Barty Crouch Jr — name & origins
In spite of what one might believe, Barty Crouch Jr did not really hate his name.
His relationship with his father, Bartemius Crouch Sr, had never been good in any capacity. He never was deluded into thinking his father loved him. During his formative years, at first he tried to get his father to at least like him, but he gave up on that around his eight birthday.
Bartemius Crouch Sr had never seen Barty as anything more than an extension of himself. A legacy, a heir, his flesh and blood.
From what Barty has heard from his mama’s stories, his father’s reaction to her pregnancy had been relatively pleased. The problems started after his birth — after it became clear children need care, love. He also knew about her insistency on taking care of him by herself, of becoming a stay-at-home mom had been home of her last acts of resistance, of protecting him from his father’s treatment. An offer she extended upon finding a few weeks old Barty, Imperioused not to cry and hungry after a few hours she slept through, hours in which his father was supposed to watch him.
An extension of himself, in perhaps his most glaring display of egoism Bartemius Crouch Sr gifted his own name to.
All of which should reasonably, given Barty’s character, result in him absolutely despising the name. That was not fully the case.
He wasn’t sure why that was. Maybe it was because there was always a disconnect between ‘Bartemius’ — the father, and ‘Barty’ — the son. Barty couldn’t stand to be referred by his full name; all of his friends were familiar with his plan to legally change it to the shortened version when he turns seventeen.
Maybe it related to the way his mama’s voice, soft and gentle, well known and bringing a sense of security he could never find anywhere else, called out for him. The moments in which she looked beautiful and happy, out of the house, out of the country when they visited her family, babcię i dziadka, where they called him ‘Bartek’ and they could walk down the streets of Poland, so different than London, the city where he grew up.
Wizarding Poland was a complete mess. With the muggle wars, Nazis and currently reigning Soviets with their communism, the Iron Curtain breaking Europe into two, the population was not having a great time. Wizards had it better than muggles — the government rules allowed for Portkeys to be more available, and many were able to protect themselves from the bombings using spells and wards. Nonetheless, it didn’t erase the poverty. Barty remembered the shock the first time when he walked into a store with mama, and there was nothing on the shelves.
Wizards in Poland lived much closer with the muggles, he came to realize. They had an equivalent of the Statue of Secrecy, obviously, but the circumstances brought them together, in contrast to the separated state England unknowingly lived in. Wizarding Poland could never be nearly as removed from Muggle Poland, because Polish people were trying to simply survive and preserve their identity through over a century of their country being erased from the maps and the country being divided between Germany, Russia and Austria.
Wizards adapted to survive. Pure bloods overcame their prejudice to keep their history. The fight for freedom wasn’t over, but Barty knew they would never return to Britain’s levels of separation.
(Both of the sides of his family were Light, but Bartemius Crouch Sr could never deign himself to think about muggles as equals. It was reflected in the way he talked about them. Never with outright discrimination, but instead perpetuating the stereotypes and disrespect towards them. )
Barty loved it. It was the home London never was, with the Ministry of Magic so close, with the house he grew up in always at the back of his mind whenever he was walking the streets. He was sad every time they had to go back.
Barty loved his name, too. Not Bartemius, not Crouch (Jr). But just ‘Barty’. ‘Bartek’. He might’ve liked having his mother’s last name, too, but now, there’s no sense in changing it.
(He’ll be taking his husband’s one, after all.)

Azya Zaavim
Funny little guy what more can I say! Ok, I can say a lot actually. He's 42 and lives in the capital of country Ajiadiali, which exists on an alternative Earth. He loves Sanrio and all things cute and pastel but because of his job he can't express himself too often. So, he's a politician currently (he used to be a popstar but then his band's frontman died)! He also unfortunately suffers from depression and anxiety which is probably not great with his current career. Oh, also he suffered a hemorrhagic stroke when he was 30 and still suffers from some complications of it. My plan for him was to have a webcomic (Tomorrow It Will Rain) about him but we will see how it turns out? For now it's mostly my world building project. Aside from that until the story happens he's doing fine. He got married to a man who was his best friend before they started dating a few years ago and they have two fat orange cats together. Tooth rooting fuff. But watch out.
Supersonics/ Policy Of Truth characters:
Yuurg O'kweensgeyt
Alien lost in a new big city. He basically comes from a mostly human colony, from a family that expected a lot from him. When his disability made it impossible for him to become a professional racer (or rather the physical fitness requirements) he ran away from them and tried living on a huge multiracial transit station where he befriended (or rather was befriended by) a famous local detective. And still became a racer because fuck yeah. He's kinda cranky and it takes him a lot of time to open up to people.
Javier Caliban
The detective! Very outgoing and friendly but sooner or later you will realize that you actually don't know anything about him! Does anyone? Does he?
Cherry Bomb
An alien rock star! Not much to say about her yet. There is some more musicians that I had in mind for that universe but who knows what will come out of it.
Savyir the Wizard
A personification of my #personal posts. Or just my tumblrsexymansona? I dunno. He's made of light and top of his head is a literal textpost.
Małgorzata Bzura
A magic spells student (engineering). Honestly I've made her when I was 14 and mostly forgot about her but she's revelant to me again. She lives in modern fantasy Poland and I like imagining her studying on my uni. I probably should draw her one day again. Her only backstory is that when she was a teen she wanted to conjure a spell on herself that would give her a permanent tattoo to look cool but messed it up (bc of not being a professional obv) and is now stuck with a Van Dyke type beard which can't be shaved off. She ended up actually liking it a lot tho. She's certain that girls love it (mixed results).
Savyir the Farmer
My main Stardew Farmer. Not the best person but he's doing his best. Dates Shane - not in a "I will fix him" way but in a "two guys who are just as bad" way. They might have some good impact on each other tho. We will see.
Gideon (the Farmer)
A guy from my second save, not much to say about him bc I only have 6 hours there.
