well thought out plan in the world). I will say this arc gets more points than the Celestial Spirit Arc because my sister and I had so much fun making Kokushibo flute jokes.

Black Clover: Gotta go with the anime only arc here too because again, it was boring and didn't have a lot of bearing on the series as a whole. It also felt like a major let down after the high stakes of the Elf Arc. Honestly just not a fan of that one.

If I had to pick a manga arc...uh...I honestly don't know. Maybe the Sosshi village arc? But only because I thought it was better in the anime where they really took the time to flesh out Magna's backstory. It felt more rushed in the manga, but I don't dislike it as much as that anime only one.

If I can pick a character arc, freaking FINRAL'S!! Like what happened here?! It was so, so good...until it wasn't. I JUST CAN'T WITH THE AMOUNT OF REGRESSION. It makes me want to beat my head against the wall even more than he is! But I think this was about story arcs, not characters arc so I'll refrain from ranting here.

25. Would you change the ending of Demon Slayer?

This is kind of a complicated one. My sister and I were just talking about this because she feels there was too much character death, but I feel it was a justified and appropriate amount for the high stakes of the series (even if it was devastating). So for the sake of this discussion, let's assume that the author had a "character death quota" (or a set number of characters who were going to be killed off by the end of the series). If that was the case, I would have axed Uzui at the end of the Entertainment District Arc and saved Genya in the final arc.

If there was a believable/reasonable way that Muichiro could have gone into god-mode and defeated Kokushibo without dying, I would have saved him too, having Uzui take his "death slot." Then I would have saved Genya by having Sanemi die to protect him (which would have been a much more satisfying ending to his arc, in my opinion).

As sad as the other deaths were (*weeps about ObaMitsu*) Muichiro and Genya were children. While it's realistic for them to die, it's especially tragic, and if I got to rewrite the ending, I would prioritize saving them.

Though to be perfectly fair, I would have been much happier with the ending if Uzui had died in the Entertainment District Arc and any of our heroes who died in the final battle survived instead. I'll forever be salty that Uzui of all people somehow managed to survive to the end when so many others did not, especially since his arc had already wrapped up and him dying in the Entertainment District would have been a satisfying conclusion to his story whereas so many other characters who did get axed had storylines that felt unfinished (Genya especially).

Also, Himejima should have played the flute at Kokushibo causing him to lose his cool in the infinity castle so much faster. I'm really upset this didn't happen. (Kidding but I would’ve loved to see him just go completely unhinged over the flute. I make way too many Kokushibo flute jokes…)

It's springtime, and your boyfriend, Loke, invited you to have some fun outside Magnolia. You kinda hate the guy, since he's a flirtatious playboy, after all. You also got into trouble because of him, because of his other girlfriends. But you are Loke's first-ever girlfriend that he truly loves, and you love him back with all your heart. He promised himself that he would change, that he would never have a girlfriend other than you. And of course, he kept his promise. You are so happy that you changed the male. And now, the two of you will be having fun on this day.

You woke up by the sound of your alarm clock, stretching in your bed, you turned the alarm off. You sat up on your bed, looking around your room. "Today's the day Loke had invited me to enjoy Spring..." You mumbled to yourself, getting out of bed with a smile gracing your lips. You took a quick shower, slipped into your [f/c] dress, then tied your hair into [f/h].

"[Name]-chan~!" There goes your boyfriend. He is already in front of your house, fetching you for another grand date. "Coming!" You yelled back as you raced down the stairs and then put on your shoes. "Good morning Loke!" You greeted him when you opened the door. There he stood with a bouquet of flowers for you, he was wearing a black tuxedo in his spirit form. "For my lovely girlfriend," He gave you the bouquet which you accepted.

"Thanks, Loke!" You gave him a kiss on the cheeks. "Shall we go then?" He held his arm out, motioning you to take it. "Gladly" You entwined your hand in his arm. Loke decided to take you to a cafe shop since you hadn't eaten for breakfast yet.

The two of you sat outside the cafe, and a waiter went to your table to take your orders. "What do you want, [Name]-chan? It's my treat" Loke smiled at you. "I will have [f/drink] and [f/snack]" You told the waiter while reading the menu. The waiter wrote your order, bowed then left.

"What do you think about Spring, [Name]-chan?" The orange-haired asked you. "Well, it's kinda okay. I got to watch the cherry blossoms, look for a four-leaf clover, and feed the ducks at the pond" You replied, leaning on the table. "I see" Loke smiled again. "How about you?" You turned to him.

"Me?" Loke chuckled, and you nodded. "Every day is perfect for me when I get to see you" He stated, another one of his cheesy lines. "Oh, really?" You laughed. "Don't be like that, [Name]-chan. You're literally my life, after all" He lifted your chin to lock eyes with him, and you can't help but blush.

"Yeah right. Well, you are a celestial spirit and I am a human. You can't die while a human can" You retorted, looking away from his gaze. "If you die, I will come with you" He removed his hand as he said that. You looked at him in confusion, "You will what?"

"Just like I said, I will come with you" He repeated, adjusting his blue glasses. "Why would you do that?" You asked again. "Just like I told you earlier, you are literally my life. If you die, I die" He explained, lips forming into a smile. You just huffed, "If spirits can actually die"

Before Loke can argue back with you, your orders came that prevented him from saying anything. You enjoyed the first part of your spring break with Loke, just sitting outside the cafe while eating, chatting with your boyfriend, and watching the flowers bloom.

After your breakfast, the two of you went to the pond. "Why are we here again?" You asked him, walking your way towards a pond filled with ducks. "We're here to feed the ducks!" He beamed at you, eyes brimming with excitement and enthusiasm.

"Okay..." You sweat-dropped but smiled. The orange-haired gave you some corn and peas for the duck, then motioned you to kneel near the pond. You obeyed his orders and then started feeding the ducks. The two of you enjoyed the time, chatting and laughing while feeding the ducks.

After all the food was gone, Loke decided to take you to the park next. "And what are we going to do here?" You asked him, a smile on your face as you curiously wanted to know what was in his mind. "We're going to find a four-leaf clover" He snaked an arm on your waist, pulling you close. You blushed at his sudden actions, "W-what are you doing?! We're in public, don't do things like this!"

"Oh, come on [Name]-chan~ The park is a perfect place for couples like us~" He flirtatiously whispered in your ear, you could feel shivers running down your spine. "And the best part, the loser has to obey the winner's every command" He added. Now you're sweating.

"S-shut up! And just remove your arm from me and start whatever you just declared!" You flushed red while struggling to get out of his grip. He chuckled before releasing you, you sighed in relief and started to search for a four-leaf clover.

