one thing about orpheus and eurydice is you guys are all like “i’m different i wouldnt turn to look at her” because you are all familiar with the story of orpheus and eurydice. but orpheus wasnt familiar with the story because he was in it lol.
my main advice for writing an enemies to lovers relationship is to resist the urge to make the characters' loathing and attraction mutually exclusive opposing forces. it's okay if they're getting weirdly into it and having Thoughts whilst also sincerely wanting to kill each other with hammers.
[ID: A four-panel comic of a faceless stick figure and its thoughts during Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. On Friday, the panel says "weekend time!". On Saturday, there are three stick figures and it says "i love spending time with you guys!" On Sunday, the stick figure is holding a striped cat to its face, with a heart floating above them. Here, the text reads "im happy i have you". On Monday, there is a close-up of the stick figure and the text reads, "i had a good weekend, not every day is going to be good but i cherish the ones that are." End ID]
literally my favorite aspect of sock opera is bill calmly but repeatedly failing to buckle his seatbelt. like its funny enough that Bill Cipher of all people is putting on a seatbelt but its so funny that he keeps fucking it up. but he's still just smiling like a dumbass the entire time