Niemir Szumilas
(huge post about him anyway)

hellooo i wanna know more about you in your hp drs pleasee😔😔😔
tbh i kinda forgot about them, cuz i was so fixated on arcane.
i kinda don't know what to say lol.
as for my marauders dr, i haven't even scripted anything yet lol. but it's gonna be rewrite of my old dr. basically, in that new dr i'm rosalynn valaena darkwood, daughter of the current head of the darkwood wizarding family, marcus darkwood and camille darkwood (nee rosier).
both of my parents are half-french from their mothers's side. my mother is the daughter of an affair between gellert grindelwald and yvonne rosier. i haven't watched the fantastic beasts movies, so it may change after i watched them.
my mother attended hogwarts and was sorted into gryffindor. neglected by her parents busy fighting the global wizarding war and despised for her heritage, she fell under the wing of professor mcgonagall, and kinda became her honorary daughter later on. while at hogwarts she also met my dad and fell in love. after graduating hogwarts she married him and later on had me.
like i wrote in my marauders era bio, i'm a slytherin, like most of the people on my father's side of the family.
i'm an only child and it shows. i was raised in the main darkwood family manor surrounded by wealth. i'm generally talented in most hogwarts subjects, though my favorite ones are da, potions and herbology. herbology is especially an interest of mine.
my favorite color is green.
i haven't scripted any friends yet, but i'm defintely gonna include pandora and lily into my friendgroup.
aside from herbology, my hobbies include fencing, reading and drawing/painting.
as for my lightening era, i'm liliana wilczycka, remus's daugher (yeah, ik the bio says wilczyńska but i don't like the sound of that after all and am gonna change it. btw both surnames mean wolf-like cuz my sense of humor is broken.). my mother was a polish pureblood witch named izabela wilczycka. basically, remus, sirius and izabela were in a polyamourous relationship, with izabela and sirius being metamours.
my mother was killed by voldemort. i escaped by somehow apparating myself to safety. after that happened and after sirius was imprisoned, remus moved with me to cracow, poland. there i spent the rest of my childhood before receiving my hogwarts letter.
in that dr i haven't been sorted yet.
my hobbies in that dr are similar to my marauders dr.

Roundup #2
Blah Blah:
It's almost Christmas and we're on vacation. Mostly just chilling, listening to music, and hanging out. DD is gonna bake cookies. Can't argue with that.
-
Muzak:
High Command - Ripshit thrash from Worcester MA with more than a slight whiff of crusty metalpunk ala Broken Bones/ English Dogs.
-
Dimmu Borgir - Unpopular opinion: I don't hate Dimmu Borgir. Granted, they're not my favorite band in the world, but in the right mood they scratch a very particular insane/ dramatic/ theatrical/ orchestral itch.
-
The Offering - These guys are about as close as I've ever heard to anyone sounding like a cross between Candiria, the late great Nevermore, and a kinda/ sorta spiritual successor to Strapping Young Lad and I'm extremely into it.
-
The Dillinger Escape Plan - I was never all that into the Dillinger Escape Plan when I was a kid, but then I wound up listening to a song off one of their later albums the other day and after like 20 years I think they finally "clicked."
Equal parts technical, catchy, and destructive. Like Mr. Bungle, Human Remains, and Mahavishnu Orchestra teaming up to play grind.
-
Discordance Axis - I haven't owned a physical copy of Jouhou in almost 20 years so I was stoked to pick up the reissue.
-
Meshuggah - For some reason I didn't care for the "Violent Sleep of Reason" when it came out and I hadn't really listened to it at all over the past 7 years (Christ, has it really been that long?), but then I picked up the CD a couple weeks ago and I can't for the life of me figure out what my problem with it was. Sounds exactly like you'd expect from them.
-
Core - 1995 Brazil sounding not unlike 00's Poland with the futuristic disso-tech grind ala Third Degree/ Nyia/ Anitgama. One of my favorite albums of all time.
-
I6 - Been a huge 16 fan for what feels like forever and while this newest one isn't my favorite thing they've ever done it's still really fucking good. Brutal stoner sludge with hardcore-ish overtones..
-
Impure Wilhelmina - A Couple former members of Vancouver, Vuvyr, and Knut doing the gloomy/ gothy post metal thing. Sounds kinda like Katatonia with heavier guitars and sharper teeth.
I've gotta admit I'm not super familiar with their older stuff but the past two albums on Season of Mist have been absolutely breathtaking.
-
Video Games:
Tunic - Man, I'm really digging this game so far. Total Legend of Zelda vibes... Shit, I hate say this, but Tunic might even pack a more potent Legend of Zelda punch than Link's Awakening (which I honestly found slightly disappointing).
-
Xenoblade Chronicles - Its weird, I don't love this game but I really do like it. Plot is decent, world looks fucking beautiful, I care about the characters and their development, and I'm enjoying it enough that I'm 99% sure I'll probably play the rest of the series. I just kinda feel like the combat is a little fucking wonky.
-
Virtua Fighter 5
-
Reading:
A Wizard Of Earthsea - I hate how much I have to twist my own arm to force myself to read, but I am really enjoying this book. Almost done. Will probably read the rest of the series 'cos I think Ged is a cool character and I care what happens to him.
-
Tube:
Godzilla vs. Space Godzilla
Godzilla vs. Destoroyah
Neil Breen: Twisted Pair

The Owl House x Slavic Mythology, Part 2 (this one will be longer)
Okay, so in this post I will tell you about few things. First of all you need to know something: slavic mythology is hard to uncover. It is not so easy to find true informations about this like about Greek, Roman or Norse mythology. A lot of Slavic beliefs were twisted by christian propaganda (like in last post I told you about Domovoy bringing good luck to you house -> with a time christians started to tell a story about mean house demon Domovoy and that all the good things he did were actually done by Angels, ugh). It is also twisted by patriarchy that with time didn't want people to believe in some powerful female demons or goddesses.
Slavic mythology for sure was kinda like Boiling Isles: most of demons and nature wants to kill you in some strange ways, but there were also some good demons, good characters and good gods/goddesses. And when you search for some informations you need to remember this. I'm writing it here because one of characters in this post suffers from her story being twisted by christians and men. And you can also see influence of patriarchy in first part.
But lets start the main stuff:
1. Witches and Wizards
Oh, yes, first thing you can think of is a second episode of first season "Witches before Wizards" AND I LOVE IT. Why? Because it destroys traditional look on the witches and wizards, of course! But from the beginning.
In slavic beliefs witches were women who signed a pact with the devil and gained from it magic powers. They used it to turn other people lives into hell by hexes and all that stuff. It was hard to recognise them, but people say that normally woman drinks a glass of vodka (or apple blood!) on three times while witches do it in one sip! Also, if you look deep in their eyes you will see head of a goat. But it could be any women in yours surrounding: single one, old one, married, young... You couldn't trust any woman!
And that is the misogynistic view on witches. The truth is that witches were a wise women who helped other. They often were herbalists and healers in their villages. But people didn't understand how they did their "elixirs", they only knew they worked, so the ones that were jealous about their knowledge create this story about "terrible and scary witches".
At the same time there were Wizards. They were the ones that people looked up to. And it's all because Wizards used their magic for a science and not hexing people! Like, you know... The only thing women can do is to be mean to other people and only think about how to make others lives worse, while man think about more important stuff. But, fortunately, wizards had also some bad traits, like being too ambitious.