At the park, four-leaf clovers are hard to find, especially when there are a lot of people hanging around the place. And unluckily, Loke is the one who first found the lucky green leaf. "Damn that Lion" You hissed under your breath as you stood up from the ground, glaring at his happy face.

"Don't glare, [Name]-chan~ You're going to enjoy the remaining time you will have with me, after all" He walked to you with the small green leaf between his fingers. "Whatever" You rolled your eyes, arms crossed and face flushed red because of what he meant, and you understood what he meant.

"Let's go and watch the cherry blossoms next, shall we?" He suggested, extending his hand to you. "Well... I guess it doesn't seem so bad" You replied while placing your hand on top of his. He gave your hand a squeeze before leading you toward the center of Magnolia, where the large rainbow sakura trees are planted.

It's almost evening and the sakura leaves will become rainbow in color. Loke knew that you both love rainbow and sakura trees and since you hadn't seen those beautiful trees, he planned to take you to watch them glow. "There are a lot of people here" You commented while the two of you were making your way towards the front. "There will be a special event here soon, that's why there are plenty of people" Loke explained.

"I see. I don't usually go out of my house, so that's why I don't know what's happening in Magnolia that much" You looked down, flustered. "Don't worry about it, [Name]-chan. I will take you outside often so you enjoy here in Magnolia" Loke flashed you a smile, and you smiled back.

Once you and Loke were in front, you saw many large sakura. "Wow!" Your eyes widened in awe, Loke just smiled. "Let's wait and there is still a surprise coming right up," Loke told you, you nodded. After a while, when the skies darkened, the sakura's leaves slowly glowing rainbow.

"Amazing!" You breathed, awestruck at the scene before you. "I know, that's why I took you here" Loke snaked his arm around your waist, pulling you closer. At first, you flinched at the sudden contact, but then you relaxed then placed your head on his shoulder.

"Loke...?" You called, still watching the Sakura light up. "Hm...?" He hummed. "Thank you for this day," You said. "No problem. I'm happy to give everything to my girlfriend, after all," He replied. You gave him a quick peck on the lips before resuming your watch.

Aight so. Rook Hunt and Trey Clover are two characters from a phone game I've been into recently, Twisted Wonderland. Yes. The. The Disney one. Written and Drawn by Yana Toboso (the artist/writer behind Black Butler. No I'm not kidding.) HEAR ME OUT kjhsdjkgdf

It's one of those gacha/visual novel-like games that gets marketed as like a dating sim, but has some of the most. Un-romantic settings/characters I've EVER seen. As an aro/ace, I applaud this lmao. Also amazing character and story writing like what the heck.

Heartslabyul house! Based on: Mad Hatter, 3 of Clubs, King of Hearts, etc. Generally chill. You think he's the normal one, then he turns around and gives you an hour lecture on how to brush your teeth properly. Ok mom.

He also reminds me along of Ignis from Final Fantasy 15. He's. That type. But also not?? Still instant attachment that way LOL

Thing is he's VERY devoted to his childhood friend/Dorm leader, Riddle. But he will never admit this, not even to himself. (due to Trauma and also being totally completely normal. Uh-huh.)

SO IN WE BRING....ROOK HUNT (who is already on that slide HAHA)

Different house (it's a school setting, like Hogwarts but more Themed Houses based around. Different Disney villains) and SO. How do you explain Rook. Well he's based off the Huntsman from Snow White, mainly.

Gives these vibes. Incoming. Smiley. Will give affection. Somewhat of a threat.

Theater kid set loose. French. Loves beauty in all its forms. Drama, sparkles, has SO much love (platonic, I must preface, every time I use that, I mean in an unromantic manner) to give and is VERY vocal about it. Compliments you constantly and finds uplifting things to say even when you did horribly on something. You fell on your face? He will tell you you fell with magnificence or something idk he's just LIKE THIS ALL THE TIME, he means EVERY WORD TOO-

This dude will not lie. His eyes are too good, he is too perceptive. Oh also he hunts some students for sport, there's that little detail (HE NEVER HURTS ANYONE as far as I know he just. Watches. Love this lil weirdo. Some of his lines are "let's play tag!" and I'm like oh NO LMAO) so like I laugh at him but he's also MILDLY TERRIFYING AND CAPABLE LIKE DUDE-

Anyway, TREY you meet early since he's in the first house you deal with, Heartslabyul. But my first exposure to ROOK was through Trey's Lab Card story, which is honestly a fun time on its own. They are science club buddies!!

So right off the bat you have a very :D :D vs calm =w=;;; dynamic, which I love. But then we have....Trey, who denies how much he cares for people, for Riddle. Who shows care through his actions, baking, Due to Reasons, words of affirmation might murder him on the spot. And then we have Rook, who is a font of flowery warm appreciative words who loves and loves loudly, watching this like 👀 I see you. (incoming shots of Halloween Event part 2)

The guy calls him Chevalier des Roses to his face. Constantly. Rook has little nicknames for alot of people (most dorm leaders he calls "King of Roses" (Riddle), "King of Lions" (Leona) etc.) but he calls Trey a Knight. Of Roses. He's calling Trey Riddle's Knight. And it's very cute.

(Halloween event tossed them together and it was WONDERFUL)

But yeah Trey has his own reasons for shying away from the title. He's a baker's boy, he has no sword or armor or anything, also it's embarrassing as heck-

But Rook still sees how he treats people. He calls a knight for what it is. Rook himself ADORES his dorm Leader, Vil, and sees Trey trying to hide this same devotion and just goes "you are like me!!!" Trey: oh please no I could never-

Also they're SUCH. PARENTS.

It's just. A really good dynamic I'd LOVE to see more of, y'know? An understanding, somehow being understood by someone more than you know yourself. Rook is also weird as HECK sometimes (what do you mean you can see how Leona is yawning ALL THE WAY ACCROSS THE FEILD) and Trey nearby is. His friend. He's just like "I'm so sorry he's just like this" and it's VERY funny akjshdjksdhfs he may have to hold Rook back from blowing up the labs again, dude gets carried away.

Twisted Wonderland has some lovely character dynamics. Also no one is "normal", but Rook is just another level of w h a t.

It feels like alot of interactions were just "hm spin a wheel, see who we get, slap them together" and it WORKS. SOMEHOW. Platonic Rook Trey is just one I've become extremely fond of and it's a rarer one....

"That was not half an hour! It was twenty-nine minutes and fifty-eight seconds." Magna grumbled as he and Luck shoved each other through the main doors. Both looking out of breath and scruffier than usual.

