Phantom and Spoiler were talking at the end of the patrol while relaxing in the cave, waiting for some final instructions before retiring to their apartments for the day. Well, "chatting" is a bit inaccurate. It's more like Phantom expounding on the different types of stars while Spoiler listens and contributes questions here and there. Neither of them realized that their gazes had locked almost from the beginning of their conversation, reaching the point where Steph became lost in his gaze. With that, she saw the emptiness of space, a myriad of colors and shapes that made up the universe, and something else, a "something" that looked back at her. Before she could say or do anything, the being (Danny) placed his hand on her face, covering her eyes, and a soft voice called out to her, telling her it was still too soon for him to show her that side of himself. First, she should take him on a date so they could get to know each other. Hearing that, Spoiler snaps out of his stupor and watches as Phantom gives him a warm smile, seemingly wanting to say something, but then Batman calls after him, so he only manages to say, "We'll talk later." And so she watched him go off to talk to the badly timed Bat. In the end, Phantom left after talking about that special consultation Batman had asked him to do, but not before giving her a quick glance. Something that didn't go unnoticed by a couple of Bats.

a big lesson for me was learning that most things are not as fragile as I’d believed. missing a class, or turning in a bad assignment, won’t instantly destroy your professor’s opinion of you. accidentally saying something harsh won’t make your friend want to end the friendship. it takes work to repair these things - it takes effort and research and sometimes a sincere apology - but you can do that because they’re not irreparably broken. what you’ve worked to build, in academia and in relationships and in life, is stronger and more enduring that your mind may teach you to believe. don’t let imagined fragility lead you to giving up

FINALLY FINISHED THIS!! my own interpretation and additions to Sebastian's room in sdv ! Tried to keep anything in the image from the year 2010 or predated. i think theres a few give and takes but i really like the "older brother" early 2000s grunge aesthetic on another level and i thought who better fits it than him. I honestly think every leftist who talks about the "revolution" like Christians talk about the rapture needs to spend a year trying to organize their workplace.