So when Luz goes to Boiling Isles it appears that it is full of witches. Not only women witches, but also men. And this is kind of amazing because we finally abandon this archetype of only women being witches. At the same time (in second episode) we can hear King saying:
"Wizards are only old people with glitter in their pockets"
Oh, how I love this! Why? Because there always been a discourse in the topic of magic. When magic was used from science (by wizards or by alchemists) it was good, but when it was coming from nature (used by witches or folks) it was satanic and scary. But here? Here everything is opposite. We know now, thanks to Lilith, that magic in Boiling Isles is highly bonded to the nature and it is used from it. That's why everyone there is called witch, regardless of gender.
Why it is so important for me that witches are cool on Boiling Isles and wizards are only having glitter in their pockets? It's because at the same time that witches were burned on piles in Poland (1600s), you could go on Cracovian Academy (now Jagiellonian University) and get education in being Wizard or Alchemist.
So yeah, this episode just destroyed the archetype of good and wise wizards against bad and wild witches which should happen more often. But until Tolkien's books will still be "best fantasy" I doubt we will se more of breaking this stupid rule (and also sexism in fantasy).
Also, fun fact, in this episode we see Radegast in clothes with stars:
Tumblr media
and also we hear that he was "looking at the stars" when Luz came. I know that wizards are usually depicted with some star-theme, but he really reminds me of the legend of Pan Twardowski, the most powerful wizard in Polish (some says he was a German actually) history. He signed the pact with the Devil to gain his power but run away from him to the other side of the moon, were some says, he still lives. He also probably was a real person (Jan Twardowski) who worked on Zygmunt August's court as magician and astrologist, sometime between 1530 - 1570, while as I said, witches were burned on piles.
But let's move to the second thing!
2. Eda, The Baba Yaga
Oh, yes! You've seen this coming. And also it was greatly showed in this amazing post, which you have to read! But I will put in my tuppence here.
First of all, who was Baba Yaga? You heard about her for sure, but probably all of this were lies. Surly, she was the most powerful known witch. She could do almost anything with her magic and she also could brew any potion. As you probably know she lived in the house on chicken legs deep in the forest.
As for her look she was small, old with a big nose and a lot of wrinkles:
Tumblr media
She doesn't look nice, does she? Isn't that strange that the most powerful witch in our beliefs has to be so "ugly" (ugh, I hate this word but I have to use it here I think)? The truth is that probably she never looked like this. Historians thinks that at the beginning she was one of the most important goddesses in Slavic Mythology. She was in control of life and death, she was the personification of nature and its power. Some people also believe that she was the one responsible for children initiation to adult life. One of the historians, Zygmunt Krzak, said:
"This is about the reviled figure of the ancient goddess, a characterisation created by religious and secular male elites fighting against matriarchal religion."
So now we can see how Eda works as alternative Baba Yaga from Boiling Isles.
First of all, she IS the most powerful witch on the Boiling Isles. She lives deep in the forest and she is great at brewing potions. Everyone is scared of her but at the same time, if someone is in trouble, she will totally help. Also, in episode one of season two we can see how she actually care about animals (and probably all nature).
But, most importantly, she is against Emperor's rules. As I said in subsection 1, being a witch is all about taking your power from nature. And actually what Emperor is doing is fighting with this, just like christianity when it started to appear on slavic lands. Emperor forbids to use wild magic, he tries to cut witches away from nature. He makes them join covens that can control their magic so they are becoming more and more distant from the natural magic. And Eda is this one person on whole Boiling Isles that is against it and that's why Emperor's Coven tries to change her image so people would think of her as a scary and wild witch which should meet her punishment for being that close to nature.
Another thing that reminds me of Baba Yaga is, of course, how she took care of Luz and helped her to became the witch. This is how initiation of children looks like. Yes, Eda did this in her own way but if not for her, Luz would never went do Hexside and problady wouldn't ever found out about glyphs. So yes, Eda was that one witch who helped Luz, the child (or "her kid") to become real witch, and that is probably what real Baba Yaga was doing.
Also...
Tumblr media
Yes, I don't have to comment that, you know what I'm showing to you. But I just want to remind you that Kikimores hate chicken so it naturally goes that Kikimora is on the opposite side to Eda, The Baba Yaga.
The last thing I want to add is that Belos clearly do the same thing to witches on Boiling Isles that christians did to slavic folks (and yes, a lot more cultures in the world but here I'm focusing on Slavs). That is why I am almost sure that he is a human, probably Philippe, because this is just what people of middle and west Europe always did to different cultures -> "Veni, Vidi, Vici" as Julius Cesar said.

Geralt & Yennefer & The Fandom
I knew it was going to happen the moment the Witcher went ‘mainstream’. It partially happened already when The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt came out and the fandom suddenly became huge and popular, outside of Poland and other Central and Eastern European countries. But back to the point.
Since the Netflix show came out, I’ve seen several (ok, actually quite a lot) people (mostly new fans) complaining about Yennefer, Yennefer’s arc, and - the worst - how she is ‘getting in the way’ of a potential romance of Geralt & Jaskier because she dares to be Geralt’s love interest.
Look, I am all for “ship and let ship” policy, there’s nothing wrong with being a fan of a relationship that is not canon. I understand that there is a severe lack of representation of canon m/m relationships and that people would love too see more of it in the mainstream media.
But in this particular case and in this particular story...some Things Need To Be Said.
Geralt & Yennefer relationship is not boring and forced. As far as the romance goes, there is literally nothing ‘conventional’ or ‘typical’ about them, apart from the fact that he is a man and she is the female.
WARNING: There might be some book spoilers under the cut.
When Sapkowski was asked about their relationship, he often answered that the clue was to present them as the antithesis to  That Love Story that he often encountered in other fantasy novels or movies - a handsome, heroic man who falls in love with a princess, saves her and they live happily ever after. But in particular, it was Yennefer who was his main subject of ‘turning typical tropes on its head’.
When Geralt meets Yennefer, he’s presented with a woman who is..let’s say, unlikeable. She’s not a princess and she doesn’t need saving. On the contrary, she’s the kind of woman who could kill Geralt with a wave of her hand, before he could even blink. And Geralt not only knows that, but he likes that. She is also kinda mean, abrasive and controlling - both in the books and on the show.