Luck grinned, bouncing on Magnas shoulders. "Was not! It was half an hour! Three minutes longer than you lasted, Maggie."

Upon hearing their voices, Asta poked his head around the corner, pouting as he noticed their messy clothes. "HEY! Don't tell me you've been working out without me!"

Magna plopped down on the couch, rotating his shoulder in its socket as it ached. "Working out? Not really. We've just beeeeen, uuh, testing out each other's endurance-"

"Endurance training!? Without me?!"

"Well, no it's just-" The ex-punk wasn't sure, this was a sort of inside joke that he and Luck had been doing for ages now. Over Asta's shoulder, he spotted Luck giving him a nod as he grinned. He wanted to let Asta in on their little game, just for a laugh.

Magna's uneasy expression changed into a smug grin, as long as Luck didn't mind, he was down for getting Asta involved. "I don't know, little guy, it might be a bit too much for someone as inexperienced as you." He shrugged, watching Astas face twist into one of absolute disgust.

Luck chimed in with a grin. "What if we went easy on him the first time?"

"I bet I can take it! I'm tough! I'm strong! I've been working out every day of my life! Look at these guns! Look. At. Them!" The small wizard flexed his arms in an attempt to impress his friends, desperate to get in on the action.

Magna held up his hands in defeat. "Okaaaay, okay buddy. But you need to be prepared for a rough ride. And we won't be held responsible for whatever happens."

"You can't scare me! Let's do this! I'm pumped! YEEEEAH!" He was vibrating with excitement. Magna and Luck exchanged smirks, knowing exactly what was about to happen.

"Uh-huh, yeah, woohoo. First things first," Magna started, standing from the couch and stretching. "Lose the jacket and cloak. And hand over your belt-"

"Done!" Asta practically threw his clothing at Magna, standing like a pokemon sprite, all poised and ready to fight. "C'mon, c'mon!"

"Haha! He's so hyper!" Luck giggled.

"You're one to talk." Magna huffed, taking Asta's wrists and binding them together with his belt, earning a confused look from the short boy.

"What, uh, are you doing?" He asked, tugging slightly on the belt before yelping as Luck shoved him onto the couch.

"Not to worry! All part of the test." The electric blonde chuckled. "C'mon, arms up! Up!" Magna and Luck took their positions. Asta laid on the couch whilst Luck held his arms up, Magna sat on his waist.

"Alright, last chance kid. You sure you want to do this?" Magna smirked, cracking his knuckles, smirking at Luck.

"Yeah! Wait what are we do-IHIHIIII!" Asta's body suddenly spasmed as he felt the unmistakable feeling of fingers shaking into his tummy, instinctively yanking his arms down to defend himself. Magna tutted as Luck shook his head.

"Damn, not even a second. I thought he'd be tougher than you, Magna. Guess not." Asta pouted, looking at Magna as he shrugged.

"Doesn't look like it, oh well, maybe when he gets stronger we can-"

"No! No, I got it! I just wasn't expecting you to tickle me! Start again!" Asta puffed his chest, putting his arms back over his head, bracing himself for the ticklish onslaught.

"Alright," Magna chuckled, flexing his fingers over Asta's clothes stomach, the flesh trying to hide away from the digits as Asta sucked inward. "My longest time is twenty-nine minutes by the way." And with that, the attack started again, the white shirt Asta wore offered little to no defence as Magna scribbled and squeezed the puppy fat on his tummy.

"Pffff-! Ahahaha! Oho gahahad!" The ticklish wizard managed to resist the urge to defend himself this time, trying his best to leave his arms up in Luck's grip. "I-Ihihi! I got thihihis!" He beamed, his heels digging into the couch as he tensed.

"Oh yeah? What iiiiif we move on up a little?" Magna hummed, moving to pinch at Astas lower ribs, rubbing his thumbs in circular motions on the protruding bone. Asta's hips bucked, that spot surprisingly more sensitive than the other.

"AAAH! Ah! Geheheez!" He shook his head, twisting his torso back and forth.

Luck giggled at Asta's reaction. "Oh wowwie! He's so loud!" He said in a raised voice so he was heard over Asta's ridiculously loud cackling and yelling. Happy yelling. But loud, contagious yelling.

"He sure is. I wonder what noise he'll make if I do this! Coochie, coochie, coo, loud mouth." And so began the teasing as Magna shoved his hands up inside Asta's shirt, vibrating his fingers into the front of his ribs, just below his pecks. The noise that followed caused a flock of birds to scatter in the nearby trees outside. You'd think someone was being murdered.

"GYAAAAAAHAHAHAHAAAAA!" After completely emptying his lungs, Asta took in a sharp breath, laughter falling silent for a brief moment. Magna and Luck couldn't help but laugh with the boy and be amazed by how he was holding up. He did need to breathe though, Magna thought.

"I think we should stop for now, you're going to loose your voice kid-"

"NOHO! No! I-IYAHAHA! Icandothis!" Asta blurted out before falling into a bout of giggles. Magna shrugged, continuing the tickling tournament. He looked up, feeling the weight on the couch behind him shift, then smiled upon hearing the voice.

Vanessa's silk tone greeted them with a chuckle as she sat on the couch, crossing her legs and trapping Asta's ankles between her thighs. "Well, well, what are we doing in here?" She asked, already knowing exactly what they were up to. She had seen Luck and Magna do this to each other before. "Say, Asta, want me to help? A big strong wizard like you can surely take more than just Magna's training." She chuckled, playfully slipping Asta's boots off, all whilst he's still in hysterics.

"Gihive me your wohorst!" He blurted out, of course, he could take more than this! He's going to be the wizard King! With the okay given, Vanessa started slowly dragging her nice pointed nails up and down Asta's soles, making his little toes curl as he tensed his legs up.

"AHAHAAAA!"

"Ooh, I think he likes that." She smiled. Through all Asta's squirming, his headband had slipped over his eyes, deepening the tickly sensations as his other senses were heightened. A flurry of warmth filled his belly. His cheeks and nose a soft pink, along with the tips of his ears.

He was indeed holding up very well. Between Magna mercilessly switching between Asta's tummy and ribs and Vanessa now scratching on the paw-pad-like toes, surely he would break soon.

Some time passed when Asta finally felt at the end of his rope. His breath getting shallow and his throat became dry. "Okahay-! Ah-AHA! OKAHAY! I GIVE! STAHAP!" And instantly, the tickling stopped.

Luck untied Asta's wrists, Magna and Vanessa removed themselves from their Asta-shaped seats, allowing the tuckered-out boy to curl up on himself, still giggling like a loon. He slowly peeled his headband from over his eyes, smiling at his friends.

