tfw when you want to share your interests with others but you have a crippling fear of boring people to death by yapping too much about your interests because you have been on that end in the past, when someone else kept on pushing you for months to read a book they were obsessed with that you didn’t end up liking, when they ranted and vented constantly without asking, when they only cared about their own topics and kept on ranting about them without showing genuine interest in yours, and you don’t ever want anyone to feel the way they made you feel so when you talk to other people, you just shut up and hesitate to actually talk about yourself and your interests and passions because you’re not used to being listened to and you don’t want to hurt others like you were hurt

I love getting an idea for an original story and immediately thinking of three existing movies that did something just like it.

The good news: it's called a genre. The reason the same themes/similar premise has been done before is because it's fun and people like it. I watched all three movies at one time or another in my life, and didnt think "this 2nd movie is worthless because 1st movie exists". I was happy to have 2 cakes of the same kind but different flavors.

The bad news: the anxiety monster is chasing me and its trying to kill my joy

I bought a Netflix subscription on Wednesday and I will tell Yall everything I watched in these past 5 days because I wanna share

1. Centaurworld - so good oh my god I loved it

2. The rest of disenchantment - i'd already watched seasons 1-3 at a friend's house so it was nice to see the ending I enjoyed it

3. Bee and puppycat - still love it but haven't finished rewatching yet cause I wanted to watch some other stuff

4. Dead End: Paranormal Park - absolutely freaking amazing FUCK YOU NETFLIX FOR CANCELLING IT 🖕

5. Inside Job - love this show FUCK YOU NETFLIX FOR CANCELLING IT 🖕

6. Drifting Home - a really good movie I bawled my eyes out 10/10

7. Up on Poppy Hill - so...so we're not gonna talk about the time Ghibli did almost incest huh....

8. When Marnie Was There - second time watching (first was on DVD) really enjoy it one of my favourites

9. Nimona - FUCK YEAH I LOVE THIS MOVIE

10. The Willoughby's - I liked it :3 I really liked the animation style

11. The Sea Beasts - really fun movie, I adore the blue thing absolutely zero thoughts behind it's eyes

The wrong thing is not the fact that you write a story with an oc, no, that's not the real problem, really.

IT'S JUST THE FACT THAT YOU USE THE WRONG TAG SO YOU HOPE MORE PEOPLE READ YOUR STORY. BUT BELIEVE ME IT'S JUST FUCKING ANNOYING 'CAUSE WE AREN'T ABLE TO FIND THE RIGHT FICS IF YOU KEEP DOING THIS!!!

There are people who like to read more stories with ocs than reader inserts, so use the fucking right tag go reach that community and stop spamming your stories among ours.

I don't think you get it but, you know, the purpose of fanfics with reader insert is to make the reader imagine her/himself as the mc of the story. The best part of these fics is the fact that EVERYONE can be included in them.

SO WHY THE FUCK DO YOU HAVE TO RUIN THEM BY MAKING THE MC A PERSON THAT LOOKS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM THE READER AND EVEN HAS A NAME THAT IS NOT THEIRS?

Not to be dramatic but i hate y'all.

And the fact that it's always the same fandoms and we all know who we're talking about...