But somehow...Geralt looks past that. He sees Something More in her and he sees that immediately. He instantly recognizes the trauma she’s trying to hide from the world and the mask she’s wearing (in the books there’s this long paragraph of Geralt’s internal monologue when he realizes that Yennefer used to be hunchback). And what’s more important - he sees in her the traits they both share. They both come from rough places, they’re both loners, they’re both unhappy and they both deep inside long to be loved. They’re also both isolated from the society which looks upon them (the show kinda failed to show this, but you need to know that  it’s not only witchers that are hated by the common people - wizards are treated like that as well.)
So..yeah, Geralt falls in love with her. And yes, it’s probably love at the first sight. Is it a trope? Yes, but it’s not presented in the ‘typical’ way. It’s turned on its head. There’s no knight in a shining armour falling in love with a cute princess. Geralt is not a knight and Yennefer is anything but lovable woman. And they don’t get their happily ever after (at least not for a long time).
Geralt makes a wish to save her because he already loves her and doesn’t want to lose her. And what’s important - In the books Yennefer knows exactly what he wished for (which is again something that the show changed) because she heard him. And no, she’s not pissed. She’s not angry. She’s “astounded” that Geralt - being able to chose literally everything in the world - money, respect, being ‘normal’ - ignored that and chose her. Despite her being nothing but aggresive and hateful towards him prior that. That is the moment when she for the first time starts to feel something for Geralt. Because she simply can’t believe that someone could make such sacrifice for her. It’s a huge moment which the show failed to portray correctly.
But like I said before - the bliss doesn’t last for long. Geralt & Yennefer for a long time have an “on” and “off” relationship. They meet and break up time and time again. They can’t last together not because they don’t love each other, but because each of them has such a baggage of emotional problems, insecurities that they need to work on, that it takes its toll on their relationship. Geralt feels he’s unable to love truly because he’s a “mutant”, while Yennefer longs for a ‘missing’ piece in her life (a child she can’t have).
In the Sword of Destiny, Yennefer tells Geralt that she and him “are made for each other” but it’s not going to work because they “need Something More”. At that point of the story the reader doesn’t know what she means by that but later it’s pretty clear that this “Something More” is Ciri herself. She’s the missing puzzle both in their lives individually, but also in their relationship. She’s like a bridge between Geralt and Yennefer.
So as you can see - the core of this story is family. Family by choice, created by Geralt, Yennefer and their adopted daughter. It’s a story about broken people who somehow find each other and love each other, despite the odds and events not working in their favour. It’s not a boring cliche or a forced romance bullshit.
Ok, that was longer than I intended it to be. I am not asking you to stop shipping Geralt & Jaskier or to start loving Yennefer. I just want to present a bigger context, which some of you may be missing right now. By disregarding Yennefer (who btw is a great character on her own, without Geralt) and her role in the protagonists’ lives, you’re doing yourself a huge disservice. I am simply asking to give it a chance and wait for the story to unfold.
P.S. : Some of Jaskier’s most famous ballads are canonically about Geralt & Yennefer. He basically made them famous across the world, with people gossiping and retelling tales about their love story ;)

Lore Introduction
So, I love what JK has created, but let’s be honest here. It is far from perfect. Don’t get me wrong, I love the new schools she has shown us but I can’t imagine there are only 11 schools in the whole fucking world. Cultures are vastly different and there can be a lot of conflict if you put two cultures together, even if they come from the same country. Which is why I went on the quest of finding stuff I want to have as head canon. And it all started with my discovery of Czocha College of Wizardry in Poland.
You may ask, but boo, what is the Czocha College of Wizardry?
Thanks for asking!
It’s this huge LARP even (I sadly never participated in). The amazing thing is they have so much information regarding new possible schools! Now, most of the schools they have included in their lore is European, but that is only because, who would have guessed? Poland has to deal the most with other European countries.
But don’t worry, I will try to include schools that exist in other continents as well. I can’t imagine Mexicans having no school of their own. Or China or India. Chinsese witchards all going to the Japanese school? Nah, man, sounds kinda fishy to me.
You can visit the LARP events internet site and they have an online library available from where I will get my information. I am going to add some ideas of my own into those, but I hope you’ll stay stuned. Now, the schools mentioned in their library (and I’ll add the schools that are canon) are:
Avalon in the UK
Balt Meddin in Poland
Beauxbatons Academy of Magic in France
Castlebruxo in Brasil
Czocha College of Wizardry Poland
Collegium Romanum Auspicio in Italy
Durmstrang Institute in Bulgaria(?)
Escola de Magia en Torré de Belém in Portugal
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in Scotland
Ilvermony in Eastern North Amercia
Koldovstoretz in Russia
L’Academie de Magie in France
Mahoutokoro School of Magic
Nibelungen Institut in Germany
Stenøya Trolldom Akademiet in Denmark
The Hermetic School of Natural Philosophy in Greece
Uagadou School of Magic in Uganda
If you wanna read some more about them go to their website https://witchards.com and find out some more. But as I said, I want to do some indepth analysis on the schools and add other schools that operate worldwide - maybe from other tumblr users (with their permission of course).
Each school is unique in their own way. If you have any thoughts please do share them with me!
Of course, I think I am going to share other things as well, I think are interesting and can be found in the wizarding community.

Meet the Team
Ever wondered who runs CRTranslate? Who answers your tweets and DMs? Who makes sure that all our tech stuff runs smoothly? And most importantly, who had the truly amazing idea of translating Critical Role into NINETEEN other languages? Well, lest meet the team:
Willow - France - @willsowl
Gnome Coordinator & Founder
Had a crazy idea once when they were bored, then it kinda blew-up and here we are. Love languages, organizing things, rambling and to make everything unnecessarily complicated for themselves. Sometimes they translate for the French team too.
Monique - Canada - @monique
Halfling Coordinator & Tech wizard
Came to practice her French, stayed for the great people and the great times. When she’s not editing French translations, she’s setting up sheets for all the languages. Your go-to for all of your technical questions!
Cathrine - Denmark - @adarkhufflepuff
High elf Social Media Manager
Wanted to contribute, but didn’t have time to translate. So, she settled on social media. Mainly runs the twitter, but also oversees the tumblr and occasionally the facebook. Got any questions about social media, our translations or do you simply want to share a funny quote that you had to translate? Send them her way!
Arymes - France - @arymes
Human (well, we need at least one?) Supervisor - French
After a long life spent on various battlegrounds, we all need some rest. And telling stories is a good way to have a great time. Restez un instant et écoutez…
Dash - Brazil - @brandonzed
Half-orc Supervisor - Potuguese
Already spends their entire day working in front of a computer so thought that a couple more hours wouldn’t hurt. They enjoy making sure the spreadsheets are colour-coded correctly and is constantly confused about everything.
