-me seeing someone say dad for one isn’t realistic because afo wasn’t a good dad to Shigaraki-

That’s assuming that dad for one means he’s a great dad. It has no relations on him being good or bad parent nor can Tomura be used as a way to ‘disprove’ anything when he’s a purposeful victim/replacement.

Sometimes I wonder if they assume all dad for one believers think AFO is sunshine and roses to his family. Or that he can’t be both callous and cruel to Tomura yet marginally better when with family/kin. Dad for one is simply the belief that AFO is Izuku’s biological dad it can’t tell you how that relationship actually is. Also if going to use relationships with family you can only use Yoichi as a more accurate measure.

Everyone theorized Dabi being but were very wrong about his relationship with his siblings. Since they thought he liked them for some reason only to be shown he could care less as considered them part of the problem.

But most people believing in dad for one kind of believe that AFO even if is ‘nice’ to his family still has a dubious connection. As likely would lie or omit information from them about his villain life. Also the man would be ‘Hisashi’ who is always over seas so isn’t even around much which can be seen as neglectful. Never even a damn phone call.

Sometimes I wonder if people only see dad for one and assume, There no way it canon AFO is terrible to Tomura!

And seemed to forget that Tomura was chosen specifically as a vessel. His purpose was never a ‘son’ but a replacement body. While family as he shown with Yoichi don’t have a role in the villain empire. He doesn’t need them to do anything but be beside him. And that’s the minimum, but is also willing to do excessive force as seen when threw his little brother in a vault.

I dunno it just there always someone that anti-dad for one bringing up Tomura or how cruel he is when it has literally no bearing on dad for one theory heck he could just be a sperm donor and it works. Also Tomura would be justified in being pissed the fuck off that AFO had a semi-normal life while making him suffer. Because it truly fucked up how he will truamitize and hurt Tomura then go home to his family like nothing.

omg reverse riko au is making me feel so ill..... please let us know if you have any more thoughts abt riko kayleigh and kevin legend.....

I DO my idea is that its around the same age kevin and riko met in canon so tetsuji kicks the bucket when riko is 7/8 and riko is (very forcibly) removed from the nest and sidelined to kayleigh as a new moriyama asset from the main branch takes over the nest. riko struggles a lot with the change because he is very young and very scared and he’s used to horrible things at tetsuji’s hand, which means that he doesn’t trust kayleigh and finds kevin entirely too weird. it’s honestly really cute because i think at this point obviously 7 year old kevin wants to befriend him but riko is such an anxious ball of anger that most of their interactions are like

baby riko: what do you WANT from me. go AWAY!!!! NOW

baby kevin: (heavy irish accent) nothing i think. do you want a bite of my sandwich?

anyway i think riko and kayleigh do get along but he never really considers her his mother or even godmother, for a long time he thinks of her as his Benefactor until the child therapy starts hitting and she becomes Aunt Kayleigh and then after a few more years he can be loosely convinced to refer to her as auntie once or twice a year. his second son syndrome never really leaves him; in the upcoming years riko struggles with the idea that he’s anything But an add-on to the days and still overworks himself to death trying to be acknowledged by kengo, but it’s leaps better just from being outside the nest and having people to look out for him

riko and kevin have some rough patches, especially during riko’s first years with the days. because kevin is an easy target and riko is afraid of kayleigh he ends up letting a lot of that anger out on kevin, though obviously at this point they are children and riko’s anger manifests in some mild bullying and name calling. i think kevin doesn’t even understand it most of the time 😭 riko has been around grown ups his entire life so his adult level insults make no sense to kevin’s seven year old mind. nevertheless after kayleigh tells him to stop picking on kevin riko does respect it (first out of fear, then later because they actually get along) and they go on to become brothers with only a slight tendency towards antagonism. riko’s jealousy of kevin is still a big part of their relationship and i think even more so when college applications roll around, and he’s even more worried when wymack comes into the picture, but it never culminates into anything as horrible as hand breaking because riko has an actual outlet and a support system :) it’s mostly a yelling match that eventually turns to getting scolded by kayleigh for acting like barbarians

I was thinking about Stone and his variants and their responses to if you said you love him (along with my little comments). It's a little angsty for some of them and for Serial Killer!Stone you get a little more insight on why he thinks loving him always ends in tragedy.

Stone/Canon!Stone: "You do? ...No one has ever loved me before."

(Canon!Stone truly has no idea what to do with someone who loves him, huh?)