"That was impressive kiddo, lemme get you some water." Vanessa smiled, fetching a glass of cool H20 to rehydrate the shrivelled little man.

Asta graciously took the glass, sipping between giggles. "Hah..... ehehe.... H-How long..... Did I last?"

Magna petted his hair, sympathetically. "That was eighteen minutes and forty-four seconds. Not beating us this time but, hey! At least you got a score higher than zero." He chuckled, prodding Asta's cheek.

The boy sighed. "I need to get better! Let's go again! Right now!" He moved to lie down again when Vanessa stopped him. "I don't think so, kid. You're tired enough as is now. Maybe another day. Right?" She asked, looking at Magna who nodded in agreement. They didn't want to burn him out completely.

Asta nodded, he was pretty tired after all that. He'd have to think of a way to strengthen his core maybe. Work on being able to turn off his tickle receptors as well as his pain ones then the time needed. As he sat thinking of how to improve, he found himself starting to doze, leaning back into the couch cushions.

This new tool that could be used against him and needed to be dealt with. After a long nap that is.

You opened the door and saw your landlord, old Mrs Ripper and a tall young man behind her.

"Oh I'm sorry to disturb you, y/n sweetheart," she spoke slowly, "I just wanted to introduce you to my grandson, Jack."

The tall guy raised one hand lazily. "sup."

"Oh be more friendly will you, Jack." Mrs Ripper chided him lightly. She then turned her attention back to you, "He'll be taking up the other spare room temporarily for the time being, hope it wouldn't cause too much of an inconvenience to you sweetie."

Well what could you say? It wasn't like you had much of a choice unless you wanted to move out. Because obviously old Mrs Ripper wouldn't choose her grandson over you?

"Oh, nice to meet you Jack, I'm y/n." you stretched out your hand. Jack's hand was huge and it enveloped yours in a firm and warm handshake. There was a glint of mischief in his eyes and a smile that seemed almost sinister.

Later that night, you were headed for the showers after a long exhausting day of studying. The doors opened just as you were about to enter.

"Eeek!" you shrieked from the shock, only to see Jack with a towel wrapped around his waist, water droplets still rolling down his naked torso.

"oi. keep it down." Jack raised his brows, "never seen abs in your life?"

"tsk. I just forgot there's another person staying here, okay?" you went past him and into the toilet.

"Also," you called after him, "please lift up the toilet seat after you're done, thank you."

This brat is sure as hell annoying. Why does grandma like her so much? Jack thought to himself.

It was another long day of studying as you stretched your hands over your head.

"oi shorty," Jack stood at your door with something in his hand, "grandma told me to pass this to you."

You went over, "what is it?"

A cockroach was put in the palm of your hand. You screamed at the top of your lungs and throw the bug on the floor.

It was a toy plastic roach and Jack was howling with laughter that it was hard for him to breathe.

"Are you crazy??" you wanted to smack him so badly.

"Oh god you should have seen your face," he said while wiping away the tears from the corner of his eyes. "chill out dude, are you gonna study until your brain rots?"

With that, he picked up his cockroach and left the room, still laughing.

From that day onwards, it was as though you both were rivals, you both bickered over small little things like whose turn was it to watch the tv, and pulled pranks on one another a few times in a week.

Somehow, you always found it as an entertainment and a break from your studies and during your free time you always thought about Jack and had a smile on your face unknowingly.

Mrs Ripper always shook her head and smiled, "they both look cute together, don't they?" she told her pet cat, Aussie.

"Who puts alcohol in cake??" he ran into the kitchen to grab some water, making a ruckus in there.

"oh dear.. Jacky's allergic to alcohol.." old Mrs Ripper commented quietly.

Allergic to alcohol?? Who would have thought? Well, you didn't invite him to join your little high tea session anyway.

"is- is he ok..?" you still found yourself asking anyway.

"He should be fine.. I'm sure the alcohol content is very very little in this one."

Jack staggered out of the kitchen, his entire body flushed red now. He walked straight into his room without a word.

"I-I'm sorry." you told Mrs Ripper.

"Oh honey, you didn't know anyway.. This isn't your fault." Mrs Ripper patted your head with a smile. "I'll go get some allergy medicine for him." Mrs Ripper stood up and took her coat and left.

You crept to his room, he was lying down, his huge lean figure curled into a ball.

"Are you ok?" you asked.

"I'll be fine, just that my stomach's burning at the moment and I'll just trying not to scratch my entire body."

"Here." you put a warm cup of water and 2 pills on his side table.

"what's this? you gonna poison me now?" he joked.

"It's called Zyrtec, it's an allergy medicine my mom got me when she came over to visit the other time."

“Oh.” Jack looked at you quietly, a hint of blush on his cheeks as he took the medicine and said, "Thank you."

You left the rest of the meds on his side table and left.

That night, there was a knock on your door. It was Jack.

“Heya. I’m feeling better now,” he passed you your remaining Zyrtecs that you had left earlier on.

“Sorry.”

“Sorry”

You both said at the same time.

“Eh? What are you sorry for??” Jack asked

“Well, for making you sick..”

“You didn’t know I had an allergy.. so it wasn’t your fault. But well I’m sorry for saying mean things earlier. I was joking.”

“Oh no it’s fine!!”

You both stood there in an awkward silence, the heat in the room seemed to rise.

Your mind flashed to the day when you saw Jack and his abs and your face flushed red. You shook your head and quickly said some excuse and ushered Jack out of the room, closing the doors behind you.

This little brat is kinda cute. Jack thought to himself as he watched you blush. No wonder grandma likes her. Tsk, she can’t stop singing y/n’s praises.

Over the next few days Jack found himself noticing what you were doing way too often. He checked up on you secretly, watching whether you were overworking yourself.

He found himself paying attention to what you wore, thinking to himself that you looked cute in your little olive dress.

He even purposely bought more snacks and left them at home, since he noticed you liked to snack a lot.

As the days moved forward, Jack found himself reluctant to leave once his intern here was over.

One day, he decided to stop by a cafe to grab some cakes for grandma, and he bumped into you.

You didn’t notice he was there, so he just quietly waited for you to get your order.

“Em, there’s no alcohol in those cakes, are they?” You asked the server.

As he realised you were buying the cakes for him, Jack felt his heart instantly melting, and he felt like he was floating in the air.

“H-hey” the server asked you, “I’ve seen you here a lot, do you mind if we exchange numbers and make friends?”

Jack instantly felt like he fell from the skies to the ground straight. He looked at the server’s goofy face, and he never felt like punching someone in the face so badly.