Federwald - Germany - @federwald_CRT
Dwarf Supervisor - German
In love with language, RPGs, excessive world building and colour-coded spreadsheets, so where else would she be? Here for anyone who wants to experience the joys and sorrows of the Zemnian language.
Gabi - Spain - @gabicho
Levistus Tiefling Supervisor - Spanish
Loves languages, and thought it could be a good way to give back to the community. They quickly found themselves within a big group of wonderful people, and never looked back. Intimately and intensely dreads every time Sam opens his mouth.
Karolina - Poland - @Karo-Hug
*Kenku* Supervisor - Polish
“Nothing in life is to be feared; it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more so that we may fear less.”—Marie Curie
OltrePensiero - Italy - @OltrePensiero
Tiefling Supervisor - Italian
Came with the intent of lending a hand to fellow Italian critters, they found a table set for seven, but the house empty. Unsure if lost in an old dwarven tale, they keep the door open and wait, hoping that someone will return or that someone new will find their way into the story.
ViroValkyrie - Hong Kong - @valkyrielewis
Fire Genasi Supervisor - Chinese
Took up an idea to bring in more Chinese love to the Critter community and become the fool intending to move mountains ever since.

1:17am
jan/18/21
NewYork NY
Today was interesting. I caught myself off guard by realizing how easily a person can get influenced by another. My cousin and I have been discussing family a lot and it feels guilty because there’s so many mistakes, mess and drama. I feel like I definitely over spilled the beans. I need to learn how to stay civil like this is not the best, I know this because it didn’t feel the best but also that my mom sent me a long paragraph explaining how I need to be mature enough to see a world through my win lens and not always be influenced by others, even if they have more votes, my opinion should be entitled to myself and not bias. Bias is a bitch.
I read about Poland springs and how the water they promise us from the springs of Maine doesn’t even have “a drop of fresh water” and Nestle got a lawsuit worth $5millll like bro serves you right we out here drinking tap water lmaooo are we kidding ourselves? Is it really false advertising? Because the last I remember ain’t nobody getting an entire carton of water for like $4? And the plastic, manufacturing, transport, and resources used to get the water itself probably costs so much more. And we’re being promised fresh water from the springs. But why would they give out fresh water from the springs? Who even are we kidding. Isnt water supposed to be worth much more? I thought there’s a war that’s going to happen on water. Shit’s precious!!!
Either ways, I was so bored that right after I actually opened Omegle. No not for any perverted business but because I just wanted to talk to someone. Anyways I came across an 8 year old who told me her boyfriend probably cheated on her and when I asked what? She said yeah haven’t spoken to him in 2 years. I had to control my laughter so hard and I just said “well if you haven’t talked to him in 2 years chances are he probably talked to someone else.” And now as I write this I realized damn, I just gave a little girl advice way too much for her maybe. She dipped faster than a wizard, b knows Whatsup, confrontational issues and shihhh. Then I came across this 19 year old girl from West Virginia who told me her parents left her with her grandmother along with her two younger siblings. They’re drug addicts. I felt kind of really bad because when I confessed I’m glad I saw her face and not a 40y/o’s dick she laughed and said “I just wanted to talk” and I felt that. We both reached out for our puff bars and simultaneously took turns to spill. She told me her dad doesn’t give a shit. We were so chill, no omg I’m sorry to hear that shit. Because let’s be real, you don’t need to be sorry. This is my life, if anything I just want God to feel sorry. Sorry as in, I’m sorry you is sad :( here are your dreams and goals in your hands ta-da. I wish. I felt bad for the girl, the internet kept twitching so I just closed the tab. An 8 y/o and a 18 y/o girl I’ll never speak to again. She told me so much about herself but we never told each other our names. Just our pain? Her boyfriend was a scum bag. Ex boyfriend. Well, I kept silent because I felt like she was being really open. I will never talk to her again. Feels so weird?
That is our generations summary of emotional connection. Short. Like all the fkn boys in my school in FPS like fam just grow up literally lmao jk. Am I? Nah. Anyways I also ditched a friend so brutally I feel bad. They booked an air bnb in front of Central Park and got food and zaza and everything but I chose to meet my best friend his mom and sister, he knew I’m no way interested in him at all. He’s actually always been this genuine. Man’s took the biggest L for us. While Yaldram, rhyme and i walked to his place, he took out a joint and lit it up. Mind it, ain’t legal. A cop literally took a u turn and Yaldram passed it to him cause he was shutting his pants and this dude said yeah give it to me nothings going to happen. BUT SOMETHING HAPPENED.
the cop showed up and asked if that’s weed and rhyme said yes. Holy shit at this point he stretched his arm out and asked for it again and he said no it’s just weed bro, then he reached out called 4 other cop cars by pressing a button (for backup) and I finally said “just listen to him man”. It was embarrassing, people walking past kept looking. Anyways he took all the blame, honestly I just took one puff and was not onboard with the idea to begin with, not even 3 minutes ago I was reminding them how that’s illegal.
He got a ticket, and then I met Yaldram’s mom for the first time and I think I made it so weird because of all what had just happened, was so anxious but whatever. Met his sister and will meet her again tomorrow even though he won’t be there. That makes me happy. I’m welcomed.
However, it was 11:35 pm and I really had to leave cause metro closes at 12am and I realized now it’s too late to go to the air bnb. I didn’t go for two reasons. 1) it’s an airbnb with one guy and stoned? Yeah kinda not the best situation to put myself in. 2) 1
But I felt really bad, this guy rhyme said nothing. He went full MIA for more than a year and doesn’t speak to anyone and didn’t even get back on social media but reached out to me and met me and actually did all this and at the end said bro it’s no worries I’ll drop you, paid for my metro djdnt even let me Venmo (or give me his # or Venmo) only contacts on insta. I didn’t tell anyone I met him because I have to respect his privacy. I apologized a few hours ago because lastnight I said sorry and just that sorry about the food. Because he ordered food there already. But in the morning he told me that I’m a gem of a person and don’t realize that. Like why are you being so nice to me? I can suspect he has a soft spot for me and I have made boundaries and this friendship completely platonic the moment it happened. And he then told me remember the first time we met? ( I didn’t )
It was 2 years ago at a party where I was crying talking to my ex after 2 years of the break up. And this guy randomly walks upto me asks me if I’m okay and gives me water. Mind you no one in a party gives a fuck. Especially that party. And especially my tears against his. It was politically warm? I don’t even know. So that guy who saw me then, came to surprise me on my 21st birthday from NY with the goodies (so illegal) and then ended up meeting my other ex and Yaldram him and I roamed around Boston. It was fun because of my friends. And I was fkn stoned. But yeah and then he looked at me yesterday at the metro and laughed saying “you’ve grown beautifully” I get ceeped out super fast but with this dude I dont. Everhone (including me) thought he’s bi or gay because every time there’s a good looking man he’d say “wow he’s beautiful” but he’s straight he said and also I realized maybe he just speaks his mind. He asked me of the rumors I heard and I told him it was 1) stealing 2) gay and he was like who tf said I’m gay bro, and then he said the guy in front was cute, and then he said “that’s so gay” and laughed. So see? This is a very unusual man. But I had to be home regardless because a) arham b) 12:35am was a perfect time to be home. I don’t like staying out too late anymore? It feels weird. Unsafe perhaps.
