so ik i’ve seen a lot of hcs for what the batfam would listen to in the bat mobile and for tim a lot of people say that he listens to podcasts. which like yes i can see that but i also think if he is like podcasted out(bc i get that way so i think he does too) he listens to like cunty, trashy music in it. like they are on their way to a drug bust and tim is on aux and all the sudden you hear like ayesha erotica playing. and the goons are like “oh shit it’s spoiler!!! ,,,,, is that red robin????” so here is a list of artists/songs i think tim fucks w/ hard core when he is on patrol.(to preface he avoids pop-punk on patrol if he knows people will hear his music bc tim drake-wayne is known for enjoying it in my head so red robin is when he lets out the more suprising side of his music taste)

Met Jason Schwartzman today, at the Venice Film Festival. I think at least 20 people completely surrounded him after the showing of Pavements (2024). He ws so incredibly kind with every single one of us, very soft-spoken, took the time for an autograp or a picture with everybody, and I mean, l EVERYBODY (security had to tell him numerous times to get put of the cinema because they had to show another movie). And even outside the cinema, he kept chattering with us and taling pictures and singing photos and programs of the Festival. He thanked us numerous times for coming to see him, seeing his movies, paying him compliments. He seemed almost as happy to see us as we were to see him. I got to tell him that one of my favourite movie characters of all time was Max Fischer, from Rushmore (his first movie ever). He was pleasantly surprised, a little endeared dare I say, thanked for that and I think he paid me a compliment as well but I kinda blacked out from the emotion. I just remember that at some point I said "Thank you for being you" and he said "Thank you for being you" and I still think I died on the spot and I am currently in heaven. It was such a nice moment, I wanted to share.

being someone who was a massive gothy Tim Burton fan throughout their teens, spending the last several years seeing Burton turn out soulless dry biscuit film after soulless dry biscuit film, then going into the cinema and watching Beetlejuice Beetlejuice and discovering it to be the most deliciously barmy, left-out-in-the-rain, toxic green slime cake I ever et, was such a delight for me. It was wonderful. I cut into that cake and it was full of real sets and B-movie makeup and soul. I felt like Gordon Ramsay when he goes back to the failing restaurant after they've gotten their shit together and he eats their revitalised menu and it's completely unrecognisable from the slop he was served before. I felt like breaking into Tim Burton's kitchen with my licked-clean plate and yelling, "Yes! Thank FUCK! Finally some passion in your fucking work, Tim!"

i made my friends laugh a lot tonight and it made me so so so happy, but then on my drive home i started thinking about how it probably says something about my psychology that i care this much about people thinking i'm funny and got ready to go on this whole spiral until i stopped myself and said no! you dummie! people like to make their friends laugh! that's normal and healthy! it's hard work but i am slowly learning to be less of a dumbass. or at least a dumbass that's a little kinder to herself 🙃🙃🙃