“Oi.” He loomed behind you all of a sudden, death staring at the server in front of you, “why are you here?”

“Jack!” You jumped a little in surprise at the tall figure towering over you, “i was just getting some cakes for us to share with grandma…”

“Oh.. sorry I didn’t know you had a boyfriend..” the server awkwardly bowed.

“He’s not my- ”

“It’s fine. I get it. She’s cute.” Jack showed the server a palm as he took the cakes from your hands, “let’s go home.”

“What was that?” You asked the moment you got out.

“What? You wanted his number?” Jack raised a brow at you. “He’s hella short.”

“No I-” you flustered a little at his question, “he’s not THAT short, you’re just too tall.”

“Well, so I saved you back there, didn’t I? Since you didn’t want to exchange numbers with him.”

“But- why do you even care??”

It was Jack’s turn to get flustered for a moment “well I…”

“I just…” he found his tongue tied.

“Well, you should exchange your number with me instead!” He blurted out. “We stay under the same roof but I don’t have your contact, what if there’s an emergency at home??”

You blinked at him, noticing his ear tips reddening, making you blush even harder at how cute you realise he could be.

You both walked home in silence. Both thinking about each other, but neither spoke a word to each other.

When you reached the doorstep, Jack gave you his phone, “you haven’t given me your number.”

You took the phone, punched in your number, and pressed call. So you could get his number too.

“Here.” You returned the phone as you unlocked the door to the house and both of you went in awkwardly.

You invited Mrs Ripper for tea and cakes session again and the 3 of you sat at the table. Mrs Ripper talking about some gossip with her old friend.

You phone buzzed.

Jack: hey.

You: ??

Jack: I've seen you here a lot.. And I think you're cute. Do you think we can be friends?

You: What the Heck, Jack. Stop mimicking the guy at the cafe.

Jack: okay. so.. How about..

Jack: can we be more than friends?

You choked on your cake, the heat in your cheeks getting obvious.

"Are you okay, sweetie?" Mrs Ripper passed some tissues to you.

"Oh yes, I just choked a little," you gave a small smile to her.

Jack: cute blush. Can I ask you out on a date?

You kicked him from under the table and gave him a stare.

Darn, he shouldn't be careless-!

Trey prayed that he did not jinx himself up on this.

He tucked his arms in between his chest, worried etched across his expression as he rushed in his lab coat to his partner for the project in their class.

I'm starting to hate Alchemy lessons.

He shouldn't have volunteered to stay. Alas, it's the professor's request wasn't it? He mused to himself.

“Jade..?! Jade, can you hear me? Hey..?”

His hands rubbing the back of said victim of the unexpected explosion of his failed experiments with ease as if he were a glass about to break.

“Do you want me to take you to an infirmary?”

The moray eel wrinkled his face as he coughed out smoke. He looked dreadful and worn out.

“Trey-san.. I’m sorry to bother you.”

And he went into a fit of rattled pants, startling the green haired boy beside him who was in distress.

“...I’ll finish your assignments for you, don’t be upset about it, alright?” His golden eyes filled with guilt.

If Jade was dejected, he didn't say it as he begrudgingly followed him from behind.

What type of error did Jade brew in his cauldron?

The teacher lets them go as a result. And here they were pacing around at the corridor in haste.

I don't think that's an ordinary thing to say, Trey thought to himself as he was torn on how to respond.

“Did… I make you disconcerted? I-”

The blue haired second year stifled a snort at him.

“Man, why am I this bad at guessing games?”

Jade is striding alongside him and his anxiety dies down. How..? Dear Sevens, I am so confused.

“Yes, your scents are like flour, butter and icings.. Did you bake earlier before coming out of your dorm?”

“You hit the nail in the head because I was making some sweets for an upcoming birthday party.” Trey explained with a single motion to visualize his words.

“How envious. Your desserts are delightful.”

“You flatter me. But.. that’s my job.” Trey murmured albeit absentmindedly. “And I’m nothing special.”

“Oya? I must disagree. Since you are intriguing to me.” Those mismatched eyes meet his briefly.

“Your twin brother wouldn't say that.” Trey sighed. “I’m boring for many people, aren't I? I’m plain.”

“They are missing out then, Trey-san.” He flashed a comment as he held their hands together.

“Well, I’m unlike most humans on land, don't I?”

Jade raised his chin to emphasize what he spoke.

I don't understand you.

“Trey-san, are you uncomfortable with it? This?”

He was not familiar with physical interactions.

Are you toying with me, Jade Leech?

Trey watched back with a callous face.

He was rendered speechless as he felt black gloved fingers interlaced into his, the touch was.. like they were lovers. It was ironic, they weren't even dating.

Not that he can imagine that happening.

“Yeah, that's true.” Trey accepted with a grin. “I do feel this is a bit embarrassing for me. Haha, it's not.. breaching the rules or anything so don't dwell on it.”

Chapter 31: Closer to the Truth

Hi guys! Here’s chapter 31, we’re pretty close to the end hehe (we have 9 chapters left 😭!) finally all the pieces are starting to come together and the full details about what happened in Clover and Spade are almost completely revealed! Two days had passed since Hikari had gone to Alistar’s room, and she seemed to be getting a little better. She wasn’t fully recovered, and no one expected her to be, but she was taking baby steps in the right direction.

After William had talked to Neva and Yuno he seemed to be getting better as well, he wasn’t as quiet as he had been previously and even gave a small smile or two at a few of the kids. So far it seemed like everything was getting better, little by little.

But something was still bothering Yami.

When they had found Hikari and Alistar in the past they had also found Kya, the youngest daughter of the Grinberryalls, and something about her just seemed off to Yami. But at the time he just put it off to having just defeated Botis, and then losing Alistar to some unknown enemy.

But the more time he was around the little girl, the more suspicious he became.

He had kept this all to himself though, as the last time he suspected someone he ended up being wrong. So he didn’t want to make the same mistake twice and just kept them to himself for the time being.

“ Alright guys, the Wizard King called us for a Captain’s meeting. So it may be a while before we’re back, if you guys need us just use Wheels or Taxi Jr.” Yami stated as he, William, and Charlotte all stood next to Finral. The adults and their ‘children’ nodded and just before the Captain’s could walk through the portal, Neva, Yuno, and Asta stepped forward.

“ Captain Yami sir, can we talk to you for a second?” Asta asked hesitantly, Yami frowned a bit but nodded and the four went outside so they could speak privately away from the others.

“ What’s up?” Yami asked them, he watched as the three looked at each other for a moment before Neva spoke up.

“ It’s about Kya, there’s something…strange about her.” She started hesitantly, as Yami frowned at her Yuno continued.