However I apologized properly finally. Explaining myself. Saying that I get defensive when I’m high and that the metro closes at 12am but even though the original plan was Yaldram him and I meeting at the place he booked but Yaldram couldn’t show up so I made us go to him instead and we used the time up in getting him his first ticket and in letting me meet my friend before he goes.
I will never forget this man, he told me two of his best friends died that’s why he’d never want his friends to be in any type of trouble. And you know what’s weird about it all? He literally took all the blame in a heart beat with a calm smiley face and I know he’s the one who’s the real gem because not once did he complain or remove that smile off of his face. There was also supposed to be a surprise there but I won’t know anymore. I didn’t ask either.
Writing this made me realize, I want to live harder. I want to be a gem ( no tickets ) but I want to be a gem in my own eye where I can adore myself and allow others to too, and adore them back. Oh and there was also a drunk girl after the whole popo incident who was so sus she acted drunk and said I look like Ariana grande “petit, long hair, big eyes, trust me girl you’re good” and in my head I thought yikes these are the beauty standards in her head which are normalized and thst made me realize oh no she thinks she isn’t good enough does she? Well I hope she does. But also she was sus just weird, walked with us for so long then disappeared then 14 minutes later found myself again running into her at a grocery store by his house?? And she acted as if she never saw me before so I was like oh...
Anyways it’s 1:54 am and I’m glad I wrote today. I’m glad for today, today I was a little less sadder. Particularly because I complained less, tomorrow I’ll try harder.
The end
1:55am

Is all the countries too much to ask?
Okay, it took FOREVER, but I actually did pretty much all of them (I left out like three). If anyone actully bothers to read through this, they’ll definitely get to know me a lot better. Man, was that a lot of questions!
America: What is your favourite place to eat? Home or Abuela’s house. My mom and abuela’s cooking is seriously the best.
Australia: Do you have any quirks when speaking? I was homeschooled for a long time, and I’m an avid reader, so I sometimes mispronounce words I’ve only ever seen in print. I’ve also been told that I have a really slight accent and that I pronounce certain words strangely. I also use the word funner even though I know it’s not technically a word.
Austria: What kind of person do you wish to be? Intelligent, faithful, and kind. I want people to see Christ’s love when they look at me.
Belarus: Is there anyone you love? Family, friends, romantic interest? Well, I love my family and friends, of course. I am currently single, but there is a guy I like.
Belgium: What do you think of your siblings? They’re sometimes fun, sometimes annoying. We have good times and bad.

The thing about old cartoons #02
Since in my previous post about classic cartoons based on toys I had missed few interesting ones, I had decided to write a second part and include them too, because apparently I have too much time on my hands...
Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light (1987)
youtube
Action takes place on a planet called Prysmos, where for some unexplained reason all technology suddenly stopped working, throwing the society back into the dark ages, with knights, feudalism etc, with two feuding groups of warriors, the noble Spectral Knights and evil Darkling Lords fighting for the control of the planet.
They are given access to magic by the mysterious, ancient wizard known as Merklynn, which enables them to use the power of animal totems, use magic to power the vehicles left from "The Age of Science" etc, elevating their battle into another level...
So, basically a fusion of Sword and Sorcery with a bit of SF, that sold so well in case of "He-Man and The Masters of the Universe", that would surely be a huge hit...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But it wasn't.
You see, the whole gimmick behind the toyline was the use of holographic stickers with a pseudo 3-D effect, that I'll admit, look kinda awesome to this day...
Tumblr media
... But it also made their production quite expensive, which in turn made toys more expensive than for example “G.I. Joes” that were the same size, and as a result caused the whole series to tank.
Still, it is remembered fondly by many people, and it made a kinda-sorta comeback in the 2018 comic book series “Transformers vs Visionaries”, where updated versions of Spectral Knights and Dread Lords find themselves on Cybertron.
Tumblr media
So, maybe it would be a good idea to give it another try Hasbro?
Comic had given You cool, updated designs by Fico Ossio, so not using them would be kinda stupid...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
M.A.S.K (1985-1988)
youtube
Another series that should've been a huge hit, since it basically ripped-off both "G.I. Joe" and "Transformers" at the same time, but despite being quite popular during it's day, it somehow faded into the background and remains quite obscure nowadays.
The premise itself is nothing new, we have two secret organizations, that is heroic Mobile Armored Strike Kommand a.k.a M.A.S.K led by a millionaire named Matt Tracker, and villainous Vicious Evil Network Of Mayhem a.k.a V.E.N.O.M led by greedy Miles Mayhem fighting each other using advanced technology and vehicles.
We also got Obligatory Teen Protagonist For Kids To Identify With, in Tracker's son Scott, who often got into trouble due to his curiosity, and Irritating Non-Human Sidekick, that is Scott's robot sidekick / vehicle T-Bob, who aside from being cowardly and infuriating, could change into scooter.
Tumblr media
Series itself wasn't really groundbreaking, since most episodes repeated the formula of M.A.S.K agents trying to stop Evil Plot of The Week by V.E.N.O.M, which usually consisted of stealing something important and using it for evil, or simply gaining some cash, with Scott getting involved into it by accident, with a big battle in the third act.
But both series and the toyline itself had two gimmicks that made it interesting despite it's very by-the-numbers plots.
Firstly, every character wore a special helmet a.k.a MASK that had given them some kind of superpower, like shooting lasers, anti-gravity fields, shooting daggers, holograms, shooting fireballs, super-strength etc.
And yeah, most of those powers involved shooting stuff, cause it was easier to make toys like that, but the idea was still cool :)
Secondly, their vehicles could transform if needed, giving them additional capabilities, for example Matt Tracker's car, "Thunder Hawk" could change into a pseudo-jet and fly, while "Condor" motorcycle used by his teammate Brad "Chopper" Turner could change into a helicopter.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yeah, that is kinda cool, eh?