Girl Dad!Stone: "Ever since my early adult years, I thought only Saira would be the one to say those words to me. I love you too."

(There's enough room in his heart to love you and Saira.)

Grim Reaper!Stone: "You don't have to pretend to love me. I'm already your weapon to wield."

(Every time I think about him, it hurts. And here I thought Canon!Stone hurt me the most.)

Criminal!Stone: "I love you too. You're the air I breathe."

(Please stop him before he tells you about how you're his entire universe. We get it, you're obsessed with the mafia boss, Criminal!Stone.)

(I have no words for this response except for that it somehow fits Feral!Stone so much. Why does he think you should worship the very ground he walks on?? Where did this arrogance come from??)

Serial Killer!Stone: "The last man to love me died in a dirty alleyway with no one around to be with him in his last moments."

(Fun fact, Kali and Serial!Stone were dating and Kali was on his way to propose to Stone when he got mugged. Yes, Kali's death was the preverbal straw that broke the camel's back and got Stone into vigilantism.)

Experiment!Stone: "I didn't think anyone would love me after what the military did to me. But I feel so happy that you love me because I love you too."

(He thinks he's a monster due to the fact that he's half-tiger-half-man now. But you remind him that he still has his humanity.)

Vampire!Stone: "Know that I'd burn in the sun for you if it meant you were safe."

(It's an odd way to say he loves you too, but at least the intention is there.)

Werewolf!Stone: "I don't need a huge pack, I just need you."

(That's his way of saying he wants to bear your pups. I mean, it's his way of saying he loves you.)

whats fun about barry as a protagonist vs other Morally Complicated Guy Shows is that he seriously has no ambition lol, his wildest dreams arent like becoming super rich or relishing in holding power over people, like all he wants is simple happiness, maybe career success, normal life stuff, his wildest dreams are like…. being able to have a wedding. having a kid or two. and theres something reasonable about that, it makes him relatable for a while until the show is very clearly like No dude, that is a fucking serial killer, you should not gaf! and you’re like oh right lol. it’s crazy to make such a simple desire seem so malicious but still human

Bringing his hand up, he rubs at his jaw and just watches his kid a moment more before he pushes up, moving to close the door partly and turning on his heel to shuffle quietly down the hall to the kitchen. Grabbing the cordless, he drops down onto a seat at the small breakfast table and stares at it. He knows he needs to call the others, Sarah and Slider at the very least to let them know what's happening. That of everyone, they deserve to know that he's broken up with Mav, that Bradley will be living with him for the rest of his senior year. That they need to know what Carole said, what she, and Mav, tried to do to Bradley.

Lucifer drummed his fingers on the table, trying not to bounce his leg. The hair on the back of his neck prickled. He glanced over his shoulder again, searching for that familiar figure, fearing those eyes that so enraptured him. Where normally he would seek Alastor in excitement now he was terrified of discovery - and Charlie hadn’t even arrived yet.

He bit his lip.

“You came.”

He turned back around to find her standing behind the chair opposite him, arms crossed over her chest and fingers twisting in the hem of her sleeve.

Lucifer hastily stood, stepping around the table, and then aborting the attempted hug and instead pulling out her chair for her. She offered him a shy smile and sat. “Thanks,” she said.

He returned her smile, sitting back down and offering her the chocolate milkshake he’d ordered. Her face lit up and she accepted it, taking a long sip and humming her appreciation. They sat in awkward silence for a long moment before Lucifer said, “Do you… remember that night?”

Charlie’s gaze cut away.

Great job, Lucifer, he thought. Let’s just start with the worst night of your life. And hopefully the worst night of her life, because that meant Alastor wasn’t lying and she’d had a good childhood.

“Only a little,” she said. “Just bits and pieces. I remember how terrified I was, and Alastor taking me home.”

“Do you remember if she said anything to you?”

Her brow scrunched and then she shook her head. She opened her mouth, like she wanted to ask something, and then took a drink of her milkshake instead.

Lucifer had to clench his fist to avoid fidgeting again. After a moment he said, “...How do you like school?”

This seemed a topic Charlie was more comfortable with. “I haven’t been since the old schoolhouse closed down, but Rosie’s been teaching me at home. She used to be a teacher, you know, until she decided to open her boutique.”

Lucifer frowned. “You don’t go to school?”

Charlie gave him a flat look. “The only schools that have survived the depression are white only, and Alastor is not that.”