“ It could just be because we don’t know her as well as the others, but something strange. She hardly speaks and interacts with the other kids, and she looked a little surprised to see all of us here.” Yuno said as he crossed his arms.

“ And I noticed something when she hugged Miku when she first arrived. Miku was happy and relieved at first, but it was like the minute she hugged her, something made her afraid.” Neva told the Black Bulls Captain softly.

“ I’ve been watching her Ki too, and there’s something really odd about it. I haven’t seen her Ki before so it could have always been this way, but it’s almost like there’s two different people.” Asta chimed in, Yami sighed and rubbed the back of his neck.

“ Damn, so you guys noticed it too?” Yami asked, Asta looked at his Captain wide eyed.

“ You know about this?!” He shouted, causing Neva and Yuno to glare at him, Yami rolled his eyes.

“ Yeah, I’ve noticed. I just don’t want to say anything until I have proof.” He muttered. “ I don’t feel like having a repeat of what happened with Pretty Boy, so I’m taking the cautious route this time.” He added, he noticed the sad look that went over all three of their faces.

“ Why don’t you guys tag along and go to the library in the Castle, maybe you guys can find out something about the devils that we encountered in the future.” Yami said, the three once again looked at each other. “ Listen, I know it’s a long shot, but who knows, maybe you three will be able to find something useful there.” He added, the three nodded and gave him a small salute before they walked back into the house.

Soon, Yami, Charlotte, William, Yuno, Neva, and Asta all left for their Captain’s meeting and for the library with Finral.

Hikari sighed as she looked around Alistar’s room, she had started cleaning up the mess she had made the other day, and tried to get it back to the way it looked before. But at the same time she tried to go through his papers to see if he made any headway before he passed.

Her parents had taken the voice recorder they found when they had gone to the future with them to go see the Wizard King, so sadly she wasn’t able to listen to it, but she knew Alistar. He left those flowers with that recorder for a reason, so now she was looking for that reason.

The papers yielded nothing. Nothing but theories at best. But she did notice a few things that stuck out to her.

“Multiple kingdoms taken over overnight. Where did it start? They had to build an army up before they could start taking over Spade, so where did they begin? Maybe in another kingdom, or even another continent? This job is too big for just one person, I suspect multiple devils are involved, maybe some that are just as powerful as the Dark Triad devils.”

She read the note over and over, he had been right as far as the multiple devils. But she, nor the others, had considered the devils starting off somewhere else before attacking Spade. She would have to bring this up with the others when they got back. Hikari picked up another note on his desk and looked at it.

“ If they are devils, how were they able to escape when our parents were wiping them out? How could they have stayed hidden for so long and no one noticed them slowly getting stronger? Maybe they have contracts with humans, if so, those humans have to be powerful. Maybe Royals?”

Hikari frowned, royals? That could explain how they were able to stay under the radar and get stronger for so long, but if so, which royals? Clover? Heart? Diamond? Or maybe even Spade? She continued reading down his notes.

“ What are the devil's powers? How are they able to take out so many people in such a short amount of time?”

Hikari nodded as she finished reading, the partial answer they had to that question was to Botis’s memory magic. But that couldn’t have been all, right? There had to be something else besides wiping their memories, that wouldn’t really make them violent would it? There was something they were all missing.

She set the notes down and looked across his desk again, she hadn’t dared to touch the books that sat there. Especially not the one his mother had left him. Her hands gently brushed over the faded gold letters, and she frowned. Maybe, just maybe this book would tell her what the flowers that Alistar left meant?

Hikari pulled the flowers out of her pocket, one was a buttercup, and the other she couldn’t quite tell. So she instantly flipped to the ‘B’ section of the book and flipped the pages until she found the Buttercup.

“ Buttercups mean ‘childishness’, alright, then what does this other flower mean?” She muttered before flipping through the book again, she went back and forth from A to Z, but she couldn’t quite find the flower.

“ Really Alistar? You couldn’t have picked a more common flower?” She sighed as she flipped through it a third time, but this time she paused as she stared at one photo.

“ ‘Aconite, also known as Wolf’s Bane, Queen of Poisons, etc., is a toxic plant usually found in the Northernmost part of Clover, and means Beware.’ Beware? Beware of what?” Hikari muttered, she looked at the two flowers for a few more minutes before her eyes widened.

“ Beware Childishness? Beware of the Child? Was he trying to tell us to beware of Kya?” Hikari softly whispered, that was the only thing that made sense, he was warning them to stay away from her!

That’s why he and Kya disappeared, why he knocked William out, because he knew Kya was the other devil! But none of them understood his message, not in time anyway. Hikari immediately walked towards and threw it open only for her heart to nearly stop in her chest.

On the other side of the door stood Kya, who smiled innocently at her.

“ Is everything okay?” Kya asked worriedly as she looked from Hikari to around her.

“ Y-Yeah everythings fine, I just need to go get some fresh air.” Hikari lied easily as she closed the door behind her, Kya nodded in understanding.

“ I understand your face is pretty pale, you should rest.” Kya said softly, Hikari nodded and walked past the ‘little girl’ before she stopped. “ Oh, I forgot to tell you. I’m sorry about what happened to your friend, I lost my dad to the same person, but we’ll find them and make them pay for it.” She added.

All the dark haired woman could do was nod in response, she quickly walked away from the girl, her fists clenched so tightly at her sides that her nails left impressions on her palms. She quickly walked to the common area, grabbed Ezio, and ordered him to take her to the Castle so she could find her parents.

The Captain’s meeting was awfully quiet for a while. Everyone didn’t quite know what to say to William, Charlotte, and Yami. Especially William since they had all heard about what happened with Alistar.

“ I,” Fuegoleon started hesitantly. “ I’m sorry about your son William.” The vermillion haired man could only imagine what William was going through, if he were to lose any of his future children, he would be a mess right now.

William just nodded his head in acknowledgement as Yami leaned forward onto the table.

“ Speaking of, your kid came over to our hideout the other day. You did that on purpose just to give me a heart attack didn’t you?” Yami asked, Fuegoleon blinked in surprise but shook his head.

“ No I didn’t, from what Leonidas and Cyraleona told me, the four of them are good friends. So when they heard that Alistar had passed, they wanted to see Hikari, but Cyra was away with her mother so only Leon could go.” Fuegoleon explained and Yami blinked.

“ There’s more of you?” He asked in surprise, Fuegoleon chuckled.

“ There’s three children to be exact.” He corrected, Yami let out a relieved sigh, thankfully those three didn’t come anywhere near him and his rag tag group. He didn’t know if his heart could take anymore.