I certainly thought that as a kid, and was incredibly jealous of a friend of mine, who got “Raven” vehicle from his uncle living in the U.K, since it wasn’t sold in Poland at the time, heck even cartoon would only appear many years later, so I couldn’t get my own, despite begging my parents for one...
Tumblr media
Yet, as it turned out, cool concept is not enough to carry the series for a longer period of time, especially since from certain moment forward it can be seen, that producers of both toys and a cartoon got bored with it.
I mean, the second season of the series had thrown away the whole concept of fighting crime, even if it is in the theme song, instead focusing on... racing.
Because apparently don’t need too much action, or plot if You only try to add new stuff to the toyline.
Toys themselves got a bit less creative too, since by Series Four most new figures gained the power of “projecting holograms”, that is each set had a second figurine made of see-through brightly colored plastic, that was supposed to be the hologram.
Vehicles also got hit by this, as later on there was this “Split Seconds” idea, that is making two vehicles out of one, which basically amounted of body of a car being a “vehicle” and it’s chassis the other.
Less fuss, less moving parts, and cheaper...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yeah, it was cheap, but probably not in a way creators intended...
Thus, cartoon had ended, and toyline quietly died, but it was still remembered well enough, that in 2016 there was a new one-shot comic book based on a series, tying it with other Hasbro properties, like “G.I. Joe” and “Transformers”.
For example in this version M.A.S.K was created as a counter for Cybertronians, and V.E.N.O.M was working with Kobra.
Tumblr media
It was then changed into a full monthly series in 2017, and even though it was cancelled after ten issues, characters themselves still appear in IDW Publishing’s comic books, so maybe it’s the time to bring them back onto the screen in some form?
Tumblr media
Hmm...
I guess I would need to make this thing a series or something, since I am not even halfway through all the old cartoons I wanted to mention, and nearly ran out of space.
Oh, well, let’s see how many posts it would take me to get through them all.

Every and all countries.
HEY ITS MY FAVE ANON!!!! 😄😄😄💕 Thankies!!!! (Sorry for the delay, ive barely had internet)
America: What is your favourite place to eat?I’m not really sure 😂 I dont ever really go out to eat and if I do I just end up going to McDonalds or Nandos tbh
Australia: Do you have any quirks when speaking? ….I don’t know, I don’t pay much attention! I know if my head is somewhere else I’m terrible at keeping eye contact. Besides that I basically just laugh for one reason or another and say sorry 24/7.
Austria: already answered
Belarus: Is there anyone that you love? Family/friends/romantic interest etc.Oh hell yeah definitely!! I love my family one way or another ig. My friends, even the ones I don’t see often, I absolutely adore! I have like 5 people I would legit die for 😂
Belgium: What do you think of your siblings?I dont have any. I wish I did tho.
Botswana: Do you like to sing? Why?Yeah, I like singing since it sometimes helps when my mood gets down. I only really do it when I’m alone tho bc im shy
Bulgaria: Who do you consider close to you?I have 3 close friends tbh and id trust them with just about anything
Cameroon: Describe your culture.Lmaoooo what culture? 😂 I’m basically english and i dont even know if the things associated with that would be considered cultural? Idk we just drink tea, say sorry and are supposed to have a stiff upper lip at all times
Canada: Favourite wintertime activity? Not having to go to school 😂 idk tbh, sledging is kinda fun from what i remember?
China: already answered
Cuba: What sort of grudges do you hold if any?I very rarely hold grudges tbh, I let 99% of things go even if people don’t apologise. It’s hard to say where the line is without sounding overdramatic. I guess if they made my life so bad I considered ending it I wouldnt like someone too much (or if others saw that and continued to stay friends with them).
Cyprus: already answered
Denmark: Do you wish for something of your past?Nah, not really. I try my best to look forward, not back.
Egypt: Do you stand up for what you believe in? How?Ummmm, I’m not sure I could say I’m that active in it. I once wrote a long, anonymous letter to the headteacher or my school wrt the treatment and education of lgbt people. Besides that? I havent dont much. I’d go to a protest if there was one nearby that I supported.
England: Are you controlling? That’s hard to answer? Because when things happen my initial instinct is to control them. But I’m a lot more chilled out than I used to be, and continuing to try to improve on it. So the amount of things I actively try to control are very slim. The issues lies more with my hatred of vague plans tbh 😂
Estonia: Do you think people often misunderstand you?I don’t open up to that many people, not really. Most the therapists I’ve seen have never got me at all. In terms of friends, some do get it, though it depends upon what specifically I’m trying to explain/show etc.
Finland: What do you prefer; kindness, sternness or apathy?Kindness, for sure. It’s nice to know other people might look out for you when you’re not necesarily in a place to look out for yourself. Sternness is just,, hard to communicate with and apathy can put me on edge.
France: How do you share love for those you care for? Most the time I just send them memes 😂 I try to make sure I’m honest and I don’t hold back with compliments. I also try to show then that I really am interested in them/their life, tho sometimes I worry I’m annoying them.
What is the hardest thing you have ever had to do?4 A levels whilst also juggling 3 jobs at one point.
Germany: Do you have a hard time forgiving yourself?I rarely forgive myself for something without outside help, and even then it isnt guaranteed
Ghana: What is your favourite sport?Basketball, its the only one I understand 😂
Greece: Do you let others help you when in need?I do sometimes tell my closest friends if I’m in a really bad patch and out of options. Although, I become more focused on making them feel helpful than actually being honest when I can’t believe them etc.
Hungary: Who is the person you trust the most?My closest friends probably. Although there are different kinds of trust, so it varies with what I’m trusting and who I go to etc.
Hutt River: What is the most memorable dream or nightmare you’ve had?I remember most of my dreams tbh, and for months too. Nightmares especially, but i wont share those bc theyre really horrific tbh. I had a dream a few months back that I died and went to heaven, that was nice. Like, it just felt so calm, I didnt want to wake up.
Hong Kong: Do you fear death?I dont so much fear death as fear excessive pain and suffering tbh. I’m okay with not knowing what, if anything, happens after we die.
Iceland: Do you hide your real personality? Why?Not reaaally 😂 when I’m with people I know and trust I can pretty much be myself. But different people bring out different parts of me.There is a small part I crush right down bc I hate it, but it might slowly be fading.
India: How important is family to you?Idk, I’ve never felt super close to a lot of my family. I just sort of seem to find my own family, and theyre hella important to me.
Japan: Tell us a secret about yourself.I dont have that many secrets????? At all??? And the ones I do have I don’t tell for a reason 😂 lets go with: i have 2 moles and a shoulder dimple that look like a blob fish.
Kenya: What is your favourite wild animal?I love so many of them?!?!?!?! I love capybaras but also elephants and also gorillas???
Korea: What is one thing you accomplished by yourself?Ah, I never do anything completely by myself 😂 Idk, managing to get to america on my own was pretty scary, but I did it.
Kugelmugel: Is there anyone you have a love hate relationship with?I mean according to my anxiety, everyone I love hates me 😂But erm, the only person who I can really think of is my old geography teacher. He was a legend and I loved him, but for sure he hated me.
Latvia: Do you believe you are brave?Eh, idk. I don’t think I’m a coward, but it would depend on the situation.
Ladonia: What is the internet site you visit most often?Tumblr. I cant deny it.
Liechtenstein: How do people underestimate you most often?I have no idea, they usually overestimate me, though I don’t pay much attention to peoples expectations 😂 I genuinly have no idea, maybe I should ask my friends or something
Lithuania: Do you desire power? My initial answer is no, I’m not that interested in being powerful on a large scale. But I guess there are different kinds of power? Like, it would be nice to have the power to change other peoples lives for the better. Or the power that comes with being in government, which has always been something I’ve been interested in.
Macau: What is your favourite festival or celebration?Halloween. Without a doubt.
Molossia: Do you consider yourself strong?I used to think I was strong, given some of the things I’ve been through. Now though I realise I just supressed all the emotions that came with them, which are all coming back, and honestly I’m a weak mess.
Monaco: Do you think you are a lucky person? No, not really. 😂 I mean, there might have been 100 times ive narrowly escaped death, but I wouldnt know it.
New Zealand: Would you rather be an elf, dwarf, hobbit or wizard?I’ve never seen lotr/the hobbit ngl so just based on what I know I’ll say wizard bc magic
North Italy: What is your least favourite part of your personality? All of it. Idk, jealousy. Awkwardness. Inability to make conversation. Just who I am as a person.
Norway: What was the most disappointing time in your life?Idk, Ive been disappointed a lot 😂 my dad let me down p bad once, though i dont really wanna share the deets
Netherlands: Most generous thing someone has ever done for you?My best friend bought me a necklace with “you are the light of my life” on it and I still can’t get over how cute that is 😄
Poland: Hardest thing you’ve been through? The thing that comes to mind was the longest and most stressful night of my life. I’d just broken up from school for summer that day and we had an estate agent coming to value the house the next day so we could move out of the Flood Zone. That evening it rained and rained and I ran around the village asking council people to help us but no one came so we stayed up till 2am pouring water from around the house into wheelie bins to try and stop it coming in. Then I had a breakdown in the bath and just remember feeling so trapped. I never want to go through that again.
Prussia: Would you prefer to live forever or die alone?Oooooh thats a tough one! Bc living forever would surely involve a lot of time alone. I think I’d hate it tbh, 80 years is enough for me 😂 but dying alone is like, my greatest fear tbh. So I’ll say live forever.
Roman Empire: How would you like to be remembered?Idk, just as a good person that maybe helped a few people out, I suppose. I mean, sure I’d love to find a cure for cancer and change the world etc but gotta be realistic
Romania: What is something you are very ashamed of?There are parts of my body I hate so much I’ve genuinly considered taking a knife to them myself. I also struggle to deal with the whole gender/sexuality thing, no matter how much people tell me its okay.
Russia: Have you ever suffered from low self esteem? Do you still? For sure, yeah. I really struggle to love myself in any way, it’s an alien concept to me and I’ve always been taught to keep my mouth shut about anything I actually do like.
Sealand: Who is your best friend? My bro @only-slightly-dangerous lmao
Seborga: What is your favourite beverage?I absolutely looove milkshakes (despite being lactose intollerant 🙄), especially oreo ones
Seychelles: How do you handle people being rude to you?Lmaooo I don’t 😂 if they say anything personal, I take it to heart. I might try to talk back but I’d just screw it up.
South Italy: What is your favourite part of your personality?Ummm, idk, I don’t really think about the words I could use to describe my personality? I guess I quite like my sense of humor. Idk.
Spain: What would you tell to the person or people you hurt most if you had a second chance?I don’t want to sound like,,, a twat,,, but I don’t really think I’ve ever really badly hurt someone (not knowingly or intentionally anyway). The only person I can think of is someone I cut off for being a bad friend… so I don’t really feel too bad about that.
Sweden: Are you a leader, follower or independent?Lmao all of the above, depending on the circumstances 😂 I don’t mind leading things and taking charge, Im quite good at being organised. But equally I don’t mind following other people if I agree with their plans. I also love being independent and doing things alone, bc it feels free and you don’t have to worry about anyone else.
Switzerland: Would you consider yourself evil, good or neutral?Good, I think. I try to be a good person. Sometimes my initial reaction or thoughts might not be good, but I always want to do the right thing.
Thailand: How good is your poker face?If I’m just pissing about, not great. I just laugh. But if I’m serious it’s pretty good, if I can say that 😂 I’m good at acting when I want to be.
Tibet: What do you value most? What?? As in a quality? Or objects?? Idk. People with good intentions, I’ll say that.
Taiwan: What do you think of the people or person who raised you?I have a lot of feelings towards them, not all of them good. I’d rather not talk/think about it rn though.
Turkey: Would you ever want children?Without a doubt, yeah. I’m not sure if I’d have my own or adopt, maybe both. I’m not that naturally maternal; I love kids but knowing how to talk/react to them doesnt come naturally. Im probs more of a dad 😂
Uganda: How would you like others to see you?I dont know???? Just as a kind and trustworthy person that genuinly cares and will always try my best to help when I can.
Ukraine: What is one thing that has made you stronger in life?I have no idea. I don’t feel like a very strong person at all. My life just feels like a long string of events I’ve had to cope with.
Vietnam: What is something you are proud of about yourself?I don’t really,,, feel pride 😂😂😂 like I honestly can’t think of a time I’ve felt like that. I guess I’m pleased I did well in my A levels? But even then I wouldnt say I’m proud.
Yemen: What kind of art do you like? Its hard to describe? I know it when I see it 😂 I’m not too bothered about portraits and paintings of dull landscapes, but equally some modern art is barely Art. I quite like paintings that are bright, or tell a story. I also like sculptures if theyre based on cool stuff like, the human body ooor dragons idk. Mosaics are p nice too
Zimbabwe: Who is your favourite character from any folklaw?I’m not sure I know many folklaws 😂 The person that comes to mind is rumplestiltskin, but I think thats only bc I love his chacter in Once Upon a Time