“ Should we listen to the recording?” Julius asked softly after the Captains fell into silence again, the others nodded and as soon as he clicked it on a familiar voice floated through the air.

“ Is this thing working?” A much older Asta muttered. “ Hey Noelle! Are you sure this thing is on?!”

“ Yes! If the gem at the top is flashing, that means it’s recording! Geez.” A much older Noelle shouted back, they heard Asta chuckle before clearing his throat.

“ Anyway, I’m recording this just in case things don’t go as we planned with the darkness. So, if anyone from the past is listening, or if my girls are listening. Hi guys, I miss you and love you-.” Asta started but Noelle cut him off.

“ Get to the point Asta! We don’t have much time!” Noelle shouted, Asta sighed.

“ You’re right, sorry,” he said with a sheepish laugh before clearing his throat. “ Anyway, I’m not sure how much you guys know. But we first got notice of this ‘Darkness’ when we lost contact with Spade, when we sent scouts out to check it out we also lost contact with them, but they were able to send one message before we lost contact. They explained how it was deserted, and how it looked like the entire kingdom had been wiped out. But they also said when they did find people, they were afraid of them.” Asta took a breath before continuing.

“ The people were deathly afraid of the scouts, some would just run away, but others would attack blindly. No one had ever seen that before. They were able to catch one and when the scouts tried to ask them what happened, they couldn’t say a single word, it was like they had forgotten how to talk or something.” Asta muttered thoughtfully. “ All we can assume so far is one might have some form of memory magic, but the other? We can’t even begin to figure out what their magic is. Maybe they have a fear or nightmare like magic?” Suddenly Asta gasped.

“ Hey Noelle! Wouldn’t it be so cool if the other devil had a nightmare or fear magic?!” Asta shouted excitedly.

“ No it wouldn’t be cool Bakasta!” Noelle shouted. “ Now hurry up, we have to go!”

“ R-Right, sorry.” He muttered. “ Anyway, this is really the only information we have, you guys may already know this, you may not, but either way I hope it’s helpful. Now if this is us in the past listening I want to ask you guys for a small favor: Take care of our kids alright?” He asked before the recorder automatically shut off.

The Magic Knight Captains all looked at each other, for William, Julius, Yami, and Charlotte this wasn’t much new information. But for the other Captains it was.

“ You said Botis had memory magic correct?” Nozel asked. “ If that’s the case then we already know who to look for here in the past to keep the ‘darkness’ from ever happening.”

“ Yes, that's right. But we also need to find the other devil too, because we can’t be sure if we find Botis we’ll find them since we don’t know if they’ve always been together or if they happened to find each other at some point.” Charlotte answered. “ If we can get both devil’s names, and they happen to be seperated, then we can split everyone up into two teams. If they’re together then we’ll just need one team.”

“ But that’s the problem isn’t it?” Yami started with a sigh. “ We don’t know where to even begin-.” Yami wasn’t able to finish before Hikari burst through the doors.

“ I know where the second devil is, or at least the one from the future anyway!” Hikari shouted out of breath with Ezio trailing nervously behind her. She walked over to the table and slammed down Alistar’s notes and flowers.

“ Alistar left us a warning with the flowers, it said ‘Beware of the Child’ or that’s how I interpreted it. He was telling us to beware of Kya. She’s the second devil!” Hikari said as she opened Alistar’s book and pointed out the flowers, the Captain’s and Julius all looked, it was a smart and subtle way of warning them, it was just a shame they didn’t catch it in time.

“ And when Alistar knocked me out, Kya figured out that he knew and had to eliminate him from blowing her cover.” William said, Hikari nodded.

“ But that’s not all, Alistar was suspecting two from the beginning, and not just that, but he suspects they’re possibly contracted to Royals and that’s how they were able to escape and go undetected for so long.” Hikari finished, Yami, William, and Charlotte all stood.

“ Where’s Kya now?” Yami asked, and he looked at Ezio. “ Taxi jr. You go down to the library, Asta and his Golden Dawn friends are down there, bring them back with you. Your old mans gonna take us back to the temporary house.”

Ezio saluted with a nervous ‘Yes Captain Yami!’ before he ran out of the room towards the library, meanwhile Finral took Hikari, Yami, Charlotte, and William back to the house.

What greeted them was not a pretty sight.

The kids and adults were all either attacking each other, were hiding, or were curled up and once they saw that new people had arrived. They set their sights on them.

Apparently, I look unapproachable to strangers? I frown when I'm confused, giving people the impression that I'm judging them or that they did something wrong. I also have a resting bitch face? My classmate told me she thought I was gonna beat her up whenever I wasn't smiling.  

I daydream a lot, am really detached from reality and have gotten lost many times when going through a new building. I am also empathetic, and always try to help people cheer up. Mostly through talking to them alone, I'm not the cheery type. I just try to help them sort through their emotions.  

I am also sensitive and prone to emotional outbursts, the getting angry and crying sort. I can be a little self-centered in that area, where my emotional well-being comes first before others' comfort.  

My hobbies are reading, writing, and listening to music. My ideal date would probably be eating in a café while watching the sunset. Yeah...That sounds like a dream. ❤️

As for what I want in a SO... Someone who can tell when I'm upset, but will give me space to work through it (I don't like talking about how I feel). Someone intellectual, I suppose? I don't like the impulsive types like Ace. And I read a lot, so I'd like to be able to discuss things with them!

Emotional outbursts (mostly aggressive ones) are common with Riddle, so he isn’t too phased, but it also depends on why it happened and how you conduct yourself

He doesn’t really disassociate like you, but will make sure if you’re walking or something that you don’t run into a wall or take notes for you to copy down

Trey likes reading, although he mostly studies, but will gladly read anything you write and maybe give some tips or give suggestions on characters (actually gives good critique)

tbh he isn’t phased by you looking unapproachable, Riddle is was too, but Riddle isn’t too bad and has a reason, but Riddle acts unapproachable and you just look it so there’s a difference

He’s semi-glad you’re not too outgoing or erratic like Ace or Cater, there’s 2 too many of them running around and causing trouble so a break with you is nice!

Music

I tend to go with pop, alternative, rnb, and hip-hop music, but sometimes I also listen to loud music when I need to be distracted. Taylor Swift (I’m a proud swiftie!!), SZA, Ella Mai, Kehlani, Cigarettes After Sex, Yerin Baek, Reality Club, Ariana Grande, Avril Lavigne, Paramore, Jannabi, Big Naughty, Be'o, Ash Island, Chase Atlantic (+ new entry) and The Weeknd are among my favorite musicians. However, I do enjoy J-Pop and Jrnb on occasion, albeit infrequently.

Aside from the music genres and musicians mentioned above, I also enjoy K-Pop in general. Treasure and aespa are two of my favorites, with Sukhoon and Ningselle as my main. But don’t worry, I often listen to other K-Pop songs all the time! Especially some YG artists’ songs (psstt.. 🤫 I’m a YGA stan).

Movie/Series

This is funny to explain because I used to dislike movies, but recently I’ve spent a lot of time watching movies that I believe suit my tastes very well. So, basically I’m into Asian movies, particularly Japanese (ALL JAPANESE MOVIES ARE GOOD) and the majority of what I watch is Ghibli Movies.

Apart from movies, I occasionally watch series (if I have a lot of time), but boredom often haunts me every time I watch a series, so I can’t remember what series I’ve watched 😔 (but right now I’m gathering intentions to watch The Summer I Turned Pretty and Todome No Kiss, so please pray for me).

Anime, Manga & Manhwa

If you thought I was a normal person, you were mistaken because I am not 😩 It’s impossible for me to like Japanese movies without also enjoying anime and manga. Although I’m not as enthusiastic as I once was, I still enjoy watching anime (only if it fits to my taste). One Piece, Attack on Titan, Fruits Basket, My Hero Academia, One Punch Man, Death Note, Black Clover, Hunter x Hunter, Dororo, Banana Fish, Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen are some of my all-time favorite anime.

As for manga, I rarely read it and usually stick to anime sequels (if any). Some of the manga that I am currently (and have been reading) are One Punch Man, Tokyo Revengers, Spy x Family, Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, Haikyuu, and Oshi No Ko.

Apart from that, I also enjoy reading manhwas, though not as frequently (well, manhwas and webtoons are the same, right?) If so, then I’m not going to sit around without mentioning my favorite webtoon. Some of my favorite webtoons that I think are irreplaceable are Lookism, Wind Breaker, How to Fight, Dice, Wonderwall, The God of Highschool, Questism, Omniscient Reader and Denounce.

Books

I used to be someone who enjoys reading books (especially fiction) because I find it fascinating and sometimes I unconsciously enter into the story. But as I get older, I find that reading books is boring and makes me sleepy:( I tried to get excited about reading my book again by buying a book (which I thought would be fun), but I didn’t finish it because, yeah.... I think it’s boring, until I finally found some books that really suit my taste. The books that I think really suit my tastes are:

And Trump does not want the construction to start there and it's sitting on the monster for some reason so people think that he might have control over it and that it's all about this flagship and it's about Titan and he goes up there in his his Chancellor of the galactic sent it and they're not really figuring out how he's doing all this and people suspect that he might be controlling the aliens somehow so there's going to be a big fight over there can we hear it's about Harley-Davidson too that he owns that dealership and he wants people to stay out and everybody keeps going there tomorrow and the secret starts coming out and that's where the harvester is from and he jumps into the river tomorrow and we think it's afternoon after court decisions have been made and that he has to go back up for an arraignment and his career is over that's what he says and jumps into the river and highlights of nuclear subs are going out to try and stop the black s*** for some reason he did that and he's got some sort of tie with the alien somehow or the alien makes him do it which could be possible sure and Cloverfield was supposed to be from all over the place but she seems like she's from here, my husband thinks it's a different alien but it looks kind of very similar and those young ones falling off at all the time and her mantle can move out and you can see it moving and it is the same alien and she swims up there and feeds all the way up and mace with her husband there's also from the same area so there's some fighting going on there now yeah you notice the crown a giant one just above the e and estero on the map on channel 3 it's a white crown shave and it's a real crown shape and it looks like it would be on the head of a huge person. He's going to try and look at it again but that's what we think happens this is a gigantic and increases that comes out of Port Charlotte harbor and there it is it's a crown it's got three tips and we think it's a real crown probably gold or white gold and it's on the southern tip of Iona just above the just above a sterile right on the inside of the inland waterway you can see it on the map we're pretty sure that's an actual crown underground so you have to be a very big king it's probably 2 miles wide and a mile high maybe someone probably 100 miles high maybe or almost maybe I'm almost 100 maybe 80 it's not Dave size and the crown appears to be on one of cameras feet with inspire everything but to make a long story short that's where it comes from so people go down there to the dealership and they're fighting to own the dealership because they hear Harley sales are up. And right now we're sending out half of the Harleys I'm from the Midwest the second half and later on we're going to start delivering them from the upper Midwest because it's emptying and the areas where they're stored are being vacated but out of the second low there's a huge amount that's going to come to Florida they ordered a giant number they're the max and they're fighting over owning the shop and they found out about the creature as well it is a giant fight because they see that it is taking ships over and knows how to do that or it's being controlled I think it's being controlled cuz it acts like an animal in the movie

Well that's awesome I've never seen anything like that and there's a few other movies I think they're going concert with it but I don't know where the giant mate is yeah I think it's up there in the upper Midwest and there's a few scenes in a silent place and it comes down on these boats this boats that are crappy like you guys like one of a kind I guess gets you there and somehow the teeny guy mates with a big huge woman I think you become pretty big and becomes clover and she swims up and meets him and you don't see both of them but someone said there's two running around town and New York City and they do made and they make an army and they take the black ship just a few days and they're getting hit in the military said they go down and they're forced to. My husband says that the blood from half things like the hulk and Dracula it's nothing compared to the kraken which is a mega mutant even Godzilla fails by comparison and it probably is where they're getting this mutation and it occurs with them they might be mutating into things like clover and you do see it in War of the worlds that the guys look like the aliens from they look like the aliens from Independence Day 2 and Independence Day 1 looks like the same alien and those aliens look like they might have been produced from the it's not hormones it's spice from the kraken and that's fine would be present somewhere near Everglades City a little bit South maybe no but it's a long it's it's in there somewhere and my husband says it's different than the venom the venom is a poison that if you acclimate to over years or have an antidote to you can become very strong very quickly but that's different and very dangerous to handle he is talking about the female organ which extreme blood and you do an area north north east of Marco Island it's very red and a whole bunch of reddish area elsewhere it might be where her private parts are it's kind of up and underneath like in a squid but he says it looks a little high it does look a little high it's more like to the east what is this horizontal there's a few guesses I think that's how people might mutate into clover and its people you can see them changing in the movie they're chasing after the creature and they're the creatures

Now they're finally together on it and you can see it looks like blood and if you know how she's configured it's true it is up in there it's way up and sometimes it's coming out between the legs but it's a bit high I will have to admit but no it at times it's like a teepee under there and it goes way up it's very bizarre
